"You think Marinette will help?" Marc asked as he and Nathaniel flew around in circles.

"Don't worry I'm sure she has to have something," Nathaniel said as he turned around and gently placed his hand on Marc's.

As if on cue, a small noise was heard from nearby. The two of them flew to the their communication device where a small letter appeared. Where a folded piece of paper flew out of it. Nathaniel quickly grabbed and opened it up.

To Marc and Nathaniel,

I'm sorry here what Adrien is going through. Please let him know I wish him the best. Unfortunately there is nothing that I can do personally but there is someone I know who made be able to help. An old friend of my mine lives in the woods and it will take than an hour to walk there. Her name is Alix Kubdel is very knowledgeable in history and might know something on the Agreste family and the curse. To find her go to her cottage, it stands out as it is blue and white. Knock on her door and say Magic Pocket Watch and she'll know you know me.

I wish you well. Love,

Marinette.

"And that's all she said," Nathaniel said as he fold the paper back up.

"So we have to trust some random person who lives in the woods," Kagami said as she rolled her eyes. "Great."

"Maybe she's a friend from school," Plagg responded with a small shrug.

"Well Marinette has mentioned Alix a few times in passing," Marc said rubbing his chin a little.

"And besides," Plagg turned to face Adrien, still fast asleep on the couch. "If it will help Adrien..."

"Fine," Kagami sighed. "If it will help him."

"I think it's this way," Nathaniel said as he lead the group through the words.

"This is very strange," Adrien thought to himself as they kept walking. He hadn't been in the woods since coming to the Quantum Kingdom. And as far as he was aware, neither Kagami or Plagg frequented it. Well maybe Kagami did while he was working but he couldn't be fully sure.

"Oh I think that's it!" Marc said pointing to a cottage a little ways in front of them. It was blue and white in color, making it stand out among the trees. But it also seemed to somewhat blend in due to it being covered in vines.

"Okay here it goes." Nathaniel said as he flew up to the door. Gently he started to knock before saying, "Magic Pocket Watch!"

"Magic Pocket Watch?" Adrien thought to himself as he titled his a little.

"What's this guests?" a voice from from inside said, as footsteps started to be heard. The door slowly creaked opened. Adrien looked down and saw a girl, presumably around his age, with pinkish hair, partly tied in a side pony. "Hello there friends of Marinette."

"Hello, are you Alix?" Nathanial asked with a small wave.

"My what fun guest we have here!" the girl said walking out. "The kwami of Destruction, his wielder, two fairies. Oh? What's this? A Tsuguri dragon? Wow you're far from home? What bring's this fun group to my cottage."

"You never answered his question," Kagami said stepping forward.

"Well no one else lives here." The girl laughed a little. "But yes I am Alix Kubdel. Now if you want to enter my cottage you must answer my question. What brings you to my humble cottage?"

"Listen, we know about your magic and we desire your help."

Alix did not move one bit.

"We know you deal history," Marc started, flying in front of Kagami.

"And we have a question for you but it must be done in priviate for reason," Nathaniel added.

"Priviate, eh?" Alix rubbed her chin a little.

"It's about me isn't it?" Adrien asked stepping forward. Marc and Nathaniel both nodded nervously.

"You do have a kwami," Alix pondered rubbing her chin a little. "Alright, if you explain more to me inside you can stay. But fair warning, I can kick anyone out who I please. Looking at you Tsuguri."

The group followed Alix causiously into her cottage. Once they were all inside, Alix snapped her fingers and the door closed behind them. With a small clap of her a single candle lit up between them and a blue chair appeared behind Alix. Upon which she quickly sat with a smile.

"So please tell me what brings you here?" Alix said with a smile. Her eyes though not leaving the group.

"We need you magic," Kagami said stepping forward.

"Like I haven't heard that before." Alix rolled her eyes.

"Pardon me," Adrien said stepping forward. "But you wouldn't happen to be a Memory Witch?"

"A Memory Witch?" Alix raised an eyebrow. "That's an outdated term..."

Without another word, Alix got up from her chair and walked over to Adrien. She levitated herself a little and squished his cheeks. Adrien saw a gleam in her eyes before she smiled widely.

"Well I'll be damned, Marinette sure found herself a fun new friend."

"Do you know who I am?" Adrien asked stepping back a little.

"Not fully but it seems like you got a juicy broken curse on you."

"I'm Prince Adrien Agreste of the old Agreste kingdom. I apologize I don't know why my friends brought me here, but if you are a Memory Witch could you possibily find out what happened to my parents."

"That's why we're here!" Plagg said flying over. "To see if she can help with that."

"Now we're getting somewhere!" Alix clapped before spinning a little. Suddenly the whole room lit up.

"Come, come sit down," Alix said excitedly as she summoned a tea set. "Don't be shy enjoy yourselves. Relax and we can see what I can do to help you!"

Adrien smiled and swiftly sat down on the couch across from Alix. Alix was quick to pour him a cup of tea which he quickly accepted. Plagg was the first to join him, upon smelling some cheese Alix summoned. Her cheeky grin gave Adrien the impression she had some idea of what Plagg's deal was. Soon Marc and Nathaniel followed sitting on the top of the couch. Kagami was hestitant. Basicially standing off to the side with her arms crossed. Adrien looked at her confused, Kagami sighed and slowly walked over to sit next to him.

