IT TOOK LONG MONTHS TO FINALLY DO THIS CHAPTER. Sorry for making you await, my editor and I had so much into our schedule of work and studies, that I couldn't manage to find time or energy to focus into writing some of my most favorited fanfics. I was focusing into writing my Helluva Boss fanfics related to comedy and drama and wholesomeness, but I kept trying to find motivation to keep doing my best to make you enjoy this chapter.
My editor couldn't edit this series because he had so much on his plate, so that's why I decided to give him the option to focus only on my Yugioh GX fanfic. Sorry but I need you all to have patience over some grammar mistakes. But good news is, now I can focus on this fanfic... well, when I get on vacations on December. Sorry that it took so long, but my classes came back and I need to focus at my college as well.
Anyway, enjoy the first official episode of Pokeleonidas Podcast. I hope you guys enjoy it.
Far away in the Kanto region, once again Professor Oak was sitting in his lab and trying to have a good afternoon of studying, but a friend who made himself known once again made him stop his work to listen to what his friend had to say, and this time it made him think so hard about the question he asked, and when the song came out with it, it made such a good impression on the professor that he couldn't help but smile.
"Welcome Pokemaniacs. For those of you who have been listening to my introduction, first of all I would like to thank you all who are here listening to the first official episode of the Pokeleonidas Podcast. My name is Josh and next to me we have my partner who you all may have met since yesterday, Misty."
"Hey guys. Josh, are you sure this is going to work?"
"Trust me, think of it like we're talking while we walk. The same way we did before."
"Well, if you say so, but I confess I'm a little nervous."
"It's normal for everyone starting out, but we have to keep our focus on today's episode since it will be the first episode. I came up with a good title for it. Today's episode is called 'ASH YOUR CRETIN, YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE LEFT THE CITY WITHOUT US.'"
"Pfff." Professor Oak spit out his hot coffee and dropped most of it into his pants."UGH. WHY?"
"Oh my God, are you okay, Professor? Oh my god, I hope Ash is okay." Delia watched the annoyed professor with a surprised yelp, which was enough to predict the headache he was about to get.
"Don't worry about it, Delia, everything will be fine... I hope. Professor Oak used a towel to wipe the hot coffee liquid over his lap. The pair could hear their guest trying to hold back laughter, but it was almost failing.
"Well, for everyone who doesn't know what happened, yesterday we found the person who detonated the bike of our lovely co-host of today's episode, and for all the people who were curious how it ended for him. It was a pretty hard kick to his balls, and while he was still on the ground she kept kicking him in the body."
"Wow, I never wanted to make a girl that angry." Max, who was listening to the podcast with not just his sister but with his dad by his side, looked at his sister's satisfied smile, which made him swallow dry. "Okay, girls are scary,"
"They're worse when they grow up and become women, Max, bear that in mind.'' Norman, who was sipping his coffee, gave the advice when he suddenly felt a shiver run down his spine and he slowly looked towards the kitchen when he saw his lovely wife looking at him.
"Would you like to repeat that, dear?" The smiling housewife was saying sweetly to her husband, who knew that any answer he might give would end in a terrible punishment.
Max noticed the looks from his own father that proved what he had said, and both boys swallowed dryly after knowing the terrible things that would happen if they angered the girls.
"JOSH, YOU SHOULDN'T SAY THAT TO EVERYONE."
"Trust me, it's better to comment now because imagine being known by every town and having to answer the same question about what you did when you met the person who destroyed your bike, over and over again. Sometimes it's better to give them the climax of the story for everyone.
"He's right." The pink-haired gym leader exclaims, happy to know what happened to the stupid boy who made her furious by hearing how her companion's bike was destroyed by that asshole. And now she was laughing seeing how that boy had been kicked to the ground. While she enjoyed seeing her own Miltank using rollout and destroying another weak opponent against her.
"AHHHH, THAT'S NOT FAIR." The boy shouted angrily as his own Espion was being destroyed by the simple rollout technique.
"Yes, yes, cry to your mother, can't you see I'm busy here? Whitney called out, as the boy pouted. And wanted to say something, but decided to use his pokéball to take his own spiel inside, and decided to take a break from listening to the podcast as well. He was curious to know what had happened.
