Transformers Prime: A New Adventure.

Chapter 28: Darkness Rising Part 4.

(Author's notes: In this chapter, the kids will encounter the Decepticons' prisoner. But who is this Autobot that was taken prisoner and frozen? How did he get to Earth? We'll find out in this chapter.

Also, just so you know, my writing schedule for this story might be all catty-wonkers because of how many stories I'm currently writing that have already been posted on fanfiction dot net, as well as other stories that I want to finish up on before I post the first chapters. So, readers, please try your best to be patient. After all, like wise men say, patience is a virtue.

Enjoy chapter 28: Darkness Rising Part 4.)

Optimus Prime begins the recap as the Nemesis flies into view, "Previously on Transformers Prime..."

In the room with the Dark Energon crystal, Megatron remarks, "It's as if the Blood of Unicron the Chaos-Bringer flows through my veins."

Megatron makes it to the flight deck and transforms to his jet mode, flying off to the Grand Canyon.

Ratchet then says, "But Dark Energon is so scarce to the point of being non-existent."

Overscreen points out, "But the thing about myths and legends is that sometimes, they're true. Like, for example, most Cybertronians believed that Predacons on Cybertron were mythological, but either Primus' powers bringing new Predacons to life as full Cybertronians or techno-organics, or even a Decepticon scientist the equivalent of the deceased Shockwave cloning Predacon bones using a Hyperevolution Chamber to bring new Predacons online can prove to everyone else that Predacons are indeed real."

Ratchet replies before asking, "Well, I cannot argue on that one. But what would Dark Energon be doing here on Earth?"

Fortressimus Prime answers, "It was transported by Megatron to conquer this planet by raising an army of Terrorcons using a shard of Dark Energon in his own spark chamber to control said Terrorcons."

Later, Agent Fowler exclaims, "Contact with civilians!"

Fortressimus snarls, "These guys were recruited by me personally, simply because three of them found out about us. And even if I could go back in time to prevent it, there'll always be replacements to keep the timeline in balance. And also, these guys finding out about us is a fixed point in time, and hopefully you might've seen Doctor Who to know what a fixed point in time is."

On the Nemesis, Victoryjump orders, "Fetch me this Agent Fowler and these three civilians."

Soundwave deploys Laserbeak.

In the brig, Victoryjump states while lifting Agent Fowler's head gently with his right index claw, "Tell me the location of the Autobot base."

In the Autobot base, Fortressimus states while examining the controls to the computer, "An SOS from Agent Fowler."

Later, the Autobot deployment glances at the Nemesis up ahead from their cover.

Jetsable Prime, Shinescythe Prime, Flarebeam Prime, Heatheart Prime, Jackfix and Bombback emerge from the Ground Bridge and they get behind cover as more Vehicon Troopers appear on the Nemesis.

Fortressimus remarks, "This is gonna be more difficult than I thought."

And finally, Megatron bellows, "RISE, MY ARMY! BEHOLD, THE POWER OF DARK ENERGON!"

The Terrorcon army lumbers towards the twenty-four Autobots, snarling and growling like robot zombies.

(End of recap.)

In the graveyard, the Terrorcons continue rising from their graves, empowered by Dark Energon.

Ratchet states the obvious as he says, "Megatron has desecrated the resting place of our fallen ancestors and his own."

Optimus emotionlessly bemoans, "Not even the dead are free from his war-mongering."

Ridertimus Prime then says, "And judging from all appearances, due to the Dark Energon in his spark chamber as well, Megatron looks like he's able to control the Terrorcons as if they were puppets."

Tiderally remarks, "It's almost as if Megatron is the Spawn of Unicron himself."

Galvaimus Prime then asks, "We're in big trouble, aren't we?"

Optimus replies, "Unfortunately, it appears so."

From his perch, Megatron then says, "At last. Symbiosis. I can feel it. I now possess complete control over my army. Destroy them!"

The Terrorcons continue shambling towards the Autobots, but everyone sans Ratchet starts shooting at the Terrorcons, specifically because Ratchet doesn't have blasters.

Unfortunately, despite Tiderally's blasters and the Primes' blasters being able to do some damage, the Terrorcons proved to be more resilient than either of the Autobots thought, and that was because of the Dark Energon.

Ratchet asks, "Optimus, if our opponents are already deceased, how can we possibly defeat them?"

Optimus doesn't answer, clearly not knowing the answer to the question himself.

Optimus, Tiderally, Ratchet, and the other Primes start backing away from the Terrorcons as they keep coming, slowly as possible.

Optimus then says, "Ratchet, you and the others retreat! Bridge yourselves back to base!"

Ratchet, Tiderally and Optimus' siblings, children, parents, and cousins deploy their swords and bladed weapons of different types – including swords, blades, axes, machetes, sabers, spears, polearms with axe-like blades, bisentos, Chinese swords, hook swords, Lochaber axes, scimitars, scythes, lance-style stilettos, sword-style switchblades, sword bayonets, cutlasses, tiger claws, Wolverine claw gauntlets, butterfly swords, hunting swords, war swords, broadswords, katana blades, longswords, crowbill pickaxes, hatchets, cane swordsticks, dagger-axes, tomahawk throwing axes, etc. – as Slapimus Prime replies, "No. We'll stand alongside you to the bitter end, Optimus."

Ratchet adds, "Besides, you'll need a medic when this mission is done."

Caelum Pax adds further, "And there's no way we're letting you sacrifice yourself against an army of zombies."

Ratchet, Tiderally, and the other Primes engage the Terrorcons, cutting them down piece by piece.

After observing that cutting the Terrorcons to pieces works better than blasting them, Ratchet and Tiderally respectively call out, "I recommend dissection!" "He's right! The smaller the pieces, the better!"

Optimus stops shooting and replies, "Sound advice, old friends."

Optimus retracts his Ion Blasters and deploys his swords before cutting down a few Terrorcons.

In particular, Optimus impaled a Terrorcon from its chestplate to its neck cables, severing its head.

Optimus looks up at Megatron who says, "I have fully mastered Dark Energon. When you fall, Optimus, you along with Ratchet, Tiderally, Steelfist, and your relatives shall join my army."

Optimus replies, "Not by a long shot, Megatron."

The thirty-eight Autobots proceeded to cut down more Terrorcons.

Meanwhile, in the Autobot base, Birdtrack comes into the command center to find Carzap there.

Birdtrack asks, "Where is everybody?"

Carzap answers, "In order: Tiderally, Steelfist, Optimus, his relatives, and Ratchet went to the Grand Canyon to investigate the largest Cybertronian graveyard there, Fortressimus and a team went to the Nemesis to rescue Agent Fowler as he's been kidnapped for interrogation, and Jack and Rafael followed Miko because she followed Fortressimus' away team just because she's reckless and has a deep-rooted inferiority complex combined with a need to prove her worth at the wrong place and the wrong time."

Birdtrack then mutters, "How could the Primes, Ratchet, Steelfist, Tiderally, and Miko respectively be so stupid?"

Birdtrack sets the Ground Bridge for the Grand Canyon and goes through it.

Meanwhile, back at the Nemesis, the Vehicons spot the Autobots and they proceed to open fire, with the Autobots either shooting down the Vehicons or outright reprogramming them and multiplying the reprogrammed Vehicon Troopers.

The four Predacon Primes, on the other hand, managed to stay hidden even despite their sizes in robot mode.

Bulkhead then asks Jack and Rafael, "What are you two doing here?!"

Jack replies, "We were worried about Miko."

Miko remarks, "Oh, you care about me? That's adorable."

Jack retorts, "It's not adorable because you haven't seen the Decepticons in action like we have!"

Fortressimus points out while raising an Energon Shield, "Um, Autobots, we're in the middle of a firefight here!"

Miko replies, "Oh! Sorry!"

Juith/Windcore proceeded to shoot a Vehicon in the head, taking him offline and causing him to crash onto the stone floor at ground level.

Jetsable then says, "You guys go on inside; I've got a score to settle."

Everyone else nods.

Soon, more and more multiplying Vehicons pop up, but Fortressimus kept reprogramming them and teleporting them to the multiple Autobot bases he set up over the past three weeks.

