Hey everyone! Welcome back to the story! This will be the last chapter of the story for the month, and I hope it'll be an interesting way to end the month. There's going to be some interesting developments that pop up here.

With all of that said, let's get on with the chapter. I don't own Naruto or Dragon Ball in any capacity. I do own original characters, concepts, and ideas unless stated otherwise.

Mt. Paozu, Time Branch 147

Three days had passed since Naruto and Goku attempted to fight the monster that had plagued Goku's clan for centuries. Neither had expected it to be Goku himself that was the monster, but they didn't let it bog them down. With the news that it could be controlled being shared by Kurama, and a change into a pair of Naruto's clothes for the time being, Goku set out to make that his primary focus for the rest of their time together. Knowing that he couldn't risk the others getting hurt, he decided to take up meditation. It was said to be able to help balance the soul and calm the mind, so he figured that would be a good place to start when it came to controlling the Great Ape.

He found that he had good results when meditating at night under the moon, feeling as if the cool air of the night coursed through his entire being. It was like the heavenly body itself spoke to his soul, beckoning him to transform. He would sometimes feel the familiar pull from when he first became the beast, only to stop himself before he could. It was an interesting experience to say the least. Every moment he was able to resist the primal urge, the more control he felt he had.

Still, it was only slight victories he was getting as Naruto would have to knock him out whenever he began growling. Today he decided to shelf that in order to help Naruto work on his taijutsu skills. He and the blonde were currently engaged in a fight reminiscent of their first match, only this time it was understood as a way to practice the use of their respective styles. Naruto smirked as he kicked Goku in the face, quickly moving at high speed to get around him. The saiyan was prepared to counter this assault, only to gasp as he felt a squeeze on his tail.

"Ha!" cried Naruto. "Gotcha!" Goku grumbled as he felt his body freeze up from the pressure. The Jinchuriki had found out yesterday about the weakness of every untrained Saiyan, their extremely sensitive tail. All it took was one squeeze to stop the match entirely, a fact that made Goku groan.

"No fair!" cried the monkey boy. "You promised that you wouldn't do that anymore!" Naruto chuckled as he let go of his friend's tail.

"Don't blame me. You're the one who needs to be more aware of where it is in a fight. Be happy that I'm not an enemy shinobi who'd kill you with this opportunity. Either keep it wrapped or find a way to get rid of the weakness." Goku harrumphed as he crossed his arms, clearly annoyed by the event even if he couldn't deny the truth to his friend's words.

They soon heard clapping, causing them to look towards the point of origin. Their eyes widened as they saw Fu standing with his back against a tree. Their expressions remained the same.

"Hey guys." greeted Fu. "How has training been? I heard from the old man that you guys were training really hard out here." The boys looked at each other as they frowned, nodding their heads. They suddenly leapt at Fu, their fists reared back.

"Where the heck have you been!?" cried the boys. Fu quickly had to dodge as the duo punched the tree that he was standing in front of. They then both began tree walking as they ran after the purple man. He reached the top, waiting for the boys to come through the foliage. He suddenly turned around, blocking a kick from Goku.

"You left me here without my ninja tools and extra clothes!" scolded the saiyan. "I had to borrow a pair of Naruto's clothes!" Fu chuckled as he tilted his head.

"For the record, it was survival training." stated the false demon. "I didn't tell you to keep a bag or sealing scroll on you." Goku suddenly turned around midair as he kicked Fu over towards another tree. He stopped just short of hitting the target destination, only for Naruto to jump out from the top. The man turned around just in time as his blonde nephew fell towards him with his fist reared back.

"And you left when I just mastered walking on water!" shouted Naruto. He landed on Fu's shoulders, ready to hit him over the head when he noticed something. Goku gave him a deadpanned look, his arms crossed. "What? I said walking, not running."

