A/N: Just a heads up, this chapter does contain some graphic depictions of people being killed. Nothing overly graphic, but still rather gruesome.

Chapter 6

As Paradox and the Jocklin sisters traveled back in time, they arrived in the past and were now in some kind of hallway.

"Here we are girls, July 17th, 1998 almost 3 years after the factory was shut down," he said. "Mind you, this is no jolly walk in the park."

"Understood, Professor," Rachel said.

"Professor, where are we exactly?" Sasha asked.

"Well, we are in one of the hallways in the Innovation department. This should lead you straight towards the monitoring room and you should be able to see everything happening at the same time using the CCTV cameras there," he replied.

"So how come we're here instead of the place we just were out of curiosity?" Rachel asked.

"Well, take a look around that corner over there," the time traveler said.

The girls walked towards the corner and peeked around it to see that standing on the plaque in the Playtime Area was the 10 foot tall Huggy Wuggy standing in his statue form.

"It's Huggy Wuggy, but wait...is he alive or is it just a statue?" Rachel asked.

"It's probably just a statue; there's no way someone can stay that perfectly still, right? Sasha asked.

"I'm afraid you are wrong, Sasha," Professor Paradox said gently. "Experiment 1170 alias Huggy Wuggy is very much alive and one of the most dangerous and aggressive of the 12 Experiments that were successfully created during the Bigger Bodies Initiative."

"He doesn't look scary or aggressive though. he just looks like a giant version of the Huggy Wuggy toys and why is he just standing there?"

"That's just a façade he and the other toys can put up to appear friendly until they become feral and aggressive. To answer your second question, it's apart of his plan when the Plumbers storm in the factory. He is very intelligent after all. Now you should head to the monitoring room, just follow the messages and remember if you change anything, you change everything."

"He's right. One wrong move from us on changing any of this will change where we came from," Rachel said. "Though I do have one question. How does he know that the Plumbers are coming?"

Both girls turned around, only to find the time traveler was gone.

"Professor Paradox? Where did he go?" Sasha asked.

"You mean when did he go?" Rachel gently corrected.

"Right. That," Sasha said.

"C'mon, lets get out of here before Huggy or any of the other monster toys spot us," her sister suggested.

The girls left the corner and started walking down the hallway, hoping to find the monitoring room. Unfortunately, the Innovation department was a lot larger than they expected with many different paths, rooms, and doors which were locked and they were starting to get frustrated and stressed out of both getting lost and someone or something finding them.

"Ugh, this is getting us nowhere," Sasha said in frustration before sighing. "And it's so huge too. We don't even know where the monitoring room is and we could get caught."

"Yeah," Rachel said. "This is getting crazy." She then remembered what the professor had said. "Wait, Paradox said to follow the messages to the monitoring room, but what messages was he talking about?"

Sasha thought about it too until she spotted some blood on the floor. She turned on the flashlight on her phone and followed the trail on the wall and figured out what he was talking about. "Umm, Rachel I think I on found out what Paradox was talking about," she said.

The two sisters shone their lights on the wall and see that on this wall written in blood were the words "ITS OUR TURN TO PLAY".

"I don't like the sound of that," Sasha said.

"Neither do I," Rachel admitted. "Stay close."

The two girls started walking down the hallway, following the messages and saw that the more they walked down there, the more destroyed it looked as they saw broken toys covered in blood on the floor, broken lights, ripped posters, claw marks all over the walls, even the walls were falling apart. They also noticed that the amount of blood increased to where the floor was just red and saw more writings on the walls written in blood.

Sasha saw the blood message on the wall saying "WE WERE NOT ALWAYS MONSTERS" and scoffed a bit. "That's a little hard to believe," she said.

"Yeah," her sister said before seeing another bloody message on the other side of the wall saying "MORE THAN JUST TOYS INSIDE". She blinked. "Wonder what this one means," she said.

They soon reached the end of the hall and saw a large door that would probably lead them to the control room, but as they got closer they saw words on the door written in blood that read "THEY LIED TO US" and "DECEIVERS".

"What do all these messages mean?" Rachel asked. "Who lied to who? And who deceived who?"

"I hope we find out answers soon," Sasha said.

They looked up to see above the door were two panels one with a blue hand symbol and the other with a red hand symbol. Sasha fired both her GrabPack hands at the panels and the door opened for them. They walked in and saw that it was the monitoring room and it was larger than they expected with large screens on the wall and multiple desks and computers as well.

"Looks like we found the monitoring room," the older sister said as she got on one of the computers, turning it on and seeing an icon of a security camera that was labeled CCTV Network. She clicked on it, and connected to all the cameras as all the TV screens turned on, and showed them all the places in the factory, some places they had been too and some places they had never seen before. "Man how big is this factory to have this many security cameras active?"

