Paris, the City of Lights and Romance. A bustling town that was famed for its fashion, art, and class.

The local high school, Collège Françoise Dupont, was brimming with the excitable chatter of students walking around during the passing period, talking about their plans for the future, or just shooting the breeze with each other.

However, one young man was not exactly having a good day. The boy in question had blonde hair, and emerald-green eyes, and was trying his damndest not to draw attention to himself.

This was Adrien Agreste, son of famous fashion mogul Gabriel Agreste and his wife, Emilie, a talented freelance actress. His wealthy family had done their best to raise him right but due to their influence and his rich upbringing, Adrien was not very good at social skills, being very nervous and awkward, not sure if he could make friends who wouldn't just use him for his family's money or take advantage of him in other ways.

The lad had not said a word to anyone all day. He had come close when he saw a pretty girl with dark blue hair in pigtails wave at him, but as always, he shrank away. He just made the conclusion he usually did. That she wouldn't want to talk to a spoiled little dweeb like him anyway.

"Why would she? Why would anyone?"

As these thoughts rushed through Adrien's head, a fist came dangerously close to hitting him. He let out a short yelp of fear before turning around to see his attacker.

There were two young men, two threatening, unfriendly-looking young men.

"Well well well, if it isn't widdle Adwien Agweste." the first one said with a grin and a furrowed brow.

Adrien just stood there, shaking.

"What's wrong, rich boy? Cat got your tongue?"

"Maybe he thinks he's too good to talk to us." said the other bully, cracking his knuckles.

"Is that it, Moneybags?" said the first bully. "You think you're too good for us?"

The first bully then knocked Adrien's books out of his hands and grabbed him by the shirt collar.

"I think it's time someone knocked you down a peg, Agreste, something to cry to Mommy and Daddy about."

He then threw Adrien onto the ground. Before Adrien could crawl away, the bullies gave him a swift kick to each of his sides, then picked him up. But before the first one could plow his fist into Adrien's stomach, his fist was grabbed by someone else.

"Leave him alone."

The first bully turned to see a handsome young man a few years older than them glaring with cold dark blue eyes and messy black hair. The bullies let go of Adrien as they turned to the newcomer, sneering at him.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Mr. Big Shot Wayne himself. What, do you want some of this too?"

"No..." The boy, Bruce Wayne, said calmly. "I'm just figuring out which bone to break first."

The first bully laughed before throwing a punch straight at Bruce's face. However, he swiftly dodged to the side, catching the fist with his elbow before slamming his fist down on the bully's arm, dislocating it as he screamed in pain before Bruce grabbed him by the collar and delivered a Judo Flip, slamming him into the floor with a loud thud.

However, when the two bullies had been initially harassing Adrien, the girl he had noticed earlier, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, had seen what was going on and ran to get the principal. When they both arrived, they arrived just in time to see Bruce slam the first bully to the ground.

The second bully ran to tackle Bruce but he grabbed him by the shoulders, planting his feet firmly into the ground to keep himself from being pushed back before slamming his elbow into the back of the bully's neck, making him gag as he fell on his hands and knees before Bruce picked him up by the collar and punched him hard across the face, his jaw dislocated as he fell to the floor in a heap.

"Mr. Wayne!" Principal Damocles barked. "I understand you are doing this in Mr. Agreste's defense, but I would appreciate it if you all come to my office now."

The two bullies slowly got up, nursing their injuries as they noticed the principal glaring murder at them, cowing them into submission as they followed along with Bruce. Marinette made her way over to Adrien, who had managed to get back to his feet and was shaking from the whole ordeal. The girl gave a kind smile as they both followed after the others.

Principal Damocles had read both bullies the riot act for assaulting Adrien and had made sure to put them both on a lengthy suspension. Of course, he had also scolded Bruce for taking matters into his own hands in such an extreme way, especially since he was normally a model student.

Currently, Bruce, Adrien, and Marinette were sitting in front of the Principal's desk as he addressed the three of them.

"Thank you, Marinette, for bringing this to my attention. Bullying of this magnitude is intolerable." Damocles said.

Marinette bowed her head. "Oui, Mr. Damocles."

Damocles then turned to Bruce. "And Bruce, while I cannot condone your rather extreme actions, I still commend you for coming to Adrien's defense."

"My family never tolerated bullies," Bruce said. "No matter where they're from."

The Principal frowned. Bruce's parents, philanthropist entrepreneurs Thomas and Martha Wayne, had been gunned down by a common robber when Bruce was still a small child. The event had traumatized the poor boy but it was a miracle the family's faithful butler, Alfred Pennyworth, was there to support him through this hard time. It also helped that the Waynes were good friends with the Agrestes and Mayor Andre Bourgeois.

