Silver slowly woke up without opening their eyes, they turned on the mattress and pulled the covers more over them. It was so comfortable and warm, they didn't want to wake up yet. Silver snuggled some more with Bunny Bun. They breathed in and took in Shadow's scent. Silver opened their eyes and rubbed them confused as they sat up. Silver looked around, they were in a small bedroom, it was dark inside but you could already see it was light outside as daylight shone through a gap between the curtains. There was a small desk with a laptop on it, a guitar in the corner, band posters were hanging on the wall and there was a tiny kitchen in the room. Next to the wardrobe there was a door which probably led to the bathroom. In front of the desk was an desk chair turned to Silver with a blanket laying on it as if someone had slept there.

"Shadow?" Silver said while looking around half awake. But nobody answered. Silver wanted to get up, but it was all nice and cozy under the covers. Silver just laid back and waited. After a while Silver heard some noises from the front door and a key turned the lock. Silver saw how Shadow entered the room a little clumsily as he was carrying some bags. He silently shut the door with his foot, trying not to wake Silver.

Shadow turned around and Silver quickly closed their eyes, pretending to be asleep. Shadow came over, Silver felt the mattress move as Shadow sat down next to them. He slightly stroked their cheek, "How beautiful you are," he softly whispered, Silver started too blush and slowly opened their eyes while looking at Shadow. "Good morning," Shadow whispered.

"Hey," Silver said.

"Did you sleep well?" Shadow asked, Silver nodded and snuggled into the covers. Shadow leaned in close and kissed their forehead.

"Why am I here?" Silver asked softly.

"Yesterday when I brought you home, you fell asleep on the motorcycle," Shadow explained. "I didn't want to wake you, so I brought you to my dorm."

"Thank you," Silver said with a soft smile. "Your bed is really warm and cozy," they snuggled some more into the covers. Shadow smiled as they looked so innocent. "Do you want to lay with me for just a little?" Silver asked while lifting the covers slightly. Shadow got under the covers and laid down next to them. Silver snuggled up against him with their head resting on his chest, slowly moving up and down while Shadow breathed. They could hear Shadow's heartbeat which was slow and steady.

Silver looked up at him and Shadow down at them. They both smiled softly at each other. Silver slowly moved up and pressed a kiss against Shadow's lips. They breathed heavily, Silver licked Shadow's lips, he was surprised for Silver to take the lead. He opened his mouth slightly and slid his tongue out to meet Silver's. Silver felt a weird but nice feeling going down their body. They started to blush brightly and pulled away from the kiss. They felt a weird tingling between their legs.

Shadow stroked their quills softly and saw Silver's uncomfortable expression. Shadow looked a bit questionable, when Silver quickly sat up straight and pulled the covers more close over there crotch. Shadow grinned as he started to understand the situation.

"Maybe you should take a shower," Shadow suggested to help them out of this, apparently for Silver, uncomfortable situation.

"Yeah yeah, maybe you're right," Silver pulled down their dress awkwardly and quickly went for the door still pulling their dress. They went through the door and quickly turned the lock. Silver looked down, 'Just calm down, think of something else and it will just go away eventually,' they thought. Silver looked around the bathroom. 'Taking a shower could indeed be a good idea.' they slipped out of their clothes and went towards the shower. They turned on the water and got under. Silver sighed deeply when the warm water ran down their body, they couldn't even remember the last time they had a warm bath or shower.

Meanwhile in the bedroom Shadow was preparing some breakfast he had just bought. He heard Silver hum under the shower, he smiled when he recognised the melody of the song they played together yesterday. Shadow boiled some eggs, warmed up some buns and prepared some coffee and tea.

Silver turned off the shower and looked for a towel to dry theirself off. They opened the drawer which was underneath the sink. Silver's cheeks turned a shade of pink as they saw a box of condoms inside. They quickly took out a towel, closed the drawer and started to dry theirself off. Silver wanted to put on the dress again but noticed it was soaked as they had been dripping water onto it.

"Shadow?" Silver said through the door.

"Yeah?" he replied.

"Do you maybe have some clothes for me? My dress is all soaked."

"Yeah just a moment," Shadow said as he looked through his wardrobe, and pulled out some ripped jeans and a black shirt. "Can you open the door?"

Silver very slightly opened the door and held out a hand to grab the clothes, "Thank you," they quickly said before closing the door again. A minute later Silver opened the door and came out of the bathroom.

Shadow looked over, "Did you have a nice shower?"

Silver nodded, "What smells so good?" they asked while sniffing the air.

"I've prepared some breakfast for us," Shadow said and took the buns out of the small oven.

"That's so sweet!" they looked over at the small table near the bed which was completely set. Silver went over and sat on the floor.

"Take as much as you want," Shadow said and came over with the buns. Shadow sat down on the ground next to Silver.

