Transformers Prime: A New Adventure.
Chapter 4: Fast Spike Crashes On Earth.
(Author's notes: In this chapter, Fast Spike will show up on Earth, albeit in the crash landing fashion. How's that gonna happen? Well, you'll have to read the chapter to find out.
Enjoy chapter 4: Fast Spike Crashes On Earth.)
On the Autobot ship known as the Fragmented Future, an Autobot Captain by the name of Smokeheart states into the ship's P.A. systems, "Attention, crew. We are almost at the planet known as Earth. And make sure that our cloning machines are primed and energized, and multiplied. At the end of the solar cycle, I want you all to prepare for landing and send out a signal to any Autobots on the planet."
The 999 million Autobots got to work on the tasks assigned to them by Smokeheart.
The next 3 hours passed by, and Primus had chosen this moment to have Smokeheart's chief medical officer carry out his will.
An Autobot by the name of Seamind runs into the bridge of the ship and exclaims, "Smokeheart! We detected a Decepticon ship heading towards us with weapons primed and ready to fire!"
Smokeheart turns to a Vehicon that looks like a combination of Switchblade, Fallen Angel, Doomwings, Starscream, and the Vehicon Seekers employed by Ironspan in the future and orders, "Stellarwire, raise the shields and charge the ship's weapons!"
Stellarwire replies, "Yes, sir!"
Smokeheart turns to a Crusher Soldier and orders, "Atomride, set a course for Earth immediately! We'll need a lot more reinforcements."
Atomride replies, "Yes sir!"
Suddenly, the ship lurched as its backup thrusters fired, sending the ship flying to Earth rapidly.
The Decepticon ship, the Last Past, followed far too behind with its heat-seeking missiles being shot out of the air.
On the Fragmented Future, the computer announces, "Attention! Attention! Ship armor at 85% percent integrity! Entering planetary atmosphere! Collision imminent! Crew, brace for impact!"
The ship crash lands in the middle of the Mohave Desert, taking only 30% damage to the hull and middle part that leads to the bridge.
Then, the Autobots rushed out of the ship as the Last Past deploys several dozen Aerialcon Scout 1s, Aerialcon Scout 2s, Aerialcon Warriors, Air Sharks, Air Warriors, Blackout Terrorcons, Copter Drones, Decepticon Captains, Decepticon Ranged Warriors, Divebomb Terrorcons, Class Alpha Drones, WFC Decepticon Seekers, Flying Drones, KSI Bosses, Seeker Scouts, Seeker Snipers, Seeker Warriors, Skyblast drones, Skywarp drones, Spy Streak Drones, Starscream drones, Ironspan drones, Thundercracker drones, Vortex Drones, Jet Laser Vehicons, Jet Sniper Vehicons, Grindor drones, Vehicon Jets, and Vehicon Helicopters to fight the Autobots.
Smokeheart calls out, "Autobots! Take them down!"
Smokeheart's Autobot allies start shooting the Decepticon fliers and while taking on the ground forces, including Vehicons.
And all the while, Smokeheart's Aerialbots took on the Decepticon fliers by using the same tactics that many flying Autobots and flying Decepticons used over the years, and while unknowingly using the same tactics previously utilized by flying Autobots and flying Decepticons in other Transformers universes.
Meanwhile, in the Autobot base, Ratchet calls out over the base's P.A. system, "Attention, all Autobots! Our scanners have detected numerous Autobot and Decepticon signals in the Mohave Desert! Assemble at the Ground Bridge immediately!"
At that moment, every Autobot in the base, including the Predacons, rushed into the command center without overcrowding, without pushing each other, without bumping into each other, and without damaging anything.
As the Ground Bridge opens with the coordinates for the Mohave Desert, Optimus calls out, "Autobots, transform and roll out!"
All of the Autobots posted at Outpost Omega One transforms to vehicle mode and beast mode, and they all drove, ran, and flew through the portal.
Back at the army fight, the majority of the Decepticon forces resorted to using their Matter Duplication Rays to bolster their forces.
But in no time, the combined Autobot forces decimated their enemies, either through murder or through the Transmuters on the Fragmented Future.
As the last generic Decepticon soldier is reprogrammed, Optimus remarks in an awed tone, "Smokeheart. It is good to see you once again."
Smokeheart replies, "The feeling's mutual, Optimus."
Suddenly, the lead Decepticon Seeker calls out, "All Decepticons, full retreat now! This battle is lost!"
The majority of the Decepticon troops – Grounders and Seekers – retreated for their lives.