"So Adrien you're a prince of an abandon kingdom," Alix said with a grin. "So how did you even end up in our time?"

"Well someone my placed a curse on me sometime before my sixteenth birthday," Adrien begin, trying his best to hide the pain in his voice. "Plagg here was able to alter it but it didn't go unbroken for three hundred years. Marinette was able to break it and so here I am now living in the furture or present I guess."

"Hmm interesting." Alix tapped her fingers together. "Does explain the magic surge I felt with you. Unfortunately, the time line is not to be messed with so I ain't sending you back."

"But do you have a way to figure out what happened with my parents?" Adrien clutched his heart a little. "I've for a lack of better word been tormented by their fate. I lived freed while they suffered. I don't know what do to."

"Does the Tsuguri dragon have any idea?"

"All I know is they left I have no idea what might have happened to them." Kagami looked down, ashamed.

"Hmm I can think of one spell. But it might be crazy so here me out." Alix grinned excitedly. "So magical objects have untapped memory to them. It's believed to be a side effect of their enchantment. If any of you happen have one or can fetch one. I could pull out the memory and we can see firsthand what happened. For you see neither an object nor memory, can lie."

"Could my diadem work?" Adrien thought to himself, slowly reaching into his bag. "I'm not sure it's enchanted but maybe it was later."

Before Adrien could say anything Kagami stood up. "I have this ring my mother gave me. It was a reminder of where I came from and too always honor the Tsuguri clan values. I'm sure it has some magic too it."

Alix cautiously took the silver ring in her hand. She swiftly brushed her hand over the top of it and a small glow came from it. Kagami gave a surprisingly eager smile upon seeing it.

"Oh yes this could work. Don't worry the ring will remained unharmed." Alix placed the ring on the table. "Now the trickery but also fun part is finding the right memory."

Alix whispered a few words and the ring started to glow. A white smoke begin to arise from the ring. Soon figures started to be formed from the smoke. Alix reminded focused on the sight. Adjusting this the scene at will. Adrien was amazed by it all. Though was a bit taken aback when he own faced appeared from when he was trapped in his slumber, while a hand caressed his cheek. Eventually, it focused on his parents. His mother appeared to be crying and resting her head on his father's shoulders. Fighting back tears, Adrien started to reach for them.

"No touching," Alix barked a little but still gently. "We do not want to disturb the the memory. And this might be the we need to pay attention."

Alix snapped her fingers and the figured started to move. Adrien took note of Kagami look intently at what was going on.

"How could this happen to us, my dear Gabriel?" the figure of Adrien's mother said.

"Don't worry my dear Emilie," the figure King Gabriel said taking his wife's hand and kissing it.

"But everything he planned for him." Queen Emilie's voice started to break. "He'll never get to expirence any of it."

"Must have been a grand party," Adrien thought quietly.

"Don't worry Gabriel-san," a voice rang out.

"Mother," Kagami said quietly before clutching the finger where she normally wore her ring.

"I will entrust my daughter in protecting your son," Kagami's mother continued. "Even in his cursed slumber he will be loved and cared for."

"What about you Tomoe?" Gabriel asked raising a slight eyebrow.

"I could ask the same thing about you." Tomoe's normally stotic voice started to break. "As for me, I will return to my clan's homeland for the time being. Of course I will check on Kagami as I can but the Tsuguri still need me."

"I'm sure your clan will welcome her," Emilie voice said softly.

Tomoe was silent after a moment continued. "It is possible."

"Oh if you get the get the change please visit us. My sister has offered us protection in her castle. Bring Kagami if you'd like."

"Perhaps I can," Tomoe said firmly and the memory seemed to show her fist clenching. "But Kagami will be here to protect Adrien. It is the least we can do after you done so much for us."

"So they took shelter at my aunt's kingdom." Adrien said softly.

"What kingdom was that?" Alix asked excitedly.

"Oh the Kingdom of Vanily!"

"Give me a moment," Alix stood up and ran. "I'll be back in a moment."

"Isn't this great Kagam..." Adrien looked over to see his friend gone. Quickly he stood up and saw her by the door. Clutching her hands to her heart.

"Kagami?" Adrien said softly walking up to her.

"Oh Adrien," Kagami gasped a little. She took a few breaths in before turning to Adrien. "Apologies for this but the memory brought back some feelings."

"Is about your mother?" Adrien asked. Kagami slowly nodded. "But didn't she visit you? Like she said."

"It's hard for my mother. When she was a child, she lost her eyesight with no cure. Of course being a Tsuguri she adapted but it makes it hard for her to travel across the sea."

"Kagami." Adrien gently grabbed her hand. "Your mother mentioned some debt to my parents but you own nothing to me. Please go to her to see her. I didn't even know your mother owned my parents anything."

"Let's just say your parents did my mother a huge favor. And even with your words I do not feel like the debt is repaid." Adrien raised an eyebrow, something seemed off with Kagami's statement. He believed his parents could possibly do something but there seemed to be something more to it.

"I found it!" Alix said jumping over the couch. She quickly handed Adrien a book. "This has knowledge on the Vanily kingdom. Hopefully it will give you the closer you need. Keep it as long as you need as long as I get it back. With minimal damage of course."

Adrien glanced at Kagami who now seemed genuinely excited with this aspect. Adrien smiled back at Alix. "Thank you so much it means a lot to me."
