"And who are you two? You seem different from the normal sector security losers we've encountered so far" Natsume said
"Ouch, it seems you don't hold us in high regard. Nonetheless I suppose an introduction is in order. I am Iwai Tadashi"
"And I am Uyeno Mamoru. We're among the higher echelon of sector security so better watch that tone that you're using" he said visibly angry
"Come now Mamoru, there's no need for hostility, I'm sure these people will have no issue working with us. Once they're back in our headquarters we can get all the information we need" Tadashi said with a smile
Did he really believe that we would just follow him blindly or was he just playing around? Well sadly there was no way around this.
I turned to Natsume who nodded, confirming that she was prepared for conflict.
"We aren't going with you two nor are we going to let you take our friends" I proclaimed
"So it's come to this"-Tadashi seemed disappointed for a moment though he returned to his happy disposition-"Well this wasn't unexpected, let's hope you two at least put up a good fight. After all I do dislike a one sided battle"
He activated his duel disk prompting his partner to do the same.
"Since there's two of you and two of us I say we have a tag duel to get things done quick" Tadashi said
"Sure, what rules are we going with?" I asked
"Each team shares their field's and graveyards along with a combined total life points of 8000. You can use cards set by your opponent and vice-versa, though you cannot special summon from your opponent's extra deck. That's all" he said
Nothing too complicated.
"Fine let's begin" I said as I activated my duel disk
Natsume proceeded to do the same, signaling the start of the duel.
Yuzu, who had been watching over Raizen and Ruri shouted out "Good luck"

"I'll try to get this duel over as fast as possible, Draw!" Natsume said as she drew

"I activate the continuous spell, Fire Formation-Tenki. When it's activated, its effect allows me to add a level 4 or lower beast-warrior monster to my hand, I'll add Fire Fist-Ram"
"Then I'll normal summon Ram(Atk-800). On normal summon I activate its effect and discard Fire Fist Rooster to set Fire Formation Tensu to my field directly from my deck"
"Now I'll activate the Fire Formation Tensu I just set. Its effect allows me to normal summon an additional beast warrior monster and so I'll normal summon Fire Fist-Spirit(Atk-500)"
"When Spirit is normal summoned it's effect allows me to special summon a fire monster with less than 200 defense from my graveyard. So I'll use its effect to special summon the Rooster(Atk-1500) I previously discarded"
"So you've got three level 3 monsters. I think I have an idea of what comes next"-Tadashi
"Well you're right, a synchro summon is my best option right now. But before that since Rooster was special summoned due to a fire fist's effect I get to add a fire fist from my deck, I choose Elephant"
Natsume paused for a moment, then clenched her fists and spoke
"Now I tune my level 3 Spirit with my level 3 Ram. Rise from the inferno,the horseman who manipulates the flames of fate! Synchro Summon! Appear Lvl-6 Brotherhood of the Fire Fist-Horse Prince"

The flaming beast tamed by the Fire Fist Warrior appeared on the field surrounded by flames blazing ever so bright.
Tadashi smiled while Mamoru wasn't impressed.
"Not a bad synchro summon to start us off with"-Tadashi
"Thanks for the praise but I don't think you'll be able to handle the heat coming your way. Thanks to Horse Prince's effect I can special a level 3 beast-warrior from my deck so I'll summon another Rooster(Atk-1500)"
"Battle phase! Horse Prince(2200) attacks Joan(1900)"
Tadashi/ Mamoru 8000 LP→7700 LP
The warrior raced on its flaming steed until it reached its opponent. The beast used its flaming hooves to deliver an attack which should have destroyed Joan. But she stood strong, her equipped sword providing a layer of protection from the horse's flaming strikes.
"Surprised? Let me explain, Noble Arms of Destiny when equipped prevents a monster from being destroyed by battle or effect once per turn. So it seems my Joan won't be destroyed this turn"
"Ugh fine. I set two cards and end my turn"
"You should've done more, now you're going to regret it"-Mamoru said, his eyes burned with rage
This guy really wouldn't like entertainment dueling.
"Just get started with your turn"-Natsume
"Fine, be sure to not pass out from fear, I draw!" He shouts as he grasps his card and smiles
Turn 3-Mamoru Hand-6
"I normal summon Noble Knight Brothers(Atk-1200). Since he was normal summoned I get to special summon two more Noble Knight, come to the field Noble knight Borz(Atk-1700) and Infernoble knight Ricciardetto(Atk-500)
"But that's not all, since I control a fire warrior monster I can special summon Infernoble knight Renaud and he's treated as a tuner"
"With this my field is set and it's time I return your display of synchro summoning with my own. Prepare yourselves!" He said as he glared at us before turning his attention back to the duel
"I tune my level 1 Renaud with my Level 4 Borz"
Blazing flames enveloped the two monsters, a bright light followed by intense heat makes it hard to follow the ensuing summon.
"Blazing commander, subdue these wicked criminals, make them face the light of justice. Synchro Summon! Appear Lvl 5 Infernoble knight Captain Oliver(Atk-2000)"
A pale skinned man with two flame covered swords appeared onto the field as the intense light from before finally dispersed. The swords were covered in red-crimson flames.
"Too bad for you I'm not going to stop there. My Ricciardetto is also a tuner. So I'll tune my level 1 Ricciardetto and my Level 4 Noble Knight brothers"
"Warrior of burning might, take to the field and purify these sinners with your immolating flames. Synchro Summon! Appear Lvl 5 Captain Roland(Atk-2000)"
A warrior appeared with a longsword held in both its arms. It's sword burnt with a flaming yellow sheen unlike Captain Oliver.
"When Captain Roland is summoned his effect activates, though it will resolve during the end phase so you don't have to worry about that too much"
"Even though you managed to synchro summon neither of your monsters have enough attack to get over my Horse Prince"
"Not yet, that is. I equip the spell, Noble Knight Caliburn, to my Captain Oliver. With this he gains 500 attack"

