Transformers Prime: A New Adventure.
Chapter 21: The Life of Rainplay.
In the Autobot base, Fortressimus states, "So, in essence, Ratchet, this is exactly why the Synthetic Energon formula needs to be further examined and further refined before we can even think about using it for fuel, weapon ammunition, and medicine."
Ratchet replies, "And I literally would've caused Optimus to punch me in the face just for bringing up Elita One potentially dying by Megatron's hand?"
Fortressimus answers, "Yes, but first off, Elita One is still alive. I saw the look in Optimus' optics when I told him of this important piece of intel from the original timeline. I knew in that instant that somehow, Elita One was still alive out there in the cosmos."
Ratchet's optics widened.
Fortressimus continues, "And secondly, this was all something that was omitted permanently from the Stronger, Faster episode because it would be out of character for Optimus to lose his temper for something as personal as bringing up the death of someone he loves at the hands of Megatron. Not only that, but it would cause a lot of lawsuits from highly paid Transformers fans who can afford expensive lawsuits in one likely scenario, the chances of it happening being 75.9% unlikely to happen. And of course, children and adult fans of Transformers everywhere on my Earth would in all likelihood write angry letters to the people at Hasbro for featuring something unpleasant and out of character which would set a bad example for children everywhere."
Optimus walks in to the room and says, "Indeed it would happen, Fortressimus. But I wish to ask, do you really believe that Elita One is functional?"
Fortressimus answers, "I know it, Optimus. If you want my proof, then you can watch my galactic forces' video message from Elita One and... some other Autobot friends of yours."
Fortressimus puts a data drive into the main computer terminal and a video plays with Elita One standing in front of the holo-vid camera.
Elita One says, "Optimus, if you're seeing this, I'm still alive, so that means the reports of my destruction were premature. I've found several dozen other Autobots and we're heading to the planet Earth, but in the meantime, look after my cousin Rainplay. She's heading to the Earth in 2 joors. I love you, Optimus."
The video message ends.
Optimus replies even though he knows Elita One can't hear him, "I love you too, Elita."
Ratchet and Fortressimus would've sworn to Primus and to everyone else that they saw tears of lubricant coming out of the corners of Optimus' optics.
Optimus composes himself as he wipes his lubricant tears and he says, "Fortressimus, assemble your Multi-Changer, Aerialbot, and Predacon forces just in case the Decepticons attempt to find and imprison Rainplay."
Fortressimus nods and zooms to the elevator to go underground to the SAFE and the lower areas of the base.
2 hours later, at the site of Mount Saint Hilary, the Autobots gathered to witness Rainplay's ship landing.
Of course, Optimus couldn't help but remember how he met Rainplay and how much she scared him upon their first meeting.
(10 million years ago, Cybertron, residence of Rainplay, third person POV...)
Orion Pax and Ariel were waiting outside Rainplay's apartment complex for Rainplay to come down to meet Orion.
Orion probably didn't know it and he did know it at the same time, but he was nervous about what Rainplay looked like and what she was like in terms of her personality and her overall interactions with friends, family units, and strangers.
Just then, Rainplay comes down and Orion's optics widened.
Rainplay looks like a combination of Ariel and Chromia, but with more muscle mass and with blizzard blue, bud green, cadmium green, cadet grey, and Chinese yellow for her paint job.
Rainplay says before asking, "Hello, Ariel. And who might this be?"
Ariel replies, "This is my boyfriend, Orion Pax."
Rainplay scrutinized Orion before noticing his frame that can only come from being an Energon miner for 2,000 stellar cycles at most and on average.
Rainplay remarks before saying, "Well, I can see that you're properly protected, Ariel. Nice to meet you, Orion."
Orion shakes Rainplay's servo.
Rainplay then says, "I hope you know how to treat a femme with loving care and respect, Orion."
Orion bots up and replies, "I sure indeed know how to treat a femme with loving care and respect, Rainplay."
Rainplay replies, "Good to hear. Now, please come in."
Orion and Ariel follow Rainplay into her apartment complex.
(Present day, third person POV...)