Fortressimus then calls out, "Autobots! Follow me!"

Fortressimus and his Autobot deployment transforms to vehicle mode and they drive and fly to another part of the Nemesis where the Grounders were able to climb onto a rocky wall to get aboard the ship.

But not Fortressimus.

No, for he has rocket thrusters built into the backs of his upper calves.

So, the Autobot lieutenant flies off to the top of the Nemesis and a Vehicon Trooper asks in confusion, "Is that Optimus Prime?!"

Fortressimus replies, "Nope. I'm a new Autobot. I am Fortressimus Prime!"

Fortressimus spies over twenty-five Vehicon Troopers on the giant roof of the Nemesis and swoops down, clearing as many Vehicons as he can, in the same style as Optimus clearing the Decepticon army to get to Shockwave in the Dark of the Moon movie.

Fortressimus wolf-whistles and his Autobot team, as well as his army of clones, arrives onto the flight deck where the real Fortressimus is.

Fortressimus then says, "Clone Team 49, take every Vehicon Trooper corpse with you to base for repairs and reprogramming."

The Fortressimus clones who make up Clone Team 49 replied in unison, "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!" "Yes sir!"

The clones gather the Vehicon corpses and they start taking the corpses to base.

Fortressimus then spies the interstellar navigation dish and inquires, "Bulkhead, could you please rip that off and throw it away? It'll come in handy in the next three days."

Bulkhead nods, walks over to the dish, rips it off, and throws it down away from the Nemesis.

Seeing an elevator door hatch, Fortressimus gestures everyone to follow him, and they follow him down into the ship one at a time.

In the hallways of the ship, Arcee asks Fortressimus as they all run, "Okay sir, where are Agent Fowler, Anatole, Onorato, and Carver?"

Fortressimus answers, "They're in the brig. Find a Vehicon and download from his memory banks the layout of the ship."

Everyone replies in unison, "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." "Understood." The team happens upon a patrol of three Vehicons and after they're taken offline, Arcee downloads from one of their brain modules a layout of the Nemesis.

But then, Arcee stumbles upon something very important: one of Optimus Prime's trusted soldiers and Pretenders, Omega Danger, was on the Nemesis, frozen in stasis lock as a prisoner!

Arcee then remarks, "Oh, Primus!"

Bulkhead asks, "What is it?"

Arcee replies, "Omega Danger is here, frozen in stasis as a prisoner!"

Everyone gasped except for Fortressimus' crew, the humans, and the techno-organics.

Windcore then quizzes, "Who's Omega Danger?"

Fortressimus scans Arcee's mind and replies, "Omega Danger is an Autobot soldier, Pretender, and Multi-Changer who possesses the same appearance as the Autobot Create-A-Bot from the Transformers 2007 Nintendo DS video game in terms of being able to scan and transform into different forms."

Of course, the microphones and cameras of the hallway that everyone was in were all turned off by Fortressimus' EMP field to protect the fictional existence of the Transformers from being recorded by Soundwave and to prevent Soundwave from snitching to Megatron as per his duties to his master.

And of course, over the course of the past three weeks, the Autobot army posted at the base were already thoroughly educated about the various universal streams of the Transformers franchise.

Fortressimus then scans the dead Vehicon Trooper's mind and explains further, "According to this data, Omega Danger was seen as a humongous threat to the Decepticon forces equivalent to Omega Supreme, Fortress Maximus, and Metroplex, to the point where the Decepticons captured Omega Danger and put him in stasis lock. But not before he took out ten thousand of their troops in different categories each, including Soldiers, Scouts, Scientists, Leaders, Rocket Soldiers, Protectors, Shotgunners, Snipers, Seekers, Cloakers, Brutes, Heavy Soldiers, tank mode Destroyers, truck mode Destroyers, melee specialists, artillery specialists, Defenders, Captains, Medics, Titans, Insecticon Swarmers, Insecticon Bruisers, Insecticon Spitters, Marauders, Wall Crawlers, Enforcers, Ground Vehicon Troopers, Vehicon Jets, Helicopter Vehicons, Tank Vehicons, Truck Vehicons, Ground Vehicon Generals, Vehicon Captains, Vehicon Gunners, Vehicon Scorchers, and Vehicon Bombardiers. So basically, that's 360,000 Decepticon troops Omega Danger took offline before he was imprisoned. And he arrived on Earth because he was transferred from a Decepticon prison ship to Megatron's crew aboard the Nemesis to be kept frozen and under strict lock and key."

Silverimus Prime then says, "Okay. Here's the plan. Arcee, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Tailgate, Jackfix, Windcore, Bombback, you'll rescue Agent Fowler and obtain any crucial information about the Decepticons' latest plan that you can find. The rest of us will find Omega Danger and free him while our army of clones will take all Decepticon corpses to base. Let's roll."

Arcee's team heads for the brig.

Outside, Jetsable comes up to a section of the Nemesis where two Vehicon Troopers can see him and one of the drones says, "Halt! State your business!"

Jetsable answers, "I'm surrendering myself. I used to be with the Autobots, but I wish to defect and fight by Lord Megatron's side."

Of course, the drones couldn't pick up on Jetsable's angered tone when he said, "Lord Megatron," signifying that some of the Vehicons were somewhat tone-deaf.

The two Troopers looked at each other before the first one nodded to his comrade.

The second Vehicon says into his commlink, "Commander Steelway, we have an Autobot turncoat who is surrendering themselves. What should we do?"

Steelway answers with a question of curiosity, "An Autobot turncoat? Are you sure?"

The Vehicon answers, "Affirmative, sir. What should we do?"

Steelway answers, "Bring them to the brig, but keep a close optic on them just in case this is a trick. Once I'm finished with helping Ironspan deal with our guest, I'll deal with the turncoat personally."

The two Vehicons pointed their blasters at Jetsable and gestured for him to move towards the open elevator.

Jetsable does so, and the threesome are taken to the inside of the ship with the two drones standing behind him and keeping their guns trained on him.

Jetsable turns around to briefly see the Autobots giving him a thumbs up.

Jetsable is then led down several different hallways.

The second Vehicon then questions, "Hey, did you hear that Soundwave managed to capture three of the Autobots' human pets?"

The first Vehicon answers, "Yes, I did hear about it. They're being interrogated by Ironspan and Steelway in the brig as we speak."

But because the two Vehicons were looking at each other while they were talking, that proved to be a fatal mistake, for Jetsable quickly blasted one and sliced up the other with his greatsword.

Jetsable remarks, "Thanks for the info, fellas."

Jetsable turns invisible and heads off to the bridge.

In the brig, Victoryjump remarks before stating while holding up the Energon prod, "My dear Agent Fowler, my dear Onorato, my dear Carver, my dear Anatole, you four do realize the Autobots have abandoned you."

Onorato replies, "(Imitating a buzzer) Wrong! The Autobots never abandon comrades or allies of any kind. All manner of superheroes or war heroes have a strict code to never abandon any friends or family members. You can lie to us all you like, but even as I speak, the Autobots are mounting a rescue mission."

Victoryjump replies, "Hmhmhmhmhmhm. Deny it all you like, child, but no matter what you were told, the Autobots did indeed abandon you. I am the only one you four can rely upon right now. So, tell me what I want to know, or else..."

Victoryjump aims the Energon prod at Agent Fowler's testicles before the liaison replies, "Please, no more. They're in... a secret government base."

Victoryjump states, "Go on."

Suddenly, gunfire of different types – Energon and metallic – is heard outside the doors, and Agent Fowler realizes that the Autobots have come for him.

Steelway then says to 4 of his Vehicon subordinates, "Turnabout, Searchstreet, Warblast, and Knockblast, assemble a team to investigate those blast sounds!"

The four named Vehicon Troopers rush out of the brig.

Victoryjump looks back at Agent Fowler, who continues jokingly, "In the old steel mill. Or was it under that carnival funhouse?"

Onorato adds, "I told you so, butthead!"

Victoryjump growls and shocks both Onorato and Agent Fowler again, making them both yell in pain before losing consciousness.

