So Thor defeats Bikou and now turns his attention to Vali, can he defeat the Heavenly Dragon and what will Havarti do if Kuroka gets serious? Those answers will be answered now.

Optimus470: That's right, another braid for the God of Thunder, and Vali is about to learn the hard way to not harm a mother.

Livewire: That is true, Kuroka has underestimated the Dwarf but now she won't be playing games anymore. I think we all know who Havarti is talking about the clues have been in plain sight all this time.

Sovereign: Your right Soveregin, Rias only helped them by saving them, never even trying to help them overcome their problems, and either Akeno or Koneko chose to seek help but hide it away. If you recall in the chapter about Akeno's past Rias is trying to be better by helping Akeno if she keeps letting her heritage be an issue.

Terror: They sure are. Rose will have a lot to think about once the battle is over.

Valtazar: Sigrun is very lucky not to lose another friend, the Valkyrie and Einherjar are forming a strong friendship.

Vulcan: Ah yes, Gondul, I do recall saying she would pay a visit to Asgard to see Thor. Don't worry that has not been forgotten.

Blackout: Read the chapter to find out my friend

King Scarlet: Thor did have a rage moment, the battle against Kokabiel when Rose was hurt. What you're asking is similar to Issei when he thinks Asia is killed. He goes berserks and only a song about boobs can snap him out of it. I'm sorry but I want to try and avoid certain tropes done before. Plus Thor is trying to control his anger.

Lorenzo Macchiavelli: You think so? That does sound nice but I have a plan for the Dark Elves. As for Hel and her realm I have nothing planned for her yet.

: Aww thank you that's really kind to know you like the story and yes, I absolutely did make a reference to Man of Steel because the scene is badass and we men who love our moms would do the very same Superman did to Zod. Thank you for writing your comment in English even though it's not your native language it helps me know what you say :D

Thor x Rose fan: That, my friend, will have to wait a little longer. Hahaha, no way am I going to have everyone watching them like what happened to poor Rias and Issei.

Barricade: You flatter me in hoping Thor will humble Vali. Maybe he will be, remember what Freya said to the Satan's "Pride has been the undoing of many people both good and bad. Your pride shall be your downfall." with how prideful Vali is it most definitely will lead to his downfall.

Century: Aww thank you. Actually, someone asked to make a tv trope page but due to some personal stuff, he had to put it on hiatus. If he finishes it I can send you a link and, if you want, share it with people who won't hate it because it's OC centered.

Since the beginning of his battle, Azazel found he was eventually matched against Katarea with the Leviathan descendant proving her worth in power, sometimes easily destroying spells he sent her way with a simple blast of her staff. Every second he glanced around checking on each battle; so far Issei was holding his own against Vali but the undead was massacring the living adding more and more to their forces, the only way to stop them was to take the Lich Queen out of the battle and by the looks of it Sirzechs and Serafall's sisters were trying but struggling to get it done. It was the Satan descendant's threat to kill his son and wife that returned his attention back to his battle but the leader of the Fallen Angels brushed her words aside claiming them as a brazen statement to break his composure. Nevertheless, the thought of seeing his own son dead at his feet pressed Grigori's founder to finish this battle and help stop Kuroka, from all the times he recalled seeing the voluptuous Youkai fight he knew his son wouldn't be a match for her even with all the training he drilled into him. Being a father was not on Azazel's to-do list but this was a responsibility he couldn't ignore, he would not let his son die no matter the cost. He had just activated his Balance Breaker to quickly finish the battle until Shalba chose to join the fight, leaving Azazel to face two Satans.

"To think you were able to create a Sacred Gear is quite an impressive feat, Azazel." Perhaps you will put up a better fight than that fool Micheal. Like the rest of his Angels, he is weak-willed to deal a killing blow to his foe. I do not seek redemption but revenge and it shall be claimed once you and Sirzechs fall."

"Of course, he couldn't bring himself to kill you Shalba, you should know they always preach about peace and love. I, however, will not hold back in killing the both of you."

"Kill the both of us? You may have a Sacred Gear with one of the Five Dragon Kings but even he cannot help you defeat us. With the power of the Ouroboros Dragon, we will destroy you and your pathetic excuse of a half-breed son!" Leviathan's descendant threw her arm forward the action causing it to elongate like rubber with more arms appearing as it grew longer and longer with even the fingers stretching towards the Fallen Angel, each one sliced to pieces by the two-pronged spear Azazel wielded but even he couldn't stop them all and eventually found himself wrapped up like a Christmas present leaving him wide open for Shalba to let loose another swarm of bees towards the struggling researcher.

