Hello everyone, welcome to the next chapter of The Strawhat Marines. I think I like that name more than what I originally did so I am going to be going with it. Last time, we had Luffy struggle with something that he explains as knowing there are good and bad in people. Unfortunately for him, Buggy was the opposite of his friends in the red haired pirates. The plus side is Nami got close to him and it is looking like she is starting to look towards him as a reliable person. Someone brought up that Kumo was Bonney's dad. I am aware. It will be brought up when they meet him again. It was not Kumo's decision as I am making him unaware of his daughter was sold or anything in that stand point. Bonney will think her father has abandon her, her mother was not Kumo's wife but not a woman that he had a relationship with during his time with Dragon. She will not play a big part but she will have a part in some of Bonney's story. As for who sold her it will also be brought up. Luffy and crew made their way through the East Sea. The first stop was to the closest marine fort, in the Gecko Islands. On their way though, Luffy had a job he had to do. "Nami, how long until we are the archipelago?"

"Hmm, I would say in the about an hour. Why?" Nami questioned.

"I have to go see through with a request a friend has given me. Though I have a feeling that it will be difficult." Luffy explained as he took off his coat to get some training in.

After an hour and half, The Strawhat Marines arrived to the Gecko Islands, one of the islands in particular. This island housed Syrup Village. "Hey, Luffy we are here." Nami stated as she forested cliffs. "Why did you want to come here again?"

"We are about to see." Luffy said as he hopped towards the shore.

"This Island is protected by the Great Captain Usopp. If you are here to cause trouble then you best be prepared to battle with me and my 1000 men!" A voice called out.

"You mean you and those 3 kids?" Luffy called out as the Nami, Zoro, and Law landed onto the shore.

"We were found out!" The 3 kids popped up and ran away.

"Wait come back!" The other voice called out.

"Besides he has a marine coat on!" Nami called out annoyed at the stupidity.

"Oh, my bad!" A long nosed teen popped out of the bushes.

"Hahahaha, oh Usopp you are just like your dad said!" Luffy said laughing as the now stated Usopp looks at Luffy in a new light.

"You know my dad?" Usopp asked as he slowly walked forward before falling down the hill and landed in front of them.

"Yasopp constantly talked about you." Luffy said squating down in front of the boy.

"He did?" Usopp asked hopeful.

"Yep! Come on let's go get food." Luffy said as he pulled Usopp up and

Ussop and the strawhat crew sat at the restuarant talking about the Red-Haired Pirates and how they had changed Luffy's life. Nami was shocked that pirates had saved a village instead of plundered and murdered. Luffy laughed as Ussop exclaimed that he was so proud of his father. Ussop recognized the time and panicked. "Sorry guys, I got to go somewhere."

"Well, let me come with you. I have to make my round anyways." Luffy said as he signaled all his crew to head back to the ship.

"Sure, Kaya will enjoy your stories as well as mine!" Ussop stated as he turned to start moving towards the only mansion in the area.

Luffy continued to follow as he stretched his Haki out. His observation haki was trained to the absolute limit by garp that he can stretch it miles out. He had to in order to survive against his gramps. The blip on a nearby island out catch his attention. 'Hmm, we need to handle that. The blood thirst is high.' He thought.

As the approached, Luffy noticed Ussop sneaking to the side. "What are you doing?" Luffy asked as he continued to the mansion.

"Well, I am not technically allowed in." Ussop explained as he watched Luffy walk up to the manor gate.

"Hello, anyone home?" Luffy asked as he saw someone coming up.

"Hello, who might you be?" A man that resembled a sheep asked.

"I am Commodore Luffy of the marines. I heard that the lady of the manor was sick, so I brought my doctor/surgeon to help." Luffy stated as Law stepped up next to him.

"Oh joyce day. We have been trying to get a surgeon over since the Ms. Kaya had gotten sick. Klahadore will be overjoyed. Where are my manners, I am Merry. Please this way." Merry said as he opened the doors.

