After changing into their gym clothes, which consists of a white shirt and a pair of red shorts, Danny, the Nightmists, and the rest of the students from their class all gathered inside the Gymnasium. Some of them were still chatting with each other to catch up on what they were doing the past week.

Suddenly, the loud sound of a whistle was heard, making the students flinch by the sound as some of them even cringed as they covered their ears. As they turned to the source of the sound, the students were then greeted with a stern look from Ms.Tetslaff, a muscular woman who serves as the school's Gym teacher.

"Alright, class. You've already had a week of free time. I hope you all spent some of that time on doing some workouts, which I highly doubt any of you did. If not, then I'm gonna whip you all back into shape." Ms. Tetslaff said.

"I'm guessing she was bored last week since there was no one around for her to torment." Tucker whispered to Danny.

Tetslaff saw the tech-wiz conversing with the black-haired boy and glared at the both of them.

"Foley! You got something you wanna share with the rest of the class?" Ms. Tetslaff asked, glaring.

"Uh, no, ma'am!" Tucker said, flustered.

"In that case, KEEP YOUR TRAP SHUT, IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YA!" Ms. Tetslaff shouted.

"Yes, ma'am!" Tucker said as he straightened himself up.

"That's what you get for opening your big mouth." Sam snarked, making Tucker sent her a side glare.

Tetslaff breathed in through her nose and turned her attention back towards the rest of the class.

"As I was saying, since I doubt that any of you have been doing any form of exercise this past week, then I'm gonna work the lot of you out till I get you back into shape." Ms. Tetslaff stated.

"Not unless you can call hunting ghosts as a workout." Danny thought with a bored expression.

"Alright, for today's activity, the boys will be playing against each other in a game of dodgeball." Ms. Tetslaff said.

Dash grinned when he heard the word "dodgeball" came out of the Gym teacher's mouth. The same could not be said for Danny, Tucker and the majority of the nerds as they sighed in depression while Danny just had a bored expression on his face.

"Oh, pull yourselves together. It's just dodgeball, it's not like getting hit by a ball is gonna kill you." Ms. Tetslaff said.

"No, but it will probably earn you a free trip to the nurse's office." Danny thought.

"Now then, since we won't have enough time for both the boys and girls, it will only be just the boys today. The girls' turn will be next week, although it won't be dodgeball." Ms. Tetslaff said.

While some of the girls were relieved that their turn wasn't today, a few of them frowned as they were a bit upset that they won't be doing much today, but none was more upset than a certain orange-haired ghost girl.

"Aw, man. Really, we won't be doing anything today?" Clyde groaned with her arms crossed.

Her complaint made the entire class turned their attention towards her and the rest of her sisters, even Ms. Tetslaff was staring the new girls with a raised brow.

However, the attention that they were getting was making them a little uncomfortable. Clyde had only just noticed that her complaint caught everyone's attention as she now saw everyone was now staring at her and her sisters. Blinky facepalmed herself for their youngest sister's dumb act, Pinky blushed in embarrassment as she covered her now red face, and Inky just shook her head in disapprovement.

"Uh, excuse me?" Clyde said with a sheepish smile.

Seeing as how all eyes were still watching them, Blinky lets out an exasperated sigh.

"Pardon my little sister. She's always been...enthusiastic...when it comes to anything physical, so she's a little disappointed that we won't be doing much today." Blinky explained.

Ms. Tetslaff raised a brow at her explanation, but understood what she meant and nodded.

"I see. By the way, haven't seen you girls in this class before. I take it that you girls are the new students that was mentioned this morning?" Ms. Tetslaff asked.

The Nightmist sisters nodded at the same time, thus answering the teacher's question.

"Yes ma'am. I'm Blinky, and these are my sisters: Pinky, Blinky, and Clyde." Blinky said as she introduced herself and her sisters, gesturing them in order.

"We're the Nightmist sisters, but you can just call us by our first names, ma'am. Seeing as the four of us are assigned in the same class, it will be confusing if you used our family name." Inky suggested.

Ms. Tetslaff hummed in thought as she rubbed her chin while contemplating on the idea. It's true that it will become a problem if they all answered at the same time when their family name was called.

