Hey guys Goku here and I'm back with another chapter. I hope you enjoyed the inclusion of GoJyuJin. Since the first time I came up with this story I always wanted to include a mecha fight as sentai isn't really sentai without a mecha fight ya know?
Well anyway I hope you enjoy this next chapter.
Here are the reviews:
Saramus92: Glad you enjoyed it. Yes I wonder hmmm….
Saido opened his eyes, being blinded by light with a groan before his eyes adjusted. He looked around to see that he was in an unfamiliar white room as he tried to piece together what happened and where he was. 'Last thing I remember was fighting Ryufun and then…' Saido thought as his eyes widened in realization. He slowly sat up wincing in pain from his injuries. 'Ryufun that bastard! He was right there. I could have destroyed him, but instead he wiped the floor with me, and he was able to make that strange bird thing grow giant to boot. I didn't think the Dobustumi would be this strong, and they seem to only be getting stronger. Meanwhile I'm just some weak kid that got easily baited.' Saido gripped his sheets so hard that his knuckles were turning white. He would have stayed like that for a good while had he not noticed the weight on his legs. He looked up to see Yui with her head and arms on the foot of his bed sleeping. Saido looked confused. 'Has she been waiting here for me? How long has she been here? How long have I been here?' He thought as he started to look more closely at Yui. He watched as her hair slowly moved back and forth in front of her face in rhythm to her breathing. Looking closely he could now see dimples on her face that he never noticed before. 'She looks really cute.' He thought to himself. 'She must have been worried about me cause of my injuries. She really has been here with me throughout this whole thing since we met, and the Dobustumi are getting tougher. Maybe I should… No! I can't allow others to get involved. I mean look at what they did to me and I had a protective suit!' He thought looking at his bandages. 'I'm the only one that can do this. I'll just have to get stronger. To stop the Dobutsumi.' He looked back up at Yui with a determined face. "And to protect the people I care about." He said in a whisper.
Whether it was from his whisper or his movement, Yui started to stir until she sat up and rubbed her groggy eyes. After a moment she noticed Saido and her eyes widened before she lunged forward to hug the boy.
"You're awake!" She said not bothering to put up the plain expression she normally wears.
"Yeah I'm awake. How long was I out?" Saido replied, blushing slightly from the sudden hug.
"A couple of days."
"Days?!" Saido shouted. "Were you here the entire time?" The boy wondered.
The girl nodded her head. "I had nothing better to do plus I was worried so I've been here every day until visiting hours were over." She explained with a light blush on her face.
'Did I seriously make her worry that much?' Saido thought.
"That's not important right now. You were hurt pretty badly. What happened out there? You summoned GoJyuJin and beat that bird monster but then blindly rushed in to fight Ryufun. Why?" Yui said with concern in her eyes.
"I lost my cool. After defeating that giant Tsumimono I went to face Ryufun, but he was too strong. He was able to dodge all of my attacks and even when I landed a hit on him he barely had a scratch on him. I should have kept my distance, played it safe, and thought of a plan to fight him. Instead Ryufun taunted me about killing my mother and I lost it. All I could think about at that moment was destroying him and I got knocked around for my troubles. I was stupid and dumb. I'm sorry for worrying you." Saido explained with a heavy sigh.
Yui shook her head. "It's fine. Don't beat yourself up over it. You made a mistake, but that's why we are attending U.A., to make sure we don't make the same mistakes."
"I couldn't have said it better myself."
The two teens turned towards the door to see Nezu standing on top of the shoulder of a man in a beige trench coat.
"Kodai is right, you made a dumb mistake, Ikari, but you can always learn from your mistakes and grow from them. That is the job of us teachers at U.A. to nurture you young aspiring kids into great and proper heroes. Now onto business, this is Tsukauchi, a detective. He's here to collect reports from you guys about what happened at the USJ, and don't worry about hiding anything, he can be trusted."
Tsukauchi raised an eyebrow at that before he sat down and looked at the two teens. "Alright let's get started." He took out a pen and paper and pointed the paper at Saido. "If you can, I'd like you to tell me everything about what happened at the USJ from start to finish."
