Binding the Galaxy Together

Chapter 32 – Battle of the U.S.J. (Part 3)

The water of the shipwreck zone was only waist level now as Izuku walked to safety with Tsuyu and Minoru next to him. The green-headed boy winced and nursed his two broken fingers as he pushed his legs against the water. He really owed a lot to his two classmates for getting out of there safely. Dealing with this zone would have been a lot more of a pain if it hadn't been for Tsuyu's level headedness and Minoru's…balls. Yeah maybe spheres or orbs were the better words for his quirk. But as he looked back to where the fake ship used to be and all the villains in the area bound together by Minoru's quirk, he had to admit the little pervert had his uses. If only he hadn't said out loud why, he knew the orbs would be really sticky. Izuku just hoped the dwarf never made any comments directed towards Ochako or Camilla like he had made about Yaoyorozu.

Especially towards Ochako.

'Wait. Why especially?'

"Hey, Midoriya? Are you alright? Your fingers don't look so good."

Tsuyu's croaking drew Izuku back to reality before he dove down that particular rabbit hole. He looked back down at his left hand and noticed the swelling on his fingers slowly worsening. Where was Camilla with a bacta shot when he needed one? Pulling his elbow guard down to his hand as a makeshift cast, Izuku waved his froggy classmate's concerns off.

"I'll be alright. Recovery Girl can fix me up when we get out of here."

"You mean if we get out of here," Minoru pointed out. "We're still trapped in here, remember? And there's a crap-ton more villains than the ones we just took out."

"And if I'm guessing correctly, then all those other villains are separated between the other zones in the U.S.J," Izuku added, pointing to the front of the building. "Look there. The space between here and the central plaza is all clear. All we have to do is keep out of sight and we can make it back up to the entrance without a problem."

"Good idea. That way we avoid the villains Mister Aizawa is dealing with. Ribbit."

At the mention of Aizawa's name, Izuku began to think more on whether or not making for the exit was the best course of action. Erasure was an amazing quirk that, if utilized properly, made for a devastating opponent to fight against. But Aizawa's build wasn't made for long drawn out fights against many villains. If help didn't arrive soon, then their teacher may not make it out. The vision Camilla told him about made the imagination pretty vivid.

"But on the other hand…the longer Mister Aizawa's alone, the quicker he's gonna get worn out. Then the villains will get him."

"Hold on. I don't like that tone," Mineta whimpered. "It sounds like you're thinking of going over there."

"Well…yeah I kinda am."

"Are you crazy, Midoriya?! Even if you have a strength quirk, you can't take on all those villains at once! What's the big idea?! Are you trying to get us killed?!"

"Again, Mineta, are you sure the hero thing is really for you? Ribbit."

"Why do you keep asking me that?! We just got lucky back there with those other villains because we had no other choice! Now the choice to get out of here in one piece is right in front of us and you wanna throw it away?!"

"Look, I'm not suggesting we charge into a battle that big with no plan. But if we hang back near the entrance of the plaza, maybe we can pick off a few stragglers. We'd lighten his load and stay out of the way."

Izuku wasn't really sure if his words succeeded in calming Minoru at all. As for if they had any effect on Tsuyu, that was even harder to read. The frog girl's default expression was neutral, only changing very rarely. He waited for a few seconds longer before the two of them gave Izuku an answer.

Punch after punch, kick after kick, jump after jump, Eraserhead was certainly feeling the burn in this fight. Sure, his quirk gave him an advantage over most of these small-time punks but he felt himself starting to run on empty. But if going on fumes for a few more miles was what he needed to do for his students, he'd gladly do it. So long as these villains were here, they weren't safe and that meant his fight wasn't over.

One covered in hands charged towards him.

"Final boss," he muttered with a lash of his scarf.

Though he was still fast, the blue-haired man was fast too. With a quick grab of the scarf and a swift sidestep, the villain was up close and personal with the underground pro. Erasure was still active but his eyes felt dry as a desert right now. With every attack he threw at this villain, he couldn't seem to land a solid hit. While he was on the offense, Tomura kept going on about different lengths of time before his hair fell. Eraserhead, caught up in the moment, wasn't paying much attention to it. He threw a kick. Tomura dodged again a little off balance so Eraserhead tried to elbow him only for it to be caught in Tomura's hand with ease.

"Nobody can tell when you're using your quirk so long as you wear those goggles," the head villain's raspy voice came. "But even without them, that annoying power still has a tell. Your hair always stands up and falls back down when you turn it on and off."

Eraserhead grit his teeth in surprise as he listened. Not many people knew about his existence. So to hear a villain dissect his quirk so easily didn't bode well for him. Try as he might, his eyes wouldn't stay open any more. As his eyelids fell, so did his hair, giving this Tomura Shigaraki an up close view of the tell he just discovered. The second he did, he felt a massive amount of pain start to erupt from the same elbow he tried to attack with.

"You really gotta be more careful about which fights you choose to jump into, Eraserhead. After all, who knows when you'll fall apart under the weight of it all?" Tomura gleefully cackled.

The pain grew worse with every word out of Tomura's mouth. Knowing he couldn't take much more, Eraserhead yanked it away and put some distance between him and Tomura before examining his elbow. To his shock and displeasure, part of his costume covering and skin was gone, exposing the muscle underneath. The pain made it hard to think, but seeing just what this guy's quirk was, brought him back to yesterday when he observed the destroyed barrier door. It hadn't been broken. It had rotted away. This was definitely the guy who did it.

Even though he was down one arm, he still had a class to protect. And thankfully, the small-time thugs that rushed at him were nowhere near the level of threatening Shigaraki was. They went down so easily. Once more, Eraser gripped his scarf and stared down the leader.

"Your quirk is useful, but it isn't suited for drawn out fights against large groups is it? That's why you stick to the underground stuff. Minimal quirk usage helps you maintain a low profile."

Once more, Eraserhead was frustrated that his fighting style was being picked apart so easily but he had no intention of calling it quits.

"You're such a cool side quest, Eraserhead. But you made one incorrect assumption. The final boss isn't me."

Dread crept up the pro's spine as he whipped his head around and saw the hulking monster from before standing right behind him. Seeing those unexpressive eyes and exposed brain up close sent a thousand different thoughts running through his head. Only one thought was the dominant one: win. The monster reached for his head and Erasure activated once more.

As they peeked over the ledge of the central plaza, Minoru, Tsuyu, and Izuku all watched their teacher do his job with hooked interest. Izuku being the most knowledgeable about Eraserhead especially felt blessed to be able to see their teacher's style up close. Watching him was like a privilege. If only they hadn't been nearly killed today, it would've been perfect.

Then it happened. All three kids were shown the horrific effects of the head villain's quirk as it reduced most of his elbow to dust in the breeze. Thankfully, it stopped before it could spread further but none of them liked seeing their teacher get hurt.

"He's gonna be fine, right?" Minoru begged anyone to answer him.

Tsuyu and Izuku remained silent, both of their eyes fixated on Eraserhead. Neither of them had any clue as to how this fight would unfold. All they could do was hope. As they did, Izuku wanted more than anything to just hop in there and help take some of the load off like he said before. But something stopped him. A memory from last night replayed in his head as the voice of that man he spoke to before came back to him.

"No matter what happens, trust in the Force."

If he was being honest with himself, he still didn't have a clue what it meant to truly do that. Being with Camilla these past months and learning about the Force from her was enlightening and all, and he's heard her use that same phrase before on a few separate occasions. It still didn't make sense. Did it mean to just go with the flow? Everything happens for a reason? Honestly the more he thought about it, it kinda felt like a religious zealot's way of saying, "It's all part of the plan."

*BOOM!*

His thoughts were thrown out of his head by the sound. It sounded like an explosion, but once Izuku caught sight of what it really was, his breath froze in his throat. The monster from before had its hands on Eraserhead and slammed him into the ground so hard, the concrete cracked all around his body. Ice began to creep up his spine. And judging by the frightened squeak from Minoru and a nervous ribbit from Tsuyu, they too felt the chill. For the next few seconds, the three of them were horrified further as the beast continued to mangle their teacher by breaking his arms and smashing his head further into the concrete.

Back over with Eraser, all he could concentrate on doing was not passing out from the pain which proved to be a very difficult task right now. One arm was being squeezed like a juice pouch while the other was crushed between the other hand of the monster and the concrete. With every ounce of strength he still had, he tried to turn his head back so he could see the monster to use his quirk again. But it made no difference. The moment his eyes flashed red, one of the giant hands grabbed his head and slammed it back down making the concrete crack even more. Against the ground, he felt a great amount of blood pooling around his face.

'I…I was sure I erased his quirk…is he…is he this strong even without it?"

"So what do you think of my Anti-Symbol of Peace?" Tomura's voice came as if hearing his thoughts. "He's pretty cool isn't he? Specially engineered to be as strong as All Might, even better in some places. For simplicity's sake, you can just call him Nomu."

So the beast had a name not that it mattered at this point. Right now, all Eraserhead could feel was blinding pain up and down his entire body. Using his quirk was useless now since it didn't seem to have any real effect. All he could do now was hope his students got out or that help was on its way. Either way, it wasn't looking like he was going to make it out of this in one piece.

"I was hoping the first blood Nomu smelled today would belong to All Might, but you'll do just fine until he gets here, Eraserhead. Don't you worry though. I'm not gonna tell him to kill you yet. First things first."

The villain turned his head back.

"Let's punish the great Symbol of Peace for not being here when he was supposed to."

In a show of unexpected speed, Tomura was at the edge of the plaza and reaching out his hand to grab the face of some no-name NPC with short brown hair and pink cheeks.

*A few minutes ago*

Though her legs still hurt some, Ochako could at least walk thanks to Momo helping her ease the pain. Momo, Ochako, and Hanta looked at the staircase leading to the entrance with every intention to climb it and get the hell out of the U.S.J. without looking back. Even though it was an agreed upon idea, it wasn't without its problems. For one, the warp villain was probably still up there and if they were spotted, he would probably just teleport them away again and it was back to square one.

"So what do we do?" Momo asked. "I don't see any emergency exits nearby."

"Maybe we can make one." Hanta looked at Ochako and pointed at her hand. "Can you use that to cut through the wall?"

The gravity manipulator looked down once more at the lightsaber that was once Camilla's master's. Chances were high on it being an easy ticket out of here. But there were two problems with that idea. Problem one: Ochako didn't just want to bail on her classmates. She felt it wouldn't be very heroic to do that without ensuring they were all okay. Not to mention, Camilla probably wanted that saber back like crazy. The second problem she and Momo noticed.

"Even if I did that, look closer. The front door to this place is up that big staircase, remember? Everything down here is one big hole in the ground. All we'd get if we cut through the wall is a face full of dirt."

While Hanta processed that, Ochako turned her head back to the central plaza. Their choices were between a rock and a hard place and neither of them sounded very inviting. Even if Kirishima were with them, it wouldn't change that. One of their teachers was still fighting judging by the sounds they could hear, and it sounded like he was winning.

"Maybe we should stay near Mister Aizawa for now," Ochako suggested.

Immediately, Hanta and Momo looked at her like she was crazy.

"But wouldn't that also mean being near a buncha of villains and that freaky monster looking thing?" Hanta asked, already knowing the answer and not liking it.

"Uraraka, I don't think that's the best course of action," Momo said, siding with Hanta. "Mister Aizawa can handle the villains. We need to prioritize our escape."

As understandable as her classmates' reactions were, something about them lit a fire in Ochako that made her stare back at them with a level of determination the two of them swore they had seen on Katsuki's face before.

"Escape probably isn't going to be an option until all the villains are taken care of. Chances are we're going to need all the help we can get if we want any chance at getting past that warp villain. So I'm gonna go see if Mister Aizawa needs help. And if there's a chance we can help him wrap things up over there, then we can get out of there that much sooner."

