Transformers Prime: A New Adventure.

Chapter 6: Migrating.

(Quadwal cluster Earth 01928347562918, June 29th, 2024, first person POV...)

I'm Carver Wexler.

I'm a native of Grindavik, Iceland.

Now, like almost everyone else that grew up in the 80s, the 90s, or even the early 2000s, when it comes to watching the original Transformers Generation 1 cartoon while pointing out inconsistencies in the storylines and similar differences between the cartoon and the Generation 1 Marvel comic books, it starts to become redundant as Hasbro doesn't really do anything about it up to 40 years later. But I suppose it doesn't matter anymore, since the present day matters.

I wouldn't categorize myself as a Transformers fanboy, but I do love watching the shows and movies, playing the video games on the easiest to hardest difficulties, and reading the comic books before selling those to the people who want them.

Yeah, I'm generous like that.

Anyway, I was walking to my apartment since it was gonna be a heatwave in 25 minutes today.

I'd recently started thinking about what it'd be like to be in a universe where the Transformers were real, but I don't like Michael Bay's live action Transformers films. Not just because almost every Autobot dies all the time, but also because of, among other things, Sentinel Prime's betrayal, Dylan Gould being allied with the Decepticons, Sam Witwicky not being thrown in prison for murdering Dylan Gould since killing a criminal and a planet-wide traitor still counts as murder no matter what people have to say about that, Cemetery Wind was never properly investigated, and human alliances with the Autobots by the time of Age of Extinction and The Last Knight generally become non-existent.

Anyway, as I neared the alleyway that would take me to the shortcut I frequently and discreetly use to get home faster, I heard a peculiar sound in the alley.

And it was creating a gust of wind that blew light garbage away.

I looked to see a familiar-looking green and whitish-blue portal.

I questioned, "Is that... a Ground Bridge, of all things?"

I stared at it for fifteen seconds and nothing else changed.

I said, "My grandma probably might have a heart attack, but, might as well take a chance and meet the Autobots."

I walked into the portal, and I could see at the other end the Ground Bridge tunnel in Autobot Outpost Omega One.

Ratchet looked into the portal and saw me.

As I came closer, Ratchet clearly muttered, "Ough, Primus better have a logical explanation for all of this."

In no time, I got along with the entire Autobot army accumulated so far, including the Autobots that look like Bay Movie Autobots and Decepticons that would show up on some kind of Transformers OC What's Your Name Quiz on some kind of quiz website back on my Earth.

But nevertheless, the more Autobots, the better.

The End.

(Author's notes: Just so we're clear, not all of the new chapters before Darkness Rising Part are gonna be like this and like the Escapee chapter.

See you all in chapter 7: More Fangirls and Fanboys.)