Then the Seeker commander demands, "Someone help the others find out what's going on out there!"

Thirty-two Vehicon Troopers go out into the hallways to investigate.

But of course, seeing as how Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Wingthing and Ratbat also indeed managed to capture Onorato, Carver, and Anatole due to Laserbeak being unable to carry four humans at a time all the way back to the Nemesis, let's just say that Victoryjump was going to be in for three large surprises.

In one of the hallways leading to the bridge, twenty-one Vehicon Troopers shoot at Arcee's team, but the techno-organics being trained in human and Cybertronian martial arts enabled the Autobot team to triumph against all odds.

That combined with their newfound supernatural aim in using guns proved just as efficient in dealing with the Vehicon reinforcements who came out of nowhere.

Bombback starts panting as the last Vehicon goes offline.

Windcore remarks exhaustedly, "Who knew fighting Decepticons could be so tiring?"

Bumblebee states assuringly, "With your robotic stamina, you'll get used to it in no time."

As the rest of Fortressimus' clone armies carried the Vehicon corpses to base, Bulkhead stomps on a Vehicon's head.

Meanwhile, back at the Grand Canyon, Optimus, his fellow Primes, Tiderally, Steelfist, and Ratchet are still cutting down Megatron's first army of Terrorcons.

After Optimus impales a Terrorcon and then proceeds to shooting off another Terrorcon's head, the Autobots huddle together back to back.

Ratchet grunts in exhaustion as he points out, "Optimus, this prolonged exposure to the Dark Energon is making us tireder than normal."

Downimus Prime replies, "We can't give up now; we're just about halfway done."

The thirty-eight Autobots continue cutting down the Terrorcons.

Optimus alternates between shooting and slicing up Terrorcons, but he eventually gets dogpiled on, and despite his efforts, the Terrorcons prove to be stronger than him because of superior numbers.

Ratchet exclaims, "Optimus!"

But that hesitation was a fatal mistake, as Ratchet restrained and his right shoulder was busted open by one of the Terrorcons.

Tiderally exclaims, "No!" and he manages to avoid similar fates.

The other Primes continue slicing up the Terrorcon army.

Megatron chuckles darkly, thinking that he's won. But oh, how wrong he is.

As more Terrorcons pile onto Optimus, the Autobot leader bursts out of the dogpile while slicing up and shooting at the Terrorcons with a roar of anger.

Tiderally and the Primes manage to help Ratchet out of his predicament.

Tiderally gives Ratchet an Energon Repair Grenade and most of his damages are repaired. But the only thing that was only moderately repaired was Ratchet's right shoulder plate, and the others realized that Ratchet would need more extensive repairs at Autobot Headquarters.

Eventually, they get down to the last wave of two thousand, one hundred and thirty-seven Terrorcons without getting seriously wounded, except for Optimus getting dogpiled on by ravenous Terrorcons and causing Ratchet to get temporarily caught off-guard and resulting in his right arm and right shoulder being damaged.

Megatron remarks teasingly as he witnesses the carnage, "After all these years, Optimus, you and your family and friends are still at the top of your game."

Optimus and the others rush towards the remnants of Megatron's army.

Megatron calls out, "My legion, finish them!"

The thirty-eight Autobots use their superhuman strength, superhuman speed, and superhuman stamina as they continue cutting down Megatron's legion.

But then, the Ground Bridge opens and out comes Birdtrack!

Everyone stops to see her take out the Nichirin blade and she snarls, "The 38 of you are a bunch of dumb asses, aren't you?!"

Megatron shouts, "DESTROY THEM ALL!"

Birdtrack then energizes the Nichirin blade and she slashes and slices up the entire Terrorcon army to pieces with supernatural speed and without being affected by Dark Energon.

Of course, even despite Megatron's eyesight, he couldn't make out the details of who Birdtrack is or what she looks like.

Meanwhile, back on the Nemesis, there's banging on the door to the bridge of the ship.

A Vehicon opens the door, only to get fatally shot as the Autobots pour in and shoot down the Vehicon Troopers.

After the last Vehicon Trooper goes down, Fortressimus says over the commlink, "Okay, do you guys see alien math on one of the computers?"

Bombback sees the Space Bridge mechanics on a computer and replies, "Yes, Fortressimus."

The Prime replies back, "Okay, see if you can take a picture to show to Ratchet and Optimus."

Miko takes a picture with her phone and says at the same time as Windcore, "Done and done." "Done and done."

Fortressimus replies before advising, "Excellent work. But now, we must free Fowler and Omega Danger."

Arcee says to Jack, Miko, and Rafael, "Wait in here, guys."

Tailgate questions, "Why do they have to wait in here?"

Arcee answers, "Without being techno-organics and without any Iron Man suits, they're slowing us down and they're easier targets than we are."

Groundbeat replies while creating several hard light constructs of Autotroopers to protect the kids, "We'll all be fine in here as long as we stay put."

The other Autobots left the bridge of the Nemesis, unaware of the last Decepticon Wall Crawler following them with orders from Counterheader to shoot down Arcee.

Miko remarks like she went through watching a horror movie she liked rather than hated, "That... was intense!"

Rafael questions in disbelief, "Was?!"

Jack whisper-yells, "You know what, it's actually your fault that we're all stuck in this so-called intensity! What were you thinking in following the Autobots here, Miko?!"

Miko questions in response, "Did I ask you to follow me?"

Jack replies, "You know what? I'm actually glad Fortressimus has the gutso to hit a girl for disobeying orders!"

Miko growls, "What did you just say?!"

Groundbeat grabs Miko and slowly squeezes her hard, making her hiss in pain from the pressure.

Groundbeat snarls, "You shut the (bleep!) hell up, (bleep!) You're just as much responsible for this mess as Agent Fowler is, in some segments. The moment you do something as stupid and horrendous as this again, I'll personally see to it that you're banned from the base before we have your memory of the Transformers, our human and techno-organic allies, and the multiverse permanently erased!"

Groundbeat squeezes slightly harder before dropping Miko on her butt and back, making her groan in pain.

In the brig, Victoryjump hears more gunfire and he states to Agent Fowler, "Wake up, you pathetic lump of flesh!"

Agent Fowler replies woozily, "Mm. Grandma, is it cookie time?"

Agent Fowler falls unconscious again.

Victoryjump sighs in frustration.

Victoryjump says to Anatole, "You wake up as well, you pathetic pile of flesh!"

Anatole snarls weakly, "(Bleep)... you... Ironspan!"

Ironspan growls at that.

But before he could do anything to Anatole, suddenly, there's a banging at the door.

The door opens up and a Vehicon stands there motionless.

Victoryjump asks irritably, "Well?!"

The Vehicon falls face-first to the floor to reveal Bulkhead, who shoots down the remaining Vehicon in the room.

Jackfix, Bombback, Windcore, Bulkhead, Tailgate, Bumblebee, and Cliffjumper aim their guns and cannons at Ironspan, who activates his Null-Ray cannon and missile payload while aiming at Agent Fowler, Onorato, Anatole, and Carver before saying, "Not so fast."

Victoryjump feels a blaster tapping his head and he looks up to see Arcee in the vent.

Arcee warns, "I wouldn't."

Victoryjump replies with a smirk, "Oh, but I might."

Meanwhile, in the holding cells, Fortressimus and his team finds Omega Danger and they free him.

Upon awakening, Omega Danger spies the Autobot symbols on his rescuers and asks, "Autobots, how long have I been in here?"

Blow Saber calculates the time passed as he answers, "By my count, I'd say sixty-nine years."

Omega Danger replies, "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go stop Megatron's plan."

Nodding, Fortressimus and his team escorts Omega Danger to the brig in vehicle mode, with the new Autobot surprising his comrades with his racecar mode.

The Autobots drive as quickly and as carefully to the brig as possible while making sure to kill/reprogram as many Vehicon Troopers as possible in Stealth Force mode.

Meanwhile, in the brig, everyone stands still as they find themselves in a hostage-style Mexican standoff.

Victoryjump then says to break the silence, "Now, Agent Fowler and I will take our leave."