After a few moments of consideration, Ms. Tetslaff saw their point and nodded in agreement.

"Well, I guess it's better than having all of you answer at the same time. Very well, then." Ms. Tetslaff said, making the sisters nodded in response.

Ms. Tetslaff's gaze then landed on Clyde as she recalled what Blinky had just mentioned earlier.

"So, Clyde, was it?" Ms. Tetslaff asked, getting a nod in response. "From what your sister just said, I can assume that you're a fitness fanatic of some kind." She said.

"Not really. I'm not much of a fanatic, I just like working out. It helps me relax and it keeps my mind calm whenever I'm upset. I also gained some interests in various sports, such as soccer, football, basketball, and more." Clyde explained.

"Is that so?" Ms. Tetslaff asked, getting another nod in response.

"Yes, ma'am. Inky once said that it's important to have a healthy mind, but having a healthy body is just as important. Compared to my sisters, I'm not that smart. But what I lack in smarts, I make up for it with my strength. Plus, it feels good when I move my body around." Clyde explained with a smile.

Ms. Tetslaff's gaze never left the orange-haired girl. As she was listening to her explanation, she saw the glint in her eyes when she was talking about her love for sports and workouts, and she saw the passion the orange-haired girl has for them.

Seeing the look on Clyde's face, Ms. Tetslaff couldn't help but smile and laughed in amusement.

"Well, would you look at that, a girl that actually has an interest in sports. You know what, young lady? I like you." Ms. Tetslaff stated.

"The look on your face shows everything, both your passion and love for not only workouts, but sports as well. I'm looking forward to see what sort of potential that you have." Ms. Tetslaff said, smirking.

Hearing that made the orange-haired girl return the smirk. Ms. Tetslaff's then turned her attention to the rest of the sisters.

"What about you girls? You like sports as much as your sister does?" Ms. Tetslaff asked.

"Well, we're not as enthusiastic as Clyde, but we do exercise from time to time. That being said, I'm pretty good at soccer, though." Blinky said.

"Same goes for me, since I was the one who taught Clyde that a healthy body is as important as a healthy mind. Also, I'm pretty adept at basketball." Inky said as she pushed her glasses up.

"I'm more or less the same. It's a healthy lifestyle. Plus, it's a nice method to maintain my physique. I mean, all of this does not just happen on it's own, y'know." Pinky said with a pose that basically made all the boys drool.

Of course they would, why wouldn't they be? The girls have a figure that could rival that of Paulina's, perhaps even surpass her. Heck, they could even challenge the Latina in a beauty pageant and they would still come out on top.

"Oh, not to mention, I'm also pretty skilled at tennis and hockey." Pinky said.

"I see. Well, I'll be in charge of you girls for the next three years, so I hope you can keep up with the way I do things." Ms. Tetslaff sternly said.

However, the four sisters didn't look deterred at all.

"Don't worry, ma'am. We'll be sure to keep up." Blinky said, with the others nodding in agreement.

"Good to know. Well then, I think we've wasted enough time. First, we'll be doing some light stretches. After that, we'll be doing some warm-ups. Then, we'll get started on the boys' dodgeball match." Ms. Tetslaff stated.

As Ms. Tetslaff was about to blow her whistle, Inky then raised her hand.

"Um, excuse me, Ms. Tetslaff?" Inky said, getting the Gym teacher's attention.

"Yes, uh...Inky, right?" Ms. Tetslaff replied.

"Yes, ma'am." Inky clarified. "You said that we don't have enough time for both the girls and the boys, right?" She asked.

"Yeah, we're gonna have to schedule for next week for the girls' turn." Ms. Tetslaff said.

"In that case, why don't we just do both the girls and the boys? Why don't we play a game of mixed dodgeball?" Inky suggested.

"Mixed dodgeball?" Ms. Tetslaff asked with a raised brow, getting a nod in response.

"As I recall, dodgeball is almost similar to soccer and it doesn't matter if there was both boys and girls playing the game. By doing this, all the boys and girls in this class will be able to play on the same day." Inky explained.

"It'll also be less troublesome for you, since you won't have to plan for a different game next week." Inky added as she pushed her glasses up.

