It's quite fun looking at Pokedex entries. You can find some pretty interesting stuff!

I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Terra (Turtwig) Darcy (Riolu) Nico (Starly) Niran (Ponyta) Zhaleh (Vaporeon) Gira (Giratina)

Giratina stares over the body in front of them. It has been bandaged; ointment plastered over every tendril of the burn. The portion of burnt hair, unfortunately, was sacrificed to get to the black and red skin underneath. They are not expecting her to be happy with that result, but they are prepared to weather it as long as she is alive to feel it.

They are a Ghost-Dragon and a legendary Pokémon. An actual god of dimensions and the personification of antimatter. A part of the creation trio. Whose job is to maintain and safeguard the fabric of reality.

Humans are technically Pokémon too. A lot of Ghost-types were once human, like Yamasks and Phantumps. He watches from the Distortion World as Gekko Moria and Doctor Hogback animate a corpse. They will have to have one of their teammates inform them that someone has done better than them.

Giratina is not Xerneas, they cannot give life. Nor are they Ho-oh who has returned beings to life before. It is not a part of their sphere of influence.

But they will not fail. They cannot fail.

A part of Giratina enters the body. A part that is full of memories and emotions related to their trainer. She opens her eyes; everyone is holding their breath.

She sits up and looks at herself before looking back at them.

"Umm, who're you? And who am I, exactly?" She scratches the bandages on her head. "Why is my head so itchy?"

Well, at least the painkillers are working. Giratina is glad Darcy is out training with Zoro, so he does not have to feel the utter despair that blankets this safe island in the Distortion World. Although he does freak Zoro out by suddenly bursting into tears of his own accord.

Considering the Riolu is less than a year old- ah.

Giratina now understands why all the Pokémon have de-evolved. Aside from Zhaleh's evolution being a mutation caused by outside forces - and the water necessary for this mostly covers the world already - the others are young. Three of them are only three years old. Zhaleh is the eldest at five and a half.

This may not be the best time to realise they are surrounded by actual children.

Feeling Zoro's panic as he stops climbing up the rocky side of Reverse Mountain to cry shouldn't have been funny. Nothing about this situation is funny. Aliahra is dead and she is never coming back. The others won't accept it, but he knows.

The hand that rests on his head is filled with awkwardness, confusion, and faint panic. The callouses from sword fighting feel nice as the hand smooths over short fur. Darcy wipes the latest set of fresh tears away, making space for new ones he doesn't dare stop. Crying is good and he can't afford to not feel them now while he has the chance. He pushes the faint amusement and gratitude in Zoro's direction, not knowing how to properly vocalise it but wanting Zoro to know anyway.

The swordsman stiffens, waves of utter confusion come off him. He feels it and it's a reminder that people here wouldn't know that the Riolu species are empaths. They know nothing of Pokémon but what they tell them. Zoro stares at Darcy suspiciously. The Riolu just feels empty. He reaches up and grabs his hand off his head. "Ah don' wanna train anymore. Can we go back ta da ship?"

"Why did you start crying?" That is all Zoro asks, making no movements. "And what was that… thing you did? With my emotions."

He's unnerved. Some people and some Pokémon don't like the fact a Riolu can read them as if they are open books. With this crew, they feel so strongly it's almost like someone is reading the emotions out to him, there's that little effort.

"Aliahra died." He says. "It's 'ittin' now. Wanna leave it." He's fully aware he's pouting. Sue him, he's in a kid body again. "Ah'm a Riolu. We normally communicate through emotions we sen' back an' forth ta each other. Talkin's new. Sorry 'bout it."

Zoro reclines against the rock they're momentarily stopped on. He looks out across the sea, a mass of black with shifting white dots that blink in and out. It looks cool, and the Merry looks so small from so high up.

"You can feel everyone's emotions." It's a statement, he nods anyway. "Shit."