The plan she just spouted even surprised herself. Ochako was certain that this plan had a lot of holes in it. But with how her brain ran right now, it was the best she could come up with. It pretty much came down to the lesser of two evils and she tried to convince her classmates to go along with her. She watched as Momo and Hanta looked at her, each other, the plaza where their teacher was, and lastly back up the stairs. As they mentally weighed their options, Ochako's thumbs traced over the surface of that lightsaber she gripped nervously.

"Dammit all to hell…alright. Plaza it is," Hanta relented.

"But we're only going to make sure Mister Aizawa has things handled. We're not going to jump into anything dangerous if we don't have to. Agreed?"

Those were reasonable terms that Ochako had no problem with.

"Done," she agreed.

With everything settled, the three of them slowly made their way over. The sight they were treated to once their eyes peaked over the top of the stairs was indeed something to behold. Their teacher was single handedly beating the crap of so many of these villains all on his own. Ochako had to give the guy props. For such an unknown hero, Eraserhead sure could kick some serious ass. After learning who he was on the first day, Izuku had shown her the notes he took on him in his notebook and just like with every other entry in there, it was thorough beyond belief. Watching the moves up close rather than reading about them on a notebook page was a completely different experience. Eraser was gruff but effective.

Then, the hand guy made his move, as did the beast.

In less than a minute's time, the mood between all three students went from nervous excitement from watching their teacher to unfiltered fear as they saw Eraser's elbow slowly start to dissolve away. He got away before it could spread further, thank god. But then that monster, now identified as Nomu, crushed the hero like an annoying fly. Ochako began to feel sick and her quirk had nothing to do with it this time. Along with that queasy feeling, one of regret started to join it. Maybe they should've tried for the exit regardless of the warp villain.

"Let's punish the great Symbol of Peace for not being here when he was supposed to."

In a burst of speed that would even make Tenya jealous, Ochako found herself staring at a pale-skinned hand reaching for her face. Suddenly, she couldn't move her legs, not because they were cramping this time. Pure fear and an inability to fully register what was happening kept her feet from moving. She couldn't tell if Hanta or Momo were reacting at all, she couldn't tell if Aizawa was moving. All Ochako could see were those crusty fingers getting closer to her and remembering what they did to her teacher's elbow. If they touched her face, she was a goner.

Every instinct in Ochako's body screamed at her to move, run, duck, do something. In the last few moments, she did remember there was a lightsaber in her hand. With her thumb over the switch of said weapon, she began to raise it with the intent to try and defend herself.

"DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH HER!"

"Ribbit! Midoriya!"

"Are you crazy?!"

"SMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!"

Everything and everyone stopped as Ochako registered that cry and looked just past the villain's shoulder to see her broccoli-headed friend charging straight for them with his right arm swelling up with power. Seeing what was about to come and knowing she couldn't stop it now, Ochako finally moved and tackled Momo and Hanta down to the ground for cover. A couple seconds later, a violent burst of wind blew over their heads from what they could only guess was Izuku's punch. The seconds passed and the wind died down allowing all three of them to peer their eyes back to the scene. That punch had to have done something.

What they hoped would be a feeling of relief turned to one of horror when they saw the hand-covered villain was still there in the same spot, and Izuku's fist was embedded into Nomu's skin with no damage whatsoever. Even Izuku himself looked terrified at the beastly being as if he was looking death itself in the eye.

"That's quite a quirk you've got there kid." Tomura sounded excited. "And you called your attack a smash. Tell me. Are you one of All Might's fanboys?"

In Izuku's head, he looked up at the beast and all the color seemed to drain out of his body. He didn't regret moving at all. He tried. He really tried to go with the flow of things like that person in his head told him to. But once he got a glimpse of Ochako about to die, all other thoughts went out the window and were replaced by a new one: "SAVE. HER." So he charged up his arm to one hundred percent and threw it forward, not caring that he was attempting to hit someone with a full powered smash up close. To his surprise, it didn't break his arm but now here he was, face to face with a monster that just took the hit and brushed it off like a grain of sand.

"Not that it matters," Tamura wheezed out. "Nomu, kill him."

Before he could think of pulling away, Izuku's arm was tightly grasped by Nomu's giant hand. The pressure made the boy cry out in pain as he was pulled closer and Nomu raised it's other arm to bring it down on him like a hammer.

"DEKU!"

*PSSSSHHHHEEEEW!*

Out of the corner of his eye, Izuku watched as Ochako made her way up to the platform. To his complete shock, there was one of Camilla's lightsabers in her hands. As amazing a sight that was, Izuku didn't enjoy it long. Before he knew it, he was jerked off his feet by the Nomu and thrown harshly into the approaching Ochako, causing both of them to roll across the plaza floor. As they came to a stop, both of them groaned in pain as various parts of their bodies ached.

"Ouch…Deku… are you alright?"

"I…I think so…I just think my arm is broken."

At least this time he could say it wasn't because of One For All backfiring this time. But right now, that sentiment offered him no comfort as he looked back to see the hand-covered villain slowly approaching them. On his way over, he leaned down to pick something off the ground, and it turned out to be Camilla's master's lightsaber.

"Well, this is an interesting item drop." Tomura excitedly observed the thing.

For the briefest moment, Izuku kept his eyes on the villain's hands that were actually part of his own body. As he held that lightsaber, each hand kept at least one finger off the grip. And thanks to being friends with Ochako for all this time, Izuku had come to be quite well versed in spotting someone with a five-finger activation quirk.

*PSSSSHHHHEEEEW!*

As good as it was to know that, it didn't change the fact that there was still very much a lightsaber in a crazy villain's hand.

"Damn it's heavy. As nice as this is, did you really think it would do much good against my dear Nomu? He was perfectly crafted to take on All Might firing on all cylinders!"

As Tomura kept gloating and cackling, Izuku and Ochako both tried to get up in vain. The pain from getting thrown harshly across the concrete floor was still fresh on their skin and bones. The verdanette looked past him and saw Momo and Hanta were being blocked by that Nomu thing. Tsuyu and Minoru were both okay and out of harm's way which brought him momentary relief. But he must have looked at them for too long because Tomura's eyesight followed his own and found the two of them. Then to his and Ochako's horror, the villain changed directions and went for them.

"So let's see why you thought this glow-stick would be good enough."

Leaning into a sprint, Tomura made his way to right in front of the two students in a heartbeat just like he had done before with Ochako. Instead of reaching out a hand to use his quirk, he gripped the saber with both hands and raised it up to bring down on Tsuyu. The frog girl just looked while Minoru started to wail and push her out of the way. But it wasn't enough. Even though it looked like he was putting in effort to hold that weapon up above his head, Izuku knew he wasn't going to be fast enough to save Tsuyu from being chopped up if he didn't move.

'Come on, Force! I'm trying to trust in you here! Do something already!'

Those thoughts and the sounds of his other classmates calling for Tsuyu to move were what overtook his senses as he then watched Tomura swing. He was so focused on the villain, Izuku didn't even notice a grey and brown blur by him until it appeared right in front of the villain.

*PSSSSHHHHEEEEW!*

The blue blade became locked by a green one, and the girl wielding the latter scowled to the villain before her as the two lightsabers crackled against each other. Suddenly, Tsuyu found herself able to move as she finally registered the familiar redhead in front of her.

"Camilla." And the frog was happy to see her.

Those feelings were not reciprocated by this villain. Through the gaps of the fingers clasping his face, Tomura looked into the face of this new girl ready to speak but was halted upon seeing a pair of very cold, very angry, and very blind eyes staring back at him.

"Who the hell are-"

Camilla wasted no time pushing back making this villain stumble. He recovered quickly and tried to swing the lightsaber at her but the sloppy form made blocking child's play. Swiftly, Camilla spun herself around and her lightsaber twisted with her. In its motion, the blade locked with the blue one and forced it to move along, making Tomura go off balance. Seizing her moment, Camilla reached back her arm and unleashed a strong Force push. Tomura was sent flying backwards and the lightsaber was ripped from his grip as he impacted the concrete. The hilt flew into her open left hand. Her sight through the Force was locked onto the man and she kept viewing him closely as she crouched into the Jar'Kai position.

"These constant interruptions are seriously starting to piss me off! Nomu! Kill that redhead brat!"

The instant he finished that sentence, Camilla felt another spike from the Force warning her. She ducked down narrowly avoiding a punch from Nomu. Her hair was still fluttering in the wind from the power of that punch before the Force shouted again. From her crouched position, she channeled her power through her body and shot up, jumping into a backflip and dodging Nomu's foot as it stomped all the way through the concrete. The young Padawan landed a good distance between the monstrous being and Izuku and Ochako, who were still trying to get back on their feet.

As best she could, Camilla began to focus her senses to try and get any type of read on this monster. As she honed in she found…nothing. There was no emotion, no thought patterns, not even the slightest trace of any mental activity. Even animals had more going on in their heads than this. The only possible way someone could just not be sensed by a Jedi was…suddenly she understood, and the young Padawan was horrified.

'If there's nothing in his head to sense…that could only mean...'

She didn't want to think any more about that and she didn't have a choice but to stop. Nomu had charged again but this time Camilla charged herself to meet it in the middle and keep it as far away from her friends and her downed teacher as possible. Ignoring the cries of her friends to come back, she gripped both sabers tightly, leapt into a somersault over Nomu's head, and avoided a harsh punch at the same time. When she landed, she turned and leaned back avoiding another swing. The same as before in the downpour zone with those tendrils of water, she was weaving and jumping to avoid all the attacks but found doing so with this brute was a lot more challenging. It wasn't just strong, it was also fast with no signs of slowing down.

The moment both her feet were on the ground again, Camilla held up both her arms as another giant fist came flying at her. With the Force strengthening her, that same fist was caught in her telekinetic grip but she was only barely holding on. She only had a matter of seconds before this thing's raw strength broke her hold.

'Not good! Not good! This thing is way stronger than it has any right to be! I guess that villain was right! This thing's strength is on par with All Might's!'

Knowing that really didn't do her any good now. Frantically, she tried to think about what she had to use. Her lightsabers were no good if she was holding this thing with her arms. Her friends were all scattered around and the hand villain controlling this living puppet was still up and walking in front of…water. The water from the zone with that fake boat in it.

'I sure hope you're heavy enough to sink!'

Gritting her teeth and summoning as much power as she could, she twisted her grip on the Nomu's fist and pushed it back. When it came flying at her again, Camilla dodged to the side; with a yell, she slashed with her green blade. The Nomu let out a shriek of pain as it gazed upon its hand which was now missing its pinky and ring fingers. Seizing her chance, Camilla swung again and the blue blade of her master slashed cleanly across the skin of its chest. As it yelled in pain again, the ruby-haired Jedi's arms reared back like a couple of canons and thrust forward. The Force push hit square in the Nomu's center and sent him flying over Tsuyu's and Minoru's heads before splashing into the water behind them. She kept her focus on the water, waiting for it to come bursting back. But after a few more seconds, it didn't.

*Ssshhhhhhhhp!*

As she returned her lightsabers to her belt and ran towards Aizawa, Camilla was too focused on him to read everyone else around her.

The four kids around her new to seeing her fight like that were all in the same boat with little differences about them. Hanta, Momo, Minoru, and Tsuyu all looked at their blind classmate, unsure of what to even think. On one hand, that little show of power she just exhibited was nothing short of incredible. Tsuyu and Minoru both deduced that Nomu thing was the tool the villains brought in to kill All Might. To see Camilla actually stand up to it, deal it some damage, and then send it flying, it was damn impressive.