Saido nodded and recounted what had happened from his point of view. He explained about the villains and Ryufun, also explaining about the Dobustumi, and how he and Eraserhead had gone down to fight them.
Tsukauchi nodded along using his quirk, Lie Detector, to see if the boy was telling the truth but genuinely was surprised that all of what he was telling the man was true.
"The villains had a strange creature with them. It wasn't a Tsumimono but it didn't seem very human either. I think the hands guy called it a Nomu? Either way it gave off very bad vibes, but it never got to even move before Ryufun stabbed it and turned it into a Tsumimono. However this time was different as the now Dragon Tsumimono grew to giant size. I went to Eraserhead and asked him for permission to stop the now giant beast, which he reluctantly gave me. So, I then called the transforming flying drill from the future, GoJyuDrill, to fight the giant Tsumimono by transforming into the giant robot GoJyuJin. I was able to defeat it and it shrunk back to normal size somewhere in the forest surrounding the USJ."
Tsukauchi sat there dumbfounded that this absurd story the boy was telling was actually true.
"After that I sent GoJyuDrill back to the future and dropped back in the USJ to face Ryufun. He was a lot stronger than I anticipated but I kept fighting him anyway, trying to destroy him after he taunted me about killing my mother. He blasted me back and caused me to detransform and blackout. Then I woke up here." Saido finished.
Tsukauchi finished writing in his notepad and turned to Yui to get her side. Yui nodded and explained to the detective while using her neutral demeanor again.
'Why is she back to that face all of a sudden?' Saido wondered.
Tsukauchi finished up his notes and then stood up to leave. "Thanks, I appreciate it. You kids did good considering the situation. Don't worry about the villains, we will handle that. Nezu I'll make sure to run my report by you as well." The man said as he bid the group farwell.
"Well this has surely been a surprising turn of events. I know you just woke up Ikari, but I would like to let you know that we gave everyone a few days off from school and that we will return tomorrow. I heard the words of all your other classmates and all of them are wondering about your abilities, the giant mech, and your connection with Ryufun. I know it was something you were trying to avoid but that is no longer an option at this point. I suggest that you explain everything to your class tomorrow when you return." Nezu explained.
Saido sighed in response. "I was worried this would happen. Alright I'll tell them everything. Although Principle if I may, I have a suggestion for how to do it. I'd ask Aizawa-sensei but I don't think he would agree to my idea."
"Ohoho? Do tell." Nezu smirked at the boy.
"Did you see the news last night?! They showed our class for a second. I wish I stood out there more." The invisible girl Hagakure moped.
"Kinda hard to stand out when you look like that." Ojiro awkwardly laughed.
"But man, all the channels were making a big deal about it." Kaminari said.
"Makes sense, the hero course that keeps pumping out heroes was attacked." Jiro said.
"Who knows what would have happened if that giant robot didn't appear." Sero said.
"What was that anyway? I remember seeing that bird creature grow giant and then a big drill came flying out of a portal and transformed into a robot to fight it. It was so mainly!" Kirishima cried out.
"I heard it call out its name. It said GoJyuJin. Whatever that is." Jiro said.
"You think it has something to do with Saido?" Mina questioned. "He seemed to know about what was going on. He called the weird things we fought Inpuzen and said the dragon guy's name was Ryufun."
Todoroki tuned into the conversation at this point as he was asking the same questions.
"Has anyone seen Saido yet? He was hurt pretty badly. Is he still in the hospital? Do you know anything Midoriya?" Momo asked, turning towards the green haired boy.
Surprised by the mention, the boy nervously answered. "N-n-no I-I h-haven't h-heard a-anything y-y-yet."
"Hmm Kodai isn't here either. Very suspicious." Mina said with a mischievous smirk.
"Ashido, I humbly ask that you refrain from insinuating anything about our classmates. It is disrespectful to them and the trust they have put in us. Now I know that I am not a class rep but I ask that we all take our seats."
"You're the only one not in their seat." Kaminari called out.
"Ah I see well I apologize for my ignorance." Iida said, embarrassed.
"Iida please sit down." Aizawa called from the doorway.
"Yes Sir!"
