Afterwards she walk around and walk into a second hand shop where she saw two teenagers talking to the owner trying to sell some items. She walk look around when she overheard them talk about metals. So she work her way closer and saw the item on the counter
"How much for the candle sticks" she asked
"Twenty dollars" the owner asked.
"Ok" she went and open her wallet
"Oh damn i'll go to an ATM machine and get some money out, those are unusual metals"
"they belong to my late grandfather" one of the boys said
"Why sell them"
"I needed the money"
"Ok, i'll be back in a few minutes"
"Of course" she walked out of the shop and walk to the next door while getting her phone out of her pocket.
"Maggie it Elle, you not going to believe this, the two teenagers who broke in to mr nelson place, they here in st davids… i'm not joking, tell PJ to get his ass here now…. It four doors down from the photographer center… I'll delay them long as i can" then she hung up.
She went to the ATM machine and got the money out then return back slowly to the shop.
Maggie ran over and open PJ door "PJ elle called the two teenagers are in st davids at second hand shop, they must be trying to sell the metals"
"Let's go" he got up and grabbed his jacket as they walk out the door
"where are you two going" the inspector asked
"Elle called she saw the teenagers trying to sell of Mr Nelson stolen items medals included, she going to stool them till we get there" Maggie said then she follow PJ out to the CI car.
"I'll be in Sargent office" he said to dash and Nick.
When elle return the two teenagers was still there. "What else have you got that I might be interested in" she said smiling The owner of the shop and the two boys try to talk about deals on different items till Elle heard screech of tires outside.
Then she saw PJ walk in and up to where elle is. "Elle"
"PJ did you bring two sets"
"Yes i did"
"Good these are the items" she pointed to on the counter
"and these, i thought you would love these, he a collector" She said to the two teenagers. PJ put gloves on and pick them up and check the metals over
"Oh yes these are in excellent condition"
"so you will buy them" one of the boys asked
"I'll take them off your hands"
"Great how much"
"What do you think elle"
"Ten to fifteen"

"what it's worth more than that" the owner said
"He not talking about dollars, he talking about years"
"what" they all said then PJ showed his badge
"Senoir detective Hasham and your all under a rest" One went to run while PJ grab the other. Elle ran and tackle the kid to the ground
"Maggie" she yelled out then Maggie appeared and help cuff the teenager then she return to where PJ is.
"Great tackle elle"
"Thanks PJ, months of practice" she gave him a wink. The turn to the owner
"you might as well close up shop and go with these two to the police station"
"Are you a copper"
"no but I do work with them"
"elle we going to need another car"
"tom will be here soon, I called him ten minutes ago"
"good" PJ and Maggie pack all the items after taking photos of them when Tom showed up.
"Elle, you wanted to see me here… PJ, Maggie what going on"
"Case close boss" Elle said show him two bag items.
"What" then he looked at the two teenager boys.
"I know you two"
"You know them" PJ asked
"Yes i do, your grandfather's would be so angry with you two after what you done, get them out of here"
"Boss can this man go with you back to the station since PJ car is full"
"Why"
"He going to buy all the items for those two boys. And i wonder how much of this stuff is stolen, you can have the honor of telling inspector falcon price about that"
"You would like that wouldn't you"

"Yes i would"

"Excuse me boss" she walk outside
"Yes PJ"
"can you get this developed" he pass her the film
"On to it"
"thanks, see you back at the station" elle return to the photographer and hand him film over

When Elle return back to mount Thomas police station she pass the photos to PJ
"thanks Elle"
"any time how did it go with Rusty?"
"he was shocked with what was happening under his nose in St Davids"
"I bet and the two boys"
"they been charge. Boss calling there grand fathers"
"I hate to be in their shoes when there grandfathers get hold of them"

