3rd person POV

Two swords clashed. One orange. One blue.

One was a boy with an extraordinary background. The other was a man at the whims of his perverted god. There could only be one winner.

Clash after clash their blades struck true with the other. However, these were no ordinary men. They possessed uncommon in a person. A mana core. Like a second heart, it could allow the user to wield tremendous power if they cultivated it enough.

Starting at black then moving on to red, orange yellow, silver, and then white. Only the best of the best reach white core. But enough about that. We have a battle to watch.

The two once again locked blades. Bell leaned forward trying to push Hyakinthos back. He forced him to take a knee before his other hand came up.

He caused an explosion in his hand which blasted Hyakinthos in the face. Hyakinthos went flying back bouncing on the ground.

Bell was already at his side and kicked him. A vine caught Hyakinthos and placed him back on the ground.

Bell jumped away from where he was standing as another vine shot forth from where he just was.

Bell looked around and saw a redheaded woman barely standing with her rapier in the ground holding her up.

Bell activated static void and quickly moved to her. He hit her on the back of the head with his hilt and deactivated static void.

She fell to the ground unconscious.

"Looks like you're all out of friends Hyakinthos," Bell said as he walked away from the woman.

"I don't have friends. All they are is pawns for Apollo and soon you will be too" he said pointing his sword at Bell.

"And that's why you'll lose. You see the people around you as pawns. Pieces for you to move around as you see fit" he dodged a spike that came out of the ground.

"You see the difference between me and you is that I trust my friends. Because we're friends. They're not my pawns and the fact you refer to people as such is disgusting"

Bell then threw a fireball at Hyakinthos impacting an earth spike and causing it to explode. Hyakinthos shot forward and Bell blocked his sword again. Bell forced it down and snapped his fingers causing fire and lighting to hit him.

"The hell kinda spell is that!" Loki yelled her fists slamming on the table.

"Hmm looks like the kids a rare gem indeed," Gareth said drinking from his mug.

"Ha, and you thought he was weak wolf" Gareth laughed.

"Shut up old man I could still kick his ass!" Bete yelled.

"Hm, it seems like he didn't need training after all" Riveria said her hand on her chin. Ais closed in on herself more.

"Ah that spell seems to be one of his favorites," Freya said.

"My lady I don't think I've ever seen a spell like that," Allen said his eyes wide in shock.

"That's because he created it my dear" Freya sensually said.

"What how? No there's no way that's impossible" Allen said in disbelief.

"Calm Allen. All will be revealed soon" Freya said. She didn't tell Allen this but she noticed a figure watching the fight in the background.

"Yes very soon," she said taking a sip of her wine.

"It is as I feared," Miach thought. He also saw the figure in the background. It fits the description of who Regis described. An old enemy had arrived.

Hyakinthos hit the ground. He rolled and got back up to his feet. He looked down and saw his shirt had a new hole in it.

"Rahhh"

He looked up and saw Bell flying straight towards him. He barely reacted in time to block the sword. Bell pushed himself forward a little more and flipped over him.

Bell then slashed him across the back. His blade met flesh as Hyakinthos whether out of cockiness or pride didn't wear armor.

Hyakinthos stumbled forward. He swung his arm back summoning multiple earth spikes. Bell's fire exploded out from his body causing the spikes to explode.

Hyakinthos then spun around on his heel. He summoned another sword made of earth and started duel-wielding. Bell was blocking each attack but was starting to have trouble keeping up.

"Hmm looks like he's on the back foot now," Ryu said.

"Come on Bell you gonna let him beat you like that! Remember our deal, you little bastard!" Lyra yelled.

"Oh my it does seem like he's having trouble," Astraea said putting a hand to her mouth.

"He'll be fine," Miach said sipping his tea.

Everyone watched as Hyakinthos had Bell pressed up against a wall he made. He had Bell's sword arm pinned with one. And was about to hit him in the head with the rock one. But right before it hit Bell parried it with his knife.

Hyakinthos was knocked off balance by this. Bell seeing his opportunity kicked him back.

"Surprise. I can duel-wield to" Bell antagonized.