Fortressimus remarks, "Well, at least we got a few million more new recruits."
Stellarwire replies, "Technically, our new recruits now consist of nine hundred and ninety-nine billion, eight hundred and eighteen million, seven hundred and seventy-seven thousand, six hundred and sixty-five from the Fragmented Future."
Fortressimus' optics widened in response.
Optimus' engine rumbled as he let out a mute chuckle at Fortressimus' expression, but he immediately stopped when Fortressimus glared hard at him. Signifying that the Guardian Knight had heard him.
In the Autobot base, Ratchet was shocked at seeing Fast Spike, a fellow Autobot medic only a few hundred stellar cycles behind him, alive and well, even though they just met right now.
Ratchet and the other medics went to work on installing the equipment from the ship to the base, including the technology and equipment Fortressimus explained was usually used by Decepticons and Beast Wars Predacons.
In order to test out the one-way Transmuters that are permanently and irreversibly programmed to turn Decepticons into Autobots, Fortressimus used his Allspark Matrix energy connected to the power of the Allspark to the point where the Allspark Matrix can reenergize itself to create a Decepticon Seeker sharing the design of the Cybertron pre-upgrade Starscream able to transform into a Sukhoi Su-47 fighter jet, and the Transmuter turned the Decepticon Seeker into an Autobot Aerialbot in opposite colors compared to the original Cybertron Starscream.
Fortressimus looks at the camera and says, "We are definitely going to change the war in a whole new direction, whether Optimus likes it or not."
Fortressimus looks at the other cameras, and he smiles sinisterly, knowing that the new scripts for Transformers Prime are going to come in at full circle for the new version of the Transformers Prime cartoon.
And when it was time for the new recruits to get their vehicle modes, it was discovered that Fast Spike could transform into a medical evacuation helicopter back on Cybertron.
So therefore, it was decided that Fast Spike's new vehicle mode would be a 2010 AgustaWestland AW 109 multi-purpose helicopter retrofitted with his medic motif.
But the twist on the subject was when Optimus and Fortressimus revealed the Forge of Solus Prime, fully charged, much to everyone else's shock and awe.
Arcee questions, "Do you know of the things we could do with that thing?!"
Fortressimus answers, "Yes, and I already thought of one particular use for this hammer: upgrading our ground forces to become capable of flight!"
Even Optimus' jaw plate dropped at the possibilities.
Fortressimus grips the Forge, activating it due to his status as a Prime, and he picks Optimus first.
Optimus grows up to 40 feet tall with his Beast Hunters form, in addition to an added jet mode and with the addition of being able to switch between his original Earth form and his Beast Hunters form for any reason other than wanting to surprise Megatron when the Battle for the Omega Lock comes. Also in addition to accessing his Energon Swords which look like his Season 1-2 swords and his Tyran cluster Energon Swords put together. And Optimus also got his Overdrive upgrades primarily consisting of a double Energon Axe in his right arm.
Arcee also requested for a jetpack, and Fortressimus explained that a familiar Autobot commander and lieutenant would want the same thing.
Arcee gained the requested jetpack along with much denser armor, a pair of shoulder cannons on her shoulder blades that look like the Gundam Guncannons and a backpack-mounted Federation GM Cannon, all of which don't add any weight when Arcee is standing, running, fighting, or walking. Along with that, Arcee also got her Overdrive mode upgrades that consist of her blades becoming jagged in the Predacon scimitar sense.
Cliffjumper got his Energon blades from his original frame back along with his cloaking technology, his former ability to produce Nucleon Detpacks, and he also gained a set of armor just 5/10 denser, a set of shoulder-mounted miniguns and shoulder mounted lock-on heat-seeking rocket launchers, a jetpack with movable wings and extra thrusters for emergency flight and space flight, a medium-sized battle hammer that doubles as a handheld gun, and he got an upgraded transformation cog so he can scan a flying vehicle mode to become a Triple Changer. Along with that, Cliffjumper got his own Overdrive upgrade, which primarily consists of his new and improved Energon blades elongating into lightsaber-style swords and making his sword attacks deadlier.
Bumblebee got an upgraded transformation cog to let him scan a flying vehicle mode as evidenced by his jet wings accompanying the doorwings on his back, along with a knight sword that resembles many different iterations of the Sword of Judgement in all of the Age of Extinction and The Last Knight Optimus Prime toys from the Quadwal cluster, a shield that looks like a circular version of the Vector Shield without being a shield-blaster that can extend into an Energon shield, and back-mounted anti-artillery rocket cannons.