"I don't know, but my question is how is this room not destroyed like the rest of the innovation department?" Sasha asked.

"I think this is what Paradox meant when he said to not underestimate them. They must've fixed this room up so they can keep an eye out through the entire facility."

The girls looked at all the cameras and saw that they also had cameras active outside the factory too in some kind of forest and they could also see the road they had driven down to get here. Suddenly, they see multiple Plumber Tanks and surprisingly Rook's Proto-TRUK driving down the same road that they drove down to reach the factory.

"Rook? What's he coming here for?" Rachel asked, surprised to see her future husband arriving at the factory.

"I don't know Rachel, but this explains how those monster toys knew they were coming, they had hidden cameras watching anyone outside the factory too. Did Rook ever tell you about this?" Sasha asked.

"No, he didn't," she said. "I'm going to have a long talk with him about keeping secrets when we get back home."

They watched the Plumbers arrive in the parking lot of the factory and saw the Plumbers and Rook get out of their vehicles; the Plumbers wearing their white Plumber suits, helmets, and carrying their Plumber blasters.

Rook pulled out his Plumber badge talking to Charles from Plumber HQ. "Magister Jocklin, we have arrived at the Playtime Co. toy factory you sent us too," he said before holding up a tablet, looking at the pictures of the Experiments that Charles provided for them to find. "Are you sure these are the targets we are after in this facility? If I am not mistaken, these just look like regular Earth toys that children would buy in a store."

"Yes, Rook, I am sure. Your mission is to go into the factory, find the Experiments, and capture them. Magister Tennyson wants you to bring them back here alive so that we can lock them up and decide what to do with them. If it were up to me I would just have you kill those abominations or blow up the factory. Anyways, these new special Plumber blasters I created and provided you and the new energy core in your Proto-Tool Rook should be enough to stun or knock out the Experiments and make it easier for you to transport back to Plumber HQ. They're just dumb mindless monsters after all," Charles said.

"Magister Jocklin, I fear you might be underestimating these Experiments as you call them. These Experiments seem extremely deadly and trying to capture and bring them back to Plumber HQ alive is going to be tricky especially since we know very little of what they are capable of. It also has been almost three years since this facility was shut down. We do not know if they have changed. Also how do you know these new weapons will be enough, do you have any important information about what we are going up against?" Rook asked, keeping his tone polite and respectful as he had much respect for Charles.

"….I don't and I understand your concerns Rook, but you have to trust me. I've looked up information on what these monsters are like and the new weapons should be enough, after all they should be just mindless freaks that just only want to kill without thinking. It will be a piece of cake for you to capture them," Charles said.

Rook grew confused. "I do not understand how earth sweets will help us in this situation?" He admitted.

"No Rook, it's an expression of saying it will be easy," Charles explained gently. "Anyways, keep me updated on your progress, Rook."

The call ended and Rook sighed softly. "He is reminding me of Ben when he underestimates his opponents like that," he said to himself as he put his Plumber badge away and walked towards the factory with the others. "We should spread out into groups to locate the Experiments considering the size of the factory. Beta and Gamma team head to west side of the factory, Omega and Delta team you take the east side, Alpha team you are with me and remember, Magister Tennyson's orders is to capture these Experiments alive. Do I make myself clear?" He asked them all.

"Yes, sir!" Everyone said before the teams began going their separate ways towards the factory while Rook and Alpha team entered the main entrance as they had their blasters ready. They saw that the entrance to the Playtime Area was open and the group headed down the hallway and were now in the Playtime Area and standing in front of them on his plaque was the large Huggy Wuggy.

"This must be Experiment 1170," Rook said, looking at the reading plaque in front of him that has a description of Huggy Wuggy alongside the history of Playtime Co. "Apparently his name is Huggy Wuggy."

Fields, one of the agents, snickered. "Huggy Wuggy? Seriously that's his name? We're here trying to find these crazy monsters we were told about and you're telling me this friendly blue guy with a silly name is what we're after?" He looked at the plaque and saw a red button there. "Hey, what does this button do?" He pushed the red button and a song began playing.

And it was a rather disturbing song with a creepy laugh, ending with a popping sound. "Well, that's interesting and a little disturbing at the same time," Fields said.

"Are you an idiot or something Fields!? You shouldn't be pressing random buttons. Those Experiments could've heard that creepy song and might find us now!" Another Plumber named Sam asked.

