Naruto was bored… so so ridiculously and utterly bored. He was sprawled into the ground, unmoving, with his legs and arms outstretched. A book was covering his face from the sunlight that was hitting him directly from above.

If someone were to see him at this exact moment, they'd think that he's either passed out or dead. But they couldn't be more wrong as Naruto is completely awake, he is just so bored that he doesn't want to move even an inch.

The sound of his clones rigorously training could be heard in the background. Some are practicing the use of their chains, some are doing the surface sticking exercise to further their mastery over the technique so they could move on to the next level, and some are practicing fuinjutsu with the equipment that Naruto bought. It almost drained all his current money but it was a necessary purchase that would benefit him in the long run. Besides, he could just ask for more of the money his parents left him from the hokage so it's not really a problem.

Their training on the art has been fruitful as now, Naruto could make a storage seal that has enough space to contain five boxes of pizza or three large bowls of ramen without problem.

Tomorrow would mark the third week of him getting Navi's memories and knowledge. He couldn't be more thankful to the person that was Navi for the help that his memories gave him. He doesn't know where he'd be right now if he didn't get those memories, actually no, he knows where he'd be. He'd still be the same ignorant kid that's hungry for attention and oblivious to the reason why he's hated.

He shook his head. ' This is not the time to think about those things.'

He got up and moved to the shade under the trees, with the fuinjutsu instruction book in his hand. He already went through the whole book a couple of times but it doesn't hurt to check if he missed some of it. The book covers the basics of fuinjutsu, tips on how to improve the handwriting and near the end, instructions on how to make the simplest of seals.

He's certain that he only needs about two weeks to completely memorize and replicate all the seals that were included in the book. He already made the storage seal, the hardest seal that was written on the book. He has it on a cloth on his wrist underneath the long sleeves of his shirt. He uses it to store the things that's essential for his training including inks for the seals, some cheap kunai and shuriken that he bought and lastly …pizza… and a bowl of take out ramen that his clone bought, which he completely forgot.

' I'm getting kinda hungry. I haven't eaten yet and it's already noon.' he rolled up his sleeve and inserted a small amount of chakra into the seal on his wrist causing a container with pizza slices stacked on each other to appear. Designing a storage seal that could take specific amount of chakra to only release a certain amount of a certain object was quite difficult and it took him the majority of the week to completely figure out and replicate, the results were worth it in his opinion though, Since now he can store different things into his storage seal and only take out what he needed. The only thing that was required was a decent chakra control and its set.

He opened the lid of the container and took a slice. 'It's still hot' he noted. ' seals really are fascinating and amazing.'

He was about to take a bite into the slice, but he remembered the clones. They're hungry too and if they're hungry they wouldn't be able to make good progress.

He put the slice back into the container and covered it before placing it into the exposed root at the base of the tree where his scarf also rested.

He walked towards where his clones were training and called out to them. " You guys can stop what you're doing now, it's time for a break."

Multiple clones cheered and left what they were doing before dispelling. But one clone though, one clone has another thing in his mind. " Wait boss! Are you going to eat all the pizza by yourself?! That's not fair! We're hungry too y'know!" The angry clone exclaimed.

"Like-" he was about to add something but Naruto decided to stop him before he could influence his other clones too. ' oh hell no, I'm not doing this. I saw the episode where my own clones rebelled against me. '

Quickly, he picked up a stone and with great accuracy, he launched it towards the clone. Hitting it in the head and popping it immediately. *Poof*

" You guys can dispel yourselves now."

" But he's right boss, we want to eat too!" Another clone protested, and other clones followed too. " Yeah boss" " yeah, it's not fair that you're the only one who gets to eat! We worked hard too, y'know!" " Yeah! You didn't even do much! All you did was do some push-ups and practice

taijutsu for a bit and read the book, nothing else. After that you just laid on the ground pretending to be dead. It's not fair y'know!"

At this point he's getting pretty annoyed. Because of one clone, all of the others now want to eat the pizza, He didn't even cook a lot! For sage's sake!. He just sighed and began explaining to the clones.

" Look, you all can dispel and it would be like you ate too when I summon you after I ate. Get it? And it's not like I could feed all of you! I only made enough for myself y'know! And also feeding all of you would be useless since you guys wouldn't gain anything from it anyways!"

