Foreword: There's a fight brewing' and Vegeta wants the Z Fighters on his side. Time for a team up! Let's go!

Frieza watched the Ginyu Force's space pods streak across the sky and hit the ground, leaving craters in their wake. Frieza sat in his travel cart on top of his ship watching his elite squad race towards him to report in, each member touching down, posing and introducing themselves in an overly flamboyant manner that gave Frieza 2nd hand embarrassment.

Ginyu: "We have arrived Lord Frieza and brought fresh upgraded scouters with us. Jeice!"

Jeice: "Right! 'ere you go Lord Frieza!"

The sub captain of the Ginyu Force hand Frieza a case full of new scouters then steps back into the group.

Frieza: "Good. It appears that Vegeta has gone native and even enlisted help from the locals to ensure I don't get the Dragon Balls and my wish. Find and kill Vegeta but bring his Namekian friend to me, that slug worked with the monkey prince and must know where my wish granting orbs are!"

Burter: "Someone willing to work with Vegeta? Didn't think anyone could have that much patience"

Recoome: "Maybe he's threatening them?"

Guldo: "About the only way anyone could work with the spikey-haired punk"

Ginyu: "Very well Lord Frieza! Vegeta will die and his Namekian lackey will be brought to you, post haste!"

Frieza: "Good, Zarbon was last recorded following Vegeta that way [Frieza points in the relevant direction]. I imagine that's enough to find and deal with the problem?"

Ginyu: [Nods his head] "More than enough my lord! Men! Let's Go!

With his men giving an affirming yell, the Ginyu Force launches into action, zooming across the sky and leaving Frieza alone. Frieza takes a few deep breathes before he returns back inside his ship, he still has wine and sweets to soothe his wrath.

Bansuri: "...So you thought the best thing to do was to make your problems our problems. You sure know how to make friends and influence people"

Vegeta glared at Bansuri for the smart remark, the Namekian only allowing the prince to speak his case and explain himself solely to poke holes in the logic and insult him.

Vegeta: 'My patience is being tested by this slug...I wish this Namekian and Kakarot weren't so much stronger than me...'

Vegeta hated how much stronger Goku and Bansuri were than him, somehow they had ascended to levels that made Vegeta suspect Kakarot had become the legendary Super Saiyan, but what made Vegeta's blood run cold was how much stronger than him Bansuri is.

Vegeta: 'That Namekian could leave permanent scars on me while being half my strength, now he's over 10 times stronger than me!? I need him on my side...'

Bansuri rolled his eyes at the Saiyan prince then walked outside the base beckoning Gohan to come with and motioning for Krillin to stay and guard Bulma. Goku saw that this as an opportunity to fight and gladly walked out as well with Vegeta following suit, they could all sense the Ginyu Force approaching and figured that taking the fight away from their base was the best option.

The fighters flew to a landmass a safe distance from the cave base then flared their energy, knowing that like Nappa and Vegeta on Earth, the Ginyu Force will go to the energy spike. This idea was proven correct yet again by the group swerving toward the Z Fighters (and Vegeta) and touching down.

Ginyu: "Well, well Vegeta. Frieza told us you made a Namekian friend, not that you made more friends then that."

Bansuri: "He doesn't have any friends and if you continue to serve the tyrant, no one will mourn you either"

The Ginyu Force chuckled at this claim and Burter even checked the group's power levels with his scouters, finding all their levels around 5000. The group laughed harder at the statement of doom after reading those numbers on the scouter. Bansuri instead of listening to the elites introducing themselves and posing, spent his attention speaking to the youngest of the group.

Bansuri: "Alright Gohan, this will be your first real battle after all of your training. You will be facing the smallest of their group, the one with 4 eyes and from what I can sense you have the advantage in raw power but remember; power isn't the only factor in a fight. Keep your focus and don't get complacent, you don't know what techniques your opponent has. Understood?"

Gohan: [takes a couple of breathes to steady himself then nods] "I understand"

Guldo: "You think a brat can beat me?! How dare you! I will stomp this brat into the ground!"

Goku: "Oh! oh! Can I fight the purple one!? He seems like the strongest!"

Ginyu: "What!? You think some backwater hick can compare with the great Captain Ginyu?! I'll teach you where your place is trash!"

Recoome: "Hey Vegeta! I think it's about time you got a whoopin' and I'm gonna give it to ya!"

Vegeta: "You'll die trying"

Burter: "Wait, that just leaves the Namekian..."

Jeice: "Wanna play 'Rock-Paper-Scissors' for it?"