"This young man here was the reason we are here." Luffy said as he pointed to Ussop. "Please allow him to come see the person he wanted to be better."

"You did?" Merry asked skeptically. Sure he know the young boy was the reason Kaya smiled the last 6 months but he was known as a trouble maker. "As long as he does not cause any issues."

"I will give my word. Zoro, Nami make sure he does not cause issues." Luffy commanded as he felt malicious intent spike on the island as well as another landing on the beach.

"Yes, sir!" They called out knowing Luffy had a reason for his command.

"Right this way." Merry called out as he walked towards the manor.

Law walked ahead of the others as the walked up to a door and heard yelling. "Ms. Kaya, I insist that you eat. I will ensure that filth's brat will not bother you."

"Klahadore, please. Ussop is harmless he just comes by to tell me stories." Kaya called out.

"Please, he is probably just like his scum of a father and after your money." Klahadore stated.

"He isn't like that." Kaya argued back before coughing.

"Not good." Law said as he rushed into the room.

"Who are you?!" a butler with round glasses he pushed up with his palm asked. "Leave! Or I will have the guards come and take you out."

"I wouldn't do that. Room Shambles" Law said as he started to separate the food and Kaya's torso.

"WHAT IS HE DOING?!" Merry asked as he tried to rush in but Luffy stopped him.

"Don't. Law is one of the best doctors in the marines. It is because of his devil fruit that he can do this. Relax Kaya will be fine." Luffy said stopping anyone from moving.

"Hmm, you have been poisoned." Law muttered as the girl stared at him as she heard. "Frost grass is a rare herb... Luffy, seal the island and manor."

"On it. Silent Castle" Luffy said as he created a massive dome around the island. "Now do not move. Anyone who leaves the island will be deemed a threat."

"Room Shambles" Law said as he put Kaya back together. "She has been poisoned by a rare herb. It grows mostly Grand Line on Keptor."

"Keptor?" Nami asked as she hadn't known the islands had names in the Grand Line.

"It is a winter island close to the entrance of the Grand Line. The herb is known to chill the body which is very helpful for fevers. The downside is it can only be used for a certain time before it starts to chill the body too much leading to a weakened body, a chilled body, and depression due to the chill. The person feels like that they are never going to get better." Law said as he turned to the other butler. "Now, care to explain to me why the flakes were put in?"

"It must have been the cooks. We will have them executed." Klahadore stated as a chill ran up his spine.

"I do not think so. My doctor was asking why you put those in her food." Luffy asked before he truly looked at the man. "SHIT! LAW! GET EVERYONE OUT OF THE ROOM!"

"Wait LUFFY!" Nami called out before Law used his fruit to teleport all of the people except Luffy and Klahadore to their ship.

"Where have you taken all of them?" Klahadore asked.

"Cut the act Kuro. That must have been your first mate that was on the island." Luffy said as he started to breathe heavily.

"Oh, I guess I have been found out. Well, I guess my plan will have to be altered." The man revealed to be Kuro stated.

'Shit, the silent castle this big takes too much...' Luffy thought as he saw the man start to sway.

"Too, bad you will not make it out of this place ALIVE!" Kuro said as he rushed Luffy with a knife he kept on him.

"It is too bad... Shigan..." Luffy said as he jabbed his finger forward.

Kuro had never seen the man move before he felt the wound. Looking down, Kuro saw what looked like a bullet hole in the center of his chest. "This can't be the end..." He breathed out before collapsing.

"Castle's fall..." Luffy said as he turned breathing slightly heavily. "Now for your crew..."

Luffy grabbed the man by his jacket and rushed out. Had someone looked at Luffy, they would have seen another man with armor and metal boots floating above him.

While Luffy had killed Kuro, Law had taken the rest to the ship. "Damn..." Law said as he fell to his knees.

"What happened? Where are we?" Merry asked noticing the Marine flag.

"Law why are you all back on the ship?" Bonney asked looking at the group that had arrived. "I thought Luffy was going to inspect the island?"

"Bonney, code black..." Law said through his shallow breathes.

