Hello everyone,

I'm sorry this is a day late, I can only apologise. I got inspired to write a brief fight scene, so I completely changed the chapter, I'm just hoping it makes sense.

As always, please leave a comment in the reviews.

His lightsaber blocked another blast from the stun rifle the Wraith soldier fired at him and Revan couldn't help but grit his teeth in frustration.

While this wasn't his first encounter with the savage creatures, he could only defend using his Jedi weapon. Which was why Sheppard, Ford, McKay and Teyla were all crouched behind the ruins while Revan stood in a defensive posture.

As his companions released bursts of weapons fire into the approaching ranks, Revan blocked more and more stun rounds.

"Rodney!" Sheppard barked before he released a burst into a Wraith Drones chest, making the beast drop to the ground.

"What?" McKay whined, cowering with a pistol clenched in his hands.

"Dial the damn gate!" Sheppard shouted, pointing towards the DHD.

"In the middle of all this?!" McKay complained, as Ford threw a grenade towards the tree line.

"Now, McKay!" Sheppard ordered as an explosion sent chunks of flaming soil into the air.

"I'll cover you, Doctor." Revan reassured as he stepped towards the man, his purple blade cutting down another stun blast.

"Fine!" Rodney cried before he took in a deep breath and ran towards the symbol covered device.

Revan stood between the scientist and the advancing line of Wraith warriors, stopping their weapons fire in rapid succession.

As the gate finished it's dialling sequence, Revan stood and protected the teams retreat, stepping back through the event horizon to find himself in Atlantis' gate room.

He deactivated his lightsaber as the shield iris was raised, turning around to hear the gate shutdown.

"The wraith, again, Sir?" A soldier named Bates asked, making no secret of his frustrated.

"Unfortunately." Sheppard answered, just as annoyed as his subordinate. Walking off down the corridor towards the armoury, his team and the Sergeant with following him.

"Master, welcome back." Erica said as she approached him from the Control Room.

"Thank you, Padawan." Revan nodded, clasping his hands behind his back as he slowly began to walk with the young woman deeper into the city.

"HK reports that the transfer of equipment down to the city has been completed. The installation of medical equipment has begun, our medical droids are already being utilised." Erica informed as they entered a transporter booth.

"The Might?" Revan asked, selecting a tower on the outer edge of the city, the doors closing quickly after.

"Minimal crew have remained on board. The rest are here in the city." Erica answered as the doors opened to reveal a different part of Atlantis. They were on the ground level of the tower that led out to the landing pad. Standing proudly on that pad was their Rendaran-class assault shuttle, several Astromechs buzzing around the ship running diagnostics.

"The weapons and armour we bought with us will aid the expedition personnel, but will require training in its use. That process will take time we don't currently have. The integration of medical equipment is a good first step." Revan said, thinking out loud as he wondered down the hallway, his Padawan in tow.

"Yes, Master. Once that is complete, HK has orders to begin the task of setting up the hydroponics equipment here in the tower." Erica explained, as the pair entered the makeshift warehouse that contained the supplies from the Bastilla's Might.

"That's excellent news. The hydroponic farm will help Atlantis become completely self-sufficient." Revan nodded, his mind already thinking several steps ahead.

"I spoke with Halling, he has agreed to speak with the Athosians to ask for volunteers to work on the hydroponics farm. But he assures me that manpower won't be an issue." Erica informed, watching her master examine a crate of droid repair parts.

"What about what we're going to grow?" Revan questioned, turning to face the woman.

"Halling suggested we trade for the seeds with one of their trade partners. But he has concerns." Erica replied, honestly.

"The Genii." Revan nodded, understanding, leaning back against the crate.

Since the expeditions encounter with the biggest trader and farming community in the Galaxy, the sour Genii had begun spreading false rumours about the people of Atlantis.

"Yes, Master." Erica confirmed, crossing her arms across her chest.

"When the time comes, you will go with Halling and his group to negotiate the trade agreement. You are to make no mention of Atlantis or the expedition, you are a representative of the Jedi. HK will be transferring to the Star Forge soon to manage its operation, so you will need to learn more about these tasks." Revan ordered, concocting of the solution after a minute of thought. After all, no one knew of the Jedi and their name remained untarnished.

Doctor Elizabeth Weir was sat in her office, reading a report from Doctor Shaw. It explained how he was concerned that at the current rate of power consumption, their Naquadah generators would be depleted within several months.

Currently, with the Star Forge being months away from completion itself and no supply chain from Earth, he was recommending the expedition set up a mining operation.

The plan had merit, even when the Star Forge was up and running, the raw materials could be useful. Which is why, the expedition leader had requested Revan meet with her.