Mr. Damocles then turned to Adrien. "Adrien, my boy, would you like me to call your parents? Would you like to go home?"

Adrien responded with a quick and frantic nod. Mr. Damocles gave a single nod and then looked to Marinette and Bruce.

"I'll take it from here, Marinette."

Marinette gathered her things and put her hand on Adrien's shoulder.

"I hope you'll be okay, Adrien."

Bruce didn't have many belongings of his own at the moment but he stood up and put his own hand on Adrien's shoulder. Despite his stoic expression, his eyes clearly showed empathy for the boy as he said no words but nodded his head and left.

When Gabriel and Emilie arrived, they were worried sick for Adrien's well-being. Principal Damocles told them everything, about how Adrien was attacked and how Bruce came to his defense.

"He should have done a lot worse to them..." Gabriel growled.

"Dear..." Emilie said worriedly, placing her hand on her husband's shoulder.

"Not even our son's first day and already people are judging him!" Gabriel snapped before seeing the pleading look in his wife's eyes as he settled, if only slightly. "I'd hoped this would have been better than when he went to primary school..."

Emilie frowned, remembering that disaster herself. She and Gabriel had hoped against hope that Adrien would have a better time fitting in at Collège Françoise Dupont but it seemed that no matter where one went, there would always be those that judged and bullied them.

"You best make sure those two brutes are properly punished, Damocles," Gabriel warned firmly. "Or so help me god, I'll do it myself."

Damocles nodded grimly, his tired eyes showing his age. "I will do my best, Mr. Agreste."

With that, the Agreste Family left the office as Damocles pinched the bridge of his nose. If anyone would ask him about what happened on this day, the word he would use would be "disastrous".

When Adrien got home, the first thing he did was rush to his bedroom, crawled into a fetal position on his bed, and sobbed quietly into his hands. Gabriel and Emilie both sat with him, making sure he got everything out of his system as Gabriel's assistant, Nathalie Sancoeur, stood in the doorway.

Eventually, Adrien had calmed down and was sitting on the side of his bed, his head hung low as his parents stood beside him.

"I'm a loser..."

"Don't say that, sunshine!" Emilie said, heartbroken that her baby boy would say such a thing.

"Why shouldn't I?" Adrien bitterly asked. "I have no friends and everyone thinks I'm a stuck-up brat. I couldn't even thank Bruce or that nice girl who helped me!"

"Bruce has always been one to look after others, Adrien," Gabriel said gently. "That boy doesn't require thanks. Thomas and Martha raised him right for as long as they could..."

Emilie cupped Adrien's cheeks gently. "Adrien, baby, look at me. This was one bad day. I'm certain you can overcome this. All you have to do is pick yourself up, and tell yourself it'll be okay."

"And I'm sure that girl who helped you would love to be your friend," Gabriel said. "And just for safety, I'll have Gorilla go with you from now on."

Gabriel patted his son on the back and stood up as Emilie took Adrien by the hand to draw him a nice hot bubble bath to help him relax, Nathalie joining them as Gabriel went to check over some things in his office, unconsciously tugging at a butterfly-shaped brooch...

After Thomas and Martha Wayne's tragic deaths, all of their resources and wealth were inherited by Bruce. Even at such a young age, Bruce did his best to manage the family fortune while the company was handled by close and trusted friends until Bruce was old enough to take over.

"Master Bruce, I heard about what happened at school today." Alfred Pennyworth, the Wayne Family's faithful butler, said as Bruce took off his coat, revealing a white tank top underneath as he went to the mansion gym. "While I truly respect how you came to Young Adrien's defense, you could have at least handled those boys with a little more subtlety."

"Subtly doesn't get very far in thick skulls like theirs," Bruce said as he began pounding away at a punching bag. "But I do agree, it was probably a good thing Dupain-Cheng was there...I would have done a lot worse if she hadn't gotten the principal."

"I understand your anger, sir." Alfred gently said. "You haven't seen Adrien since he was a baby and you don't want to see him hurt. But wouldn't it be good for him if you actually took the chance to connect with him?"

Bruce stopped wailing on the punching bag and turned to his butler/adoptive father, letting out a tired sigh as he realized Alfred did have a point about Adrien. The poor boy was shy, socially awkward, and scared to make friends for fear of rejection. It'd probably be for the best if somebody he remembered was there by his side to guide him.

"I'll try, Alfred..." Bruce then began walking to his room. "Be sure that my 'night clothes' are ready."

Alfred sighed, knowing exactly what Bruce meant by "night clothes".

"I'll be sure to get the blood off from the last night's encounter..."

