Luz's advanced hearing had picked up on the snap, making her turn her head up and gasp at what she saw!
'No!' Luz thought.
Pink ribbons latched onto Luz and her friends, and Luz felt darkness.
Flashes appeared as fragments of what happened came to her eyes!
FLASH!
Her friends captured!
FLASH!
Her girlfriend reaching out for her!
FLASH!
Her palisman wrapping around her arm in fear!
FLASH!
The Collector was laughing in glee as "Raine" smirked.
FLASH!
"AAAH!" Luz screamed, waking up with a gasp!
She placed her hands over her face as she gasped for air, trying to catch her breath as she tried to regain her bearings.
"Ugh, w-w-what happened?" Luz asked before looking around.
Her blood ran cold as she looked leaned back in the chair she was surprised to be sitting in.
'No……it can't be.' Luz thought, shaking her head to deny this. 'I can't be HERE of all places!'
Looking around, Luz felt her entire world had come crumbling down as she had woken up in the last place she wanted to be. INSIDE of the Emperor's Coven castle throne room, sitting right on the throne!
She quickly stood up and fell away from it, before looking down and seeing her outfit.
"Why am I here, why am I dress like Belos, and why-" Luz looked at herself, "Do I pull this outfit off way better than Belos ever did?"
'The boots, the pants, and the shirt look sort of nice; but the sleeves and gloves need to go.' Luz thought before looking at her cloak with the Emperor's coven symbol on them. 'And this, I don't even need this horrible thing.'
With a quick motion, Luz threw the cloak off her body and saw Stringbean was curled around her neck!
"Little baby!" Luz said, happy to see a familiar face. "Thank Titan you're with me!"
"Hisssss." Stringbean said as she nuzzled her mother/witch.
"Come on, let's get out of this place." Luz said, walking towards the exit of the room. "Maybe we can find where the others are."
She went to the hall, and followed the halls to the entrance of the castle. She went onto the bridge.
"Not many pleasant memories here." Luz said, before looking down in horror, "Oh... my... Titan."
In the pit, was hundreds, maybe thousands, of people petrified. She saw Emira and Edric holding onto each other, she saw Principal Bump and some of her teachers reaching out to be saved, she saw Amelia crying into Boscha's shoulder as Boscha held her, like she was trying to protect her.
Luz stumbled back in shock, her stomach feeling sick as she placed a hand over her mouth to prevent herself from throwing up bile!
T-This is horrible! W-Who did this?!" Luz asked, nearly falling to her knees.
"Who did this? Is that suppose to be a joke Or did you honestly forget?" A new voice said, making Luz jolt. "YOU did this."
Luz turned and saw Amity, looking away from her, holding her staff, crying.
"Amity?" Luz asked.
"You did this." Amity said as she turned to show her crying eyes, dull and cold instead of shining and loving.
"You helped Belos meet the Collector, you are the reason all of this has happened." Amity said
"What?" Luz asked, shocked by this. "But Amity, you know the truth. Everyone knows Belos manipulated me, like he manipulates everyone!"
"And yet, here you are, dressed like your master." Amity said, her voice cracking, "I trusted you... and now I'm an orphan."
"Orphan? Master? Amity, please listen to me. None of this is true!" Luz said to her.
"No! I'm done, listening to you!" Amity shouted, pointing her staff at Luz.
Amity used her Abomination goo and lunged at Luz, who barely dodged.
"I... I don't want to do this Amity!" Luz said, before barely dodging another attack, "Okay, I warned you! WEH!"
Nothing happened.
"W-w-what happened to my powers!?"
Luz dodged another attack from Amity... barely, she got a cut on the side of her face. She felt blood run down her cheek and tapped it, seeing red blood.
"W-w-what?" Luz asked, before quickly getting on her staff and flying away from Amity.
"I won't let you get away!" Amity shouted, riding a wave of abomination goo to follow!
Amity kept firing more goo at Luz as spears, forcing her to dodge them as she kept flying away!
