*TW: Held Captive, Drugging, SA, Torture*

This chapter may be hard to read for some. It is graphic in nature on sensitive subjects and you are free to skip. This chapter is simply showing what happened between the end of the last chapter and the start of the next. Feel free to skip.

Time was lost. Eva could no longer keep track of when something happened. Like clockwork, she was forced to take a pill to keep her within HER power, slowly chipping away at Eva's mind so that only what SHE allowed remained.

Eva had maybe three hours where her mind was clear and she was herself. Like she lived in an asylum, which looked like a spa retreat, Eva received the pills from a "window" while her mind was still clouded enough to not question HER. So, she took them every day.

She sat on the edge of the bed, waiting, trying to get her jumbled mind to fall in line. She wanted out, but it seemed near impossible. Her desire to escape had all but been drained from her. Eva needed to go through what she could remember. God, her head was fogging over. She needed to keep only the important memories safe. Well, the ones she still had.

During the first month…

The sound of the Bifrost could be heard. Eva ran to the bars as Nat left her. The redhead ran to a window on the ground floor to see a familiar green-clad man looking around, his back to the cabin. Equipped with devices to stop the Scarlet Witch, Nat took a power dampener with her.

Her training allowed her to overpower the good and place the large collar on his neck. He turned in time to be knocked out. When he awoke, Eva was looking at him in tears.

"What happened?" he demanded.

"She got you, too," Eva whispered. " Who are you?"

"I am Loki, of Asgard."

"I'm Evelyn. Please say someone else is coming to rescue-"

Loki looked at her clothes and then his own. Nothing more than rags, thin and meant to demean them both. Nat walked in. Eva shrunk into a far corner. She may frighten the mortal, Loki thought, but not a God.

Days went by as Eva was forced to watch. Loki had tried to use his powers, but the dampener only let him read minds and take on Eva's pain. The Widow had stolen his powers and his strength. He was no better than a mortal with the collar on, and she made sure he knew it.

But this day, she came to talk to him. She sat in front of him, giving him a sense of Deja Vu. However, this time, she was darker, more menacing. Where was this woman when he tried to take over New York?

"You will help me, Loki," she said plainly, "or I'll turn you over to Thor."

He decided to call her bluff and replied, "I'd rather die in an Asgardian cell than help you!" His mind was clear now, and he knew what people like her wanted. "I will not turn her into your personal puppet!"

Nat rolled her eyes. "And who would Thor believe? You, a known liar, or me, an Avenger?"

He knew he couldn't deny it. But the scars on his body, new and old, told him he was strong. She hadn't killed him yet, so she needed him. He would bide his time.

"I won't help you," he said, making his stand though he could see the Widow didn't like that, "but your other prisoner, I will help her. Now, take the power dampener-"

She glared at him and stood, responding, "It stays on or I kill you now."

Nat left. Loki sunk to the floor. Eva crawled to him, her back to his through the bars. She felt her shaking and he knew what was to come. He endured it once from a being a thousand times stronger than the mortal. He could do it again.

Around the third or fourth month…

Eva sat on her mat. She and Loki had lost the right to cots a long time ago. Loki sat, tied and waiting, just as she did. Eva tried to keep the sack their tormentor dared to call a dress from exposing her core. They could already hear the devil woman coming and neither dared to move.

Nat walked in, opened the door to Eva's door, and yanked her head back by her hair. Eva didn't so much as gasp anymore. It only served to make things worse.

"Why won't you love me?" the Widow asked, just like she had every day for the past month.

Eva glared at her captor and said, "Maybe because you're the crazy bitch who kidnapped me!"

Loki chuckled and said, "She's not wrong."

Without warning, Eva was pushed onto the ground. Nat was over her and getting close to Eva's face.

"I will make you love me," she whispered, her hand traveling up Eva's leg.

The blond screamed out when the other woman's fingers forced their way inside of her. Loki had to look away.

Sometime during the eighth month…

Nat glared at her prisoners and asked, "Why would you try to escape? Again?"

"To get out," Eva answered. "Why else?"

Nat knelt before Eva, tears in her eyes. "Why would you want to leave? Don't I love you enough, любовь - love?" A dark look came over her. "Time for you to be punished."

With that, the toys came out. Nat readied them, putting the strap-on around her before forcing Eva to accept her. Eva tried to fight, but her strength was limited. Loki was gagged but he screamed around it. Then, a second set of footsteps came in. Eva couldn't see, but the sounds coming from Loki told her he was also being used because they had looked for a way to get out again. Both were crying as pain wracked their bodies.

Month six maybe…

They were moved to a single cell. It was cleaning day. Eva was curled up in the corner, waiting for Loki to be brought back. He was unceremoniously tossed inside and didn't move. Eva waited until they were alone to look at his wounds.

"Don't," Loki cried, not looking up when her hand touched his arm. "Please, I can't go again."

"Shh," Eva soothed. "It's me."

He looked at her then before hugging her and crying into her chest. "I couldn't breathe again. It hurt so much, Eva. I couldn't see him, but he…"

"No, don't. Please." Her tears splashed onto one of the bite marks on his alabaster skin. "I can see what he did. I know. You don't need to say it, Mischief."

