A Secret Revealed

Rafael was spellbound by the magic of the mysterious voice.

"I'm... coming..." Rafael said.

"Rafael," the voice called again. "come to me! Come to me, Rafael."

Whoever or whatever the voice belonged to was strong.

Strong enough to bewitch Rafael and lead him right out of the school.

A little while later in Jay and Carlos's old dorm bedroom, Liam and Phil were picking out something elegant to wear to dinner.

When they heard a crash coming from the outside of the school.

"What was that?" Phil asked.

"Don't know." Liam replied.

"We've got to investigate." Phil said.

Phil and Liam looked out the window to see a spellbound Rafael.

"Rafael!" Liam and Phil exclaimed.

"Come on, Liam," Phil said. "let's grab Stevie and Carole!"

"But what about Lisa," Liam reminded Phil. "you should know by now that that girl loves to play super sleuth!"

"Lisa will worry herself sick if she finds out what's going on! Now, come on, don't be such a dweeb!" Phil said to Liam.

Phil and Liam crept across the campus where the girls' dormitory buildings were.

Over in Mal and Evie's old dormitory bedroom, Stevie and Carole were picking out something elegant to wear to dinner.

When there came a knock upon the door.

"Come in!" Carole called.

Liam and Phil entered Stevie and Carole's bedroom.

"What's going on, Phil? You and Liam are out of breath!" Stevie observed.

Phil met Stevie's gaze, "It's Rafael, Stevie." he explained.

"What about Rafael?" Carole asked.

Liam locked eyes with Carole and sighed heavily.

"Rafael might be in serious trouble, Carole, we need to find out where he is headed!" Liam exclaimed.

"If Rafael is in danger like you claim he is," Stevie said to Liam and Phil. "then, we must tell Lisa at once!"

"No!" Phil said to Stevie.

"And why not?" Carole asked.

"Phil and I don't want to tell Lisa," Liam said to Carole honestly. "because she will worry herself sick for certain!"

At that very moment, Lisa walked into the opened doorway.

"Well, Lisa is already worried, so it's too late for that!" Lisa exclaimed.

"Lisa, we didn't see you there." Phil said.

"Obviously." Lisa said sarcastically.

"We should find where Rafael went." Stevie said.

"Then let's go." Lisa said.

Liam, Phil, Lisa, Stevie, and Carole quickly left the room to locate Carlos.

The five friends found their horseback riding instructor in the computer room.

Carlos turned his chair around to face the group of five.

"What's the matter?" Carlos asked.

"Carlos, we really need your help." Liam said.

"What is it that you need my help with?" Carlos asked.

"Please Carlos, Rafael left campus," Lisa pleaded. "we need your techie knowhow to help us find out where he went!"

Carlos looked into Lisa's serious yet pleading eyes.

"Okay," Carlos said to Liam, Lisa, Phil, Stevie, and Carole. "I'll do it."

Carlos turned his chair around and got back on the computer he was using.

The five horsepeople looked at Carlos searching away.

"Are you able to find Rafael, Carlos?" Liam asked.

"Liam! Just be patient and let Carlos work!" Carole scolded sharply.

"Sorry, Carole." Liam said.

Before too long, Carlos found where Rafael was headed.

"I know where Rafael is going!" Carlos exclaimed.

"Where is Rafael going?" Lisa asked Carlos, clearly worried.

"Rafael is going right inside the Auradon Museum of Cultural History." Carlos answered Lisa.

"Rafael looked entranced when Liam and I saw him outside of our dorm window." Phil observed.

"Rafael was in a trance when you saw him," Carlos exclaimed. "now that definitely is not good!"

"No joke it's not good," Stevie agreed. "so, what's the plan?"

Carlos began to think up a plan.

"I've got it! You five go straight to the museum," Carlos said to the two boys and the Saddle Club girls. "while I contact Ben and Mal!"

"You got it, Carlos!" Lisa exclaimed.

Lisa, Stevie, Carole, Phil, and Liam all disbanded to make a run for the museum.

Back with Rafael, the mysterious voice led him into the museum.

"Rafael," the voice called. "come to me! Come to me, Rafael."

"I'm coming," Rafael said, clearly hypnotized. "wait for me!"

Lisa, Stevie, Carole, Phil, and Liam stopped at the door to the museum.

"Rafa's in there." Lisa said.

"we must go in after him." Liam agreed.

The group of five ran straight into the museum.

Back at Castle Beast, Cogsworth entered the office where Ben and Mal were seated.

"A Mister De Vil to see you, Your Majesty." Cogsworth said.

"Show him in." Ben told Cogsworth.

Cogsworth showed Carlos into the office.

"What's going on?" Mal asked Carlos.

"Rafael is at the Museum of Cultural History and he's acting weird." Carlos reported.

"I'll dispatch a security team to the museum immediately." Ben said urgently.

Back at the museum, Lisa picked up her cellphone and prepared to give Mal a call.

Within a few minutes later, the Queen of Auradon ended her call with Lisa.

"There's no need for that, Ben, that was Lisa on the other end of the line," Mal said. "you and I should meet the Saddle Club, Phil, and Liam down at the museum."

"Okay, Mal." Ben agreed.

Back at the museum all Phil, Liam, Carole, and Stevie could do was watch on as Lisa tried to take Maleficent's scepter from Rafael's grasp.

"Hand me the scepter, Rafa Darling," Lisa called out. "it is totally dangerous!"

Rafael wasn't affected by the scepter's magic.

Stevie noticed the reason why the scepter's magic didn't affect Rafael as Ben, Carlos, and Mal showed up at the museum.

"How curious," Stevie observed. "Rafael has a double black dragon tatoo on his right upper forearm!"

Mal locked eyes with Rafael, "Hayden! My dear older twin brother! It is so wonderful to have you back!" she exclaimed.

The Dragon's Eye then and there replayed the day when Hayden and Mal were born on the Isle of the Lost.

How Hades rejected his eldest child and only son and told Maleficent to give him up.

So, Maleficent did just that and gave Hayden to a passing romani band who then renamed him Rafael.

Rafael then set the Dragon's Eye back where it belonged.

"I have my full memories back, Lisa Dearest," Rafael said. "I just hope it doesn't change anything between us."

"Oh! You are the queen's long lost brother! That is such wonderful news, Rafa Darling!" Lisa exclaimed.

Lisa and Rafael shared a romantic and tender kiss at the museum.