Darcy's responding grin is weak but real. "Ah'm out 'ere 'cause it's too much in dere. Dey put me in a coma earlier. Durin' da escape." The grin fades and he stuffs himself under Zoro's arm. The action takes the swordsman off guard, but he doesn't try to push him away. Darcy offers up his equivalent of a pinkie. "Promise not ta tell? De're gonna be weird 'bout it. Don' wanna feel it."

Zoro sighs but begrudgingly offers his pinkie back. "Fine, I promise. Now let's get back down."

A grin arises with a challenge. "Race ya!" He takes off. Zoro swears and follows behind.

Darcy loses but considers it a win anyway. He's feeling much better. Maybe… maybe not all the Straw Hats are untrustworthy. Zoro's pretty cool at least.

Terra's the first to respond to Aliahra. "I'm Terra!" He greets with a smile. "Your name is Aliahra. You got hurt and that's why you can't remember anything. But don't worry, we're your family. We'll help you."

After that, the others introduce themselves, Nico switches with Darcy so he can too. Gira is the one that has to explain most of everything though. About the worlds and the switching that they can do to the Real World. The fact that they have to explain Pokémon is disheartening. Though Zhaleh seems to be more distressed about her lack of knowledge about what water is.

It's a good thing it is still nighttime, so they have time to explain things. Niran says they're leaving with a nice, fun pirate crew in the morning, and they'll want to see that Aliahra is alright.

"Although it is a pretty severe injury. Don't be surprised if they think you died. It was Gira who managed to bring you back, and well… they are the Devil." There is no humorous or scared reaction to the title Nico gives to Giratina.

Terra worries some of the strange earth of the Distortion world under one of his feet. 'This… may take some time.'

Reassurance washes over him, he turns to his brother standing beside him. Darcy gives a half-smile. Neither of them is telepathic, or at least, not anymore in Darcy's case, but they've been together the longest. It's not even that they get along the best, they're just on a more similar wavelength and they know it. Darcy's never hesitated to draw attention when Terra wants some quiet, and Terra's always given him sturdy support back when he wants some calm.

'Although it does help that Darcy can feel and understand my emotions.' Terra thinks. He smiles back.

Luffy is acting strange once morning comes. Mr 9 puts it down to the absence of his 'parrot' and does not know him enough to really get it. Miss Wednesday puts it down to the absence of Nico and the loss of a crewmate.

The Straw Hats found it strange that he did not let them mourn Aliahra, deferring to answer why in the morning. Usopp worriedly asks if something is wrong with one of the Pokémon. Zoro says they are probably waiting until after they recover to have their funeral.

Darcy's crying fit during his watch last night is kept a secret from the rest of the crew. The bashful nature of the Riolu coming out as he made Zoro pinkie swear of all things to keep quiet about it. The swordsman almost does not want to ask how old the Pokémon are. Though he knows he will have too soon.

The only ones that do not shout in shock as Aliahra seemingly walks out of the Lighthouse clinic are Mr 9 and Luffy.

Half her face is bandaged along with her neck, but bright red ferns still peak out on her collar bone. She looks at them, holding some long brown hair that was cut off in her hand to access the burns underneath.

"Uhh, hi? My name's Aliahra. Who're you guys?" She asks with no recollection in her eyes or voice.

Giratina probably should have realised it is the brain that holds memories before they revived her.

She looks at the seven people who aren't voices in her head. Their gaping mouths are kind of funny. Although none are answering her question.

Nico squarks in fury at the sight of the man with nines on his cheeks and a crown on his head. He's wearing bandages on his head with some red blotches underneath. He burnt my feathers and broke my wing! Of course, I'd retaliate.

Her eyes instinctively close as she nods and talks back to her sister. "Ah, I see." She opens her eyes and glares at the man, blue eyes turning a glowing red and the white darkens to a shadowy black, paralysing him. The red fades and she stops glaring, but the paralysis remains.

A hand absently comes up to scratch at the bandages on the side of her head, the skin underneath feeling itchy. Oi, no scratching.