Agent Fowler remarks woozily, "The emu says yeah!"

Then, out of the blue, Carver and Anatole electrocute Victoryjump with respective electricity vision, EDK Techvolts, and stun lasers.

Victoryjump shrieks and blubbers in pain.

Suddenly, the Autobots take advantage of the distraction to shoot Victoryjump, who gets knocked in the chestplate by the shots just because of how many Autobots were shooting at him.

Victoryjump then jumps into the air, transforms to his jet mode, and blasts off, with his afterburner blasting Arcee off the ceiling.

Victoryjump flees the room just as Fortressimus' team comes up with Omega Danger.

Omega suddenly spots the Wall Crawler about to shoot Arcee at point-blank range and he fires an acidic shot at the Wall Crawler, taking it offline and melting it to nothing.

Everyone was shocked at how easy it was for Omega Danger to take down the last remaining Decepticon Wall Crawler.

Arcee remarks, "Omega Danger, is that you?"

Omega replies, "In the robotic flesh, Arcee."

Arcee embraces Omega Danger and they kiss, much to the shock of everyone in the room.

Even Fortressimus didn't expect Arcee to have a sparkmate in this timeline, but he had to admit that such a thing was possible in an alternate Transformers Prime universe and timeline in the form of a fanfiction story from the Quadwal cluster.

Pushing the shock aside, Fortressimus gets Agent Fowler, Onorato, Carver and Anatole free gently and loads them in Blow Saber's vehicle mode, fittingly being an ambulance and the same ambulance that the Tyran cluster Ratchet transforms into.

Agent Fowler asks woozily before fainting, "I like pie. Can we stop for pie?"

Fortressimus and the others burst into hysterical laughter except for the techno-organics, as well as Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Arcee, and Omega Danger.

Meanwhile, in the bridge of the ship, Steelway enters the bridge and transforms to robot mode, having split up from Ironspan since his commanding officer went to the Energon Storage Vault to hide.

As Jetsable decloaks from the shadows, Steelway remarks, "Those Autobots aren't even the brightest when it comes to escape routes plotted by Decepticons."

Jetsable's optics narrowed into slits as he recognizes who Steelway is.

Jetsable roars, "STEELWAY!"

He charges towards the Seeker and as Steelway turns around, he finds himself too late as he gets punched in the gut hard enough to be sent flying towards the controls of the warship, only to land in front of the control terminal.

Steelway starts gasping for air due to having had the wind knocked out of him despite the fact that Cybertronians are air independent.

When Steelway looks up, he sees Jetsable marching towards him while growling viciously on an equal level to Predaking growling viciously in robot mode when he's in a really bad mood.

Steelway exclaims as he stands up and arms his missiles, "How dare you strike me?! Do you have any clue who I am?!"

Jetsable snarls as he keeps marching, "Oh, I know fairly well who you are. You are a Decepticon soldier who is somewhat cowardly in the sense that you'll do anything possible to avoid serious trouble and you're ready to double-cross anyone to save yourself and to steal anything that belongs to friend and enemy alike."

Steelway shoots all of his missiles at Jetsable, but he deploys his greatsword and slices the missiles in half, making the halves fly to different areas before making smaller explosions that don't really damage anything.

Steelway gawks at what he just saw.

Jetsable snarls, "You'll pay for terminating Galaxyscream and you'll be an example to those who murder innocents in a war started by an arrogant, murderous power-hungry tyrant who was denied something bestowed upon those who are worthy!"

Jetsable rushes towards Steelway and grabs him by his throat before using his clawed fingers to dig out one of Steelway's optics, making him live up to Starscream's name by screaming loud enough for everyone aboard the Nemesis to hear.

By the time Steelway's optic was dangling by its wires, Jetsable ripped it out, making Steelway scream more.

But Jetsable did the same thing to Steelway's other optic, making him scream a lot more.

Then, Jetsable ripped off Steelway's legs so he can't escape, and then did the same to his arms, but he decides to leave all four limbs dangling by its wires.

Jetsable growls in satisfaction at seeing Steelway leaking Energon.

Then, Jetsable reaches up and punches a part of the ceiling so he can pull down some cables and he used them to tie up Steelway thoroughly by his arms and legs.

Steelway whimpers in agony, "Ki-ki-kill m-m-me al-al-already."

Jetsable answers, "Not just yet. You haven't suffered nearly enough."

Jetsable grabs Steelway's glossa and rips it out viciously before breaking it to pieces in his grip.

Then, Jetsable deploys one of his arm-mounted flamethrowers and uses it like a blowtorch for him to remove Steelway's voice box.

Once he did that, he pockets it while remarking, "We're certainly going to need this."

Next, Jetsable forcibly removed Steelway's commlink and he remarks that it'll be needed too.

Next, Jetsable forcibly removes Steelway's transformation cog and pockets it while remarking, "This'll also certainly prove useful if we need it."

Next to that, Jetsable removes Steelway's spark before also pocketing it while remarking again, "This'll also prove useful."

Next-to-last, before the whole disassembly began, Jetsable had used his supernatural power of C.N.A. Collection to collect actual samples of Steelway's C.N.A. for a later cloning experiment that Fortressimus authorized for at a VERY much later date.

And finally, Jetsable rips Steelway's head off while slicing it off of the spinal strut, even though some of the upper spinal strut couldn't be sliced off so easily no matter how powerful Jetsable's claws are.

And for the coup de grace, Jetsable removes his helmet in anger, revealing a flaming skull that resembles a combination of Scorpion's Ghost Rider-esque skull in Mortal Kombat and The Fallen's skull in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen before proceeding to roar as he engulfs Steelway's corpse in flames with his fire breath.

As Steelway's corpse starts burning, Jetsable crushes Steelway's optics and looks at his Energon-dripping talons, satisfied that he had taken a life no matter what Optimus will have to say about it.

Heatheart remarks, "Dude... that... was very extreme."

Jetsable replies, "Optic for an optic, life for a life, and a denta for a denta."

Jetsable sees Fortressimus standing behind him and Fortressimus remarks, "You did what you had to do, Majesty."

Jetsable nods in reply before leaving just as the fire suppression system activates, aiming only at Steelway's burning corpse.

The moment that Fortressimus, Heatheart, and Jetsable exit the bridge, Arcee and the others round the corner.

Arcee demands, "Jetsable, where the devil have you been?!"

Jetsable answers vaguely, "I had to take care of business. Nothing more, nothing less."

Fortressimus, Jetsable, and Heatheart transformed and everyone else drove, flew, and ran out of the Nemesis.

Of course, Arcee took note of the fact that one of Jetsable's servos was dripping with Energon, and she knew in that instance the meaning behind what he said.

Although, even Clippoint and Chronomaster couldn't help but wonder whose Energon was dripping from Jetsable's servo and who was the one screaming loud enough for practically everybody on the ship to hear.

Then, they all left, complete with Pyrodragon picking them up with a Ground Bridge back to base.

Back at the Grand Canyon, Birdtrack, Optimus and the others finish cutting down the Terrorcon army.

Megatron remarks, "Bravo, Optimus. Although, this is merely a prelude of what is to come. You may wish to save your strength for the main event."

Optimus replies while climbing up to Megatron's perch, "You will not prevail, Megatron – (wheezing) – not while Energon still flows through my veins."

Megatron replies back, "Fitting, for it is Dark Energon which flows through mine."

Optimus tries to punch Megatron, but the Decepticon leader jumps out of the way and transforms to his jet mode to fly away.

Optimus tries to shoot Megatron, but he keeps missing until Megatron vanishes from sight.

Optimus helps Ratchet up and the other Primes climb up to the top along with Tiderally.

As all the Primes and the Autobot CMO observes the carnage that they had to endure for good reason, Ratchet asks, "If this wasn't Megatron's endgame, then what is his endgame?"

Optimus stays silent, not knowing the answer.

Wideimus Prime then says, "If you ask me, I think Fortressimus and his army might have the answers."

Optimus nods in agreement.