Silver leaned against Shadow and took a bun, "You really are spoiling me."

"I like spoiling you," Shadow said and poured some tea for Silver and coffee for himself.

"I really don't understand why people drink that stuff," Silver said looking at the coffee.

"It helps me to wake up."

"I have sunlight for that," Silver said with a mouth full and took a sip of their tea. Shadow rolled his eyes and took a sip of his coffee. "Really liked waking up here," Silver said with a slight blush, "Why didn't you sleep in the bed with me?" They asked.

"I didn't know if you'd be cool with it, so I slept on the desk chair just to be sure."

"Next time you can sleep with me," Silver said with a soft smile.

"I would like that," Shadow pulled Silver closer and he hugged them.

"Thank you so much for taking care of me," Silver said, Shadow kissed their forehead.

"We have to go soon," Shadow said after a while.

"I almost forgot we have school today," Silver said a little upset as they really didn't want to leave.

"Well at least today we have all our classes together,' Shadow reminded Silver to lift their spirit.

They prepared to leave, Shadow took the leftovers from breakfast and packed them so they both had a nice lunch today. They went into the hallway and Silver looked around as Shadow was locking his dorm.

"Hey Silver, what are you doing here?" a confused voice said from behind them. Sonic was approaching and glanced from Silver to Shadow with suspicion.

"Hey Sonic! Shadow let me stay for the night," they replied.

"Is that so, Shadow can I have a word with you?"

Shadow nodded, "Silver could you wait outside for me?" he asked. Silver nodded a bit confused and suspicious. Silver walked through the hallway and around the corner where they stopped to listen.

"Shadow, don't you think Silver is too young for that?" Sonic said getting straight to the point.

"Nothing happened," Shadow quickly answered. Sonic gave him a look, "Really!" Shadow added.

"Are you sure?" Sonic asked.

"Completely, Silver said they weren't ready, so I respect that. We didn't even sleep in the same bed."

"That doesn't sound like you," Sonic said a bit puzzled.

"Well Silver is different, okay."

"Wow look at you, getting all soft," Sonic said with a smile.

Shadow pushed Sonic aside, "Oh, shut up, faker," he said grumpy and went through he hall.

"I think that's a good thing," Sonic yelled after him.

Silver quickly went outside as they didn't want to give the impression that they was eavesdropping.

It was a bit cold out and Silver was waiting near the entrance.

"Well, well, look who stayed the night," Silver froze as they recognised Scourge's voice. They quickly turned around to see him standing there with Jet and Vector at his side. "Did he give it to you good?" he said with an angry grin and walked over to Silver. "You should know, that I could give it to you much better. I could make you scream with pleasure," he whispered. Silver turned pale.

"W-we didn't d-do anything."

Scourge laughed. "Yeah right, as if Shadow could resist such a nice treat as yourself," he whispered and moved closer so Silver was pressed against the wall and couldn't get away. "Just don't think you two have something special, he will toss you aside as soon he's done with you."

"He wouldn't," Silver said determined.

"Get away from them," Shadow approached and Scourge backed away, with a grin. Shadow took Silver tightly by the arm to get them away from Scourge.

"Did you have some good pounding?" Scourge asked over at Silver. Shadow stood still.

"Ow! you're hurting me," Silver said as Shadow squeezed their arm tightly in anger, Shadow quickly loosened his grip. "Just let it go," Silver said trying to calm him down. "Come on," Silver said and led him away from Scourge.

"What did Scourge say to you?" Shadow asked when they were out of sight.

"W-well, h-he said you would toss me aside as soon you were done with me," Silver said carefully, "But you wouldn't do that to anyone, would you?"

Shadow sighed deeply, "Silver, I've done some things in the past that I'm not proud of, but you have changed me. I wouldn't do anything like that to you."

"What have you done?" Silver asked concerned.

"I don't want to talk about it," Shadow snapped, "Just believe me, when I say I wouldn't do that to you."

"I believe you," Silver said but something started to gnaw at them. 'What was it, that Shadow had done?'. Shadow walked towards his motorcycle, "Can't we maybe just walk to school?" Silver asked.

"But this is faster," Shadow suggested.

"It doesn't always have to be fast, I like to take it a bit slow in the morning, don't you?" Shadow shrugged his shoulders. He took out a cigarette and lit it. Silver reached out their hand which Shadow took and together they walked to school.

Together with Tails they entered the class and wanted to take their seats. "Boss, we need to talk," Espio stood next to Shadow who was about to take the seat next to Silver.

"About what?" he asked.

Espio came closer, "It's about Scourge," he whispered.

Shadow stood up, "I'm going to sit at the back for now," he said to Silver, who nodded. Espio and Shadow went to their usual seats and Espio was talking silently but quickly. Silver looked back a bit confused as they saw them quickly whispering. Shadow looked worried.