Marinette Dupain-Cheng was walking home from school, still thinking about poor Adrien. While she didn't exactly like Bruce's way of handling the bullies, she still at least appreciated how he came to Adrien's defense as well.

"Hey, Mari! What's going on today?"

Marinette turned and smiled to see her neighbor and surrogate older brother-figure, Peter Benjamin Parker. Peter was a young boy who moved to Paris from New York City with his aunt. He was a few years older than Marinette and went to the same school as her.

"Oh, Peter! Today's been okay, what about you?"

"Can't complain, Ms. Mendeleiev asked me to do some extra credit work. That woman just can't get enough of me, huh?"

Marinette giggled. Peter was a prodigy, gifted in all forms of science and mathematics. He was arguably one of the top students at school though he tended to avoid PE, which was odd because Marinette had seen him be quite physically fit and flexible, almost like a spider.

Marinette then frowned as she remembered something. "Hey, Peter, do you know about Adrien Agreste?"

"You mean the new kid? Seems nice enough, pretty quiet though. Heard he's the son of Gabriel Agreste, the guy you idolize."

"Yeah, he's his son. I saw him getting bullied and went to get the principal. Though Bruce Wayne was there to defend him as well."

"Bruce Wayne?" Peter asked. "Huh, I always got mixed signals with that guy. I mean, he's smart and studious but he tends to keep to himself but he's also willing to help out others without asking for anything in return."

"Yeah, I can't get a good read on him either. All I know is that his parents died in a robbery gone wrong and that they were friends with the Agrestes." Marinette said. "Still, I hope Adrien's okay..."

"Hey, maybe check up on him and ask to see how he's doing? Seems like he could use a friend." Peter suggested as Marinette smiled and nodded.

"Thanks, Peter. I'll see you later!"

Peter smiled as he waved Marinette off before hearing police sirens going off and turned to see a bank robbery in progress, the burglars driving away with their stolen loot.

"Well, guess it's time for my after-school job..."

Peter ducked into a nearby alleyway and pulled open his shirt to reveal a red and blue suit underneath with black web patterns and a symbol of a black spider on the chest area...

What do you people think? Say hello to my Miraculous Ladybug AU mixed in with my two favorite superheroes; Batman and Spider-Man!

Here are some notes on the AU to give you a basic rundown.

-Gotham City is essentially mixed with Paris here. When he was young, Thomas moved to Paris and befriended Gabriel. Thomas soon built Wayne Enterprises in the heart of Paris to help provide for those in need while Gabriel got into the fashion business.

-Peter Parker became Spider-Man in New York but after Uncle Ben died, he and Aunt May moved to Paris. Aunt May runs a homeless shelter called FEAST that is supported by the Wayne Foundation and the Agrestes as well as Mayor Andre Bourgeois.

-Gabriel is not evil in this story but he still has the Butterfly Miraculous. Emilie is also not in a coma due to the broken Peacock Miraculous. Adrien is also much more shy, nervous, and socially awkward due to having a relatively sheltered upbringing due to his father's concerns over how people would treat him.

-When Thomas and Martha Wayne were killed by Joe Chill, Bruce traveled the world in order to acquire the skills he needed to become Batman, returning when he was 14 years old to resume his education at Collège Françoise Dupont. He is now currently 18 years old.

-Peter is also 18 years old and first moved to Paris with Aunt May when he was 15. He became close friends with Marinette and is now something of an older brother figure to her. He and Bruce are the top students at school.

-Bruce knew Adrien when he was a baby but lost touch with him when he left to travel the world and train himself to become Batman. He came to Adrien's defense because he managed to recognize him from childhood and also because he hates bullies, seeing them as no better than Joe Chill.

-A lot of the more questionable and outright stupid decisions made in Miraculous canon will be erased in this story. I'm taking many cues from Miraculous Alliance by KivaTheDCWizard and the Stammering Adrien AU on Tumblr.

-For the Batman and Spider-Man side of things, I'll be taking cues from just about all their continuities such as Batman: The Animated Series, the Dark Knight Trilogy, The Batman (both the cartoon and the 2022 movie), Batman: The Brave & The Bold, the Arkham games, Spider-Man: The Animated Series, Spectacular Spider-Man, Spider-Man PS4, the Tobey Maguire Trilogy, the Andrew Garfield Duology, and even the MCU.

Well, that's all the notes I can think of for right now. I might include more in the future. Anyway, enjoy the story and what's to come as well as whatever amazing and spectacular adventures Batman and Spider-Man will have when Ladybug and Chat Noir arrive on the scene!

Until then true believers, as a great man once said; EXCELSIOR!