"Well, in short, the same person, who I won't name again... decided to just leave town and ignore my advice. So now I want to explain to everyone how a good first episode of this podcast. What will be the topic... Things that are a must for all trainers who are about to start a journey. For all aspiring trainers who want to get out of their city and start their own journey. I'm going to give you the best advice on what's the best way to start a journey on the right foot and the benefits of doing everything I'm going to say. Okay?"
In a nearby town in the forest, a group of children who seemed to be reading a book, stopped as they heard the voice of the said pokemon trainer being heard by the adult teacher with his pokedex in his hands.
"That's a good idea. The adult, dressed in his costume. Decides to grab a chalk and head to the blackboard. "Okay, class. Grab your notebooks and pencils, we're going to give you all the advice and I hope you're ready to learn some interesting tips and advice about your trip before it even starts."
"Well, Misty, let's start with the first and most important tip every pokemon trainer should do before leaving any city."
"Is that planning your packing in advance?"
"Exactly. Before you set off to any place without civilization, be it a forest, a desert, a glacier or even the sea... You should always prepare your supplies..."
The group of students were taking down all the information from the host trainer's saying and his partner who was there to explain the ideas and tips for their future trip.
"Oh that's right, your pokemon must always be healthy, at the same time it must eat the right food".
"Close, but it's not a cigar". Said a teacher from another region, full of water and sand, of a tropical island paradise, while checking his own pokedex and even helping the Alola region set up a school to help children on their first trip.
"You may be right, Misty, but you're also making a terrible mistake."
"Wait, me? What do you mean by that?"
"When I referred to the supplies, I didn't just mean the pokemon... You, as a trainer, must also take care of yourself. If we didn't eat before we left town, Misty, how could we have."
"Well, with the food you have... ohhhhhh."
"Exactly. I approve of all kids being excited about traveling the world and always having the best of intentions to take care of their pokemons... However, if you are taking care of your pokemon and no one is taking care of you... If something happens to you... Who will take care of your pokemon?"
And just by saying this, all the trainers who were walking towards forests, mountains and even cities stopped their paths and widened their eyes at this statement... and some of them who were just walking and traveling under the cave backed away, afraid that something terrible would happen if they were careless.
And the person who cringed the most was the Red Cap trainer, who was lost in the middle of the forest, starving and looking at his own Pikachu with worry. He was hungry and thirsty, but he was still trying to find a way back to Veridian City.
"Josh, don't you think you're being..."
"Too harsh? Well, I don't know... you saw Ash leaving town with no food, no water, no tent or sleeping bag, no potion for his pokemon and no food for his own pokemon... Don't you think he's in danger?"
"Yes, and now I'm worried."
Ash, who had been silent, couldn't help but feel even worse knowing that he had made people worried about himself. If he was feeling this way, he could imagine how Professor Oak and his own mother would react if they knew he had been careless and gone into a forest without preparations. He never wanted to punch himself like he did at that moment.
"No one likes to imagine a kid, who is a new trainer, going around the world unprepared... That's why we're on a rescue mission... Trust me, when I find him, he's going to take the biggest beating of his life."
Ash was sad after learning that he wouldn't be saved from a tug of war and possibly, if he told his own mother, he would receive a lot of unanswered yelling. He really messed up.
"Oh, I believe you... But... can you explain to me how that's dangerous?"
"Well, you know... the most important things every trainer should do for themselves, not their pokemon, before leaving town... If I go out of town, what should I take to eat if I can't cook? How will I sleep? Should I take a waterproof tent in case it rains? Is my sleeping bag warm enough for me to sleep even in snowy places? If I get cold, will I have medicine to treat me? What if I hurt myself? Should I bring bandages for myself? What if I fall into a hole? Should I take a rope to help me out of the hole? And how long is the rope I should take? 10 meters? 20 meters? 40 meters?"
"Damn, the kid really worked hard to plan his trip." Bruno says, after coming back with many burnt bruises and some bandages around his face.
Both Lance and Agatha notice the new look of the elite four member and bite their tongue to keep from laughing at him.