Fu took this opportunity to throw the blonde at Goku, only for him to dissipate. Fu looked around frantically, only to feel hands grab at his ankles. He was suddenly slung downward by a chain of Naruto clones, rapidly approaching the ground. He suddenly caught himself by his hands and kicked to fling the small army at Goku. The Saiyan sighed as he slumped forwards.

"Aw crap." The saiyan was suddenly dogpiled by the clones, the entities dissipating as the whole group crashed into the ground. The real Goku and Naruto groaned as they sat up, Fu landing before them.

"Tree walking, Shadow Clones, and hiding your energy if the reason I didn't sense the other clones is anything to go by." listed the purple man. "It's safe to assume that you guys blew through my schedule as a form of petty revenge. I admire the work ethic to say the least." The kids looked away from him as they crossed their arms. It was clear that they didn't want to talk.

Fu sighed as he nodded his head. "I know you're upset. I should have told you from the get-go that this would be how the training trip would go and I should have stayed around long enough to introduce you two. How about we talk all about it over some nice fresh Ichiraku ramen? Yota's been very excited to meet you, Naruto-kun."

The duo looked towards each other, this time looking rather conflicted. On one hand they wanted to chew him out for being gone for almost a month. On the other hand... ramen. Ramen didn't fix everything, but it would certainly be a good start. The duo smirked as they nodded their heads.

"Deal!" cried the boys. Fu chuckled as he shook his head, having known this would be the outcome. He led them to where his house usually rested, opening the door for them. Before they could even step inside, Goku was suddenly tackled to the ground. The saiyan smiled as a familiar pale face grinned back at him.

"Goku Nii-san!" cried Yota. "I missed you!" Goku grinned as he tilted his head.

"Good to see ya too, Yota-kun!" greeted the monkey boy. "I missed you too! Um… can you get off me? Uncle Fu promised us ramen." The weather boy stood up quickly, smacking his lips at the idea of food.

"Yum! Sounds delicious!" Goku stood up as well, patting himself off. His smile turned to a frown as he suddenly noticed something. He waved his hand from his forehead to Yota's measuring the difference between their heights.

"Hang on… You're as tall as me now!" Yota put his hands on his hips as he laughed towards the sky with his eyes closed.

"I hit a growth spurt! Kaa-san said it's because I started eating my greens." Yota rubbed his nose as he chuckled, unaware of how his audience was reacting to the news. A particular word the weather boy had said left both Goku and Naruto confused. They turned their attention towards Fu, their brows raised.

"Kaa-san?" questioned both boys. Yota looked between them, confused by their confusion. Fu chuckled awkwardly as he held his hands behind his back.

"Well, I was gonna surprise ya when we got inside but that's kinda off the table." admitted the purple man. "I sorta got married while you were away." Both saiyan and Jinchuriki blinked as they processed this information. Kurama growled as he heard what he could only describe as static running through Naruto's head. He mentally counted down with three of his tails, correctly guessing when the boys would get up in Fu's face.

"MARRIED!?" Understandably, both boys were saltier than ever before. Not only had their uncle leave them together for weeks, but he went and got married without them there to see it. They were clearly livid as they sat at the kitchen table, Yota still confused by the looks on their faces. Fu looked back at the duo with an apologetic look as he continued to work on the promised ramen.

"I'm sorry you guys missed the wedding, but we really couldn't wait. Certain laws that I fell under made it to where if we didn't get married as soon as possible, my clan would be expelled from Konoha. If we could have waited, I would have happily had you guys by my side that day." Goku and Naruto looked towards each other again, their frowns softening as if they were having a mental conversation. Naruto sighed as he leaned back in his chair.

"Chalk that up to another thing you never told us." grumbled the blonde. "Didn't tell me about the house until we were eating in it, never told me you had another nephew you visit, never told Goku-san about how he becomes a giant were-monkey, and you never told me Ichiraku ramen is a restaurant." Fu dropped the ladle he was stirring the ramen noodles with, slowly turning towards the boys.

"Say that again. What was that about a were-monkey?" Goku looked towards his uncle as he crossed his arms.