Calling upon Fafnir's powers, Azazel let loose a burst of magic freeing himself from Katarea's grasp just in time to close his wings around himself to take the Shalba's exploding bugs. The flames of the bees exploding would have burned his feathers if not for hardening them as steel yet the power behind the attack was incredible, he knew Shalba was powerful but not to this level. No, of course, it isn't just his own, Katerea said the Ouroboros Dragon gave the old Satan's power that's why they were more than a match for them. Without that boost in power, they would fall like dominoes but Shalba had wisely held back in his battle with Michael until he, Azazel, used the Balance Breaker in his Sacred Gear thus forcing him to use it to deal with Michael and turn his attention to the Governor-General.

Azazel racked his brain for a plan knowing his Balance Breaker couldn't withstand both Satan's attacks, he needed to find a way to split them up but how? Sirzechs and Grayfia had to maintain the barrier, Freya was still recovering from her attack, Serafall was still engaged with Creuserey, Micheal was down, and the kids had their own battles. If only the Dhampir wasn't unconscious he could freeze time for a moment, just a moment to let him land a critical strike on Shalba since he obviously was the more powerful.

"What's wrong, Azazel, have you run out of ideas?" Taunted Katerea as she readied another spell via her staff. Just then Shalba threw forth his hand to cast a barrier behind Leviathan's descendant to block the volley of light spears aimed at her. They all turned their gaze to the attacker, only Azazel showed surprise to see his savior.

"Son!?"

Indeed it was Azrael, scowling at the Satan's, his wounds inflicted by Kuroka gone. Wasn't he fighting Kuroka?

"So, this is the half-breed the human woman gave birth to." Said Shalba, keeping his gaze on the young angel, "I was expecting more from a son produced by you, Azazel."

"Let me kill him, Shalba. I wanna make due on my promises to kill the brat and the human he slept with."

Beneath the helmet, Azazel's eyes flashed as the image of his son at his feet flashed through his mind again. Spreading his wings wide he went straight for Katerea, she would have to get pasted him if she wanted to lay a finger on his boy. Swinging his spear at Leviathan he sent a volley of feathers at Beelzebub to draw his attention from his son. As usual, both attacks failed to hit their targets but allowed him to zoom past the descendants to get between them and his son.

"So, care to explain why you are here and not fighting Kuroka?"

"You can thank Havarti the Dwarf for that. He teleported me back to the meeting room where Asia healed me. The Dhampir is awake now but Lady Freya is still recovering from Vali's attack."

Azazel made a mental note to thank the dwarf for saving his son but now he was alone to face the Nekoshou, an Ultimate-class foe was one not to take lightly which he hoped the boy wasn't doing. Learning the Queen of the Valkyries still couldn't join them in battle was troubling news. Guess Vali really did a number on her, he may be this generation's White Dragon Emperor but the wrath of a son who also happened to be the God of Thunder was a force not to be taken lightly.

"I strongly recommend you get away from here as fast as you can."

"And watch as my father struggles to take on two Satans? You are strong, father, but the power radiating from them will overpower even you. You need help and seeing as none of the other leaders can do that at the moment it's up to me to watch your back."

"How adorable. Father and son get to die togehter." Katerea laughed.

That won't happen! Thought Azazel, before calling forth an object and giving it to his son, "I gave one to Issei and the other was intended for the Dhampir but your gonna need it. Pour some magic into it and you'll get a boost in power."

Azrael listened to his father and sure enough, he felt his power increase, this sure could have helped against Kuroka. What was happening between the Youkai and Dwarf right now? Was Havarti holding his own against the Stray Devil? He must be, that magic he was performing before teleporting him away looked to be a mix of Norse Magic and Demonic Power, a feat that shouldn't be possible yet Dwarves were still a mystery to the Supernatural World. Their skills were said to lie in craftsmanship but Havarti showed they excelled in magic too. As soon as this battle is won he wanted to know more about the Dwarf.

There was a stab of bright light and the roar of thunder not far away followed by what looked to be Vali being sent flying into the school building by Thor. Now that the White Dragon Emperor showed his true colors Azrael felt great satisfaction to see that smug prick getting attacked by Thor. If luck was on their side then today Vali would finally get knocked off his high horse and prove he too wasn't invincible.

"Stay focused, son!"

Remembering he was here to help his father, Azrael generated spears of light to hurl toward Shalba who blew them away with a large magic bullet. The attack, however, allowed Azazel to close the distance but Shalba more than prepared with a wall of bees enforced by barrier seals to stand against the Governor-General's spear a feat that surprised Azrael. If Micheal lost against Beelzebub could his father truly beat him?

"This fight is pointless. Your struggle is pointless." Shalba said behind his protection while firing elemental spells at Azrael, two nearly hitting the younger Fallen Angel. Azrael responded with more light spears this time being stopped by Katerea, "Leave Azazel to me. His son is all yours."

The descendent of Leviathan turns her gaze to Azrael, the sinister smile unsettling on her beautiful face, "I was planning to kill your father for his insults but I think taking your life will be much more satisfying."

