"Bijuu speaking"
Naruto just arrived at his apartment after the academy concluded. He is really hungry after everything they did at the academy, so he decided to cook food, but he realized that... there is nothing to eat in his fridge.
The only thing he had at the moment is an egg and a couple of tomatoes that are about to go bad. He didn't have any more rice so he can't just cook the egg, and eat it as it is.
He can't go to the grocery store either to buy food because they would either kick him out or sell things to him with a ridiculously high price, and he only has so much money, so he can't really make do with that. He could buy ramen from ichiraku but, he can't just always eat ramen, especially now that he knows how to cook more nutritious foods.
"Ugh" he groaned, for some reason the word nutritious still appalled him, but he moved on.
He also doesn't want to fish because it would take too long and he is already so hungry. Looking at his fridge for a second time to check if something to eat miraculously appeared, a thought popped up on his mind.
Pizza
Navi's favorite food. If he can buy flour and cheese even with ridiculous prices, he can eat something delicious for a few meals without spending so much.
Quickly putting on his shirt that he took off earlier, he went out to buy the remaining ingredients for the spectacular meal that he's going to cook.
" Hey, that boy.." someone said in a hushed voice, he only heard the first part but he's pretty sure they're talking about him being the kyuubi incarnate and why the hokage even let him live.
" Yeah I know right!, let's just get away from here" a male voice said.
Naruto just ignored them but there is a visible twitch in his left eye. He's clearly annoyed.
' yeah yeah, go away, be thankful I'm not in the mood to prank'
Walking through the streets with people sneering and whispering unpleasant things about you behind your back is certainly not the best.
But he opted to just whistle tunes of songs from Navi's memories and ignored them the best he could.
Going in to the third store, he hoped that the clerk wouldn't immediately throw him out the moment he entered.
He entered the store and the clerk just looked at him for a second before going back to what she was doing. Shrugging, Naruto grabbed a basket before walking through the aisles trying to find the ingredients he needed. He found the flour and grabbed two bags of it. he also picked up a small plastic pouch of tomato sauce.
'Now, where's the cheese?' he thought.
He continued walking when he passed the produce section and saw red bell peppers. " Oh, I almost forgot about this" he grabbed three of them, before putting them in the basket. The bell peppers would be added to the pizza that he's going to make as toppings.
Finally, he found the last and most important ingredient for his pizza which is the cheese, he walked back to the counter to pay.
He put the products on the counter and the clerk started putting it in a paper bag while listing the prices.
" Two bags of flour is 20 ryo, the bell peppers are 1 ryo per piece but you can have 5 for just 4 ryo And the cheese is 15 ryo."
" ohhh, wait let me grab 2 more peppers" Naruto said before he went to grab it. When he got back the clerk had already finished putting the items in a paper bag. Naruto handed her the 2 peppers before he asked for yeast, another ingredient that he almost forgot.
"We do have yeast, it's 4 ryo per pack" the clerk said.
"Yeah let me get one of those too, how much is it?"
"It's 43 ryo in total"
After Naruto paid for the products, he started going home, holding in front of him the things he bought. 'The clerk in that store didn't overcharge me, come to think of it she didn't even sneer or send me unpleasant looks. Nice'
what he didn't realize though was that the clerk was one of the ANBU the hokage tasked to guard him, in case someone tried to do anything stupid to him.
After arriving at his apartment, Naruto immediately started making the dough for his pizza.
'All those cooking videos Navi watched at 3 am are finally getting its uses hahahaha' he thought, laughing in his mind. He's not really sure how he laughed in his mind so he just ignored it and continued working on the dough.
" I just have to put this into a container and wait for it to rise and I'm done" he mused, before he froze, saying the last part of his earlier sentence in his mind' wait for it to rise,.. rise' ... He had to wait for the dough to rise before he could start cooking it...
"Ahhhhh!. You know what!, I'm just gonna find an empty training ground to train!, while this fucking dough rise!" annoyed and disappointed, he stumped his way out of his apartment to go into an empty training ground, before he stopped as realized that he... Didn't know where they were.
'Ahhhhhhh!!!!!' He screamed mentally while furiously scratching the back of his head.
"Fuck this shit I'm gonna meditate!"he uttered followed by his thoughts 'I don't care if I meet foxy I just want to try and settle this memory shit!' Those were his thoughts before going to his bedroom.
After entering his bedroom, he closed all the blinds and windows to make sure that no one see what he's doing.
He sits on his bed in a meditative position before closing his eyes and focusing his mind.
...
Meanwhile a white haired guy wearing a mask ,that has markings reminiscent of a dog, stared at the blond with confusion.
He had been tasked to guard the blond for the week and he didn't really see anything weird until today.
His substitute for the job reported that the blond woke up in the middle of the night last night and concluded that blond just had a nightmare.
But earlier today, the blond's behavior seems strange. He got easily distracted, his expression seemed bored or more like sleepy and he got lost on his way to the academy, which is strange because he's been attending it for a year now.
After Naruto got home from school the white haired ANBU watched the blond prepare to make food before seeing that he doesn't have anything in his fridge.
The ANBU followed in the shadows as the blond goes on his way to the market, he expected the blond to smile through the sneers and whisperings of the villagers like how he usually do, but this Time Naruto just ignored them, not even bothering to put a smile on his face to make himself seem unaffected. Instead the ANBU saw the left eye of the blond twitching in annoyance.