Aizawa walked in the room looking the same as always. The only difference being that his arm and elbow was wrapped up in a cast and sling.
"Aizawa-sensei, are you alright?" Tsuyu asked.
"This is nothing. If you think this injury is enough to stop a pro hero then you need to rethink your choices. Anyway before we begin, to my annoyance, Principle Nezu wants us to meet him outside for an important announcement."
"But Aizawa-sensei, what about Saido and Kodai?" Momo questioned with her hand raised.
"No need to worry yourselves over them. Just meet outside at the P.E. Grounds. No need to change, just head straight there." Aizawa explained.
Everyone nodded at the man and followed his instructions wondering what could be so important that the Principle needed to announce to them.
After a few minutes everyone was out on the field where Principle Nezu was waiting as well as surprisingly Class 1-B was waiting there as well.
"Ah so the fabled Class 1-A finally shows themselves! Here to look down on us for having actual villain exper…" A blonde haired boy bellowed before getting chopped in the head by an orange haired girl.
"Sorry about him. Monoma has this delusion that you guys think you are better than everyone cause of the attack which I'm assuming is not true. I'm Kendo Itsuka, Class 1-B's representative it's nice to meet you all." She explained with a friendly smile.
"Likewise. I'm Yaoyorozu Momo Class 1-A's vice representative. Our representative unfortunately isn't here right now but I can assure you that Class 1-A as a whole doesn't think down on others because of this experience. In fact it was quite traumatic for a lot of us." The prim and proper girl explained.
"Can you extras shut up so we can get on with this stupid announcement!" Bakugo yelled.
"I'm sorry he's like our Class's Monoma, but he is right we should let the Principle get on with whatever he brought us out here for." Momo said as both girls nodded and turned towards the small chimera.
"Good I see that everyone is here and accounted for so we may now begin."
"Principal Nezu sir, what did you bring us out here for?" Uraraka asked, raising her hand.
Nezu smirked almost maliciously which scared the two homeroom teachers. "Oh I'm not the one who brought you out here." He said causing much confusion amongst the students and even the teachers. Seeing that he's played it long enough Nezu brought out his phone and made a call to someone.
After a moment everyone waiting saw a bright red galleon ship break through the clouds and stop above them.
"What is that?!" A brown spiky haired boy named Tsuburaba Kosei from 1-B yelled.
"Is this another villain attack?" A brown haired girl named Komori Kinoko said worried.
"Is that Pirate Ship?" A blonde girl with horns named Tsunotori Pony said in broken japanese.
Eventually the group watched as Yui descended down on a rope from the ship. The girl just looked at everyone before giving a small wave and donning her usual blank expression. "Sorry I'm late."
Class 1-A and even some from 1-B wanted to question her but before anyone could ask anything, they saw a silver figure fall from the ship and land on the ground creating a dust cloud that obscured them from view. The two classes prepared for whatever would come next until the dust cleared revealing Saido in his transformed state. Class 1-B was confused while 1-A was surprised to see their classmate.
Saido powered down and gave a smile to the group. "Hey guys. Sorry I'm late."
"I already used that line." Yui said.
"Really? Damn it Yui, you could have told me. I could have come up with a different line!" Saido complained while the girl stuck her tongue out at him in response.
Mina watched this interaction and thought, 'Oh there is definitely something going on with them.', and smirked.
"Saido!" The class called out going up to him, happy to see that he is alright.
"Are you all healed?" Momo asked.
"What happened with those villains?" Izuku asked.
"Did you see the giant robot?! It was so manly!" Kirishima said.
"What do you know about those creatures?" Todoroki asked, surprising everyone as no one was expecting him to say anything.
"Alright alright calm down. I'll tell you guys everything. I asked Nezu to bring everyone out here to help with explaining. Plus I figured 1-B should also be made aware of this as well. You all might want to sit down as this will take a while." Saido explained.
Those that wanted to sit sat while the rest continued to stand.