"Did you get another beating from Nurse Joy?" asked Agatha, which made Bruno look at her in horror.
"I have no idea what's going on, it seems like everyone is mad at me. I just left Cerulean City and out of nowhere Nurse Joy yelled at me, grabbed a whole team of Pokemon and attacked me. I'm telling you, there's some conspiracy going on here." Bruno was afraid to enter a pokemon center again.
Nurse Joys seemed to have a deep hatred for him, and he had no idea why.
"Well, whatever you did, Bruno, you better apologize to all of them," Lance commented, to which Agatha gave an evil chuckle. While Bruno remained confused, Lance was keen to continue listening to the podcast. "I have to confess that boy is zealous and thinking way ahead of most trainers. It's good that he's thinking about his own survival."
"...Wow, I never thought of that... just focused on bringing the basics since I was with my bike."
"Actually, having a bike was a good idea too, which wouldn't take too long to get you to the next possible town, but without it, you're stuck on that path now."
"Hmmm... makes sense."
"And that's without thinking about other things, like how many changes of clothes will I make during the trip? Should I take a spare if my clothes are destroyed by a water gun, a flamethrower or a lightning strike? And if my clothes get dirty, where will I clean them? And if I get dirty, how will I clean myself? Should I risk taking a bath in the river? Ask my aquatic pokémon to use their water gun while I use the soap? Is that etic?"
"Only if you have your Pokémon's consent. In the case of water pokémon, you should know that they all have a special place to have their water launcher, since they require energy and effort to launch their attack, you must remember that they are living beings like you and me."
"Well said Misty." On the outskirts of Galar, a gym leader was feeding her team of aquatic pokémon. She was listening intently to the conversations that were being broadcast throughout a good portion of Galar. She who was wearing her themed colors of blue, orange, white and turquoise. None other than Nessa, the gym leader of the Hulbury stadium. "All pokemon should be appreciated and asked if they need to help you with survival habits. You have talent, girl."
"Actually, that's a very good and reasonable answer, Misty, how do you know that?"
"Well. I'm a water expert, so I guess I'd better clear up any questions about water pokémon."
"So, you're an expert on water-type pokémon? I'm enjoying this conversation even more." Nessa was getting more and more interested in hearing what the girl who had demonstrated knowledge about water pokemon had said. She could be sure that she could use this conversation to discuss with her colleagues from other gyms to identify and possibly learn more about this expert she claimed to be.
"Well that was good advice too Misty, and to be fair I think from another point of view, in case they want to help you with that, they have to learn to control their water attacks, in case you really want to bathe, learning to launch an attack using minimal effort is quite a challenge. So I hope you have understood this lesson. Anyway, in your curriculum, always have products like potions, antidotes, paralysis cure, or even burn cure in case your pokemon really suffers from the attacks after the battle."
"That's a reasonable thought."
"Not only that, but buy food, a tent, sleeping bags, clothes, rope, and items to help you on a journey. You don't need to burden yourself with many items, but you can share the items with your friends and they will help you make this trip easily."
"That is very good advice, so after that what else do you have?"
"Anyway, we already have the supplies, now what other advice do you have Josh?"
"Well, first and most important. You should always carry a map and compass with you. Or at least talk to the adults or someone who has reliable information about where you are going. Going headlong into a dangerous place without a potion, food, water and no idea where to go? It's not just stubbornness, it's stupidity."
"Hmm, okay, like Ash has been doing this morning. I don't know why, but I've got a bad feeling this won't be the last time he does that."
"You're right, Misty. But let's give him some bone. He might learn his lesson not to be irresponsible. I mean, Pikachu is the most mature among them. I know that having a Pikachu as a moral compass will help him a lot. For example, if he does something stupid. Pikachu can use Thundershock and teach him a lesson."
Ash suddenly felt a chill run down his spine, as he slowly turned his head to his partner who was staring at his trainer with bloodshot eyes, and his cheeks already threatening with some electric sparks.
"Okay Pikachu, I know it was a bad idea, but could you have a little compassion for me? I know it was stupid, Pikachu? Pikachu?" Ash could feel that with every word that came out of his mouth, his pokemon grew even angrier.
"pikaaaaCHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU."
"Did you hear a static sound just now?"
"Yes, but I was too far away to know which direction it was. But I think they're listening to us. So that's good news. We just need to think of a strategy to find them both."
"What I don't know is how to do that Josh."
"Me neither, but the best way we can do is simply keep looking around for him."
"Okay, and what's the next advice, Josh?"
"Well, this is an interesting one... I once told it to two kids who were sponsored by Professor Oak, and I think they took this advice to heart. So here goes: Traveling alone is good for your own meditation, but traveling with friends always makes the trip more fun. Even if you're friends with lots of pokemons. I'm talking about human friends."
"DID YOU HEAR THAT, ERIC? HE WAS TALKING ABOUT US". Stephanie, the first girl to be sponsored by Professor Oak, was excited to have her Charmander sitting next to her, eating the large amount of pokemon food, while her own friend was watching the news on TV, but still listening with great interest to the podcast that was being broadcast through his own pokedex.
"Yes, it looks like he's sharing everything he told us about the trip. Steph, there was news about Team Rocket attacking Viridian City a few hours ago. Do you think that gang was going to try to get our pokemon?" asked Eric as he looked at his own Bulbasaur, who was simply sleeping on the ground. The same peaceful way Eric would like to live.
"Maybe, but I don't care. I can finish them off when they come. Because we, working together, can overcome all the challenges about us. But keep quiet, I want to hear what Mister Josh wants to teach us." Stephanie bounced around happily, but the moment she noticed her pudgy friend was raising an eyebrow at her, she puffed up her cheeks. "What? Don't I have the right to call someone who is older than me a sir and who teaches us many things? He is a gentleman. Now turn off the TV, let's listen to the rest of this pokeleonidas podcast."
"Whatever Steph." Eric simply shrugged, ignoring the tongue out of his mouth she was showing him.
"Really? Does going on a group trip really make a difference?"
"Well, from my childhood, I learned that while it can be interesting for us to go on a trip and help us get stronger and more focused on winning the pokemon league. Having friends to talk to while traveling through the regions always makes the trip more enjoyable. A good friendly conversation can change minds and make the hearts of others at peace... To be honest, going alone to the regions is a bit lonely, I just recommend always having someone to talk to, a good friend, someone to share your experiences with, talking about your day. That will ease your mind and create your own story during the trip."
"Wow, Josh, sniff, sniff, is that how you saw me as we walked towards the forest?"
"Yes. And it was worth it, at least I know how my own journey started. With a fishing rod and some good music. Who knew that combination was what I needed to get a friend and kick some kid's ass?"
"THAT'S NOT FUNNY."
"It's not to him, but come on... You saw his sad face turn to despair when you started hitting him."
"Okay, that was a bit funny."
"I have to find them. Gary must be laughing at me after hearing all this. My life as a pokemon master is ruined... Good job Ash, you screwed up not just once, but twice, and now you'll definitely be a joke whenever you go." Ash whined, while still feeling the sparks of electricity around his burned body. His Pikachu was exhausted after using the last source of energy he had in his little body. And now the pokemon trainer was finally feeling the despair of being lost with no sources, and felt himself being attacked in all sorts of possibilities.
His stomach was hurting, and he desperately needed to find food.
"Prrieeee." Then a small voice was enough to get his attention, in the direction of what would be a small green pokemon, a Caterpie, who ran diagnostics on Ash with his own Pokedex.
"Caterpie: for protection, releases a horrible stench from the antenna on its head to ward off enemies." Ash's pokedex stopped playing streaming the moment he used it to find the little pokemon's diagnosis.
"Well, that's a little pokemon." Ash said until he realized the terrible mistake he had just made. He looked down at his own pokedex which was silent. "Oh no, oh no no no no NO. He stopped playing the voices. What am I going to do? How am I going to find them if I can't identify their own direction?
Ash felt despair sink into his own stomach, as his own Pikachu was more worried than ever, and his own fatigue was attacking the poor pokemon as well.
The rumbling stomach was enough for the trainer to lose the last hope he had... until he saw the same Caterpie, who brought him a small berry for his foot.