"You and Grandpa Hiruzen never told me that I was the current monster of the Sarutobi clan." growled the saiyan. "I had to find out a few nights ago." Fu furrowed his brow, the seriousness in his face showing that he wasn't pleased. Before he could say anything, footsteps could be heard from the living room. Anko walked into the kitchen, wearing her kimono as she shared Goku's frown.

"Sounds like all of you have explaining to do." stated the snake woman. She looked towards Goku and Naruto, noticing their shocked looks as she smiled. "Goku, Naruto. It's nice to meet you both."

Anko bowed respectfully to the boys. "I'm Anko Mitarashi-Nisekuma. I've heard a lot about you. It sounds like you have quite the tale to tell yourselves." Both saiyan and Jinchuriki stood up as they reciprocated the woman's bow.

"The pleasure is ours." greeted Naruto. "Please take care of our stupid uncle." Fu crossed his arms childishly as Anko chuckled and Yota tried not to laugh.

"I am not stupid." grumbled the purple man. He sniffed the air, quickly realizing that something was starting to burn. "THE RAMEN!" Goku and Naruto looked at him like he committed a heinous crime as he got back to work on the noodles. Thankfully his sigh of relief calmed them down.

Fu turned off the stove eye as he turned back towards the others. "That was a close call. Let's all calm down and talk this out over some ramen. The atmosphere here is getting way too tense." The group looked at each other, nodding in acceptance.

Goku and Naruto did their best to explain everything that happened over their time together. Fu took a spit take when he heard about the founder of the Sarutobi clan from Naruto. That meant there was a Saiyan in the shinobi world before Goku even got there. There weren't supposed to be any Saiyans in this branch of time, however. That would mean the breakage Shenron was sensing might have been caused by the person he knew was causing trouble currently.

Realizing that he was being stared at, Fu quickly wiped his mouth. "So let me get this straight. You trained past my schedule because you were mad at me. This included Goku learning tree walking while Naruto learned the Shadow Clone Jutsu." Goku nodded his head in response.

"Yep." answered the monkey boy. "You should see how many he can make without being winded!" Anko cleared her throat as she leveled a small frown towards Goku.

"It's normally considered treason to teach secret techniques from the village to outsiders." reminded the snake woman. Goku paled as he realized how right she was. He was about to argue his case, only for the woman to smile as she rubbed his head. "Of course, I think it'll be fine as long as you don't share it with anyone else." The saiyan boy sighed in relief as Fu cleared his throat.

"Moving on, you boys then decided to fight the Oozaru and learned that Goku is the Oozaru." stated the purple man. "Putting yourselves and Gohan-san in mortal danger." Naruto frowned as he glared at his uncle.

"Hey!" cried the Jinchuriki. "We kicked Goku's giant hairy butt… no offense Goku-san." This time it was Goku's turn to grumble as he crossed his arms. "Regardless, if you people told him about this Osaro or whatever you called it, we wouldn't have been in that situation." Fu shook his head in denial.

"The Oozaru would likely be a clan secret. If I were to tell him without the evidence being obvious, it's likely that I would have been dead on the spot. Hiruzen is many things, but forgiving is not usually one of them." Naruto looked down as he thought over what he heard. Goku crossed his arms as he looked towards his uncle.

"Well now that I know, my focus during training is going straight towards controlling it." stated the monkey boy. "I don't care how long it takes. The fox said my ancestor could control it, so that means I can too. Just like my chakra and my body, it'll just take some kind of training." Fu chuckled as he shook his head, a smile starting to form on his face.

"I should've known you'd say that. Well you'll definitely have time when we get you back to Konoha, other than the academy of course." Both boys went silent again before sending wide eyes towards their uncle.

"What!?" shouted both boys. Fu rubbed his finger in his left ear, starting to become annoyed by all of the yelling. Goku slammed his hands onto the table, a pleading look on his face.

