I own the story and Luke, not his powers nor the girls, DC Rules!
"So, you're telling me... I died?" Luke asked, his confusion evident, as the girls calmed down and Diana recounted what had transpired.
"In a way, yes," Wonder Woman stated plainly.
The group huddled together, needing a lengthy discussion to process the astonishing feat the only boy among them had just performed. They were shocked at how he had defied death and resurrected from the grave. It might have seemed like an exaggeration, but given what they had witnessed, who could blame them?
"Okay, first, I didn't actually die," Luke began, concerned about how the girls were taking the news. "And second, didn't I tell you all that I am resistant to any and all injuries?"
"But... we practically saw you explode into a million pieces!" Batgirl exclaimed, a mix of hyperventilation and joy at seeing Luke alive and intact. The others shared her worry.
Luke was touched by their concern. Apart from his Mom, no one else had shown much care for his well-being in years. Although he believed he deserved to be an outcast from society, he returned his focus to his current predicament.
"Girls, there's no need to worry," he tried to console them.
"How can we not be worried? We basically witnessed you die!" Green Lantern shouted, apprehension giving way to a sense of discontent.
"Why didn't you mention anything about being okay after blowing up?" Zatanna chimed in, visibly distraught. It was an experience she hoped never to go through again.
Bumblebee attempted to contribute to the wave of displeasure but was still taken aback from the earlier shock.
Luke did his best, but it seemed he was struggling to respond to the girls and comfort Batgirl, who still had a hold on him. Patting her back in an attempt to comfort the girl most affected by his reckless stunt.
"Listen, it's not as simple as that. I didn't even know I could do something like that," Luke explained, hoping to ease the girls' agitation, though they seemed increasingly worried by his revelation.
"YOU DIDN'T KNOW?!" Most of them exclaimed in unison, with a couple of exceptions. After several minutes of bickering, a dozen or so apologies, and promises to make things right, the group settled down and returned to their previous state.
Diana saw an opportune moment to break the awkward atmosphere and chimed in.
"Brother Luke, it's clear you still don't fully trust us. May I ask what's bothering you?" Wonder Woman addressed the rest of the group, noting the tension easing.
Understanding her perspective, Luke attempted to deny it, but the persistent gazes of the others made it futile. They needed to know what he was hiding, even if revealing it might jeopardize his safety. He decided to lay his cards on the table to avoid another round of emotional turmoil.
"Look, it's not that simple. I've practiced and experimented with my powers for a while, but that doesn't mean I know all the ins and outs of it, alright?" He fidgeted, feeling uneasy about being so vulnerable.
A day earlier, he would have dismissed the idea of sharing his insecurities, but now he felt a responsibility toward the girls. Plus, he was partly to blame for their distress earlier. "If we're going to work together, you deserve to know."
Batgirl, finally releasing her grip on Luke, although she missed the feel of his broad shoulders and strong figure beneath the red fabric, stammered to offer solace.
"Why didn't you say so? We can help you explore the secrets of your powers," she suggested, supported by the others. They were giving him a chance, and it didn't mean they wouldn't show their support for a friend.
Luke hesitated, about to decline their kind offer, but Diana interjected. "An excellent proposition, sister. I believe it's time to resume our training immediately." She continued, glancing at Luke as she pointed out another pressing matter.
"But first, Brother Luke..." Luke eyed her suspiciously at her tone.
"I believe something else requires your immediate attention," Diana pointed out.
Following her gaze, Luke saw Supergirl's downcast form, a metaphorical gray cloud hovering above her. Realizing that Diana meant for him to offer comfort to the usually tough girl, he sighed. "Yeah, I'll take care of it."
The other girls watched as Luke approached Kara, who clung to herself, tears flowing as cryptic voices echoed in her mind. She felt a presence drawing near, she knew who it was, and despite the turmoil he had caused her, he was determined to provide solace and reassurance. "Hey... You, uh, doing okay?" Kara didn't reply as she kept her head down low.
"If you're still fixated on the 'you killing me' part, then, um..." Luke took a deep breath, imagining a scenario that could mend the situation.
"Let's just forget about it, alright? You can't kill me even if you tried, Blondie." He attempted to inject some humor as he consoled the dejected girl.
"I mean, I've stubbed my toe harder than that. If anything, your punches were like a light massage." His smile was awkward, and the others nearby cringed slightly at his attempt at a joke. It wasn't the worst, but it certainly wasn't the best.
