Snippet 25- Nep-Web-Cam

Timeline- Somewhere after Episode 28 of 'The Misadventures of Hyperdimension Peashy'.

"Helloooo, denizens of Planeptune!" Neptune's face popped up on video feeds all over the nation. "It's me, Neptune, your favorite CPU! I've heard that Neptube streamers are all the rage right now, so I'd thought I could give it a try! So, first, is the feed coming through alright? Can everyone hear me OK?" The comments from the live chat were in the affirmative. "Great! Um, so... I wasn't really sure what I should do for my first stream, so how about an 'ask me anything' session? But keep it clean, please, there could be little kids watching, kay? So send me a superchat with your question and I'll answer best I can!"

Superchat: Did Nepgear help set up your equipment?

"Hey!" Neptune frowned. "Just because my sis is a gear head doesn't mean I'm a complete idiot! I'll have you know I set this all up on my own, thank you very much! Don't forget who puts together your video game consoles!"

Chat: I thought factories did that lmao

"Argh! I meant I create the template that the factories use! Stop twisting my words!" Neptune griped. "Anyway, moving on. Next question!"

Superchat: Does Histoire approve of this?

"Oh, I see where you're going with this," Neptune sighed. "Actually, yes, I did tell Histy about this, and yes, she did approve, as long as I limit my streams to once a week or so. So, next question!"

Superchat: Did Peashy grow up? My friend said he saw an adult Peashy hanging around the Basilicom.

"Huh? Oh, haha, that... okay, pay attention, cause I don't wanna break any brains here... but there's actually two Peashys running around! Just like there's two of Vert, and Blanc, and Noire! So there's the cute little P-ko you all know and love, and there's another Peashy that was born and raised here in Hyperdimension! Thing is, her family moved outta Planeptune to Leanbox, so we didn't know about her until Vert happened across her by happenstance! So, yeah, she comes here sometimes to play with the other P-ko, and they think of each other like sisters! So does that clear things up? Alright, next question!"

Superchat: Does that Plutia really turn into a dominatrix?

"Oh boy..." Neptune giggled nervously. "We're bordering on perverted territory here... So I'll just say, YES, she does, and that's all I'm sayin' on that! Next question!"

Superchat: Ever try pulling a prank on little Histy? XD

"Histy?! Oh no, Ohhhh, NO. That is the worst bad idea out of all bad ideas in Gamindustri!" Neptune insisted. "You have no idea how bad it gets when Histy get Pissty! I'd rather fight a level 999999 Arfoire than risk her wrath if I did that!"

Chat: Is she really that bad? She's just a book fairy lmao

"L-M-A-O all ya want, but I know what I'm talking about!" Neptune shook her head. "She can throw men several times her size out the window! She did that several times when brutes busted in right after Nep Jr. was born! You can ask her yourself if ya don't believe me!"

Superchat: My buddy said he saw some blonde chick get tossed out the window last week! Was that Histoire?! O.O

"Most likely. I remember hearing Big Peashy laughing her head off over something, and then glass shattering!" Neptune shuddered involuntarily. "I didn't wanna know, so I kept my head down and cleaned up the gaming room spic n' span!"

"Neptune, you in here?" Nepgear's voice was heard.

"Oh, yeah, I'm streaming right now! Come on in!" Neptune gestured, Nepgear coming into view and crouching down so her face was visible. "Say hello to Nep Jr, chat! Got any questions for her while she's here?"

Chat: did Histy really throw Peashy out the window?

"Oh, that?" Nepgear blinked in surprise. "Yeah, she did, but it wasn't out of any real malice... Miss Peach was just laughing like crazy because she thought I was telling tall tales about Histoire's strength..."

"Yeah, we were just talkin' about that, and how I don't wanna provoke Histy's wrath by pulling any kinda prank on her!" Neptune asserted.

"You make it sound like Histoire turns into some sort of monster when she gets mad..." Nepgear pointed out.

"Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she did at some point..." Neptune half-snarked.

Chat: BEHIND YOU NEPTUNE!

"Huh?!" Neptune turned- to see a monstrous face wearing Histoire's hat! "AAAAAHHHHH!" Nepgear managed to grab her sister before she fell off her seat...

"Just kidding," Histoire removed the mask, revealing her usual cute face and blonde locks underneath.

"NOT. FUNNY." Neptune gasped, one hand over her chest, the live chat saying such things as 'LOL', 'LMFAO', and even 'Good one Histy! XD' "Nep Jr, did you put her up to this?!"

"It wasn't my idea," Nepgear shook her head, trying to suppress her giggles.

"IT WAS MINE," a low voice spoke up from the left- a cloaked person wearing a ghost mask suddenly popping into view! This time Neptune really did fall off her chair, her shoes and striped stockings pointing upward into the air! "Just kidding, Nepsy!" the figure removed her mask, revealing herself to be Uzume Tennouboshi, doffing the cloak soon after.

"I think she fainted," Nepgear looked down. "I mean, I knew you were coming and you even made ME jump a little!"

"I didn't faint!" Neptune's muffled voice was heard. "I'm just getting my heart restarted here...!" Her legs came down, the CPU's face popping back into view a moment later. "Uzume, you suck! And you're a bad influence on Histy!"

"Hey, I'm just trying to liven up your stream a bit, here!" Uzume gasped between belly laughs.

"Given the comments, I think it worked," Nepgear observed. "Wow, there's lots of red superchats coming in for Uzume!"

"They do realize all that money's actually goin' to me, right?" Neptune sighed.

"Technically, it's going to the Basilicom's funds," Histoire countered. "Don't expect your allowance to be raised due to this."

"Argh! Histy the slave driver!" Neptune bemoaned. "Come on, chat, back me up here!"

Chat: Nope

Chat: Sorry, not getting Histy Pissty at me

Chat: Not risking the wrath of Histy!

Chat: I'm not getting tossed out the window like Big Peashy!

Chat: You're on your own lmao

"It seems the people have spoken," Histoire crossed her arms with a triumphant smirk.

"Geez, since when did I get demoted from 'main character' to 'butt-monkey' here?!" Neptune groaned in disbelief.

"Now you kinda know how I felt in Ultradimension," Nepgear shrugged.