On the other hand, none of them were fans of the fact that she saw today's events happening and told no one. Parts of them wanted to march right over to her and demand to know just what was going on. But once they saw her kneel down to their injured teacher, it was hard for those parts to grow any bigger. Tsuyu was the first to move. The frog girl felt like she lost all feeling in her legs for a moment when that hand guy raised that sword to her, but her feet could move again, and she used them to start approaching. Once she did, Momo followed her, then Hanta, and then a reluctant Minoru last. Talks could be had later. Right now getting out of here with everyone in one piece took precedence.

Over with Izuku and Ochako, they were more focused on the fact that Camilla was alright rather than the dismemberment they just saw. Sure that was on their minds just as much as any other who just saw her but looking where she was going reminded them of their injured teacher. Both of them once again attempted to stand but this time found themselves being assisted from behind. The two looked back and saw Fumikage and Dark Shadow had both of their hands on Izuku hoisting him up, and Kyoka grabbed Ochako's arms in an attempt to help her.

"You two alright?" Kyoka asked.

"Y-yeah," Ochako mumbled. "Where did you two end up?"

"The windstorm zone with Sharro," Fumikage answered. "'Twas a mad banquet of darkness had within. Things were seen that I do not believe were meant to be seen by us for a long time."

Hearing that come from their avian-headed classmate, added into the new knowledge that Camilla was with them, Ochako and Izuku looked at each other as alarms rang in their heads. Once they were up on their feet, they started moving towards where Camilla was kneeling.

"Do you mean fighting the villains or was it something Camilla did?" Izuku asked nervously.

"Yes," was all Kyoka answered with.

"She promised to tell us the full truth later on. But for now, we have bigger issues."

Fumikage's words again made his two classmates widen their eyes. It looked like their little secret was about to have a bigger party. But as they approached, those thoughts were violently pushed away.

Looking closely at the mangled body of their teacher was not a pretty sight. Both of his arms were messed up in various ways; his face was an absolute wreck from being slammed into the concrete numerous times. It wasn't long until his body was surrounded by all nine present students. Dark Shadow was extended out of Fumikage's back, keeping his eyes on the hand-covered villain who just appeared to be looking towards the water.

"Oh my god…Mister Aizawa…" Momo was horrified as she looked upon her teacher.

Most everyone else around her mirrored the teen's reaction as they gazed at the bloodied pro. They knew not every fight could be won but seeing it like this put a lot of things into perspective for some of them.

"H-he'll be okay, right?" Minoru squeaked.

"Yeah. Once we get him out of here, Recovery Girl will work her magic," Hanta assured his tiny friend. "Yaoyorozu, can you make anything to help him until then?"

"Not anything that will be of any use. I'm afraid I don't have that many lipids left to create something substantial."

"You don't need to."

Momo's eyes went straight to Kyoka the moment those words left the punk girl's mouth. Hanta, Minoru, and Tsuyu gave her equal looks of confusion but she didn't care as she looked towards Camilla.

"Do you have any more of that goop you injected us with?"

Momo raised an eyebrow, even more lost. "Goop? What goop?"

Ochako already knew what they were talking about and looked to Camilla expectantly.

"You brought some bacta with you?"

For a brief moment, Camilla considered not answering her considering what type of floodgate that would open with all these ears near her. For Aizawa's sake though, she relented and reached back into her belt pouch, pulling out her remaining three bacta vials.

"Yeah I…I figured it would be a good idea," she softly explained.

"Ribbit, what does that stuff even do?" Tsuyu wondered as she leaned in to get a closer look at the vials.

"Maybe a demonstration would be better advised?" Fumikage suggested. "I suspect we may come under attack again soon."

That was right. All of them could agree to that. The villains were down but for how long? Part of her vision in the first place was the distinct feeling of blood dripping onto her skin. Camilla did not want to know how that felt. With haste, she took the caps of the needles off the vials and threw them aside and asked where the injuries were the worst. His elbow was destroyed apparently thanks to the villain's power, and his head was crushed way too harshly. In one hand, she held two vials over his forehead and another at his elbow. She just hoped it would be enough for whatever wound she couldn't see. Camilla just wanted to prevent at least one aspect of this horrible nightmare from coming true.

"Mister Aizawa, if you can hear me, this is only gonna sting for a moment. I promise."

No more waiting. She stuck the first needle into the crook of his elbow and the other two sunk into his forehead. The kids all heard a small pained grunt croak out of their teacher. Within a second, the vials were drained of their contents. Momo, Hanta, Tsuyu, and Minoru all leaned in to see just what was so special about this goop. They weren't expecting such a fast reaction. It started at the elbow. The blue substance seemed to seep through the exposed muscle and just start…rebuilding them. Looking at his forehead, the same thing was happening. The four students couldn't believe what they were seeing. First their teacher's elbow was just vaporized by that villain's quirk, and now…now it looked like that didn't even happen in the first place! After a few seconds passed, the bacta shots had finished their work. Aizawa's elbow and the majority of his face had been repaired.

Then the slew of questions came.

A few dozen meters away from them, Tomura Shigaraki watched the kids rather annoyed. In fact, his annoyance was nearing a new record high. Things were going smoothly. Eraserhead was a pain but his hobo-looking ass couldn't hold a candle to his anti symbol of peace.

These kids were turning out to be more troublesome than they were worth. He brought all those thugs and villains with him for the sole purpose of killing them and making his job easier. Nearly half of them were all here in one spot! Just what kind of villains did these guys call themselves if they couldn't even kill a few kids?! If they were just hero brats like any other than it wouldn't have meant much, but then that green-haired boy just had to yell out "Smash" like the very man he came here to end. It was just vexing how much kids these days wanted to be like that over-glorified symbol of peace. But that's not where his negative thoughts ended.

That girl with the red hair he kept a close eye on. Tomura knew he wasn't seeing things. That girl was blind. Not a working retina in her body and she still made him look like an idiot with those swords of hers, and then she broke through Nomu's perfect defenses and chopped two of his fingers off. It wasn't supposed to go like that. Master was supposed to have prepared this thing to be the best weapon to kill All Might, to be better than he ever was in his prime! And he just got dismembered by a blind bitch with a couple of glowsticks?!

Tomura wanted the green kid to hurt. Tomura wanted the redhead to suffer.

Tomura wanted both of them dead right now.

"This party wants to jump into my game with a hacker? They're gonna pay the consequences," Tomura sighed and looked to the water of the shipwreck zone. "Nomu, get back up here and end them."

As soon as the last syllable left his mouth, the water in the shipwreck zone began to violently ripple. Over with the kids, Camilla was still listening to four of her classmates ask her more about the bacta shots, but then she stopped answering. Her eyes opened up wide, and she turned her head back to the shipwreck zone. Reaching out her vision, she saw the waves of the industrial ocean growing strong.

"We've got incoming!" she cried as she threw the empty vials away.

The other eight kids turned their heads just in time to see the water erupt in the fashion a volcano would. From the cloud of water, the horrible shape of the Nomu burst out and came descending down on them like a meteor with its fists balled up and ready to hammer down.

"Clear out!" Izuku shouted.

None of them needed to be told twice. Camilla was the first to grab Aizawa with the Force and run away with the others right beside her. They didn't get much time to run however. When the Nomu reached the ground, it brought its fists down and sent out a powerful shockwave which none of the kids could avoid. All of them went flying in different directions and rolled across the ground, hurt and dazed. When she got to her knees, Camilla refocused her vision and saw Aizawa was still in front of her. His Force connection could still be seen, which thankfully meant he was still alive. Crawling over to him, she tried to pick him up and start moving again. But the harsh steps of Nomu made her trip as the ground under her shook.

"Well, you certainly know how to hack a game."

Suddenly, she froze in fear.

'Those words….no…this is it.'

Her vision, all of it, was coming true. She was sitting in this exact position with her cradling her teacher's broken form, and that monster endowed with multiple Force connections was towering over her. And there he was too. That hand-covered villain approaching from behind.

"I think I just might bring you along with me."

As if mentally hearing its master's wish, the Nomu began to reach out to grip its hand around Camilla's head. From their various scattered places, the other students cried out for her to move, run, use her power, do anything but sit there. But the Jedi was too scared to even do anything. Was this it? Was this how she reunited with her master and her other lost comrades? Clutching Aizawa's body like a lifeline, Camilla shut her eyes and did the only thing she could think of doing.

'Master! Help me!'

*CRASH!*

"GRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"

In no way was she actually expecting an answer in the form of a familiar heroine's roar.

Things weren't faring much better up at the top of the staircase leading out of the building. Only a few of the kids were fast enough to avoid being warped away by Kurogiri's many surprise portals. Tenya, being one of them, was tasked by Thirteen of trying to get out the door and run back to school to bring back reinforcements. The space hero herself was then downed mere moments later due to her own quirk being used against her with a portal from behind. Now with their second teacher down, the speedy class rep felt shameful in knowing that he was essentially abandoning his classmates and running away. But with a little nudging from Mina, Rikido, and Mashirao, Tenya revved his engines and got ready to run.

Thanks to being forcibly pulled out of the smoke cloud before, the four students knew there was a body hidden somewhere inside it. Mashirao also noticed he was wearing some sort of neck brace. Hitting him where it really did hurt had to disrupt him somehow, and that was their only chance at this plan succeeding. It began with Tenya making his dash and Mina coming in from behind to lay down some cover fire but launching glob after glob of acid towards the villain's way. That volley of throws was followed up with Mashirao and Rikido using their own respective skills and quirks to try and force the villain out of his misty hiding place. Unfortunately thanks to all the constant wrap gates, they weren't able to succeed on that front. But they were able to buy some time for Tenya to get closer to the door.

He reached it and immediately got to work on prying it open. He had to admit at this moment his arm strength was nowhere near on point with his legs. It would be something to work on if everyone got out of here alright today. Behind him, he could hear the combined efforts of his classmates as they took the villain on to buy him some time. As sunlight hit his face, he took a moment to glance back and saw that he was down to seconds. This Kurogiri villain had apparently used his quirk to make all of his remaining classmates attack each other. Rikido had an acid burn on his shoulder, Mashirao was rubbing his stomach after Rikido's own fist flew into it, and Mina was clutching her head after Mashirao's tail appeared out of a gate behind her and slammed into it.

Now Kurogiri had one more target to take care of before he could truly call his job done. Frantically, Tenya poured more strength into his arms to get out the door as he felt the smoke covered villain encroach on him.

"A brave effort, as to be expected of U.A. students. But my time with you must now end."

Kurogiri launched another cloud of smoke right for Tenya, intent on making him vanish through another portal. Tenya just turned his head back to the door, hoping by some miracle he could make it out before it reached him.

One glance upward, he realized he didn't have to.

Now being the brother of a pro hero meant Tenya had heard a lot of crazy stories. Tensei never seemed to be short of them at the dinner table. At the very least, now Tenya could say this was his very first one.

And it involved a dragon flying through the wall of the U.S.J.

The debris felt as light as rain against Ryukyu's scaled face. As the broken glass and metal shards fell around her, she looked down and spied what had to be a villain looking up at her with yellow glowing eyes through a black cloud. In her descent, she brought one of her front claws down and was able to pin the smoky villain beneath her draconic hand. As she felt him struggle, Ryukyu's eyesight pulled up for a moment and saw down the stairs a familiar redhead being approached by a monster.

"Send me, scales!"

She didn't have to be told twice. Shifting her body to the side, Ryukyu whipped her tail in the direction of the staircase and felt a pair of muscular hands release on the moment of launch. Mirko was sent flying down the stairs like a missile and maneuvered herself into a somersault with one leg extended.

"LUNA ARC!"

*CRASH!*

A cloud of dust rose up from what the draconic heroine could only assume was the strength of Mirko's foot. She had things handled down there. Up here, there was still a villain glaring at her from underneath her hand.

