Transformers Prime: A New Adventure.
Chapter 26: Darkness Rising Part 2.
(Author's notes: In this chapter, the Autobots will actually manage to seize some of the Energon before the mine gets blown up.
Also, in the scene of Agent Fowler's visit to the Autobot base, Pyrodragon is not gonna take kindly to Agent Fowler "chirping at Optimus like a malfunctioning scrap droid" just because of the fight with the Vehicon Troopers in the last chapter. But when the Autobots explain to Agent Fowler who Pyrodragon is and where he comes from, not only will the Cybertron Scourge be mentioned, but also this. The Cyber Planet Keys and the Cybertron Omega Lock are not gonna be directly or indirectly mentioned under any circumstances in terms of relation to the plot of this story. Rather, the Cyber Planet Keys will be mentioned as the cores of the Cybertronian colony planets from Transformers Cybertron, except for Earth since this is primarily a Transformers Prime story and Unicron is the Earth's core. If you all know what I mean.
Also, what do you guys think about the Autobots having Predacons in their ranks much earlier than my other story? I know I liked that idea when it popped into my head.
Additionally, I hope you're all going to be ready for future epic chapters to take place before and after One Shall Fall and the Orion Pax saga. But the thing is, unlike my second Primeverse story, Optimus will still retain his memories, but the Autobots won't be using a clone of Optimus as Orion Pax to infiltrate the Nemesis and partially give the Decepticons an edge in decoding Alpha Trion's Project Iacon database. If you readers want to know more about that, you'll have to wait until One Shall Rise Part 3.
Enjoy chapter 26: Darkness Rising, Part 2.)
Optimus Prime begins the recap as the Autobots arrive at the Energon quarry, "Previously on Transformers Prime..."
As Cliffwheels, Fortressimus and Cliffjumper cut down Energon crystals, Arcee states, "The Decepticons have returned. Cliffjumper, Fortressimus Prime, and Cliffwheels could use some backup."
Fortressimus then questions, "Blow Saber, can the Decepticon Miners and Vehicon Troopers be repaired, along with the corpses of all other generic Decepticon soldier?"
Blow Saber answers before questioning in response, "Affirmative. What did you have in mind, sir?"
Fortressimus answers, "We repair any Decepticon Miner, Vehicon Trooper, Vehicon Jet and so forth that we kill, and we use Holebomb here to reprogram them before I use the Allspark Matrix connected to Primus' lifeforce and the Allspark to revive them. That way, we can have a ginormous new Autobot army to replace the one that was completely decimated throughout the duration of the Great War on Cybertron all the way to the first Decepticon invasion of Earth three years ago."
Tiderally and Steelfist state one after the other while saluting Optimus, "Tiderally reporting for duty." "Steelfist reporting for duty."
Suddenly, the base comms get an Autobot distress signal, and Ratchet looks at it.
Ratchet states urgently, "Optimus! We just picked up a distress signal from Soundforce! And it's coming from the Energon crater!"
Optimus then says, "Clippoint, Downshell, Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Arcee, Ratchet, Cliffjumper, Tailgate, Starscream, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Skyquake, Dreadwing, Steelfinder, Gravitydrive, Terrorwielder, Circuitflyer, Shadowfinder, Steelrally, Dusksinger, Acidclaw, Ionclaw, Novaclaw, Flarefinder, Tidebolt, Downblaze, Grimdown, Shotstorm, Grimknock, Currentscare, Blightbringer, Aero Raid, Armored Corps, Axel, Axor, Black Spider, Blackwidow, Blast Off, Blazemaster, Brawl, Breeze Master, Carnivac, Carzap, Catilla, Choppermaster, Clobber, Crankshot, Crystal Widow, Deaddart, Diabla, Drench, Drift, Explosion Launcher, Fireworks Master, Glit, Tightcutter, Gripthroat, Daresteel, Hot Break, Steamtractor, Laserknock, Hawkshear, Wheelrider, Wildbolt, Landbuild, Combatmaster, Rotorpunch, Rackflap, Oilclaw, Razor Bomber, Kingclaw, Jetswipe, Black Eye, Whirlrotor, Victoryfire, Stargunner, Razorslasher, Slogshot, Cat Rod, Shadowwheel, Scouttake, Thunderbomber, Wild Dragon, Vaingain, Hawking, Eclipse, Eagle Eye, Erector, Gigawatt, Deadgripper, Skyfire, Skyfly, Landslide, Manta Ray, Marinemaster, Piranha, Silverbee, Obsidian, Oil Slick, Onslaught, Flatwave, Flame Dragon, Scoutjet, Scoutlauncher, Scoutslasher, Scoutstinger, Treadmine, Shred, Sandblock, Counterglide, Ironsaw, Stealth Bomber, Stealth Saber, Seadown, Swindle, Firegut, Torque Gain, Vortex, Wasp, Knockdrive, Stake Twist, Wildwheel, Super Rod, X-Gunner, Warbrain, Nosejet, Mixstuff, Battleburner, Chaintwin, Denfentron, Hot Alert, Blastblock, Razorbug, Bumblecap, Victoryspan, Dreadjack, Dragtop, and Galaxystreak, prepare to roll out!"
The one hundred and thirty-nine Autobots transformed and they drove, flew and ran through the Ground Bridge to the same crater where they first encountered the Decepticons and met Birdtrack.
On the Nemesis, Victoryjump growls, "The Energon – it's worthless to me now. Hhhggghhh."
At the sound of a door opening, Victoryjump turns to see two Vehicon Troopers coming out of an elevator door in the floor of where the bridge leads to the ship's control panel, and they're carrying Soundforce.
The two Vehicons drag the wounded Grounder Soundwave lookalike to Victoryjump and throw him onto his knee armors.
Soundforce remarks in his Dark of the Moon Soundwave voice, "Ironspan. It's been stellar cycles. So, where's your lord and master?"
Victoryjump snarls, "Never mind him! I am my own master!"
Just as Victoryjump was going to puncture Soundforce's chestplate to his spark chamber, an invisible force grabs his right arm and twists it behind him at a painful angle.
Victoryjump yells in pain before he feels someone knee him hard in the gear box, dropping him to his knees.
That same invisible force also manages to knock out the two Vehicons holding Soundforce before teleporting out of the Nemesis and right back into the middle of the Energon crater.
Victoryjump gets back up thanks to one of the reserve Vehicon Medics using an Energon Repair Ray.
Two more Vehicon Troopers bring along the last of the Decepticon Rocket Troopers and the Autobot known as Starvoid.
Victoryjump snarls, "You there! You failed my orders for the last time!"
The Rocket Trooper starts to say, "But—"
But the Rocket Trooper doesn't finish as Victoryjump punctures the soldier's chestplate to his spark chamber.
Victoryjump asks rhetorically, "Any more questions?"
Victoryjump removes his claws and the Rocket Trooper falls face first, going offline.
But Victoryjump chooses to spare a captured Starvoid under Hub End's recommendation to interrogate him for information on the whereabouts of the Autobot base.
Victoryjump states, "You two, help me clean all of that up."
Victoryjump and the two Vehicons proceeded to clean up the spilled Energon.
Not even three minutes later, two more Vehicons brought into the bridge of the Nemesis an Autobot Soldier by the name of Lawdancer.
Once Lawdancer was brought to Victoryjump, Lawdancer remarks before asking, "Ironspan. It's definitely been Earth years. So, where's Megatron?"
Victoryjump snarls, "Never mind him!I am the leader of the Decepticons!"
Victoryjump punches Lawdancer hard in the chestplate, fatally puncturing his own spark.
Victoryjump inquires rhetorically again, "Any more questions?"
Lawdancer watches as Victoryjump removes his claws, spilling Energon onto a stain-proof tarp.
Lawdancer collapses, signifying he's also offline.
Meanwhile, back in the Energon crater, Clippoint, Downshell, Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Arcee, Ratchet, Cliffjumper, Tailgate, Starscream, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Skyquake, Dreadwing, Steelfinder, Gravitydrive, Terrorwielder, Circuitflyer, Shadowfinder, Steelrally, Dusksinger, Acidclaw, Ionclaw, Novaclaw, Flarefinder, Tidebolt, Downblaze, Grimdown, Shotstorm, Grimknock, Currentscare, Blightbringer, Aero Raid, Armored Corps, Axel, Axor, Black Spider, Blackwidow, Blast Off, Blazemaster, Brawl, Breeze Master, Carnivac, Carzap, Catilla, Choppermaster, Clobber, Crankshot, Crystal Widow, Deaddart, Diabla, Drench, Drift, Explosion Launcher, Fireworks Master, Glit, Tightcutter, Gripthroat, Daresteel, Hot Break, Steamtractor, Laserknock, Hawkshear, Wheelrider, Wildbolt, Landbuild, Combatmaster, Rotorpunch, Rackflap, Oilclaw, Razor Bomber, Kingclaw, Jetswipe, Black Eye, Whirlrotor, Victoryfire, Stargunner, Razorslasher, Slogshot, Cat Rod, Shadowwheel, Scouttake, Thunderbomber, Wild Dragon, Vaingain, Hawking, Eclipse, Eagle Eye, Erector, Gigawatt, Deadgripper, Skyfire, Skyfly, Landslide, Manta Ray, Marinemaster, Piranha, Silverbee, Obsidian, Oil Slick, Onslaught, Flatwave, Flame Dragon, Scoutjet, Scoutlauncher, Scoutslasher, Scoutstinger, Treadmine, Shred, Sandblock, Counterglide, Ironsaw, Stealth Bomber, Stealth Saber, Seadown, Swindle, Firegut, Torque Gain, Vortex, Wasp, Knockdrive, Stake Twist, Wildwheel, Super Rod, X-Gunner, Warbrain, Nosejet, Mixstuff, Battleburner, Chaintwin, Denfentron, Hot Alert, Blastblock, Razorbug, Bumblecap, Victoryspan, Dreadjack, Dragtop, Galaxystreak, and Optimus all emerged from the Ground Bridge and they transformed to robot mode.