Ms. Tetslaff's blinked at the suggestion. She then pondered at the idea given to her by the blue-haired girl.

However, a certain Latina was listening among the students, and after listening to what the blue-haired new girl had suggested, she couldn't help but roll her eyes at the idea.

"Mixed dodgeball? Please, that is the most dumbest idea I've ever heard." Paulina scoffed.

Unfortunately for her, the female Gym teacher seems to think otherwise, as she seems amused at the suggestion.

"Actually, I think it's a pretty good idea." Ms. Tetslaff said.

The Latina blinked in confusion when she heard what the Gym teacher had just said.

"...What?" Paulina questioned.

"Honestly, I never really considered about doing mixed matches, but after Inky here suggested it, it doesn't sound like such a bad idea." Ms. Tetslaff said.

Paulina's mouth went agape after hearing the Gym teacher's statement. The sisters saw the Latina's reaction and they couldn't help but smirk at the look on her face.

"Alright, we'll follow up with Inky's idea. Now that that's settled, it's time for some stretches." Ms. Tetslaff said as she blew her whistle, making the entire class cringe at the sound.

As soon as the whistle stopped, the students then got into positions and started to do as they were instructed.

A few moments later

After a series of light stretches, some push-ups, sit-ups, and a few other exercises, some of the students sat down on the Gymnasium floor, panting in exhaustion as they were tired from all the workouts.

Although, the same couldn't be said for the Nightmist sisters. Since the girls are ghosts, their stamina is a lot higher than the average human, making them much more stronger than the rest of the class, but even they felt a little tired from all those exercises.

"All right, class, the way I see it, you've earned yourselves a 10 minute break. Rest up for a bit while I go and grab the balls. We'll start the game as soon as I get back." Ms. Tetslaff said as she walked away.

As soon as she left, the students all gathered with their usual groups. The same goes for Danny, Sam, and Tucker.

"So, we'll be pairing up together later, right?" Sam asked.

But before the two male members of the group could even answer, Blinky and her sisters walked over to them.

"Hey, Danny. Hey, Tucker, Sam." Blinky said.

"Hey, girls." Danny said.

"Hey." Sam simply said.

"Hello~, ladies." Tucker said in an attempt to flirt again.

The girls couldn't help but giggle at his effort.

"Sorry, Tucker. But as much as we find your attempts amusing, at most, we're gonna have to decline." Inky said while fixing her glasses.

"Still, nice try, though." Pinky said, still giggling.

"Aw, man!" Tucker whined, pouting.

Danny and the Nightmist sisters shook their heads in amusement, while the goth girl just roll her eyes at her tech-geek friend.

Blinky then remembered the reason they walked up to them in the first place.

"Hey, Danny, if it's not too much of a bother, do you mind if we sit with you guys?" Blinky asked.

"Um, sure." Danny said.

Hearing his answer, a smile of joy beamed on the girls' faces.

As they sat down to accompany the half-ghost teenage boy and his friends, Danny then noticed something different about Inky, in particular, her hair.

"You tied your hair up, Inky?" Danny asked.

That caught Inky's attention. She then remembered that she tied her hair up in a ponytail.

"Oh, yeah. Since my hair's a bit long, it often gets in the way when I move around too much. So I usually tie it up beforehand. I hope it doesn't look weird." Inky said with a blush.

"Not at all, I think it looks good on you." Danny said, smiling at the blue-haired girl.

Hearing that made her blush even redder, but she couldn't help but smile as she was flattered by the compliment.

"Thanks, Danny." Inky said.

"You're welcome." Danny replied.

Sam saw the interaction between them and she could feel her eye twitching in irritation at how close Danny and Inky were being.

Tucker glanced at his goth friend and couldn't help but roll his eyes at her.

"She really needs to either tell Danny her feelings or just let him date other girls, though I bet that the second option is the one that is gonna happen at this rate." Tucker thought.

The four sisters then remembered about the female goth among the group and the little incident that happened during lunch. They looked at the still frowning goth girl and decided to apologize for what happened earlier.

"Um, Sam..." Blinky started, snapping the goth girl out of her irritated state. "About what happened earlier, you know, during lunch, if what we said offended you in any way, then we would like to apologize." She said.