"How are you here?" the smoky villain growled. "We cut all the communications. No one got out!"

"Good plan, but there are some ways of communication that don't require electronics," Ryukyu replied. "And more heroes are on their way as we speak. Do yourself a favor and surrender."

"I'm afraid I can't, hero. I have a job of my own."

Suddenly, the yellow eyes and the smoke they were surrounded in lowered down into the ground and vanished altogether, leaving Ryukyu's claw pressing against nothing but concrete. Growling in frustration, a torrent of wind surrounded her. Seconds later, it cleared and she now walked on her human legs. As much as she wanted to finish what she started, the children's wellbeing came first. Seeing three in front of her, she focused all of her attention on them and knelt down to inspect the pink girl in front. She noticed that this young one, and the rest of them were now looking at her with huge senses of relief but also a tiny bit of confusion.

"Are all of you alright?" she asked.

"Ohhh…uhhh…y-yeah. I'm alright," the pink girl muttered.

A boy with a tail nodded. "Same here."

"Make that three," the final boy in the yellow tights finished.

Ryukyu smiled, happy to hear it.

"You're the number nine ranked hero. The Dragoon Hero: Ryukyu. Is that correct?"

That fourth voice came from behind her. Turning back, she laid her eyes on this kid and immediately knew who he was. The white armor, the engine motif, the blue hair, and the glasses. It was obvious.

"I am. And you must be Tenya. Your brother Tensei has been singing your praises recently."

The look of positive surprise was nice, but now was hardly the time to dive into a chat about this. A groan from Thirteen was a good reminder of that. Tenya took one step to join her but turned his head back once he heard a new noise. The doors he had been trying to get through were ripped free like they were made of paper. Suddenly the hope for him and the other students viewing the entryway rose dramatically.

All Might had walked through the door. And the first thing noticed by everyone was , his smile was not present.

"It's all going to be alright now, students. You need not to worry."

The number one hero strode past Ryukyu and glared downwards to the central plaza. There he noticed several things: Mirko crouched and ready to fight against some buff monster with a beak, what appeared to be Aizawa being held tight by Camilla, several other students scratched up and shaken but on their feet, and what he could only assume was the one in charge looking straight up at him.

"Because we are here."

His head turned back to Ryukyu; the two nodded to each other. He was grateful that he received a call from them, knowing they were coming like he was. But it was going to be a while before the other pros from U.A. would arrive. For now, they had to hold out on their own.

"Tenya," Ryukyu called. "I want you and your classmates to tend to Thirteen and wait for your teachers to arrive. Can you all do that for me?"

"Don't worry. We've got her," Rikido nodded.

"Go kick those villain's butts," Mina urged.

Confident, she stood up to do just that and joined All Might's side as they walked down the staircase.

"How are you doing on time?" Ryukyu asked, remembering reading the headlines this morning.

"I've only got a few minutes left in this form today," All Might confirmed.

If Ryukyu wasn't so focused on making sure the kids got out safe, she would have loved to smack All Might upside the head herself. He was supposed to be a teacher. She thought he was better than this. So she could only make do with a glare that All Might noticed, and knew he deserved.

"You'll just have to make every second count then."

She would just have to pencil it in as another talk to have once this was over. What took over her attention once they reached the stairs was the situation. Most of the kids had gathered back together around Camilla and Eraserhead. Mirko was busy sending kick after kick into the body of every villain who tried to get near her. Over to the side, two other villains, one covered with hands and the same person covered in purple mist, stood side by side while a big beak faced monster stood in front of them with no obvious emotion on its face. Unnerving to say the least.

"You and Mirko take care of them. I'll join once I make sure the kids are alright."

All Might nodded and began to walk towards the fray. Ryukyu turned her head towards the children and walked straight for them. The first face that caught her view was Camilla's, who seemed to be more relieved than the number nine pro had ever seen it.

"You heard me," the Jedi whispered.

Ryukyu nodded with a soft smile. "You made it hard not to."

She looked to be alright as did the rest of the children. The same could not be said however for the hero currently being cradled by Camilla and her classmates. This had to be Eraserhead. She'd heard of him but never got the chance to meet him. News of his hero work, however limited it may be, told quite a story. Multiple trigger busts, dealers, abusers, this hero was responsible for a lot of criminals being off the streets at night.

To see someone with that reputation look like, mangled and covered in their own blood, always pained Ryukyu. This was almost worse than seeing what All Might had truly been reduced to.

Almost.

"Are the rest of you alright?" Ryukyu asked when she saw the kids.

Breaking out of their stupor at being addressed by the number nine hero, a girl with frog features spoke first.

"Yeah we're fine. Ribbit. Other than Aizawa none of us have taken any serious injuries."

One by one, the other kids chimed their agreement. Ryukyu gave them another look-over. They were indeed unharmed. Although, this one short kid with purple spheres on his head was looking at her quite lustfully. Quickly, her sight kept going and she spotted Izuku. Looking down, she saw how badly a couple of his fingers looked.

"And you Midoriya? What happened to your fingers?"

Most of the other kids looked in Izuku's direction once that question was asked. But it looked as though their concern over his injury was overshadowed by the fact that Ryukyu just addressed one of them by name when none of them introduced themselves.

"It's nothing, I assure you," Izuku said as calmly as he could.

"He should be fine too." Another girl wearing headphones interjected. "Sharro already shot him up with some healing gunk she's had with her."

She didn't need to hear anymore after that. But Ryukyu did look closer to verify. Indeed Eraserhead's face was still bloodied, but there were no wounds present anywhere for more to flow from. Same story with his elbow that was torn at the sleeve. Great to see, but it only made Ryukyu concerned with how much of the bacta shots she had used to get her teacher back to this state. Unfortunately, time was short.

"Alright. Here's what I want you all to do," Ryukyu's voice got serious. "Take your teacher, head up the stairs, and wait for the rest of the heroes to arrive. They shouldn't be too far away by now. Some more of your classmates are already up there. If you see anymore on your way out, help them and direct them up the stairs as well. Can you all do that? Use your quirks if you have to but only if you don't have a choice."

The students nodded their affirmations, more than ready to let the pros handle this.

"What about you?" Ochako wondered. "You really think you can take that monster down?"

Ryukyu glanced over her shoulder as she viewed the monster grappling with All Might.

"It won't be easy, but we can manage this. Don't worry," Ryukyu confidently answered.

"If that's the case," Camilla started. "There are a few things you should know."

A roundhouse kick and a villain goes down. An axe kick follows, down falls another. A spinning reverse kick and a third goes out like it was barely anything in the first place. On any other day, Mirko would be laughing at these guys out loud while openly mocking their horrible attempts at giving her a decent fight. Today though, was not one of those days. Not fully at least. She was still excited, sure. Battling and all that was what she lived for. Not to mention that weirdass mutant Big Bird over there seemed like it could go for more than just a few rounds. But there was something about this particular shit-storm that had her feeling something other than just pure adrenaline. There was anger. Legit anger. What the fuck? She never hopped into a fight angry. That's what leads to fuckups and fuckups lead to failure. The rabbit hero feared she knew the reason as to why she had these thoughts but refused to let those feelings come to the surface now of all times.

"Come on, you two bit fucktards!" She shouted to try and distract herself. "Are any of you gonna give me a challenge?!"

Looking around, she saw a few of the villains trying to get back up sporting angry scowls. Good.

"How the fuck…are we losing…to a playboy bunny mascot?!" one of them shouted.

"She's not a rabbit, she's a fucking maniac!"

*CRACK!*

That dude with pincers on his forearms was quickly silenced thanks to a metal heel slamming into his cranium. She glanced to her left, and there stood that hand-covered guy who seemed to be bitching about how things weren't happening the way he wanted them to. This guy was the leader? What a joke.

"Hey, handjob!"

Eager to end this bullshit, she charged for the guy flexing her legs in full along the way.

"Don't you worry! I'll leave enough of you for the cops to throw in jail!"

"NOMU, KILL THIS BITCH!"

Within a second, the beast responded and now Mirko found her pathway blocked. Most other people would slow down. The rabbit hero was not most people. She sped up, more than ready to give this guy a thrashing first if it wanted it so badly.

"CAROLINA SMASH!"

Suddenly her path was clear again thanks to All Might coming in and cross chopping the thing over its head. The Nomu shifted its sights from Mirko to All Might in a millisecond, grappling with the behemoth of a man.

"I could've taken him!" Mirko cried as she rushed by the guy.

"I'm sure you could've but prioritize the leader!"

"Cockblocker!"

As robbed as she felt, Mirko kept right on running. When she was a good enough distance away, she jumped and reared her kick back for a strong kick. Halfway through her descent, she unleashed her attack. Then a cloud of purple smoke invaded her vision and suddenly, her kick was dangerously close to impacting the head of the dragoon hero. Before she could try maneuvering herself to avoid doing so, her entire body came to an abrupt halt in mid air. One glance to her right and Mirko saw her guess as to why was correct. Camilla had her arm up and used the Force to catch her. That precognition power of hers really was useful sometimes. As her feet got back to solid ground, she noticed all the kids in this group looking at her with different expressions…though that purple midget she wanted to punt for some reason. He seemed puntable.

"What the hell do you think this is? A street performance? Get your asses out of here!" she yelled.

Her sharp tone was enough to jolt some others into moving, namely all the kids who she didn't know. The six of them began to work in tandem to pick up the unconscious form of who she assumed was Eraserhead and move him. The three she did know however, were either moving slow or not moving all. And of course the one not moving at all was,

"Get out of here, Martian Girl," Mirko said without thinking. "You called us here, now you gotta let us handle things."

As the rest of the class began to move away, Camilla still stayed put. That just got Mirko more pissed off. Then confusion set in when she noticed Ryukyu wasn't exactly jumping in to back her up.

"Um…scales? This is the part where you tell the kid to get clear so they don't get hurt and all that shit. Right? Ryukyu? Come in now."

It was a few more seconds before Ryukyu finally spoke up again.

"I can't believe I'm about to do this," the dragonic heroine muttered. She then locked her gaze on the blind Padawan. "Camilla, I'm using my authority as a pro hero to authorize you for battle."

That elicited a reaction from everyone around her. The other kids looked at the number nine hero as if only her head had gone dragon. Camilla herself and Mirko were both surprised the idea even came up.

"Ryukyu, I really don't think that's a good idea," Camilla warned.

"Yeah. That's a really horrible idea! We are not bringing a kid in! Let alone that kid!"

"As much as I don't want it to be this way, we need her and her sabers. Especially if this monster is as dangerous as I've been told. But don't worry, I have a plan," the dragoon hero firmly said.

The only response Mirko could even think to give was a growl. This had to be some sort of cosmic joke. Someone up above or down below must have really had it out for her today because the more she thought about Camilla going into a potentially fatal battle made her feel… not good. Yeah the girl was used to it but the whole point of her going to U.A. was to get her un-used to it. All these thoughts and then some swirled in her head until she looked a bit to her right and saw the other students of this group.

They were still standing there like morons, stunned at what Ryukyu just did.

"What the hell are you waiting for? Go!"

Startled out of their shock, six of the eight remaining kids started moving. Izuku and Ochako, because of course it's them, stood still.

"Are you sure you know what you're doing?" Ochako asked, looking at Ryukyu. "I mean I know Camilla is super powerful and all but…that thing is…"

"Strong enough to take down All Might," Izuku finished. "That thing's been bioengineered to take on All Might at a hundred percent power. I don't know if-"

"Green bean." Mirko stopped him before he devolved into another muttering session. "Do you trust us?"

"O-of course I do!"

"Then trust that we got this handled. All of us. You got it?"

Izuku looked at Camila with concern who flashed a similar look back his way. A moment later, the fear hardened into one of determination.

