Chapter 9: The Justice League Visits
"I'm surprised that you even allowed the Headmaster to do that," Fate told Constantine the day after Halloween.
"He wanted to know if what he suspected was true," Constantine stated. "And you know I'm all for the truth. Especially if we both know that it deals with a wanker that killed a little boy's mother just because she breathed air."
"Still it could cause problems."
Constantine looked at Fate and said, "I'll deal with it when it comes. So what have you been doing?"
"Research," Fate answered. "Into the Quinzel line."
"Got my attention."
"Batman doesn't have the access that I have. I talked to gods like Heka, the Morrigan, and even Hecate. The one that worked with the Fates to allow Julius to even be born. It seems that the Quinzel's are blood related to the Peverell brother. Most importantly to Ignotus, the youngest. He had three sons and several hundred years later the middle's bloodline produced a Squib. That's where the Quinzel bloodline comes from."
"Interesting," Constantine said. "But what does it matter who Harley's ancestor was?"
"It matters, Constantine, because the Potter family inherited an object of great power. Have you ever heard of the Deathly Hallows?"
"What the-? Of course I have. Anyone worth their spell knows of them."
"The Potter's have a cloak that they have handed down. However, since two of the three son's bloodline is still active then Julius could claim the cloak for his own."
"You want me to march in there and get a bloody Deathly Hallow."
"No, you won't have to," Fate said. "James Potter decided to hand the cloak over to Albus Dumbledore. I know that he has no idea what he's handed over. But his stupid son doesn't have possession of it."
"I doubt that Dumbledore will hand it over."
"Oh he will, because the bloodline of Harley's ancestor became the oldest of the three sons. By wizard right Julius Wayne is to receive the cloak."
"Didn't Ignotus just hand the cloak to his son."
"He handed it to the youngest that happen to be there at the time of his death," Fate said. "His oldest son had already died, making the middle the oldest. However, because Richard wasn't there, he didn't know that his father was dead."
"And the Potters have something that, by right, doesn't belong to them."
"Correct," Fate said.
"So who's going to tell him?"
"I will," Fate answered. "Let's hope that Albus will hand the cloak to Julius before James decides to get it back from him."
"One can only hope."

Julius watched as the warm weather departed and the cold, bitter, wind took its place. The first Quidditch Match, Gryffindor vs. Slytherin, was taking place. However, Julius wasn't interested in going. True he wanted to be there to support Draco's house, but he just didn't feel like seeing a game. The others went and when they came back several hours later they had reported that Gryffindor had won.
"I hope that you will attend the one with our house," Hermione said.
"I will," Julius promised.
The match between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw took place at the end of November. Whoever lost would go up against Slytherin in the middle of December. It took everything to finally drag Julius to the stadium to watch the match. To his surprise several members of the Justice League was there. Like those members that didn't rely on muggle tech to get anything done.
"Finally," Draco said. "Didn't think that you could get him away from his books."
"He's more of a bookworm than I am," Hermione told him. "And he's got more training than I do."
Of course the match hadn't even started due to a man in a bowler hat yelling at Dumbledore. Everyone was watching what was going on and Julius had a bad feeling that his name was cropping up a couple of times.
"What is Fudge doing here?" Draco asked them.
"Don't look at me," Julius said. "But I don't like him."
"Don't worry, I don't either."