"Yeah, we didn't really mean to make you upset, it's just that we find what you were eating was...unique, to say the least." Pinky said.

"I still find it hard to believe that you can digest something like that. I can understand if it was any other types of food, but grass on a bun? I find it rather inconceivable." Inky commented.

"Well, you better get used to it then, 'cause no matter what others say or do, I am not gonna change what I eat." Sam stated with a scowl.

"No problem, that's fine by us. But like what we were saying earlier, can we just forget it ever happened and put it behind us?" Blinky asked as she hoped to forget about their little argument.

Sam raised a brow at her request. She still doesn't trust the sisters and it bothers her every time she saw them hanging around Danny. The female goth can deny it all she wants, but her feelings for Danny always gets the better of her.

Danny looked and saw that his goth friend was still pondering on her thoughts. As soon as he saw the look on her face, he couldn't help but let out a sigh.

"Come on, Sam, just give 'em a chance. It's not like they offended you on purpose. I mean, they just met you, remember?" Danny pointed out.

"Yeah, Sam. Let it go already, it was just a misunderstanding. Besides, when was the last time anyone wants to hang out with us and not consider us weird, and right now we have four of 'em that's willing to hang out with us." Tucker said.

Sam blinked in shock on her current situation. Not only Danny is siding with the girls, but Tucker as well. She looked back between her friends and the Nightmists before going back into her thoughts.

"I still don't trust them that much...but they did stood up against Paulina and Dash, so I guess that counts as something. Plus, I don't really want to argue with Danny and Tucker right now." Sam thought.

Seeing no way out of her situation, the goth girl sighed in defeat.

"Fine, I guess we could just forget about everything that happened at lunch." Sam said.

The four ghost sisters perked up slightly at this. It seems that they were starting to get through the goth girl.

"Really, you mean it?" Pinky asked in a hopeful manner.

"Yeah, besides, I did lose my cool earlier, so I guess I'm partially to blame. It's just that I hate being judged by what I do and what I like." Sam said.

"Yeah, we know how that feels. Why can't people just accept us for what we are?" Blinky said.

Sam was a bit surprised about what the red-haired just said. They know how she felt? As she got a little curious, she decided to ask about it.

"You mean, you've been judged by other people before?" Sam asked.

"You could say that. Back at our old place, the people there proved they were the best by showing their strength. But we don't really approve of violence and we would only fight when the situation calls for it." Blinky explained.

"And since we don't want to get into fights like the others, we were labeled as the weakest ones in the neighborhood." Inky added as she fixed her glasses.

"It wasn't pleasant, for any of us. We were being judged every single day for the past 15 years. I mean, it's not our fault that we don't think or act like they do, so why can't they just deal with it and just let us live our aft- our lives the way we want to? It's not fair." Pinky said.

Listening to their story, Sam looked down and couldn't help but feel bad about her earlier attitude towards them. She might have just met the girls and may not trust them very much, but even she couldn't help but feel sorry at their situation when growing up. She's a goth, she's not heartless.

"Sounds like the four of you had a rough life, growing up in a neighborhood like that." Sam said.

"Meh, it wasn't all that bad. We at least had each other. That alone was enough motivation for us to live through that kind of place and that is saying something." Blinky stated, with her sisters nodding in agreement.

"But like we were saying, that place wasn't meant for us and we got sick of living there, so we decided to move out of that place and move here, in Amity Park." Pinky said.

"...And, how has it been for you so far?" Sam nervously asked as she still felt a little bad about her attitude.

"It's been great so far, mostly because we met Danny and you guys, but the A-Listers are something that we preferred not to have in our lives. It reminds of the ones back at our old place." Blinky stated.

When Sam heard that they were happy to met Danny and Tucker and her, as well, she couldn't help but smile a bit, but a small feeling of guilt was still swirling inside of her.

Not liking how it felt, Sam took a deep breath and turned her attention towards the sisters.

"Listen, I'm really sorry about how I acted earlier. I guess I just thought that you're all were like the others and was just hanging out with us in hope of making fun of us." Sam confessed, a guilty expression on her face.