"I've got my reservations, but I'll be alright, you two. Promise."

Clenching his one fully-functional fist, Izuku nodded his head reluctantly. Ochako followed suit then the both of them turned to rejoin their classmates. When the rest of them saw that only they had come, they turned back to see Camilla going in the wrong direction with Ryukyu and Mirko.

"She's not seriously gonna try to fight with them, is she?! Does she have a death wish?!"

Kyoka ignored Minoru and looked back again. Yeah Camilla was staying but the two pros weren't exactly pushing for her to leave.

"I guess they think she can help," Kyoka surmised.

"How? By getting herself flattened into a pancake like teach here almost was?"

Fumikage pushed a hand down on Dark Shadow's head, silencing him.

"I don't understand any of this. And I understand Sharro even less. But she gave us her word that she would explain once this whole ordeal is over with."

"Explain? What's there to explain?" Hanta asked as he adjusted his one handed grip on Aizawa's leg.

"I think we're asking the wrong people, ribbit."

Tsuyu's eyes made a ninety degree turn and her sight was locked onto the two students who knew the girl before U.A.

"Uuuhhhhh…." Izuku immediately looked nervous while Ochako kept her lips curled in.

"I have two questions. You two have known Camilla much longer than we have. Question one: is there something about her that she's keeping from us?"

This was so not good. If it weren't for the fact that they were still carrying their teacher up the stairs, Izuku would have been frozen in place trying to keep himself from sweating an entire gas tank's worth of fluids. Ochako was faring better but not by much. She at least tried to come up with a viable excuse. Choosing to add Fumikage and Kyoka to the mix of this secret later was already a big enough step for Camilla today. And she was certain she didn't want anyone else involved if she could help it.

"That's Camilla's business," was the best Ochako could say. "If you wanna talk about her, then it's best to take it to her directly, when this is all over with."

Hopefully, that would be enough to keep the frog girl satisfied.

"Fair enough I suppose. But maybe you know this. Why did Mirko call her Martian Girl?"

'SON OF A BITCH!'

"How do you like him, oh powerful number one?!"

Not at all would have been the answer All Might threw this Tomura guy's way if he were able to. Instead, he found his muscles being pushed to their limits trying to gain some ground on this guy. After a few rounds of trying to punch each other, All Might found himself locked in a grapple with the Nomu. It was a rare day when someone could match him in raw strength alone. This had to be one hell of a quirk. Though now that he thought about it, how do strength and this guy's physical appearance correlate in the slightest? Just what was this thing? And how was it not even flinching whenever he did land a hit on it? Were the muscles just that powerful?

"In case you're wondering, his quirk makes him the perfect match for you. It's called Shock Absorption. The perfect tool for punches like yours, wouldn't you say?"

That was his quirk? Then…what about his strength? Was this villain trying to say this monster was naturally this strong? Or was he on some kind of drug enhancement? All Might wasn't left with much of a choice. He was going to have to push himself to one hundred percent of his power. Being so short on time, he knew he was going to be in for it with Recovery Girl. But that was problem one.

"Now perish, All Might by-"

"It's not alive!"

The young Padawan's voice carried enough for the pros and villains to all hear. All Might, still struggling to match the beast in strength, turned his head ever so slightly to try and listen.

"That monster isn't alive. Not really, anyway. I can sense at least some sort of emotional activity from everyone in here, except that creature. The way it moves, the way it sounds, the sheer power I can see within it, all of it points to one thing. This...Nomu or whatever it's called, it's no-longer a living thing. It's just…a weaponized husk."

All Might and Mirko looked at the beast with new looks. Though all three of them felt a common jolt of shock course through them, their dominant emotions were different.

Ryukyu looked at the beast with sympathy.

Mirko's excitement seemed to hone onto Nomu like a heat-seeking missile.

As for All Might, fear is what seemed to creep up his spine as he started to put two and two together. But that passed like a calm breeze. Now he had just been giving the solution to problem two. He was afraid of hurting this creature by going all out. With his fists trying to clench, he made his decision.

"Thank you for that, Young Sharro."

The symbol of peace dug his shoes into the concrete he stood upon as firmly as he could as he began to push back with a new fire lit under his ass. If this thing truly was some sort of bio-hybrid zombie monster thing, then the only act of heroism that could be done for it was obvious. If only it weren't so painful.

"Now I know holding back would be a foolish choice!"

In an effort to redirect the fight in his favor, All Might yelled and pushed trying to get the Nomu off balance. Even the slightest opening would be something he could capitalize on. The Nomu was not making it easy.

"He doesn't have much time left," Ryukyu whispered. "According to him, he's only got minutes."

That was unfortunately what Camilla was worried about. All Might wasn't here in the first place for a reason after all. Now her only hope was that she could hold out long enough for this fight. She could sense the annoyance of both the two pro heroines next to her regarding the matter, and she would be lying to herself if she said she wasn't a bit annoyed by this problem too. But there was more than one of those.

Right now, another one was forming as more villains started to get back up and prime themselves to go another round. They did come here for a reason after all, and they were stubborn enough to keep trying after getting knocked down multiple times. Either that or fear of what their so-called leader would do to them was winning over their rationality right now. Either way, they needed to be dealt with.

"Then let's make sure he gets those minutes."

The blind redhead moved her arms so her cloak fell off her shoulders and crumpled at her feet. Then she called her own saber to her hand and used both to grip it. One press and that green blade ignited once more with its familiar noise overtaking hers, Ryukyu's, and Mirko's ears. The three of them all looked in the same direction and the limping horde of villains was starting to make their approach.

Ryukyu raised her front leg, fully ready to fight hand to hand. Mirko leaned forward, eager to pounce like the animal she took after. Camilla's grip on her sword tightened as the Force granted her sight of these villains the lights within them.

All together, the three of them rushed into the fight.

All Might could hear the various screams, grunts, and cries of pain of various villains from what he could only assume was the work of the three females behind him. It did act as a sort of motivator for him. They were giving it their all, the least he could do was the same. So he decided to change up his tactics. Rather than push, he sidestepped, making Nomu rush forward in his momentum. Then the symbol of peace got in from behind the beast, locked his hands around his torso, and suplexed the creature with all he could muster. The Nomu's head slammed down into the concrete so hard a crater formed like a small meteor had fallen to Earth. Getting back up to his feet, All Might raised a fist and threw it down, trying to land a hit on Nomu's head. But the creature swiftly dodged and threw a strong punch of his own right into the left side of All Might's chest, right where his old battle wound was.

All Might could feel a good amount of blood pass by his lips. He fought through the familiar taste of copper and looked up just in time to see another punch fly for him. It hit on his solar plexus harshly. All Might was stunned long enough for Nomu to lunge forward.

*SHHIIIIIIINK!*

Only for it to literally freeze inches away from the top ranked pro. Both of its legs and its right arm became trapped in thick layers of ice thanks to none other than the son of the number two hero.

"One of these low-level thugs divulged to me that these villains have a plan to take out All Might. Please. The symbol of peace would never be taken out so easily."

Clutching his chest, All Might stepped back and nodded to Shoto in thanks.

"You did well, young Todoroki. But better this fight be left to us pros rather than risk you children. Rejoin your classmates near the front entrance."

"What about Camilla?" Shoto asked in return. "If that's true then why is she in the fight alongside Ryukyu and…I've heard of the rabbit hero but her name slips me."

"Mirko," All Might answered. "And I'm not at liberty to divulge why she's been authorized to fight."

Shit. He hoped that wouldn't be an issue. Kids see just one of their own doing something and then they wonder why no one else can join in. Keeping this secret was turning out to be just as big a pain as One For All. He looked to his right and saw his two fellow pros and the Jedi student handling their own perfectly fine against their respective enemies. Ryukyu was using various styles of kung fu to expertly evade the thugs' attacks and dish out some solid hits back at them. Not many people knew that Ryukyu was a master of the Chinese martial arts. They only looked at her and saw her amazing quirk. All Might didn't even know that until after they started talking more often. It was quite surprising and exciting to learn.

Mirko had set her sights on that Tomura guy, though she seemed to be having trouble getting near him thanks to that portal villain working seemingly in sync with each other. As he watched her, All Might couldn't help but observe the almost feral nature of the rabbit hero's expression. He remembered talking with her too at that moment. They had a conversation about why she acts so much more brazen than most other pros. Mirko's answer left him with a new sense of respect for her. Apparently, she made it a point to live every day as if it were her last. No one knew how much time they got and all that. So that way when it was time for her to clock out of this life, she could do it with no regrets. All Might admired that mindset. It was rare. And Mirko was showing here and now why that attitude had gotten her this far. No matter how many surprise attacks Tomura tried to land on the heroine, she dodged them without fail. Had it not been for Kurogiri, there wouldn't be a stalemate.

Then his eyes drifted over to Camilla. She faced down her own group of villains who felt cocky enough to take her on. Boy she proved them wrong. Watching her through a screen was one thing. Live and in person? It was completely different. Villains charged her but the young Jedi dispersed them with the utmost ease. It showed with every step she took that her level of skill was the sort of thing only experience could grant. She was dispatching villains with little effort, and she was being careful about it. The Force allowed her to avoid attacks easily and her other abilities sent the careening across the concrete. Very sparingly, she used her lightsaber and it was only for a slash across the shoulder or something. The pain from such a blow seemed to be enough to keep them down. If it wasn't, a solid push from the Force seemed enough to render them out of the fight.

Camilla Sharro was indeed a trained soldier but Shoto couldn't be allowed to know that yet.

"Young Todoroki, I know this may seem odd. But I need you to trust me on this. You've already done well freezing this beast in place. Now please, head for the entrance and assist your classmates. Your ice may be useful in nursing Thirteen's wounds."

Hearing another hero was hurt was enough to put some urgency into Shoto as he looked to the top of the stairs. But his eyes couldn't help but track back to Camilla.

"Go now! Listen to your teacher!" All Might shouted.

That seemed to do the trick; although. it took a few seconds longer than preferable. Either way, Shoto headed for the staircase. All Might kept his eyes locked onto the Nomu, while away from him, the three females kept up their own fight.

And it was a fight Tomura was starting to get really sick and tired of.

Mirko was hot on his tail and she wasn't letting up. No matter how many times she got deflected or pushed back, she kept on charging back in like a feral beast. First, it was Eraserhead's annoying quirk, and now it was this woman's annoying tenacity.

"Kurogiri! What the hell are you doing?! Get her away from me!"

"Too late, bad touch!"

The rabbit hero was already in the air and readying her leg to come down in a powerful kick.

"LUNA FALL!"

It was coming down like a meteor strike at terminal velocity. Rather than impact his face, a doorway of purple smoke materialized right before the rabbit hero's foot could make contact. Before she could maneuver herself out of the way, Mirko fell through the warp gate. The hope was for the hero to slam that attack into the kid they stupidly let fight with them, but alas, it was useless. The damn brat jumped back and out of the way before Mirko made a crater where she once stood.

"Dammit! I can't believe I fell for that!" Mirko yelled as she straightened herself back up.

The three present females of this group of fighters were now regrouped together again. The extra fodder Tomura had brought along were already back on the ground showing just how useless they truly were. No matter. It was annoying, but this fight was nowhere near done yet. He could still see his goal within his reach. He turned to look at the frozen form of Nomu. It was time to show these hero morons what they were up against.

"Nomu. That's enough. Break free," he calmly said.

Right after the command was given, the ice that trapped Nomu began to violently crack. More and more it did so until finally it broke free. But as it did, its left arm and both of its legs broke clean off its body as well. All Might, Ryukyu, Camilla, and Mirko all winced at the sight of it but that look did not last long. Not even a blink later, muscles began to form and grow from the severed wounds. They kept doing so until both legs and the missing arm were now there again as if they were never gone at all.