"Come on, where's the woman who could give WoWo over there a run for her money? How about the girl who swooped in when her friend was in danger?" His words finally reached her, and she raised her head to meet his gaze.
"That was before the girl murdered someone with her own hands." She replied. It was nice of him to console her. But it didn't fully repel all the staggering thoughts that kept plaguing her mind.
"Nah, Supergirl ain't a murderer. At best, she was just a thug." Luke nudged her, appealing as best as he can to lift her mood.
"Not helping." Green Lantern whispered from the distance.
"Look, the point is. It was my fault, alright? I should've told you guys about that part of my powers, but I still had reservations about this unique clique of ours." He admitted as the others also felt that they may have rushed this team, mostly stemming from the fact that Wonder Woman and Batgirl brought them together.
"It still doesn't make me feel better about what I did. You may be a dweeb, but I'm sure no one would want to go through all that." Supergirl said, as she felt herself becoming depressed. She was supposed to be a tough girl for drying out loud. Kara Danvers wasn't a crybaby, but she sure was feeling like it now.
Luke began hesitating, he wasn't used to all this mushy stuff, but he was pretty if anyone was gonna knock some sense into this chick it would be him. 'Maybe I should a try different approach?'
"Eh, can't say I blame you. I mean, that punch did sting a little." His words only confirmed her fears, as she groaned and felt even more distressed than before.
"But it was absolutely awesome!"
'Huh?' She felt disoriented, as do the others. They did not just hear him say that getting punched and exploding into a million pieces was 'awesome.' But this was Luke they were talking about. He was as unpredictable as they come.
"Getting gutted like that was something I haven't left since I became like this. So that was an impressive feat, Supergirl. You're cool in my book." Okay, where exactly was he going with this?
"And I, uh, Oh- forget it! Look, stop being depressed already! You're Supergirl for crying out loud! You care for your friends even when you don't show it, and I find that admirable. We may haven't met at a good start, but from what I've seen of you so far. You're already a hero according to me." Luke just snapped, trying to finally get this whole awkward conversation over with. Maybe he should've been direct from the start instead of being relatable.
"And don't forget how you—" he pointed at her, their eyes locking. "Earned my respect. If anyone can hit as hard as you to me, then I find that impressive. So why keep moping? Let's get back on track, alright?" He finished, hoping that he finally got through to her. For Luke, he seemed to deflate from all the talking and insecurities leaking out.
In a matter of moments, a smile graced her lips, her mood lifting. With an eye roll, she replied, "Never took you for the emotional type, loser." Luke returned her amusement with a grin of his own, not minding the playful insult at the moment. Thankful that he got the job done.
"I'm not, but maybe just this once, I'll let it slide." Luke extended his hand to help her up, and she accepted, resolving the underlying tension between them. Supergirl's demeanor brightened, and she returned to her tough exterior.
Diana and the rest of the group joined them, offering their own words of comfort. Congratulating Luke and reassuring Kara.
"Nevertheless, he's right, Supergirl. There's no need to feel down about an accident. Luke says he's fine, and that's what matters," Wonder Woman reassured her.
"Yeah, you couldn't have known that was going to happen. Besides, if anything, Luke should've mentioned he could do that before this whole mess," Batgirl chimed in, receiving a playful glare from Luke. While he hadn't intentionally kept that detail from them, he realized she had a point.
"Though, it was definitely a bit extreme for my taste. As long as everyone's okay, that's what counts," Green Lantern added.
"Calling that display extreme would be an understatement," Zatanna interjected. "I think it'll take a while for any of us to fully recover from the sight of Luke's remains scattered all over this junkyard."
"I agree, it was pretty terrifying. But we'll be fine," Bumblebee confirmed, having recovered from her earlier shock.
"Thanks, guys. I'll work on getting better. Maybe then, I can avoid another accident like this," Supergirl smiled, relieved that these "weirdos" might be more tolerable than she initially thought. She decided it was best to avoid using that term if she was giving the team a genuine chance.
Luke sighed, glad that things had returned to normal. He hoped for a less eventful near future, but he knew they would face challenges when they came. For now, he realized that spending time like this with the team might not be so bad. That is until Batgirl brought up a topic he might regret acknowledging.
"By the way, what was that nickname you used for Wonder Woman, Luke?" Batgirl inquired, as the others also became curious about the moniker he had given the tall heroine.
"Yes, what is this 'WoWo' you mentioned?" Diana questioned, not quite understanding the reference and turning to her teammates for clarification.