"Bonney..." Nami asked as she watched color drain from Bonney's face.

"What is going on?" Koby asked as he had emerged from the galley.

"Koby take Merry, Kaya and Ussop to the doctor's office. Law, you are not in any condition to help. Zoro, Nami you are with me." Bonney said as she hopped on to the gear to raise the anchor. "We do not have time! Get over here and help!"

"What is happening?!" Zoro yelled out as he rushed to help. It took them 15 seconds before the anchor was up.

"Luffy's devil fruit is different. It might seem like it just the Silence Silence fruit but only a few of us know... It is something much stronger..." Bonney stated as she rushed towards the helm.

"Wait, how do you know where he is going?" Nami asked as she noticed the rest of the crew getting ready.

"There is only one place he would go..." Bonney said as her haki pinged the men on the island nearby.

"What is his fruit?" Koby asked and he emerged from the ship.

"It is the only fruit that has been set as a do not eat for being too dangerous Human Human Fruit: Model Vidar..."

"That is insane..." Nami asked in shock.

Bonney said as she finally directed towards the island. "Luffy is lucky that the fruit has not done more... It has caused a multiple issues. Only this time Garp or the other girls aren't here..."

30 minutes after they had departed, the Strawhat marines had arrived to the island. What they saw was carnage. Bodies of men littered the ground and in the middle stood Luffy holding the last man by his neck. "Ah, my dear friend. It seemed like your time has come to an end. You have wronged so many people. Now Vengence has come." Luffy said hold a hippy looking man.

"Please let me go. I promise to never heard another again." he pleaded.

"But wasn't it you and Kuro plan to kill all those people." Luffy asked as his hand seemed to darken and squeeze.

"Kuro wanted to do it..." He said as he the man started to choke on his blood.

"Ah, ah, ah, do not lie. Your death should be truthful." Luffy said as he silenced the man's heart.

"LUFFY!" Bonney called out jumping the distance from their ship to the shore.

"Hello dear..." Luffy said with a sadistic smile. "Who is next for us to punish for their crimes?"

"Stop!" Bonney cried out grabbing the man around his chest. "Please Luffy, do not let it out."

Bonney watched as the man she loved had a look of pain.

"Bonney!" Luffy called out as he put his hands on his own head.

"Luffy it is ok. Do not worry." Bonney said as she pulled him into her bosom. "I am here... Your Bon-bon is here..."

"I am sorry..." Luffy said as he collapsed.

"Bonney, oh god... Did Luffy do this?" Zoro asked as he looked at the men. Some had fist size holes in their chests.

"Zoro... Help me get him back to the ship. We need to call this in." Dojaku said as he started to walk towards Bonney and Luffy.

A few hours later

Luffy sat up with a start. He looked around before noticing he was in his quarters. 'Damn, I had lost control again.' He thought as he noticed most of the blood that he had on his hands was dried. Besides him was both Nami and Bonney. Bonney naked as the day she was born with Nami cuddling up behind her.

Walking out on the docks, Luffy noticed Ussop was out on the deck as they were back on the shores of Syrup Village. Luffy walked up and stood next to the teen. They stood in silence for awhile before Ussos said, "You know. Watching you out there on that shore, it was terrifying."

"Yeah, this is the life of a marine... and pirate..." Luffy said with a sigh. "It is constant fighting for what you believe in."

"Do you think I could become a great warrior of the sea? Like my old man?" Ussop asked.

"I can't answer that for you Ussop. But if that is the path you wish, I am not going to stop you." Luffy said before he turn to walk back to his quarters. "Come on. It is time I gave you what your dad wanted me to give you."

Luffy and Ussop had walked towards his quarters going towards his chest. "Here they are." Luffy said as he pulled out a long case as well as a note that was tuck in it.

"I'll just go down below..." Ussop said as he stared at the items. "Thanks Luffy..."

"Yeah..." Luffy said as he watched the young man walk out.

"You know... it isn't appropriate you bring another man to your room while one of your lovers is naked in your bed." Bonney smirked at him as she held up the blanket against her. "Come back to bed. You scared us..."