"Alright well I should start from the beginning. When I was young my mother always kept a strange small chest but never told me what was in it. I was always curious but never went against her wishes and opened it. After being diagnosed as quirkless, life started to go downhill as I was treated as less of a human by peers and teachers alike. They called me names, beat me up, and generally avoided me like if they were around me too long they would catch the "quirkless disease". Whenever I tried to fight back the teachers either ignored me entirely or made it so I was the one that started everything and only punished me." Saido started explaining with some people gasping over the treatment that quirkless people like Saido endured. "It wasn't all that bad as I was able to find a friend." He continued looking at Izuku as if asking for permission. The boy nodded in response. "That was when I met Izuku. At the time everyone thought he was quirkless just like me, but as it turned out, Izuku was a late bloomer."
"I never knew you were a late bloomer Deku." Uraraka said to him.
"I see now it makes sense why your quirk hurt you so much. You weren't used to it. Although being a late bloomer this late is unheard of." Iida said with his hand on his chin.
"Weirder things have happened in our world. Anyways, having a friend made things a bit easier. Eventually time went on and things were fine, until three years ago. My mom woke me up in the middle of the night and told me to get dressed. I was confused but this was the most serious I've ever heard her be so I listened. I quickly got dressed and she rushed me out of the house and held my hand as we started to run. I wanted to ask her what was wrong and why we were running from the house but I paused when I looked up and saw her carrying the chest. Suddenly we were both pushed to the ground by an explosion behind us. We turned to see that our house had been blown up and in the fire I could make out several shadowy figures that looked like different animals. Seeing this my mother quickly handed me the chest and the key and explained to me our history. She said that we were descendants of Ikari Gai, Gokai Silver, and that since the Super Sentai faded away from history, our family had protected the powers and secrets for generations. She said to open the chest once I was safe and that it would give me all the answers I'd need and then told me to run. I tried to plead with her to come with me. That we could escape together but she just yelled at me to go. So I hesitantly listened and started running as fast as I could, tears in my eyes never looking back until I heard a scream. I begrudgingly turned back only to see Ryufun, the dragon guy from the USJ, holding my mother by the throat. Part of me wanted to go back and help her. Another part of me wanted to listen to her and run, but I was unable to do either. Standing there frozen still, I watched as Ryufun laughed wickedly and snapped her neck." Saido said with a pained expression causing some to gasp and others to look down dejectedly.
"Sai, I had no clue! Why didn't you tell me? Me and my mom would have helped. You know that!" Izuku said, slightly crying over finding out that his best friend's mother had died.
Saido looked to be having trouble after relieving his painful memory until Yui placed her hand on his shoulder in a comforting manner. He looked up and nodded at her smiling, which didn't go unnoticed by Mina and a green haired girl from 1-B. Saido then turned back towards Izuku. "I'm sorry I never told you Izu. After losing my mom I worried that they might go after anyone else I was close to. So aside from school I kept my distance. Anyway after witnessing that," He said with a layer of pain in his voice. "I was so distraught that I panicked and decided that I needed answers right now and opened the chest. When I did the chest shot out a bright light that broke the sky. Realizing my mistake and that I just alerted the figures to where I was, I felt hopeless. That I failed my mother's wishes to live and be safe, but just then a large red ship came flying overhead with a rope extended down to me. Without any hesitation I grabbed it and it pulled me up and flew off escaping the figures. Once aboard I found that the ship had a well kept living arrangement. I also figured out that there was no one else on the ship and that it was piloting itself. Exploring more I discovered that the ship had a database on it that I could access and that's where I learned everything. The ship I was on was called the Gokai Galleon and it served as the ship for the space pirate crew the Gokaigers which my ancestor was a part of. I also learned about the entire history of the Super Sentai. All of their abilities and powers, their battles and enemies, everything was there. That's where my powers come from. The Gokaigers had the ability to transform to their own powers but also could transform into the other sentai rangers using what are known as ranger keys." He explained holding a couple of silver and gold keys in his hand. "Oftentimes the monsters fought by the Super Sentai would grow giant and they would use giant robots to fight back. That's where the robot that appeared at the USJ came from. The original Gokai Silver was able to call forth a drillship from the future called GoJyuDrill that could transform into a robot form and seeing as there was a giant monster at the USJ I'd figured I try it out and sure enough it worked."