"Sorry, Darcy." The lack of relief and nothing else to focus on makes the itchiness stronger. Thankfully, a distraction came quickly.

Rubber arms encircle her multiple times and lift her off the ground. "Alira! You're okay. Shishishi. Gira really did bring you back."

She frees her arms from the wrap easily, there isn't much pressure, and hugs him back. That's Luffy, the Captain. "Yep! Nice to meet you Luffy, you give nice hugs."

Luffy blinks at her and tilts his head. "Eh, but we already met. You don't have to say that." There's a bit of a pout. "You're a part of my crew!"

She blinks and sheepishly scratches the good side of her head. "Uh, well you see." Terra replaces her before she can explain. Which is good, seeing as she barely has much of a grasp of the situation herself.

"Aliahra's brain was fried. When Gira brought her back, she didn't keep her memories." The turtle says sadly. Then he blinks and considers the hug Luffy's got him in. "Also, Aliahra's right. You do give nice hugs."

She switches back and throws her arms around Luffy, this time lifting him off the ground instead. Admittedly with a bit of a struggle, she forgot to bend at the knees at first. "This hug is mine, Terra. You can have your own later." She pokes her tongue out in the air. The Turtwig still gets the message even if she can't really aim it at him.

Luffy is returned to the ground and Aliahra beams at him while ending the hug. "So yeah, that's what happened." She shrugs. "I know everyone's names; I just don't know their corresponding faces. The others have told me about you guys though. Darcy's a bit of a grump about it but even he said nice some things too."

She finds out that green hair is Zoro, orange is Nami, good blond man is Sanji and long-nose is Usopp. The two 'guests' are the blue-haired Miss Wednesday and the arsehole, Nico's word, blond is Mr 9.

"It's nice to see you up and about, Aliahra. But… how?" Nami asks in shock. Usopp looks frightened at the very sight of her standing but nods furiously in agreement.

"Oh, that's easy." A smirk plays across her face. "A deal was made with the Devil."

"I'd have done it anyway. Gira didn't need to make me promise." Luffy pouts. Everyone but Zoro and Crocus shout at him for saying that and agreeing there is, in fact, a deal with the Devil going on. (Not that all believe it's involving the actual Devil but reviving someone from the dead is still terrifying enough for Miss Wednesday to give the title some credibility.)

Pressure falls on everyone and they turn to see Aliahra, eyes glowing red with a ghostly crown and great wings of shadow behind her. Someone, who will not be named for they have been tortured enough, immediately lost control of their bladder. They are joined by another, who shall also not be named, as Giratina speaks through their trainer's body.

"You should hope he upholds his end of the bargain. Your lives are on the line after all." The pressure disappears along with the changes to Aliahra's appearance. Her knees give out and she falls, Sanji doesn't hesitate to catch her.

"Sorry about that. Gira's kind of protective of us." She says wincing. "Thanks for the catch, Sanji."

Her stomach growls. She can hear her Pokémons' do the same. Luffy's echoes behind it. Sanji's curly eyebrow twitches at the second sound but he doesn't seem too annoyed with having to make breakfast again.

"There's compost for Terra in the kitchen, he can eat it while I make everyone's meals." Everyone blanches at that.

"Are you seriously going to feed Terra decomposing scraps?!" Usopp yelps.

The others can make any similar statements as Terra switches over and nuzzles Sanji. "Thank you thank you thank you!" He giggles then sings: "Yummy, yummy compost~ Just for me!~"

"Considering that turtle is more plant than animal, it makes sense," Crocus mutters just loud enough for everyone to hear. "Still didn't expect to see such a happy reaction though."

"Compost is delicious! It's a treat I never get, so of course, I'm happy." Terra laughs, balancing precariously on Sanji's shoulder. "Yummy, yummy scraps~ All mine to eat!~"

Aliahra laughs at the singing. Trying (and kind of failing, not that Nico would tell her) to help fix Nico's feathers. She threads some of the better ones into the braid of cut hair. Terra doesn't care and just keeps munching down on the scraps and all the scraps Sanji tosses his way.