Ratchet gained an upgraded transformation cog as well, as evidenced by the four-bladed helicopter rotor on his back. In addition to his upgraded transformation cog, Ratchet gained even more tools in his servos, even more tools in his subspace storage compartment, blasters, his original frame's Energon Axe, his original frame's Neutron Assault Rifle, his original frame's Energon Repair Ray, and his original frame's ability to spawn machine gun sentries. His Overdrive mode upgrade consists of an oversized wrench.
Bulkhead also got an upgraded transformation cog, also evidenced by the five-bladed helicopter rotor on his back, and he also gained a missile payload which thankfully doesn't include nuclear bombs, and a replica of Dreadwing's gun with a machine gun barrel and a container for grenades. His Overdrive mode upgrade includes his wrecking balls becoming launchable, just like his Animated counterpart.
But everyone else in terms of a majority of the Grounders with a lot of exceptions aside from just the Constructobots – Overscreen, Darksor, Blow Saber, Beachswipe, Banzaibolt, Slapscreen, Black Spot, Groundpick, First Shop, Silver Rod, Gunface, Tipjumper, Denfen Hauler, Sixway, Scatterstreet, Counterout, Mudbolt, Wheelkill, Ice Haul, Cranktrack, Motorbar, Laserpunch, Iron Hauler, Spark Shot, Wild Rod, Nightlane, Cattrap, Motormarauder, Sandcruncher, Beast Aid, Sideback, Dropwave, Subcruncher, Gunlight, Bumblecrusher, Icehappy, Road Rod, Snapmaster, Holelord, Strikeswipe, Storm Saber, Knockwheels, Needlegut, Roadbomb, Dragwipe, Slugspin, Mixgate, Deadstreak, Slap Supreme, Superraker, Splashcruncher, Shock Aid, Sixscreen, Rat Twist, Hubtron, Beastcharger, Cathide, Sea Maximus, Cloudcrunch, Metroface, Bristledown, Breakcase, Gutcharger, Squeezespan, Blackcrusher, Warbite, Skull Slam, Cranktrain, Hyperfest, Groundbrow, Splash Shop, Grimjack, Drop Shop, Counthappy, Icespan, Steelfest, Bigcrunch, Tipdown, Landraker, Tailrock, Smokefeather, Cuthide, Lightstalker, Flat Strip, Hardstreet, Surespeed, Break High, Beastplex, Ironblock, Battle Saber, Tailjump, Omega Strip, Squawktron, Chopmix, Needleblank, Bigmarauder, Blastcap, Knockjump, Firstmine, Takehead, Weird Aid, Roll Alert, Flatdome, Quickbox, Bumblewave, Joyatron, Fin Shop, Cinder End, Powerbee, Slug Alert, Roadlock, Flintwarp, Hypercap, Banzaistuff, Headmine, Victorybrain, Countplex, Chopdance, Afterdance, Iron Rod, Supermine, Victorydown, Silverimus Prime, Victorypick, Broadboom, Slingsor, Divebug, Blowheader, Wind Hauler, Snapwise, Warstrong, Wheelstuff, Grand Alert, Widedragon, Motorjump, Goldbeat, Head Twist, Hotburst, Treadjump, Pointspeed, Powergrin, Bigwatch, Trailgrabber, Wave Magnus, Megascreen, Galvascreen, Grimrunner, Dogtop, Ironshift, Depthstuff, Retroblaze, Jawslide, Doghopper, Grandshell, Lightblades, Dinorake, Blueburn, Hangdrive, Mainbat, Tipmix, Beach Spot, Megaclaw, Galvaclaw, Overthroat, Needlecap, Silversor, Searchbreaker, Headslinger, Search Maximus, Stranglewind, Chaintalk, Bristlemaster, Battlebee, Bristleout, Sixhandler, Skullbug, Powerjack, Silvergate, Finhide, Banzaifeather, Trailjump, Denfenjack, Meltplay, Top Spot, Tailbug, Squeezemix, Hubspray, Chainstreak, Grandpipe, Nosefight, Snaplight, Surebeat, Splash Rod, Hyper Rod, Downspeed, After Off, Broaddown, Nightmarauder, Hoseheader, Moontrack, Apespray, Flamedrive, Snapshot, Downstreet, Menstalker, Wheelpath, Beachlock, Pointsnapper, Fast End, Steel Shop, Stormpit, Motorshaft, Breakrider, Gunkill, Sidesaw, Waveshock, Sunburner, Fastshock, Slapbug, Subbomb, Darkfight, Rathappy, Headthroat, Iron