The only one who was confused as to how was All Might.

"What?! But you said his quirk was Shock Absorption!"

"I did. But who said that was his only quirk? He also has Super Regeneration."

At the mention of that particular saying, All Might froze in his breath. There was no way. It wasn't possible. It just couldn't be. The guy was dead. He made sure of it damn near six years ago. But this creature was right there before him, exhibiting that it was in fact the truth. It had strength, it had healing, it had…something with a quirk like Super Regenerations shouldn't have.

"Do you get it now, All Might? This creature is the one thing you can't beat!" Tomura boasted yet again. "The ultimate being now exists, and its sole purpose is to take you down and the society you helped create will follow!"

"For an ultimate life form, it's sure having a hard time re-growing its fingers."

Tomura went silent at the jab. Then his eyes focused on Nomu, its hand to be precise. The damn hero was right. Nomu was missing two of its fingers. Now he remembered. That telekinetic girl got a hit on Nomu with those weird swords of hers. And that slash wound she was able to inflict also was also still very much there

'I didn't realize it until she pointed it out, but she's right! The hits she leaned on Nomu aren't healing! Why? The only possible way to cancel out a regeneration quirk that strong is…'

Suddenly Tomura was eying those two swords the blind brat wielded much closer.

'How hot are those blades?! What the hell kind of school would be stupid enough to give a kid weapons that powerful! It's not fair! This was my game to win!'

Slowly and with a new sense of fury, Tomura rose to his feet, never taking his sight off the girl.

"What….the hell….ARE YOU?!"

A flash of a moment passed and a doorway of purple smoke appeared right in front of Camilla; Tomura's hand and head shot through it. Camilla reached for her swords but Mirko reacted faster. Before Tomura's hand reached Camilla's face, the rabbit hero's foot connected with the side of his hand with a powerful roundhouse kick. Mirko could swear she felt some of the bones in his hand crack against the top of her foot. As he grabbed his broken hand in pain, Tomura was for the second time that day, pushed back by something unseen, and sprawled out the other side of the portal by Kurogiri's body.

"It may be best for us to retreat," the portal creator advised. "We didn't anticipate more heroes than All Might being here. And these children are obviously far more skilled than we believed."

The hand nursing his broken one reached up and began to furiously scratch at Tomura's neck. It itched. Everything was going wrong, and it made him furious.

"…this wasn't how it was supposed to happen. We weren't supposed to be interrupted. Those two pro bimbos weren't supposed to be here at all. And that blind brat…she hurt Nomu in a way that won't allow him to regenerate. Nothing about this makes any damn sense! She's a damn hacker! That little bitch is hacking my game and it's not fair!"

The three pros and the Jedi Padawan grew to new levels of discomfort as this "leader" of the villains began to whine about his problems like a bratty child and start to furiously scratch at his neck with his free hand. Was this seriously how this guy was gonna act? All that bravado, ego, and gloating just down the drain because things weren't going exactly as he wanted them to? This wasn't an evil villain. This was a man-child throwing a tantrum.

"Tomura, what do you wish to do?" Kurogiri asked.

"I want her," was his immediate answer. "The blind girl. She's a cheating hacker with that quirk of hers. But she could still have her uses if she belonged to me."

No one on the opposing side liked the way this hand villain said that. Least of all the symbol of peace.

'Shit. Sharro just became a target.'

This had to end now. If it didn't, the time he had left would expire and he'd be useless. Mirko and Ryukyu were powerful heroes, but he knew for a fact, they couldn't handle this thing by themselves.

"Nomu, forget All Might. Get the girl. Alive please."

With wicked timing, Nomu moved again and only passed by All Might rather than towards him.

Alarms went off in Camilla's head once more due to the Force. She began to raise her lightsaber to try and defend herself. Mirko and Ryukyu in kind tried to move and shove Camilla out of the way so they were the targets rather than her. But in the end, this time none of them were fast enough to match Nomu's speed. It brought down a clenched fist and a large bang shook the U.S.J. with a cloud of dust following from the impact.

Unfortunately, the journey to rejoin their classmates at the front door wasn't as easy to accomplish as hoped. There were still a lot of villains still conscious and looking for a fight. And now a good sized group of them were huddled together. They must have thought it was easy pickings because forward they all charged. And just as easily, if not more, they were pushed or struck away by either a shadowy claw, soundwaves, and the tongue Ochako could swear was a whip. The villains dropped like flies and Ochako adjusted her grip on her homeroom teacher. Even though Camilla's bacta looked like it was working, Aizawa was still out cold. Even if he did wake up, it was more likely he'd still be unable to fight. So they were still on their own. She just wished she had her sabers so she could help out more. Then again her thighs still burned from before. She wouldn't be much use even if she was armed.

Ochako's eyes and thoughts trailed back to Camilla. As she watched that green saber swing and the Jedi wielding it move, she couldn't help but feel…weak. She had her own horde of villains to fight off but so did everyone else here. And they looked like they were all ready for more except her. She was better than this. At least she thought she was. But one fight, if it could barely even be called that, was all it took to wear her down to near fumes. It was sad. She could do better. She would do better. Once she survived this stupid day.

"Uraraka, look out!"

She was so tired, she couldn't even register Izuku's voice crying out to her. She glanced to her left. There was a villain from before with a helmet over his head and his fingertips were all gun barrels. The manic smile from this villain haunted Ochako's eyesight until more noise came from the right and grew louder.

*BOOM!*

"DAMMIT! GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY, ROUND FACE!"

True to his quirk, Katsuki made an explosive entrance, sending the gun-fingered villain away with a large blast. The heat singed Ochako's face a little bit and she squinted from the bright light it caused. When both of those sensations faded, she heard more action coming from behind her. The villains taking on Momo and Kyoka had shifted their sights to the second redhead of their class. Eijiro had his whole body hardened and easily dispatched the villains with a few good stomach and head blows.

"Hey Bakugo! Kirishima! Nice entrance!" Hanta said, happy to see more of his class alive.

Eijiro was the first to acknowledge him. "Yeah I'm happy you're alright!" Then he winced once he saw the tape boy's wrapped up arm. "Whoa. Dude what happened to you?"

"Don't worry about it." Hanta waved it off. "Mr. Aizawa got it way worse than this."

It was here that Eijiro finally noticed that some of his classmates were holding something, and that something was their teacher. Once he saw how bad he looked, it looked like all the energy and pep he had from taking down those villains just drained out of him like a leaky faucet.

"Is he…?" Eijiro couldn't bring himself to finish.

"He's gonna be fine," Momo assured her classmate. "I don't know what but Sharro gave him something that healed the more grievous wounds."

"No-eyes?" Katsuki was sure listening now and growling to boot. "Where is she? I wanna thank her personally for not telling us this shit was gonna happen."

"She's fighting."

A third new voice sounded off. Now the kids all looked to see Shoto approaching.

"What do you mean Sharro's fighting?" Eijiro asked.

Shoto's first move in answering was turning back to look at the fight and the others followed. They immediately locked their sights onto the green lightsaber swishing around. She seemed to be holding her own just fine. It was a small relief to Ochako but nowhere near big enough. Hopefully, none of these guys would ask too many questions. Though at this point, she feared it may be a lost cause.

"I overheard a few things. Apparently, that monster was specially engineered to best All Might. It's somehow been given more than one quirk to do it with. Ryukyu and Mirko have given Camilla authorization to fight with them. I assume it's because of her arsenal of abilities but…it still doesn't make sense," Shoto informed them.

It didn't make sense to many of them either by the looks of it. Ochako's feeling of relief was gone and she correctly assumed Izuku was just as scared for their alien friend as she was. Thankfully, the focus seemed to be on something else.

"More than one quirk?" Eijiro wondered. "Shouldn't that be impossible?"

"As ridiculous as it sounds, sticking around and observing isn't in our best interest right now," Momo tried to get everyone back on track. "Let's keep moving."

"Yeah! I'm all for getting away from danger right now!" Minoru cried, wanting to start running again.

They all seemed to be in agreement, save for one.

"Screw this! I'm gonna go kick their asses!"

Rather than head for the staircase, Katsuki turned away from the rest of them and started to walk straight for the plaza.

"Bakugo wait! If what Todoroki is saying is true, then we should just get out of here! They got this!"

Though Eijiro was being logical, Katsuki's head almost never leaned towards logic.

"If they're stupid enough to let a frickin blind girl fight against these villains than letting the rest of us fight shouldn't be asking for too much! I'm gonna show those bastards just what happens when they mess with me!"

"Does he just not hear anything but his own voice?!" Kyoka asked anyone in no particular.

Ochako asked herself the very same question in her head. The guy just heard with his own ears that there was a monster specifically made to end All Might's life and Katsuki still wanted to fight solely because Camilla was allowed to. She wanted right then and there to let go of Aizawa and march right over to drag him by his ear if she had to go back to them. But someone was already ahead of her on that.

"Bakugo, come on, man! Think about this!"

"Screw off, shitty hair! If No-eyes can fight then-"

Whatever declaration of superiority nonsense he had ready to go was cut off as he felt something grab his arm and tug him backwards, forcing him to stop walking. He looked back as if expecting to see Eijiro there and ready to blast him away, but instead, to his own surprise, there was Izuku, grabbing his arm that currently had no gauntlet on it. His anger spiking, Katsuki raised his other arm and began to spark off a tiny explosion.

"First and last warning, Deku. Let me go, or else-"

"Just shut up, Kacchan."

Leaning to the right, Ochako got a good look at Izuku's face. Like Katsuki, her expression morphed to surprise as she looked at Izuku's angry gaze, seemingly freezing the explosive boy in place. Though clear and growing anger was present on the blonde, the popping sparks just ceased.

"We were given orders to run by Ryukyu and we are going to follow them. That means you too."

"She didn't give me any damn orders so shut the fuck-"

"You can't win against them, Kacchan. That monster is built to fight All Might at a hundred percent. It would destroy you in a matter of moments."

Katsuki began to growl.

"Are you calling me weak, Deku? Think long and hard before you answer."

Normally the response would be a sputter and quickly taking the statement back. Instead Katsuki got something else.

"Yes. You are."

Behind him, Ochako and nearly everyone else watched in surprise as Izuku showed backbone to Katsuki that they weren't used to seeing.

"We're all weak right now against that thing."

"That's fucking it. Deku, I'm going to-"

"What? You're going to what? Try to hurt me? Kill me even? I don't care how much you threaten me, right now. I've had to deal with people trying to kill me all day so dealing with you will be no different."

Brown eyes were wider than they had ever been before as Ochako looked onto this scene with absolute shock. He was doing it. Izuku was actually standing up to Katsuki and calling him out for his violent behavior, even going as far to compare him to the same villains that tried to kill them moments ago. She knew it was accurate and it was briefly euphoric watching Katsuki react to that declaration.

Though, it was only for a moment, and the raw rage came flooding back into his burning red eyes.

"You fucking calling me a villain?" he snarled as he jerked his arm free.

"No," Izuku quickly answered. "I'm telling you, Kacchan. We have orders. And I'm gonna follow them no matter how much you don't want me to. Camilla's been given permission to fight but that was for reasons I can't disclose to you. You wanna keep complaining? You wanna keep whining about why you think you deserve to fight? I don't care! For once in your life, just shut up and realize that this fight is beyond you!"

He was close. Ochako could tell. Katsuki looked like he was one millimeter away from unleashing on Izuku. Hell the smallest part of her kind of wanted him to attack first so it would justify her beating the shit out of him. Alas, sense in its smallest form caused Katsuki to look around. That's right. It wasn't just Izuku who had these thoughts. From the looks on everyone else's face, they all believed as he did. Looking back, Katsuki watched as All Might wrestled with that monstrosity, and he seemed to finally be seeing things from a viewpoint that wasn't fueled by his ego. Maybe the shock of hearing Izuku talk to him like that for the first time in literally ever was the cause, but it did get him to start stepping away from the fight and towards the staircase. As he brushed by Izuku, he leaned over and growled into the green-headed boy's ear.