"Yeah... I am sorry." Luffy said as he took off his clothes. It was Bonney's fault he slept naked most of the time now.

"You did the right thing out there." Bonney replied as Luffy slipped back underneath the blankets.

"Still, I let my fruit take over again..." Luffy said as he slid next to her.

"Shhh..."Bonney pulled him to her. "You know it is not your fault... Now let's get some sleep..."

"Yeah..." Pushing himself closer to her as they drifted off to sleep.

The next day

Luffy and crew had dropped off Merry, Ussop and Kaya back to Kaya's manor. "Now, make sure she takes 1 more dose of the hot nettle grass. It should counter any lingering affects." Law said as he gave Merry the herbs.

"I will, thank you again for everything." Merry said as he bowed.

"It is my job. Just watch after them." Law stated as he walked back onto the ship.

Ussop and Kaya holding hand and hand as they passed Law as they walked down the plank. Looking at Luffy, both seemed to notice that he gave them a knowing smile. "Ussop make sure you take your woman." Luffy called out as he finished his inspection.

"LUFFY!" Ussop cried out as Kaya's face turned tomato red in embarrassment.

"Kaya make sure you kiss him so hard that his brain turns to mush. Make sure he never leaves." Bonney teased as her and Luffy walked back onto the ship.

"Lady Kaya what does she refer to?" Merry asked with a knowing smile.

"Nothing..." Kaya said as she looked at Ussop.

"Kaya?" Ussop asked before he was kissed.

"You aren't leaving are you?" Kaya asked after she broke the kiss.

"..." Ussop tried to make words as his brain had turned to mush. 'Well, if I can be with her, maybe dad was right...' He thought as he turned to Kaya once more and kissed her back.

A week later

Luffy was laying in the crow's nest relaxing as his crew below was training. While to many it would seem like he was sleeping, he was actually working on his haki. 'I need to get better. I can't rely on my fruit forever.' He thought as he was trying to see the future. While he was he saw a vision. 2 men sick stationed on a rock. A restuarant floating in the sea. A hawkeye staring at him.

'Well, I guess where we are going.' Luffy thought as he jumped down. Landing next to his crew. "Nami, I have a heading we need to go before we go to your island."

"Ok, where?" She questioned as she was having them go to the next line of islands.

"Hehe," Luffy laughed as he started.

A few hours later

The strawhats had met a pair of rather curious bounty hunters that had almost died due to scurvy. They had been enternally grateful towards that and had even known Zoro.

"Hey do you guys happen to know a floating restuarant in the sea?" Luffy asked both Johnny and Yosaku.

"Yeah, have you ever heard of the Baratie?" Johnny asked as he drank his lemon juice.

"Damn, Law..." Bonney complained as she looked at her friend.

"Don't look at me." Law stated as he was reading a medical book. "Let someone else deal with this."

"What do you mean?" Koby asked as he finished his 100 push ups.

"Luffy is gonna be getting us into a bunch of trouble..." Law stated as if it was no big deal.

"But doesn't he do that already?" Nami ask as she looked at her lover. As much as she had come to enjoy his company and started falling for him, it was difficult to deal with the bad luck for finding fighting that seemed to follow him.

"Oh, no this is gonna be worse..." Bonney stated as she noticed the grin. "Last time, he had humilated a king in front of his people. Insighting an international incident.

"He did all of that!" Nami yelled.

"Yep, but you forgot that the reason he did it was because the king was executing his people. Also impelmented a new leader that is better for the people." Law stated as he continued to read.

"So, trouble?" Zoro asked.

"Trouble" Dojaku said as he inspected the lines.

Several hours later and much convincing that came from Luffy to Nami which including paying for all the food that they wanted, the Strawhats sailed towards the Baratie. "Luffy-aniki you are gonna love it. This place has the most delicious food anyone has ever made."

"Hmm, well apparently it is so good that a marine ship besides us is going there." Luffy said as he saw the Baratie and another marine ship in front of them.

