It appears my lord, the attack on Jerome was a failure. It seems that the hitman that Fink hired to take out Jerome was found dead in the home of Mr. Valentine. The police chief revealed the truth to me, that Jerome wasn't the one who killed the hitman. As he was out and about doing his job. Rather someone else killed him in Mr. Valentine's home and fled the scene very quickly. According to what the witnesses told him, it was a woman like figure dressed in a cloak and hat witnesses saying, "She looks like Daisy Fitzroy." Hmm, if she and the Vox Populi are involved with the hitman's death and the survival of Mr. Valentine. Then it makes the job of removing Jerome Valentine, even harder and tougher.