"Wait, there was a giant monster and robot fight at the USJ? Why didn't we hear anything about it?" Kaibara from 1-B asked.
"Because that information was never made public. Lucky the USJ was an isolated incident and only those here saw what happened. Otherwise the reporters would be all over this place again trying to get a scoop on a giant robot suddenly appearing." Aizawa explained.
"Bro you can call a robot from the future anytime you want? That's so manly!" Kirishima said.
"Right it's totally awesome bro!" Another boy from 1-B Tetsutetsu said somehow matching the red hair's energy.
"This is cool and all but how does this relate to us?" A white haired boy named Honenuki said while gesturing to 1-B. "Seems like all of this only serves to give your class an explanation."
"Isn't it obvious?" Monoma said. "It's to brag how much better they are then 1-B by having someone with such advanced technology! They think they're superior just because they survived a villain attack!" The boy loudly proclaimed much to the ire of Class 1-A, but before he could continue he was chopped in the head again by Kendo.
"Thanks." Saido said, smiling at the girl who smiled and nodded back. "Now if you let me finish I'll explain the real reason why I called everyone out here. Using the Galleon's computer I tried to search for anything about the figures that attacked me and my mom. I found out that they were called the Dobutsumi. Seven powerful creatures all created from the mortal sins of man each one representing a deadly sin. Their goal is to cause chaos and havoc and turn the world into one of sin. To do that they use people's sins and turn them into monsters like them called Tsumimono. That is why I called you all out here. To warn you about them. So far I've had to fight two people that were turned by them. One was a random office worker and the other was a student taking the entrance exam."
Everyone looked surprised to hear that a student was one of them.
"They were both targeted due to their large amount of sin they displayed. I had to step in and cleanse them of their corrupted sin but it doesn't matter. Once the Dobutsumi transform you, they are already collecting the sin that they need. So we all need to control our emotions and prevent the Dobutsumi from getting what they want. Also we should try and look out for them and let me know as unfortunately I am the only one with the technology and power capable of stopping them as they are unaffected by quirks."
"Why can't you just give the powers to more people like Pro Heroes to help stop them?" Honenuki said, asking the question that everyone else was thinking.
"It doesn't work like that. The powers of the Sentai can't just be given or used by anyone. They have a will of their own and only those "chosen" or "deemed worthy" can wield them, however that works." Saido explained using air quotes.
"How will we know if come across one of these Dobutsumi?" Kendo asked.
"They look like humanoid animals but they look and feel different from those with mutation quirks. You will know when you see them." Yui spoke up this time explaining for Saido.
"Wait, how do you know this Kodai?" Momo spoke up.
"Oh Saido saved me from the student that was turned after they tried to touch my breasts." She said with her typical blank expression and tone.
"WHAT?!" The majority of the classes yelled out.
"Are you ok?" Mina asked.
"Like I said, Saido saved me." She replied and then looked down at her phone.
"Anyway…" Saido said, trying to finish the original conversation. "That's all I wanted to say to everyone." He finished gesturing to Nezu.
"Yes, as Ikari said you all need to look out for these Dobustumi as well as keep your emotions in check. Knowing this information I believe I should also mention that anyone that does end up becoming a Tsumimono will be immediately moved down to Gen Ed." Nezu said surprising everyone, including Saido. "Well this explanation surely has gone on long enough so all of you may return to your classrooms." Nezu said as everyone nodded and walked back to their respective classrooms.
Once everyone was back in their seats including Yui and Saido, Aizawa continued with what he had planned to say before. "Now that is out of the way we can get to more important matters. Your battle is not over."
"Battle?" Bakugo wondered.
"The U.A. Sports Festival draws near." Aizawa continued.
"Are we sure it's ok to have the Sports Festival so soon after the villain attack?" Jiro asked.
"Apparently it's supposed to show that our crisis management system is still solid by holding the event, but security will be at a much higher level than previous years. This is also a very important event for you all. It's not something to be canceled over a few villains or creatures."
"Right, the Festival is very important for scouting purposes." Momo said.