"But I just got here three weeks ago!" argued Goku. "Can't I stay just a bit longer?" Fu chuckled nervously as he rubbed the back of his head, earning a frown from Naruto.

"I know that laugh." stated the blonde. "What the heck did you do?" Yota sat up a bit in his seat as he leaned forwards a bit.

"Three weeks?" questioned the weather boy. "You've been gone almost a year, Goku-nii. A Hyuga girl Tou-san teaches even asked where you were six months ago." Both nephews looked to Fu, realizing that he had left out an important detail. The purple man sighed once again as he shook his head.

"Here's the thing." stated Fu. "I used a space time jutsu to travel between locations. Some locations' time doesn't change at all when traveling to them. Others…" Naruto suddenly leapt to stand in his chair as he pointed towards Fu.

"Are you insane!?" shouted the boy. "What you're saying is that a week here means a year in Konoha!?" Goku's eyes widened, shocked by this news. Fu held up his hands in a defensive manner.

"Chill sport. I'm working on the seal to where it won't take that long next time. Anyway, Goku needs to return now or else he'll miss out on becoming a shinobi with all of his friends." Goku looked at his uncle in shock. It's really been a year back home?

That meant so many things could have changed. Would Hinata not want to be his friend anymore since he wasn't there to train with her for an entire year? Anko bopped Fu lightly on the arm, causing him to cry out in shock.

"You probably should have mentioned it beforehand." scolded the woman. She then smiled as she rubbed Goku's head. "Don't worry, Goku-kun. Your little girlfriend has been asking about you ever since we told her you were okay." Goku smiled at Anko's words, only to blush as he recognized what she just said.

"G…girlfriend!?" questioned the Saiyan. "We're not… I mean… I don't…" Both Naruto and Yota laughed at Goku while Fu sent a smile his way.

"Goku's got a girlfriend~!" cried both Naruto and Yota. They repeated this song several times as they jumped out of their seats, running to the living room. Goku jumped out of his own chair as he chased off after them.

"SHE'S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND! STOP IT!" Fu smirked at Anko, knowing that she did that on purpose. The woman ignored the look as she happily took another bite of her ramen. She was going to have fun being an aunt.

Soon the meal drew to a close as the group cleaned up their dishes. Goku was glad to be given a new set of Fu's school gi as he stretched a bit. It took a while for Yota and Naruto to stop teasing him about Hinata, though now the idea of him being with the Hyuga girl that way would not leave his head. It made his chest beat fast whenever he'd think about it. Thankfully the time came to leave, making him more remorseful than embarrassed.

Goku smiled sadly as he stood in front of Naruto. "It was fun getting to train with you, Naruto-san. You've got a lot of heart and the strength to back it up. Keep working hard and you'll probably be the strongest guy here." The blonde grinned as he rubbed the back of his head.

"I'll definitely work harder then." stated Naruto. "I'll try to visit some time, and it won't be through space time jutsu. We'll actually get to spend a long time together without missing so much." Goku smirked at this promise. He held up a fist in the ready position.

"You better be ready for an all-out spar when you do. I won't hold back." Naruto returned his smirk as he readied his own fist. They fist bumped, making the atmosphere around them feel more electrified. They let their arms drop to their sides as Fu opened the door to his house.

"Come on Goku!" called Fu. "You wouldn't wanna keep Lee waiting! He really wants to show you the results of his training in your absence!" Goku grinned at the promise of seeing Lee again. He looked back at his uncle, displaying this expression to him.

"Coming!" The boy quickly ran towards the building, pushing past Fu as he closed the door. Naruto watched as the house emitted a bright light, forcing him to shield his eyes. By the time he opened them again, there was no trace of the magic house. He ran back towards the hut to check on his grandfather, mentally preparing himself for the day that he will meet Sarutobi Goku again.

