Watching Hero/Villain fights doesn't hold the same charm for Izuku as it did before All Might so readily crushed his dream of becoming a hero. Life with quirks is strange, sometimes it can be a blessing in the sky while other times it can be the curse from hell gifted by the gods or whatever is out there to screw you over. I wanted to become a hero not for the supposed reason as its the right thing to do or that you're saving lives. Frankly, I don't give a rat's ass who lives or dies so long as I get my check.