"Considering your diet and Luffy's appetite, I doubt there's going to be any wasted food," Sanji remarks, finishing up with the food on the stove. Terra hums and nods.

Before Sanji can snuff the flames on the stove, Niran jumps out for a bit to deal with it. Terra is left behind to deal with the questions. Because apparently fire horses like eating fire, even if it doesn't have any substance and it's just a flavour thing.

Darcy turns to her, pointing Niran's behaviour out, and says "Don' be like Niran an' leave us ta answer questions for ya." She nods in acceptance. Darcy raises an eye ridge back at the others who stare questioningly back at him. "What? We gotta make sure she knows 'ow to act too. No need ta teach 'er bad habits an' stuff."

Breakfast is really tasty they all agree. Darcy agrees to help Aliahra defend her food from wandering rubber hands seeking meat in return for one of her sausages. Even with Sanji's food being the most delicious food she's ever eaten (regardless of it being the only food she even remembers eating), she can't eat everything on her plate. Giving it to her Pokémon and saying it's a reward for letting her eat as much as she could with Luffy at the table seems to appease Sanji.

Arceus dis ish sho good! San'i ish 'oldin' out on ush. Darcy moans. He finally swallows. Ah wanna be a girl now.

Aliahra wishes she could see the expression on Darcy's face. Her gut is telling her she's missing out on something adorable.

Sorry, it's an exclusive club. Even if you got a female body, you'd still be male on the inside and that's what'll matter to the excellent cook. Nico taunts with a healed wing covering her face like a fan.

Crocus reminds them all of their 'mission' with a clap of his hands. "So, are you finally leaving my lighthouse or are you staying another night?"

They rush on board, only two not feeling excited about the adventures ahead. Two prisoners have realised the sort of pirates they're bringing into the trap may not be ones to trifle with. The people of Whiskey Peak are going to be in for a rude awakening if they try to either serve the crew or try to capture the Captain for his bounty.

They almost cast off but a giant whale bursts out of the sea, "Bye! I'll be waiting for you, Luffy." He cheers. Aliahra is more concerned with the bad reconstruction of their Jolly Roger on its head than anything else about it.

'Although I guess painting on that scale and being unable to go back and look over it during the process wouldn't help.' She admits.

And it's not like we could have done any better. Most of us don't even have any hands! Niran agrees with her.

"Bye Laboon, we'll see you soon!" Luffy waves. "Make sure you don't damage that mark in the meantime, okay?"

"I won't. Come back soon, please." The whale replies.

They will, he does not need to worry. They will even be bringing Brook back with them. Gira hums.

"We will, Laboon. And Gira says we'll be bringing Brook back too!" She tells him, it gets her some strange looks, but none are stranger than the ones Laboon and Crocus give her.

The whale's louder voice drowns out the doctor's. "Thank you!" He cries joyously with tears in his eyes. "I knew he wasn't dead. Tell him I'm still waiting for him. I haven't forgotten the promise we made."

Dat's some serious loyalty… Aliahra! We're findin' dat bastard, kickin' 'is ass den making sure he comes back. Darcy announces loudly. She winces slightly at the noise.

"I will! Darcy's gonna punch him for taking so long, and to do that we definitely need to find him, won't we?" She laughs, waving.

The lighthouse and Laboon disappear in the distance after a while. Aside from Miss Wednesday and Mr 9, everyone is going around and doing things. Having no idea what she can do, and her Pokémon also not really knowing how to help either, she sits on the back railing of the ship for a bit before going to the side instead. She can see much more here and feel more included even when doing nothing. It also kind of feels right somehow.

You did like to sit here. Zhaleh smiles quietly.

"So, you could understand Laboon? Are your Pokémon translating for you?" Nami comes over and asks while checking her log pose again. She's doing that a lot.