Time Branch 149, Fu's House, Konohagakure

Fu's house popped into existence in the same spot as usual, the citizens being used to it at this point. Fu quickly exited the house, with a curious Goku in tow. Anko decided to stay behind with Yota, wanting to work with him on some of his homework from the academy. A few civilians seemed surprised to see Goku again, some of them waving at him. He waved back as he continued on his way.

They soon reached their destination, the Hokage Tower. The duo made their way inside, reaching the door to Itachi's office. Fu knocked on the door, waiting for a response.

"Enter." commanded a familiar voice. The duo entered the room to find Itachi sitting at his desk, a small stack of paperwork in front of him and another larger one to his side. It appeared that he was at this for a while, possibly using his Sharingan to read through it faster. He looked up from his work as he deactivated the power, smiling at the duo. Goku grinned as he waved at the man with a grin.

"Hey Itachi-nii!" cheered the saiyan. "I'm back!" The new Uchiha clan head nodded in response to the announcement.

"I can see that, Goku-kun. It is good to see that you survived your impromptu survival training. It was a risk losing you for a year's time in return for a month's worth of training, but your uncle assures me that it will be worth it. Of course, that will be determined by your efforts moving forward." Fu grinned as he nodded his head.

"And he will put in as much effort as necessary to prove himself." promised the purple man. "Anywho, we need to get Goku re-enrolled at the academy." Goku smirked as he nodded his head vigorously.

"I can't wait to see Lee again." said Goku. "It'll be nice to sit beside him and go through class together." Itachi looked at Fu, earning a head shake before returning his attention to Goku.

"I apologize, Goku-kun, but I'm afraid you will not be seeing Lee in the academy." Goku felt a pit form in his stomach at that comment. He held out both of his hands as he tried to make sense of the news.

"But why!? I'm not being held back, am I? I went on a super special training mission! You can't hold me responsible if I missed something." Itachi nodded his head in understanding.

"You are correct on that front, Goku-kun. You see, Lee has already been assigned to a team. He has officially joined Team 3 alongside Neji Hyuga and Tenten. In fact, you will be the only returning student from your year." Goku couldn't find the words to say as he looked down.

He had been gone so long that not only had he missed graduation, but he no longer had any of his old classmates to work with. Now he was basically held back for an entire year. Noticing the boy's sorrow, Itachi let loose one of his rare smirks. "Of course, that does put you in the same class as Sasuke-kun." Goku's eyes widened as he suddenly grinned.

"I'm in the same class as Sasuke! I get to help him grow stronger again!" Fu grinned as he nodded his head.

"Yup!" stated the purple man. "You also have Hinata in class with you. You'll have to come by the dojo tomorrow and say hi. She'll definitely be happy to see you." Goku blushed a bit as he tapped his fingers together, only to stop as Itachi leaned forwards.

"As long as we are on the subject of your class, Goku, I have a request for you." informed the Hokage. The saiyan looked towards the village leader, a confused look on his face. "Sasuke-kun has been having a hard time dealing with Father's betrayal. He locks himself up in his room, never coming out except to acquire food and train. I'm worried that he will soon go down a darker path."

Goku frowned, not liking the sound of this at all. "I would like… no. I need you to speak with him on the matter. He puts me on too high of a pedestal to show any insecurity to me. You, however, have brought about a fighting spirit in him. Please, Goku-san, I need you to bring Sasuke back to his senses before he ends up getting himself killed." The monkey boy immediately nodded his head in response.

"You can count on me, Hokage-sama." acknowledged Goku. "I'll be the best friend Sasuke needs." Itachi smirked again as he nodded his head. Goku was soon returned to his home by Fu, the man needing to set up for training tomorrow. He wanted to ask Hiruzen about the Oozaru, but the old man had apparently fallen asleep by the time he returned.

Knowing that nothing could wake up his grandfather at this point, Goku decided to head to sleep. Throughout the night, he kept having dreams about the red planet from his mindscape. These were accompanied by flashes of the Oozaru and the damage he did to Naruto's home mountain. The amount of sweat he produced soaked his sheets. Thankfully he was able to get a full rest.

