Chapter 9: The Last Place Crystal was Seen

We walked up to the building and when Horn was about to walk in, I stopped them. "Hold up," I said. "We should go in prepared. We all know that they are on to us. We need someone to stay outside just in case."

"I'll be the one to stay outside," Boob replied.

"Ok," said Potion. "But I should've been the one to stay outside."

"But I already said I would," replied Boob. "I don't want you hurt."

"Fine," replied Potion. "You can stay outside and I'll go in with the detective and Horn."

"Thank you," exclaimed Boob. "You are my beautiful daughter and I can't let you die like that."

"Dad," said Potion with an embarrassed tone."

"Now go," said Boob.

"Ok," said Potion.

"Well," I said. "That's settled. Now let us begin the search for more evidence." Me, Horn and Potion walked into the building. It was a little sus that the door was unlocked for us but I knew we were being tracked so it made since. Horn led us to the basement where Crystal was tied up. "Is this the place?"

"I remember it clearly," answered Horn.

"Alright," I replied. "Since Horn said she was here, this must be the place. Let's split up and search the room for clues." The other kittydogs agreed and we got straight to it. I was expecting both of them to search every inch of the room. If they wanted to help solve the case, they needed to know where to look. This why I taught them beforehand. I noticed a lot of dust. This did make since cause the building was abandoned after the kidnappers fled.

"I noticed something," exclaimed Potion. "Come take a look at this." We went over to where Potion pointed.

"What do you think it is," I questioned.

"Well," answered Potion. "If I knew what I was taught, I would think it is clean spot on the floor and there is a chair over there. Could it mean that someone was watching Crystal so she couldn't escape." Me and Potion looked at Horn.

"What," questioned Horn. "I couldn't see who it was because it was dark and the light wasn't on."

"Alright," I said. "Let me see." I inspected the area and I knew who was sitting here. "Ok, Fluffy Hater was sitting in this chair watching our victim which is Crystal by the way. Let's look around to see if there any more clues." We did that and I noticed something very unsettling.

"What's that your looking at Detective," questioned Horn.

"Well," I answered. "This is where Crystal was tied up. However, there was someone else."

"Who," questioned Horn.

"That I don't know," I answered. "I assume they are a kittydog too. Now looking at this, there seems to be a dent on the wall where they were a few inches from where they were tied up.

"Some kind of halo," questioned Potion.

"Yes," I answered. "And most are yellow"

"wait did you say yellow," questioned Potion.

"yeah, why," I questioned back.

"We have to get out of here now," exclaimed Potion. Horn agreed and knew who the villain was too.

"Why," I questioned.

"Cause you do not want to run into him," answered Potion. We made it to the door with us standing on the steps. "His name is..."

Suddenly the door opened revealing the villain and he finished Potion's sentence as, "Standing right in front of you."