'This isn't right! Something is wrong! My blood is red, I've lost my Titan powers, and Amity says I'm worse than Belos?! What is going on?!' Luz thought in a small panic.
Luz was so out of it that she didn't realize she lost Amity, in fact... she lost the castle, she was flying through a forest.
She was just so focused looking around for someone, ANYONE, that could help her stop Amity before she has to hurt her! Eventually, her wish came true as she saw-
"WILLOW!" Luz said, landing before her friend as she sat before a tree. "Willow I need your help! Something weird is going on and-"
Luz stopped talking when she finally took a look at her surroundings, realizing that she was now in a forest. Not just any forest, but the same forest from when she and Amity went into Willow's mind to fix her memories.
'Wait, how did I get here? Wasn't I just in that castle?' Luz thought, becoming even more confused then before.
"You know, Luz, my life changed after I met you. I finally believed that there was this big, bright future ahead of myself." Willow said, standing up and turning to Luz with a plant in her hands, "But that didn't last long, did it?"
The plant disintegrates.
"You destroyed my home and any chance I had at happiness." Willow said, her eyes as dull and cold as Amity's. "I have no future now. NONE OF US DO!"
Willow's eyes turned green and vines erupted from the ground.
"Aaaah!" Luz screamed, taking a step back as the vines pointed down at her!
Acting fast and without much thought, Luz vanished in a purple flash and teleported 10 feet away from Willow! Shocked and amazed by this, Luz quickly got back on her staff and flew away as Willow rode her wave of plants to chase after her!
"What is going on!?" Luz asked, "Where even am I?!"
Luz looked back to see Willow getting closer before she suddenly spun Stringbean to form a spell circle!
'Sorry about this, Willow!' Luz thought, casting a light spell!
A blinding light flashed between them, Willow's scream was heard as Luz covered her own eyes from the light.
Luz used the chance to fly away. She didn't want to fight her friends, and she knew her friends were strong enough to kill her if they fought her, and she didn't have her titan powers right now, so she was at her weakest.
'How am I gonna get out of here?' Luz thought before suddenly the first faded away and she was left in a dark void.
"Huh? What is happening?" Luz asked as she landed on the "ground."
A bright light shined on Luz, revealing her to be on a stage.
"Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Luz Noceda! The person who is responsible for all of this!" A voice shouted over a microphone.
"Gus?!" Luz asked, recognizing the voice as she covered her eyes.
"Let's give her a big round of applause, she showed up and helped everyone... all to gain our trust and stab us in the back." Gus said.
A crowd was heard booing as Luz uncovered her eyes, seeing she was now at the school and it was Grom again?
"It's because of her that everything and everyone we loved is gone." Gus said, wearing a blue tux, as he appeared beside her.
He glared at Luz with the same dull and cold eyes as Willow and Amity.
"Gus, no, I... I swear, I'll fix this, I'll find a way to get everyone back, I promise we'll get everyone back."
"Tell that to him!" Gus said, pushing Luz off the stage.
The world changed and she landed on the roof of the castle. Luz looked around in a huff, wondering who or what she would see in this messed up nightmare! That was the only way to describe this place, being a nightmare Luz could never wake up from!
She stood up and saw the former bad but sad boi.
"Hunter?"
He was facing away from her, looking at a giant statue of Flapjack.
"You know something, Flapjack was my best friend, the one that gave me a true purpose, a life of my own, and now... he's gone... because you helped Belos." Hunter said, turning to her, tears running down his face, "He put his trust in you, we all did, and look what happened! Everything you touch dies... you never should've come here... you never should've been born. You ruin everything."
The others appeared in front of Hunter, with Amity at the front.
"I'm sorry, Luz."
"No... please." Luz said, as blood still ran down her cut.
"But for everyone you've hurt... we have to take you down." Amity said, before her, Willow, and Gus lunged at her.
Luz didn't want to do this... but she had no choice but to fight her friends.