The next day he decided to take up Fu's offer to swing by the dojo. It was mainly to see if Lee was still there and definitely NOT because he wanted to see if Hinata changed any. He would deny the possibility to anyone that asked him. He walked up to the door of his uncle's house, flaring his energy. Fu soon answered the door, a smile on his face as several of his students looked surprised in the background.

"Thanks for the surprise test Goku." greeted the purple man. "Now I know who's been taking their energy training seriously." Goku smirked as he walked into the building.

"No problem Uncle Fu." replied Goku. "I thought I'd stop by and see how all of the training is going. I was also wondering if Lee was here. I never got to see him yesterday." Fu shook his head in denial.

"Sorry, but he and his team are off on a C-rank mission. Anko's out shopping while Yota's at the academy. As far as family goes, it's just you and me right now." Goku sighed as he crossed his arms once again. He felt like he was missing everyone right now.

Seeing his nephew's disappointment, Fu knew exactly how to cheer him up. "You came at the perfect time. I need to show an example of what my training can do for those who take it seriously. Would you mind having a match with my top student?"

Goku grinned from ear to ear at the promise of a good fight. If this student was his finest, then he or she should be really strong. The saiyan pounded his fists together as he nodded his head.

"I'd love to. I've been itching for a fight!" Goku earned a nod from his uncle in response.

"Alright then. Head to the mat and I'll get her." Goku quickly took off his shoes as he ran for the dojo's mat. He began to stretch in preparation for whoever it is he was going to be testing today. He looked up with a big grin on his face, only to jerk back a bit as his heart began to beat quickly.

Standing before him was a girl with long, flowing black hair that reached down to her shoulders. She was wearing the school uniform as she walked onto the mat. She had a confident look on her face as she turned to look at him, her eyes revealing her status as a Hyuga. The minute the girl laid eyes upon him, her composure vanished as she blushed

"G...Goku-kun?" questioned the Hyuga. "Is that you?" Goku's eyes widened as he recognized her voice immediately.

"Hinata?" asked Goku. She nodded her head, causing his characteristic grin to appear. "Wow! I didn't recognize you with the longer hair." Hinata looked at him as she pushed her hair back, playing with it a bit.

"Really? Is it bad? I can cut it if you…" Goku chuckled a bit as he shook his head. Hinata felt a little confused at first, only for him to send her a thumbs up.

"Nah! You look pretty!" Hinata's face went red as a tomato, not expecting such forwardness. Realizing what he just said, Goku quickly mirrored her blush. "Uh... I mean... what I meant was..." The Hyuga girl smiled as she removed her hand from her hair.

"Thank you. I w…was hoping you'd like it." Goku sounded relieved as he nodded his head. The fact that she did it for him resonated with his mind, making him feel a bit of pride. Suddenly, someone wrapped an arm around Hinata's shoulder.

The person was a girl with long pink hair, fair skin, and emerald eyes. She was wearing one of Fu's dojo uniforms, though it looked like she opted to remove the gi robe. She pulled Hinata a little closer with a grin.

"Nice job Hinata." whispered the Pinkette. "He'll be yours in no time." Hinata blushed fiercely at that comment.

"S...SAKURA! N...not in front of Goku-kun. He has exceptionally good hearing!" Sakura turned to where Goku was, finding that his own blush had grown as well. She smirked as she nodded her head.

"Oh really? So you heard what I said just now? Wanna know more?" Goku felt his words die in his throat, not sure how to answer. Before he could think of anything to say, Fu quickly walked between them.

"Sakura, the match is about to begin and I want all other students off the mat." said Fu. "You can talk with Goku and Hinata after the match." The pinkette groaned in frustration as she walked off of the area. She seemed to be talking to herself a bit as she sat down. Even to Goku, that felt a little weird.

Fu smirked as he looked around the mat. "Are both fighters ready?" Goku looked forward, expecting to see a new opponent. His eyes widened as he realized that Hinata was still in the same spot. He couldn't help the grin that formed on his face as he took a step forward.