Some clones nodded at each other and agreed that what he said was valid and they dispelled with a *poof* But oddly, at least a dozen remained, fourteen to be exact, and they stared at Naruto with their bangs obstructing his view of their eyes.

'oh my - this really is happening! Why do I have such bad luck these days?!'

The clones drew their kunai and 2 chains appeared behind each of them, swaying in the air as if they were tails.

Naruto clicked his young and pulsed a moderate amount of chakra on each of the seals on both his wrist. *Klink* * klink* two clinks resounded as two kunai appeared on his palms, and he held both of them tightly preparing to fight the clones.

"It seems like we'd have to take it from you ourselves eh?" The clone at the front taunted.

One by one, the clones started to walk around him in circles. Until the only clone that's remained standing still was the one that was in front of the group.

" You can still back out from this, y'know. All you have to do is hand the pizza over. We don't need violence to settle this boss." The clone offered.

Naruto shook his head, and chuckled. " If you think that small threats such as that would make me back down then you're oh so utterly wrong. Stop being stupid, It's like you're not a copy of me."

With a wide sinister smirk, the clone taunted. " But you are stupid."

Naruto, with a smirk equally as wide as the clone replied. " I was. "

He dashed towards the still clone and chucked a kunai at it but just as he expected, the clone deflected it with one of the chains behind it.

He ducked when he felt something hurled towards him at great speeds and a fraction of a second later, a golden chain sailed above his head. He grabbed it and then pulled as hard as he could.

The clone that sent it was lifted from his position and thrown towards the ground at great speeds. But just as he was about to hit the ground he managed to send the second chain and embed it on the ground. The clone then willed the chain to curl around to cushion his fall. He's successful and just as he's about to taunt the original. A kunai penetrated his chest. Causing him to pop.

' one down ' Naruto noted dodging five consecutive lashes of the chains from three clones. He dashed to his side and he heard a whirling of shurikens from behind him. He tried to get out of the way but it was futile as two shuriken got embedded on the back of his shoulder and one graced it, leaving a slash wound before hitting the ground. He looked behind and saw three clones. He quickly dashed away to put some distance between him and the clones.

" You guys are actually serious?! " He asked, perplexed. He thought the clones were just playing around and we're not actually serious but he's dead wrong.

" Of course we are, you've been treating us like we're lower than you for the past two weeks. And frankly, we're getting kinda tired of it. So now, be ready to face us because. We. Are. Revolution." The clone declared, combing back his hair. The other clones also landed behind him adding a flare of dramatics to the effects.

' ohhh no, they picked up the delusional part of me and Navi. This is bad.' Naruto scrunched his face, resisting the urge to face palm and groan. ' I'm cringing just by watching them! '

He frantically looked around, trying to see if someone else was watching this unfold. He froze, realizing that there's ANBU watching him and they would most likely report this embarrassing moment to the hokage.

Now he doesn't really care what other people think about him but… this? If other people find out about this he'd find it hard to look them in the eye.

" Hey, stop! Stop! Stop! Stop! stopppp!!!!!!! Please stop acting like a chuunibyou?! Please stop it, there's ANBU watching us!" He tried to stop them but it was a futile attempt as the clones were dead set on beating him up if that means that they get to eat his food. Too bad he didn't want to forfeit the only pie of pizza that he cooked today.

" We are one, remember? I am you, so that means you're a chuunibyou deep inside you too. And trying to stop us now is futile, unless you're willing to part with the pizza and you agree on our terms and conditions we won't stop. Unless you defeat us, we will continue to rebel against your command."

" Tch" he clicked his tongue. ' you know what? Fuck this shit. I'm beating them to the ground.'

" If I pummel all of you to the ground, would you stop?" He asked.

"""Yes""" the clones answered simply in unison.

Sigh* Naruto sighed and readied his kunai, he held two of them, one on each hand. He crouched down and leaned forward, his arms semi outstretched. The cut that he got earlier also started healing as a thin smoke appeared on the wound.

He summoned four chains behind him and covered them with his chakra. Although his chakra control is still quite mediocre, he's able to do things like this with very minimal trouble. The only downside is that he's constantly burning an outrageous amount of chakra by doing so.

The clones too, readied themselves and spread out to surround Naruto. All of them seemingly unaware of the presence of a certain blue haired, lavender eyed heiress that was watching him.