"Girl, you need to relax. We have these new blasters; we'll be fine. What's the worst that can happen?" Fields then walked up to the statue and poked its leg a few times, getting no response. "So Rook, is this the one we're suppose to capture and bring back to HQ?"

"No, I do not believe that this is him. Looking at the picture Magister Jocklin provided he looks completely different than the one standing in front of us," Rook said, looking at his tablet, seeing that the Huggy Wuggy in the picture had bigger dilated eyes giving him a deranged and disturbing physique and his mouth was open showing he had multiple jagged needle-like teeth and a secondary set of jaws located by his throat. "Perhaps this is just a statue that the company made?"

They suddenly heard a speaker turn on and began defensive, looking around quickly.

"The Playtime Co. toy factory is now closed, thank you for visiting, Huggy Wuggy and his friends had a fun day today and hope to see you again real soon! Initiating security lockdown sequence," a voice said over the intercom.

Suddenly, the lights turned off and roller doors came down in front of the main entrance they entered through, locking them in. Rook turned on the flashlight on his Proto-Tool to provide light as the group headed back to the front entrance again, finding they were now locked in. Rook pulled out his Plumber badge to call Charles again.

"Rook, what's going on? Everything alright over there?" Charles asked.

"No, sir. The lights just went out and the roller doors came down. We are locked in," the Revonnahgander said.

"Wait, what? That building has been abandoned for almost three years. How is there still power and only someone with access to the Main Control room can activate the security lockdown system," the man said.

"Magister Jocklin, I feel like this is not just a coincidence, seeing that we are the only people in this building. I believe we fell into a trap of some sorts that the Experiments must have planned for us apparently," Rook said.

"That shouldn't be possible. The Experiments aren't smart or capable of planning stuff out like this and how did they know you were...the cameras! Playtime Co. installed cameras outside the factory to find any Experiments that tried to escape the facility. They must've used them to see you coming from miles away to the factory! I thought the building didn't have any power for those cameras to be activated or for those cameras to still be working they must've fixed them, but that's not possible!"

"With all due respect, sir, I think you've underestimated these Experiments," Rook said. "We need to fall back and regroup."

"Alright, I'll try and find a way for you to shut down the security lockdown system so you and the others can leave, but until I can do that, just stay together and try to find and capture those monsters because if they escape they'll go on a rampage, going to residential areas, and kill innocent people!"

The Revonnahgander started to get suspicious. "Magister Jocklin, is there something you are hiding from us? The way you talk about them seems like you know these Experiments very well."

"Rook, there's nothing for me to hide from you and now is not the time for this alright, we'll talk when you and the others get back," Charles said, hanging up.

Something is not right here, Rook thought to himself. It sounds like he is hiding something, but what?

He motioned the group to follow and as the group were walking back towards the Playtime Area, Sam pulled out her flashlight and shone it until she noticed something that made her stop.

"Umm guys, where did the statue go?"

Her question made them all stop and Rook shone the light where Huggy had been, only this time, there was just an empty plaque there. They suddenly heard a friendly laugh, though it sounded more creepy than friendly to the Plumbers.

"Welcome to the Playtime Co. toy factory! I'm your best friend, Huggy Wuggy! Do you want a big hug?" More laughter sounded out.

Everyone started getting creeped out hearing him talk to them and looked around them as they shone their lights everywhere only to find nothing. Suddenly their lights started flickering on and off before turning off and the only light they had now was the moonlight shining from the dome ceiling windows.

"What are you doing here? No one's allowed here after hours." Huggy laughed.

"Great, now our lights don't work and we're trapped in here with a large blue creepy monster, what are we going to do now?" Jonny asked.

"We look for him and take him down," Rook said. "And capture him."

"Oh yeah, like that ever works out in the end," Jonny sneered.

"Yeah, for all we know that thing could be right...," she paused, having been backing up with Jonny and bumped into something and it felt furry. "...behind us..."

Jonny and Carol slowly looked up and see Huggy Wuggy looking down at them with those dilated eyes and his deranged toothy smile. They were about to scream only for them to be silenced when Huggy grabbed them, covered their mouths, and dragged them away from the others.

Sam had been listening to Rook about what to do until she noticed something. "Hey, has anyone seen Jonny or Carol anywhere?" She asked.

The group look around but saw nothing until they heard a loud thud land on the ground. They turn in the direction of the sound to find on the floor laying in a puddle of blood was Jonny's headless body. They slowly look up to find Huggy Wuggy there with his arms wrapped around Carol, giving her a big hug as she struggled to break free. They soon heard the sound of something being crushed as Huggy crushed all of Carol's bones and insides with his hug of death and just stared at the group.