And without any warning, a beam of magic was unleashed from the staff at speeds too fast for the boy to dodge. Azrael braced himself for the attack but lo barriers layered upon each other appeared and, to the wonder and surprise of Katerea Leviathan, managed to stop her mighty attack. Who had power strong enough to stop her? Taking a good long look at the spells she saw Norse runes etched into them and a black dread fell upon Leviathan's descendant, had the Allfather's wife recovered and come to unleash her wrath upon them as she said she would? Looking about for who it was that came to aid the hybrid boy she saw that it was not the queen of the Valkyries but one of her warrior maidens, the silver-haired one, and there was a green glow about her which meant the Red Dragon Emperor transferred power to her which also explained how she was able to stop her attack.

"So a Valkyrie has come to stop me? Your aid will be fruitless!"

"What are you doing here Ms. Rossweisse?" Azrael asked while she answered the arrogant Satan with another barrage of spells she struggled against.

"Helping you, of course. I just got back from delivering Bikou to the Allmother after explaining a plan I had to defeat Vali which includes Issei's help."

One black eyebrow lifted, "Is that so? Well, I hope your plan works."

"It will!"

Elsewhere in the sky, Azazel swung as fast as his arm could move each strike near to hitting Shalba but each one was missed or blocked by a barrier. One thrust saw the King of Flies dodge and grab the spear shaft before firing a spell at point-blank range at Azazel sending him flying backward for Shalba followed up with another swarm of bees mixed with elemental spells. Of the three original Satans; the King of the Flies was the most proficient in combat by how flawlessly he performed his attacks. The Governor-General responded in kind with a volley of light spears to counter the colliding attacks lit up the sky like fireworks. Neither Devil nor Fallen Angel ceased in their spell casting, both intending to overpower the other.

"Your boy has potential, Azazel. A shame he has to die today. If you had joined us in the Great War we would have won and you be the ruler of heaven with your son as the prince."

Azazel scoffed beneath his armor, "Ruling the old man's puffy white realm was never my intention, Shalba. I only attacked Heaven to regain entry to learn the secrets of Sacred Gears. Of course, that was a big flop with so many perishing."

"So that's why you pulled out of the war. You failed to gain entry into Heaven which in turn led to you gathering Sacred Gear possessors to research them and create those artificial ones which I will not deny can be of great use to me. You Fallen Angels also developed a spell to extract Sacred Gears. With that knowledge, the Dhampir boy won't be needed, only the Forbbiden Balor View."

"And you expect me to just tell you even if I'm at your mercy? Not gonna happen."

"Not even if we have a half-breed you call a son in our clutches?"

Magic erupted from Azazel as more spears of light formed, some twice as big as the others. They blew through Beelzebub's spells and would have reached him if the Pureblood Devil didn't fly out of the way. Ok maybe that wasn't the smartest thing to say to the leader of the Fallen Angels but it had taken a swath of energy out of Azazel, he must be getting close to using the last of Fafnir's power. Just a little bit more and once Azazel tired himself out he could unleash the remaining power borrowed from the Ororborus Dragon to finish him off.

Down below on the battlefield

The fight against the living, the dead, and the magicians continued to rage on, both sides spurring to beat the other but with each kill to the living another would bolster the dead but still, the alliance did not waver. Humans, angels, demons, and monsters slew each other with magic, weapons, claws, teeth, or their bare fists, and among all this chaos in the heart of the battle was Xenovia with her Holy Sword, Durandal, its massive blue blade cutting down even undead it came in contact with. The bluenette was on a mission and it was to get to Rias Gremory's Knight, Yuuto Kiba, and aid him with the disposal of those Sphinx two already fell to his Balance Breaker and even though four remained he couldn't stop them alone. Sure soldiers of Heaven, Hell, and the Church helped the Knight but they did not Sacred Gears, Holy Swords, or incredible power that could bring those monsters down, all they were good for was being food for the Sphinx to eat and once dead add to the Lich Queen's army. The sooner she reached Kiba the sooner she could save the lives of her fellow Exorcists, she grimaced remembering all the undead Exorcsits she had killed recently including Nero. Nero…to think the wielder of the Sturdy Saints and leader of the Holy Emperor Tiro would become undead unnerved the blue-haired church warrior, he was so skilled, and yet even he was unable to stand against the wave of undead, would the same befall her or Irina or even Micheal? Her golden eyes scanned the battlefield for her partner and ruler of Heaven until spotting a large box the dead were failing to break due to the large spikes covering it which means that's where they were.

Irina, you can't stay there forever, Micheal is wounded and you need to get him to Asia as soon as possible! That task however seemed impossible with all the dead surrounding them, she desired to help save Lord Micheal but she tasked Irina with that duty while hers was to help Kiba. Speaking of which, she was starting to spot him between the gaps of fighting and by the looks of it he was not doing well, whenever he could he would try to attack the Sphinx but another monster would get in his way, no wonder he was taking so long he was being delayed by the other monsters well that won't be a problem soon. Erupting a cry of fury she cut down a Minotaur to at last finally reach the blonde-haired Knight. Leaping towards the closest Sphnix she sliced its left front foot off earning a roar of pain from the monster, its glowing eyes glaring down upon her as it stumbled to stay standing. Whatever ideas it had to make her into a meal were stopped by the woman's sword stabbing upwards into its stomach before being sliced down the middle, drenching the young woman in blood and organs that she didn't flinch at.

