LAST TIME ON DRAGON BALL Z: THE GODAI SYSTEM
After a meeting with his mother, Jaco was sent to earth to recruit the Z fighters in their attempt to stop the war in the Godai System. The Z fighters all agreed to come along and so they set off towards their next adventure. On the way they learnt about the Solar System, 4 planets, each missing one of the essential elements. There is also a race called the Yasamlas, a race with no ki but advanced technology. How will they stop this war, who will go where and why did the Yasamlas come to the Gobai System, FIND OUT NOW
AGE 775, AUGUST 2ND, SUPER ELITE STAR FLEET
The Z fighters are fast approaching the Gobai system "now we've got to go meet up with my mother before we begin". The group then sees another galactic patrol ship, one much bigger than the one they're currently on. They rapidly approach the vessel as they see the galactic patrol symbol emblazoned on the side. Jaco flies around to the other side before landing inside of the ship via an opening on the spacecraft "we have arrived at our destination, thank you for flying with the super elite star fleet" says Jaco with a chuckle.
One by one everyone except Buu, who is in one of his naps, gets off the ship as they marvel at their surroundings as they've never seen something like this. Jaco acts as a sort of tour guide as they walk through the ship, Gohan has already taken out his notebook, filling it with sketches and paragraphs of what he sees. "If I can tell people what alien spaceships look like, I'll be boosted ahead as a scholar", Goku is just as interested but not for the same reasons "I wonder if those prisoners are any strong".
Goten, while getting a piggyback ride from his dad, has turned his neck into something akin to an owl's as he cranes it around the place to look at the ship. Vegeta is also looking around, being reminded of his days aboard the ships of Frieza as a mere underling. Tien, Yamcha and Chaitzou are also interested as this is their first time in space, "don't worry guys, I'm quite the expert on this space stuff" says Krillin…despite the fact that this is his second time in space.
Goku then bumps into Jaco who has suddenly stopped outside of a door "well this is it, try to make a good impression on my mother". Jaco then knocks on the door with the back of his hand as they hear the words "come in" muffled by the door. Jaco walks in first as the Z fighters file in behind him, they then see Jaici sitting at her desk, seemingly examining them.
Gohan does a small bow before saying "you must be Jaici, we're the fighters from earth that you requested". Jaici smirks "I like this one but yes that is me, I believe you all already know why I have requested you here?". A wave of nods goes off as Jaici then continues "well that's good" before muttering "at least Jaco could debrief them right".
Jaco squints at his mother, trying to figure out what she said as all he heard was his name but quickly looks away after a glare from Jaici. Jaici then rises from her chair and begins to pace the room "this is not entirely a mission where you just have to go "beat the bad guy". This is a mission of peace, we want the planets of the Gobai System at peace with each other, capiche?".
Everyone understands the objective here, to reunite the planets of the Gobai System "but…but what about the big spaceship?". This came from Goten, his hand in the air as if asking a question at school, Jaici snickers at the young boy's enthusiasm and then says "I said the planets in the system, we need that spaceship gone".
Vegeta then steps up and does his signature thumb pose "I believe that job should be left to me" to which Goku jumps in and says "me too". Jaici then says "that should be fine but then we have to split the rest up into 4 groups so let's see".
The group stands in a line as Jaici looks them down "the 2 boys seem to be strong but can't be trusted by themselves so let's send the namekian with them". Goten and Trunks high five as they walk off, Piccolo shrugs and stands behind the two boys, knowing Jaici has a point with them not being trustable. Jaici thinks for a moment "you will all go to Sarkinia, the one without fire" to which the kids and Piccolo nod.
Jaici then says "well it's obvious you two are lovey dovey so we'll put you together" Jaici gestures to 18 and Krillin. 18 looks down to her husband and says "I might be made of metal but you're the rusty one, don't die" Krillin chuckles and says "I'll be fine 18". Jaici then says "you're gonna head to Basmalin which has no water".