"Huh?" Ash looked down at the small green pokémon that seemed to be the first gift of kindness in the terrible day he was having. "You're giving me this?"
"Prieeee." The caterpillar said in a happy tone, which made Ash sniffle happily and hold back tears, and as he picked up the little pokemon giving him what would be a sign of food it was enough for the trainer to already open his mouth and eat half of the little fruit.
"Hmmm, it's sweet, and juicy, here Pikachu, you need to eat that too." Ash even though eating half of it wasn't enough to satisfy even a little bit of his anger, it was enough to make his point about his best friend, which the little yellow pokemon accepted.
"Pika..." Pikachu took a few bites, until the sweet berry was enough to make Pikachu jump in his own seat, and feel a little more energetic. "Pika, Pika PIKA."
"Yeah, it wouldn't be enough, but it was the best we could get for now." Ash said to his own pokémon, before looking at the small caterpillar pokémon. "Thanks again Caterpie."
"Prie, prieee." The caterpillar caught the attention of the trainer and the pokemon and, using his own head, told the trainer to follow him.
"Well, if it's a place where you know where the food is, I'll follow you. What's the worst that can happen inside this forest?" Ash said as he suddenly felt a chill down his spine, and a second later, he felt like it was just the wind, not knowing the fate he had just attempted at that moment.
"Hmm... Still, I don't think that's a good idea. Ash could still be affected by this.
''Probably, but sometimes it's the mistakes that make people grow over time, now with that in mind he'll focus more on buying you a new bike... And we wouldn't have been exposed to this problem if he hadn't gone out of town instead of being with us for a few more days. We were lucky enough to take all the supplies to get through the forest and on to the next town without any problems, but I really wanted to know a lot more about the town and took the opportunity to stay a bit longer."
"Well, you're right, but look on the bright side of this, we'll be back in Veridian in a few months."
"Yes, until then I need to train my pokemon in that few months, I can't dismiss the opportunity I have after today. And with these two new pokemon I got in the last hour, it will be enough to form a good team."
"Wait, he already captured two more pokemon in one hour? Which pokemon did he get it?" Professor Oak asked as he already can see Josh with 5 pokemon already, and one more would make his entire team full, so it would be necessary for him to prepare a reserved area for Josh's pokemon the moment he decided to transfer them to Professor Oak's property.
"A team of 5 pokemon in 2 days? That boy must be in too much of a hurry to have a full team to start his journey." Delia commented as she watched through the stream that although Josh had commented on his catches, he actually seemed very confident with his goal.
"Yeah, but did you really need to catch 2 insect type pokemon?"
"Hey, what's wrong with having insect-type pokemon?" From far away, a gym leader with curly hair and greenish clothes was painting one of his pictures, however, the small comment made him stop painting and turn his head to the direction where the sound was being transmitted from through his gym leader registration license.
"Look Misty, it's just your bug phobia speaking for you. You need to keep calm and remember what I told you. Respect them, and they will respect you, but keep a safe distance from them."
"Ohh, so she's afraid of insect-type pokemon. That's a shame." The artist commented as he sighed, he couldn't condemn a girl who was afraid of insect, sometimes phobia makes people act ignorant. However he couldn't help but smile at the coach's response that he is supporting both sides.
"Okay, okay... stay calm Misty... Okay, I hope we find Ash's soon, and then we get out of here as quickly as possible."
"Everything has its time Misty, but you're right. ASH WHERE ARE YOU?"
"ASH. WE'RE HERE. WHERE ARE YOU?"
"I don't think it's working out, let's stop yelling and save our voice to wait for some response from him."
"That would be a good decision. Now, to have our own way of going after Ash, we have to find a plausible way to think of how to get him to come our way."
"That's going to be difficult. He may be listening to us, but we have no way of getting a response from him."
"And since we're in the middle of a dense forest with trees that can cover the sky, we can't get a signal if Pikachu uses Lightning as a way to get attention, so if you're listening to me, Pikachu, don't waste your energy."
"Maybe we could get Ditto to use that noisy attack that could get attention. "
"It wouldn't work because we're in a forest full of bug pokemon, do you want them to get all mad at you?"