"You!" Kiba called as he avoided the swipe of another Sphinx claw, its two remaining companions turning their attention on her, "Xenovia, right!?"

"That's correct! You could use a hand!"

"That I could! Woah! I'm sorry your comrades couldn't do much help for me!"

"They knew the risks! We shall avenge them by slaying these beasts!" Then she turned her attention to the Excorists and Angels, "Lord Micheal is critically wounded and inside a box protected by Irina! Get them both back to Asia Argento now!"

"The former saint turned witch!?" Questioned an Exorcist.

"If you wish for Lord Micheal to die then be my guest!" That was all it took before the followers of heaven zoomed off to help the Archangel and Irina, they would not lose another leader of Heaven, "Idiots. They didn't see what I saw in that room. Asia has proven to be the purest soul among us all. Even though she became a Devil and learned the truth about our Lord she still continued to follow his teachings. Evening forgiving Lord Micheal for banishing her. If we survive this, Yuuto Kiba, then I wish to be her friend."

Kiba smiled, "I think she would like that."

Squaring her shoulders Xenovia readied herself to face the charging monsters, feinting a dodge to the left she moved right to send two great strokes to cleave its front limbs off. Unlike her first foe, however, it rose itself on its hind legs making the church warrior miss entirely and wide open for an attack that would crush her, at least it would if she was not an expert swordswoman. Bending her knees she timed herself at the right moment to jump towards the descending paw and once it passed her she twisted her body to use its limb as a springboard to launch herself to the other limb and did the same thing again and again until she was within striking range to slice Durandal down the middle of the Sphinx face splitting it in half.

Two more to go!

Her plan to tag team the next one with Kiba was halted when a trio of Cyclops' came charging at her, their dead skin hanging off them flapping like torn battle flags. Clicking her tongue the Church warrior made quick work two the first two and would have done the same to the third if she wasn't blindsided by the paw of the Sphinx. The bluenette went skidding across the ground, all the air was knocked out of her and the battle suit was torn with blood leaking from the wounds obtained from the attack.

"Xenovia!" Cried Kiba, struggling to get past the horde of monsters that were swarming about him. Even with his enhanced speed of being a Knight too many undead humans and creatures blocked his path to the bluenette, he wasn't going to be able to save her in time!

Xenovia felt blood fill her mouth, that attack was more powerful than she expected, the Lich Queen must have enhanced the strength of her monsters. Prying herself to her feet Xenovia glared in defiance at the Sphinx, Cyclops, and recently arrived Oni's, she was not going to let these things defeat her nor join the dead to feed on Kiba and Irina's flesh. Gripping her sword with both hands she readied herself for the next battle.

"Fifteen! Sixteen"

"Seventeen! Eighteen! Agh, come on!"

Confusion filled Xenovia's mind, was that counting she heard over the sound of battle? Yes…it did sound like counting but who was keeping a kill count? Her answer was a golden spear flying past her face and striking the large eye of the Cyclops' blinding it for the rest of the fight. Suddenly two shapes rushed past her, one was the woman she would never forget who scolded her in the Old School Building during their first encounter, and the other was a well-built woman wearing nothing but a pair of shorts and pants wielding a golden sword and shield; Henrietta Berg and Andreas Mandrapilias, Einherjar of Valhalla! Both warriors of Asgard sliced their way through the monsters; Andreas blocked and Henrietta attacked leaving no monster standing in their way. The blue-haired warrior could hear Andreas count with each enemy that fell to his sword meaning he was keeping score of his skills but who he was competing against wasn't answered for she felt the ground shake at the Sphinx's charging forward to devour them.

"Vandill!"

The cry of Henrietta drew the second Rook of Rias Gremory's attention, locking eyes with the Egpytian monster he grinned with excitement as he rushed towards the beasts. As he drew closer Xenovia watched him grow in size until he was fifteen feet tall, his height allowing him to reach just below the monster's head. With a battle cry that could be heard all around, he slammed all his weight into the beast stopping it dead in its tracks, and began to wrestle it, claws and fangs proving useless against his armor. Sending a hard punch to its face he slipped his arms under its belly and, to Xenovia's amazement, lift the creature and throw it into the other one before finishing them both off by striking his hammer, which had also been enlarged, into the creatures bodies shattering them into pieces, flesh, blood, bone, and organ flying in all directions. Although finished with his word the Jotun continued his rampage across the battlefield stepping on monsters and swatting magicians out of the sky with his fists and hammer.

"That still only counts as one!" Shouted Andreas over the sound of battle, cheeks puffed out at seeing the Jotun kill two monsters in one strike.