"Hinata, you're who I'm fighting? You're Uncle Fu's top student?" The Hyuga girl's blush lessened slightly as she performed her own stretches.

"I am honored that he mentioned me as such, though I fear that it is only because Lee and Neji are not his students at the moment." revealed the Hyuga girl. "I decided to continue working on myself so that I can become a better kunoichi." Goku hopped up and down a bit as his grin grew.

"That's so cool! I can't wait to see how strong you've become! Uncle Fu doesn't compliment people that way for nothing." Hinata felt a bit of pride well up in her chest from this news. Fu smiled from his place between them before he swapped to a serious expression.

"Alright, here are the rules." instructed Fu. "No huge attacks that could destroy the building or the village, no underhanded tactics, and no weapons. In addition here will be no illusionary tactics, clone jutsu, or substitution jutsu. Other ninja techniques are allowed, so long as they adhere to the first two rules. I want a nice, clean fight."

The false demon gestured to the edges of the mat around them. "Victory is achieved by form of ring out, disqualification, incapacitation, or forfeit. Whenever you are ready, enter your fighting stances." Goku and Hinata nodded, each entering their stances. Both fighters had some obvious uncertainty when it came to potentially hurting one-another, but they both ignored it as they waited for the okay to begin.

Time seemed to slow as the duo continued to look each other in the eye. It was as if something inside them was screaming that this fight was something special. Fu soon performed a chop with his arm before jumping backwards. "Begin!" Goku and Hinata rushed forwards, clashing arms with each other.

Hinata made the first move as she kicked Goku in the leg, the saiyan gasping as he was suddenly swept off his feet. The girl went for a strike on his stomach, only to be blocked by his free hand. He then pulled her back into an elbow smash, something the girl anticipated as she ducked. She then rammed her head into his chin, forcing him to let go of her.

Both combatants leapt backwards in order to gain some ground on each other. Goku grinned as he brought his arm back, charging energy in it. He made a note to thank Naruto for helping discover this one next time they meet. He fired a ki blast towards Hinata, watching as it sailed towards her. The Hyuga actually smirked as she activated the power of her Byakugan, waving her hands around in a familiar motion.

"Eight Trigrams: Rotation Reversal!" cried Hinata. She created an area of rotation around her just as the blast was about to hit her. It was carried along the field before she coated her hand in energy. She punched the attack, sending it flying straight back at Goku. The Saiyan's eyes widened as he created a ball of ki in his hand, causing the ki blast to explode without hitting him.

Hinata deactivated her Byakugan and her technique as she rushed towards Goku, beginning another round of close quarters combat as she sent a spinning ax kick his way. Fu watched over the battle, doing his best to make sure that the rules were being upheld. He couldn't help but draw his attention to the Hyuga heiress, feeling that familiar fire within her grow in power. It seemed that the excitement of battle drew out that hidden power, as well as a part of her personality that was desperate to show through. Goku smirked as he and Hinata separated once again, breathing deeply from all of the energy he expended.

"I haven't been so excited before!" cheered the saiyan. "Uncle Fu is the only one who gave me this kind of feeling in a fight and even then, he always holds back. Here the only things keeping us from going all out are the rules. It allows me to feel your incredible power, Hinata-chan!" The normally rather shy girl shared his smirk as she felt a bold streak in her.

"Why thank you for the compliment, Goku-kun~. Being near you always seems to bring out the best in me. Maybe after I win, we can go for some Ichiraku ramen like you always bring up~." Something about the tone in Hinata's voice and her determination caused Goku to blush as his tail straightened out. He dumbly nodded his head in response.

"S…sure. We could go no matter who wins." Hinata hummed in interest as she stretched a bit.

"Sounds like a date then." Goku's blush increased in volume, his tail now wagging like crazy. "Let's wrap this up with one final strike then. Think you can handle it?" Goku rubbed his face a few times in order to get his emotions in check, grinning as he nodded his head.

