So this became M rated after doing the future chapters. There are signs of alcohol, adult innuendo, and dark moments. So this would become M rated and there would be some changes on the description.
I began to realize this since both the Adventures manga and RWBY do have some rather mature contents so I am saying it here.
But enough of that, let's get right into the story.

Chapter:3 Taking Initiative
Red and Blue are currently in the locker room as they prepare themselves for what they will do.
"How do you think the team would be made?" Red asked as he now has his weapon equipped and he is connecting the cords for his grapples.
"There are many possibilities of how the Headmaster manage the team making system, but I only have minimal knowledge of how he does it," Blue said as he grabbed his weapon in his locker.
It was a combination of a longsword and a Barrett Model 98B. The green barrel of the gun is connected between two separate blades that would fold down together to make out the gun while it would make the sword if the blades are now on the opposite sides of the barrel, the brown colored guard has a branch like design with one side having the trigger. Lastly, the brown handle of the sword would transform into the stock of the weapon if he needs to be in long ranged combat.
"Well whatever it is, I just hope that I won't get the Ice Queen," Red said as Blue slightly agreed with him.
"Seriously!" The two then saw Jaune passing by Ruby and Yang as he was holding a map, looking completely lost. "There's no way I put my gear in locker 636 yesterday! I would've remembered having to count that high! Why does this have to happen today?"
"This isn't really Jaune's day," Red said till he and Blue saw someone they knew.
By Weiss, there they saw a young woman with her.
She has red hair in a waist-length ponytail, curled slightly into a loose ringlet. She also wore light-green eyeshadow around the far upper corners of her green eyes.
As a top, she wore a brown overbust corset with a vertical strip of lighter brown in the center. Additionally, she wore an elastic, black, A-line mini skirt and brown opera-length gloves on both arms. She wore a red ankle-length sash that wrapped around her skirt.
As for accessories, there was a small circular bronze plate on her right hip opposite two pouches with both connected to a belt. The plate bore her emblem. Underneath her hair, she always wore a brown circlet adorned with a pair of small, green, teardrop-shaped emeralds on thin chains. She also sported a large bronze gorget around her neck and a bronze bracelet on the upper half of her left arm.
She also had elaborate bronze greaves that started below her mid-thigh before continuing downwards into her boots as well as a pair of cuisses that began mid-thigh and ended slightly above her knees. She was also equipped with a bronze bracer on her left arm. Her high-heeled boots were brown with bronze trim, matching her skirt and sleeves and reaching up to mid-calf.
Red happily smiled when he saw her while Blue just smirks.
"Hey Pyrrha!" Red called out to the redhead girl as Weiss and the now named Pyrrha look at him.
"Red!" Pyrrha shouted in joy as Red ran up to her and they gave each other a hug. The two then let go of each other with smiles on their faces. "Glad you've made it."
"You too! Man, look at you, Ms. Champion here in Beacon," Red said.
"It is quite surprising," Blue said as he then approached the small group.
"Blue!" Pyrrha then gave Blue a hug as he gladly return it.
As the three continued their reunion, Weiss grew annoyed.
"Excuse me!" Weiss yelled at them as the three look at her. "Who do you think you are? How do you even know Nikos?"
Red grew annoyed as he walk in front of Weiss and said, "I am one of her closest friends in Sanctum, so who do you think you are to not allowing me to talk with my friend?"
"That still doesn't explain how close you are to her?" Weiss said.
"Because he is the son of one of my endorsers," Pyrrha said as Weiss blinked and faced her.
"What?"
"Well I never did tell you my whole name," Red said as he crossed his arms and faced Weiss. "My name is Red Ketchum, you can guess from there."
Weiss could only look at him in shock till Blue went beside Red.
"Well if you're telling yours, might as well tell mine," Blue said as he also faced Weiss. "My name is Blue Oak, and you can also guess from there as well."
Weiss now looked pale at the two friend's gaze as she grew very nervous.
Red's family has a company called the Ketchum Metalworks. It is one of the greatest weapon parts manufacturers in the entire world of Remnant. If anyone have a weapon, then parts of their weapon might come from there. Heck, even her weapon's parts came from the KM.
Now she just badmouth what could be her future business partner.
Not only that, Red's friend is the relative of the greatest mind in Mistral. He is an important person from Mistral that studied how each Grimm move, fight, and behave. He had recorded almost 80% of all Grimm species with assistance of Huntsmen that would gladly help with his research.
"W-well." 'Oh dear God! What do I do?! What do I do?! What do I do?! Think Weiss! Think! How can I fix this?! Oh God, he looked really mad at me! Think! Think! THINK! I need a distraction!'
"Hey guys," Jaune then approached the group with a smile.
'Thank you!'
"Hey Jaune," Red greeted as the blonde joined them. He then faced Pyrrha and stood beside her. "Say hello to my friend Pyrrha, she's a classmate of mine in Sanctum."
"Hello!"
"Well nice to meet you too," Jaune said as he then looked to the rest of the group. "So do you know how teams work?"
"Well I'm pretty sure that it's not preemptively picking one before initiation even starts," Blue said as he look at Weiss as she avoided his gaze to not get suspected.
