Snippet 16- Oh, My Back!

Timeline- Somewhere after 'Law & Order: Leanbox- Guilt Tripped'.

*Adrian's Ninja Warrior Gym*

"Alright then, Ninja Warrior wannabes," Adrian addressed the class before him, Peach standing at his side, "before we begin our training, we need to do some warm-up stretches! Ninjas have to be loose and limber, after all!"

"So first," Peach spoke up, "we'll do some neck stretches! Slowly roll your head to the right... hold... now down to your chest... hold... now to your left... hold... good! Now in the opposite direction!"

Among the class was none other than Vert herself, dressed in a green muscle shirt and black exercise shorts, her long blonde hair put up into a crude ponytail. She'd agreed to take part in the training today in order to promote the gym's official opening. "Alright, now slowly windmill your arms for 15 seconds!" she heard Peach call out, doing as instructed... she was thankful that these exercises weren't anything too strenuous. "Alright, now in the opposite direction! ...and, good! Okay, now let's try to touch our toes!" Vert obediently bowed down, stretching her arms downward...

A loud crack! was heard. "Oh, dear...!" The CPU suddenly found herself unable to rise!

"Lady Vert? is something wrong?" Peach called to her.

"I... I think my back went out!" Vert cried in distress. "No, I'm serious, I'm not trying to get out of stretching! Somebody do something!"

"I got this!" One of the students declared, running off and returning with a tablecloth and flower pot which he promptly set on the paralyzed goddess! "Ta-dah!"

"What the-?!" Vert's eyes shrank to white circles. "I meant someone call an ambulance!"

"I'm on it, Lady Vert!" Adrian said, taking out his phone and dialing...

*Leanbox City General Hospital*

"Is there anything you can do for me, doctor?" Vert grunted, her arms and legs sticking up into the air.

"I'm afraid not," the NPC doctor shook his head. "You are now permanently paralyzed. But don't worry, we already have a replacement for you!"

"R-replacement?!" Vert's eyes shrank to circles again. The doctor then pulled the curtain aside, revealing two large musclemen restraining a struggling Peach!

"Lemme go! I don't wanna be a CPU!" Peach protested as she struggled to no avail, a nurse walking up with a CPU Memory. "NO! Don't you dare make me eat that! Argh- (gulp!)" There was a blinding flash, and when it faded there was a green-colored version of Yellow Heart, huge breasts and all! "NOOOOOOOOOO!"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Vert wailed in horror...

*Vert's Room*

"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Vert suddenly jerked upward, finding herself staring at her computer monitor! "Huh...?!" She looked around, before it dawned on her that she'd passed out playing 4 Goddesses Online again. The monitor showed that Vert's avatar had auto-logged out due to inactivity... "Oh, it was..." She slumped slightly in her chair as she fell into relieved laughter. "Just a dream... thank goodness..."

Just then, there was a knock at the door. "Hello, Lady Vert?"

"OH! Um, yes, come in, Peach," Vert called, the door opening to reveal a very not-CPU Peach Macintosh. "Sorry, I just woke up from a nightmare..."

"Fell asleep at your computer again?" Peach heaved a sigh. "Well, come on, up and at 'em! You're supposed to come down and help promote our new Ninja Warrior gym, remember?"

"The gym...?!" Vert went pale as the dream came back to her. "No... NO! I shan't let that horrid scenario come true! NOOOOOO!" She abruptly transformed to HDD, glass shattering as she flew out the window! "Freedom! No back paralysis for me! I'm freeeeeeee!"

"Uh..." Peach sweat-dropped as her eyes shrank to white circles. "What the hell brought that on...?!"

A/N: And the funniest part is, Peach and Adrian weren't even ready to start classes today! XD