Suddenly, Birdtrack decloaks and she shows Soundforce to the others.
Clippoint questions, "What about Lawdancer?"
Corvowing Prime comes up hauling Lawdancer's corpse.
Clippoint looks at Lawdancer's lifeless black optics, the blue in them gone with his spark.
Ratchet scans Lawdancer and says in horror, "No! Lawdancer has just went offline."
Optimus looks at the puncture wound on Lawdancer's chestplate.
Corvowing then says in Cybertronian as he repairs Lawdancer, "To the Almighty Primus, give me the power, I beg of you! Hear me out on this Earth! Hear me out of the tone of my voice! Bring back our dear friend, I beg of you! Hear my voice! Hear my voice! Hear my voice! (Echoes)"
A lightning bolt strikes Lawdancer's body, bringing him back to life as his repair systems reboot and finish his internal and external repairs.
Lawdancer gasps for air before hacking a bit.
Clippoint runs up to Lawdancer and hugs him gently.
Downshell then questions, "Where is Starvoid?"
Birdtrack answers, "Under strictest of heavy guard by Hub End."
Cliffjumper and Arcee exclaim in unison, "Hub End is still alive?!" "Hub End is still alive?!"
Birdtrack answers again, "Unfortunately, yes, he managed to survive your last encounter with him by simply evacuating from the Space Bridge explosion in his laboratory on Cybertron instead of giving chase like an idiot would."
Cliffjumper remarks, "On the bright side, I might get my rematch."
Optimus states, "We cannot dwell on this now. Ratchet, can you track Starvoid's position?"
Silverimus Prime remarks while carrying Starvoid bridal style, "No need. I have successfully liberated our comrade."
Everyone gawks, including Fortressimus.
On the roof of the base, Optimus says, "As of today, only we four hundred quadrillion, one thousand and five Autobots, including generic soldiers and including Fortressimus Prime's armies of clones, live on this planet called Earth."
Fortressimus states first, "I may not have known this Army Colonel for as long as all of you on the original Team Prime roster have, but I can tell that Nelson Calloway was special to some of you. I only have this to say to his human soul if it's listening: thanks for serving the country you were born in, Colonel. May you find rest in God's kingdom until Judgement Day."
On the roof of the Autobot base, Optimus is looking out over the horizon, lost in thought.
Optimus wouldn't admit it, but he's worried over whether or not Fortressimus' plan to introduce the one hundred and eighty-four humans into the Autobot ranks as techno-organics is a good idea.
Ratchet then appears next to Optimus and asks, "Optimus? Is everything all right?"
Optimus answers, "It is just... I worry about whether or not Fortressimus Prime's decision to bring those two hundred and nine humans into our fold as techno-organics is a good idea. I know that about three of those humans finding out about us is a fixed point in time, but I still worry."
Ratchet replies back, "Even so, this kind of thing will still result in tragedy."
As Jack, Rafael, Sierra, Ellison, Eloy, Birdie, Blanca, Elvin, Elvis, Blythe, Bonnie, Emanuel, Emerson, Emil, Braelynn, Brenda, Ender, Enzo, Brenna, Bria, Eric, Ernest, Brianna, Briar, Ernesto, Eros, Bridget, Bridgette, Ervin, Erwin, Briella, Brielle, Esai, Esdras, Brighton, Brigitte, Esteban, Estevan, Brinley, Brisa, Ethan, Ethen, Briseida, Briseis, Eugene, Evan, Brissa, Bristol, Evander, Everardo, Britney, Brooke, Everest, Everett, Brooklynn, Brylee, Ewan, Ezekiel, Eziah, Brynlee, Cadence, Caia, Cailyn, Caitlin, Cali, Calista, Caliyah, Faris, Fateh, Felix, Fernando, Fidel, Finley, Dismon, Jordein, Adrana, Briyelle, Valria, Moriyah, Vaessa, Dlilah, Milaia, Haellen, Caemron, Andrex, Malahki, Antoin, Dariox, Callam, Ozcar, Wyla, Aebby, Britella, Miles, Eliab, Emiliana, Alisa, Logan, Saxon, Lemuel, Isham, Kathy, Jonas, Emeline, Hephzibah, Azuba, Harriet, and Catherine watch the nineteen Autobots fight the twelve Vehicon Troopers, Rafael asks, "What are they?"
Sierra answers, "Talking robots that turn into cars and trucks. Or maybe the other way around."
As the Vehicon Troopers fire on Arcee and Jack, a scene transition shows Arcee talking to Jack in the alleyway as she says, "Look, you and your family and friends may be in danger because you are among the few human beings who ever saw us."
In the Autobot base, Optimus comes up and Jack questions, "Why are you guys here?"
Optimus answers, "To protect your planet from Megatron."
For the final part of the recap, Megatron transforms to robot mode as Optimus voices over, "But since his return is imminent, it will undoubtedly be catastrophic."
Megatron says his first words to end the recap, "I have returned."
(End of recap.)
In Nebraska, the Nemesis hovers over a large Energon mine and deploys its yellow-lit cylindrical elevator.
Victoryjump announces, "Out of all the Energon deposits and Energon mines we've managed to locate while you were away, Lord Megatron, this one in particular is the most significant. The drones have been mining without pause during your absence, and they managed to build quite the stockpile."
Victoryjump looks over the whole operation from a ledge.
Victoryjump then calls out to a Miner, "You there! Fetch me a sample!"
Suddenly, Megatron says while walking out of the shadows, "Ironspan. Now that I have returned, I will issue the commands."
Along with Streetroar, Airwheels, Speedgazer, Swiftforce, Duskgazer, Chronoblazer, Steelwinder, Crashheart, Cometwire, Rapidscream, Solarclash, Rapidshot, Flareracer, Magnetvoid, Sunwind, Speedheart, Currentstriker, Blightstrike, Victorysmasher, and Sunroar, out of the shadows came a Decepticon tank soldier sharing the same designs as the Primeverse Shockwave, the Energon Shockblast, and the Dark of the Moon Shockwave walking alongside Megatron, complete with the Shockwave/Shockblast lookalike having both servos on both arms, signifying that this Decepticon scientist had retractable AstroMag Cannons.
Victoryjump remembers that this Shockwave lookalike went by the name of Hub End, and that he was a clone of Shockwave created by other Decepticon scientists in the aftermath of Shockwave's betrayal when Optimus Prime's relatives as well as his old friend Tiderally convinced Shockwave to switch sides by appealing to his sense of logic.
Victoryjump subtly noticed that Counterheader was sitting on Megatron's right shoulder plate, but what secretly confused the Seeker commander was that Megatron didn't seem to mind Counterheader sitting on his shoulder plate.
Victoryjump then mentally realized it was because Megatron allowed it and also allowed Counterheader to accompany him. For what it was, Victoryjump was about to find out in no time.
Megatron walks over to the ledge as Victoryjump replies, "I understand, Lord Megatron."
Megatron stops in his tracks and turns to face his subordinates as he states, "Good to hear, Ironspan. Now, let me explain the new chain of command for our ranks. Ironspan, while you will maintain command over all Decepticon military operations along with our 20 generals, in light of Shockwave's betrayal during the early to middle days of the War for Cybertron, Hub End will be my second in command tasked with leading all of our scientific missions."
Victoryjump asks for clarification while gesturing to himself and Hub End, "So, in essence, what you're saying is we are each required to report directly to you?"
Megatron answers, "Correct."
Megatron continues walking to the ledge as Victoryjump growls under his breath, "(Softly) Completely logical in the long run, my liege."
Hub End then asks, "Is there something you wanted to ask, Ironspan?"
Victoryjump answers before questioning, "Yes, as a matter of fact. Now, Lord Megatron, as your humble servant, shall I ready the Space Bridge to bring forth the Decepticon army you must've gathered during your three stellar cycles in deep space?"
Counterheader adds, "Yes. No offense, my lord, but we all assumed that it was what you were doing all this time."
Megatron stops in his tracks and replies, "Curiosity is no sin, you two. And don't worry, my army will come. But my time away has manifested a more...interesting means of materializing them: (He pulls out a shard of Dark Energon.) the solidified form of the matter that ancient texts referred to as the Blood of Unicron."
Counterheader asks, "Unicron? The planet-eating Bringer of Chaos?"
Hub End adds, "The lord of the undead from ancient days of the universe?"
Victoryjump confirms as he asks in confusion, "The very same. It's said in ancient texts that his blood is the Anti-Spark. Lord Megatron, I'm confused. I thought you acquired control over Dark Energon during the War for Cybertron, long before Trypticon became our ship?"
Megatron explains, "What I took aboard Trypticon during the War for Cybertron was the artificial variant, Ironspan. But this was plucked from the cosmic shores of the Andromeda galaxy. Gaze upon... the actual, organic Dark Energon."
Hub End, Victoryjump, and Counterheader remark one after the other, "Legend has it that Dark Energon has the ability to..." "...revive dead Transformers..." "...as cannibalistic zombies known as Terrorcons."
Megatron replies, "Indeed, it does."
Victoryjump then asks, "But Counterheader and her former siblings, I thought they were the only ones capable of manipulating Dark Energon?"
Megatron replies before asking, "That may be true to an extent. But it will take them more time to fully control it. Now, we require a cadaver to make sure of its properties. A test subject, if you will. Are you willing to make the ultimate sacrifice, Ironspan?"