Xenovia shook her head, to think the Einherjar and Jotun were having a competition for the most kills was a sight she never thought to have seen. Now that the Sphinx's were stopped their chances of winning improved slightly but if total victory was to be achieved the mages had to be eradicated and the Lich Queen. Both objectives, however, weren't completed, even with Vandill and Sigrun's help many still remained that rained spells from above and the Lich Queen herself was proving to be quite the challenge for both the young Devils.

"For Lord Micheal!"

The bluenette looked and saw a host of Angels and Exorcists rush the enormous box with spikes, the box Excalibur Mimic took shape of to protect Heaven's new leader. As much as she wanted to help get Lord Micheal to Asia her task right now was to help cut down the reanimated army of the Lich Queen. Gripping Durnadual tightly she lunged at a Banshee lopping her head off before her deadly screech could destroy Kiba's eardrums. Sweat poured from the blonde's face and she herself could feel a little fatigued by all the fighting, how much longer would it take to drive the enemy back?

Inside Excalibur Mimic's box, Micheal winced as Irina bound the wound with the Archangel's own robes. The ruler of Heaven had been in a stalemate with Shalba but his sudden burst of power caught him off guard and wasn't strong enough to stop his attack.

"Save yourself, my child. It's too late for me."

Irina shook her head, "You are the new leader of Heaven we cannot lose you. If a path could be cleared for us, we can get you to safety."

No sooner had she said that did the sound of fighting erupt around the box with shouts to secure the box, Irina strained her ears to listen carefully due to the thick walls formed by the box made hearing hard but there was no doubt that those were the voices of the living meaning help had come. A second later there came a tapping noise and questions if Micheal was okay, seeing they were at last safe. Irina returned Mimic to its sword form and found a company of Angels and Exorcists surrounding them. Now they had to get him to Asia, carefully she handed Micheal over to his Angels instructing them to fly as fast as possible.

"We will gladly give our lives for Lord Micheal. Hold the dead back while we make our escape!" They said,

"Irina, my child, thank you," Micheal said before he was flown away to safety.

Irina sighed, it was now up to the Angels and Asia to help him. An Exorcist updated the Holy Sword wielder about the Sphinx's being stopped and they now had to press their advantage to drive the Old Satan army back. Irina nodded in agreement, now for the counterattack and hopefully victory with it.

"Twenty-four! Twenty-five! Twenty-six! Now my count triples Vandill's!"

Returning her attention back to the battle Irina caught sight of Andreas swinging his blade at every undead in sight while Koneko, Henrietta, and Sigrun protected his flank as he drove into the enemy flank if this could even be called a flank, the undead had no ranks, they did not act like an army but more like a stampeding herd killing everything in their path until someone puts them down. They had no emotions to sow fear into or break morale, they were unthinking, unmotivated, and unwilling to disobey orders, they were just an endless wave to add to their numbers. His one-man phalanx formation, Sigrun's speed, and Koneko and Henrietta's strength were working quite well together. The problem, however, as they had no goal of what to do or where to go, only that they had to keep killing until the Lich Queen was driven off or killed by the Kings and Queen's of the Gremory and Sitir Peerage. From time to time he could see Akeno flying about in the sky firing thunder meaning the battle was still going on, if only Vali hadn't attacked lady Freya she could have made quick work of the Lich Queen or her undead army then so many wouldn't have needed to die.

"Thirty-four!" She heard Koneko say after he hacked the head off a Banshee.

"What!?" Andreas asked.

"Thirty-four. You have thirty-four kills." The Rook's response earned a wide grin from the Greek.

Taking notice of a Cyclops charging their way Irina lept into action calling up her Excalibur's powers she transformed it from her preferable katana to a large axe that she hurled towards. The axe made contact but instead, the axe heads the butt of the handle collided with the one-eyed monster's head, and despite not doing any real harm the impact of the strike managed to knock it to the floor. This minor setback nevertheless alerted the Andreas of the incoming flow which Sigrun rapidly made quick work of and returned Excalibur Mimic back to the Exorcists.

"Nicely saved." The violet-haired warrior commented.

"Thanks. This whole battle feels pointless. I know Gremory's Dhampir Bishop needs protecting." She added at the glare Sigrun was giving her, "But we can't hold them back forever. We have to destroy the teleportation seal sending in those mages and monsters otherwise they will never win."

"The mages are being dealt with and soon their way in will be blocked." Motioning upwards, Irina followed Sigrun's gaze and saw a group of Fallen Angels head straight for the teleportation seal the mages were spilling out of. If they could stop it then that would lessen the pressure on them, Sigrun's voice brought her back, "But your right in saying we have no chance of winning with the Lich Queen still around. If Rias can take her out then the battle will be won. Now gather yourself, we must stay focused and kill as many of the dead as we can to prevent more of the living from joining them."