After docking, they had walked down to the restuarant. Walking in, a man with blonde hair and swirly eye brows had seen them. "My beautiful goddesses. It must be fate that today is the day you walk into this restuarant. Please this way."

"Hey the rest of us are here too!" Zoro yelled as he immediately did not like the perverted man that had hearts in his eyes.

"*Che* Whatever, I guess you can all come with." The man said as he walked them to their table with in eye shot of the marine.

"You see my dear, when you are a Lieutenant, such as myself. You can eat fine dining on multiple occasions." The marine called out.

"Fullbody! You sure know how to treat a woman." The woman who was in a red satin dress replied.

"Gods he is so full of himself." Koby said looking at the man.

"Yeah, unfortunately we can't do anything here." Zoro said as he turned to see the perverted man return.

"My dear goddesses. I am Sanji and I will be here to wait on your hand and foot. If you need anything please ask." Sanji said as he looked at both the women.

"Hmm, I don't know Bonney everything just looks so good." Nami smirked towards the other woman. "I think we should try a bit of everything don't you?"

"Absolutely!" Bonney said smiling at Sanji. "Do you think you can guess all of it?" Both woman putting their best pouting face.

"Anything for you!" Sanji yelled as he spun away from the table.

"Gods, if he is like this. Imagine if Hancock or Reiju was here?" Law stated as he watched the perverted cook as he danced his way into the kitchen after barely taking the men of the group's order.

"Please, don't….." Luffy said as he had his hands full.

"Oh, didn't I tell you?" Bonney said giving Luffy an evil grin.

"Bonney, what did you do?" Luffy gulped as he had seen that look multiple times. It always ended up with him being exhausted and sore.

"Well, seeing how we have a new member to our family, I figured I would introduce her to the others." Bonney said having a cheshire grin on her face.

"You didn't…" Law said nervously as if saying what he was going to say would make it happen.

"What is going on?" Koby asked Zoro as if he knew what was happening.

"Bonney….. what is happening?" Nami questioned as the chef-waiter returned with appetizers and drinks.

"Oh, nothing just going to introduce you to some amazing people in roughly oh, an hour or so." Bonney said as he grin got even wider.

"An hour…" Law said as his face drained of color. "Excuse me sir. Do you have extra rooms available for people wanting to stay for longer than a meal?"

"Unfortunately, no. Zeff would kill us if we allowed that." A passing waiter-chef said as he watched Sanji make a fool of himself.

"My beautiful angels. Your beginner courses are ready and prepared by myself. Please if there is anything I can do to get your lovely names." He asked as the hearts in his eyes shined even brighter.

"Waiter, what is this fly doing in my soup?" Fullbody called out to their waiter. Luffy and multiple others using their haki noticed the ill intent the man had towards the chef after he made a fool out of him with the wine.

"I am not an expert, but I would say the backstroke." The chef replied as he watched the lieutenant get angrier at the comment.

"DO YOU THINK I AM A FOOL!" Fullbody yelled scaring his date as he smashed the table.

"The soup was just fine without you putting that bug in it. This food could have fed someone for 4 days….." The chef said picking up the shattered plate.

"Oh, no… Chef Zeff QUICK SANJI IS GOING TO GO ON A RAMPAGE!" One of the chef's called out as they watched in horror as Sanji kicked the marine in the face.

"I guess, we better stop this….." Luffy said getting up from enjoying his steak that was perfectly cooked.

Everyone looked in horror as Sanji's foot which was suppose to kick Fullbody out the doors landed perfectly in Luffy's stretched out hand. "I believe you made your point." Luffy stated as he looked at the chef.

"I can not believe the chefs of this place. I will have it shut down!" Fullbody yelled as he finally noticed the commanding officer in front of him.

"Oh really, Lieutenant Law! What did you see?" Luffy called out as released Sanji and turned to the man.

"Officer Fullbody had used his office to try to have personal gain. Then when it was not successful he destroyed personal property of a wandering restaurant that is believed to be a place where those truly in need can come for a meal and second chance job. Thus cleaning up this seas crime rate Commodore Luffy." Law said as he slowly flicked open his fingers revealing the word death.