Optimus shook his head as he remembers how after Rainplay witnessed his new name being declared by the High Council and after Megatron's declaration of war, she and Ariel – after becoming Elita One – joined the Autobots on the first day of the War for Cybertron.
Rainplay's ship shows up, and it appears to be what Fortressimus describes as a combination of the IDW Movie Comics iterations of the Ark and the Nemesis merged with the Revenge of the Fallen iteration of the Nemesis and the Dark of the Moon iteration of the Ark.
The ship lands and the docking ramp deploys, with Rainplay emerging alongside one hundred and fifty additional Autobots.
Optimus remarks, "Rainplay, Skypillage, Errorharness, Wreckblitz, Meanflash, Groovelift, Flatblaze, Flarefuse, Rotorviper, Blueheap, Landhorn, Lunarburn, Scratchracer, Slinggrowl, Phaseray, Scorchraker, Bodyraider, Eclipseclaw, Retroburner, Wallopsling, Avianjeopardy, Magnafist, Freeblight, Thundersprocket, Vigorfury, Icesweep, Snakestream, Freakcritter, and Gravityrunner. Welcome to Earth. With our numbers, we may be many if not smaller from the army we used to have thanks to Currentracer, but we are strong united."
Rainplay rushes up to Optimus and hugs him, catching him off-guard briefly before he returns the hug.
Everyone else just shook hands with him.
In the Autobot base, Ratchet exclaims as soon as he sees Elita One's cousin, "Rainplay?! You're alive?!"
Rainplay replies, "Hello, Ratchet. Nice to see you again."
Ratchet comes up and shakes servos with Rainplay.
Rainplay looks at Fortressimus smiling like he was happy with meeting someone new.
Rainplay comes up to Fortressimus and says with awe, "You look like Optimus as a Guardian Knight with a vehicle mode."
Fortressimus replies, "Trust me, ma'am, it's a long story detailing the existence of the multiverse, the theory of reincarnation, and the works of Primus and the God of the human race whose real name is best sung in worship songs."
Rainplay looks at Optimus and he nods at them both.
After an hour and a half to 3 hours and fifteen minutes, Fortressimus explained to Rainplay his army's origins, the fictional history of the Transformers in the Quadwal cluster, the various Transformers continuities, how human beings came into existence by both science and religious standards, how humans lived after the Fall of Man, how 96% of the human race refused to believe God exists almost 2 million to 65 million years after the dinosaurs went extinct and after humans evolved to the point of being able to talk like Cybertronians can talk in English, how humans evolved as a species by waiting 2,000 years after the introduction and ascension to Heaven of Jesus Christ for human technology to be invented, the human wars over the millennia, the foods that humans eat to live, the amount of sleep humans need to reenergize every night, the amount of exercise humans need to build muscle, lose weight, and maintain a healthy lifestyle along with eating healthy food for every meal of every day, how only half of the human population of the United States eat only healthy food, how many humans wound up having serious health and physical body problems due to an unhealthy lifestyle ever since the invention of and mass production and mass sale of junk food in the United States and the discovery of fast food being unhealthy in the 1980s, the various countries of the world evolving from where they used to be thanks to human wars and overpopulation, the way various countries like Japan, France, Germany, Australia, Russia, Mexico, and so forth work in terms of their governments, the modern industries which include the entertainment industry that flourished and evolved substantially from the original silent films of the 1880s and the early 1900s, the toy industries of America and Japan evolving after World War II, the ways human chefs around the world have been trying to invent safer ways to eat any food regardless of health and nutrition benefits, and generally how human society in the United States works in the 18th century around the time of its founding, the 19th century before and after the American Civil War, the 20th century before and after the World Wars, the murders of several U.S. Presidents, the Vietnam War, the Korean War, and the Cold War, and the first years of the 21st century before and after the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks, the War in Afghanistan, and overall the good and bad things that happened in and to the United States ever since the year 2000.
Rainplay kept a cool head at the onslaught of information given.
And true, she was surprised to hear that the Cybertronian race and all known and previously unknown allies of the Autobots, Decepticons, Maximals, Predacons, and Quintessons were all fictional, but she admitted that during her studies of the multiverse during her classes at the Academy of Science and Technology, she learned that most if not all other alternate universes were similar to each other in some ways and also different in other ways.