I am. Gira says. "Gira is." She states out loud. "They're a big softy, it's adorable."

Sanji twirls by with smoothies. "To be able to love even the Devil themself. Truly, you have a big heart, my lady." He says before going heart-eyed. "Nami-swan, you look beautiful charting our course."

"Thank you, Sanji," Nami picks up her smoothie. "Now get ready, Crocus said that between here and the first Island is where the ocean is at its strangest. The weather alone will change at the drop of a hat."

Aliahra- She cuts Zhaleh off with 'Say no more.' and they switch.

She tackles Giratina in a hug and, seeing that the Renegade Pokémon is in their Origin Forme due to being in the Distortion World, is not the most successful. There's a large difference in size between their more defensive and offensive forms. It doesn't help that the larger form levitates too.

Aliahra pouts up at them. "Get down here so I can hug you properly."

"Of course, Aliahra." They immediately get ineffectively dogpiled by everyone. The Pokémon are too short to reach up to them. Only Nico can really reach them, and as a Normal-type, she can really only touch them if they will it. The same would go to Darcy if he didn't know Foresight.

The Riolu is beaming, sending waves of happiness back at them, not all of it his own. Aliahra is right, the 'Devil' really is a big softy.

Zhaleh isn't the happiest to discover that his control of water doesn't seem to translate to snow that well. It's kind of hard to participate in a snowball fight when his snowballs move so sluggishly. His paws aren't very useful for making them too.

He spies Zoro resting his eyes, the snow blanketing him. There's a current ahead that wants to turn them back around, but he really wants to beat Luffy and Usopp. He couldn't really participate in the snow sculpture contest and his judging is apparently biased according to Usopp. But really, a fighting snowman is much cooler than one that's pretty by human standards. He did give Usopp points for the fine details though. What more did he want?

He throws a snowball at Zoro's face. He doesn't get up. Is he actually asleep? A more compact snowball from Usopp targets the Vaporeon but he stops it in the air and turns it on Zoro. He still doesn't wake up. There is a challenge here and Zhaleh's going to accomplish it.

'Well, this should wake you up.' He thinks, hiding a smirk before diving over the side of the ship and adjusting its course. Sure, they fixed the whip staff thing, but it's a lot easier for him to just shove the water into the ship just right. It lurches, a pile of snow splashes off the side, and there's a bit of a commotion on deck. He returns to the deck to face an angry Nami.

The scary face she's making may freeze him in his place, but she doesn't punch him over the head like he can see her fist throbbing to do. Ha! She's learning.

"Zhaleh, why did you just do that?" She asks, the rage hiding behind a calm veneer.

He holds up a paw and then retracts it. He can't list off the nubs like humans can with their fingers. He pouts at the realisation, it always looked cool when Aliahra used to count off reasons why someone was going down during a fight back in Sinnoh.

"Okay, one. We were on a current that was going to make us do a one-eighty. Two, it's easier for me to just shift us onto a better current than to try and make the ship do it. All these ropes confuse me. Three, I wanted to see if it'd wake him up." He points to Zoro. Who is, in fact, still sleeping. He scowls at the sight and pelts him with another snowball.

'WAS THAT A SMIRK?!' Zhaleh observes. He can feel a vein throbbing in his temple.

Well, your snowballs aren't exactly impressive, dear brother. Nico hums.

He knows what she's doing, but damn if that smirk isn't infuriating. Rubber arms bind him before he can start a fight. A hand starts scratching behind an ear. He's not even mad that a trill escapes, it feels really nice.

"He lives for now." He mutters. Aliahra's laughing her arse off in his head. 'Shaddup.'

She doesn't. He doesn't really mind, it's nice to hear her laugh again.

"Alright, rain's coming soon, a storm by the feel of it. Let go of Zhaleh already, Luffy." Nami calls out.