Perhaps the first or second month…

"I'll get us out, Eva," Loki promised. "But you need to trust me.

Eva looked at the man in the cell next to hers. He had told her everything. The brainwashing, the torture by a purple being, everything he did to his brother, and how he tried to take over Asgard and later New York. It wasn't a record that inspired trust.

"Do I have much choice, Mischief?" she asked.

"I'm afraid not," he answered.

Like they had many times, they sat back to back. At first, it was for comfort. Now, it was to keep an eye out while one of them tried to sleep. Both had scars on their bodies that ached. When she reached back to take his hand, he gripped it in return and Loki burst into tears. That's all it took. He had a friend in this hell. He heard her sniffle. She felt the same. Gods help them, she felt the same.

Sometime during the twelfth month…

Nat beat Eva, weakening her as blood dripped from her mouth. The poison was not killing her at the moment. Nat kept sticking her with needles every day to inject something new. Nothing worked. There was one last thing she had to try, but she needed Eva unable to break free.

"Why don't you two ever learn?" the redhead asked, picking up a syringe, making Eva stiffen in fear. "I was wanting this to be a gift, but now," she glared at the blond woman strapped to the chair before her, "Loki won't stop the pain."

Eva couldn't move, and she tried. Nat stuck it into the crook of her elbow and injected the bluish-green liquid. She pulled Eva's head back as fire raced through her veins.

Nat said through gritted teeth, "You. Are. Mine."

Nat let go and left the room to check on Loki. Eva felt as if she were burning from the inside out. She screamed, fought the restraints, and begged for it to stop. Loki cried as he sat in the corner of his cell. I"m so sorry, Evelyn.

Nat walked in and said, "Quite putting ideas into her head, you pathetic sack of shit! This is your fault!"

Loki pulled up his knees and tried to hold back to sobs wracking his body. Nat chuckled when she saw. She opened the cell, dragged him out, and threw him into a barrel of water that was overflowing. She closed the lid and watched her favorite show. Always bringing him back from death, from that edge of escape, was the past time she loved most.

Maybe the day after in the twelfth month…

Eva calmly walked into her cell and knelt on her mat. Loki hadn't looked at her yet.

"I know every attempt has failed," he said, rubbing his face, "and if I had my powers we'd be free, but-"

"Why would I want to leave the woman I love?" Eva replied, her voice sounding fake.

Loki looked at Eva, tears forming. "What did she do to you?"

"Natty gave me some super soldier serum mixed with your blood to counteract the quantum poisoning. Oh, and something to make me complacent. Why?"

Loki slid to the ground. The Widow had brainwashed Eva, his only friend. The emotions in him were too much and he screamed out. The person in front of him, because he refused to call her Eva, simply smiled at him like a dead doll

This morning…

Eva moved through the "safe" halls to Loki. She could roam now, but escape was still dangerous. They had only a short time before the drugs kicked in again. They made their way to the computer room. Eva developed powers months ago, after the injection of serum and Loki's blood. He taught her what he could and she kept them hidden from HER.

In return for the magic lessons, she taught him how to use the computer. She would have done it, but she was still affected by the pills she took and couldn't use it. Loki had no such limitations. Eva was just glad SHE didn't say no to letting Loki out.

"I did it," he said, though even he was unsure if what he sent out would work. "Maybe the Avengers will take the bait."

She gave him a look that showed their shared fight against giving up as she said, "I hope so, Mischief." Hope… such a foreign concept now. "These moments between being drugged-"

He took her hand. "I know. I'm sorry I couldn't stop it, Eva."

She gave him a hard look. "Get the Avengers here and I'll show her the monster she created."

He gave her a dark smile, but he didn't feel it anymore after so many failed attempts at getting out. "Sounds fun. Allow me to join in."

Eva gasped, her eyes glowed a bright green, and she stood stiff. Her powers were going to overload if she didn't use them. Thinking fast, she touched the cables to the computer and sent power through it, adding more incentive.

Back to the present.

Over a year, held captive by HER. How much more could she and Loki endure? Then, the meds started working and her mind became fuzzy once more. I hope Natty returns home soon. I ache for her.

In came the Widow that now controlled Eva's mind. She smiled and put her things away as Eva waited patiently. The redhead took Eva's hand and pulled her flush against her, kissing her.

When Nat pulled back, she said, "Hello, любовь - love. I missed you. How have you been since my last visit?"

Programmed to only answer the way Nat dictated, Eva replied, "I've been so, so, so good." She began to remove her clothing in a seductive manner, making Nat's eyes darken. "I need you, Natty. Please?"

Nat smiled. "Always so eager for me."

Nat began kissing Eva's neck, her hand traveling down. The redhead inserted two fingers and Eva instantly started riding them, gasping and moaning loudly. Another program, one that solely benefited the Widow and forced Eva's body to comply. Nat would use Eva's body for hours and Eva, unable to go against "Natty," would act in a shameless manner.

However, Eva's forced O echoed through the underground prison, and a voice soon followed.

"Evelyn!" it called out, the sound familiar.