"Come here and give me a big hug," Huggy said as he started walking towards them, carrying the dead body.

Rook pulled out his Proto-Tool. "Alright Plumbers, fire!" He cried out.

They all aimed their new blasters at Huggy and fired. They saw the large toy start backing up and put his arm up the block the blasts, but there was a big problem. He wasn't getting stunned or getting knocked out.

"I thought Magister Jocklin said these new blasters would take him down, but they're not doing anything!" Rebecca said frantically.

"Just keep shooting; he'll go down eventually!" Steve said.

Huggy threw the dead body at the group of Plumbers and picked up the headless Plumber body and threw it at them as well. Rook and some of the Plumbers got hit by the dead bodies and get knocked down, dropping their weapons. Sam saw her comrades get knocked down and looked back at Huggy, only to see him sprinting towards her. Huggy then grabbed Sam's shoulders and bit down on her head.

Steve was horrified to see his friend get her head bitten off and got up, picking up his blaster. "Take this, you freak!" He yelled, firing at Huggy, who held up his arm and the Plumbers headless body to block the shots. Suddenly the blaster stopped firing and he looked to see he ran out of power. "No, no, no! Not now!" The Plumber exclaimed in frustration.

Seeing he stopped firing, Huggy threw the dead body off to the side and rushed towards Steve, grabbing him. He lifted him up to look at him before he slammed him into the floor, raised his arms and repeatedly brought them down onto Steve, crushing him.

Rebecca, seeing this and seeing it was all hopeless, decided to make a run for it. Huggy finished beating Steve to death and looked up to see Rebecca start running away from him and he sprinted towards her, picking her up in a hug.

Rook pushed the dead bodies off of himself and got up with Fields and saw the massacre that happened. He then heard screaming and looked to see Huggy holding Rebecca in his arms.

"HELP ME!" She screamed before Huggy bit down on her head, killing her immediately. The monster then saw Rook and Fields were the only ones left and dropped the dead body, running towards them.

Rook picked up his Proto-Tool and fired an energy shackle at Huggy, which wrapped around Huggy, tying him up and Rook then turned his Proto-Tool into a staff and hit Huggy's legs, knocking him down on his back and looks at Fields. "I am unsure if that will hold him; we need to move now!"

"No argument here, sir," Fields said in agreement.

Rook and Fields ran down one of the hallways as Huggy managed to break the energy shackles, freeing himself and got up. He saw the two running and ran after them. He soon caught up to them and grabbed Fields, who was slower than Rook, in a hug.

Rook looked behind him to see Fields get caught as Huggy bit his head off and dropped the body before starting to run after him again, starting to catch up again. Rook looked to see a gate up ahead and the door was halfway open. He used his Proto-Tool and fired his grappling hook at the door, making it into the room and then pulling his grappling hook, which pulled the door down in front of Huggy, locking him out.

Rook saw he was in a room named Make-A-Friend, but before he could examine the room, he suddenly heard banging from the other side of the door. Looking around, he saw no way out, but then looked up to see a catwalk above him. He fired his grappling hook at the catwalk and reeled himself up just in time.

Huggy managed to open the door and walked in. He looked around the Make-A-Friend room to find Rook, but saw that no one was in there. He then heard voices coming from the vent and headed in the ventilation shaft, following the sound of voices thinking Rook escaped through the vents.

After making sure that Huggy Wuggy was gone, Rook lowered himself down back on the floor and pulled out his Plumber badge. "Magister Jocklin, did you find a way to shut down the security lockdown system?" He asked, hoping the man had.

"Yes, if you head to the main security room, you should be able to find the controls to shut it down. I'm sending you instructions on where to go. What's your situation?" Charles asked.

"Experiment 1170, or Huggy Wuggy, killed all of Alpha team. The weapons you provided us had no effect on him, sir," Rook said sadly.

"What?! But that should've worked! Alright, just head to the security room, shut down the system, find the others, and get out of there now!" Charles said.

As soon as the Magister hung up, Rook got a holographic map of the building and saw the path he needed to take and headed there stealthy to avoid Huggy Wuggy or any of the other experiments roaming around.

Rachel and Sasha saw everything that happened through the CCTV cameras and were absolutely speechless seeing the massacre that happened.

"He...He killed them," Sasha said. "Huggy killed them."

"I hate to say it, but it sounds like everyone got in over their heads," Rachel said.

"Hey wait, what happened to the other Plumbers?"

The two look through the other cameras to see where the others were. They soon found two more groups of Plumbers in different areas of the factory, hoping they would have better luck than the others that were killed by Huggy.

The sisters start to learn what happened. What will they see next? We shall find out in the next chapter.