The white haired ANBU saw the blond go to the store manned by an ANBU, the store was actually for the Shinobi and ANBU but the blond didn't know that.
The ANBU clerk still let the blond buy everything he needs for the normal price.
The white haired ANBU watched the blond buy things He's never seen the blond boy buy.
'flour and yeast? Perhaps he's making bread' the ANBU watching him concluded, remembering that he too, learned how to make bread from the academy at the same age as the blond.
He then watched the blond go home after buying all the things he needed and nothing really Worth noting happened.
Now back at the blond's apartment, the ANBU watched Naruto prepare the dough for his 'bread' before Naruto became annoyed after remembering that he had to let the dough rise.
What made him raise an eyebrow though was Naruto cursing.' that's new' he noted.
The last thing he heard Naruto say was, he was going to meditate before going to his room and closing all the windows and blinds. That was a few minutes ago...
He became alerted when he felt Naruto's chakra shifted differently and he felt an overwhelming dread as he thought that Naruto made contact with the kyuubi.
BACK TO NARUTO
It's been a few minutes since he started doing the meditation exercise they were taught at the academy. He already did everything that was instructed but nothing really interesting is happening.
A few more minutes later, he started to feel something warm and soothing near his stomach , and he noted ' this is chakra, huh' he tried doing what was instructed to them which was to try and mentally pull on it and draw it towards every part of their body.
He succeeded on that part too, quite easily in fact. He began to open his eyes, expecting to see his room again but instead he saw what he could only describe as the cleanest sewer he's ever seen. with metal tubes on the sides and an ankle deep water which he remembered as his chakra... or not, his memories are still in shambles so he doesn't really know correctly.
"Fuck, I just had to jinx myself! Fucking great!fuck!" now absolutely annoyed and just doesn't want to give a fuck at anything, he began walking along the sewers to try and find the grouchy fox that brought him here.
"Fuck it, what's the worst that could happen?"he whispered before he stopped, realizing what he just said" please don't tell me I just jinxed myself again"
He continued to walk until he arrived at a wide clearing of sorts in the sewer. In the said clearing was a wall made off of golden pillars with a gate that reached the very top of it.
The other side of said wall was all darkness but he knew better." Hey~ hey~ hey~, I know you're there ~" he greeted In a singsong tone.
A lone gigantic red eye with slit pupils opened, giving a faint red glow to the surrounding darkness.
" What do you want, boy?" A deep, powerful, seemingly ancient, voice sounded.
"Huh? I thought you pulled me here?" Naruto said, confused. "Anyways~ you can stop the darkness and spooky effect, I already know how you look, Foxy~" he added
The darkness vanished, revealing the form of a colossal fox beast with nine tails, swaying menacingly, behind it! The face of the fox seems to be contorted into a snarl, looking down at Naruto with its glaring red eyes. It tried to spook Naruto a little with its presence but Naruto just stood there with an annoying smile on his face.
"It seems you do, the question is how?" The fox asked, knowing from the previous glimpse of memories from the boy that nobody told him about it, so the fox had to know how the boy knew it.
Naruto,meanwhile felt stupid. it dawned on him that He accidentally pulled on the fox's chakra while he was meditating trying to pull on his own, and it in-turn pulled him Into the seal-space made by the fourth.
'eh, I might as well tell foxy the truth, it's not like someone would be able to read foxy's mind.' he noted ' on top of it, I might be able to strike a deal with foxy, if I tell him the truth'
"Wellllll~ this might sound weird and ridiculous but basically I know what would happen in the future... Or just a version of it. A different timeline if you may~," he explained, still in the same singsong tone that's beginning to annoy the fox.
"you see, just last night, I woke up from a sudden rush of memories that aren't my own but, from a guy from another world, timeline, universe or whatever, I don't really know at this point but, I woke up with his memories and it kinda messed up my brain and gave me an existential crisis, I don't even know right now if I'm Naruto or Navi~. I just go with it and act like normal~.
The fox stared at him for what felt like minutes but it really is just a few seconds.The fox tried to detect lies in his claims ,but oddly found none. So the fox asked again, a different question this time , to confirm once more if he was lying or not.
"Tell me, what did you see in these memories that you claim holds the future." The fox lowered his posture and laid its head on its paws, genuinely interested in what Naruto SAW in those memories.
"D'you want the long story or the short one~?" The blond asked, still in the singsong tone he used earlier, but it only made the fox more annoyed at him. " JUST TELL ME AND STOP USING THAT TONE! YOU'RE ANNOYING!" The fox shouted at Naruto. finally snapping at the annoying tone he was using.
"Sheesh, why are you so angry? You're like Navi's grandma or something, always shouting angrily at little things. Anyways I'm just gonna tell you the short story, so basically there's this alien clan of pale skinned bastards that gains power in bizarre ways. There's a pale skinned asshole that gains powers by eating his eyes and another that needs to eat his clanmates to power up." Naruto explained the short story to the fox.
The fox remembered its creator/father when Naruto described the pale skinned aliens and got even more curious. The fox is now fully convinced but it still didn't want the blond brat to know that so it asked again " and am I supposed to believe that? Tell me something that would convince me that all the things you just said were true and I would believe you."
Naruto thinks for a second before gaining a serious expression and saying"... I know the name of your creator or father and most importantly... I know your name and your 8 other siblings..."