"Well if it did, who do you think you're team will be?" Jaune asked.
"If Blue can't be my partner, then I just hope that he is part of my team. We're inseparable," Red said as he put his arm around Blue's neck.
Blue remove the invading appendage and said, "More like I have to watch over you every second. Good thing that Pyrrha is here, she might actually help with your recklessness."
"I'm not that bad," Red said in annoyance.
"Yes you are," Both Blue and Pyrrha said as the cap wearing teen just grumbles. The two know him enough that he would cause trouble when their back is turned.
"Okay... I guess I could go with Weiss or Pyrrha," Jaune said as Weiss look at him in annoyance.
"Like I would ever be part of your team," Weiss bluntly said as Jaune felt his pride getting blown over by how hurtful it was.
"Would all first-year students please report to Beacon Cliff for initiation? Again, all first-year students report to Beacon Cliff immediately," Every student in the locker room heard the announcement of Glynda Goodwitch in the intercoms.
"Well you heard her," Red said as he look at the depressed blonde. "Come on Jaune, turn that frown upside down, we are taking another step to being a Huntsmen!"
Red then march ahead as Blue rolled his eyes and Pyrrha letting out a giggle before the two followed him.
"Hey! Wait for me!" Weiss called out to them as she tries to keep up with Jaune just lagging behind.
"Let's go Yellow!" Green then entered the scene as she drags a screaming Yellow in the air while carrying a large object covered in cloth.
"Greeeeen!!"
"Come on Ruby, we can't get left behind!" Yang also entered the scene with her little sister trying to keep with the rest.
While the rest of the students went to their destination, some are not ready to what's coming next.
On the Beacon Cliff, overlooking a forest, where several students — some old, some new, and some unseen — are standing on silver tiles in front of the silver haired man and Glynda with her tablet.
"For years, you have trained to become warriors, and today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest," The man said to every student.
"Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of "teams." Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates... today," Glynda explained.
"Okay, how do they decide which person will be their partner?" Red muttered as he has his armored hands behind his head.
"These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well," The man said.
'I really hope I either get Blue or Pyrrha,' Red thought as he doesn't know what would happen if he ever team up with someone he doesn't know that long.
"That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years."
"... Wait what?"
"Whaaaat?!" Red winces when he heard Ruby scream in disbelief. Who could blame her? She's gonna be with someone that she clearly doesn't know and he was in the same boat as her on this one.
"After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path... or you will die," The man said as Jaune laughs nervously and gulps loudly. "You will be monitored and graded through the duration of your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. We will regard that item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?"
Jaune raises his hand and said, "Yeah, um, sir?"
"Good! Now, take your positions."
Everyone then strike a pose on their tile. Red went for a running start as he zoned into the forest. Blue having a lowered stance as he has his sword in a reverse grip.
"I hope that I get Yellow as a partner," Green said as she was somewhere in the line of students. She went for a lower stance as she revealed the object under the cloth.
It was a blue, circular shield that reached her full height. It has three forms: the shield, a glider form, and a great sword. The first form is self-explanatory while the second one will have the shape of a sword with a much larger blade that would be difficult to carry if you don't have the right arm strength.
Elsewhere, Yellow waited in anticipation as she relaxes her body while having a simple, yellow, metallic fishing rod on her hands.
Then one by one, the tile below them flung them into the air as they headed towards the forest.
When Red was flunged, he kept his body straight and his fists forward like a human missile followed by Blue getting flunged a meter away from him.
"StrategYYY!!!" A screaming Jaune passed him as he blinks in confusion, but quickly focus in the task in hand.
Find a partner.
Form a team.
And be the greatest Huntsmen ever!
He then crashes on the ground below as he quickly rolled to minimize the damage and stopped as he kneels on the ground with one of his hands on the ground.
"Let's do this," He muttered in excitement as he dashes into the forest.
On the cliff, the silver haired man and Glynda watches the students on a tablet.
"Sir, I-"
"I know how you feel Glynda," The man said as they watches Yellow on the tablet.
"I just hope Yellow would be okay Ozpin," She said in worry.
"Well you're like a mother to her, especially after you found her in this very forest," The now named Ozpin said as he kept his gaze on the tablet. "But I don't think we have to worry."
"Why is that?"
"She will have a team to protect her."
And that is it for that chapter.
Now the fun part begins on the next one and I'm so gonna enjoy how it will go.
As you can see, this one is very short, but that helps in prolonging the excitement. Making it long would destroy the surprise factor of the story, making a chapter a short one would keep the people interested in your stories. The long ones are great because they give out a lot of details to help support the story while having less dialog so the person reading would imagine multiple ways how the story would end.
I hope anyone creating there own story would be grateful for my tip.
But anyways! Why these four characters? There are characters like Ash, Misty, Brock, etc. It's because I kinda thought out any possible relationships between the characters in the anime, manga, and games to create many families with each character that could be compatible.
So I see Red as Ash's father then that will be what I think of him. I did the same with the rests of the characters and I created many branches that links characters together.
For now, I'll see you guys to the next chapter.
Vic out Peace.