Irina sighed, so that's what their plan was then; fight until the strongest necromancer was stopped. It was not solid but it was something to follow… doing as Sigrun said she tightened her grip on Excalibur Mimic and followed after the Valkyrie to aid Andreas.

"Ah, a guardian Angel has come to watch my back! Thirty!" Said Andreas after taking care of an Exorcist who recently turned into an undead.

"Only because of your choice to join the battle to beat Vandill at a silly contest neither of you should be doing!" Scolded Henrietta, her blue eyes burning with disapproval at such actions. She loved challenges and contests but keeping track of how many kills are earned in a battle was one she would never participate in, "You should have gone to the conference room and helped protect Gasper since that is the reason why we went to rescue you."

"I could but you need all the help you can get." Andreas retorted, taking note of Koneko bashing in a Banshee's face, her ears and tails as a Nekoshou gone before they rejoined the battle on the schoolyard. The fear and shame of being related to her sister reinstated deep within her soul and now long until she came to accept that side of her he did not know or could he worry about it now since they were in the middle of a battle.

Between the gapes in the chaos Irina caught sight of Xenovia and Kiba cutting down monster after monster with their swords, none could stand against the teamwork displayed by the human and Devil. It was like watching a sword dance but including bodies to cut up. If those two were handling then she, Irina, shouldn't have to break off from the group she was attached to, even if they were a Devil and Pagans of the north. The five of them could hold out against the undead but how long that would last she did not know.

Not far

Power of Destruction sored towards its intended target but like before was blocked by an undead being, a Minotaur this time, prompting the red-haired Devil to swear under her breath. Although raised not to say such vulgar words this was one of those rare moments Rias Gremory could not watch her language. Neither the Kings nor Queens of the Gremory and Sitri Peerage landed a hit on their foe, the strongest necromancer was using her dead soldiers as shields to block every attack sent her way and countering with her own spells whenever she had the chance. The Lich Queen truly was a force to be reckoned with, the power behind the attacks she sent always came close to breaking the combined defenses of Rias, Akeno, and Sona. Her power was greater than anticipated.

"We can't keep this up! She's playing a defense tactic to whittle down our energy until we are overrun by her army. We need to change tactics." Said Sona working her mind overtime to figure out a plan to get past the Lich Queen's defenses, her childhood friend responded by sending another blast of magic at her foes prompting the Sitri youth to sigh inwardly. Rias was the more powerful of the two but brute force alone would not defeat the strongest necromancer, tactics and brute force together but how in the world were they going to do so?

"Don't give up, Sona! We haven't lost yet!" Rias encouraged.

How much longer before they lose? Any minute they could use the last of their power and become dinner for the undead, the thought of such a fate shook the Sitri heiress but did not break her composer, she was the sister of Leviathan, and she would not fail in her duty as the next head of House Sitri nor allow this witch to destroy this human school she'd come to love. The sound of thunder alerted her to Akeno casting another thunder spell from above erasing an orc aiming to blindside her master into nothing, the Priestess of Thunder was throwing every spell she knew at every undead that came close to Rias she would not let them lay a single finger upon her nor would Tsubaki, the bispectral woman swung her naginata left and right keeping them away from Sona. The water dragon the Sitir heiress formed weaved about drawing closer and closer to the Lich Queen only to get evaporated by a blast of fire from the staff forcing Sona to grimace at her close attempt to hurt her foe, perhaps Rias or Akeno will have a better chance.

"We need more power." Muttered Rias as she threw her arm forward watching the black fire blast everything in its way toward the queen of necromancy who raised her staff to cast a defense barrier, or so she thought. To the redhead's surprise, the Lich Queen began absorbing the Power of Destruction into the staff head before firing it right back at its owner who hastily threw a defense barrier up while Sona steered her water dragon into the path of Rias' attack its jaw opened wide with plans to eat the spell and would have done so if Rias' spell was weak, which it wasn't. The dragon crashed against the black energy struggling for supremacy for a moment before disintegrating but that moment was all Akeno needed to cast her own barrier, the combined spells from the girls were strong enough to stop the attack. Rias couldn't believe this woman was strong enough to absorb and redirect attacks, to perform such advanced skills of magic truly was something to marvel at and fear.

"I think things just got a lot more difficult," Sona commented as she pushed her glasses into place.

Near the school

Kuroka ground her teeth as the blast of magic nearly clipped her head, the skills this little man displayed first amused her now it was annoying her. The Dwarf was proving more and more difficult, each spell she threw at him was countered by one of his own or a defense barrier. The fact it was holding against her Senjutsu showed his usage of magic was very powerful especially since he somehow found a way to fuse Norse and Demonic magic together. It was that chanting he was doing, that must be how he was empowering his magic if she could stop him from speaking that may give her the edge. She told herself she would get serious and she was with a plan that would defeat the Dwarf.