Hinata*

Naruto has been acting differently for a while now and it was starting to concern her. At first it was just his sudden quietness then he became less energetic than how he usually was and lastly his recent strength.

Now don't get her wrong, she was happy about his sudden growth in strength but the change in his attitude definitely worries her the most.

So, she decided that she would get to the bottom of it. She would find out how and why he suddenly changed.

The morning of Sunday, Hinata woke up earlier than usual. The reason? She was going to follow Naruto, it was an easy task for her and she's certain that she'd be able to avoid his notice considering that she's been doing it for quite a while now.

She always wanted to approach him and talk to him but she lacked the courage to do so. She tried to talk to him once but all she ended up doing was embarrassing herself because the only thing that she managed to say was the 'he' part of 'hello' before passing out. She tried it a couple more times after that, but the results were the same as the first. So she decided to just watch him from afar until she could gain enough courage to be close to him.

One may ask why she was so obsessed with that specific boy. Well the answer was simple, she admires him, greatly. She admires the 'never giving up' attitude that he has, the way he always gets up even though he's constantly losing, the determined expression he has that tells that he's never going to give up until he did what he previously failed to do.

But that's not the only thing that's attracting her towards him. She still remembers that day he saved her from the bullies that attacked her because of their jealousy. He got beaten by them but he still managed to keep them from hurting her anymore.

She remembers it fully. It's as if the memory has engraved itself into her mind and is refusing to be forgotten. She didn't manage to thank him properly that day and she didn't meet him again until the start of the academy. But it seems that he has forgotten about her by then, at least that's what she thought.

That still didn't deter her from pursuing him though, if anything it fueled her desire to be noticed by him and befriend him even more.

Shake* she shook her head, it was not time to reminisce. After having her breakfast, she quickly left the clan compounds and went on her way to where she knew Naruto would be, his house. She knows that Naruto always leaves his house around seven o'clock in the morning but she has no idea on where he's going as she didn't manage to observe him that much in the past few weeks, so she decided to come early so she would be able to follow him wherever he's going.

After walking for a few minutes, she reached her destination, Naruto's apartment building.

Naruto lives on the second floor in the second room. Quickly activating the Byakugan that she just recently awakened.

She saw Naruto sitting on his couch and he seemed to be reading something based on how his hands are positioned.

But she found something strange. If Naruto was in the living room sitting on his couch, then who was the one in the kitchen washing the dishes?!

They have the same chakra signature so she knows that they're both real, the question was. How are there two naruto?!

She shook her head vigorously and deactivated her Byakugan. She took a few breaths to calm herself down because she thought she was just nervous and the two Naruto were just her imagination.

Activating them again, she found that nothing has changed and there's still two Naruto in the apartment.

The Naruto in the kitchen washing the dishes finished what he was doing and walked towards the one that was reading, he spoke a few words to the Naruto that was reading, and it gave a two finger salute before vanishing.

She was so confused now, she thought the one that was reading was the real Naruto but apparently not as it vanished in an instant, leaving no trace of chakra in its previous place.

"He must be the real Naruto-Kun then." Hinata whispered.

She watched as Naruto prepared and cleaned his apartment. There's even a point where Naruto started to change his clothes. Hinata quickly deactivated her Byakugan, blushing profusely.

And then, after a few more minutes Naruto stepped out of his apartment, prepared to leave. " I'll go now!"

She moved out of her current hiding place behind the post, quickly and got away from Naruto's position. Far enough that he wouldn't see her even if he tried but also close enough for her to observe him with her Byakugan.

Naruto was wearing a gray long sleeve shirt with an orange spiral pattern on its shoulder and bright yellow shorts matching his hair color, on his neck was a blue scarf with white stripes running on its length. He was reading a book as he walked, not caring about his surroundings and just ignoring the glares the people sent him. She always wondered why the people hated him, even her caretakers seemed to talk rudely about him in the hyuuga compound. Hinata wonders if it's because of his penchant for pranking or something else that he did. It couldn't be because of his pranking because if it's about that, the people in her clan wouldn't hate him too since he never even actually bothered any of them. She pushed the topic on the back of her mind for now and just focused on Naruto.

