Enya's POV

Jade grabbed the tablecloth and she hurried back to my side. Haiku was happily eating away until Jade called his name. The bull stopped eating and noticed the red tablecloth in her hands. Seeing he was about to charge Jade ran for it and Haiku was hot on her tail.

She then stopped but Haiku didn't stop his charge. I burst out laughing as the Monkey King was sent flying into the air and then he landed upside down in the sand. Only his feet remained in the air and Haiku snorted before seeing Jade had the tablecloth still. After pawing the ground Haiku charged again and Jade threw the tablecloth onto the bull. A few seconds later a bunch of food and drink, and even the piano was tossed into the air and I chose that moment to grab a bowl of punch.

I hurried to Jackie and Uncle and used the punch to put the fire out. I then summoned my claws and used them to undo Uncle and Jackie's bindings. However, I soon noticed Jade was being cornered by the Monkey King and a snarl escaped my lips. I hauled ass to where the preteen was and put myself between her and Sawdust.

"Move it girly!" the Monkey King demanded.

Haiku suddenly changed from a monkey into a tiger and jumped ahead so he was protecting me and Jade. The crowd behind us applauded and that annoyed the Monkey King. But he countered by using a changing screen and then emerged a minute later in a horse costume. I facepalmed and the sound of a cricket was heard. The Monkey King looked at said cricket below him and was about to stomp on it, but the cricket jumped briefly onto the wooden nuisance, and then a flash of blue light later Haiku was back in my arms.

Just as Uncle and Jackie rejoined us Haiku was suddenly snatched out of my grasp by that bastard jokester!

"Sorry gang but before I destroy you all, I'm going to destroy the thing you love most!"

The puppet then summoned a surfboard and was soon on the ocean making his getaway. Jackie tried to get Haiku back but the bastard puppet prevailed and as Jackie was brought back to the shore from riding a wave, we saw the Monkey King heading to Kilauea Volcano.

Not caring whether anyone was watching I shifted from human to dragon. I then lowered myself so Jackie, Jade, and Uncle could get onto my back. Once they did I opened my wings and took flight. The air around the volcano darkened as we approached Kilauea.

We found the Monkey King lowering a caged Haiku closer to a pool of lava. His eyes then went wide when he saw me land and I let the Chans slide off from my back.

"A dragon shifter! Well damn wasn't expecting that!"

I growled at the puppet's remark while Jade said.

"We want our monkey, back, monkey"

Jackie suddenly shot me a wink before exchanging dialogue with the annoying puppet. I used that moment to use my power of Invisibility and while invisible I reverted to human form. I then summoned my wings again and flew to where Haiku was. I grabbed the cage and soon I landed on the opposite side of the lava pool.

"Hey little guy sorry we're late," I told Haiku as I let him out of the cage. Haiku responded with a happy squeak.

I then swore when I saw Daolon Wong had arrived and he mistook the Monkey King as the Noble Monkey. The puppet told the dark chi wizard off while the Chans rejoined me. During their little brawl, the Monkey King threw a pie into Daolon Wong's face while in turn the puppet was sent flying by a blast of dark magic.

The dark chi wizard saw us trying to get away but soon he used his magic to grab hold of us and soon we were stuck in the volcano including Haiku. But the Monkey King wasn't done and again he fussed at Daolon Wong for messing things up. The dark chi wizard then used his magic to turn the Monkey King back into a puppet.

"Good riddance" I muttered.

Daolon Wong then turned us and he was about to get the power of shape-shifting when the darkened lava beneath us began to move. Haiku had shifted into an elephant and all four of us were on his back. The volcano began to shake and it was realized the last ingredient to the Monkey King's plan to have Kilaeau blow up was about to happen. A few seconds later said eruption happened and Haiku began to move just as the lava was coming our way. The blast had sent Daolon Wong flying. We all prepared to get scorched but nothing happened when said lava hit us.

It was freaking Cherry Gelatin!

Haiku transformed back into his monkey form and took a large bite out of the gelatin. I grabbed the Noble Monkey and shared a snuggle with him. He was just so damn cute.

Back in San Francisco

Still Enya's POV

"Slow down Little Fire" Shen suggested as I greedily devoured the soup Kumori had just given me. I shot my mate a glare and Kumori snorted. Shen held his hands up in surrender before sitting beside me on the couch.

The soup had meat in it and it was delicious. When I first saw my sister-in-law I almost had a heart attack. But nonetheless, it was good to have her back.

"Where will you stay?" I asked Kumori while finishing another bite.

"At the Fish Cannery, I liked it and now that those fools from the Dark Hand are gone, it will serve me as a residence"

"Just be careful sister, your magic here is limited"

"You always fret over me, little brother"

Shendu sighed seeing he was being teased.

"That was good" I complimented Kumori as I finished the soup up.

"Your children are mostly dragon and our kind feeds on meat, also if you wait a moment I'll be able to tell how far along you are"

The Demon Sorceress then closed her eyes in concentration and she was quiet for a few minutes before she opened her eyes again.

"You are two months along and the children are forming as they should be"

Shendu hissed in pleasure.

Kumori then said she was tired and we both exchanged a hug before Shen walked her to the door.

"Was it possible I was already pregnant before the Book of Ages?"

"I was thinking the same thing" Shen answered.

Two months ago he had been in Valmont's body.

"I see concern in your eyes Little Fire what troubles you?"

"You were only a spirit two months ago"

"True but when I was in control of that fool, it was my DNA and essence that conceived our children, trust me Little Fire if our children weren't mine I wouldn't be able to sense them"

The Fire Demon sat down next to me and soon I was in his lap.

"They also carry my scent Enya which also means I am their father"

"You have given up a lot for me Shen"

"You and the children are all that matter Enya"

That got me to shed some tears and Shendu wiped them away. Damn pregnancy hormones!

I grabbed Shendu and kissed him hard. In turn, he picked me up into his arms bridal style and carried me to our bedroom. No sooner had Shen put me on the bed I fell asleep and Shendu held me the entire time as I slept.