End, Road Slam, Hotshaft, Superwave, Icecone, Flint Slam, Nosefill, Twingut, Gutstuff, Diveshock, Headcomber, Soundplex, Treadstalker, Subhide, Buzzimus Prime, Octopath, Twinfest, Hyperblock, Fist Rod, Cammarauder, Biglane, Needleimus Prime, Buzzcone, Blowcase, Backcomber, Slugblock, Gearsteel, Chromeshift, Slipguard, Topjet, Deaddown, Bombflow, Tigerlock, Grindviper, Weirdshot, Moonbrow, Overwheels, Flashstreak, Scorchdealer, Smokebeak, Goldspin, Sidehandler, Stellarlord, Starsmasher, Swiftbringer, Riftdrive, Riderhaul, Pathstriker, Heatdancer, Hydroflash, Chronofist, Sunbringer, Crashstorm, Steelvoid, Flaresmith, Surewinder, Rapidgiver, Airwinder, Flamejolt, Chronosmith, Starfist, Currentstealer, Voltfall, Groundvoice, Flamefist, Necroheart, Hydroscare, Gravityfall, Voltbust, Speedbane, Blastgrim, Bighammer, Airwatch, Mindburner, Leyland, Menwave, Denfenbeat, Rollspan, Backasor, Broad Rod, Countlane, Birdspan, Ironpath, Dogshaker, Octocrusher, Supertrack, Gut Alert, Starshock, Sixcase, Rainstrike, Stakepit, Motortooth, Cliffsweeper, Clippoint, Nightmind, Duskbeat, Surescare, Chromerider, Wrenchtwister, Windhopper, Shellshatter, Bladereaper, Goldcrunch, Chainspin, Moonbringer, Worldcoder, Searider, Starwinder, Chronostreaker, Sunshot, Seaflyer, Stellarreaper, Soundfire, Spikeride, Groundbeat, Nightdriver, Gravitycharger, Nightbearer, Roadracer, Busibot, Busicus, Cerebus, Bus-Top, Omnibus, Chronomaster, Droptrack, Longtwin, Octostalker, Lightbreaker, Soundfinder, Battleflyer, Metalride, Lightbreak, Atomblade, Magnetbearer, Cometcoder, Chronoforce, Nightswimmer, Lawbringer, Gravityrider, Brightstealer, Flareblazer, Victorybeam, Worldlord, Speedgiver, Riftbringer, Nightbringer, Smokevibe, Windgiver, Sunsmith, Hydrofire, Airvibe, Seafall, Hydrobeat, Motorswimmer, Nightfinder, Sunmaster, Galaxystreak, Brightracer, Metalflyer, Gravitybust, Airwielder, Chromereaper, Starvoid, Chromestreaker, Chronobane, Terrorbringer, Sunfinder, Flamereaper, Swiftbreak, Crashbite, Crashgaze, Stranglelock, Terrorjumper, Roadheart, Blightgiver, Currentgiver, Swiftfall, Magnetdrive, Spikecrusher, Downshell, Steelfinder, Gravitydrive, Terrorwielder, Dusksinger, Soundforce, Flarefinder, Tidebolt, Grimdown, Shotstorm, Grimknock, Currentscare, Blightbringer, Nightsinger, Lightlord, Tailgate, Ambulon, Armored Corps. Thereby becoming vehicular Triple Changers.
And it was decided that the majority of Grounders who volunteered to get their transformation cogs upgraded would all be scanning various different kinds of Earth civilian aircraft and Earth military aircraft. From air superiority fighter jets to fighter-bomber planes, heavy fighter jets, interceptor planes, light fighter jets, all-weather fighter jets, reconnaissance fighter jets, strategic fighter jets, night fighter jets, escort fighter jets, strike fighter jets, airborne early warning and control planes, counter-insurgency planes, gunships, heavy bomber planes, light bomber planes, medium bomber planes, strategic bomber planes, penetrator bomber planes, pathfinder bomber planes, close air support jets, electronic warfare planes, intruder planes, maritime patrol planes, multi-role jets, interdictor planes, liaison planes, surveillance planes, tanker jets, testbed planes, trainer jets, transport planes, VIP airplanes, passenger planes, assault helicopters, transport helicopters, observation helicopters, maritime patrol helicopters, multi-mission helicopters, rescue helicopters, training helicopters, utility helicopters, and even amphibious helicopters.
