In the wilds between Gondor and Mordor, Mickey and Donald felt themselves awaken rather roughly.
"Come along friends! Must go now!" Creeper told them in his slobbery voice. Mickey woke up Archimedes who was sleeping rather peacefully on a fallen limb. They got their backpacks on and started walking.
"Not the most hospitable of places to sleep, now, was it?" asked Donald.
"We knew what we were getting ourselves into and it provided enough cover for us," replied Mickey.
Meanwhile in the Forest of Fangorn a rather strange group were making their way to Isengard. Merlin was still riding upon Tod the giant fox while Shadowfax healed. Robin Hood and Grumpy rode on a horse together right behind him. Then there was King Stefan and Phoebus riding upon their respective steeds. Little John was too big for any horse and walked on his own two feet with the group and finally Aladdin on his horse, silent as a grave.
When they came to a clearing in the woods, they saw Gopher and Piglet having themselves a little picnic. The two woodlanders jumped for joy at the sight of the company.
"Hey everyone, we've been waiting for you!" exclaimed Gopher.
"We, got our butts kicked heavily last night. We track you rapscallions over more miles than I care to mention and we find you having a picnic!" exclaimed Grumpy in a bit of a scolding tone.
"We were able to save some beer for you!" offered Gopher in a tone that suggested helpfulness.
"Ooh, now you've got my attention," said Grumpy. They entered the now heavily damaged circumference of Isengard. The ground was now flooded which necessitated the need for Little John to carry Gopher on his shoulder and Piglet to be carried with Merlin upon Tod. They got up to Eeyore who told them about how he had gathered the remaining Ents together, how they had torn upon the dam and they fought Jafar's goblins, even with one of them getting set ablaze.
"It appears you and your tree brethren have done well, and what of Jafar?" asked Stefan.
"Why don't you ask him yourself?" asked a rather a sinister voice from up above. Standing upon the highest point in the tower was in fact Jafar. Even in defeat he was still a terrifying sight. Iago was sitting upon his shoulder.
"I know that you have fought well, most of you have fought in more battles than you'd care to admit, can we have peace, and counsel as we did once before?" he said.
"When you answer for the deaths of so many that you have caused!" answered Stefan bitterly.
"Jafar, you were deep in the Enemy's circles, what do you know?" asked Merlin.
"He knows an animal carries the Ring, he does not what kind, tell me, what comforting words did you send the one you surely sent to his doom? Know this, Merlin may be far too willing to sacrifice those closest to him!" he asked, his voice full of malice.
"Jafar, your staff is broken!" shouted Merlin, and sure enough Jafar's golden staff shattered in his hand.
"Perhaps you'd like to know more? I can provide that, he held up something that had previously been hidden in his robes.
Suddenly an arrow from the Company was loosed and got Jafar straight in the chest. He fell forward, Iago the parrot had enough sense to fly away.
"I'm getting out of here!" they heard him say as he flew away.
"Let that blasted bird go! There is now very little damage he can do!" Stefan ordered Robin Hood who had very clearly fired that arrow. They watched Jafar's body fall for so long, seemingly in slow motion until he was impaled on a small wheel. At the same time of his landing, a round object, the one he had presumably been holding landed in the water with a plop!
"It would appear that the filth he had caused will now wash away," observed Eeyore.
"Why on Middle Earth did you do that Rob?" asked Little John.
"I was worried that he might put a spell on us, I didn't know what he pulled out, I guess it was just instinct," his friend replied. Aladdin rode over to where the sorcerer's body now lay and gave it a push which turned the wheel and he made sure it kept going until Jafar was now completely underwater.
"That will increase the washing away of filth!" he said. Piglet looked upon the spot where the round object fell, he could see it through the water. Even though he knew he'd get wet, he slid off Tod and waded over to where it now lay and picked it up, almost entranced by it.
"Piglet, I will take that if you please!" Merlin said in a bit of a strict voice. Piglet knew he had to obey, he handed it to Merlin who then helped him back him onto the fox. They made to leave the wretched place.
"I daresay Isengard is now under your care Eeyore, you and the Ents," King Stefan told his new friend.