Birdtrack then appears in front of Optimus and snarls, "YOU STUPID FLIPPING IDIOTS! What in the ever-hating Pit of Unicron possessed you all in getting the idea to come out here and face Megatron's Terrorcon army by yourselves without any further information of how to proceed and without any additional reinforcements?!"

The others looked stunned by Birdtrack's outburst, including Optimus.

Birdtrack demands, "What were all of you thinking?! Don't you realize that even with the power of your combined teamwork, if it wasn't for me, you all would've been torn to pieces?! And seriously, why didn't you ask Fortressimus for more information on Megatron's plan?!"

Ratchet snaps back, "Well, excuse us, but even I am more concerned about how to utilize Fortressimus' foreknowledge for the greater good without causing any drastic changes to the future! And we didn't even know if we would need additional help or not."

Birdtrack then says, "Well, all the same, you should be glad I got out of training when I did to lend you all a helping servo. But seriously? You didn't really anticipate Megatoilet would be able to summon undead cannibalistic zombies to fight for his cause?"

Before Ratchet or any of Optimus' relatives could retort, Optimus quizzes in confusion, "I'm sorry, what did you just call Megatron?"

Birdtrack answers with a smirk on her face, "Oh, I called him Megatoilet. I thought I would make something up since Fortressimus and his group said that people from their native universe always come up with humorous Megatron-themed insults."

Before anyone can say anything else, Ratchet bursts out laughing, and Wideimus Prime manages to catch Ratchet before he could fall over.

Tiderally snorts before he also bursts out laughing, but he manages to still stand up straight.

Soon, the rest of the Primes sans Optimus burst out laughing, and Optimus... well, he was struggling hard to keep a straight face since his comrades' laughter was almost contagious.

After getting close enough into communications range as one would expect from being in the Grand Canyon, Optimus then says into his commlink, "Pyrodragon, we need a Ground Bridge."

Pyrodragon replies, "Coming up."

Later, in the base, Optimus finishes welding a cast onto Ratchet's busted right arm and right shoulder.

Fortressimus asks in unusual concern for the Autobot medic, "Are you alright, Ratchet?"

Ratchet replies, "I'm fine. My arm and my shoulder plate aren't too badly damaged. But I'll need to wear the cast for two days."

Silverimus then says, "Then I say that it is very fortunate that Cybertronians and techno-organics have self-repair systems to instantly repair any form of damage over time, especially something as serious as a busted arm or shoulder plate."

Ratchet inquires, "And what makes you say that, Silverimus?"

Silverimus answers, "Because, as the majority of us have learned in our past lives as human beings from another universe, an adult human would have to wear an arm cast for two months at most, maybe more, and that depends on the extent of the damage."

Jack remarks, "Well, he's not wrong; Mom told me about how some of her patients would end up with their arms in casts just because they wound up hurt in an accident or in a fight."

June nods in emphasis.

Ackas then says scoldingly, "You should've had additional reinforcements from our new armies of clones."

Optimus points out, "Even if we had our armies of clones to assist us, Mother, Megatron would've found a way to counter them by cloning his standard troops and his most loyal scouts and lieutenants. And besides, our clones can feel the same pain we're feeling and vice versa, depending on severity."

Currentracer adds, "And they could've easily used any clones of us they invent to infiltrate our ranks."

Ratchet adds further, "AND we were concerned about how to use our interdimensional allies' foreknowledge to win the war without causing any drastic changes to the time stream without creating disasters and while trying to avoid as many Autobot and human casualties as possible."

Birdtrack then asks, "So, these are the humans turned techno-organics and normal humans that Fortressimus wanted us to recruit?"

Optimus replies while whispering into Birdtrack's audio receptor, "(Softly) That is correct, Birdtrack. And even though they are still undergoing training, Miko in particular possesses enough raw courage to rival Grimlock. And about 991 of the humans weren't turned into techno-organics at all; Fortressimus said something about it being something reserved for a later date. But the rest of the humans, as Fortressimus put it, are going to get Iron Man suits if Agent Fowler approves."

Blow Saber quizzes, "Aside from that, you guys fought Megatron's first army of Terrorcons, I presume?"

Ratchet nods.

Miko questions in confusion, "What are Terrorcons again?"

Skullsor answers, "In your sector of the multiverse, Terrorcons are undead Cybertronians resurrected by Dark Energon."

Miko exclaims, "Zombies?! You guys actually fought zombie Cybertronians and I missed it?!"

Pyrodragon snarls, shutting Miko up.

Triggerimus then says, "Trust me, Miko, you wouldn't last long against an army of Cybertronian zombies in human form or in robot mode either way."

Miko looks downcast upon hearing that.

Birdtrack adds, "And besides, Miko, those zombies used to be living people before they expired in a fight during an early to late period in the war. So be more respectful of what you say, otherwise I'll show you just how much I hate humans!"

Miko gulped in fear, comprehending that not every Autobot is accepting of Optimus' law against harming or killing humans.

Jetsable shouts, "And seriously, do you have brain damage or something, Miko?! Optimus, Ratchet, Tiderally, Steelfist, and Optimus' relatives were nearly murdered and all you can think about is the fact that they fought an army of zombies?!"

Miko replies, "We were all nearly killed, Draco. Including you."

Fortressimus points out, "But the difference between us and Predacons is that Predacons have MUCH thicker armor plating, and therefore they can take more punishment than even Megatron."

Jetsable walks up to the cargo elevator and heads up to the roof.

Boris quizzes, "So, this Dark Energon can bring Transformers back to life as cannibalistic zombies?"

Ratchet answers, "Unfortunately, yes. And as we saw, any Decepticon like Megatron with Dark Energon infused into their spark chambers will be able to control all manner of Terrorcons like a ventriloquist or a puppet master."

Optimus then says, "Fortressimus, you and Bulkhead exercised poor judgment in allowing Jack, Miko, and Rafael to accompany you."

Fortressimus points out, "It's all Miko's fault for following us, and that prompted Jack and Rafael to follow her to talk some sense into her, and we already know how well that went. So, really, I am not the one who exercised poor judgment, and neither was Bulkhead for that matter."

Miko replies before showing the Space Bridge schematics, "He's right; it's my fault. But anyway, we got recon."

Optimus looks at the picture of the schematics and says, "Hm. Ratchet, have a look. It could be of importance to Megatron."

Jack asks, "Wait, Megatron's back? That's really bad news, right?"

Overscreen replies, "Very bad news indeed."

Ratchet takes a look and says before asking, "These are engineering schematics for a Space Bridge. How did you find it?"

Miko answers, "Well, we were in the bridge of the ship, and Fortressimus told us that there was a computer terminal that had the info, so I took a picture, per Fortressimus' orders."

Optimus replies, "Regardless of Miko disobeying standard protocol, I'll admit that you all did well."

Fortressimus adds before warning, "Yes, I admit that they did splendidly for their first time on a battlefield. BUT, if you ever disobey orders again, Miko, you'll find out how scary I really am. AND if you continue to disobey orders, you won't be getting an Iron Man suit when the Forge is fully charged."

Fortressimus' army knew he was secretly and vaguely referring to the fact that Primus secretly gave him his own dragon mode, and that Fortressimus loses control of his anger if he intentionally enters his dragon mode while in a bad mood.

Miko shivered in fear as a response to Fortressimus' warning.

Ratchet then started snickering under his breath, but Optimus notices and questions, "What's so funny, old friend?"

Ratchet remarks, "Oh, I think you know, Optimus."

Cliffjumper remarks before inquiring, "Ratchet actually finds something funny? That's new. What did you discover being funny, Ratchet?"

Ratchet replies, "Birdtrack, she called Megatron by this very funny insult. She called him MEGATOILET!"

Everyone in the base burst out laughing, including the techno-organics, the humans, Tiderally, Steelfist, Arcee, Omega Danger, Starscream, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Skyquake, Dreadwing, Deadgripper, and Optimus' relatives.

But Optimus just shook his helm in slight exasperation, signifying that he doesn't find the Megatoilet insult funny twice in a row.

Of course, for the Autobots who have known Optimus for nearly as long as Ratchet, Steelfist, and Tiderally have, they would know that Optimus was secretly laughing in his mind because he didn't want anyone to see or hear him laughing at something that funny or something that wasn't as funny as Birdtrack calling Megatron by Megatoilet the second time around.