"How-?" Mr 9 asks where he's shovelling snow. He's really sucking at it. Zhaleh feels for it and manages to shove most of it off the ship. He and Luffy laugh at the shocked faces he and his companion have after the display.

"Zhaleh's fins start vibrating when rain is coming. He did it before the snow started falling too, although it was more lethargic. I think he's sensitive to levels of moisture and pressure in the atmosphere." Nami absently answers, double-checking her Log Pose before beginning to yell instructions at everyone. Including Zhaleh, it becomes his job to pay attention to any more of the sneaky currents they may encounter.

Honestly, when the ocean starts doing weird things like being bridges over whirlpools and having icebergs almost pop out of nowhere into their paths, he's tempted to dive off the side and see how it all works. He's not getting the best view from the deck. The weather is equally as crazy, Nico running a bit of a commentary on the wind conditions she can see through his eyes that he eventually shares with Nami. She really looks like she wants to hit him when Nico warns her through him about some gentle eastern spring winds.

He gets in her good graces by Surfing an iceberg out of their path. Miss Wednesday's and Mr Nine's expressions are just spices on the fishcake. Now he's craving fishcake. He glances over at Sanji who's busy doing things with ropes and stuff. No food for now. He pouts and directs his attention back to the sea. Another turny current ahead. He tries to be more careful with shifting the ship this time.

He returns to the deck and is told to warn them before having to do it in the future. He catches sight of Zoro, who's still sleeping. He feels his forehead twitch again but lets it go for now. It would be better to have one member of the party rested after this fiasco is over. Zoro and the other Pokémon can defend them all if someone idiot tries to attack them while everyone is resting.

They finally reach calmer waters and stable weather. Everyone else falls in a heap on the ground.

"Aww, I wanted it to keep going." Zhaleh pouts, still energised by the environment. The deck may have gotten a little soaked. "Oi, Ocean. Do it again!"

Nami couldn't take it and smacks him over the head. She doesn't even care that means she gets smashed with a Surf and knocked unconscious. Judging by the stink eye everyone else is giving him, they're considering doing the same. Sanji even threatens to turn him into fish sticks.

"No more pats for you," Luffy says, giving out the worst possible punishment.

Zhaleh feels that loss and pads over to him. Sticking his head into Luffy's hand gets him shoved off. He whines. There is no sympathy and more importantly, no pats. He spins on his heel and goes to switch out with someone. "Fine then, I'll get pats from someone who will pat me then."

He flops into Aliahra's lap and lays there with sad eyes up at her. She doesn't even hesitate to start lavishing him with the love he deserves. 'I stayed out in a storm for them! They should appreciate me better.'

To be fair, there were only three instances of lightning, and they were all very far away. Still sucked. He avoids any more thoughts on the matter.

Darcy snorts at him. Zhaleh narrows his eyes at the Riolu. He stares challengingly back. Giratina places themself between them. "No fighting in my realm. Do not waste your energy on each other when you will have to fight some grunts later."

"Killjoy." Darcy and Zhaleh say together. They immediately try glaring at each other through Gira's body. The ruler of the Distortion World sighs while their human laughs.

Terra trots after Usopp into the bowels of the ship. Sometimes, being the slowest has its consequences, like being the last to say 'Not it' when Zhaleh switched them. At least he can stomp and mutter quietly enough that none of the humans can hear him but for Zhaleh and the rest to know how he feels about it.

None but Aliahra seem remorseful about it. However, there is something he wants to try and that's why he's staying out for now. They arrive at where Usopp nailed some wood to try and fix the leaks in Merry's hull. It was very clearly done in a rush, but the ever-changing weather of before is gone now. They can fix it more cleanly.

Usopp removes a plank and a small stream of saltwater starts trickling in. Terra puts his head to the wood and focuses on it. He's a Grass Pokémon. He is part plant too. The wood groans a little as the connection forms. He grins even as Usopp yelps at the sound.

"What was that? Terra, just what are you going to try?" Usopp asks.