"Shhhhh, please don't even dream to tell me that. I would have nightmares about crossing into one."
"Yeah. That would be a bad idea. In the middle of a forest, any loud noise could not only not drive the pokemon away, but could also attract the attention of several of them towards you." Norman who was following the stream was squinting his eyes as he could see that his children were worried about the lost trainers in the middle of the forest. While he could understand that this would be a difficult stage for one of them to survive. He just hoped that they would find the lost trainer.
Everywhere the broadcast was going for some reason in the background of the recording was being heard what would be a buzzing sound. And a question was being thought by all the listeners.
"Wait... what is this noise?"
"I don't know it's becoming louder."
"It's almost like... oh no... Misty, I have a bad feeling about this, tell which pokemon is your strongest?"
"It's my Starmie why?"
"Misty I need you take it out, and when you do it close your eyes."
"Why? And why are you taking your backpack out. What are you looking for?"
"JUST DO IT WOMAN. WE DON'T HAVE TIME."
The shout given by the podcast owner surprised the audience who seemed to jump from their positions.
"I wonder what happened?" Bruno asked as he looked at his fellow members of the elite four who also seemed to have a sense of something was about to happen.
"He seems to be in panic mode. Something bad must be about to happen." Lance squinted his eyes sharply as his mind worked at high speed to determine what could have been the cause of all the danger.
"Okay, Starmie, come out."
"Starmie."
"Where is it? Where is it? AHA, I FOUND IT. I hear them coming."
"Hearing who?"
"Wait a minute. Is that what I think it is?" Somewhere in Azalea Town. A young boy with girlish purple hair and purple eyes (which used to appear blue-gray and brown). He wears a green shirt and has green shorts with a light green collar (formerly white), suspended with a brown belt (formerly black) and white socks accompanied by brown shoes. In his new design he has a yellow scarf attached to his collar. Bugsy was the name of the insect-like gym owner and could tell by the sound what the problem was. "HOW MANY OF THEM ARE COMING?"
"CLOSE YOUR EYES MISTY, YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE THAT."
"OKAY OKAY."
"I hope this works, I really hope this works... Starmie, please, I'm getting my hopes up for you. Stop."
"ZZZZZZZZZZ."
"JOSH, PLEASE TELL ME I'M NOT LISTENING..."
"DON'T OPEN YOUR EYES MISTY. THEY ARE COMMING."
"AHHHHHHHHHH."
"What's going on teacher?" Delia's eyes went wide, while the teacher's face was pale and beaded with sweat.
"I think you two are being attacked by a swarm." Professor Oak replied as he could understand from the sound what kind of pokemon would make buzzing sounds like that. But what intrigued Professor Oak the most was... "Why did the group of Beedrils decide to attack them?"
"Is that it? Sugar bucket dammit! Of course it is him... Misty, Ash is here... and for the love of everything don't open your eyes."
"Dammit Ash." Professor Oak facepalmed himself as he could understand why Joshua seemed to be so annoyed.
"Wait, what did Ash do?" Delia stared until she realized from the Professor's serious face that she realized what might have happened. And having no choice but to sigh. "He's the one who brought the swarm correct?"
Professor Oak nodded as Delia sighed and prayed for the safety of them all, though a good portion of her will have a serious talk with her son when they are safe and sound in the next town. Until then, she can't help but worry about him.
"THEY ARE COMMING. TAKE COVER."
"Stand still Misty, here they come."
"ZZZZZZZZZ..."
"Please...please… wait...no way...it worked...Hahaha...it worked..."
"What worked?" It was a question that many of the listeners wondered, when they could still hear the buzzing of the insect-like pokemon, but the panic in his voice had been replaced by a sound of relief and laughter.
"Wait... how are they not coming towards us?"
"What's going on?"
"Misty, for your sanity and sake don't open your eyes... Ash just brought a swarm of Beedrils towards us."
"HE DID WHAT?" Not only some of the insect-like gym leaders but even the most amateur of trainers cried out in alarm noticing how seriously and dangerously Ash had caused trouble in the middle of the broadcast.
"HE DID WHAT?"
"Don't open your eyes yet... I can't believe it but I managed to make Starmie stop them and not make them not come towards us."