Optimus decided that in addition to his Beast Hunters frame, he would be scanning a McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet, seeing as it has the capacity to contain the most weapons in the inventory for the United States Air Force.
It was decided that Wheelkill would be scanning a NASA/USAF X-15 fighter jet, said to be the fastest military aircraft still in use.
It was decided that Overscreen would be scanning an Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jet, the most advanced fighter jet used by the United States military, also with a big number of weapons to use at once.
Darksor decided to go with an AIDC F-CK-1 Ching-kuo fighter-bomber.
Blow Saber decided to scan an Avro Canada CF-100 Canuck all-weather interceptor.
In short, simple terms, the majority of the Grounders in the Autobot army except for the generic troops and the Constructobots had their transformation cogs upgraded to allow them to become vehicular Triple Changers.
After everyone got their upgrades, they quickly discovered that they have new tools and new weapons. Including among others Ratchet having even more medical tools, along with being given new weaponry fitting for a defensive fighter and along with being given advanced replicas of the weapons he had during the War for Cybertron, Bulkhead being given a replica of Dreadwing's gun retrofitted to also shoot grenades, Bumblebee being given an array of missiles to be fired from his wrists, forearms, and biceps along with being given a minigun that doubles as a mega cannon and along with a knight sword and shield, Tailgate being given wrist-mounted machine guns and shoulder-mounted homing rocket launchers, Onslaught having a sword and missile pods, Swindle having more tools for making legitimate legalized deals and additional weapons, Brawl having more blasters and three backup cannons, and Clippoint having a taller frame with denser armor, submachine guns, and a hook-shaped sword made out of Cybertitanium, G-Metal, and Tetrinite steel.
Optimus then puts the Forge into its charger and remarks, "Autobots. We now have the means to fight the Decepticon army's fliers on equal grounds, as well as any other flying Decepticons who don't transform into flying vehicles. And with this so-called Beast Hunters frame I have, I happen to be the first in our ranks to become finally able to combat Insecticons with little difficulty. But now, we must test out our new flying vehicle modes to make sure that they work properly."
And so, that's what the new flying Autobot Triple Changers did: they tried out their new vehicle modes to make sure that they functioned the right way.
In his quarters, Fortressimus remarks, "Let the first chapter of the War for Earth begin."
Fortressimus lies down on his recharging table and immediately falls into recharge mode, scowling in his sleep as he reveals to the audience that he doesn't like at all the fact that even alien robots have batteries that need to be recharged.
The next day, Fast Spike explained his story to Team Prime.
It turns out that he was not only a medical student in his final year of studying when the War for Cybertron ended in the Great Exodus, but he was also a strategic fighter having finished his final year of mastering Cybertronian martial arts, including Circuit-Su.
Of course, Ratchet offered to take Fast Spike under his wing and finish his final year of studying medical work. And who was Fast Spike to refuse a gracious offer from one of the most famous Autobot medics around?
Just then, the computer beeps and Ratchet notices that the scanners have detected an Energon mine.
Ratchet states, "Optimus. Our scanners have detected an Energon mine."
Optimus replies, "Understood, old friend. Autobots, prepare to roll out."
One hour later, the Autobots manage to take as much Energon as they could to increase the Energon stores of the base.
Fortressimus remarks, "Well, this truly is wonderful, and no Decepticons fought us."
Optimus replies with a frown, "Indeed, Fortressimus. But I have a feeling that the Decepticons will not remain inactive for long."
Fortressimus replies back, "You're right; it's only a matter of time before they do return. But regardless, we will be ready."
Optimus nods.
The End.
(Author's notes: Sorry for deleting the other chapters of this story from fanfiction dot net, but I had a lot of inspiration for new chapters for this story, some before Darkness Rising Part 1, some before Attempted Averted Scrapheap, some before Convoy, some before Predatory, etc. And these chapters are inspired by my favorite Transformers Prime fanfiction authors on fanfiction dot net and Archive Of Our Own. BUT just so we're clear, I'm not trying to plagiarize anything that everyone else owns. I'm more concerned about the consequences of my actions than I am about the popularity of my stories.
Also, this story is going on an indefinite hiatus until I can finish the extra chapters before Darkness Rising and all other major episode chapters of Transformers Prime: A New Adventure. BUT never fear; I'm not going anywhere and neither is this story going anywhere. So please be patient. And please bear with me if I take longer than three or six months.
So, please wait for chapter 5: Escapee.)