Havarti watched the Youkai carefully, he didn't have the power of foresight like the Vanir but he could still cast spells faster than her, magic was a talent Dwarves were known for but was not used for battle instead for building, however, Havarti was one of those rare Dwarves that used magic for battle. He saw her move to the left and fire two Kasha wheels followed by two clones appearing and moving in opposite directions firing Senjutsu bullets, the fire wheels were easily blocked by the barriers but the bullets did not hit the barriers, in fact, they weren't even aimed at Havarti but at the ground in front of him causing a great explosion to form and observed his vision with fire and dirt prompting the orange-haired teen to swear in his native tongue. As he hastily tried to find the Youkai and her clones a purple haze suddenly formed within the smoke before turning into a massive cloud that washed over the Dwarf before he could inhale any air.

Poison! The clones purposefully fired at the ground to cover her movement to release it. Heh. Clever girl…. The Dwarf thought as he felt his knees buckle.

"I knew this would work. My poison always works on everything except for dragons which you thankfully aren't. Don't worry you're not dying. I only released enough to paralyze you because I may still need you to help me repopulate."

Despite his limbs going numb and his magic fading away from ceasing usage the Dwarf still grinned, "Still gunning for me to help with your baby-making project if the Heavenly Dragons deny you? Heh, you flatter me."

The thought of dying faded from Havarti's mind, he thought Kuroka would kill him but since she still counted him as someone to help repopulate the Nekoshou he counted that as a lifesaver, which also meant he could continue following the path of a traveler and scholar. Unlike his fellow Dwarves who became builders, Havarti wished to learn the other mythologies and experiment with combining magic like what he was doing with Norse and Devil magic during his requests with Akeno. His mind flashed to the dark-haired beauty, when first contacting the Devils of this town it was Rias Gremory who answered first and, after explaining his reason to become a client, was told her Queen would be best suited for the job. When he first met Akeno Himejima he couldn't keep his eyes off her, sure she had a killer body with a chest that outsized Rias, but those weren't what kept him looking at her, rather it was her eyes, smile, and laugh. Whenever she looked at him with those violet orbs they twinkled like amethyst gemstones in caves of Nidavellir captivated him like a child wanting a new toy, the laugh she always let loose between those lips made him tingle, and most of all that smile… that wonderful smile she wore always melted his heart.

Smugness filled Kuroka as she watched Havarti collapse to the ground, the boy was paralyzed and wide open for her to do whatever she wanted…like making a baby. This could be her chance to make that baby right now. Slowly, seductive, she began to approach the Havarti.

"So…you're Koneko's sister and a criminal of the Underworld. Care to explain?"

"I could do that but I have more important things to do," Kuroka said once she reach him, grabbing the edge of her kimono she began to slowly pull it down exposing more and more of her cleavage.

"I told you…I'm not going to help repopulate your people. I commend you on this noble goal but if you think going about and sleeping with powerful people is the answer it's not. You need to find a man who will commit himself to you and help support your goal."

Golden eyes rolled, "All I need is a strong man to give me a child to repopulate the Nekoshou."

"And how do you know if I am that strong man? Didn't you say I was at the bottom of the list? Wouldn't the Heavenly Dragons or Thor be more suitable?"

To Havarti's surprise as Kuroka mounted him, she smiled not a seductive or playful one but a truly genuine smile, "They could…but you're the only one to see why I want a child. To see the Nekoshou return from extinction and flourish as they had long ago."

"And what about your sister? Can't Koneko help when she's old enough?" How words had the opposite effect, instead of surprise the briefest look of anger flashed across the Nekoshou's face.

"That's not her responsibility it's mine and mine alone!"

"The burden of repopulating your people cannot just solely rely upon you, Kuroka. If you don't want Koneko involved then surely there must be other Nekoshou out there who-"

"There are no Nekoshou. Shirone and I are the last to Nekoshou. It's my responsibility to ensure the revival of our species. I have to see this through." She replied as she mounted him, Why am I explaining this to him? I never told Vali or anyone else the reason I wanted a baby. Is it because he understands me? If that is the case why am I even talking about it with it!?

"Is this goal more important than your own sister?"

"Oh, she is just as important. I didn't come to this silly meeting just to meet handsome guys but to take Shirone with me. Just one look at her is enough to say she needs help to properly control her powers and be safe with her big sister. Now enough chit-chat, let's have ourselves a baby."

"Before you do, can you at least release the poison in my hands so I can hold yours?"

Kuroka looked at Havarti, what an odd question to ask but he was at her mercy so no reason to comply with his request. She seductively ran her fingers up his arm until interlocking them with his, she stared into his green eyes a faint glow was in them. Wait a minute…glow…sharing her past…her eyes widened and before she could say a word golden runes began forming along the arm she was holding hands with Havarti. Hastily she lept back as fast as her touki would allow her excitement now replaced with anger, an emotion she rarely felt.

"You used eye contact as a way to hypnosis me into revealing my goals and touch you to use whatever this spell is."