"So, what do you have to say for yourself?" Luffy said as he watched the man swallowed hard.

"Lieutenant! The Kreig pirate we had captured has escaped….." The marine said as he came crashing into door.

"Welcome you salty rat. How will you be paying today?" A chef asked as a man that looked to be on his last legs walked in behind the marine that was tossed into the doors.

"Do you take lead?" The man asked as he pointed the gun at the chef.

"IF you are not a paying customer….." Patty started.. "Then you are not welcome!" He finished as he slammed his fists into the man's back as he was starting to walk away before throwing him out.

No one seemed to notice except Luffy that Sanji had disappeared as he saw the man come in as well as Fullbody trying to run from getting in trouble. 'Ah, so that is why the young man had such hard kicks.' Luffy thought as he looked at the head chef as he walked down to stairs.

"Head chef Zeff! I am sorry about the floor." Patty yelled as he finished walking back from throwing the man out.

"Ah, I thought it was you. You know, my grandpa always said how your food was as good as your kicks." Luffy said as he looked at the man.

"That old fart is still kicking then?" He asked as he looked at the young man as he remembered a marine admiral saying the same thing a years back.

"Yeah, he says to say sorry and if you ever want to become a marine he is willing to make it happen." Luffy said with a grin on his face.

"Hahaha" Was all the people heard as Zeff laughed heartily.

"Now, I have to go see about a criminal outside." Luffy said as he winked at his crew.

"Oh no…" Zoro said as he saw the look.

"Yep….. great a pervert as a marine…" Law stated as he watched Luffy.

"Thank you….." Luffy heard as he watched the chef and pirate eat and smoke together.

"Gin, the demon…." Luffy started as he watched the man eat in front of him. "So, is this what you wanted in your life?"

"Honestly, I do not know… I thought I as to die never eating again….." Gin said as he had tears running down his face.

"Well, I can respect a man who saw the world through rose tinted glasses get them pulled off." Luffy said as he sat down near them. "How about you? What is your dream?"

"Have you both ever heard about All Blue?" Sanji said taking a drag of his cigarette. Looking at both shake their heads before continuing. "It is suppose to be a place where all 4 seas come together. It is where you can get any fish from any region there. It has been my dream to find it."

"That is a damn good dream. Where are my manners, I am Luffy." Luffy said grinning the 2 men holding his hands out.

"Sanji…." Sanji said shaking the man's hand.

"Gin….." Gin said as he stared at the marine.

"So, what is your plan now?" Luffy asked both of them.

"Well, my break is done so I will be getting back to work." Sanji said as he got up.

"I do not know. I want to start making amends." Gin stated as he looked at the man in front of him.

"Well, blood can never truly go away. But I am sure Zeff could always use the extra help." Sanji offered as he started to walk away.

Before Gin could respond however, Luffy offered Gin a solution. "Listen, I can help if you truly wish. Trades with marines is unfortunately corrupt but necessary. Gin the demon is now dead. Live your life." Luffy said as he got up and walked away from the man crying…

"You didn't have to help him." Sanji said as he watched the marine come back inside.

"Neither did you. We have all done things we are not proud of. If he truly wishes to change he will, much life Zeff. If not, well Justice will be served." Luffy said as he noticed a new ship started to dock.

"LUFFY!" He heard as what seemed like a bullet shot out of a gun crashed into him. "Luffy, I had missed you so much…."

"Hanna, you should have waited until we at least docked….." A pink haired woman said as she landed near them. "Sanji…"

"Reiju…" Sanji said. "Shit!"

For reference: Vidar is the Norse god of Silence. He is known for his association with revenge. He is know for killing Fenrir. I wanted Luffy's fruit to be stronger and have another Silent Silent fruit out there. Before you ask, yes I am a big mythology nerd. I enjoy both greek, norse and roman mythology. I have been expanding out recently to Japanese.