Counterheader points out, "Master, I don't think it's a good idea to sacrifice one of your own valuable lieutenants seeing as how most of our Energon Seekers and other kinds of Seekers are somewhat limited in numbers. Vehicons excluded."
Victoryjump adds, "Yes, she's right. If I may, Lord Megatron?"
Victoryjump snaps his fingers and a dead Vehicon Trooper is presented as Victoryjump explains, "One of our more recent failures during a fight with the Autobots."
Megatron shrugs, having decided to use this Vehicon Trooper as his Dark Energon test subject.
But then, Megatron has a thought as he asks, "Hub End, do you recall when you were assigned to clone an army of Predacons and send them to Earth to attack all Autobot outposts before we arrived on Earth?"
Hub End replies, "Affirmative, master, I remember like the back of my servo."
Megatron states, "Excellent. Now, I want you to clone a new army of Predacons to supplement the Decepticon army and my army of Terrorcons since, like Shockwave, you are the only one capable of tampering with creation. And I also want you to use fragments of the Predacon bones to create armies of duplicate clones."
Victoryjump and Counterheader went wide-eyed and slack-jawed all at once.
Hub End mentally shudders before replying, "I'll get on that when the first opportunity presents itself, Lord Megatron. The problem is I would need already existing Predacon bones to clone new clones."
Megatron replies back, "I'll assign a team to assist you in finding the specimens you need."
Hub End's mental inner voice snarls, "You big fat motherf(bleep!) (bleep!)hole!"
Meanwhile, in the Autobot base, Optimus Prime finalizes the explanations, "And since you now know of our existences, I fear that as of last night, the Decepticons also know of yours, but thankfully, they are unaware that you all are now techno-organics. Well, most of you, anyway."
Jack replies, "Got it; if we spot any purple EvoJet Concept cars, call 911."
Fortressimus says, "Illogical and completely out of the question. Human weaponry won't affect Transformers unless you use armor-piercing rounds or high explosive sabot rounds aimed for the most sensitive areas with wires and gears, and besides that, unless a human police officer or human soldier is the size of a Transformer and is strong enough and tough enough to withstand vast amounts of pain, you'd be putting the police and the United States military in grave danger."
Ratchet says in agreement, "I agree with you, Fortressimus; aside from those two types of human weaponry, the only kind of weaponry that can damage a Cybertronian is Energon-fueled weaponry."
Jack then asks, "Okay. Now what?"
Suddenly, twelve more techno-organics, six of them boys and six of them girls, turn up in the command center.
One of the boys says, "Optimus, I wanted to let you know that the sprinkler system is still working, but the water is turning dirty."
Optimus replies, "Understood. I'll ask Agent Fowler to replace the dirty water."
Miko asks, "Who are these guys?"
Fortressimus and his crew mentally note that this Transformers Prime reality has merged several aspects of different Transformers Prime realities together, including extra techno-organics in the Autobot ranks before he and his crew came, before his Predacon advancement guard came, before Jetsable and his Predacon family were recruited by Team Prime, before Ironfinder and her new Autobot family unit were recruited, before the discovery of Optimus having three children with Elita One, before the discovery of Optimus' ranks having Autobot versions of Starscream, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Skyquake, and Dreadwing among other turncoats, before the discovery of Tailgate being on Earth alongside Cliffjumper and the rest of Team Prime, before the 15 Seekers and 15 Triple Changers being recruited to the Autobot cause before the start of Darkness Rising Part 1, along with many human soldiers from the Quadwal cluster being reformatted into Transformers after dying in missile explosions, the discovery of Fast Spike and his crew engaged in a fight with armies of generic and normal Decepticons before crashing on Earth, the discovery of a Neutral femme wielding a giant weapon, being immune to Dark Energon and hating humans, the discovery of another Autobot on Earth who was old friends with Optimus and Ratchet, the rescuing of Cliffjumper and a couple of others who could've taken his place as the first and only Autobot casualty on Earth to become a Dark Energon experiment, the mind of a Shockwave lookalike being inhabited by the mind of a future human girl who died on her deathbed in peace, and before Jack and his family and friends were recruited.
Optimus replies while making the introductions, "This is Calla Brackstone, Calliope Bradbourne, Cambria Bradburn, Camden Braddish, Camellia Bradfield, Camila Bradmore, Finn Brailey, Finnegan Brake, Finnian Braley, Finnick Bramner, Fisher Bramsgrove, and Flavio Bramyerde. Also known to us as Gold Shot, Squeezejet, Skydance, Roll High, Grease Cloud, Ironstick, Ripperhandler, Stranglestreak, Highpunch, Kickcomber, Subhold, and Roadbat. They are techno-organics."
Of course, nobody noticed that Fortressimus was using his time manipulation powers to make time outside the base slow down in a fashion similar to a TV program being played in super slow motion.
Rafael questions, "What are techno-organics?"
Calla answers, "Techno-organics are human beings able to take on Cybertronian robotic forms and vice versa. And as a result of being techno-organics, we can consume Energon without being poisoned, as normal humans can easily be poisoned by Energon."
Miko shivered at that.
Fortressimus also takes the opportunity to say, "Oh, and for the 209 of you, you are techno-organics with the ability to switch between your human forms and your Cybertronian forms, at will, any time you desire, for as long as you want."
Cedrix remarks, "Oh, that's good. That means I can still go to school and work."
Jack's classmates, friends, and relatives – including Windcore and except for Jetsable Prime, Shinescythe Prime, Flarebeam Prime, and Heatheart Prime for obviously reasons – shared that sentiment.
After the introductions were made, Ashlida comes in and starts to say before snarling as soon as she sees Sierra, "Hey, Optimus, I just got done training and – (Gasp) YOU!"
Sierra questions in shock, "Ashlida?!"
An explanation later, and Sierra found herself on the receiving side of a tickle torture at the hands of Ashlida for the times the cheerleader gave the mechanic a hard time.
Shaking his head to regain his composure, Jack then asks, "Okay, look, can we go now?"
Miko demands, "Are you insane?! I'm living a dream here in Bot-swana, and I won't allow you or anyone else to shatter it!"
Cedrix deploys an Energon cutlass on his left arm, much to the shock of everyone.
Fortressimus snaps his fingers to attract everyone's attention and he says, "In case you haven't noticed, Miko, the Decepticons aren't going to hesitate to kill us Autobots and anyone affiliated with us, including new recruits like you guys. Besides that, if any of you get seen by Decepticons in your Cybertronian forms with Autobot symbols on your armors or if you were to get spotted in your own Iron Man suits with Autobot symbols on them, the Decepticons won't hesitate to kill you, if they didn't already receive orders from Megatron or Ironspan to capture you for information."
Optimus adds, "Fortressimus is right; it is best that the first two hundred and nine of you remains under our watch and receive combat training from us and it is also best that the rest of you remain under our watch. At least, until we can figure out the rest of our enemies' intentions and until we can find a way for you to join us on the battlefield."
Ratchet points out, "Optimus, with all due respect, our new techno-organics are vulnerable in their human forms right here in the base more than anywhere else. Same with the rest of the humans."
Vince quizzes, "How?"
Ratchet answers, "It's simple: in your human forms, you have no protective shell made of metal. In fact, because the rest of you haven't been made into techno-organics yet for some reason that even Optimus wouldn't tell me, you have no protective shells. Therefore, if any of you gets underfoot, you will go... squish."
Ratchet stomps once to emphasize his point.
Fortressimus inquires, "Do you really want that to happen just because you're xenophobic to humans?"
Everyone started snickering or laughing as Ratchet sputtered, "Pfft! Of course not!"
Optimus replies, "Then, for the time being, Ratchet, if our techno-organics are in their human forms and if our human allies are here in the base as well, we will watch where we step."
Torin then questions, "Fortressimus, why didn't you make the rest of us techno-organics?"
Fortressimus answers reluctantly, "Hhhhaaaa. It's because I wanted to give you a choice in whether or not you wanted to become techno-organic Autobots at sometime in the future."
Torin replies, "Oh. Okay then."
Miko then spies the Forge of Solus Prime in its recharging station and questions excitedly, "What is that?!"
Bulkhead answers, "That is the fabled Forge of Solus Prime. We recovered it from its hiding spot several days ago."
Jack inquires, "So, this is the legendary Forge hammer that can make anything out of any raw material?"
Tangoray Prime answers this time, "Yes. That especially includes the likelihood of being able to create a sword out of pure Energon, or even give any Cybertronian any kind of upgrades."
Rafael queries in curiosity, "In terms of upgrades, what do you mean?"
Darksor replies, "Ranging from new bodies to upgraded transformation cogs that can let us scan multiple vehicles at once."
The kids and June remark in unison, "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..."
Then Fortressimus makes time outside the base go back to normal and the proximity sensor goes off.
Cedrix asks, "What is that?"
Bumblebee answers, "That's the proximity sensor. Someone is on the roof."
Meriya then asks in confusion, "Wait a minute. I thought Bumblebee's voice box was damaged?"
Darksor answers, "Oh, when Bumblebee was given his upgrades by the Forge, his voice box was fixed."
Meriya asks again, "So, if it weren't for the Forge, most of us as techno-organics would be able to understand what Bumblebee says?"
Boris replies, "Apparently so, Mom, considering the fact that as techno-organics, our human brains are acting like Cybertronian computers and enabling us to understand Earth's many languages as well as Cybertronian language."
Ratchet checks the cameras on the roof and announces with a hint of annoyance, "It's Agent Fowler."
Rafael inquires, "Is he some sort of government agent?"
Fortressimus replies, "As a matter of fact, Special Agent William Fowler is indeed a government agent, but he mainly serves as our designated liaison to the outside world. He has already been informed of all of you, including our advancement guard, but without revealing that your classmates are Predacons and other kinds of dragon Transformers. And without revealing that most of you guys are techno-organics. However, Agent Fowler tends to visit only when there are issues, so it may be best if Optimus, me, and the other Primes do all the talking."