"Only one way to find out!" The duo rushed towards each other, their eyes burning with the intensity of battle. Goku performed the confirmation sign with one hand before charging basic chakra into his fist. "WILD APE CRASH!" Hinata reactivated her Byakugan as she charged up her own chakra through the tenketsu points in her right hand.

"Gentle Step: Power Punch!" The two attacks crashed, shaking the building but not quite breaking it. Both saiyan and human pushed against each other, trying to pull out the win. The markings on Hinata's back tried to restrain her power, though she was still able to put up a decent fight with Goku. Before they could come to an epic conclusion, they suddenly felt the power being taken from their moves.

"And with that, we're calling it a draw." stated Fu. Both fighters looked towards the man, his sword outstretched as energy flowed into it. He sheathed it again as he crossed his arms. "If that had gone on any longer, I wouldn't have a house anymore. You both should have been disqualified the moment you pulled out those techniques, though I felt that it would be better to show off the raw power they possessed."

Both warriors stood up from their prior position, taking deep breaths. Fu stepped past them as he looked towards his other students. "That is the potential of those that move on to the next level of training. These two are among the top users of Ki in Konoha, so you'll have a lot to do if you want to prove yourselves as the best. If you keep at it, you'll make fine warriors that all of the world will be unable to deny."

This seemed to excite many members of the small crowd, including Sakura as she held her hands together. Hinata looked towards Goku, expecting him to look disappointed as their battle ended prematurely. Instead, however, she saw him get up in her face with the biggest grin she's ever seen.

"That. was. AWESOME!" cried the saiyan. "That was the best fight ever!" Hinata felt a blush creep up on her face as she tapped her fingers together.

"Y…you think so?" questioned the Hyuga heiress. "I…I didn't do much…" Goku took a few steps back as he laughed a bit.

"DIDN'T DO MUCH!? You kept me on my toes! I honestly thought you were going to win that one! Not even Lee has given me that close of a fight before!" Hinata went from embarrassed to awestruck as she held her hands together.

"Really? I am honored by such praise, but please don't exaggerate in such a way." Goku displayed his chin to her, revealing a bruise where her head hit.

"Does this look like an exaggeration to you? I don't bruise easily, Hinata-chan. You're probably the strongest girl in your age group. I kinda wished one of us could have won so that we could talk over some Ichiraku's." Hinata moved her hands behind her back, trying her best to not faint or chicken out.

"W…well you did say that we c…could go no matter w…who wins. We can still go if…if you want to." Goku felt his heartbeat increase once again as Hinata gave him a hopeful look. The way her eyes glistened like the moon caused his tail to wag like a dog's tail yet again. Goku nodded his head eagerly as he flashed his famous grin.

"I…I'd love to! Let's go right now!" He wrapped his arm around Hinata's shoulder as he led her along, the girl blushing atomic red at what was happening. She looked back to see Sakura sending her a massive grin and two thumbs up. Fu rolled his eyes as he began to look away, only to notice something.

Goku's tail was now firmly wrapped around Hinata's waist, the girl seeming to not mind it as she kept the event to herself. There was only one situation where a Saiyan would wrap his or her tail around another being like that. Fu smirked as he looked away from the duo.

"Well would you look at that." stated the purple man to himself. "Goku's in love. Anko will definitely want to hear about that."

That's chapter 9 out of the way. Fu brings Goku home to find that he's actually been gone for a year. Lee is now in Team 3 and none of Goku's original class is in the academy. He has also made a promise to Itachi to help Sasuke with his problems. To end it off, Goku has begun to truly fall for Hinata. Only time will tell how Goku will handle this development.

Anywho, what do you think of the changes that were made in this chapter? Did you like Anko's introduction to both Naruto? How about the match between Goku and Hinata? Let me know what you think down below and I'll try to respond as soon as possible. This is Inkaliber, signing out.