She just noticed it now but his hair's a little bit longer than before. Maybe he decided to finally grow it instead of the short crop that he always wears. She imagined that it would look good on him.

She continued following him and they arrived at the market. Like usual, there were a lot of people in the market and it was packed. She still managed to keep her sights on Naruto though, despite the crowd.

She noticed the amount of glares and sneers the people sent Naruto increased even more. Some of them are even talking bad about him loud enough for him to hear.

" Did you see him? It's that monster again" one lady selling meat said to the other vendor on her left.

"Yes, I still don't know why the hokage lets that… thing, live." The other vendor said.

" That's what I thought too! And I heard from my son that he's slowly climbing the ranks in his class too. He said that the thing started defeating the clan heirs one by one."

"Just the thought of that thing gaining its powers back is sending shivers down my spine. He looks harmless now, but I know that THING is just hiding his true intentions because he's weakened. And let me tell you, the moment it gains its powers back it's gonna finish what it started."

Hinata's expression darkened as she sent a heated glare at the women's direction and she was about to shout at the ladies but she saw that Naruto just ignored all of them. The sneers, the verbal abuse, the glares that they deliberately send him. All of it. She knows he heard them too, she knows that he's aware of the glares but he just ignored all of them. It has no effect on him.

"I'm tired of ignoring that!.. that abomination's existence!"

A guy selling fruits seemed to snap at Naruto's presence and picked up a tangerine from his pile and threw it toward Naruto with full force.

Hinata's eyes widened and she was about to shout a warning at the seemingly unaware Naruto who just continued reading.

There was no need though as Naruto swiftly leaned his body to the left before catching the fruit effortlessly with his right hand without looking.

He turned around and sent a wide grin towards the guy who then started fuming.

"Nice try, thanks for the fruit though!" He gave the man a two finger mock salute with his hand that had the fruit, and continued walking.

There was something on his grin that made Hinata's heart flutter. The way he smiles even in the face of such negativity. It made her admire him even more.

She doesn't know how she would've responded if that was her in his position.

'naruto-kun'

She smiled and quickened her steps when she realized that Naruto had left her perception range.

After following Naruto for a few more minutes, they finally reached the place which seemed to be Naruto's destination. A training ground.

She watched Naruto enter the training ground and she followed, hiding in trees far away from Naruto's sight.

Naruto held his hand in a bizarre form that she didn't recognize.

" Kagebunshin no jutsu '' Naruto intoned and dozens of copies of himself appeared.

Hinata's mouth formed an O upon realizing the reason for the Naruto copy that she saw earlier.

' Shadow clone? Maybe we have them in our library. ' she thought, interested in the technique that Naruto used.

She continued watching him until it became noon. Until something interesting happened. His clones seem to rebel against him for a funny reason.

She's starting to get hungry at this point but she decided that she'd stay to see the result of Naruto's fight with his clones.

Not wasting another second, Naruto dashed towards the clones, kunai in hand.

Most of the clones did the same and ran towards him, while others decided to either flank him from both sides or just hide and wait for an opportunity to attack.

Two clones ran up beside him and lashed their chains towards Naruto who simply somersaulted to dodge the lashes and used two of his own chains and entangled it with theirs. Pulling them, Naruto sent his two remaining chains to impale the two clones who couldn't break free in time to dodge, popping them.

' 11 left' Naruto noted. One thing made him raise an eyebrow though. The memories didn't return to him when he destroyed them, he decided that he's gonna worry about it later and just focused on looking for the other clones. 'Where are the others?'

He continued his charge to the clones that were waiting in their guard in front of him. He sees three of them close together using their chains to form a sort of barrier in front of them that they

could simply move around to defend a projectile sent by him, in case he decides to throw his kunai towards them.

He immediately formulated a plan to distract the clones and make them occupied with using their chains to defend.

Inserting chakra to the seals on his wrist, Naruto brought out four shurikens on each hand. Bringing out eight in total. He threw them towards the clones' defensive chains one by one with half a second intervals. Before summoning eight more and throwing them in one go, successfully making them focus on defending against the projectiles instead of him.

Using his four chains, Naruto launched himself high into the air with minimal trouble. What's he's planning was to jump as high as he could to get above their defense's line before sending two chains to the ground at great speed before pulling himself downwards with the help of said chains, after that he's going to use the chains to cushion his fall like the clone he previously destroyed did. Before popping all three of them with his kunai.