"How! How are you this skilled! How is some bottom feeder little ant who no one even heard of this skilled? It doesn't make any fucking sense!" Hyakinthos roared.

"No! No, I've had enough of this!" Hyakinthos then raised his arms in the air and summoned two rock golems.

They were the color of sand and we're about 8 feet tall. They started marching towards Bell. Hyakinthos smirked as he knew he had Bell on the ropes.

That was until Bell summoned two golems of his own. Hyakinthos smirk faltered as he got angrier.

Words were not exchanged this time however as Bell had just slashed Hyakinthos across his chest. Hyakinthos swung his earth sword down at Bell. He parried before punching him in the face.

Both moved out of the way as a rock golem had fallen where the two were.

"That knife. It can't be" Hephaestus thought. "Was this your successor Zeus? Is this supposed to be the last hero?"

"You know it was pretty stupid not to wear armor" Bell chided. Hyakinthos put his hand up to his chest and saw his hand red with blood.

"Why would I need to wear armor against someone weaker than me" he growled.

"Cause I'm kicking your ass" Bell replied.

Hyakinthos charged and swung his swords again. Bell used his weapons to catch them and force the up in the air. Bell then stabbed him in the gut with his knife. Then brought his sword down against his collarbone.

Both had the desired effect he was looking for. He then kicked Hyakinthos back who fell to his knees.

"Give up. It's over" Bell said aiming his sword at Hyakinthos's neck.

Hyakinthos was quiet for a moment. Then Bell felt it. Rage. Uncontrollable rage.

"NO! NO NO NO NO! I REFUSE TO LOSE" he shouted. Then a burst of magical energy shot forth from Hyakinthos sending Bell flying into a rock golem.

However, it wasn't one of Bell's. The golem grabbed him and slammed him on the ground. It then picked him back up and threw him into a large piece of debris.

Bell groaned in pain as his armor was shattered. He held his eyes open out of sheer will. He tried to push himself up but fell back down as his body hurt too much.

He knew he needed to get up or else Hyakinthos would kill him. That type of rage makes you not think. He tried to push himself up again but couldn't.

Bell's eyes then widened as Hyakinthos appeared before him. He tried to move his arm up to block but was too slow.

However, a blow never came as he was saved by a blonde elf. "Laurier?" He asked.

She didn't respond as she was fighting off Hyakinthos. With her short sword in hand, she would fight until Bell could stand again no matter what.

"Yeah go, Laurier!" Alise cheered.

"You can do it ms Laurier" Lefyia also cheered.

"She's only buying time" Ryu stated.

"What do you mean ms Ryu," Lefyia asked.

"Hyakinthos has a mana core in the light yellow stage. He has the ability to challenge level 4s without one and win as well as any level 4 with a mana core lower than his" she said.

"And since Laurier doesn't have a mana core- Kaguya started.

"She'll lose" Lyra finished.

"Then Bell needs to get up" Nezhe the grayed-haired werewolf said.

"He will. He just needs a moment" Miach calmly said.

"Don't worry girls. Bell made a promise" the girls turned to look at Astraea. "He promised me that he would not let Laurier get hurt"

"And Bell never breaks a promise" Miach added.

The group then turned their heads back to the divine mirror.

"Huh looks like the kids weak after all" Bete said. He had a disappointed look on his face:

"Aye. He looked like such a promising young lad to" Gareth added.

"Aw is mr Argonaut gonna lose," Tiona asked.

"Use your eyes and look" Tione spat.

"Hmm, such talent. Yet he lost all the same" Riveria thought.

"Ha. Serves him right for making Ais sad" Loki cheered.

"I wouldn't count him out just yet," Finn said.

"Oh don't tell me" Loki groaned.

"Yup my thumb is hurting" Finn cheekily said.

"Get up Bell" Allen grumbled.

"Don't worry dear. He still has one more trick up his sleeve" Freya added. She was happy knowing that Allen still held concern for Bell.

"Bell" Anya thought as we watched the divine mirror. She hated seeing him like this. She didn't want her friend to be in pain. Yet there he was bleeding all over the place.

"Get up Bell, please. I finally found you. I can't wait to meet you again so please get up" she thought inside her head.

