Chapter 2: Mama, ooh
"Congratulations ma'am it's a boy."
Ahhh! Why is it always a bright light in my eyes!
"Oh, dear. Nurse, please take the baby to the other room. Have the equipment ready."
"Wait What! What's wrong!?" A panicked woman scream in fear for what was now happening in front of her.
"Nothing serious. I just need to have the child be looked at, it's all." with that the doctor left.
Hold up what's happening? Why is everything so big right now? And why does it feel like I am being carried right now?
So many questions right now, not many answers. Where am I? What happen? Why can't I move my arms or legs?
Ok, don't panic nothing good ever happens when you panic! Let's see I'm going to try and move everything, so I can see what I'm working with.
" Oh look at him trash around. He seems to have a lot of energy for a little one. So cute."
What! Cute!? Lady Help me!
"Nurse can you please lay the baby down. I have to check his eyes."
Baby? Im a baby? How? Why? Wait did he say my eyes? Why would he-
Oh please no don't tell me. Gods, please don't tell me.
"Let us see..." please no! "huh as I fear, poor little one." Nooooo.
"Doctor?"
sigh..."He's blind." Noooo-

"His eyes are white. Poor little guy. he would never be able to see."

"Oh, the poor thing. We should take him to his mother. and give her the news."

I can already tell I'm going to hate these people.
Not because they clearly have not dealt with babies before. But for a lack of protocol on how to deal with my eye problem!
What type of hospital is this!?
But the good thing is that I can see. And boy I'll tell you these people don't look like doctors or nurses from back home.
Honestly, they look more like mechanic or scientist. But hey what do I know I'm just a baby right now. A baby in a new world.
Oh my god, I've been Isekai.
As the doctor and nurse carry me through the doors. I finally get to see my new mother.
That is what I would like to say if she wasn't in the middle of strangling one of the doctors.
"Saff! You need to calm down!"
"I'll CALM DOWN! ONCE I GET MY BABY PIETRO! WHERE IS HE!? OR I SWEAR! I WOULD KILL EVERYONE IN THIS ROOM AND THEN MYSELF! " shaking the man left and right.
To my surprise, neither the doctor nor the nurse try to calm her. Almost like they've been through this before.
"Ma'am please calm down." The nurse bravely asks.
Only for my mother to look at her with murder in her eyes. Which made both of the pair shivers. But quickly stop when she saw me.
Gently putting the man back down into a chair. She started to move toward us.
As the doctor wisely hands me toward her. I can finally see her face. Pale skin with dark blue eyes and long black hair. You know she almost looks like Rin from Fate. If you lighten her eyes more and give her hair twin-tails, yea I can see it.
"Well, ma'am we need to tell you something important about your child."
She doesn't respond. She keeps her eyes on me. Not letting go or taking her eyes off me. Almost like I might banish from her soft grip.
"Saff? How about you lay back down in the bed." the Doctor name Pietro tells her "It seems the others have to tell you something important."
Huh, why does his name sound familiar?
As my mother takes me with her, she lays back down in the bed. Covering me with more blankets.
"Well? What was so important that you had to take my baby away from me?" she ask with a calm voice almost like she didn't want to scream in front of me.
Ha, too late for that.
"You see ma'am-"
"Saff. I told you before, you can call me Saff."
"Right Saff. We needed to run a test on the little one, because of his eyes."
She looks at my face and smiles.
For some reason, I smile back. Not knowing why, just felt right to do.
"What about his eyes? They look fine to me."
"Saff your child is blind."
She looks at the doctor.
Then back to me.
Now back at the doctor.
Back to me.
She looks to her right to Pietro but he is not me.
then back to me.
For some reason, I feel like she wanted to throw something at him. But I don't know why. weird?
What she actually does is holds her hand in Infront of me and moves it left and right. Almost like she wants me to follow it.
So I do.
Happy with my response she looks back at the doctor. (OK STOP!)
"Doctor don't take this the wrong way, but stay a mechanic. I don't think children are your thing. You too nurse stay a scientist."
Huh, So I was right...
What the hell Mom! Why not take me to a real hospital?
"Well Saff maybe next time you shouldn't stop by my shop, moments after your water breaks, Lucky for you the spare bedroom was available." Pietro not amuse by my mom antics.
" I wanted to tell you the news in person. Sorry for being a nice friend." Mom pouts.
sigh.." Just don't do that again."
I really hope you don't.
"Back on topic why would you say that? I'm good with kids." the nurse said not happy with what mom said.
"Yea! I mean his eyes are white usually when babies have white eyes. They mostly turn out blind right?"
" In some cases yes. But seeing him follow my hand and smiling at me there is no doubt about it. He can see.
'I CAN FIGHT! '
"By the way, what test did you do to him?" Mom said looking at both of them.
"Well, we didn't do any test... It was more just a hypothesis when I saw him and his eyes. And we didn't want to do anything crazy without your permission. haha," Doc said more quietly while the nurse was looking somewhere else.
" Then you made the right choice." both of the gulp in fear.
"Ok, that's quiet enough. Both of you thank you for the help. I'll add this to your next payment when you get it. For now, gets some rest the shop will be closed for the next few days, I'll message you two later." Pietro told the two.
"Sure no problem boss." We will see you later." with that both the fake doctor and nurse left.
Well, that was something. Not ten minutes into the world and my life was already in danger by some fake doctors and nurses. What a good start.
"So what will you be calling him?"
Ohhh name drop
"I still have no idea. I had so many names come up and none of them felt right."
"Well take your time. I'll bring you some food you must be hungry after that."
"Not really. After this, I feel like I can take on the world's strongest fighter."
Goku?... Really?
"Well let's not get too hasty. You still need to recover and you have someone who needs you now more than ever." With that, Pietro left.
Yo, he has a robotic wheelchair.

"He's right. I can't be doing anything crazy now. After all, you are all that I have left. No family, No team, and no...no...n." she's crying, I don't know what her life was before this but it feels like she lost more than anyone can handle.
I try my best to move my arm but I still can't. I want to help her. But I can't.
The best I can do is Smile or Cry but we don't need two people crying now.
Damn it.
Mom looks at me and smiles.
"Thank you. For being in my life. My little sapphire."
Sapphire the gem?
"Is that what you want to call him?" Pietro returns with a bowl of soup.

"Well it is my last name, so I guess it will be his as well."
Saff Sapphire is the name of my mother. That's a really weird name but then again this world does have that color-naming rule. I think?
"So what will be his first name then?"
"I'm thinking, I'm thinking, don't rush me."
Well, whatever she chooses it's going to be a new start for me. I don't know where I am or what my place in this world might be. But I think this is the start of a new adventure for-
"Seth. His name is Seth Sapphire!" Mom looks so proud of that.

"You were never good at naming things Saff." Pietro sigh on his chair.
"What! I was the best at naming things Freesia always said so. But who cares what you think." She looks down at her little gem " What do you think? Do you like it, Seth Sapphire?"

I want to cry.

I'll cry right now.

"Wahh no don't cry sweet heart don't cry its ok! Pietro help!"