Although, before he could do any of that, he heard the whirling of dozens of shurikens all aimed towards him, moving at speeds that he knew wouldn't be able to dodge based on his current situation.

' the chains wouldn't be able to reach the ground fast enough for me to pull myself downwards!' He tried to quickly think of a way to dodge the projectiles but he found nothing. He could always use his chains to form a cocoon around himself but that would make him vulnerable from the chains of the clones below him once he unravels said cocoon. And also, he would be forced to endure the fall since he wouldn't be able to use his chains to dampen his rapid descent.

"Tch" clicking his tongue, he willed his chains to form a cocoon around himself to defend against the projectiles. He figured that taking the impalement by chains would be less painful and more bearable than landing flat on the ground and possibly breaking his bones. If he were to guess his current altitude, he would guess that he's about four stories high up in the air. Landing unprotected would certainly cause him to break a few bones on his legs.

Clank* *clank* *clank*

He heard multiple clanks against the chains and he quickly unfurled it, to see that his guess was correct. The clones below sent their chains towards him, aiming to at least wound him with them.

In total there are nine chains headed his way, meanwhile he only has four, putting him at a disadvantage.

Gritting his teeth, he waited until they were close enough and then he used his chains to deflect at least four of them by making them collide. He's successful, his chains managed to redirect

the trajectory of four of the clones' chains, but it also caused his own chains to bounce off to different directions leaving five more chains rushing towards him.

He used the two kunai he was holding to deflect the oncoming chains, he managed to block three of them but two of them managed to impale his right shoulder and arm. Forcing his hands to let go of one of his kunai.

He focused his sights towards the ground that was slowly closing in.

The clones below readied their kunai and prepared for Naruto's landing.

'I hope this works' Naruto curled two of his chains on each of his legs like springs and 'pumped' large amounts of chakra in them to at least make his fall less harsh.

His feet touched the ground and he immediately felt the impact on his legs, he winced but he did have enough time to dwell on it as the clones already sent their chains to lash at him.

He crouched down and planted his left hand on the ground for support. After the strikes flew past him, he dashed towards them with his chains ready to mutilate them.

He arrived in front of them and clones got wide eyed at how fast he did. He was still channeling chakra to his legs and it increased his speed exponentially.

"Disappear!" His chains pierced their chest and dispelled them in one attack.

'eight left, five of them are in the treelines standing on branches while the last three are still hiding.' he dashed to his side to pick up the kunai that he dropped earlier. The pain in his right arm is still eminent but it's bearable.

After picking it up, with a little difficulty, he dashed to cover behind a tree to at least let the wound on his shoulder heal.

' they're not aiming to kill me but injuring me is allowed. Why are they even rebelling?! I'm sure it's more than just about the food and the treatment they're getting. I'm not even mistreating them because they're basically me and all their memories would go back to me anyways so that would basically be like abusing myself.' he tried to think of a way as to why his clones are going against him, he came up with one and just the thought of it is making him nervous.

'that chakra that they're using, it's not kurama's. It's the one that's full of negative emotions… I can only think of one person that would be able to do that… the dark side of myself, Yami.'

His thought got interrupted as he got pulled into the sealscape by the fox. He looked up and saw the bijuu looking at him.

"" It seems like you're having trouble, I could sense it. Would you like some help? "" The fox asked. It sounds genuinely concerned about Naruto.

Naruto shook his head. " I should be good. Besides, if I can't even beat my own clones without relying on you, that would mean I'm still too weak to fight against someone that I don't know anything about, unlike my clones who are basically me."

The fox hummed, accepting Naruto's response. ""They're using the same chakra that you used against the masked Shinobi. Do you have an idea on what it is? It's vaguely familiar but I can't put my finger on it. And by the way, you don't need to worry about your fight outside, time here is irrelevant because we're inside your mind. Your brain is processing this faster so we could talk here for hours but on the outside it would just be a few seconds that passed. The only downside is that you would get a mild headache because of your brain basically overclocking.""

Naruto nodded at the fox's explanation before answering. " I know what it is exactly, the chakra I mean. It was from my dark side, my hatred. I didn't know that I had bottled so much of it that it formed a doppelganger inside my head, made out of pure negative emotions."