"BELL! YOU GET YOUR SORRY ASS UP AND BEAT THAT APOLLO BASTARD!" Mia shouted scaring everyone in the bar.

The bar then erupted into cheers and motivation.

"Come on little rookie"

"You can do it"

"Teach the Apollo familia a lesson"

"Regis. You can feel it to can't you" Bell asked. "Yeah. Looks like it's time" Regis responded. "Damn. Here I was hoping I could continue the act for just a little longer" Bell then pushed himself up to his feet.

He had finally found what he had been looking for. A new family. He wasn't going to let them down. Seeing as Laurier was fighting for her life and losing Bell knew what he needed to do.

Laurier blocked an overhead swing from Hyakinthos. He kicked her in the gut causing her to stumble. He knocked her sword out of her hand. He then raised his sword again and was aimed right at her face.

She brought her arms up to block it. Then felt blood hit her face. She hesitantly opened her eyes and they widened in horror.

"Are you ok" Bell gently asked? He had grabbed her and moved her away at the last second. In his arms, she felt safe.

"Bell your-

"Are you ok?" Bell asked again cutting her off. She said nothing and nodded her head.

"Good. That's good. It'd be a shame if you got hurt. Especially if that pretty face of yours got scarred" he said letting her go. She missed the warmth he gave.

"Bell. Y-your eye" she stuttered out. Bell had moved her out of the way and made sure she was safe. However, that didn't mean he was unscathed. Going down his eye in a vertical manner. Was a deep cut.

"It's ok I have two" he gently said. He then gave her a soft smile while she stuttered and tried to speak.

"Now I need you to stay here and rest. You did a good job" he said. He didn't let her answer as he walked towards Hyakinthos.

"Oh, so you're still up. Must hurt to stand doesn't it" Hyakinthos mocked.

"I feel fine. However, you won't feel fine in a minute" Bell replied.

"Oh, and why's that? You gonna have someone ambush me from behind again"

"No. Because I'm done holding back" Bell said. Then to the shock of absolutely everyone. Yellow runes started to appear all over Bell.

His once red eye turned purple and the eye that had the cut opened back up as well. It was also purple. Everyone watching the divine mirror knew what this meant.

"You're a- you're a-

"That's right. I'm a Leywin" Bell said realmheart fully activated.

Hyakinthos panicked and sent multiple earth spikes toward Bell. But before they could even reach him they crumbled.

"Your magic won't save you" Bell emotionlessly said. He continued his walk as Hyakinthos tried everything to stop Bell. But nothing worked.

Bell then made a finger gun and shot a beam of darkness at him. It hit him in the shoulder causing him to hold it in pain.

Bell was then face-to-face with him. Hyakinthos tried to throw a punch but Bell caught it. He then turned that arm to ice.

Hyakinthos tried to throw another punch only for Bell to catch the other arm as well. This time he used fire and burned it black. Bell then kicked him to the ground and put his foot on his leg.

Using lightning he locked up all the muscles in that leg.

"You still have one more leg. Surrender now and I'll leave that leg alone" Bell ordered.

"I surrender I surrender! Just please stop" Hyakinthos begged. Bell then kicked him in the face knocking him out. Bell then had a suspicion about where the foreign magic Hyakinthos had acquired came from.

Turning him over Bell ripped the back of his shirt off. Then stumbled back in horror. Going down Hyakinthos's spine we're red runes. Alacryian magic.

"No. No, it can't be" Bell said stumbling back.

"Oh but it is. Boy wonder" a voice growled out. Bell quickly turned around and found a black spike shoot through his shoulder and pin him to a large piece of rubble. Bell screamed out in pain as he felt the spike go deeper.

"Ah, the screams are always the best part. But I'm here to have a chat. We have so much to talk about. Grandson of Zeus"

A new challenger has arrived. Bell has defeated Hyakinthos but had to reveal his identity in the process. Now all of Orario know who Bell is.

Anyway, I hoped you enjoyed the fight. I know I've said it before but fights aren't my specialty so I hope it was at least decent. Anyway, next chapter will be a good one and it'll make your jaw drop. (I hope). Or maybe it'll make you gasp. Anyway, I hoped you enjoyed it and I'll see you next time.
