Can't say I'm the best writer, and any tips/corrections would be appreciated, but I hope this story is enjoyable.

"We're losing the shields!" Sabine shouted, swerving the Phantom upwards to dodge the TIE fighters' onslaught.
"The navicomputer's still loading, just keep it up!" Ezra called back, staring at the hyperdrive display anxiously.
CRASH!
A louder explosion rocked the phantom as a TIE landed a direct hit, knocking Ezra to his knees.
"Shields down!"
CRASH!
"Engines failing!"
Ezra stared back at the display - still loading.
"Just hold them off a few more seconds..."
CRASH!!
"Ezra! We have to go!"
'100% Complete' - "Jump!"
Sabine shoved the hyperdrive lever forward, whirring it into action...
BOOM!
"Something's wrong!" Ezra called, but it was too late;
The phantom suddenly jerked off course, before the stars stretched out, as they entered hyperspace, on a route to who knows where...