Everyone lines up as Agent Fowler steps out of the human-sized freight elevator.
Agent Fowler states, "Seven wrecks, thirty-four fender-benders, a three-hour traffic jam, and of particular note, numerous reports of a speeding blue and pink motorcycle of unknown make, along with a silver and platinum blue ATV, a gray, green, and purple off-road armored car and a black and yellow custom muscle car among other vehicles, including military aircraft. So, anything you care to get off your tin chest, Prime?"
Unfazed, Optimus replies, "We have just welcomed six hundred and forty-two new recruits to our ranks yesterday, Autobots by the names of Magnetstreak, Forcegear, Birdtrack, Tiderally, Steelfist, And we have the situation under control, Agent Fowler."
The liaison asks knowingly, "They're back, right?"
Optimus replies, "Unfortunately, I had doubts that the Decepticons have truly left. Your planet is too valuable due to the various Energon deposits and Energon mines scattered across the world."
Agent Fowler declares, "Then it's time to wake up the Pentagon."
Fortressimus points out, "Agent Fowler, I do not wish to question your judgment, but even the Pentagon must not get involved because of the fact that they are not prepared for this kind of war. To us Transformers, human beings are extremely fragile living creatures with no training against even a Vehicon Trooper. Besides, for example, even a police officer wouldn't last more than fifteen seconds against a Decepticon soldier unless that police officer was the same size as the Decepticon soldier and was strong enough to punch and kick robots made of alien metal without hurting himself. And aside from that, human soldiers aren't exactly going to be able to defeat a Decepticon like Ironspan one on one, no matter how much those soldiers are trained in combat. That alone means that despite human soldiers and mercenaries being heavily trained in human martial arts, Cybertronian martial arts far outrank human martial arts because of their similarities and differences, and because a human piloting a Transformer battle suit wouldn't be able to last long in a fight against someone like Optimus or Megatron."
Optimus adds, "Fortressimus is correct, Agent Fowler; the entirely new and expanded Autobot army is at the present time your best and possibly only defense against the Decepticon army."
Fireimus Prime adds as well, "And besides, aside from the United States military, if the entire world found out about us, there'd be a lot of mass panic worldwide, there'd be many terrorist organizations and rogue CIA operatives who wouldn't hesitate to kill all Transformers regardless of faction allegiance trying to hunt us down for the kill, there'd be certain terrorist organizations who would try to interfere with our war because they won't stop until they acquire Cybertronian technology capable of giving them their own Transformers and/or new weapons to help them dominate the world. And most of all, if the entire world was in a state of mass panic, the Decepticons won't hesitate to launch terrorist attacks on different historical, religious, and cultural cities across the globe to lure us into the open, and as a result, that all in itself will paint all Cybertronians in a negative light, Autobots and Decepticons alike."
Agent Fowler replies rudely, "Says all of you."
Pyrodragon growls ferociously and extends his claws.
Agent Fowler takes a step back in fear, as evidenced by the look of shock and horror on his face.
Fortressimus says in his best authoritive tone, "Pyrodragon, stand down! We Autobots aren't allowed to harm humans! We're not like the Decepticons in that regard."
Pyrodragon growls in response before moving off to the side.
Agent Fowler then quizzes, "Who in Uncle Sam's beard is that?"
Optimus replies, "That is one of our allies, by the name of Pyrodragon. He greatly resembles another of our allies, Scourge, the leader of Animatros the Jungle Planet, one of the lost Cybertronian colony planets cut off by the war."
Blow Saber adds, "The planet Animatros is also called the Jungle Planet because its core is capable of turning vehicular Transformers into animalistic Transformers."
Agent Fowler raises an eyebrow in confusion, prompting Overscreen to briefly explain, "Basically, the core of the Jungle Planet can magically reformat any Transformer with a car or plane mode into a Transformer that turns into a wild animal, a dinosaur, or even a dragon."
And at that prompting, Cryodragon, Mechasaurus, Doublestone, Snapcross, Megacron, Galvacron, Serscream, Predatron, Dragoclaw, Flamebane, Windstalker, Skullsnort, Wingboard, Brimback, Deathtwin, Sinnerlynx, Lazer-Ket, Vertedragon, Hunbreak, Bruti-Gurrr, Trypticus, Bruticon, Dragosling, Megasavage, Galvasavage, Nightyell, Ripdora, Gorgebite, Thrashblight, Bakuking, Windrupture, Dragonrazor, Crashblaze, Wingbash, Freezerboard, Overblaster, Drakebomb, Clobberstrike, Bumbletek, Skulkdora, Gaiglug, Garahydrax, Doradragonus, Buradragon, Steeltimus Exprime, Unistorm, Pyrodragon, Beaklash, Blackblade, Darklash, Fangsnapper, Rot Jaw, Fright Claw, Weird Attack, Heart Wing, South Fangs, Diverazor, Tantrumshock, Dragonreign, Stormicus, Steelskull, Heattron, Winddragon, Blightstalker, Twinsling, Cutstrike, Ripperthroat, Firedrake, Deathatron, Gigawave, and the other Predacons all transformed to their dragon modes, shocking Agent Fowler to the point where he exclaims, "Dragons?! Six hundred and twenty-five of your troops can transform into gold-dern dragons of all things?! I know I might've forgotten, but I still thought you Autobots and Decepticons can only turn into cars and planes?!"
Fortressimus replies, "That maybe so, but like we told you, these guys are the descendants of an ancient race of Cybertronian dragons called Predacons, and Predacons existed long before modern Cybertronians with vehicle modes came into existence."
Agent Fowler holds his head slightly as he says, "You know this is going to be a pain to explain to my superiors at the Pentagon."
Fortressimus replies, "I know. But there's nothing that can be done about it. Every Transformer robot has preferences of what they can transform into. That especially includes military vehicles and Earth's natural wildlife. And on the previous related note, the involvement of the United States military, even as temporary techno-organics, will only result in utter chaos. Perhaps you and the President can condone countless human casualties in a war as serious as this one compared to human wars, Agent Fowler. And I might've as well if I was a techno-organic. Optimus, on the other hand, can't because he deeply cares about human beings."
Agent Fowler replies back while heading back into the elevator, "Then do us all a favor, and handle this, Primes, under the radar. Or I will. And by the way, I want to know, how exactly can your lookalike of the so-called future Predaking and his troops assist you bots on the battlefield without being seen?"
Needleimus answers, "Well, tbh, our Predacons will easily be able to assist us in battles far away from human cities, human towns, and far from anywhere that they might be seen by humans in general. As well as missions that involve being inside an Energon deposit, inside an Energon mine, and/or onboard the Nemesis."
Tangoray then adds, "But based on what we were told, with the Forge of Solus Prime, we can give our Predacons upgraded transformation cogs so that they can scan vehicle modes to hide in plain sight."
Agent Fowler nods and he goes back up to the roof via the elevator.
Bulkhead remarks, "Pretty big ball bearings, for a human."
Jetsable and Optimus explain in unison, "Agent Fowler is merely concerned for his planet, Bulkhead, as he should be." "Agent Fowler is merely worried about the Earth, Bulk, as he should be."
Everyone looked shocked at what they just heard, especially including the twosome who said nearly the exact same thing in unison.
Everyone pushes this aside as Fortressimus points out, "Well, that doesn't change the fact that aside from Ratchet, some of my troops would stop at nothing to teach Agent Fowler a lot of manners. Besides, he's not going to get anywhere with our professional working relationships between our army and the Pentagon if he keeps chirping at us like a malfunctioning scrap droid just because certain things about our future fights with the Decepticons risk our cover being blown."
Optimus vents, clearly in thought.
Birdtrack mutters under her breath, "(Softly) That (bleep!). Nobody talks to their Cybertronian superiors in such a manner and gets away with it. Concerned about their planet, my optics."
Only Optimus and Fortressimus heard Birdtrack, but they decided to push it aside.
Bulkhead then asks while gesturing to a tool in Ratchet's workstation, "Hey, uh, Ratchet, does this tool in your station look important?"
Ratchet answers gruffly, "It is important, Bulkhead. You better be thankful that Pyrodragon and the others had stopped you from ripping it out and crushing it, and you better hope and pray that we have another one in storage, or so help me, (Cybertronian:) I'll pound you into Energon paste and have you do maintenance for a month!"
Meanwhile, back in the Energon mine, Megatron remarks, "Let us see if the power born from darkness can reignite the spark."
Megatron jams the shard of Dark Energon into the Vehicon's spark chamber.
Streetroar, Airwheels, Speedgazer, Swiftforce, Duskgazer, Chronoblazer, Steelwinder, Crashheart, Cometwire, Rapidscream, Solarclash, Rapidshot, Flareracer, Magnetvoid, Sunwind, Speedheart, Currentstriker, Blightstrike, Victorysmasher, Sunroar, Hub End, Victoryjump, and Megatron step back as they watch the Dark Energon shard merge with the dead Vehicon's spark chamber.
The Vehicon's visor glows a deep purple and lets out zombie snarling sounds as it struggles to break free.
The Vehicon Terrorcon eventually breaks free and charges towards two Decepticon Miners aiming their blasters at it.
The Terrorcon tackles the first Miner and pounds on him, making him scream in pain and terror.
The Miner tries shooting at the Terrorcon, but he keeps missing before the Terrorcon bites the blaster off and spits it aside.
Streetroar, Airwheels, Speedgazer, Swiftforce, Duskgazer, Chronoblazer, Steelwinder, Crashheart, Cometwire, Rapidscream, Solarclash, Rapidshot, Flareracer, Magnetvoid, Sunwind, Speedheart, Currentstriker, Blightstrike, Victorysmasher, Sunroar, Hub End, Victoryjump, and Counterheader are aghast at what they're seeing, but Megatron is slowly smirking in interest.