Of course, Rainplay couldn't help but feel sympathetic towards the innocent humans who were killed in war, who were killed by warlords and tyrants, who were killed by God-hating disbelievers, who were killed by petty criminals, who were killed by assassins with swords or guns, who were killed by terrorists, and who will soon be killed and martyred for their benevolent beliefs and their perseverance in their beliefs, and will have to watch as some of their more horrid relatives will be tossed into oblivion before the ultimate final battle on Earth in the near and far futures.
And Rainplay couldn't help but feel sympathetic for the humans who either died of old age, who died of various health problems in accordance with their familial DNA, who died of various health problems associated with living an unhealthy lifestyle, who died of various accidents while filming scenes for live action films and live action cartoons, and/or who died because of drunk drivers or gang drive-by shootings.
Rainplay at the end of the explanation remarks, "Well, all things considered, it's nice to meet a fellow soldier."
Fortressimus and Rainplay shake servos.
Optimus then says, "Rainplay, I recommend you take time to get used to your new environment. A tour of the base would be an excellent, proficient start."
Silverimus Prime comes up and says, "Please follow me, commander."
Silverimus and Rainplay enter the deeper parts of the base on the first floor.
In the vault of the base, Silverimus states, "Apex Armor, Badge of Vector Prime, Blades of Time, Chaos Edge Sword, Chimera Stone, Covenant of Primus, Creation Lathe, Cyber Caliber Sword, Emberstone, Enigma of Combination, Forge of Solus Prime, Halo of Primus, Infinite Combinatoric, Lenses of The Future, Liegian Darts, Omni Saber Sword, Origin Matrix, Quill, Requiem Blaster, Scepter of Sparks, Scythe, Star Saber, Terminus Bade, Throne of the Primes, Triptych Masks, Energon Matrix, Matrix of Purification, Reconfiguration Matrix, Town Matrices, Ultra Matrix, Phase Shifter, Spark Extractor, Force Field Generator, Liquefier, Polarity Gauntlet, Resonance Blaster, Neuron Refractor, Energon Harvester, Ultra Prison, Cybertronian data cylinders for Synthetic Energon and for upgrading to highly efficient and highly durable military frames, Energon Converter machines, Liquid Converters, Protoform Replenisher machines, Reverse Transmutator machine, Techno-Organic Normalizer machine, Predacon Bone Multiplier machine, Food-A-Thinker machine, Fresh Pure Spring Water maker machine, Energon Repair Chamber, Body Part Regeneration machine, Weapon And Tool Making 3-D Printer, Dead Cybertronian Divine Resuscitation machine, Red Energon Multiplicator machine, and the four Omega Keys needed to access the Omega Lock to revive Cybertron."
Rainplay couldn't stop gushing over the relics and weapons Optimus' unit acquired all over the Earth and across various points of time across Cybertron before and after the Great War began.
But when Silverimus told her about the Omega Keys, Rainplay asked, "Wait! The Omega Keys and the Omega Lock could revive Cybertron?!"
Silverimus answers before explaining, "Yes. BUT before you interrupt me, the Decepticons still outnumber us nine hundred and ninety-nine googolplex to ninety-nine thousand. If we revive Cybertron now, the Decepticon army across the universe would try to rendezvous with the Nemesis and provide Megatron the reinforcements he needs to take over Cybertron, rule over it, and manipulate returning citizens into praising him as our planet's savior and branding all Autobots as war criminals. And in all likelihood if that doesn't happen, even if we gain reinforcements of our own, a Second War for Cybertron would prompt Megatron to poison Cybertron's core with Dark Energon all over again."
Rainplay scowled before taking a vent to say, "You have a point there."
Silverimus then continues the tour of the base.
In the command center of the base, Fortressimus logs the name and appearance of Rainplay into the computer so that she can have easier access to the base.
Ratchet then asks, "What are you doing, Fortressimus?"
The Guardian Knight answers, "Logging Rainplay's name and appearance into the computers so that she has easier access to the base."
Ratchet replies, "Very well."
Fortressimus finishes up and goes down into the SAFE.
The End.