"Of course joining a famous hero agency will give you more experience and popularity. Your time is limited. The Festival only comes once a year for your three years here. You only have three chances, so don't blow any of them." Aizawa exclaimed.
"Yes Sir!"
"Man, we're really on the path to pros now!" Sero exclaimed.
"As long as we do well in the Sports Festival." Tokoyami said.
"Well I bet Saido'll be a number one contender. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up winning the whole thing." Kaminari said.
"Oh please I'm not that strong." Saido argued.
"Dude, you have over 100 different forms and can summon a giant robot at will." Kaminari deadpanned.
"Yeah Sai-bro! Plus your moves are totally manly! Of course that giant robot was so manly as well!" Kirishima exclaimed.
"Well it's not like I can call Gojyujin during the festival." Saido pouted.
'Cute.' Yui thought while watching Saido get teased by the other guys.
"So~, what's going on with you and Saido?" Mina questioned the girl.
Yui turned towards her with her blank expression. "I don't know what you mean."
"Oh come on you can't tell me there isn't at least a little something going on between you two."
"Nope." Yui replied.
"Really? You're telling me you don't feel anything for the dashing rogue that saved you when you were at your most vulnerable." Mina said dramatically.
This caused Yui to think back about how Saido came in and saved her from the Bighorn Tsumimono. How cool he looked and how safe he made her feel just from his smile. She smiled as her heart skipped a beat.
"Ah-ha! I knew it!" Mina proclaimed.
Yui's normally calm demeanor dropped as her eyes widened. "K-knew what?" She stuttered.
"That you have a crush on Saido!" Mina exclaimed.
"I d-don't have a crush on him…" Yui tried to argue. "Do I?"
"Your reaction says it all!" Mina said.
This caused Yui to really think about everything that has happened since she met Saido. Before she was just casually strolling through life not really experiencing much in terms of emotion just working towards her goal of becoming a hero. But now she can easily say that after meeting Saido her life seemed to change for the better. It was as if her emotions over the years have been held back by a dam and Saido was the one that cracked it open. Emotions that she forgot even existed, but due to years of habit she still hides it all behind her neutral expression. Although she noticed that while around Saido she started to drop her normal expression and let all these new yet familiar emotions show on her face. Thinking about it, she doesn't know if she has a crush on Saido or not, but she does think meeting him is the best thing to happen to her. Regaining her usual composure she turned back towards Mina who eyed her with giddy anticipation. "I don't know."
This caused Mina to slump forward in shock and disappointment. "What do you mean you don't know!?"
Yui shrugged. "I don't know." She repeated as she picked up her bag and walked away.
Mina pouted at her answer but decided to leave it be. 'Things will happen between those two eventually. I just know it!'
Deciding it was time to leave, Yui saved Saido from being teased more as both opened the door to walk out only to see a large group of students waiting outside their classroom.
"What the hell?" Saido said.
"What business do you have with our class?" Iida questioned while chopping the air.
"Isn't it obvious! They're scouting out the enemy." Bakugo said, walking towards them. "We're the ones who survived a villain attack. Probably want to check us out before the Sports Festival." He said calmly.
"Wow Bakugo I didn't know you could say anything without yelling." Saido said, teasing the boy.
"SHUT IT SILVER BOY!"
"Ah there's the normal Bakugo."
Bakugo looked back towards the group of students outside the room. "Out of my way Extras."
"You can't call people extras just because you don't know them!" Iida proclaimed while chopping his hand towards Bakugo.
"Hmm I came here to see what the fabled Class 1-A was like, but you seem pretty arrogant. Are all Hero course students like this?" A purple haired boy with tired eyes walked forward.
"Nah, that's just Bakugo. Ignore him. He'll do the same to you anyway." Saido spoke up, causing the boy in question to growl. "So let me guess. You're here to tell us to watch our backs cause our spot could be taken by anyone in the general course right?"
The purple haired boy's eyes widened at Saido accurately predicting what he was gonna say.