The Miner squirms before the Terrorcon starts crushing the Miner's head.
The second Miner fires multiple shots at the Terrorcon, but only two of the shots connect and they do little damage.
The Terrorcon tackles the second Miner and pounds on him as well.
Victoryjump exclaims, "Master, that's your plan?! Bring our own troops back from the dead to attack us?!"
Megatron replies, "That is no longer a Decepticon – just a mindless beast, and its only instinct is to kill every living thing in its path."
The Terrorcon snarls and charges towards Megatron.
Victoryjump leaps over to the side and Counterheader jumps from Megatron's shoulder plate to Victoryjump's shoulder plate.
Hub End readies his arm cannon and the Decepticon generals ready their blasters and sharp weaponry.
Unfazed, Megatron deploys his sword from underneath his Fusion Cannon and slices the Terrorcon in half in an upper left angle.
The Terrorcon stops at the ledge before the two halves start sparking and they fall off the ledge.
Megatron retracts his sword and remarks, "There, my fellow Decepticons, is nothing short of the rise of the indestructible seed of my new Terrorcon army. The ultimate weapon... the Terrorcon."
The upper half of the Terrorcon snarls, but Megatron kicks it down to a lower level.
Megatron concludes his monologue, "Once I learn how to control it properly. And the moment I do, soon your siblings will be joining us, Counterheader."
Counterheader remarks, "Oh, I'm definitely looking forward to it, Lord Megatron."
Of course, Counterheader intentionally neglected to tell her master that her former siblings are holding a grudge against her for killing their parents, and her oldest sister wants nothing more than to get her murderous revenge settled, for lack of a better term.
Counterheader mentally remarks, "Either my siblings kill me, or Megatron brainwashes them into serving our cause. Either way, only one of us in those regards is going to walk away alive. And it ain't going to be any of my former siblings since they want me dead so bad."
Megatron then says, "Hub End, return to your laboratory. I'll assign some troops to prepare your off-site laboratory for Predacon cloning."
Hub End replies, "Yes, Lord Megatron."
Hub End takes the elevator to the Nemesis.
Megatron then says, "Streetroar, Airwheels, Speedgazer, Swiftforce, Duskgazer, Chronoblazer, Steelwinder, Crashheart, Cometwire, Rapidscream, Solarclash, Rapidshot, Flareracer, Magnetvoid, Sunwind, Speedheart, Currentstriker, Blightstrike, Victorysmasher, and Sunroar, return to your posts on the ship. I will let you know when we are ready for departure."
The twenty generals reply in unison, "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron." "Yes, Lord Megatron."
In the Autobot base, Fortressimus is explaining to the techno-organics and the humans all about the history of the Transformers franchise in the Quadwal cluster.
After about ten minutes of explaining the basics of the Transformers franchise and answering questions about the things from the franchise that upset a lot of fans and even made some of them rage quit, Fortressimus is asked by Miko, "So, why do you look like a combination of Optimus from the 2007 movie and from Age of Extinction/The Last Knight?"
Fortressimus replies, "Well, I don't really know for sure, Miko. But I do think that Primus granted me this body to set me apart from Optimus here in this universal cluster and so we can all be able to tell the differences between our tone pitches and our designs. And also because I liked seeing the Tyran cluster version of Optimus as a Knight of Iacon."
Rafael then questions, "So, in certain forms of the Transformers franchise, there's Cybertronian knights?"
Fortressimus answers, "Yes. In particular, Transformers Age of Extinction introduced the Dinobots as knights as well as giving Optimus' counterpart a new robot form resembling a knight. And that film seriously unnerved Transformers fans by having Lockdown kill Ratchet. Having Cemetery Wind killing Autobots and Decepticons alike thanks to Harold Attinger and James Savoy. Having the President's aide at the time being dense, dumb, and oblivious as hell. Introducing only four Dinobots. Having no additional Autobots showing up which would include fliers. Having Megatron returning from the dead as Galvatron. Having the people working for KSI melting down dead Autobots and Decepticons alike to create their own Transformers. And having the human race in the film franchise in general having a general distrust for the Autobots just because of them faking their death to prevent the Decepticons from following through on their global threat in Dark of the Moon, just because of millions in Chicago, Illinois dying in the Decepticon invasion, just because of Sentinel Prime's betrayal for the sake of seeing Cybertron revived, just because of the collateral damage to Chicago, just because of the men in Earth's governments failing their people just because they were more concerned about Sentinel's global threat than worrying about how to plan stealthy retaliation, and just because of the general population being paranoid about how many other Autobots and Decepticons will arrive on Earth and how many other human casualties will happen in the coming battles. That all in itself is because in the live action movies, the human race became heavily involved with the Great War thanks to Blackout attacking the SOCCENT Forward Operations Military Base, thanks to Frenzy attacking Air Force One, thanks to Sector 7 being terminated by President Bush, Jr. to cover up the Battle for Mission City, and thanks to the Transformers existence being revealed to the world because of The Fallen's worldwide demand to hand over Sam or else the world would be destroyed. But thankfully enough, a writer in the Quadwal cluster made a fanfiction story featuring the women in the governments of the world succeeding the men who failed their countries and their world by listening to Sentinel Prime's bluffing threat that Megatron would probably try to make happen."
Of course, what they didn't know was that Ratchet was listening to the entire discussion and was recording it to show to Optimus and all the other Autobots under Optimus' command. As well as to show to other Autobots when they arrive on Earth, including the Aerialbots, the Protectobots, the Technobots, and Elita One among others.
Fortressimus continues, "But anyway, the fifth Transformers film, The Last Knight, would go on to feature a new Autobot combiner group. These mechs were known as the Guardian Knights of Iacon. They were among the Cybertronians to be in defiance against the Quintesson sorceress and manipulator, Quintessa. She had plans to drain energy out of the Earth itself to revive Cybertron just because Earth was housing Unicron in his planet form, but none of the films provided any explanation whatsoever."
Rafael asks, "Why not?"
Darksor answers before explaining further, "Because both Age of Extinction and The Last Knight didn't do well in their performances at the box office, and therefore all plans for a sequel to The Last Knight were permanently cancelled. But anyway, when the Guardian Knights stole Quintessa's control staff needed for her ignition chamber to drain Unicron's life force, they fled to Earth and formed an alliance with King Arthur's court while simultaneously helping them defeat the Saxons through the Knights' ability to combine into the three-headed Predacon-esque dragon known to friend and foe alike as... drum roll, please... (Fortressimus makes a drum roll sound effect.) Dragonstorm!"
Miko remarks, "COOL! A three-headed dragon?!"
Darksor answers, "Oh, yes, Miko, Dragonstorm is a combiner mode dragon, hence his name. And the fun fact is, Dragonstorm doesn't always require all 12 Guardian Knights to form his dragon mode."
Miko looked ready to faint happily.
Fortressimus then says, "Anyway, after the Saxons were defeated, the Knights of the Round Table and the Knights of Iacon shared a mighty sword, spear, axe, and other medieval weapon salute while saying for the first time their ancestral motto: with no sacrifice, there can truly be no victory. And when the Guardian Knights gave Merlin Quintessa's staff, it encrypted his DNA so that only anyone in his family bloodline in the past and the future can remove it from his corpse crypt aboard the Knight Ship. And of course, the Guardian Knights up until the final battle for The Last Knight have always lived by this motto in their mission to protect Earth and destroy Quintessa: Seglass Ni Tonday. Also known in English as, '"With your dying breath, protect the staff."' Sounds incredible, huh?"
Everyone made vocals of agreement.
Ratchet mentally remarks, "Hmm. Seglass Ni Tonday, also known as with your dying breath, protect the staff? Sounds like something to consider when we meet these Guardian Knights of Iacon."
Suddenly, the computer starts beeping to alert everyone of the Energon mine and the Dark Energon signal.
As the other Autobots rush into the command center to find out what's going on, Ratchet announces, "Optimus, Fortressimus, we've just detected a large Energon mine in Nebraska, and... something I can't explain."
Fortressimus explains, "Megatron used a dead Vehicon Trooper to test the Dark Energon he brought from the Andromeda galaxy."
As she looks around at the Autobots somehow giving off the impression of paling from blood loss, Miko asks, "What's Dark Energon?"
Blow Saber explains, "A purple form of Energon that can bring dead Transformers back to life, as cannibalistic zombies called Terrorcons. (Miko gasps in shock.) And before you ask, Miko, no, you can't come with us. Not just yet."
Silverimus Prime adds, "I agree. Given the fact that all four of you don't have Cybertronian forms of your own and given the fact that you also don't have enough combat experience to go up against even a Tank Vehicon Trooper as a Cybertronian or as a human soldier in an Iron Man suit, further training is required before you are battle ready and before we can use the Forge of Solus Prime along with watches that the United States armed forces use to give you four Iron Man suits."
Buzzimus Prime, an Autobot commander who resembles a combination of the Animated Optimus Prime, the Cybertron Optimus Prime, and the Dark of the Moon Sentinel Prime, concludes the explanation, "Furthermore, we Autobots live on Earth as robots in disguise. Because of this, in order to prevent mass panic from spreading among the human population since they aren't ready to accept aliens among them, the two hundred and nine of your associates as techno-organics with the ability to access their own Cybertronian forms will need to scan Earth-based vehicle modes."
Darksor adds as well, "And not only that, but also, even for a techno-organic, prolonged exposure to Dark Energon makes you lethargic and vulnerable to getting torn apart by an army of Terrorcons. And to top it off, anyone infused with Dark Energon while they're still alive will be able to control the Terrorcon hordes while all deceased Cybertronians infused with Dark Energon will be unable to pass onto the Allspark until that source of Dark Energon is completely destroyed."