"What? How?"
"Repel, this is a good item I was sure to buy on Veridian city because we never know when we would need to protect ourselves during the night... But I did a trick which me and most of my friends used into our time together. Yan (Jan) named it the Repel Clutch."
The name of the tactic used not only made the group of trainers, but also experts like teachers and gym leaders lean in when they heard the name that seemed not only strange, but interesting nonetheless.
"Repel Clutch?"
"Yep, usually my friends used this trick to find and capture specific type of pokemon. But I think this not matter now, there is another way of using this trick which I was glad that it worked. I'm so glad that it worked on Starmie."
"What does it have to do with him?"
"Well to use the repel effectively, you must make your strongest pokemon appear... And then you uses the repel on it."
"WAIT A MINUTE, YOU CAN DO THAT?" Bruno shouted as he looked at his group of friends from the elite 4 who stared at him curiously.
"What?" Lance asked as in his mind he seemed to understand what the strategy behind the repel would be.
"He is saying that by using the repel on the strongest or weakest pokemon he will be able to repel pokemon weaker than his, but he is using this type of tactic to capture what would be in specific a pokemon of the same strength or even stronger than his. So that he has a more direct option to capture the pokemon he wants." Bruno never imagined that what would be an amateur trainer would have demonstrated what would be a great experience in full transmission, in which several trainers could learn from this new information.
Agatha closed her eyes and nodded in approval.
"It looks like this duo has a lot of potential. However, it seems to me that this new boy, Ash, is going to be in big trouble." Although Agatha is slightly worried about the group of children who are in the middle of a journey. She couldn't help but wonder what the main speaker will do with the rebellious child.
"What?"
"Exactly, the trick is... the stronger your pokemon, the better. Because when you use repel on it... Every pokemon who individually is weaker than it will be wary and avoid battle in all cousts... which in the results... You can open your eyes now Misty."
"Are you sure?"
"You can trust me..."
"Oh... ahhhhh... gulp... there is so many circling around us..."
"Yeah, and I think it's the best if we go to another direction and avoid eye contact with them. Let's just ran towards East and leave them alone."
"Good idea." Bugsy said as he looked closely at his pokemons, and he could see that his own Beedril was in a state of frenzy and about to want to attack someone. "The best way is to get out as quickly as possible and don't mess with them anymore as they are still completely enraged. Get out of there now."
And through running footsteps being heard over the broadcast, the group of listeners were anxious as they could hear the sound of the buzzing diminishing with each passing minute.
"I think we lost them... Well guys, I would like to talk more or even give more topics for us to accomplish in the middle of this podcast, but I don't have the strength anymore, and I think it's better for us to hide from the Beedrils for a while until they calm down. So I would like to thank you all. A shout out to Yan for your Repel Clutch strategy, we survived because of you Yan. Keep rocking."
"Yes, thank you very much Yan. I never thought I'd get too scared, but I hope next time we don't have a terrible disagreement like that."
"Hey, I..."
"Keep quiet Ash."
"OUCH."
"Well folks, I need to lecture this young trainer... it was a great show, if you enjoyed it, you can save today's episode by clicking the button by the Rotom logo. Wishing you a Good Time and a Good Bye." After a few seconds while the guys were thinking the podcast was over, one last thing could be heard through everyone's transmitters. "ARE YOU INSANE ASH?! YOU COULD HAVE KI..."
The scream of what could be one of the most controlled people was what startled all the listeners into jumping. A second and the transmission was cut off many could hear the sermon held by the trainer who had done his best to educate all the young students, causing many of the children to be startled by the change in voice of the person on the radio.
"And because of that children. It's good to be careful not to bring danger to any of the adventurers when they are in the middle of their journey. I hope this Ash has taught you all, the things you should never do when you start a journey." The teacher who was lecturing in Viridian pointed at the transmitter while all the students had written down all the tips and advice in their notebooks.
"Yes teacher." All the students agreed that they would not only follow the advice wholeheartedly but avoid making the same mistakes as this trainer who will possibly become an example in which many will try to avoid in the future.
Somehow the future generation of trainers is focused on being even better than the current generation.