"Doctor Weir, you asked to see me." The familiar voice of the Jedi Master said smoothly from the doorway of her office.

"Yes I did, please." Elizabeth nodded, motioning for him to take a seat opposite her.

"What can I do for you?" Revan asked, folding clasping his hands together in the lap of his brown fabric trousers.

"Well, I need your advise on something and considering you're the expect on the Star Forge, I figured who better." Elizabeth smiled, turning her computer around for him to read a section of the displayed file.

The man leaned forward slightly and allowed his eyes to flicker across the screen several times, after which he returned to his straight posture.

"The Star Forge doesn't require raw materials to function, it creates matter using the energy of a star. From my understanding, once the solar capacitors are ready, you won't require Naquadah generators anymore. But of course, in the event of an emergency, it's better to have residencies in place." Revan explained, looking the woman in the eye.

"So the Star Forge can create Naquadah from thin air, as it were. But perhaps if we had a true mining operation in progress, it would help ease the burden. Not to mention the trading possibilities, not just here in Pegasus, but also in my home galaxy. Naquadah, Trinium and Neutronium are all sort after materials." Elizabeth informed, remembering her brief time as the leader of Stargate Command.

"I see your point. We could modify the Might's hanger bay and use her droid crew for asteroid mining. They would need tools, created by the ships own synthesis bays, and an organic overseer. My only worry is refining the materials, your people would need to share that knowledge." Revan nodded, quickly thinking of the mining lasers, jetpacks and ore containers.

"I think that can be arranged." Elizabeth smiled, feeling as though she had won a small victory.

"Then it shouldn't be a problem. Let me know when your people are ready and we will head up to the Might to begin searching this system for the necessary resources." Revan nodded, rising to his feet.

"Thank you, for everything." Elizabeth smiled again, climbing up out of her own chair to equal the man.

"There is no need." Revan smiled back, before bowing politely before he left the office.

Revan walked down a corridor at a leisurely place. It was yet another hallway that led through a tower on the outskirts of Atlantis. Unlike some they had explored recently, this one was at least dry and showed no signs of water damage from the shields failure almost seven weeks ago.

It was strange to him still how quickly he, Erica, HK and the Might's droid crew had been welcomed into the Expedition. Although it shouldn't really have surprised him as the people from Earth had rapidly grown accustomed to and become protective of the Athosians.

As Revan passed a door, glancing into the room as it opened, the Jedi Master saw nothing of importance, another area for group gatherings. He couldn't help but notice that the Lanteans, also known as either the Ancients or Ancestors depending on who you asked, were seemingly very similar to the Jedi Order of his time.

Revan couldn't help but draw parallels, noting that their spaces were open and for communal use.

T7-16 beeped behind him, turning its head to also look into the large room.

"Yes, they are damaged, but still possibly salvageable. If not, they can be sent up to the Might for storage and later destruction." Revan agreed, noticing the three couches that had been pushed against a wall during the flooding, still dripping with water.

T7-16 released a tone of confirmation before skirting around the Jedi and continuing on down the hallway.

"Another living room? What's that now, seven?" Sheppard asked as he joined Revan, making fun of how many rooms of similar design they had encountered in this tower alone.

"Perhaps this building was for civilian housing." Revan suggested, turning away from the doorway and following the astromech's lead. Even though the corridor was well lit, the small droid still had its light and sensor unit activated.

"Yeah, maybe." Sheppard nodded, his weapon in hand, beginning to once again trail the Jedi and astromech.

"How are you sleeping?" Revan queried, sensing the mixture of fatigue, guilt and pain leaking from the man. Whether it was the military training or strong personality, Revan couldn't say, but the younger man was doing his best to mask his emotions.

"Fine, why do you ask?" Sheppard questioned in return.

"No reason, a lot has happened these past few weeks. Just wanted to make sure you were handling it." Revan answered honestly as they came to the end of the corridor, the door opening to reveal a stairwell to the next level.

"I'm fine. I was trained for this." Sheppard informed, starting up the stairs.

"No one's trained for this, not even me. I don't think anything can prepare you for what's happened lately." Revan informed, following.

"It wasn't me that saw an older version of themselves die." Sheppard said accidentally callously.

"True, but you've seen your own share of death recently." Revan reminded.

"I've killed before." Sheppard stated coldly, his words final, letting Revan know he was finished with the conversation.

"You're not the only one." Revan informed, not gaining even a twitch from his companion.

And there is Chapter 8...as you can tell, things will be heating up, the pot will slowly stir.

I'm not going to answer any of the past reviews in this chapter, let's just say I've seen them and soon enough you'll get answers.

Again, please leave a review.