Optimus states, "I agree with all of you. Pyrodragon, you and the others stay here with our human allies and our new techno-organic recruits and have them scan different vehicles for their frame types."
Pyrodragon replies, "Yes sir."
Optimus then looks over at Artemesio and the techno-organic says, "If you're heading to the Energon mine, you may want to take some of your trailers with you to acquire as much Energon as you can."
Blowwolf adds, "I heartedly concur; if Ironspan alerts Megatron of your presence in the mine, Ironspan will be ordered to blow up the mine with a bomb."
Optimus then says, "Very well. Ratchet, prepare the sick-bay. We may need it since we are dealing with Dark Energon."
Optimus and the other Primes slide on their battle masks.
Fortressimus then says to his new associates brought by Primus five days ago, "Dinostop, Breaksiren, Freezevortex, Widejaw, Ripflow, Hardclutch, Grooveblitz, Windkick, Armorraker, Cliffcircuit, Magmatrap, Tigerbuster, Cannonbird, Starbrawn, Smokestream, Grandcast, Hyperbeast, Flashwheels, Freezesiren, Cliffburner, Stalkergrim, Grimhaul, Riderstalker, Dreadwild, Wilddread, Hornblast, Shadowwind, Wavefire, Wavewind, Worldcharger, Warbeam, Acidflyer, Ionflyer, Novaflyer, Ironfall, Roadvoid, Greasecone, Laserplex, Nightbug, Octo Leo, Superspray, Metro Daddy, Wingslinger, Doublestun, Spaceslinger, Slughairs, Deadburn, Side End, Deceptiways, Sideride, Wreckbreaker, Overzap, Deadamuck, Deadabout, Runloose, Blue Rage, Savagesweep, Wreckquake, and Flyworks, make sure that any Energon we acquire gets transported to the base safely."
Fortressimus' associates nods in agreement.
Miko pouts at having to stay behind, but her brain was wracked with horror as she realizes that the Autobots were right; since she and her family and friends are dealing with Dark Energon right now, there's little doubt that she and the others would possibly get turned into techno-organic Terrorcons if they ever died while foolishly fighting Megatron. Along with the fact that she, Jack, Rafael, and June don't even have Iron Man suits powerful enough to take on any Decepticons.
And Miko knew that if this was the case, if her sister and the other techno-organics were resurrected by Dark Energon as techno-organic Terrorcons, that would make it harder to kill them in terms of durability and the Autobots would have to break their rule of not killing humans to prevent them from causing irreparable harm.
As Ratchet activates the Ground Bridge, Optimus declares, "Autobots, roll out!"

Jack quizzes, "What-what just happened?"
Ratchet replies, "I transported them to the designated coordinates via the Ground Bridge."
Rafael inquires, "What's a Ground Bridge?"
Roughwing answers, "Um, you see that giant swirling vortex? That's what the Ground Bridge is. And it's also a scaled-down version of a Space Bridge. Normally, a Space Bridge would allow us to teleport ourselves from one galaxy to another, but right now, we don't have the resources we need to transport our forces back to Cybertron. It takes centuries to master Space Bridge engineering and building. Sadly, because no one is more accomplished in that regard than the Decepticons, we're simply stuck here on Earth, with many people that I'm pretty sure Ratchet wouldn't ever want to meet."
Ratchet looks at the Dark of the Moon Seeker Air Raid-lookalike with a stunned expression.
Roughwing states casually, "Correct me if I'm wrong, Ratchet."
The Autobot CMO replies before explaining further, "No, he's got it right. But I built the Ground Bridge to enable travel from here in the base to anywhere on Earth."
Rafael remarks in awe before questioning, "Whoa. Does it work for humans?"
Sky Alert replies, "It does, but it'll take some getting used to."
Miko quizzes, "Okay, but that aside, you mean I could just shoot on over and visit my hometown of Tokyo?"
Ratchet responds with, "Within moments. In fact, allow me to send you there immediately, all of you."
Juith brandishes a katana and warns, "Don't bite off more than you can chew, Ratchet."
Firesonic then says as well, "But, on the bright side, with the Forge of Solus Prime, we easily have mastered the ability to travel interstellar distances."
The kids and June remark in unison, "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..."
Soon, Pyrodragon provided the techno-organics with different vehicle modes. And because they resembled specific Autobots and Decepticon in terms of Grounders, Fliers, Triple Changers, Four Changers, Communicators, Powerdashers, and so forth with no Insecticons, Dinobots and Predacons, the techno-organics scanned the same vehicles that their lookalikes transform into.
In the Energon mine, the somewhat humongous outnumbering army Autobots consisting of Grounders, Multi-Changers, and Aerialbots all emerge from the Ground Bridge in vehicle mode. After they appear, they stop, they transform to robot mode, and they brandish their blasters, cannons and other kinds of firearms.
Bulkhead looks at the Energon crystal and he remarks in observation, "Wait a minute. This place is an Energon mine, just like Ratchet said."
Optimus theorizes, "Judging by its size, the Decepticons have apparently been tunneling here for quite some time."
Then, everyone gets to cover and they see hundreds to thousands of Decepticon Miners mining the Energon crystals.
Fortressimus deploys Holebomb and his partner, Roll Shop, who turns into a multiplication beam gun.
Fortressimus then says, "Optimus, Bumblebee, Arcee, Bulkhead, Cliffjumper, Tailgate, Clippoint, Tiderally, Steelfist, help me deal with the Miners. The rest of you, mine the rest of the Energon as fast as you can and have Ratchet and the others bring the Energon to base."
Everyone replied either, "Yes sir!" or "Understood."
The Autobot deployment leaves their cover and approaches the Decepticon Miners, who immediately spot them, and the resulting firefight commences.
While Fortressimus Prime is reprogramming the majority of the one-time duplicating Decepticon Miners and then multiplying them a lot of times, the other Autobots were either killing off the rest of the Miners or mining the Energon as fast as possible while opening a Ground Bridge to the base, where everyone else is helping with bringing the Energon into the base, including the techno-organics.
An Energon drill comes up towards Bulkhead, but he bashes it aside with his wrecking ball.
Arcee rushes forward and blasts a Miner, tackling him in the process.
Another Miner tries to jump Arcee, but she jumps onto the Miner's shoulders and she spins around so fast and so hard that her feet decapitates the Miner.
Bumblebee rushes towards a Miner in vehicle mode, he jumps an elevated ramp-like piece of the floor, transforms back to robot mode, and blasts a Miner before tackling him to the ground.
Bumblebee jumps out of the way of another Energon drill.
Optimus grabs the drill, holds it up and shoots it.
Optimus shoots another Miner before jumping forward as another one tries to shoot underneath him, only to miss.
Bulkhead tackles the same Miner in vehicle mode before transforming to robot mode and smashing the drone with his wrecking ball.
Clippoint slices up multiplying Decepticon Miners at the source and shooting up some Decepticon Snipers that tried to sneak up on the Autobot team.
Tiderally slices and shoots Decepticon Miners left and right if they couldn't be reprogrammed due to having evaded the harpoons.
Tiderally even skewered at least one Miner and shot at the Energon crystals that the Miner was skewered on.
Tiderally remarks, "Never play with fire, kids, because you could get burned."
Fortressimus replies, "HA!"
Fortressimus alternates between reprogramming the multiplying Miners and slicing up the others that dodged the reprogramming harpoons with his knight sword, the Sword of Judgement.
Meanwhile, in the Autobot base, as the Predacons continue loading the Energon through the Ground Bridge, Windcore emerges, carrying two crates of Energon due to the fact that she was taking advantage of her new superhuman strength and testing her first limits of her superhuman strength.
Ratchet then comes up and says, "Excellent work, Autobots. You're all doing wonderful."
Jumpwind comes up with a crate of Energon and replies while walking to the Energon Storage Vault, "I couldn't agree more, Ratchet."
As Windcore goes to the Energon Storage Vault as well, Fixblade comes across a piece of machinery and quizzes, "Ratchet, what is this?"
Ratchet replies, "That's broken. Don't touch it."
Fixblade moves away from the broken machinery.
Ratchet then says with his back turned, "Good to know you're as responsible as Jack."
Jack comes up and quizzes, "Is there anything in here that we can touch?"
Cryodragon comes up and answers, "Well, there's the computers, if you were a computer expert like Bombback. But there's nothing else except for the TV, movies, and games reserved for the other humans who occasionally helped the other Autobots on the battlefield before we all came along. Fortressimus and his army included."
Just as Ratchet was about to say something, an error box appeared on the main screen.
Bombback questions, "Why are you guys using human computers?"
Ratchet replies, "It certainly isn't by our choice to use them. They were handed down from the previous tenants when we inherited this former Cold War missile silo for our base. I make modifications as I see fit."
As Ratchet says that, he presses a button, and more error boxes appear on the monitors, making him groan in annoyance.
Rafael climbs up to the level with the base computers connected to the monitors and the Ground Bridge and he states before plugging his laptop into one of the base computers, "I believe I might be able to fix that."
Ratchet asks skeptically while giving Rafael a look, "Really? You do know that this is complex technology, don't you? I mean, it's not a child's toy."
Rafael types a command into the laptop and says, "Now, try it."
Ratchet presses a button, and the error boxes are replaced with access granted boxes before the monitors return to normal.
Ratchet looks at Rafael in astonishment.
Mechasaurus comes up and remarks, "Never judge a book by its cover or a person from the outside, Ratchet."
Ratchet slowly nods in understanding.
Shadowaxe then questions, "While we're at it, Ratchet, can you show me how the Ground Bridge works? I've always been fascinated with alien technology hundreds to millions of years ahead of Earth."