"" That's why it's familiar. I felt it inside you and it's getting stronger day by day. The first time you came here, it's not as strong as it is now but it's there.""

Naruto's eyes widened in shock. " It shouldn't even be possible right now that I have a better hold of my emotions, so how?!" He asked himself.

"" Its hold on your mind is greater than mine and as great as yours, it's rejecting my attempts to communicate with it.""

He shook his head. " Don't worry about it for now. I'm gonna try to find a way to contact it in the future. The fact that he's able to manifest and get stronger even when my state of mind is exponentially better than it used to be, means that I'm doing something wrong. I need to figure it out myself if I want to fix this."

"You said earlier that you sensed my distress earlier? How exactly?" Naruto asked with a thoughtful expression.

"" The seal has been loosened enough to allow me to somewhat sense what you are feeling and seeing. I could also communicate with you now even without you entering this sealscape. I am now also able to see glimpses of what you are seeing on the outside."" Kurama said.

" Oh, that's good. you'd be able to watch what's happening outside now. Anyways, I'm going out now. I gotta finish those dumbasses so I can finally eat."

"" Aren't you going to formulate a plan? Time is slowed here so you would get a lot of opportunity to think carefully."' the fox asked.

Naruto just smirked before replying. " I already did."

He waved at kurama, bidding his goodbye. " See you later." And the fox grunted.

Naruto snapped back into reality and peeked behind the tree he was hiding before quickly panning back again.

' three of them are still in branches while the other remaining five are still hiding. Eliminating the three would be easy but the problem comes when It's about the other five. Luring them out would be the best idea once I finished the three.' he summarized, he checks on his right arm to see that it has almost healed completely, making him amazed at how fast his natural regeneration actually is.

' first I would need cover' he made the cross-shaped hand seal of the shadow clone jutsu and did the technique. The only difference was that he used an inappropriate amount of chakra to summon failed clones and create a lot of smoke. He didn't want to risk giving them any more allies so he chose to create failed clones that dispelled right after they appeared.

He made his chains disappear and jump up to the branches before dashing and jumping towards the clones' locations. Their chains have a distinct shine in them that is visible even through the thick chakra smokes that he created. The red aura covering them also doesn't help.

He landed behind one of his clones before stabbing it in the back. The clone didn't even have enough time to make a sound as it dispelled soundlessly.

'7'

The last two clones in the branches are close to each other, it gave him many options to deal with them. They were still distracted by the smoke and were trying to find him. Like the one before, Their chains air still out, meaning that he can see where exactly they are currently. He holstered his two kunai before summoning two shurikens.

Clink* *clink* it made clinking sounds that alerted the two clones of his location, but it was part of his plans. By the time their chains reached the source of the sound, He had already moved.

"He's not there!" One clone shouted.

They frantically searched for him but it was no use. They didn't have a wind technique to disperse it themselves so they have to rely on their senses, their eyesight is already obstructed and pinpointing the location of the original would be nearly impossible since his skills in stealth surpasses even a beginner jonin.

Naruto soundlessly made his way behind them before throwing the two shuriken, hitting one on the nape and the other on its upper back.

' Five left' he couldn't see the shine of their chains anymore. Meaning they figured out that he could see them.

' How though?' Then it clicked in him. The memories of the clones he destroyed didn't return to him but instead it returned to the rebelling clones.

'Tch, is this another doing of Yami? No matter, I'll quickly deal with them. I just have to hide and then it's the waiting game.'

He proceeds to hide in the treelines and sit still, overlooking the training ground. His senses are on full throttle, he tries to empty his mind and only focuses on even the slightest sound. He could hear the rustling of leaves, the chirping of crickets and even the sound of the animals scurrying.

His head snapped towards the sound of scurrying animals and sure enough, he found one of the rebelling clones, standing there, seemingly searching for him.

A smile bloomed on his lips. This is it. He knows full well that it's a trap and he's gonna spring it. It seems that the clones got tired of waiting when they realized that he's not gonna come out and they decided to lure him out instead.

Too bad though, his plan is more solid and structured than theirs.

He held his two kunai and jumped out of his hiding spot. The clone, hearing his arrival, snapped his head in his direction and grinned widely.

"got tired of hiding eh? Bossu." The clone said in a mocking tone.