Oliver rushes towards Rooster with his flaming red swords in hand.
"You might be wondering why I'm not attacking your Horse Prince, that's because my monster has an effect. When it battles an opponent's monster while equipped I can choose to destroy a card on the field that's face up, so say goodbye to your Horse Prince"
"Well it seems Horse Prince will be destroyed but he won't be going without inflicting some damage. I activate my continuous Trap card, Backfire"-Natsume
"And what does that card do?"-Mamoru
"Whenever a fire monster I control is destroyed you take 500 damage"
Horse Prince was subsequently destroyed due to Captain Oliver's effect.
"Gah"-Mamoru cursed as he and Tadashi were enveloped in a flaming pillar
Tadashi/Mamoru 8200 LP→7700 LP
"Not bad. But a little bit of damage isn't going to stop me, it's time I return some of this pain. Captain Oliver(2500) attack Rooster(1500)"
Oliver's flaming blades sliced clean through Rooster sending slashes of fire at us
Yuya/Natsume 8000 LP→7000 LP
But due to backfire he was burnt too.

"And now Captain Roland(2000) destroy the remaining Rooster(1500)"
Captain Roland slashed at Rooster, sending out red-crimson flames at us.

And like before backfire dealt them damage too.

"Now since your field is cleared I'll be attacking directly. Go Joan! Joan's effect activates reducing her attack by 300 when she attacks"

Covered by a holy aura Joan strikes us directly with her metal gauntlets, almost knocking us to the ground.

"That does seem to be the case, shame I couldn't damage you more. But for now I'll end my turn, during my end phase Captain Roland's effect activates allowing me to send an equip spell from my deck to add a warrior from my deck to my hand"
"I send Noble Arms-Clarent to add Noble Knight Artorigus to my hand. Go ahead and begin your turn"
"I wish we could have a friendlier duel but sadly it seems you two aren't going to listen to reason" I said
"We're just treating you like the criminals you are, maybe begin by showing some respect to us? Then we'll consider it"-Mamoru
"You heard the man, ready to surrender yet?"-Tadashi said with a calm expression
"Far from it, I just wanted to make sure you two don't regret what comes next, I draw!"

"I am, you're about to see a new type of summoning that you've never witnessed before. But first I'll activate the effect of my Monkeyboard which allows me to add a level 4 or lower Performapal from my deck to my hand, I'll add Performapal Coin Dragon"
"Now using my scale 1 Performapal Monkeyboard and my scale 8 Performapal Classikuriboh I can special summon monsters from level 2 to 7"

"Oh I feel just fine"
Mamoru looks towards Odd eyes who's still on the field.
"What? How is your Odd Eyes still here?"-Mamoru
"That's because of the effect of Coin Dragon, it prevents my dragon type monsters from being destroyed. Go Odd Eyes Spiral Strike!"
Odd eyes burning breath surged forward destroying Captain Oliver.
"That's not all, since your monster had a level above 5 you take twice the damage"

"But wait, I'm not done. Fire mufflerlion's effect activates. Since a pendulum monster destroyed your monster it can attack again and it gains 200 attack points in this battle phase"

Odd eyes rushed forward and mauled Captain Roland until it was destroyed.
"And you take twice the damage you've been dealt"

"From my graveyard I activate the effect of my Captain Roland, I equip him to Joan increasing her attack by 500 points making my monster the stronger one"

I clenched my hands in pain as our life points dropped.
"When a pendulum monster is destroyed it heads to my extra deck face Coin Dragon is no longer on the field Odd eyes loses the 500 attack point boost and it also loses it's 200 points from mufferlion as the battle phase ends"