Ratchet looked shocked but he composed himself as he answers, "Of course, Shadowaxe. I can tell that you and some others like you are respectful of people unfamiliar to you. Including sentient alien robots."
While the others were busy with handling the Energon, Ratchet began explaining to Shadowaxe how the Ground Bridge works.
Meanwhile, back in the Energon mine, as the last crates of Energon are shipped to the Autobot base, another driving Energon drill tries to smash into Bulkhead, but he smashes his wrecking ball down on the drill, tipping it upward and launching its driver, only for him to get blasted by Optimus.
Clippoint then took out another Miner by draining him of Energon in rapid succession thanks to her Energon Harvester Shotgun, harvesting the Energon from the Miner to multiply it and transfer some of it into her frame.
Tiderally remarks, "Well, that was a little bit too easy."
Cliffjumper replies, "Yeah, but something in my robotic gut tells me that the next deployment of Miners won't be easy to defeat in robot mode."
As the Autobots retract their weapons, the rest of their team joins them while the new Autobot Miners are transported to base.
Suddenly, a bigger army of multiplying Miners and singular drills appears.
The Grounder Autobots charge as Optimus calls out, "Maximum overdrive!" and they transform to vehicle mode and they drive towards the Miners at maximum speed.
Tiderally exclaims, "OH YEAH!"
The Decepticon Miners shoot at the Autobots, but considering their poor aim combined with how fast the Autobots were driving and Fortressimus and his army being invulnerable, it was only a matter of time before the Miners were run over.
Of particular note, Optimus did two continuous speed turns to knock over Decepticon Miners while simultaneously knocking over an Energon drill and making the Miner driving it fly.
Bumblebee and Bulkhead smash into the Miner, making him lose an arm and a leg.
The Grounder Autobots continue driving while the other Grounders, the Aerialbots, the Multi-Changers, and the Predacons continue shipping the crates of Energon to base.
Upon driving into the main area of the mine where the cylindrical elevator is, the Grounder Autobots quietly transform and they quietly stop and take cover.
Everyone takes a gander at the Miners hard at work.
The other Autobots come on the scene, including the reprogrammed Miners and Vehicon Troopers and sans Ratchet and the techno-organics.
The reason why there are now Autobot Vehicon Troopers in the mine is because Fortressimus used his conjuration powers granted by Primus and the Allspark Matrix combined with the Allspark Matrix's connection to the actual Allspark to create Autobot Vehicons.
And if that wasn't bad enough for the Decepticon Miners, Fortressimus used his powers to create and/or bring into this universe different types of Autobot troops and reprogrammed Decepticon troops. As soon as thirteen thousand, nine hundred and eighty-nine of each generic soldier type piled in, Bulkhead remarks with a whispering whistle, "Quite an operation."
Unfortunately, the Miners heard him as they opened fire, prompting the Autobots to shoot back.
The Miners were either shot down or reprogrammed and multiplied alongside the other generic soldiers that Fortressimus either created or brought into the current crossover timeline.
Meanwhile, onboard the Nemesis, in the chamber that would eventually become the room housing the Insecticon hive, Megatron and Counterheader stood staring at the giant crystals of Dark Energon, with Counterheader hovering next to her master thanks to her Energon Seeker class Scientist leg stabilizers giving her the ability to fly in human form and in robot mode.
Megatron quizzes, "It's amazing, isn't it, Counterheader?"
Counterheader replies, "It's undoubtedly one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen, my lord, don't get me wrong. But exactly how can something like this flow through my bloodstream if I was born human first?"
Megatron answers with a hint of slight disgust, "It is how you were created by your Earth parents. As I explained to you, you and your surrogate siblings were given life for a purpose. I may not know what that purpose is right now, but I do plan to make it come true. Once we convince your surrogate siblings to join our ranks, that is."
Counterheader replies, "You told me that on the day we first met, my liege, and still we don't know if we're going to find out what that purpose is."
Megatron replies back, "Be patient; we will find out before we know it."
Megatron then turns his full attention to the Dark Energon crystals and remarks, "Blood of Unicron, how might I learn the depths of your mystery and become chosen to wield your astonishing power?"
Suddenly, a nearby computer turns on, and Victoryjump shows up on the screen.
Victoryjump says from the computer, "Lord Megatron. A big army of intruders have been detected in the mines."
Megatron asks, "Optimus is there? And have the troops found the 4 Predacons we detected but were unable to search for?"
Victoryjump replies before adding, "Indeed, Optimus is there with his troops. No, the troops couldn't find any sign of the 4 Predacons we wanted to recruit. And it gets worse; the Autobots have lots of new recruits that look like Grounders, Aerialbots, Triple Changers, Four Changers, Six Changers, and even generic foot soldiers."
Counterheader bemoans, "More Autobots? This isn't good at all."
Megatron replies before ordering, "Agreed, Counterheader. I need more time to prepare an appropriate reception for my old friend. Prepare the Nemesis for departure."
Counterheader and Victoryjump looked shocked at Megatron's order.
Counterheader points out, "But the Energon Commander Ironspan has mined – the Autobots will take it all."
Victoryjump adds, "She's right, Lord Megatron!"
Megatron replies with a clenched fist and a scowl, "Then blow the Energon mine to smithereens!"
Inside the mine, Fortressimus spots the halved Terrorcon and says, "I see a half of a Vehicon Trooper Terrorcon at twelve o'clock high on one of the higher platforms. I was right; Megatron used one of his recent failures for an experiment. I need a sample of Dark Energon for Ratchet to analyze."
Optimus replies before saying, "Understood. Arcee, we'll cover you while you obtain the sample. Go!"
Arcee jumps out of cover, transforms to vehicle mode, and starts driving up the elevated ramp.
Getting enough momentum to the top, Arcee jumps, transforms to robot mode, and uses several flips to jump to the platform.
Upon seeing the halved Terrorcon, Arcee is aghast at what she saw as she realizes Fortressimus Prime was telling the truth.
Getting out a Cybertronian equivalent of a turkey baster, Arcee collects enough liquid Dark Energon for Ratchet to analyze.
Putting it in her subspace compartment, Arcee takes cover as the platform gets shot to the point of breaking apart, with the Terrorcon on it.
The Terrorcon falls down to the Energon crystals, where some of the sharp points skewer the Terrorcon, killing it permanently.
Arcee jumps down and hands Fortressimus the sample while saying, "Here's your sample, sir."
Fortressimus takes it and pockets it.
Suddenly, a maniacal laugh and a scream of pain are heard from upstairs.
A Decepticon Seeker looking like Ironspan but in different colors remarks as he holds up Galaxyscream's corpse, "It's been stellar cycles since I got to destroy Autobots, and now, you join your friends in the Allspark."
Galaxyscream mutters weakly, "F... f... frag you, Steelway."
Steelway sneers, "You talk too much."
Steelway removes his clawed hand from Galaxyscream's chestplate and the Aerialbot falls to the bottom of the mine.
Chronomaster snarls, "Steelway, you'll pay for this!"
Steelway smirks as he replies, "I sincerely doubt it."
Victoryjump shows up holding a bomb and he remarks, "Prime! So, you have a lot of more new recruits, eh? And Tiderally and Steelfist? How are the both of you still online? You're supposed to be destroyed, corroding in the darkness of space."
Tiderally remarks, "Ah, Ironspan. How is my favorite femme doing these days?"
Some of the Autobots snickered except for Optimus, even though he slightly found it funny.
Victoryjump remarks again, "We'd stick around, but we're squeamish."
Victoryjump arms the bomb and Steelway jumps down alongside his Seeker Commander, the both of them briefly freefalling before transforming to jet mode and blasting off to the Nemesis.
As the bomb continues beeping, Bulkhead calls out, "Carver was right; the place is gonna blow!"
Optimus declares, "We have what we came for! Autobots, roll out!"
Fortressimus retrieves Galaxyscream's corpse and everyone transforms to vehicle mode and they drive and fly back to the open Ground Bridge as fast as possible, by using their quickly-recharged Maximum Overdrive abilities.
The bomb beeps a few more times before beeping quickly and before detonating, blowing up the Energon and causing a cave-in in the main area of the former mine.
Everyone manages to get through, but when Ratchet sees the blue fire just about to burn Optimus, he quickly closes the Ground Bridge.
Optimus transforms back to robot mode, and does an incredible flip to avoid the dissipating fire.
Ratchet states before questioning, "Cutting it a bit close. What happened?"
Silverimus Prime answers while revealing Optimus' trailers to be full of Energon, "Ironspan was ordered to blow up the mine to prevent us from seizing anymore Energon, even though we already got more than enough for our Matter Duplicators and for our cloning machines to clone more and more Energon millions of times. And before you ask, Miko, that's what the source of the explosion was. And no, you cannot come with next time, because we haven't even gotten Agent Fowler's permission to get the watches U.S. soldiers use so we can use the Forge of Solus Prime to give you, Jack, Rafael, and June Darby among others Iron Man suits to help us in battle."
Miko deflates at that.
Ratchet turns his attention to see, much to his shock and horror, Galaxyscream being carried by Fortressimus, completely offline.
Fortressimus magically snaps his fingers and Galaxyscream is magically revived with his puncture wound repaired completely.
Galaxyscream takes a sharp intake before coughing harshly.
Eventually getting his systems cleared, Galaxyscream hugs Fortressimus while saying, "Oh, Primus, I thought I was going to die!"
Fortressimus replies, "Calm yourself, Galaxyscream, everything's alright."
Galaxyscream releases his hug and Fortressimus turns to face Chronomaster.
Fortressimus states assuringly, "Don't worry, Chronomaster. Wherever on the Nemesis Steelrally is, I'll assign Jetsable to get rid of him."