Naruto just looks at it boredly and with a deadpan expression.

The clone grits its teeth and beckons for Naruto to come at him. " Why don't you come here and test it out? "

Naruto shook his head before sighing loudly.

He then started sprinting towards the clone with his weapon ready and the corrupted clone did the same.

Their kunai met creating sparks, the clone disengaged him and threw shurikens at Naruto which he blocked and deflected easily with his kunai.

Behind him, he heard the sound of a chain speeding towards him. He saw the face of the clone In front of him gain a massive grin that threatened to split his face.

Quickly summoning his own chains, he sent it behind him and a loud *clank* reverberated to the air.

On both his sides, he caught a glimpse of two clones running towards him with their chains pointed forward aiming at him.

The clone in front of him did the same and he suspects that the one behind him is also doing it based on the loud footsteps he's hearing.

They simultaneously sent their chains towards him at great speeds.

Smiling, he launched himself upwards before sending two chains to pull himself down.

The clones' chains, due to the speed they were moving, made turning them abruptly impossible.

Naruto landed on top of their chains and sent each of his four chains towards them. He saw a shadow from above him and he smiled widely.

The last clone launched himself into the air, planning on doing what Naruto failed to do earlier.

It sent three chains towards Naruto but he simply dodged all of them by leaning away from its trajectory.

He looked up and looked at the clone's face, sending it a wide shit-eating grin. " It's over. "

The four clones saw this and immediately tried to get away from him. But it was futile. The chains moved far faster than they could dodge.

Forcing a fifth chain to manifest, he sent it towards the clone and pooped it, alongside the other four.

The memories of the clones returned to him, along with the other corrupted clones that he destroyed earlier.

" Haaaaah " he released a massive sigh and he plopped on the ground.

' that was hectic. '

"" That was somewhat entertaining, you did a decent job. "" He heard a voice in his head say. He scrunched his eyebrow before thinking.

' Kurama? '

"" No, it's the sage. Of course it's me! "" Kurama answered sarcastically.

' a ha ha ha. And what do you mean somewhat entertaining? ' he asked with an awkward laugh.

"" Exactly what it means, continue entertaining me and maybe I would lend you my chakra without chakra poisoning.""

' Well I'm glad you enjoyed it. You can keep watching my daily activity as long as you want. Just don't do it when I'm in the bathroom, it's kinda embarrassing y'know.'

He heard the fox grunt in approval. "" I should also remind you that there's someone watching you. Their chakra is weak and low so there's no way they're an ANBU. ""

'Oh? Can you tell me what they're currently feeling?, Their emotions I mean.'

"" Nervousness and anxiety. Extreme amounts of it.""

' oh that's probably Hinata. Thanks'

The fox hummed before going quiet but he can tell it's still watching from inside the seal.

' I should probably go talk to her. '

Navi: most of the guest accounts that I see are usually just trolls and people who wanted to clown on others without being reported.

Also, I had trouble reading through the guest's review because when I pan my eyes on the next line I always get lost, making me have to re-read the sentences above just to find the line I was in. Lol.

Navi: firstly did I specifically mention that the only thing he knows about the kage bunshin was the handseals? No, right? I stated that he got the memories from a guy who watched the entire series and just recently rewatched it again. Meaning that he somewhat knows the workings of the shadow clones' from the explanation he got from the show.

Next review. I'm gonna clown on you since you seem to hate my work.

Heavenly-cauldron: Also the jonin can only make one clone? That's pathetic.

Not to mention using that logic, if he makes two and is left with 1/3 of his chakra that's fatal? That's more stupid and pathetic.

Navi: I'm gonna ask you this with full seriousness. Have you actually watched the show or does all your knowledge come from fanfics? Let me refresh your memory in case it's already rusty.

Tobirama in the war arc only managed to make two clones and even he was surprised. Granted he was an Edo tensei but he still has more chakra than even some elite jounin from the show in that weak edo tensei form. And not to mention the Edo tensei has an infinite supply of chakra, infinite supply not reserve. It's only logical that a novice jonin with a small chakra reserve would only be able to make 2 at most.

And yes. It was stated in the show that that amount of chakra is fatal to someone that used the kage bunshin with a low chakra reserve. Even one shadow clone would put anyone with a small reserve in great danger.