"It's nothing! Really, it's nothing. Can we just get back to whatever we came here to do?" Luke attempted to divert their attention, hoping to avoid that particular conversation. They'll probably won't let him live it down for that one. He's pretty sure they already see him as someone cold but actually sensitive deep down.
"Very well, let's proceed with our training," Diana concluded, and the team settled in.
Gathering their bearings, they once again faced the resolute woman, lined up and standing before her.
"Soldiers, now that we're back on track, let me regale you of our mission: to save the world of man!" Luke couldn't help but be impressed by her natural leadership, especially with Batgirl's unwavering support.
"That's right!"
"In order to do this..."
"Preach it, sister!"
"We must learn to save man himself." Diana presented an array of feminine-shaped mannequins before the group. As Bee pointed out their ladylike forms, Luke couldn't help but think that Diana was indeed picking up on their quirks.
"She's learning." Green Lantern stated, her lips curling into a small smile.
"Luke, given your capabilities in a fight, let's see you in action!" Wonder Woman's voice rang out as she hurled a wheel cover towards a mound of crushed cars. The pile teetered and threatened to tumble onto the propped-up dummies, and Luke had only a fraction of a second to react before he sprang into action to rescue the plastic citizens.
"You've got to be kidding me. Next time, give me a heads-up!" He shouted, an annoyed undertone coloring his voice as he maneuvered to save the inanimate 'lives.'
'How ridiculous, but I suppose an actual hero would prioritize saving the people first.' Luke thought, a hint of irony in his inner monologue, as he propelled himself towards the scene.
He stretched his arms to secure the model figures with a firm grip. Swiftly analyzing the debris's trajectory, he deftly contorted his body, evading the descending wreckage. Ensuring the safety of the mannequins, he zigzagged through the debris, using his powers to create extra appendages, effectively deflecting the onslaught.
As the final cars crashed down, he observed a new challenge approaching - a bundle of debris hurtling directly at him. Realizing evasion was futile, Luke used his powers creatively, enveloping the dummies within a protective dome formed by his own body. A cacophony of noise and a cloud of dust followed the impact, leaving the girls watching with bated breath as the scene unfolded.
A muffled grunt resonated from within the wreckage, and an annoyed Luke emerged, slightly disheveled yet victorious. The plastic models were safe in his arms as he gently set them down, his breathing slightly labored from the exertion.
"Woohoo! That was incredible! The way you zoomed all around, and stretched yourself, then you did one thing and another, and that move you did—my mind is blown!" Batgirl gushed in amazement, her words tumbling out in a flurry of excitement.
"I have to agree with Babs. Luke, that was beyond impressive. You certainly had us all on the edge of our seats," Green Lantern added, genuine admiration in her voice.
"Indeed, that was quite the spectacle. I daresay you've been holding back," Zatanna commented, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"I haven't been holding back; it's just a new experience for me," Luke responded, modesty and a hint of discomfort in his tone.
"Regardless, that was quite the extraordinary feat," Bumblebee chimed in, her smile genuine.
"Thanks, I suppose," Luke mumbled, a faint blush tinting his cheeks. He wasn't accustomed to receiving compliments, and the attention made him slightly self-conscious.
"Nice job, twerp," Supergirl said in her usual gruff tone, though there was a hint of approval in her voice. Luke nodded in acknowledgment, understanding that her unique way of showing appreciation was her own version of a compliment.
"Marvelous work, my friend. You've once again proven your mettle," Wonder Woman remarked, offering a firm pat on his back. With that, her attention shifted to the rest of the team. "Now, it's your turn!"
In a mirror image of Luke's scenario, Wonder Woman arranged another stack of discarded cars beside a group of mannequins. Supergirl positioned herself amidst the dummies as Wonder Woman gave the pile a push, sending it crashing toward both the figurines and the superpowered heroine. Just as Luke had demonstrated his powers, Supergirl opted for a more direct approach, channeling her strength and speed into a single powerful punch.
The impact unleashed a shockwave that dispersed the majority of the rusted vehicles, and Supergirl's triumphant smile suggested a small measure of friendly rivalry. But as she turned to the group, anticipating praise for her impressive display, she was met with expressions of concern and disapproval. Luke, understanding her intention to outshine him, couldn't help but grin, recognizing the playful competitiveness they shared.
With a touch of irony, he pointed towards the 'citizens' she was meant to protect. Supergirl followed his gesture and grimaced at the sight of the crushed plastic figurines beneath the debris caused by her overzealous action. The other girls could only shake their heads and sigh in disappointment, her eagerness having led to unintended consequences.