The sisters blinked at the confession. They glanced at each other before looking at the goth girl. Seeing the look on her face made them felt glad that she decided to tell them what made her so wary of them.

Not wanting to complicate the situation any further, Blinky decided to spoke up.

"It's alright, Sam. We forgive you, like, a while ago." Blinky said.

"Y-You do?" Sam asked, getting a nod in response.

"You were worried about your friends and was being cautious about us. Don't worry, we get it." Inky said.

"You do?" Sam asked again.

"We do. In fact, if we were your shoes, we would have done exactly the same thing. I mean, it's not like we can just trust anyone we just met, right?" Pinky said.

"The reason why we trust you and Tucker is because you're Danny's friends and he trusts you. And since Danny's our friend, that makes you our friend too...but only if you want to, that is." Inky stated.

Sam was surprised that they were willing to forgive her just like that. Hearing that they trust both her and Tucker reassured her a little bit, thinking that she could trust them in being their friends.

Taking a deep breath, she decided to take the first leap.

"Yeah, I guess I wouldn't mind having you join our little group." Sam said.

Hearing that Sam accepted them, the sisters perked up as they felt relieved upon receiving the goth girl's blessings, but none was more excited than Pinky as she squealed an went to hug the goth, much to her discomfort.

"Thankyouthankyouthankyou!" Pinky said in excitement.

However, even though Sam accepted the sisters, she still isn't the best when it comes to physical contact as she was starting to feel uncomfortable at the pink-haired girl's embrace.

"Human contact...crushing...goth indifference." Sam grumbled.

Danny and Tucker glanced at each other and they couldn't help but felt amused at their goth friend's situation. They also felt relieved that Sam was willing to accept the girls into their little circle.

Seeing the troubled goth, Danny decided to come to her aide.

"Alright, Pinky. You might want to let Sam go now. She's not really much of a hugger." Danny said.

Upon hearing those words, Pinky immediately let the goth go.

"Sorry. I guess I got a little too excited." Pinky sheepishly said.

"No problem, just don't hug me anymore...ever." Sam warned with Pinky replying her with the OK sign.

At that moment, an empty bottle hits the back of Danny's head, causing him to groan. When they turned to the one responsible, they saw a grinning Dash with the rest of the A-Listers.

Clyde growled when she saw the jock. She was about to get up and teach him a lesson, but Blinky and Inky stops her before she could go any further.

"Easy there, C. You better keep your cool and calm yourself." Blinky said.

"Yeah, Clyde. Take a deep breath and let it go, you'll feel better." Inky said.

Clyde did so a couple of times and she calmed down a bit.

"Thanks, sis. That helps a bit." Clyde said, feeling calmer.

"Don't mention it. By the way, does he always does this to you, cutie?" Blinky asked.

Danny sighed. "Only when the teachers aren't around and even if they are around, they still favored the A-Listers and took their side instead of us." He bitterly said.

"Yeah, too bad we can't really do anything about it. They're adults and adults are really hard to get through." Sam said.

"Maybe we can't do anything about the teachers...for now." Inky said, muttering the last part.

"But we can at least do something about them, and the dodgeball match is the perfect chance to teach them a lesson they will never forget." Blinky added, grinning as she narrowed her eyes at the A-Listers.

Her sisters also eyed the so-called popular kids group and they had the same expression on their face. Danny, Sam and Tucker saw their reaction and looked at each other in confusion.

They didn't know what the sisters have in plan for the A-Listers.

Oh, boy...

Chapter 12: END

So Sam decided to give the girls a shot at being their friends, but how long do you think it will take before her jealousy takes over? You'll have to wait a little longer for that, but for now, I hope you enjoy my latest chapter. ;)

P.S. Also, since I am still new at writing stories, I'm welcome for any suggestions that any of you might have.

Replies to my reviewers:

Guest: I'm not really sure who you are, but I'm guessing that you're Tiamat Dragoness, though if I'm wrong, I'm sorry. Anyway, yes, it is a gonna be a dodgeball match.

At first, I was gonna make Danny, Tucker and the other nerds face against the A-Listers, but after reading your comment, I decided to make it a mixed dodgeball match. I'm sorry I couldn't post the match in this chapter, but I will in the next one, so I hope you'll be patient.
