Transformers Prime: A New Adventure.

Chapter 13: Willow.

In the jungles of the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest, a medium-sized purple motorcycle – medium-sized by Earth standards – sped down the road path as carefully as possible while attempting to contact Autobot Headquarters.

Getting an idea, the motorcycle and its rider use the communications array reprogrammed and recalibrated to be compatible with Autobot frequencies from a nearby downed Decepticon ship undetected by even the Nemesis to contact Autobot Headquarters.

The motorcycle in robot mode with its holographic driver gone questions, "Chronos Vespira to Autobot Headquarters, do you read me?"

In Autobot Headquarters, Ratchet is monitoring the scanners when the computer detects the transmission being sent by the unknown Cybertronian.

Ratchet questions incredulously, "Why would a crashed Decepticon ship we haven't detected before contact us?!"

Ratchet then says as he answers the call, "Decepticon caller, state your business!"

The Cybertronian questions, "(Over the commlink) Dad? Is that you?"

Ratchet's optics widened as he recognized the voice all too well.

Ratchet exclaims, "Willow?! Is that you, sweetspark?!"

The Autobot now identified as Ratchet's daughter Willow replies, "(Over the commlink) Yes, Dad, it's me. Listen, I don't have a lot of time. I'm using the Chronos Vespira to contact you, and the Decepticons had yet to pick up on the ship's signal long after it crashed here five hundred thousand years ago. You must hurry, as the Decepticons will likely come after me to take me out and to plunder the ship of any resources that you and any Autobots with you can use."

Ratchet then says, "I already sent a unit of Autobots to the Amazon Rainforest for Energon. I'll notify them immediately."

Willow replies thankfully, "(Over the commlink) Thanks, Dad. See you soon."

Ratchet replies back, "Same here. I love you, sweetspark."

Willow replies back as well, "(Over the commlink) I love you too."

Ratchet hangs up and says, "Optimus, I know this hardly seems the time, but it's important."

Optimus replies, "(Over the commlink) Go ahead, Ratchet."

Ratchet explains, "My daughter Willow is on Earth in the rainforest onboard a crashed Decepticon ship called the Chronos Vespira."

Arcee asks in surprise, "(Over the commlink) What?! Willow is here?"

Bumblebee adds while using his real voice for the first time again, "(Over the commlink) And Willow could be in danger of any Decepticons sent to intercept her."

Optimus replies, "(Over the commlink) Autobots, roll out and find the Decepticon ship. Ratchet, be ready for when I call for a Ground Bridge."

Ratchet replies back, "Understood."

Ratchet hangs up.

In the Amazon rainforest, the Autobots drive two miles down the latest road path, and they come across the ship covered by greenery and trees.

Optimus remarks, "A Decepticon crash landing, buried here for five hundred thousand years."

Willow comes out of the ship with her servos raised in the universal sign for surrender, but both sides look shocked upon seeing each other.

Optimus approaches Willow and holds out his servo as he says, "It is good to see you again, Willow."

Willow replies as she and Optimus shake servos, "The feeling's mutual, Optimus."

Bulkhead comes up and Willow gawks at his now Triple Changer frame.

Actually, Willow had gawked at everyone's new frames – the ones who volunteered to have the most desired upgrades granted to them by the Forge of Solus Prime.

After abridged explanations, Willow was brought up to speed for the most part.

Upon returning to base, Willow hugs her father, and even Optimus wasn't imagining it when he saw tears of lubricant and Energon prickling out the corners of Ratchet's optics.

Even Arcee looked uncertain about whether or nor she wanted to point out Ratchet was crying, just because even she hadn't ever seen Ratchet cry before, but she held her glossa silent.

After the twosome break their hug, Ratchet realizes what happened and wipes his tears.

Fortressimus speaks up first as he says with all the honesty he could muster, "I won't tell a spark or a human soul."

Ackas Pax then comes up and says, "Well, hello, my dear."

Willow questions, "Who are you?"

Ackas answers, "I'm Mrs. Pax, Optimus Prime's mother."

Willow shakes Ackas' servo and replies, "Well, nice to meet you, Mrs. Pax."

Ackas replies back, "Same with you, my dear. Ratchet wouldn't stop talking about how much he wanted a daughter not just for training to be a future medic, but also for an attempt to settle down with a family."

Ratchet blushes and Willow notices before saying, "It's nothing to be ashamed of, Dad; almost any Cybertronian and human feels the same way by at least a third of Cybertron's original population and a third of Earth's human population."

Ratchet's blush disappears as he replies, "Who knew you were so smart this late in a period of calmness in the war between Autobots and Decepticons?"

Willow replies back, "I learned from the best."

Bulkhead then says, "Come along, kiddo, Mrs. Pax and I will show you around the base."

Bulkhead and Ackas Pax take Willow into the base for a tour.

In no time, Willow integrated herself well into the Autobot ranks and helped provide Ratchet, Blow Saber, and the others with not only assistance in the Earth technology, but also in the Cybertronian technology salvaged from the Chronos Vespira.

But Fortressimus knew that the Decepticons will somehow get more reinforcements as well, as it is the will of the universe to keep the time stream in near-perfect balance.

Fortressimus remarks, "Bring it on."

The End.