Week later both boys pleaded guilty for what they have done and was sentenced to eighteen months in prison. While Mr Nelson was in hospital PJ spoke to Tim about getting the door fix on Mr Nelson house which he and Brad went to check the damage and notice the door steps needed fixing and other things that needs to be done including the bathroom.
Tim Call Elle in to look at the bathroom for ideas since he knows what she is like. She look at the bathroom and told Brad and Tim an idea which they agree upon including widening the back door since it was badly damage and replacing the back porch since some of the timber is rotten. When they finish talking about it. Elle return back to work.
The next day she and Tim went to see Mr Nelson who in hospital, they saw his son there with him. Tim talk about the damage back door and about the back porch. "There is nothing wrong with it" Mr Nelson said
"Mr Nelson, i'm afraid it is. I put my foot through a rotten board by accident. Just imagine if that happens to you, you could easily break your leg"
"she right dad and i've been telling you for years that it needs fixing"
"Yes i know but it going to cost to much, the carpenters today charge the earth think that us pensioners are made of money"
"Another thing is your bathroom from what we have been told that you have been having problems getting in and out of the bath"
"Yeah so" Elle show him and his son a ruff drawing
"If you agree, this is what your new bathroom would look like"
"where the bath"
"gone, you will have a walk in shower like they got here in the hospital, a new sink, toilet, doors"
"but that will cost a lot of money"
"Tim" Elle said Tim show him the three sheets.
"First one for your back door, the second one for your steps and back porch and last one for your bathroom" Tim said.
"Is that for taking the bath out and put walk in shower, that a lot of money" Mr Nelson said tim explains what would be done so Mr Nelson can understand. He was shocked by it
"Wow I'm impressed that for the whole bathroom and toilet"
"Yes"
"Dad this is way cheaper than that firm in st davids"
"Why is it cheaper, the block was going to charge me an extra grand just for the back porch" tim and Elle smile at each other then turn to him
"All war vets and retired police officers and their widows get a discount through cole and family" Elle said
"Really i didn't know that" Mr Nelson son said in shocked
"It's true, you ask Tom Croydon" Tim said
"Well dad what do you think"
"It a lot of money"
"If you can't pay it all at once we can work work out an automatic payment system." tim said.
"Tom did when he got a gazebo with concrete pad and archway replace with a concrete pad and seat done up in time for Anna, his daughter's wedding. He done it and done automatic payment for two years. He got nine months left. It works out well and if you went to a bank you would be charge interest, this way no interest" Elle said
"Think about it and give me a call" tim said
"Can we talk about it now" Mr Nelson asked
"Sure" tim said. They talk about it and work out how much will come out of Mr Nelson account and over how long.
The next day Tim return with the paperwork for Mr Nelson to sign and he gave Tim a cheque and Tim gave him a receipt for it. Once it was clear which took twenty four hours, Brad and five workers plus the election and plumbers went around to Mr Nelson house and got started on it while the son was there since he took time off work to look after his dad.
It took five days to get it all done. And the son was shocked by the transformation of the bathroom. Three days later Mr Nelson walk up the ramp that was at the back of his house. He was shocked with what happen to his back door and porch and steps. He was happy. Tom was there to see what was done.
"Are you happy Micheal"
"Oh yes Tom. Tim workers done an amazing job"
"Yes they have alright" Micheal open the door and walk in side with Tom and his son behind him.
"They fix my chair" He said
"Yes, one of the workers was able to fix it" His son said
"That good of him" then he walked down to where the bathroom door is and open it and walk in
"Oh my" he said as he look around
"you like it dad"
"Oh yes, it makes the room a lot bigger"
"Yes it does dad" then he walked over to push the door open
"you slide it dad"
"Oh" he side the door open and stepped into the doorway to see it was the toilet with hand rails "I love it and the new windows" He turned around to Tom
"you tell Elle and her husband that I'm happy with the work"
"i'll tell elle"
"thank you it money worth while spent. But what did they do with the bath"
"I'll show you dad" they walk outside and around where the garden shed is. Michel smile when he saw the old bath partly in the ground with concrete wall around it and it got dirt as well different herbs growing in it plus he notice the down pipe was changed so it would go straight into the old tub.
"Who idea was this?"
"elle dad, and look over here" they walk over to where the old sink is
"bird bath"
"Yes dad"
"I love it" When Tom return back to the station, he gave Elle the good news.
"That great news boss, i please he happy with the changes"
"Same here Elle"
Month later Tim took elle away for the weekend to celebrate there eighth wedding anniversary. He took her up to Darwin for three days while PJ and Maggie look after the kids. When they return they were happy and return back to work.
Couple days later PJ was with Maggie for her doctor appointment and ultrasound on there baby since Maggie is eighteen weeks pregnant. They smile as they watch their baby move around and happy to learn that everything is ok. When they return back to the station Maggie gave Tom her doctor cififate to let him know that she standing down from patrols and other cases till after her maternity leave.
So the next morning Maggie showed up in normal maternity clothes since she is showing already. Since Maggie couldn't go with PJ on cases he took Dash with him since she is interested in CI work.
