Hello everyone!
Apologises for how late this update is, I recently started a new job and have been crazy busy. I've made this chapter slightly bigger to try and appease you all.
I hope you all enjoy and as always, please reveiw.
I was going to answer some comments from previous chapters, but that will have to wait until the next update.

Revan sat in the cockpit of his shuttle and watched as the star of Atlantis' solar system grew closer. After weeks of being fed by one of the expeditions back-up Naquadah Generators, which it had completely drained of power, the shard of the Star Forge was now the size of a landspeeder.
So now, it was ready to be placed in orbit of the star. With Sheppard and his team away visiting a possible trading partner called the Genii, it fell to Revan, Zelenka, HK and a team of four of the Might's droid crew to position the fragment.
It had to be placed in the perfect orbit. High enough not to be devoured by the star, but low enough to absorb the necessary energy and matter.
"As you can imagine, both myself and Doctor McKay were quiet surprised when his theory that the Star Forge could hold fifteen times the amount of power as the Bastilla's Might can was proven correct by the simulations." Zelenka chuckled.
"I'm sure." Revan nodded politely as he continued to pilot the ship.
"Now we just need to figure out how to make portable versions of those power cells. Then we could do great things. Imagine, Atlantis at full power for the first time in ten thousand years. Would be quiet a sight." Zelenka smiled as he began to work on his tablet, it beeping with every touch.
"If I remember correctly, the Star Forge has designs for a portable version of the capacitors. For short journeys, they are equip with gravity repulsers. Alternatively, for long distances, you need a shuttle." Revan explained as he slowed the ship, cutting its engines to almost nothing.
"Are we in position already?" Zelenka asked, looking at the display in front of him.
"Close enough. The droids can handle it from here." Revan nodded as he flicked a switch and decompressed the rear compartment.
With another command, the sound of the hydraulic ramp vibrated through the cockpit.
The pair of them sat and watched patiently as four droids floated out into space, positioned on each corner of the device they were escorting.
With a precise firing of their jet packs, the droids slowed their own advance towards the star and waited for the device to being drawing power from the celestial body.
After a minute or so, a thin stream of light began to be pulled into the end of the device.
"The sensors indicate the Fragment is now drawing energy from the star." Zelenka said cheerfully before watching the droids return to the shuttle.
"Congratulations, Doctor. You've just helped deploy the foundations of the future." Revan nodded as his hands danced over the controls of the shuttle.
"It's all very exciting." Zelenka smiled, noticing the heavy clank of the door sealing shut.
"Let's head back." Revan said firmly as he piloted the shuttle away from the star, already calculating the hyperspace jump back to Atlantis.
John Sheppard was growing tired of how frequently the Wraith were appearing on his missions. During his most recent off world jaunt however, that hadn't been the case.
Although a part of him was disappointed that the Genii were probably now a permanent enemy. The missions plan from the beginning was flawed, structured around outdated information. The Genii had hoped to raid a Wraith ship that was still planet-bound, under the impression that the creatures still slumbered.
Sheppard had decided not to share the fact that their belief was incorrect, unsure of the Genii's true intentions. His suspicions were confirmed when they had tried to seize the Puddle Jumper and his teams equipment.
Ultimately it was the secrets kept from these potential allies that had saved his teams lives, one of them enraged at the loss of her father. But his activities weren't limited to exploring through the Stargate, the Major had also been spending time travelling the city they now resided in. In fact it was the result of one such survey that was making him head to the Control Room.
As he rounded a corner on his way to the control room, his thoughts occupying his mind, the military leader found a solid object slamming into his lower legs.
As Sheppard prevented himself from falling to the floor, the man looked back to watch a small droid begin to beep angrily.
It wasn't like the other humanoid type machines that Revan had bought with him.
The droid had three legs bolted to its stumpy body with wheels fixed to the bottom of them. A circular head whirling around in order for its camera to look at the Major as it rocked back and forth out of frustration.
"Just apologise." The familiar voice of Erica instructed as she appeared at the bottom of the stairs that led up into the city's nerve centre.
"I'm sorry?" Sheppard said, unsure if he had even done anything wrong.
"There you go, now run along FA-27." Erica encouraged, a smile on her lips.
The Astromech droid just chimed in response before it stopped its protest and rolled off down the corridor to continue with its tasks.
"I guess I'll have to get used to apologising to them." Sheppard admitted as he approached the young Padawan.
"Or you could just watch where you're going." Erica joked as the Major stepped past her and began up the stairs.
"Or that." Sheppard nodded, climbing the steps and entering the nerve centre of the city they inhabited, noticing Erica following him.
"Major Sheppard, how's the exploration of the city going?" Elizabeth Weir asked, coming from her office and entering the control room, handing a tablet over to one of the technicians.
"That's why I'm here, we have a bit of a situation." Sheppard answered, his hands finding his hips.
"A situation? Regarding the laboratory you found?" Weir asked, her brow warping slightly in confusion.
"I'll explain on the way, Rodney and Carson are already there. But it might help if we can get Revan to join us when he gets back." Sheppard offered, quickly gaining a swift nod from the expedition leader.