Taking a break from their rigorous training session, the group decided to resume their mission of teaching Diana the ways of a typical, unassuming teenager. Once again, they found themselves at the Metropolis Mall, standing outside a bustling comic book store. With their mission in mind, Babs took charge.
"Here we are! Pay attention, Diana, because this is where we impart Normal Teenager Lesson #4: Pop Culture!"
Amidst the playful banter that followed, Zee couldn't help but express her skepticism, "Really? Is this what you consider culture?" Her quizzical tone held a hint of amusement as Babs excitedly led the way into the store.
Unbeknownst to the group, Luke was already engrossed in a selection of comics, a content smile gracing his lips as he delved into the latest release of his favorite series.
Conversations flowed within the store until Babs stumbled upon a comic that left her practically breathless. "O-M-No way! An incredibly rare limited edition Batman comic with pull-out posters. I'd kill for this!" She exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with fervor. Diana, ever the moral compass, grasped Babs' shoulders with a gentle but earnest touch.
"Sister, have you not learned? We mustn't resort to senseless violence for material possessions. Our duty is to protect the innocent, not harm them." Diana's shock at Babs' statement was quickly clarified by Jessica, who intervened, "It's alright, Diana. Barbara didn't mean it literally. It's just an expression, a figure of speech."
Exiting the store with Luke proudly clutching the comic he had purchased, the group continued their lesson. Luke remained engrossed in his reading, seemingly oblivious to the outside world as he immersed himself in the vivid pages and colorful narratives.
As an illustration, Jess offered, "For instance, if you're really hungry, you might say, 'I'd kill for a burrito.'" Her gesture pointed toward a burrito cart across the street. "Go on, give it a try." With a mischievous grin, she encouraged Diana to put her newfound knowledge into practice.
While Luke enjoyed his comic, he noticed Diana engaging in a rather intense conversation with a food cart vendor. She appeared to be making dramatic threats about taking lives for a taste of Mexican cuisine. The other girls hurriedly intervened to prevent any further escalation, and Luke couldn't help but interject to defuse the situation before things took a turn for the worse.
Next on the roster was Zatanna, who stepped into the spotlight to showcase her contribution to the team's dynamics. Her trial involved rescuing inanimate citizens from an impending car crusher. Pushed forward by Diana, Zatanna took flight and began casting her enchantments. Instead of directly saving the plastic dummies, she added her signature flair, conjuring a dazzling display of purple lights and magic.
The group watched in awe as Zatanna performed her theatrics, her magic weaving intricate patterns and radiant beams of purple energy. However, only Luke and Diana noticed the impending danger as the mannequins edged closer to the car crusher. In the midst of her performance, Zatanna's attention remained fixed on her magical display, unknowingly neglecting her primary task.
As the tension mounted, Zatanna introduced a purple orb into her act, juggling it with finesse and adding a touch of mystique to her routine. The climax of her performance saw the orb emitting a long, majestic purple tendril that gracefully flipped a switch, deactivating the machine. Her act concluded as Zatanna floated back to the ground, the applause of multiple conjured hands resounding in the air. Unbeknownst to her, the rest of the team exchanged wincing glances, aware of the unintended consequences.
The cheers faded as an elongated hand gently tapped Zatanna's shoulder, capturing her attention. Luke pointed to the squashed and cubically crushed dummies that had met their untimely demise long before Zatanna had halted the machine. Horrified, she absorbed the truth of the situation, her jubilant expression fading into realization. Batgirl offered a consoling word, yet the disappointment and disapproval in the eyes of her teammates were palpable.
Moving on, we see Supergirl gripping a chain that was holding back a barking Bulldog, with Green Lantern hesitantly tying a juicy steak on the head of another mannequin. She gagged before getting out of the way for Bumblebee to take center stage. The scenario appeared designed to test Bumblebee's courage, positioning her between the aggressive dog and the defenseless 'citizen.'
Upon Wonder Woman's signal, the group exchanged concerned glances for the petite Bumblebee. Summoning her resolve, she faced the canine threat, her figure bathed in a vibrant yellow glow as she shrunk down. A series of buttons revealed a mechanism on her back that resembled missile launchers, confirming an earlier discussion. Supergirl unleashed the dog, which eagerly lunged toward the tantalizing steak. Bumblebee attempted to launch her "rockets," but a spark was the only result. With the mutt closing in, she resorted to fleeing the scene, leaving the mannequin to suffer the consequences as the dog devoured the steak, leaving a messy aftermath.