Seeing this Saido smirked. "Well all I'll say is good luck. I understand that the entrance exam is catered towards more combat oriented quirks but there was more to it than just destroying robots. I mean hell one of our classmate's quirk just makes her invisible but she still was able to pass. So as far as I'm concerned everyone here earned their spot in the hero course and if anyone else wants to be here then you'll have to earn that spot too so bring your A game!" Saido exclaimed with a smile while holding his hand up for a fist bump towards the purple haired kid. He looked surprised at first but then smiled and fist bumped Saido back.
"You know you're actually interesting. Name's Shinso Hitoshi."
"Ikari Saido. See you at the Sports Festival. Come on Yui." Saido responded before grabbing the girl's hand and leading her away while she had a small blush from the boy's speech.
Shinso smirked and then walked away from the classroom.
"Out of my way extras!" Bakugo yelled as the group of students moved away to let the explosive boy through.
Seeing that there was nothing else for them to see, the group dissolved and went their own ways, allowing class 1-A to leave and prepare themselves for the coming week.
A few days earlier
In a dark orange cave a figure shimmered into being. "Hehehe that was fun!" Ryufun said cackling.
"Did you do what you were told to Ryufun?" A seductive voice said.
"Of course I did Urahebi. What do you take me for? An Idiot?" Ryufun responded looking towards the voice as Urahebi shimmered into view.
"But you are an idiot Baaaa." Yokuyagi said, leaning on one of the walls of the cave.
"I ssssstill don't know why we let him do thissss in the firsssst place. It sssshould have been me." Urahebi hissed.
"You? It should have been me! I should have gone. I would have killed everyone. Please let me kill them this time!" A rabid voice called out. Sitting on an elevated rock was a humanoid fox creature with red fur, sharp claws, and red eyes. A set of two tails wiggled behind him in anticipation.
"Can you be quiet for one second Donkitsu. I'm trying to nap." A tired voice said with a yawn. Laying on another protruding rock in the cave was an anthropomorphic sloth creature with a tired face and long body. On each of his hands sat a set of razor sharp claws. His fur was mostly gray with some tufts of brown. He let out another yawn showcasing his rather sharp teeth.
"Oh come now Hairotaida. You're always napping. Why don't you get out and live a little!" A hearty voice spoke out. Sitting at a makeshift table made of stone with a large amount of food and a large barrel laying next to them was an anthropomorphic boar creature with a purplish-black hide and long pointy tusks protruding from his face. He proceeded to then consume all of the food on the table, silverware and all, before washing it all down with the large barrel of liquid next to him.
"Ughh mussssst you consssssume everything you dissssgusssting pig!?" Urahebi said grossed out.
"Oh please, like you can just stop being envious. Okuishi's just representing his sin, like all of us hehehe!" Ryufun laughed.
The boar in question replied by burping which caused a large ball of energy to come shooting out of his mouth. It soared past the other Dobutsumi before a hand stopped the blast. The hand belonged to a large muscular human man with a set of gladiatorial armor and gauntlets draped with the large mane of a lion. He had what looked to be warriors face paint on his face and he carried around a large sword.
"Enough! All of you! These petty squabbles are useless."
"I ssssee that Raikori the ssssso called "greatessst of the Dobutsssumi" hassss graced us with hissss pressssence." Urahebi said sarcastically.
Raikori just glared at the snake woman before continuing. "Ryufun was the best one of us for this job. The creature they called a "Nomu'' was a mindless slave made for destruction. Wrath was the only sin a being such as that could emit. If you went Urahebi, then we would have gotten nothing out of it. Because of Ryufun we know that we can make the Tsumimono giant and gather more mortal sin. I feel that the time will be soon.
The other Dobutsumi all looked surprised.
"Baaa, You mean?" Yokuyagi said.
"Yes. Our lord Genzanami shall return!" Raikori yelled as he and the rest of the Dobutsumi kneeled before a large black monument that had all the heads of the the animals they represent on it as a black miasma coalesced around it.
Hey Guys Goku here and boy was this a little bit tricky to write. I wanted to make Saido's explanation not just a dump of exposition especially since we have already heard his story before so I hope I made that at least entertaining with the class interactions. Finally all the Dobutsumi have appeared and we get a glimpse of their personalities and how it relates to their sin. Next time the sports festival is finally upon us so keep an eye out for that and I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Dragneel Out!