"I'll come too." Erica stated bluntly, not leaving him any time to negotiate or object.
"Fine." Sheppard nodded as he turned to lead the way towards the transport booth.
The trio didn't take long to reach the small laboratory that Sheppard had been exploring not even an hour before.
Carson Beckett and Rodney McKay were both present. The pair of them arguing loud enough to be heard from down the hallway.
As soon as Elizabeth arrived, both quickly became silent as she looked past them and stared at the subject of their debate.
"She's in stasis." Rodney explained, answering the unasked question.
"Just like General O'Neill in Antarctica." Weir stated, connecting the dots.
"We're ready to pull her out." Rodney nodded, indicting towards his computer.
"We can't! This is the only thing keeping her alive!" Carson objected quickly, trying to get the urgency across to those assembled.
"She's dying. I can feel her in the Force. She has a story to tell." Erica said as she approached the stasis chamber, a strange pain flowing from her words.
"My Padawan is correct." Revan reaffirmed, standing in the doorway to the laboratory.
"Your Force is something that doesn't really effect the decision making around here." Rodney quipped, a failed attempt at humour.
"Wake her up please." Weir ordered, looking at the scientist, somewhat unimpressed by his rudeness.
McKay nodded in acknowledgment as he typed a command into his computer and watched as the stasis device released the woman it held.
Before she could fall to the floor, Revan reached out with his hand and lifted her weight using an unseen power, gently guiding her past the gathered individuals.
Only when she was settled onto the bed the room contained, did the Jedi Master release his invisible hold of her body.
"That was bloody amazing." Carson exclaimed out of shock, still entirely in awe of the Jedi, his Padawan and their abilities.
"She's waking up." Erica informed as she took the woman's hand and sent calm thoughts to her mind.
"Hello, can you hear me?" Weir asked, taking the woman's other hand to try and comfort her.
"It worked." The old woman said weakly as she stared past Elizabeth and looked at the city beyond, the sun high above the silver towers.
"What worked?" Rodney questioned, somewhat confused.
"Maybe she's referring to the failsafe?" Sheppard suggested, unknowingly correct.
"She doesn't have long left." Revan admitted as he examined her with the Force. Her body was frail and approaching its expiration, the machine keeping her alive for nearly ten-thousand years pushing her biology to its limits.
"Is there anything we can do?" Weir asked, looking between both Carson and Revan, hoping at least one of them had a suggestion.
"I would have to do some tests to know for sure, but at this point, I think all we can do is try to make her comfortable." Carson answered, shaking his head.
"I'm afraid there isn't much more I can do, even with the aid of the Force." Revan admitted, death being the one constant no matter where you were in the universe.
Revan held her hand, using the Force to heal what damage he could, but age wasn't something that anyone considered curable.
The Jedi Master and Erica had been alternating shifts with the elder Elizabeth Weir. Both using the healing technique to try and prolong the woman's life.
The older Elizabeth had required extensive and around the clock care. This situation presented Revan the opportunity to assign medical droids from the Might to the city's infirmary.
Carson was working with FM-14 to monitor Elizabeth's condition, using a fusion of both civilisations medical and pharmaceutical knowledge.
"Thank you." The weak voice of Elizabeth said, her lips curling slightly in appreciation.
"For what?" Revan queried, looking at the elderly lady laid in front of him.
"Being here and helping them." She answered honestly.
"I haven't done anything." Revan admitted, shaking his head politely.
"But you've started. You abandoned your home and bought with you amazing technology to help my people." Elizabeth reminded, her grip on his hand tightening for a second.
"There's a long way to go." Revan said, launching a small sigh.
"There always is. But from what I hear and what I see, the changes you've bought with you are already making a difference." Elizabeth smiled warmly, indicating towards the human doctor and the medical droid stood together across the room.
"I hope you're right." Revan admitted, silently hopeful like he had been so many years ago.
"Did anyone ever tell you to never question your elders?" Elizabeth questioned, a small chuckle releasing from her lips.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there to help you." Revan apologised, his head lowered slightly.
"Don't be. This journey is one I had to take. I don't regret what I did. I'm just thankful that it all worked out." Elizabeth admitted, her smile still present.
"I will do my best to keep them safe, you have my word as a Jedi." Revan offered, continuing to hold her hand.
"I know you will." Elizabeth nodded, trying not to show any indication of her waiting strength.
"I'll get them for you, you can tell them yourself." Revan said aloud, replying to the thoughts from her mind as they flooded into his.
"Thank you." Elizabeth nodded slightly as she fell back into her sleeping state.
"Doctor, could you please ask everyone to join us?" Revan said loud enough for the man to notice, gaining a nod in response before the Scotsman hurried out of the room.
I hope you all enjoyed the chapter and I hope you all like the pacing of the story so far.
I did write a chapter based on the Season 1 episode Hide and Seek, but it didn't feel right knowing that they already know about the transporter booths, so Jinto wouldn't use them accidently like he does in canon.
Please feel free to comment if you disagree with my choice.
Thank you all for your time, see you soon.