Everyone's attention is turned to Omega Danger, who is seen catching up with Arcee while occasionally scanning pictures of the multiple vehicles and animals of Earth to use for his many forms due to the way he was designed.

Optimus then says, "Omega Danger, welcome to Earth."

Omega Danger replies in a voice that sounds like a combination of the Generation 1 Omega Supreme and the Energon Omega Supreme, "It's good to be back, Optimus. I may have missed out on the past sixty-nine years, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm well-preserved and ready to fight the Decepticons once again."

Optimus replies back, "That's good to hear, Omega Danger."

Birdtrack then says, "Everyone, I wish to address you all because what I was doing when I went after Optimus, Ratchet and the others was this: I was trying to warn them about something that happened when I was training in the basement."

Everyone pays close attention as Birdtrack explains, "When I was training with several holograms, I had a vision of the coming future. And in that vision, everything became clear that through this prelude in the Grand Canyon, Megatron is planning to take over Earth with a planet-sized army of Terrorcons in terms of numbers. And he intends to use his Space Bridge to bring his army all the way to Earth."

Everyone gasped in shock and horror, including Miko as she finally realizes the situation is much more serious than she thought.

Optimus just looked shocked and horrified at what Birdtrack just revealed.

Now, the Autobot army got a clearer picture of Megatron's plans with his Dark Energon stores.

Bulkhead then questions, "Where would Megatron be able to find that many Terrorcons to revive with his Dark Energon stores?"

Fortressimus answers, "Optimus and I have a sneaking suspicion."

After a minute of hushed speculations, Jack then says, "Fortressimus, I have to say, if this was just an average day with the Autobots, then I don't want to be a part of it. Not anymore."

Sierra asks in concern, "Are you sure about this, Jack?"

Jack nods.

Fortressimus points out, "Jack, with all due respect, all of you meeting us and becoming a part of our team, human or techno-organic, is a fixed point in time and we can't interfere with fixed time points whatsoever. And if I'm being brutally honest here, the process of turning a human into a techno-organic or a full Cybertronian is completely irreversible unless Primus were to channel God's supernatural power of manipulating organic matter and inorganic matter. On top of that, all that is necessary for villains like Megatron to succeed in their goals is if heroes like us choose to sit on the sidelines and do nothing, no matter if we were chosen to be heroes or not. Besides, putting you, Miko and Rafael in harm's way was not our intention whatsoever. That in itself is Miko's fault since the two hundred and nine of you haven't finished your combat training just yet and since you, Miko, Rafael, and your mother don't have Iron Man suits powerful enough to help us on the battlefield whenever needed. However, it's no longer the safety of the two hundred and two of you guys that's at stake, and it's no longer the safety of your 653 friends that's at stake either, but rather, it's the safety of all human beings and other forms of life on Earth. Nevertheless, we will respect your decision if you wish to leave. But just so you know, even Arcee's not ready to say goodbye just because of the fact that she tends to form an emotional attachment to her partners when she lets them in, like with Fortressnose, Tailgate, Cliffjumper, and Omega Danger. And please ask your human friends this important question if you ever get the opportunity to do so: even if today's events didn't happen and even if Miko had the common sense to not follow Bulkhead with and without combat training as a techno-organic, along with what could've happened if we didn't get that picture of the Space Bridge schematics and if we didn't rescue Agent Fowler in time before he could die of Energon poisoning, what if we lose... and it's because all of you chose to leave so soon in this war with the Decepticons?"

At the sound of the Ground Bridge activating, everyone turns to Ratchet as he remarks emotionlessly, "No point in long goodbyes; here's the door."

Fortressimus finally loses his cool as he shouts, "OH, FOR BOOTING UP COLD, COULD YOU POSSIBLY BE ANYMORE SPARKLESS IN FRONT OF HUMANS, RATCHET?!"

Everyone looked shocked at the fact that an Optimus Prime lookalike had just lost his temper.

Even Ratchet looked scared at Fortressimus' bright blue optics glowing to signify that he was in a VERY bad mood.

Fortressimus stomps over to his quarters, snarling like an angry cat.

Jack looks conflicted before stating resolutely, "I hate to say this, guys, but Fortressimus was right; if I left, not only would you guys be down a bot, but also there's a high chance that with or without his foreknowledge, you guys will lose, and it'll partially be my fault."

Ratchet shuts off the Ground Bridge.

Jack and Optimus then silently agreed that they would talk to Fortressimus.

Meanwhile, on the Nemesis, Megatron was storming his way to the bridge of the ship, ready to reprimand Steelway for failing to stop Ironspan/Victoryjump from disobeying his orders and ready to reprimand Victoryjump since the one thing he needed for his plan to succeed was no longer useful.

Not only that, but Soundwave was walking behind him, somehow able to keep up with Megatron's slightly longer strides despite the obvious height difference.

In no time, Megatron entered the bridge of the ship and saw a couple of Vehicons, including the ones who operate the bridge of the ship, were staring at something in shock, bewilderment, and horror.

Megatron announces his presence as he orders harshly, "Get back to your posts!"

The moment the drones cleared out, Megatron was horrified at what he saw: Steelway's hanging corpse with his optics removed, his glossa removed, his spark and transformation cog missing, his limbs barely hanging by their wires, his head missing, and his corpse being badly burnt.

Victoryjump comes in and gawks at what his lord and master is ogling at.

Megatron demands, "Who did this?!"

One of the drones answers, "The bot responsible should've been recorded by the camera, my liege."

Megatron turns to Soundwave and orders, "Soundwave, bring up the footage of the bridge from a few joors ago."

Soundwave heads to the nearest computer terminal and attached his tentacles to it.

The computer screen pulls up the footage of the bridge recorded by a camera, and Soundwave rewinds it to the point where Steelway entered the bridge.

The twosome watches as Jetsable ran towards Steelway and punched him in the gut hard before doing everything that resulted in the condition the Seeker was in now, completely dead.

Megatron then declares before shouting as he turns to face Steelway's corpse again, "Soundwave, I want you to find any and all forms of information on that Cybertronian. And for the love of Unicron, can somebot get rid of that optic sore?!"

Four drones quickly got to work on removing Steelway's corpse.

After that was done, Victoryjump starts protesting before getting smacked in the faceplate, "Please, Lord Megatron! I meant no – (Smack!) Ow!"

Megatron clenches his servo and snarls, "I ordered you to await my command!"

Megatron backhands Ironspan and he is sent flying across the bridge.

Counterheader remarks, "We told you so, Commander."

Ignoring Counterheader for the moment, Megatron continues, "Instead, your mindless agenda has resulted in the disabling of my ship, the delay of my plans, the murder of one of our most invaluable Seekers, AND the liberation of one of our more dangerous prisoners!"

Megatron slowly advances on Victoryjump as he scurries backwards and replies, "Aah! My intentions were pure, Master. I only wanted you to be rid of Optimus."

But that turns out to be the wrong thing to say, as Megatron steps on Victoryjump's head and snarls again, "Nobody rids me of Optimus Prime but me! Do you understand? Do you?!"

Megatron starts applying pressure and Victoryjump replies back, "Lord Megatron, I will make things right, I swear! I know how to set your plans back on course!"

Megatron removes his pede and grabs Victoryjump by his throat armor before saying ominously, "Explain, Ironspan. Quickly."

Later, in the Autobot base, Fortressimus is seething in his quarters, displaying to the readers that no matter if he resembles Optimus Prime or not, Fortressimus is somewhat easier to anger than most of his teammates except for Overscreen. But that doesn't always happen.

Fortressimus mutters under his breath in Cybertronian that no matter what happens, Ratchet had better shape up in his attitude towards humans or else there'll be deadly consequences.

After twenty-five minutes, Optimus opens the door after knocking, and Fortressimus calms down at seeing Optimus.

Optimus then quizzes, "Are you alright, Fortressimus?"

The younger Prime answers sharply, "I think it's all too obvious if I'm alright or not."