Bansuri: "There's no need to concern yourselves. I will deal with the both of you"

Jeice/Burter: "What the?/Arrogant little-!"

Bansuri speeds forward and punts Jeice away, starting a brawl with Burter and signaling the beginning of the fight, Gohan using a Mastered Kaioken to blitz Guldo and send him reeling before the four-eyed alien can activate his Time Stop, Goku speeding forward to exchange blows with the captain and Vegeta and Recoome speed at each other, their clash meeting in the middle.

After Guldo stopped skipping across the ground he took a moment to get his breath back before holding it and using Time Stop, setting up blasts around the youth before letting time move, the blasts racing at the boy only for them to nimbly dodge them all and charge toward Guldo, the alien stopping time again to get a chance to think.

Guldo: 'Jeez! What is with this brat?! No kid his age should be this tough!'

Guldo decides to try telekinesis to crush the brat, positioning himself out of direct eyeline before letting time flow and telekinetically grabbing the ankle-biter...Only for the kid to take a moment to brute force their way through it and launch at him quicker than he could react and boot him in the head, knocking him out cold.

Gohan stays ready for a few moments after the kick and senses that his foe was indeed beaten takes a moment to breathe.

Bansuri: "Good work Gohan, very effective take down"

Burter: "Are you seriously talking to a brat while we're fighting you?!"

Bansuri punches Burter in the face and dodges a Crusher Ball fired at him from behind, leading the attack to hit Burter center mass and giving Bansuri an opportunity to grab the scruff of the battle suit and throw the blue alien at the red one, slamming the 2 together.

Bansuri: "Yes, it's important for a child's growth for their achievements to be celebrated. I imagine your parents never cared for you considering you work for a genocidal maniac"

Burter and Jeice stared at Bansuri looking aghast at the scathing comment before they became angry.

Burter: "That does it!"

Jeice: "You're dead!"

Bansuri vs Burter and Jeice

Burter speeds towards Bansuri and unleashes the quickest and most vicious combo he can with the intent of distracting Bansuri or leading him into an attack from Jeice, the red alien swooping in with heavy strikes only to hit air or his teammate, the shock making Jeice pause long enough for Bansuri to dole out a brutal counter, an uppercut to the jaw hard enough to break it followed by a spin-kick to Burter's temple, throwing the speedster off-balance and leaving him unprotected against a gut punch hard enough to shatter the front and back of the battle suit's armor, leaving Burter unconscious on the ground.

Jeice: "Burder! Noo!"

Jeice could barely speak his dismay and wouldn't be given a chance to run when Bansuri vanishes and reappears behind Jeice with a simple chop to the neck sending the Red Magma of the Ginyu Force to dream land.

Bansuri looked at his felled opponents and after a moment of thinking, decides to fire a compressed ki blast at each of their heads, quickly and painlessly putting down his foes.

Ginyu: "No! My men!"

Goku: "Why did you kill them, they could have walked away?!"

Bansuri: "Goku, they live under a genocidal tyrant's rule and are happy enough to dance as they commit atrocities. They had their chance at the start and they threw it away."

Goku wanted to argue but not only was Bansuri right, Ginyu had set on him with attacks once more, the words dying in the heat of battle.

Bansuri turned to see how Vegeta was holding up and...

Vegeta vs Recoome

...It was not going well, Vegeta was hammering powerful strikes into the brute and found that Recoome could simply face-tank attacks and launch stronger hits back with ease. Vegeta even punched the brute in the face hard enough for teeth to be spat out only to immediately be punished with a kick that sends him flying back. Vegeta tries blasting Recoome with everything he has? It lands and destroys a majority of the battle suit but Recoome is still standing and posing.

Bansuri watches this all play out and knows that he could step in at any time and end the fight, but seeing Vegeta get Flying Liger Bombed then pulled out of the ground was admittedly pretty funny. But all good things eventually come to an end and as Recoome starts posing and charging up an energy blast, Bansuri realizes that he probably should help Vegeta...

Bansuri: "...another thing I'll be holding over your head for the rest of your life"

Bansuri muttered to himself before doing some stretches to limber up, then blitzing forward and gut punching Recoome hard enough to know him out and make the energy charged dissipate harmlessly. Bansuri turns to look at Vegeta's battered and messed up form, noticing that if Vegeta was going to be useful against Frieza he needed to be in good condition.

Bansuri: "...[sigh], would you like me to heal you...?"

Vegeta: "Yes...please"

Bansuri cursed his own good nature as he approached Vegeta and when he got close enough (begrudgingly) healed his father's killer.