Even Optimus could feel a shiver running down his spinal strut at the underlying tones of Fortressimus' offer.
Pushing the matter aside, Optimus asks, "Arcee, what did you see?"
Arcee answers a little shaken up by what she saw, "A half of a Vehicon Trooper... but it wasn't a generic soldier both sides used anymore. It was mutated, butchered like something from those Decepticon experiments during the Great War."
Fortressimus then reveals the Dark Energon sample and says, "In any case, I have a sample of Dark Energon for you to analyze, Ratchet."
Ratchet gingerly takes the sample and asks, "Did either of you get this on yourselves?"
Arcee replies, "No, we thankfully didn't."
Ratchet points out, "All the same, go take a decontamination bath now. We can't be too careful."
Fortressimus replies respectfully, "Understood."
Suddenly, Arcee falls over in a daze.
Bumblebee asks worriedly, "Arcee, are you alright?"
Arcee is helped onto a crate as she answers, "I'm fine, just dizzy."
Miko asks, "Robots who get dizzy?"
Rafael adds, "Robots with emotions."
Jack concludes, "Robots who can die."
Needleimus Prime states sternly, "How dumb are you three?! (The kids gasp in unison.) If you put our anatomies aside, we're not that much different from each other!"
Everyone goes slack-jawed at what Needleimus had to say.
Ratchet scans Arcee and sees Dark Energon on her left wrist guard as he inquires to Optimus, "So, that's Dark Energon?"
Optimus answers, "Yes, Ratchet."
Fortressimus takes a look and theorizes, "Apparently, Arcee got some splattered on herself when I was collecting the sample, and we apparently didn't see it until now."
Ratchet scraps the goop off of Arcee's wrist guard and both Fortressimus and Arcee head to the decontamination chambers, escorted by Starscream and Cliffjumper.
Jack then says, "Optimus, um, I hate to bug, but no bars."
Optimus explains, "A security precaution. The silo walls isolate all radio waves to prevent the Decepticons from finding us."
June then points out, "Well, me and Eddie won't always be here with Jack on the frontlines after the majority of us get our Iron Man suits, so if he can't call us, we'll be worried sick."
Optimus quizzes, "Why is that?"
Skullsor explains, "Because it's about the kids' curfews. They have to be home at a specific time so that they can be prepared to sleep in advance for school and/or work. And if a child is not home in time for their curfew, they'll get in trouble."
Rafael's mother, Rosa Esquivel, points out, "Si, and if it weren't for us being among your ranks, Rafael would've been grounded for a year for missing curfew multiple times."
Optimus remarks before saying, "Earth customs. I hadn't considered that. But the issue of your safeties in human form still remains. Bulkhead, accompany Miko home."
Miko remarks, "Awesome! My neighbors will freak!"
Optimus finishes, "And maintain discreet surveillance in vehicle mode."
Bulkhead replies, "Curbside duty. Got it."
Miko whines, "Aw!"
Steelskull points out, "Miko, we have to remain a secret, remember?"
Miko groans in annoyance.
Optimus continues, "Bumblebee, you will watch over Rafael."
Rafael and Bumblebee looked like they were pleased with this arrangement.
Optimus then starts to say, "Ratchet—"
But Ratchet interrupts while saying with a talk to the hand gesture as Fortressimus and Arcee exit the decontamination chambers, "Busy!"
Optimus then says, "Arcee, you will accompany Jack."
Arcee sighs in response before replying, "All right."
Optimus then says, "Cliffjumper, you will watch over Vincent. And Slapscreen, you will maintain guardianship over Sierra."
Later, in the Darby residence, Jack and his family goes into their house and they close the garage for the night, with Arcee recharging in the garage in vehicle mode.
The next morning, Arcee revs her engine multiple times.
Jack admonishes in a whisper, "(Softly) Shh! Are you crazy?! You'll wake up everyone else!"
Arcee states in response, "Grab your gear; it's go time."
Jack replies, "It's Saturday!"
Arcee replies back, "You can watch cartoons back at base with Bumblebee."
Jack scoffs, "Cartoons? I'm sixteen years old."
Jack goes to retrieve his gear and Arcee calls out, "And leave a note for your parents; they worry!"
Meanwhile, on the Nemesis, Megatron stood in front of the Dark Energon chamber, with Counterheader sitting in front of it and with Victoryjump and Hub End standing just a few feet away.
Victoryjump says, "I don't believe that you need to worry about any further Autobot interference, Master. Not with Optimus and his army gone."
Megatron questions skeptically, "And what evidence do you have of this fact?"
Victoryjump replies, "I destroyed the mine, as you ordered me to."
Hub End points out, "That is highly illogical."
Counterheader asks, "He's right; don't you realize that makes you sound naïve, Commander Ironspan?"
Victoryjump quizzes in reply, "What makes you both say that, by any chance?"
Megatron explains, "They're right, Ironspan; Optimus is not so easily destroyed. We have millions of stellar cycles' worth of fights in the past to prove it."
Megatron turns to face the Dark Energon.
Hub End suggests, "Lord Megatron, excuse my impudence, but perhaps it would be the logical choice to spend some time away from the Dark Energon before your clarity of thought diminishes."
Victoryjump adds, "For once, I agree with Hub End, my liege; perhaps it would be best for you to take a break. I worry that too much contact with the Dark Energon crystals might allow its properties to adversely affect you."
Megatron replies, "Or perhaps, Ironspan and Hub End, I have not permitted myself contact enough!"
Megatron suddenly breaks a piece of the Dark Energon off the main crystal.
Counterheader exclaims, "MY LORD, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
As Megatron holds the Dark Energon shard high above his head, Victoryjump exclaims as well, "WAIT! LORD MEGATRON, NO! NOT YOUR SPARK CHAMBER! YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT IT WILL DO TO YOUR SYSTEMS!"
But Megatron just shoves the shard into his spark chamber.
Suddenly, parts of Megatron's armor glows purple and Megatron starts convulsing with deep groaning while looking up.
Victoryjump and Counterheader step back as Megatron's optics turn purple and he starts to scream in agonizing pain.
In the Autobot base, Ratchet is continuing to analyze the Dark Energon sample with Blow Saber's assistance as he was a medic and a scientist in the Quadwal cluster here in the Uniend cluster before becoming an Autobot during the outbreak of the Great War.
Ratchet remarks, "Hmm. The base elements of this Dark Energon goo are unlike anything I've ever encountered. It must be extremely concentrated to the point where it should've affected Fortressimus Prime rapidly at the same time as Arcee, but it didn't. Any ideas as to why, Blow Saber?"
The Tyran cluster Ratchet lookalike answers, "I believe that me, Fortressimus and our army are the first Transformers to be completely and permanently immune to the effects of Dark Energon. And yet, based on our foreknowledge, nobody is truly immune to Dark Energon. Not even Primus."
Ratchet looks at his ally and replies back, "You may be right about that. (He takes out a set of pliers to move the liquid Dark Energon in a petri dish to the decontamination chamber.) Fortunately, complete results are fast-coming when it comes to the use of proper diagnostic tools. I must remember to thank Fortressimus for talking down Agent Fowler since I now know that Agent Fowler continuing to chirp at Optimus like a malfunctioning scrap droid would've resulted in Bulkhead breaking another one of my tools."
Unbeknownst to everyone else, Fortressimus is in the desert in vehicle mode, watching the whole thing thanks to his connection to the cameras in the base.
Fortressimus remarks to no one in particular, "Well, I certainly aim to please, Ratchet."
Fortressimus continues driving along the desert.
Fortressimus then mentally remarks, "Well, at least Optimus and Ratchet won't have to worry about Terrorcon Scalpel breaking any of Ratchet's equipment."
Fortressimus drives until he stops at a traffic light in the desert not unlike Signal Lancer.
Fortressimus thinks long and hard about what he should do when the time comes to rescue Agent Fowler from Ironspan.
Fortressimus says in a whisper almost like a prayer, "(Softly) Guide us, Matrices."
Far across the galaxy, deep in the core of Cybertron, Primus' spark slightly pulses in response to Fortressimus' prayer before deactivating again.
Fortressimus then asks into his commlink, "Surestrike, Crashbust, Solarwinder, Victoryscare, Flarevoid, are the rest of the Autobot bases finished yet, alongside the bases for NEST?"
Surestrike and the others reply in turns, "Yes sir, the bases are finished now." "And the bases for NEST are also finished right now." "The President just needs the official go-ahead the moment MECH is terminated in the Operation Breakdown incident." "But don't worry, we made sure to be vague with the details of the due date." "Just let us know and we'll give the President the go-ahead."
Fortressimus replies back before disconnecting, "Excellent to hear. But whatever you do, don't trust any other human beings; for all we know, they could be Decepticon Pretenders, Grounder Decepticons using their holomatters, or even human spies in the wrong countries. And whatever you do, don't fail me; I may not be like Megatron, but I still don't tolerate failure. Get it done and do it right."
Fortressimus hangs up and continues driving.
To be continued...
(Author's notes: In the next chapter, there'll be Fortressimus accompanying Optimus and Ratchet to the graveyard in the Grand Canyon while Silverimus will be handling Agent Fowler's rescue with the Aerialbots while using clones of Holebomb and Bonestreak on the Vehicon Troopers.
Also, please be sure to let me know what you would like to see in terms of chapters to take place after Loose Cannons.
Next to that, who wants to see the Autobots receive lots of more reinforcements in the form of Autobots, Maximals, Predacons, and Decepticons from all across the Transformers franchise, with the Decepticons having different paint jobs and different names, and with some of the Predacons sharing common names being given alternate names?
Lastly, who wants to see the Dinobots show up in New Recruit? I know I do!
See you all in chapter 27: Darkness Rising Part 3.)