Havarti grinned, "That's right. I must admit I wasn't expecting it to work but it did since you let your guard down amusing you won. You forget magic can be used via eye contact and more important…vocals. Frjósa!"

As soon as he magics sealed form beneath Kuroka's feet causing ice to form around them trapping her in place. Panic flickered across her face as she aimed a spell to free herself but paused when hearing Havarti call "Fara!" what was this next spell he called out? Her question was answered when another magic seal appeared beneath her and vanish in a brilliant flash of light leaving Havarti paralyzed and alone. To think that would work on an Ultimate-class being was a long shot but it worked thanks to using her arrogance against her. Wherever that teleportation seal took her was definitely far away from him and the school.

I'm out of the fight but at least I live to fight another day. I just hope this poison isn't permanent and I can walk again soon. Despite the way she acts I truly do sympathize with you Kuroka…

Inside the school

Gasper was shaking, the last thing the little Bishop remembered was running for his life with Koneko from the magicians while the Einherjar stayed behind to hold the enemy at bay. When he awoke he saw a full-scale battle waging out in the schoolyard, and it was all because the Old Satans wanted him. So many were dying because of him…because of his Sacred Gear.

"It's ok, Gasper. We won't let them get you and we will win." Said Asia whose hands glowed with the usage of Twilight Healing on Micheal's wound, her first patient was Azrael when the Fallen Angel suddenly teleported into the room covered in wounds. While she tended to Azrael he told them Havarti teleported him away while he began a duel of spells with Kuroka, how he was fairing he did not know but his hope that he could win was doubtful for he knew the strength she possessed was immense and Havarti alone could not take him. As soon as she finished he took off towards the battle to aid his father now here she was saving the life of Heaven's new ruler who sat in a chair supported by Freya, the Queen of the Valkyries, almost fully recovered from the attack by Vali. Soon she would join the battle and show the enemy why she was so feared and respected during the Aesir-Vanir War.

The tears in Gasper's eyes said otherwise, "I….I made all these people die! They are fighting and dying because they want my power! E-even Lady Freya and Lord Micheal got hurt! I…I wish-"

"You wish you were dead? Or have no Sacred Gear?" Michael asked with a sympathetic look, "To wish death upon yourself won't solve the problem, it will only make your Gear go to a new host and the Old Satans will look for them. Father had a plan for everyone. Why exactly he gifted you the Forbidden Balor View is a mystery to me but whatever it is I know he had good reason to do so. Your powers are hard to control, yes, but with the right help you can use them to protect your friends."

"Micheal is right, Gasper." Added Sirzechs who still held the barrier with his wife against any attack that should befall them which lucky had not so far, "If you died Rias would blame herself for not looking out for you. You are a part of the Gremory family and none of us wish any harm to come upon you. Nor do your friends from Asgard. Remember Mr. Mandrapilias put himself in danger to protect you and Koneko."

"And do not forget this little Gasper. Issei Hyoudou is still learning his Gear but eventually will control it. If he can do it, so can you. You just need the right help. When we have won this battle the Grigori can help you and the other Sacred Gear wielders in training and researching your powers," Michael said as Asia finished healing him, his ten gold wings flaring with light and power as he readied himself to do battle once more.

Help…something Gasper never had, before Rias saved him he was shunned, looked down upon, hated, neglected, hunted, and murdered. These Devils, Angels, and Gods were the opposite; compassionate, caring, accepting, and loving. His fists clenched, Asia was right, if Issei can control his powers so can he but what could he do in this situation? There were hundreds of people and he couldn't freeze all of them but if he tried to focus on one person then maybe, just maybe, he could help in some way.

"I want to help. I want to help win this battle! I wanna make sure all my friends come back safely!" The louder his voice became the brighter the firing kindling in his eyes grew, he would not sit here letting his friends fight and bleed for him. He was part of the Gremory Peerage and he would do his part to help win this battle no matter how small a part he will play!

"What a heartfelt speech you gave little dude but I don't think you'll be of much help." Freya's gaze turned to the speaker, bound by the strongest seals Rossweisse knew lay Bikou in the farthest corner of the room, Vali would not be happy to know this generation's Monkey King was now a prisoner. With Bikou taken out of the battle they now just had to worry about Kuroka and the White Dragon Emperor. Despite saying he no longer held ties with the Khaos Brigade, capturing Vali and Kuroka would deprive the Old Satan's of three powerful allies.

"The smallest action can turn the tide in any battle, young Bikou." Freya replied coolly, "And the right time to act."

Bikou rolled his eyes, "I'll believe that when I see it."

"And you shall very soon."

And so ends this part of the battle. Looks like the kings and queens are in trouble now that they can see the Lich Queen can redirect spells, how are they going to defeat her? How much longer will our heroes last before the enemy is defeated? And what is Rossweisse's plan to defeat Vali Lucifer? That will happen next chapter. Next year!

Happy New Year Everyone!