Reacting to the situation, Bumblebee found herself on Luke's shoulders, succumbing to a fainting spell triggered by the sight. With a supportive touch, both Wonder Woman and Luke offered comfort to their overwhelmed teammate, gently tapping her back.
Taking a break from their intensive training, the group, along with Luke, sought refuge in a spa to continue Diana's crash course on being a typical teenager.
"Normal Teenager Lesson #26... What was this one again?" Babs inquired as she dipped her feet into the soothing waters.
Deciding on some well-deserved relaxation, Zee led the gang to a luxurious spa. Attentive staff tended to their various treatments and needs, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and pampering.
"We're indulging ourselves, girls. Our bodies are temples that deserve care and pampering," Zee declared as she reclined, donned in a bathing robe, and enjoyed a massage and nail treatment. Diana's considerable strength necessitated multiple staff members to keep her in place as they worked on her. Karen found herself getting her toenails done, while Jess opted to paint her own fingernails. Luke and Kara, meanwhile, lounged on a couch, their expressions a mix of boredom and fatigue. Unintentionally, they found themselves nodding off, their heads tilting until they were resting against each other. Fortunately, the girls were too preoccupied to notice this potentially awkward closeness.
"In the realm of mankind, are toenails truly so important?" Diana inquired.
"Absolutely. Don't you find it relaxing?" Zee replied, lifting one of the cucumbers placed over her eyes to engage in the conversation.
The focus shifted to the masseuse, who remarked, "This is one tough case of calluses. We'll have to bring out the big guns." She proceeded to employ a sanding tool to address the issue, prompting Diana to perceive it as a weapon.
"Weapon!" Diana exclaimed, brandishing her Lasso of Truth in preparation to engage the noisy contraption.
The terrified staff fled in response to Diana's perceived threat, abruptly ending their pampering session. The team swiftly intervened to prevent Diana from causing harm, with the commotion rousing both Kara and Luke from their inadvertent nap. Luke, aware of their compromising position, hastily sat up to avoid unnecessary attention and embarrassment. Kara laughed at the scene, while Luke rolled his eyes, chiding himself for getting caught in another awkward situation. Joining the others, they helped restrain Diana and de-escalated the situation.
Resuming their training, Batgirl was next in line to showcase her skills. Wonder Woman directed her attention to a multitude of mannequins strategically arranged around the area. In the distance, a plush cat doll perched on a barren tree branch, serving as a symbol of the challenge. Just as Wonder Woman was about to impart instructions, Batgirl's gaze was captivated by a passing butterfly. Entranced by its graceful dance on the wind, she marveled at its intricate patterns.
Wonder Woman snapped, tossing a handful of dirt to regain Batgirl's focus. Redirecting her attention to the arrangement of plastic citizens, Batgirl gave a thumbs-up before leaping into action.
Graceful and precise, Batgirl nimbly navigated the area, executing a series of flips, spins, and strikes. Her specialized bat-nades added an explosive flourish, culminating in a smoke-filled display of her prowess. With a triumphant cry, she concluded her routine, triumphantly displaying her handiwork to her teammates. Yet, their expressions were far from celebratory; Diana wore a stern look, while Luke buried his face in his palm.
Examining the aftermath, Batgirl realized the extent of her actions, the mannequins were either brutally dismembered or blown into pieces. She sheepishly inquired, "Uh, was I not supposed to take them out? Weren't they bad guys?"
"No," came Wonder Woman's curt response, leaving Batgirl with a sheepish grin.
Green Lantern stepped up for her turn, facing a group of mannequins assembled for her challenge. With an excavator claw at her disposal, Batgirl stood nearby, ready to intervene if necessary. Wonder Woman gestured for Green Lantern to prevent the machinery from harming the plastic citizens. Green Lantern defiantly refused, prompting a resigned shrug from Wonder Woman. Evidently, Green Lantern was free to approach the challenge in her own way.
Confident in her abilities, Green Lantern fashioned a containment field from emerald light, ensuring the safety of the mannequins. Placing them at a safe distance, she reveled in her success. As she prepared to bask in her triumph, Wonder Woman gestured to the scene beside her, revealing that the excavator had inadvertently crushed one of their teammates.
Green Lantern was about to panic for failing to save her teammate but realized that the machine clamped down on Luke which relieved the rest of the group. Knowing that he was gonna be fine. The excavator released its hold as Luke came out unscathed, baring a few holes in his body, but otherwise fine. He gave the girls a blank look as he reverted his body back to the way it was, as Wonder Woman scolded Green Lantern for her shortcomings.