Bansuri: "So you owe me for sparing you, helping you against an enemy and now healing you. Shame you don't have anything I want huh?"

Vegeta: [now healed] "...Thanks"

Vegeta tested his movements and found that not only was he completely healed, he received a Zenkai boost from the beating he just took, his power feeling 10 times stronger! True, it still felt lower than Bansuri's but at least it's within a league of it!

Bansuri and Vegeta turned to see how Goku was faring against Ginyu and found that Goku was indeed doing well, the Kaioken allowing Goku to utterly outmaneuver and overpower the Captain...who was smiling as he received devastating strikes. Bansuri and Vegeta narrowed their eyes at this and were both startled when Ginyu stabs himself in the chest.

Ginyu: "Change Now!"

A burst of light zips from Ginyu to Goku, the Saiyan simply too shocked from the self harm to think of moving. When the light faded, Ginyu suddenly looked confused and Goku started looking smug.

Bansuri: "...Oh you have got to be kidding me, the captain can trade bodies..."

Vegeta: "...So I can beat the tar out of Kakarot freely?"

Bansuri: "Don't push your luck. You need to beat Goku's body until Ginyu wants to leave it. I'll be ready with his old body so yours doesn't get taken"

Vegeta spotting Bansuri's plan nods and charges at Goku's body with a smile, easily blocking and parrying strikes while doling out painful counter attacks, one of said counters making Goku in Ginyu's body wince and very thankful he has a friend with healing ability.

Ginyu (Goku's body): "What the? How are you stronger! This body showed way more power than you did!"

Vegeta: "Ha! A Saiyan grows far more powerful after coming back from being beaten. Besides, you don't know how that body works, do you?"

Ginyu hated to admit it, but this body was more powerful when it's original owner was in it but Ginyu didn't know why. After an attack sent Ginyu in Goku's body down into the ground, the captain decided to take Vegeta's body...which was exactly what Bansuri was waiting for.

Ginyu (Goku's body): "Change Now!"

Bansuri immediately made a portal and threw Ginyu's body infront of the Body Change, putting Ginyu and Goku back into their own bodies. Bansuri also used a portal to snatch Goku out from under Ginyu, confusing the captain before a cold dread shot up his spine. Ginyu turned around and saw a sadistically smiling Vegeta with energy in their hand.

Ginyu: "...mercy?"

Vegeta: "No."

Vegeta promptly blasts the top half of Ginyu clean off then fires a killing blast at Guldo, making Gohan jump and Goku frown as Bansuri gently eased Goku to the ground so he can be healed, but not speaking up. Bansuri had a valid point. Goku was promptly healed and Vegeta was yet again in awe of Goku's power.

Vegeta: 'He could definitely take down Frieza...Enjoy your last moments freak, the Super Saiyan will end you soon...'

Vegeta was shocked that despite the power they hold, Bansuri and Goku simply wish to use the Dragon Balls to revive their friends and are prioritizing them instead of Frieza's death!? Bansuri getting Krillin and Bulma to move bases and prepare to make an exit, the group flying (or being carried in Bulma's case) to another non-descript cave in a rockface to call a base, Bansuri retrieving the Dragon Balls from a small bag to Vegeta's confusion and standing above them.

Bansuri: "Eternal Dragon! Rise and grant my wish!"

There was a stillness in the air before everyone realized that nothing had happened. Bansuri closed his eyes and rested his palm on his forehead.

Bansuri: "...Guru didn't tell me how to use this set of Dragon Balls..."

Everyone groaned in disappointment at this discovery, some facepalming like Bansuri and others glaring at the ground in disappointment.

Bansuri: "We can work around this, I just need to go to Guru, get the knowledge telepathically given to me and come back here. I shouldn't take too long."

Bansuri flew away, leaving the Z Fighters, Bulma and Vegeta staring at the Dragon Balls.

Bulma: "Let's set up base and hide these inside, sound good?"

Everyone muttered in agreement, not having any better ideas or anything better to do.

Frieza snarled as the Ginyu Force had their communication cut off, leaving only the Emperor and his low level lackies to try and subjugate the planet. Frieza hoped into his flying vehicle and flew in the direction of the Ginyu Force's last transmission.

Frieza: "Guess I'll have to dirty my hands and deal with the problem myself!"

Frieza flew his personal car at top speed through rock formations and the air, none of the obstacles stopping the tyrant or diverting him from his path. Will Bansuri be able to get to Guru? Or will Frieza cut the Z Fighter's hopes down? Find out next time on Some Help.