"What you did on Halloween was completely inappropriate," he told Dumbledore. "And then you bring muggles to Hogwarts."
"The Justice League are Julius Wayne's official godparents," Dumbledore told him. "And if I suspect that Julius's life is in danger then I will summon who I need to ensure that he survives to the end of term."
"Oh because you think that You-Know-Who is around."
"There are too many things going on for me to not think so," Dumbledore said.
"I think the Headmaster should be removed," James Potter said. "Feeding a child's disillusion."
"James, we need Dumbledore at Hogwarts."
"And I didn't ask for your opinion, Lily."
"I agree with Lily," Severus said.
"Of course you do, Sn-."
"That's enough," Minerva said. "We have a game to watch and Mr. Wayne didn't say anything to anyone. He just wanted to see his mum again, which I don't blame him for wanting. And we all know the dead know more than the living do. If Harley Quinn knows that You-Know-Who is still around then I'll believe her over you."
"And maybe you should be removed as well," James told her.
"Try it, Potter, I dare you," Minerva dared, her hand itching for her wand. "Of course you won't. Don't want me to wipe the floor with your entitled butt."
"That's it," Lily said. "I've had enough of this nonsense James. I've had to watch as you turn Harry into you, a bully. If the dead say that You-Know-Who is back, then I will side with who tells the truth."
"Are you thinking of leaving me."
"Guess the answer," Lily hissed. "I'm not staying with someone that claims to be fighting against him and then if there's any hint that he might be returning, refuses to believe it. And will even side with those that refuse to believe the truth."
"And where are you going to go, Lily," James asked. "No one wants a used tart like you."
They saw Lily turning red, but then Wonder Woman grabbed him and said, "How dare you call a woman that."
"Unhand-."
"Diana Prince is stronger than you are,' Superman told him. "I would advise you to not attempt to break her grip."
"We're leaving," he said. "If you even spread this lie that You-Know-Who is regaining power I will have you removed from Hogwarts. Along with your entire staff."
Wonder Woman let James go and he said, "Come Lily."
"No," Lily said. "I told you, I'm leaving you."
He went to grab her but Fate transported him back to Potter manor.
"Thanks," Lily said.
"Minerva, take Lily back to the castle," Dumbledore said. "I think a Calming Draught is what she needs."
Minerva nodded.

"Well that was more exciting than a Quidditch match," Draco said as everyone settled back down.
"Remind me to send that man some Cockroach Clusters," Neville said.
"Who's that?" Julius asked them.
"Fudge," Draco answered. "He just got elected. He's the Minister of Magic."
"Do you think it was because of what happened on Halloween?" Hermione asked them.
"Most likely," Draco said.
"Great, he probably thinks that I'm seeking attention," Julius said and his three friends knew how much he hated being famous.
"We know that you're not doing that," Hermione said.
"Yeah, tell that to those morons that think they know more than you do."
The four of them wasn't really into the game. Despite the fact that Ravenclaw won against Gryffindor all Julius could think about was what had happened down below. The Justice League left right after the game ended and everyone headed for the castle. It wasn't a happy day for anyone.

"You don't think that Fudge is going to try something," Snape asked the Headmaster.
"I don't know," Dumbledore said. "But if he does then I will be making you Headmaster. You're the only person that's powerful enough to keep the wards up."
"What about Minerva?"
"Do you really think that Fudge will want someone that, for decades, has been my most loyal supporter? No, she'll be gone as well."
"And he'll trust a Slytherin to keep Wayne in-line," Lily told him.
"But he threatened to replace the staff, including Severus," Remus said.
"The governors can keep that from happening," Dumbledore said. "They still have a huge amount of power."
"This has turned into a nightmare," Minerva said.
"That's why we have to do what we can to keep Fudge away from us. I'm going to summon Fate to take the stone as far away from Hogwarts as he can. If it's no longer in the castle than Voldemort will leave."
Everyone agreed that it was a good idea.
When Fate arrived they all listened as Dumbledore told Fate what he wanted him to take away from the castle.
"I know a place that it will be safe," Fate told him. "However, in return I want you to return the cloak to Julian Wayne."
Dumbledore looked at him and asked, "The reason?"
"Harley Quinn's bloodline goes all the way back to the middle child of the youngest of the three brothers. Therefore, by birthright the cloak belongs to Julius."
Dumbledore thought this over.
"Very well, I'll hand the cloak over to him," Dumbledore said to him. "In exchange for you taking the stone away from Hogwarts."
"Then it shall be done," Fate said and he was gone.

A/N: Will Voldemort find out that the stone is gone? Yes, he will. Will he know that Fate took it? No, he won't. I also had to play around a little with Harley's bloodline to make Julius the one that can unite the Deathly Hallows and become the Master of Death. So Dumbledore will hand the cloak over to Julian and the first of the three hallows will be united with the boy that will grow up to become the Master of Death. Next up: Julian goes home for Christmas, thus receiving the cloak, and receives some unexpected news.