"Just you wait until we're alone, Deku. This conversation is not over."

With that, he walked away but not without shoving Izuku out of his way first. Then, he walked past the others without a word. Eijiro tried to impart some reassuring words but he went ignored.

"Asshole," Kyoka muttered.

"Forget about it, let's just keep-"

*CRASH!*

Before Fumikage could finish his sentence, another loud noise followed by a powerful gust of wind battered the student's bodies and eardrums. All of them twisted their heads around to the plaza to see that most of it was engulfed in a huge cloud of dust, concealing everything and everyone from sight.

"What the crapballs was that?!" Mineta cried.

"Oh no…Camilla!" Izuku suddenly got very afraid.

That feeling was mirrored by most everyone else looking at the scene. Slowly, the dust began to clear. Rather than the sight of their classmate splattered across the pavement like they were fearing, all they saw was the Nomu by itself. That wasn't much better.

"Are you hurt, Young Sharro?"

The sudden sound of All Might's voice startled every one of the grouped students. They looked over and there; he looked worse for wear and held a stunned Camilla in his arms. Gently, he set her down and let her regain her balance.

"N-no. No I'm fine," she firmly said. "I can keep going."

"Are you certain? Young Sharro, you don't need to keep pushing yourself."

Camilla readjusted herself and got her breathing under control while Ryukyu and Mirko rushed over to check for injuries. Thankfully, there were none thanks to All Might's quick movements.

"Yes I do," she affirmed. "You heard what the leader said. My lightsabers can cancel its regeneration powers. So that means we can finish it off. But it's too fast. I don't know how but we need to wear it down."

"You shoulda just chopped its head off while it was still frozen to the ground," Mirko said.

Saying that got quite a few looks thrown her way by the nearby kids, but the rabbit hero just rolled her eyes.

"The thing is basically a walking puppet. It's been dead for who the fuck knows how long," she reminded them.

It was new information for Shoto, Katuski, and Eijiro, but the others were there when Camilla revealed it to Ryukyu. Still though, it felt…wrong condoning such an act, even if it was considered an act of mercy.

"We can do this together."

All Might's voice drew Camilla to look up at him. Through her vision, she could definitely notice the multiple lights of his Force connection flickering to keep their intensity as they faded at an alarming rate. He had to be pushing himself to keep his form and his power going. Could he really do this?

"How?" She asked.

The symbol of peace then kneeled down to be on eye level with the young Padawan.

"How much do you trust me, young Sharro?"

"Completely," Camilla replied with no hesitation.

With that, All Might gently pulled Camilla closer and whispered into her ear his idea. When he pulled away, the young Jedi thought about it. Yeah, she trusted him but to trust him with what that was…nerve wracking. But sensing the swirling emotions from her classmates didn't really leave with her much choice. This fight needed to end fast and this was a quick way to do it. With a deep breath, her left hand went to her belt and her master's lightsaber was plucked from its clip. Then, she held it up for All Might to take.

"I expect it back."

All Might took it into his hand and rubbed his thumb over the weapon before sliding it into his back pocket.

"You have my word. Just be ready."

"Oh I will."

With a nod, All Might stood back up straight and looked to the other children, and then to Ryukyu and Mirko.

"Make sure nothing happens to them," he instructed.

Ryukyu and Mirko both gave him a nod of affirmation. Both heroines were more than capable of upholding that task.

Walking forward, All Might stared Nomu down. Tomura and Kurogiri stood together on its side.

"Now you think you're gonna take on all three of us?" Tomura jeered. "You should just give up, All Might. It doesn't matter what kind of help you have. As long as we have Nomu, then the day is gonna end with the same result. You'll be dead, and that little blind bitch will be my new party member whether she likes it or not. Just face it. You've lost."

Just a minute ago, he was angry that Nomu could be hurt; now, Tomura was trying to act tough and smug and make it look like victory was already his. All Might knew what that meant. He was desperate. He wanted so badly for things to go his way, and he didn't want to look like he wasn't in control of things. He was no different than most of the low-tier thugs All Might put away like it was a routine Tuesday.

"Kurogiri, get ready," Tomura commanded.

"Gladly."

The mist from Kurogiri's body began to expand. This was it. All Might had to act now. Summoning every ounce of strength he had left, he pushed One For All forward and dashed right for Nomu; the beast mimicked his actions. Both threw a punch and their fists collided. The shockwave from the impact pushed the wind pressure away in a 360 degree shockwave. Then another punch did the same, then another, and then a rapid volley of punches were sent back and forth from Nomu and All Might together. The impacts were so powerful Tomura had to jump away from them as did Kurogiri.

"Didn't you hear me?! He has Shock Absorption!"

"I heard you loud and clear!"

Everyone nearby had to shield their eyes as the impacts from each other's fists grew stronger. It would have been amazing to witness if the wind force would allow them to keep their eyes open.

"You said that power was Shock Absorption not nullification! And that means there's a limit to how much punishment he can take!"

There wasn't much fuel left in the tank. All Might was running on fumes because he could feel, however slightly, that he was literally beginning to steam again. God how he hated this feeling. Pushing himself too far. Recovery Girl was going to have his hide for sure.

'Dammit. I was right! Already I can feel my power waning! But I can't stop. I won't stop! Not when my students and fellow heroes are in danger like this! It was my blunder that made this horror drag on for those kids as long as it did! Stopping you here and now, is the debt I owe them! AND I INTEND TO PAY IN FULL!'

Gritting his teeth, All Might pressed his attack sending punch after punch into Nomu's body. Even though it may not look like it to most others, he knew where he was aiming with his hits. If he wanted to wear down this absorption quirk, he needed to land hits on just the right places and fast. Nomu was matching him blow for blow right now and the impacts from their attacks were rendering most everyone else unable to move, including Kurogiri who had said out loud the force of the attacks rendered him unable to use his quirk to get close. Perfect. It was just the two of them. That bought him just the tiniest amount of time and he could capitalize on it.

Behind him, the rest of the kids struggled to keep their footing as the wind battered them. But they still kept their eyes forward, unable to take their eyes off the number one hero fighting something like this. As they watched in awe, Camilla pushed her way through the powerful gusts and prepared herself. If this plan was going to work, it had to be timed just right. All Might told her he only had less than a minute left of One For All for today, so it was going to have to be fast. Lucky for her, thanks to Mirko and Ryukyu pushing her on Mandalore Island, her Force Speed could last a lot longer now. With her right hand gripping her lightsaber, she crouched down and prepared herself to run.

More blood passed through All Might's teeth as the fists flurried forward. It felt like he was fighting a mountain. Then it happened. The Nomu flinched. It was tiny but it flinched. Then more flinches came. Suddenly, the Nomu was being forced backwards. This was it. His chance was here. Now he had to press forward and run Nomu's battery empty before his own depleted.

"You were made specifically to fight me, eh big guy? Well too bad you were only built to endure one type of physical trauma! As miniscule a weakness it may be, it's still a weakness! Even if you can withstand me at one hundred percent, then I'll just have to go past that to stop you!"

Everything hurt, but All Might still didn't stop. Now the Nomu was being forced backwards by his punches. As the symbol of peace pressed forward, he could only make out the Nomu's form rather than everything being destroyed in his wake like the fake trees and concrete. One solid uppercut to the beaked monster's chin sent it flying. All Might jumped after it and grabbed it by its arm. Then he started to spin around as fast as he could and threw Nomu straight down. The beast fell like a meteor, creating a web of cracks in the ground around the point of impact. When All Might crashed back down himself, he noticed the Nomu had slowed down considerably.

"It's now or never," he muttered as he turned to his left. "Young Sharro!"

With no words, All Might watched as Camilla began to move, using the Force to boost her speed yet again. Rather than run straight for the Nomu, she began to encircle it. Once he saw her lightsaber fire up in that familiar green, he reached into his back pocket and stared directly into Nomu's eyes.

"Whoever you once were, if you can hear me, just know that my actions are not out of malice or bloodlust," he explained as he pulled his hand back out. "I take this action because I wish to grant you the peace you have wrongfully been denied!"

*PSSSSHHHHEEEEW!*

The hilt suddenly increased in weight as the sapphire blade manifested. All Might's brief surprise that he noticed such a change was brief as his eyes remained locked on his target. He and Camilla were now in position.

Then they both rushed forward.

"At minimum, you deserve a proper rest!" Camilla cried in agreement.

"And having the courage to perform those acts of mercy, is what it means to go beyond!"

Gripping the hilt as best he could, All Might leapt forward and kept his eyes centered on the Nomu's waist.

"Plus!" Camilla shouted as she eyed Nomu's neck.

Almost in perfect sync with the number one hero, Camilla jumped straight for the beast and began to twist in midair as she reached a height over both its and All Might's heads.

The next moment came, and the two of them were mere inches away from each other, and they both began to swing.

"UUUUUUULLLTRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

As the two shouted together, one slash of green, then another of blue tore through Nomu. Both All Might and Camilla skid to a stop on opposite sides of each other. Once they reoriented themselves, they looked back.

Nomu had fallen to the floor, no longer in one piece.

The entire top part of its body had fallen away from its waist and thudded to the floor. Then the head rolled a few feet away from it before coming to a stop.

As she looked, Camilla bowed her head in respect. Now the monster could rest.

"You know…back in my hay day, it would've only taken me five hits to best it."

Her gaze turned back to All Might who stood tall with the blue lightsaber still activated in his hand.

"But today, it took over 300 blows to make sure our plan worked smoothly. Well done, young Sharro."

All Might lightly tossed the lightsaber Camilla's way. With a pull from the Force, its leather wrapped grip smacked back into the palm of her left hand. He had fulfilled his promise. That made her smile a bit. Then she looked back at him and that smile left her. The dim lights in his body showed that All Might's force connection had reached an all time low.

'He's out of time.'

Gripping both lightsabers, she kept them lit and turned to look at the villains. Tomura was shaking in rage while Kurogiri…it was difficult to read him. But Tomura's unstable anger made it difficult to predict what his next decision would be. Would he go quietly and swear revenge? Or would he try something stupid as a last ditch effort?

"You…" Tomura growled. "You cheated…All Might…and you…you fucking hacker. You cheated. You ruined everything I'd worked so hard for!"

Another tantrum was thrown her way but Camilla didn't care.

"Oh forgive me. I didn't realize it was rude for me to ruin your plans for today."

Behind her, Mirko watched the scene, impressed at the move All Might and Camilla just pulled off together. Seeing that Nomu wasn't moving, Ryukyu let loose a sigh of relief and looked back to the kids who were still there.

"Upstairs. Now," she commanded.

There wasn't any reason to deny her and thankfully no one did. All of them turned 180 degrees and made their way up the staircase with their injured teacher, leaving the pros and the Jedi alone in the plaza, facing down the two remaining villains. The job wasn't done until every villain was defeated. So they approached the plaza with every intent on ending this now.

Tomura was seething. This wasn't right. This was his game. He wasn't supposed to lose. Nomu was supposed to be his ultimate weapon. The anti symbol of peace. And it was done so quickly by All Might and a hacking blind bitch. It wasn't fair. None of it was fair. Was he lied to? All Might was supposed to be weaker but those punches he threw to push through Shock Absorption were anything but weak. Then those lightsabers completely gave zero fucks about Super Regeneration. In short, his plans were FUBAR'd.

The itch was back. His unbroken hand went to his neck and he started to scratch furiously in rage as he looked upon the sliced remains of Nomu.

"So what's your next move?"