"This." He says, and the wood starts growing again. Filled with the life it once had the planks meld together. In other areas where extra wood is being used as a band-aid, they either fall off, nails being pushed out of the wood from the inside, or it grows into the wood already there.

A minute later, half a dozen minor repairs are finished, and Terra really feels like taking a nap. Preferably in the sun but he knows he won't get that. If he does that, Darcy will probably come out and try to get training tips from Zoro. Maybe see if the swordsman has some smaller weights lying around. Ones that he can actually use at his size.

The energy has got to be building up inside him. How he hasn't tried to map out the Distortion World by running and getting Niran caught up in a race astounds him. Though he doesn't need anyone to tell him that Giratina is becoming an overprotective worry-wort who wouldn't let either of them run out into 'dangerous' territory anyway.

'The Distortion World has never been that dangerous.' He feels Giratina's stare bore into him. 'Although being family with its ruler is probably why.'

"This is amazing, Terra," Usopp says as he inspects the rough job. "I don't know how it'll hold up though."

Terra just shrugs. It'll be more cost-efficient at least, though he does want to get better at it. A lot better. If he could heal Merry while napping, then he has an excuse to nap in the sun! He doesn't even care that it'll probably take until he's a full-grown Torterra to do it. He'll need a lot more sun by the time that comes along.

Eating is all well and good, and Sanji's a great cook, but sleeping and eating through photosynthesis is a lot more relaxing than the catastrophe that is mealtimes on this ship. Not to mention, no one can steal his food if he's making it in his body and immediately digesting it.

'In addition, you can actually start growing berries and the like once you become a Grotle.' Aliahra remarks. 'Giratina's telling me about your specific species. Is it true that some Pokémon would spend their entire life on your back?'

'Yep. Although not mine personally, you'd find stuff like that on wild Torterra, not that there are many left.' He focuses on another section, Usopp carefully watching him this time. 'All the 'starter' Pokémon are nearly extinct, they're so rare. Kanto was apparently getting better with theirs recently though. They even imported a trio to Kalos and Galar each.'

He flops on his belly, more energy gone. Honestly, he really wants to nap and sunbake now. He can make his own sugar if he remembers the science of Photosynthesis properly. That's pretty much grains of energy. A hand pats his shell awkwardly and kind of timidly.

Note ta self, Usopp's got a Timid Nature. Lucky bastard, dat fits 'is fightin' style. Darcy mutters, probably not realising that it's out loud. He doesn't know.

"I'm going to have a nap. That was really tiring." Terra chirps at Usopp before feeling the switch forced upon him. He feels himself being placed in a human's lap. Darcy's thoughts relaying to them through the gateway. Although technically, whoever is out front is the gateway, meaning it is the gateway's thoughts they're hearing.

'Probably a side effect of Giratina's hidden ability being Telepathy.' He yawns and snuggles into Aliahra's lap, Zhaleh does make some space for him but he's not giving up too much. 'Jerk. Once an Eevee, always an Eevee.' He snickers and accepts the paw smacking his head with more grace than Zhaleh did earlier with Nami. A hand scratches around the back of his neck and he melts.

Terra falls asleep in his Trainer's lap as the crew reaches the island of Whiskey Peak, a deadly den of bounty hunters. Typically deadly anyways.

Unrelated to this story but Pokemon related, I'm attempting a Nuzlocke for the first time! I'm doing it with my brother who often helps my unintentional streak of having a traded Pokemon on every team and knows a lot about Pokemon. It's in Pokemon Emerald, which means the attacks for types are either all special or all physical. I started playing in gen 4, where each attacking move is either special or physical. It's different.

Just defeated Norman (had to vs him twice because I forgot to save -_-, no death either time.) and hopefully, I'll be finished (and have won) before the next update. We're going all the way to battling Steven after defeating Champion Wallace. Only 4 of my pokemon are dead so far, at least they were never any I cared about. (Dear Arceus I don't want to lose any of the ones I care about).