"Sorry for that, Luke," Batgirl told her friend as he became whole again.
"It's fine, been through worse didn't I?" He added, as She agreed and let out a chuckle.
The gang found now found themselves in a movie theater. After the day they had, spending a few hours watching the cinema might do them some good.
"Normal Teenager Lesson #86: Romance," Barbara announced as she sat next to Diana while holding a bag of popcorn to enjoy. They voted on which movie to watch and it unanimously led to them watching a rom-com that was terribly-acted and seemed to drone on and on about something inane and dull. As the flick was nearing the end, most of the girls had teary eyes as the show began reaching its climax. Kara was already asleep a few minutes into the film, while Luke was sitting next to Zee to avoid another mishap with Blondie over at the other end. He considered going to sleep, but rather not risk another embarrassing situation as he was in before. Choosing to just bear with the cringy movie, he regretted it as he endured two hours of teens talking about their feelings and easily uncoverable misunderstandings.
"I never wanted to love her, Alexandra. But she's the most important thing to me now. The most important thing to me, ever. So why hasn't Caitlyn texted me?" The snores from Kara were evident, while Luke groaned at the dumb prospect of teens being teens.
"She just needs time, Aiden. It's only been two days. If she texts after three days, then that's irrevocable love." The girl on the screen told the boy, dragging the love part.
"What is happening?" Diana inquired, seemingly lost on what exactly she was being exposed to. Thankfully, Karen, who was an all-time follower of the movie, was quick to spell it out to her friend.
After a lengthy explanation about the exposition of what situation the movie characters got themselves into, Diana could only nod in response as she hardly understood anything that Karen told her.
"Teenage males are very confusing." She decided to roll with it.
"Tell me about it." The others agreed, with the only boy rolling his eyes.
Luke munched on his own popcorn to distract him, not noticing another hand reaching in for a quick snack. It was only when he grasped a soft and slender hand did he realize his mistake. Looking down, he saw that he was holding Zee's hand as she grabbed a few popped kernels. Her skin felt so smooth, and her hand felt small in his own as he held her in a protective manner. Zee, for her part, was flushed, as she retracted her hand in embarrassment. Looking away to avoid confrontation, the two couldn't ignore how they made eye contact, and a surge of unfamiliar emotions flooded within and jolted across their forms.
'Her hand was so soft and warm. No, stop thinking about it! Don't get attached to these girls, no matter how beautiful, cute, and sexy they are- AH!' He internally screamed as he tried to not think about being around these attractive women the whole day.
'His grip was so gentle.' Zee, on the other hand, slightly relished the sensation of Luke's hand over her own. 'It made me feel safe and secure.' Noting how she kind of like holding hands with Luke. It felt unfamiliar, yet welcoming. Like being sheltered from a raging storm, the feeling lingered longer as she can't stop her beating heart from stammering in her chest.
The two were brought out of their own little fantasies as Diana pulled out her sword, screaming something about warning Caitlyn as she assumed that Aiden was about to attack the other girl on screen.
"No, Diana! He's just going to-" Not letting Karen finish, Diana pounced on the front and started tearing the screen to shreds. Her team's pleas for her to stop failed as the movie ended in a violent manner.
"Kiss her," Karen concluded, but it was too late.
Thankful for the save, Luke and the gang got out of the movie theater. Though he should probably try to avoid being alone with Zee for the time being.
"She's just not getting it, you guys," Kara stated as it seemed that Diana might not learn how to be a regular and normal teenager.
"No! I am not giving up on this team. There has to be someplace to loosen up an uptight warrior princess." Babs told the rest as they pondered over their next course of action.
The sun was already setting from the horizon. Luke was ecstatic at the idea of calling it quits and going off on his lonesome to spend some quality time entertaining himself. The pier should be nearby, maybe he could spend some time there to relax.
"Welp, seeing as the day is over, I'm gonna go have fun at the pier. It was nice spending the day with you girls, let's not do this again." He said in a sarcastic tone. However, his statement only gave Babs an awesome plan.
"Luke, you're a genius!" Barbara gasped out loud as she went to hug Luke and began dragging the reluctant Luke along with her as he just gave them a brilliant idea.
"Come on, guys! I know where we should go next." They followed as Luke whined at his chance of being alone going down the drain.
'I hate my life.' He thought as the girls pulled him along for a night of fun.
That's it for today, see you guys next time!