Jaici observes Chaiotzu floating beside Tien's head "seems like a match if I've ever seen one". Chaiotzu does a little cheer as he floats off to the side with Tien "and you'll be going to Toprakan, big ball of water, all its ground is stolen".
Gohan then looks over to Yamcha "guess we've been partnered up together going tooo" he turns to Jaici "Ruzgarat I believe, with no air?". Jaici then says "that's right, you're definitely a smart one" Gohan chuckles and scratches the back of his head. Yamcha then walks up to Gohan "hope I won't be holding you back" as he laughs to himself while being deeply insecure about being placed with one of if not the strongest person on earth.
Jaici then claps once "well that's that, now, most of you will need specialised gear to withstand the conditions of these planets so come with me". Jaici beckons everyone out as they go out of the room single file, as they walk, Jaici notices Gohan's curiosity and falls back slightly, allowing Jaco to lead again. A hushed conversation occurs where Jaici explains more of the inner workings of the patrol, seemingly taking an interest in the scholarly half saiyan.
They walk through the halls as Jaco explains where in the spaceship they are headed to. "Since the planets don't have some of the elements, going onto the planet as you are would at best severely impact you and at worst kill you. Luckily the galactic patrol has suits specially designed for these planets in our armour".
This is when they reach a massive door to which Jaco enters the code 01001000 01010001. He does this with his face immensely close to the keypad as if anyone cares about the code to the armoury. A sound of decompression can be heard as the door slowly opens up to reveal the hustle and bustle of the armoury. Jaco leads them all inside and says "except for you two" he gestures to Goku and Vegeta "your specialised suits should be around here and hopefully the right size".
Goten and Trunks had already rushed off before Jaco was done speaking and right after Jaco was done, Piccolo followed behind. 18 and Krillin immediately spot their suits "he was probably talking about you when he said hopefully the right size" says 18 as Krillin chuckles "heyyy it's genetic". Tien and Chaiotzu float off "hey Tien, what'll our suits be" to which the triclops replies "probably nothing special we're going to a big ball of water". Gohan and Yamcha leave last as they were already in a conversation "did you ever notice that we've the same hairdo?" says Yamcha, Gohan looks over at Yamcha and says "oh yeah…never noticed".
A couple minutes pass as everyone walks out, the kids and Piccolo are all in what is pretty much a woolly coat "they were made with the hide of an animal on Sarkinia" explains Jaici.
Tien and Chaiotzu are wearing a filter type contraption on their heads "it can filter the water so you can only get the oxygen" says Jaco.
18 and Krillin have a galactic patrol uniform that seems a lot thicker than a normal one as well as a massive water jug "in between the fabric of the suit is some of the coldest ice in the galaxy" Jaco calls out.
Yamcha and Gohan are sporting something similar to human space gear "your oxygen tank will last you days and it's made of some of the strongest metal we could find but make sure it doesn't get destroyed".
The Z fighters all regroup and look at each other's suits, Goten and Trunks are panting at the heat of their suit and while Piccolo isn't showing his discomfort, his species relying entirely on water combined with an immensely hot suit doesn't mix. Goku chuckles as he looks down at Krillin in his chunky suit "I know you stopped fighting but you've even put on some weight Krillin".
Jaici looks around at the group "finally, everyone's ready now we just need to head back to the hangar and send you on your way". The group begins to get excited as they retrace their steps back to the hangar and so they quickly arrive. They see the super elite star fleet sitting where it was but also 5 new ships, each labelled with a planet.
"These will be the ships you use for your mission, they are all labelled with the planet they are programmed to go to as they do use auto pilot". The Z fighters exchange glances, who knows how long this mission could take, you don't bring a solar system to peace overnight do you? They all slowly begin to board their ships and as they look at Jaco and Jaici they salute the Z fighters "the Galactic Patrol will be assisting from space, godspeed fellows". The hatch to their ship shuts tight.