He flinched upon hearing All Might speak to him.

"You were showing off all sorts of bravado earlier. Don't tell me it's all been taken away by me and one girl."

The redhead remained silent. But she did crouch down into the same ready position as before with those two swords of hers. Clearly they were ready for more. And if that wasn't enough, Mirko and Ryukyu were coming up from behind. The clencher of it, all of the villain fodder he brought with him were all rendered unconscious and useless.

It was a total TPK.

He hated All Might so much. But now…his eyes locked onto that blind girl and the scratching only intensified.

"You...if it weren't for you…I would've won. I would've cleared this level no problem. Nomu would still be alive. How dare you. This was supposed to be my victory. Mine. All of it was supposed to be mine! And you took it from me!"

The childish behavior was back, meaning it was more unclear what would happen.

"If I can't end this day by killing the symbol of peace…THEN I'LL SETTLE FOR YOU!"

With a scream, Tomura launched forward, Kurogiri trailing him as backup. Camilla focused her senses and got ready to move in defense. Ryukyu reached for her mask. Mirko already hopped forward ready to cave his skull in with her foot.

*BANG BANG!*

Before he even got halfway to her, Tomura fell over in pain as holes opened up in his shoulders and hands. Those were gunshots. Looking back towards the staircase, the three heroes made out the forms of more heroes at the edge of the staircase. Out in front of them was Snipe with a gun in each hand and firing off shot after shot, presumably aiming for more villains they couldn't see.

Then they looked back to Tomura who struggled to get up.

"Dammit! Kurogiri, get us out of here!"

Immediately, the portal villain obliged and began to swallow up Tomura within the mist his body created.

"Your name is Sharro, right hacker? Well you better believe I'm coming for you next time. You and All Might enjoy your victory. The next time we meet, you will die."

Before more gunshots could hit him, Tomura vanished along with Kurogiri, leaving the four of them alone in the plaza with a sliced up monster and dozens of knocked out villains.

*Ssshhhhhhhhp!*

The two lightsabers both switched off and Camilla fell to her knees, relieved and out of breath.

"It's over, right? It's finally over?"

Ryukyu approached and kneeled down, placing a gentle hand on the Padawan's shoulder.

"Yes. It's over."

Mirko walked over too with a smirk on her face then surveyed the area. Everyone was out, and everyone who didn't know about the big guy's dirty secret was far from eye's view.

"Alright, big guy. You're all clear," she said to All Might.

Taking her word for it, All Might's body became concealed in a cloud of steam. The sound of him collapsing within it concerned the three females as a coughing fit followed. Camilla got back up, and along with her two pro hero guardians, they approached All Might in an attempt to help him up. Once they were near him, Camilla returned her lightsabers to her belt and took All Might's hands into her own and gently helped him back to his feet.

His Force connection was dimmer than she'd ever seen it and it was growing darker. That fight really must have done a number on him.

"Young Sharro, I can't even begin to thank you for everything you've done today," All Might softly said.

Camilla smiled in return.

"I should be thanking you. You, Mirko, and Ryukyu prevented my vision from coming true today."

All three of the heroes were confused by that statement.

"Vision?" All Might asked.

"I'll tell you later. Promise."

Before another word could get out, a new figure made his way over in the form of Cementoss. He used his quirk to raise a wall of cement blocking All Might from view.

"Sharro, Ryukyu, Mirko, I must ask you to make your way back up to the entrance," Cementoss instructed. "I'll make sure All Might gets to Recovery Girl ASAP."

The gathered group promised to talk later once more before Cementoss took All Might away from the scene so his weaker form wouldn't be spotted by any unaware of it. More than ready to get out of this place, Camilla didn't resist as Mirko and Ryukyu led her around the wall and towards the staircase leading to the entrance. A few moments were spent looking around before the Jedi raised her hand and her cloak fluttered back into her grasp so she could put it back on. As they reached the bottom step and began to ascend up, they passed by plenty of villains who were injured and out cold.

And by one who was stirring back into consciousness.

"Thank you both. I was afraid my call didn't work."

"Oh it worked alright. Just keep that little trick reserved for emergencies, and I won't kick your ass. I hear your voice enough in my ears."

Typical Mirko to try and lighten the mood with her unfiltered sense of humor. It was working at least. A chuckle from Ryukyu was proof of that.

"From what we saw, you did good, Camilla" Ryukyu said.

"She's right, Martian Girl," Mirko agreed. "You made it through a shitstorm like this and you managed to do it without blowing your cover."

"Um…about that."

Both the pro heroines did not like how nervous Camilla was looking at this moment.

"I sort of…promised two more of my classmates I'd fill them in."

Mirko tugged on one of her ears, annoyed that this was already starting to happen. It hadn't even been one week, dammit!

"Oh what did you do?"

Camilla sighed. "I…may or may not have gotten a bit too rough back in the windstorm zone with some villains. Kyoka, Fumikage, and Fumikage's quirk, Dark Shadow, all saw and knew something was up. So I promised to tell them everything when this was over."

Ryukyu sighed. Okay, this wasn't preferable but it could've been a lot worse. There could've been a lot more kids there than just two and a sentient quirk from the sounds of it.

"Alright. We'll set something up later, but for now, let's just get you kids together and make sure no one got hurt too badly."

That was something to be agreed upon. Soon, they reached the top of the steps. Once she got there and began towards the door, the chatter Camilla heard coming up the steps all halted. Focusing outward, her Force vision picked up her entire class, already at the door getting looked over by the teachers. Aizawa was set on the floor next to Thirteen and the various pros were tending to them as well. Without hesitation, nineteen of the twenty students moved from their places and swarmed the young Padawan, shouting things at her. Here it came, the admonishing for chopping that thing into pieces so brutally.

"Holy crap!"

"That was awesome!"

"We all saw that final tag team move with you and All Might! Talk about epic!"

"Are you alright?!"

"Do you need anything?! Water?! Ice?!"

"I normally condemn such use of force but if the pro heroes authorized it then it must be commended!"

"That was scary!"

"EEEEYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Even without using his quirk, Present Mic was still known for having a voice that boomed only second to All Might's.

"Now all of you stop floodin' the lines with your questions! I know all of you want answers, but now isn't the time to get em'!"

"Present Mic is correct."

Now their eyes shifted downwards to look at Nezu with his arms behind his back.

"You all have gone through a terrible ordeal. As proud as I am to see you all handled it in a way that got you out alive, our first priority is to make sure you are all healthy and unharmed. So please, make your way outside to the bus and we'll bring you back to campus soon."

That was something all of them could agree with. Even Katsuki as he remained away from the group with his arms crossed and a glare going back and forth between Camilla and Izuku.

With Tenya taking charge, he instructed the class to move in an orderly fashion out the door while his signature chopping motion came back in full swing. As a class, they began to depart the U.S.J.

"Hold it you fucking heroes!"

Only to be stopped once more.

Camilla turned around, and in reflex, grasped her sabers into her hands. Ryukyu and Mirko turned back and readied themselves as one last villain made his stand. This guy wore a weird helmet, had gun barrels; his fingertips looked like he was about to topple over if one of the heroines so much as sneezed at him.

"What does this guy think he's doing?" Ryukyu asked, noticing his weak state.

"I ain't leaving this place without killing at least one of you!"

It would've been more intimidating if he wasn't about to drop. Here, it just looked pathetic. Mirko didn't even think this guy was worth wasting a kick on.

"Oh come on, you moron! Look around you! Your boss is gone and you're literally the only one of all your friends still standing. Just sit down and shut up."

The villain just shook his head, refusing to let go of this.

"No way, you rabbit bitch. Before I was dishonorably discharged, I was one of the best goddamn gunmen the Japanese police force ever had! They taught me even one man can still make something happen with a well placed shot!"

"Wait a minute…" Suddenly, Ryukyu looked closer at the guy as she began to recognize him. "Three years ago, the cop that was arrested and fired for excessive force. I remember you now. I was the one who brought you in."

"You've met this guy before?" Camilla asked.

"Sadly."

"Well as…touching…as this reunion is, can't we just knock him out or something?"

"Yes, please. The guy looks like he can barely stand, and he's still trying to fight a group of pros and twenty one more students. I'd be impressed if it weren't so damn sad."

"Don't talk about me like I'm not even here!" the villain cried. "Call me whatever you want! I know what I am! I'm a soldier with orders! And good soldiers follow orders!"

Everything stopped.

Nothing could be heard.

Not even her own breath registered as it grew faster and faster.

Upon hearing that sentence, everything Camilla could see faded away as he felt herself plunge into a hole of darkness. Her lightsabers fell loose from her grips and seemingly vanished into some void. That descent continued on for an uncertain amount of time before she finally felt something beneath her feet. Suddenly, in front of her wasn't that villain with fingertip guns, but five identical looking men with familiar shaped armor and blasters held firm in two hands.

"Execute Order Sixty Six."

"Clubs! Clubs, what are you doing?!"

"I'm sorry, commander. But I have my orders."

This couldn't be happening. Not again. Why was she back here again? This couldn't be the Force at work, could it? Why would it be so cruel as to make her relive this terrible day? No. This wasn't real. She wasn't here. As she kept repeating that to herself, the words from that day that haunted her echoed throughout the atmosphere of this unknown place as the trooper up front stepped forward and pointed his blaster right for Camilla's head.

"Good soldiers follow orders."

Camilla was sure. That voice was right in front of her.

For everyone else other than the blind girl, it happened in less than a second. One moment Camilla had fallen to her knees, breathing erratically and clutching her head like she was in pain. The next moment-

"GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

The scream took everyone by surprise. Camilla grabbed one of her lightsabers off the ground and dashed forward before anyone could stop her.

*PSSSSHHHHEEEEW!*

Now for everyone else, it was silent. The only noise heard was the humming of Camilla's weapon, and the pained attempts of the villain trying to breathe. Teachers, students, pro heroes, all of them stared at the scene unable to utter a peep. Some of them were half expecting the redhead to take off his hands like before.

Instead, horror overtook the atmosphere as they all witnessed the villain get run through with the blind girl's emerald saber.

They could see it sticking out through his back and the villain himself now looked like he was drowning on solid ground. The only noise coming from the villain's mouth right now were strangled breaths as life left his eyes. For a few moments, he looked like he was trying to fight to live, but that was lost seconds later, the eyelids closed and the villains' body slumped up to Camilla's never to move on its own again.

Feeling the corpse against her body seemed to make the Jedi finally snap out of whatever she had been stuck in. When she finally came to her senses, she realized what she had just done. Now she felt like she couldn't breathe. Once she deactivated her saber, the man's lifeless body fell to the floor and the weapon that had killed him followed.

Once again, the poor girl couldn't register anything. She couldn't hear the teachers trying to get the kids out the door and out of sight. She couldn't hear Mirko and Ryukyu trying to get her attention. All she made out was the husk of this human being lying on the floor and the light symbolizing his Force connection vanishing away. The amount of fear and confusion she could feel pouring off her classmates and friends brought the Jedi to her knees in anguish.

"Is this…all I am?"

Her whisper went unanswered.

A/N

Yeah…so…*throws out happy USJ ending*

What's gonna happen next? Tune in next time to find out! Same Jedi time! Same Jedi hour!

In all seriousness, the wait time for this one is because this was a very hard chapter to write. Not just because of the ending mind you, (I hate torturing my baby…sort of) But because I wanted there to be a good mix of things that did and didn't happen in canon. Ryukyu and Mirko were always going to be added to it, but I just hope I did a good enough job making the fight flow with all of them included. Maybe it didn't or maybe I'm my own worst critic. I don't know. You tell me in the comments.

Also if you head on over to archiveofourown you'll find some new art to go with this chapter!

But yes! I am back! I hope you all enjoyed the chapter and see you next time!