Jack then says, "I thought about what you said, and I decided to stay an Autobot, even if it means I might get torn between staying on Earth and staying on Cybertron once Cybertron has been revived."

Fortressimus smiles slightly before taking a growling breath.

Optimus then states, "Before you say anything, Fortressimus, I will admit, I agree that Ratchet should've taken an alternative approach to Jack's meltdown. But I didn't come to ask you to apologize to Ratchet."

Fortressimus looks up and inquires, "So, what did you come here for?"

Optimus answers, "I came here to ask if you would like to accompany me on my patrol of Jasper while Ratchet analyzes the schematics."

Fortressimus arches an optic ridge before shrugging as he replies, "Sure thing. I don't see why not."

Jack, Optimus and Fortressimus walked to the command center and the kids were taken home as Optimus and Fortressimus went on their patrol.

Fortressimus and Optimus drove out of the base while making sure to activate their holoforms to be inconspicuous and on the safe side.

Fortressimus thought long and hard about how Ratchet's callous approach to Jack's brief meltdown and conflicting crisis made his Energon boil.

Fortressimus then thought about what may come next for the techno-organics in the Autobot army.

As much as Fortressimus hated to admit it, the techno-organics will eventually have to decide if they want to stay on Earth or migrate to Cybertron once Autobots and the entire human race make peace with each other. That is, if Cybertron's atmosphere is ever slightly altered to sustain organic life, like in a fanfiction from his Earth in the Quadwal cluster.

And even if that did happen, there's still the matter of The Fallen making the Alchemor crash land on Earth as well as the Decepticon Relic Scavengers, Ironspan's bounty hunter allies, all 7 of the original Weaponizer Mini-Cons, Cyclonus and his fake High Council, Steeljaw's agenda to turn Earth into a planet for Decepticons of all types, Soundwave escaping the Shadowzone twice, the old and new Stunticons showing up on Earth, and Shockwave manipulating all the events of Cyclonus' team committing their RID 2015 crimes in an effort to revive the Decepticon cause and dispose of Megatron without Cyclonus knowing about it due to his intense loyalty to Megatron blinding him to the impossible possibility of Megatron turning over a new leaf in Predacons Rising.

This wasn't something Fortressimus relished, but he knew that all of that needed to change, and it had to be changed no matter the consequences.

Of course, nobody told Fortressimus that Shockwave had long since switched sides early on, and that was for a completely unknown reason that even Optimus didn't know. Simply because of the fact that this information was kept secret.

Fortressimus then started to wonder what it might be like if he was born Cybertronian, only to go on to interact with Optimus Prime as Orion Pax and become fast friends with him, and have a goodly life on Cybertron before Megatron started the war, only to be shipped away to the Quadwal cluster by some unknown party and be transformed into a human being and live another life away from the Transformers Prime multiverse and to be turned into a human in order to avoid dying of Energon starvation since Energon doesn't actually exist in the Quadwal cluster as a real thing.

But don't get Fortressimus wrong; he knows certain things like that only happens in fanfictions from his Earth. But the fact that Cybertronians are vulnerable to Cosmic Rust, Energon starvation, Cybonic Plague, telepathic powers belonging to the Generation 1 Soundwave, the cortical psychic patch, extreme heat, extreme cold, ordinary rust, chipping paint, claw scratches, getting devoured by swarms of Scraplets, getting devoured by Sharkticons, getting devoured by Piranacon, getting devoured by Dinobots like Grimlock, getting crushed into cubes, getting disintegrated, energy blasts, bullets to the head or to the spark, extreme impact trauma, forced disassembly, bifurcation, decapitation, brain module destruction, spark destruction, spark removal by any form of spark extractor, energy overload, Energon depletion, Corrodia Graivs, Red Rust, old age, metal-eating acid, Dark Energon, getting possessed by Unicron, and even getting devoured by Primeverse Predacons that weren't clones able to transform whatsoever is easy enough to make someone like Ratchet or even Fortressimus Prime himself from any Transformers universe edgy about the advantages and disadvantages of being a Cybertronian.

But of course, Fortressimus can't help but think about what life might be like for him if he was born on Cybertron and if he made friends with Orion Pax, Jazz, Ironhide, Ratchet, Elita One as Ariel, Tiderally, and Optimus' siblings and cousins.

Fortressimus mentally notes that he would likely get off on the wrong foot with Megatron long before the fateful day in the High Council chambers where Optimus was declared the next Prime and Megatron started the Great War simply by gunning down High Councilor Halogen.

Fortressimus then wonders to himself how he and his army will be able to adjust to life on a post-war Cybertron after Cyclonus, Cyberwarp, Skyjack, Riotgear, Treadshock, Shockwave, Soundwave, Ironspan, RoughEdge, Shadelock, Razorhorn, Motormaster, Dragstrip, Dead End, Wildrider, Heatseeker, Slashmark, Wildbreak, Steeljaw, Underbite, Hammerstrike, Bisk, Chop Shop, Terrashock, Thunderhoof, Abominus, Afterburner, Airazor, Anvil, Axiom, Back, Backtrack, Barrage, Black Shadow, Bludgeon 1, Bludgeon 2, Bombshell, Boostwing, Brakepad, Buzzclaw, Clampdown, Clawtrap, Clout, Contrail, Crazybolt, Crustacion, Divebomb, Filch, Flamefeather, Flamesnort, Forager, Forth, Foxtrot, Fracture, Frenzy, Glacius, Glowstrike, Greejeeber, Groundpounder, Hammer, Hammerstrike, Headlock, Infernox, Jacknab, Junkion, Kickback, Lockdown, Lord Doomitron, Malodor and his Skunkticon crew, Minitron, Needler, the second Nemesis Prime, Nightstrike, Octopunch, Overhead, Overload, Paralon, Ped, Phantomjaw, Pilfer, Polarclaw, Pseudo, Psychobat, Quillfire, Ragebyte, Rampage, Ransack 1, Ransack 2, Ratbat, Razorgrille, Razorpaw, Retrofit, Riotgear, Roadblock, Rumble, Runabout, Runamuck, Saberhorn, Sandsting, Scatterspike, Scorpinok, Scorponok, Scowl, Scratch, Scuzzard, Shadow Raker, Shockdrive, Shocksprocket, Shrapnel, Silverhound, Simacore, Skinkbomb, Skrapnel, Skullcruncher, Slicedice, Slink, Snitch, Soundwave, Spinhead, Springbolt, Springload, Stilts, Sting, Stockade and his Major Mayhem troops, Swelter, Targetmaster, Theorem, Thermidor, Torpor, Transit, Treadshock, Glowstrike's Vehicon army, Vertebreak, Warnado, Waspinator, Windra, Wingcode, Zizza, Zorillor, and many other Robots in Disguise 2015 Decepticons are either imprisoned or permanently destroyed in the case of The Fallen, since no other prison, not even his interdimensional prison, would be able to hold him once again.

At the same time on the subject of RID 2015 Decepticons, Fortressimus hoped that the prisoner manifest for the Alchemor wouldn't be 40 times more than the original one in one of the many alternate versions of the primary timeline. Because of the fact that if this was the case, the Earth would be in bigger trouble than even when The Fallen unleashed his final campaign against both Earth and Cybertron.

Fortressimus then mentally filed that even though he doesn't have precognition like Vector Prime when he views all sorts of timeline portals, the Guardian Knight will still investigate further when he gets the time to do so.

Fortressimus then mentally files that even if Shockwave is stopped by the new Autobot army consisting of Autobots from the past and from Robots in Disguise 2015 from accomplishing his RID 2015 crimes, Megatron would still never show up from his self-imposed exile on what the Galvatron's Revenge Alternate Universe movie sequel to Predacons Rising says is the planet Chaar.

Fortressimus mentally bemoans, "That's so many things to consider in the future after Predacons Rising. Nevertheless, I must make sure to keep the future changed so that none of the bad events of the future happen."

Fortressimus then mentally notes that since he's the 14th Ultimate Prime, he's likely to be appointed as Optimus' successor in Cybertron's High Council in the event Optimus retires for any reason other than either old age, simple retirement requirements, or because he's needed elsewhere due to new Decepticon attacks from many of Megatron's remaining loyalists.

Fortressimus mentally remarks, "With or without most things in these Aligned continuity cartoons being kept in chronological order, including with or without the Autobots on Earth still being on the losing side no matter how many numbers they acquire after Con Job, Out Of His Head, etc., life in the Aligned continuity is so overly complicated. Whether as a human being, as a Cybertronian, or as a techno-organic."

Fortressimus then thinks about how he's gonna be able to rein in Miko before and after giving her an Iron Man suit.

Fortressimus muses that even if Miko got her own Iron Man suit in the same style as the various War Machine armors except for the War Machine Mark VI suit and the Iron Patriot suit, it'd only be a matter of time before Miko tried learning how to fire her guns even if the guns didn't have actual live Earth ammunition.

Fortressimus muses also that on the other hand, Miko, Jack, June, Rafael, Andret Feakes, Calwin Feake, Gabryel Feaks, Islea Fearghail, Jilleane Fearneyhough, Akyra Featherson, Bryaleigh Featherstun, Tatum Feaviour, Rane Feavyor, Braelley Feek, Ton Feekes, Colbix Feetham, Nyco Feetum, Ryker Feldwick, Eleine Felwick, Bridgeth Fenteman, Alyce Ferdinand, Emelisa Ferdinando, Ethin Ferdy, Gavryn Fermer, Ashir Fermour, Ahlex Fernandes, Gayge Fernehough, Cyris Fetherston, Eligah Fetherstone, Arnaf Fevier, Consuel Fevyour, Crizant Fflavel, Crizanto Fice, Cruzito Fices, Cuartio Fidget, Currito Fieldwick, Custodio Filbee, Cyprien Filer, Damario Filibrown, Damaso Fillary, Dantae Fillis, Dantel Finch, Destino Finden, Deunoro Finderne, Dionicio Findon, Domingos Fingland, Efi Fir, Eladio Fise, Elado Fishack, Eneco Fithyan, Epefanio Fitzharris, Epefano Fitzsenry, Epephanio Fize, Epifan Flack, Epifano Flacke, Eracio Flamvill, Estevao Flavill, Eulises Fleetham, Fabrico Fleming, Fanuco Flintam, Flaminio Flinter, Flamino Flintham, Foncho Flinton, Fonz Flintum, Fraco Floid, Gabino Flood, Gabrio Floody, Juanisha Floud, Dreena Flude, Landrada Fluden, Sepharina Flutter, Encarna Foad, Xevera Foale, Milagrosa Foat, Dolorita Fogerty, Reynelle Foggs, Dolorcita Fogwell, and Jack's siblings and cousins from his mother's marriage to Eddie Darby would actually prove invaluable Iron Man-style soldiers to serve alongside the Autobots, Maximals, and Predacons that make up the new Autobot army seeing as how most of the Autobots that made up the bulk of the Autobot army on Cybertron are either in stasis lock on ships, offline, damaged beyond repair, or separated from the main Autobot forces on Earth by millions to billions of lightyears.

Fortressimus is brought out of his thoughts as Optimus then questions, "Fortressimus? Are you alright?"

Fortressimus answers, "Yes. It's just that I'm a little on edge – not by Ratchet's callous disregard for humans, mind you, but by the disadvantages of being a Cybertronian, let alone a techno-organic, and the fact that I believe that whether or not things of the future are kept in chronological order, life in your universe is so complicated."

Optimus replies, "I see."

Fortressimus then asks, "Can I ask you something, Optimus?"

Optimus then replies, "You may."

Fortressimus questions, "Do you think that there may be a way to revive Cybertron and end the war without having to worry about killing Megatron and without having to worry about any of Megatron's hand-picked successors or high-ranking lieutenants bringing the Decepticons from the ashes or even Unicron awakening just because his Anti-Spark and Primus' Allspark are two halves of a whole?"

Optimus slowed down and pulled over to the side of the road, and Fortressimus did the same.

Optimus answers the question with brutal but gentle honesty, "While there may be a chance of all three scenarios happening, that doesn't change the fact that there'll always be others who rise to take Megatron's place no matter if I kill him or not. But at the same time, there'll also always be great Autobots rising to take my place in the event I go offline. And even if I didn't go offline as an old mech, that doesn't change the fact that the entirety of the Autobot army will be looking to you and the other Primes in our ranks for leadership and wisdom. Do not doubt yourself, young Prime."

Fortressimus is silent for five seconds before replying, "I always knew that even someone from the Quadwal cluster like me could rely on you for wisdom. Seems that you learned from the best."

Optimus states in response, "I sure did indeed."

After two more half hours, in short, the two Autobot leaders had an eventful patrol and talk about how their lives were like before signing up as soldiers in their respective universes.

But of course, Optimus and Fortressimus had arrived back just in time to witness Jetsable, Heatheart, Shinescythe, and Flarebeam returning to base with something even Ratchet was shocked by seeing: Micronus Prime's Chimera Stone.

Of course, Fortressimus and the Autobots stationed in the base already knew about the Chimera Stone due to the fact that Fortressimus' troops had already retrieved it along with the other relics of the Primes and other Iacon relics. Except for the cache of Tox-En.

Onyx Prime's voice rings out, "Jetsable, Heatheart, Shinescythe, Flarebeam, what have you got there?"

Flarebeam answers, "The other Autobots have found Micronus Prime's Chimera Stone, sire."

Onyx replies, "Oh, then you must keep it locked up tightly in the vaults Fortressimus Prime upgraded over the course of the past 3 cyber-months. And I also forgot to mention something to the four of you: you four are techno-organic Predacons with the ability to access your human and Cybertronian forms at will. Consider this your reward."

In a small flash of light, the four Predacons are transformed back into Jack's cousins Jethro and Melissa, as well as Jack's aunt Meredith and his uncle Kareem.

Fortressimus remarks, "Well, this truly came unexpected on all counts."

Optimus nods, clearly unable to say anything without composing himself first.

Two days later, Ratchet finishes analyzing the Space Bridge schematics before saying, "It can't be. Optimus! Get everyone in here!"

Optimus rushes to the insides of the base to get the other Autobots into the command center.

Everyone comes into the command center.

Bonetooth questions, "What's wrong, Ratchet?"

Ratchet states, "I was right and Fortressimus was right as well; these are engineering schematics for a Space Bridge."

Silverimus states, "And since Megatron already has a Space Bridge, these engineering schematics are for how to operate the thing."

Bulkhead remarks, "The sooner he leaves, the better."

Fortressimus points out, "Bulkhead, all manner of Space Bridges run in two directions, just like a time portal for those like Vector Prime and just like a Ground Bridge."

Optimus adds, "Fortressimus is right; Megatron may not be using his Space Bridge to leave Earth, but to retrieve his conquering army of undead Terrorcons."

Ratchet questions before trailing off, "The main event Megatron referred to? But the only place where he can possibly recruit that many Terrorcons..."

Optimus replies, "Precisely."

The viewer screen leaves Earth before transitioning to the dead home planet of the Transformers.

Optimus finishes, "... that place is none other than Cybertron."

The viewer screen comes back to the Autobot base as Ratchet then inquires, "How are we going to stop him, though?"

Fortressimus answers, "It's not exactly going to be easy, but we're gonna have to make sure that the Decepticons can't lock onto Cybertron."

Arcee remarks before asking, "Well, you're not wrong about that. But what's your plan?"

Fortressimus answers, "We're going to need a majority of our troops here in the base to further assist us in this battle. And besides, I think it's about time for Birdtrack, some of our new troops, Bruticus, Fortressimus Maximus, and Megaimus Maximus to get in on the action."

To be concluded...

(Author's notes: There you have it, folks; the fifth part of Darkness Rising is upon us, and Team Prime has a new addition to the ranks: Omega Danger.

I hope that you're all enjoying this story right now. I know I am.

Also, answer me this question: who wants to see Fortressimus Prime fight Megatron in the One Shall Fall chapter?

See you all in chapter 29: Darkness Rising Part 5.)
