Transformers Prime: A New Adventure.
Chapter 29: Darkness Rising, Part 5.
(Author's notes: This is it, ladies and gentlemen; the final part of Darkness Rising. Let's see how well the Autobots progress in their task to destroy Megatron's Space Bridge.
Also, in the Masters & Students chapter, aside from the Autobots meeting the temporal replacement for Skyquake and Rawquake, and aside from the Autobots meeting the Allspark itself in its latest incarnation, the Autobots will also meet some new interesting Autobots. BUT they are a surprise.
Lastly, who wants to see an army of Primes – old, new, and OC – unite as one to take down Unicron, both in One Shall Rise Parts 1, 2, and 3, and Predacons Rising? I know I do.
Anyway, enjoy chapter 29: Darkness Rising Part 5.)
Optimus Prime begins the recap, "Previously on Transformers Prime..."
Megatron remarks, "Bravo, Optimus. You may wish to save your strength for the main event."
In the bridge of the Nemesis, Silverimus Prime voices over, "Okay. Here's the plan. Arcee, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Tailgate, Jackfix, Windcore, Bombback, you'll rescue Agent Fowler and obtain any crucial information about the Decepticons' latest plan that you can find. The rest of us will find Omega Danger and free him while our army of clones will take all Decepticon corpses to base. Let's roll."
In the bridge of the Nemesis, after the last Vehicon Trooper goes down, Fortressimus says over the commlink, "Okay, do you guys see alien math on one of the computers?"
Bombback sees the Space Bridge mechanics on a computer and replies, "Yes, Fortressimus."
The Prime replies back, "Okay, see if you can take a picture to show to Ratchet and Optimus."
Miko takes a picture with her phone and says at the same time as Windcore, "Done and done." "Done and done."
Fortressimus replies before advising, "Excellent work. But now, we must free Fowler and Omega Danger."
The Autobots left the bridge of the Nemesis, unaware of the last Decepticon Wall Crawler following them with orders to shoot down Arcee.
In the holding cells, Fortressimus and his team finds Omega Danger and they free him.
Upon awakening, Omega Danger spies the Autobot symbols on his rescuers and asks, "Autobots, how long have I been in here?"
Blow Saber calculates the time passed as he answers, "By my count, I'd say sixty-nine years."
Omega Danger replies, "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go stop Megatron's plan."
Nodding, Fortressimus and his team escorts Omega Danger to the brig in vehicle mode, with the new Autobot surprising his comrades with his racecar mode.
Suddenly, the Autobots take advantage of Agent Fowler's distraction to shoot Ironspan, who gets knocked in the chestplate by the shots just because of how many Autobots were shooting at him.
Victoryjump then jumps into the air, transforms to his jet mode, and blasts off, with his afterburner blasting Arcee off the ceiling.
Victoryjump flees the room just as Fortressimus' team comes up with Omega Danger.
Omega suddenly spots the Wall Crawler about to shoot Arcee at point-blank range and he fires an acidic shot at the Wall Crawler, taking it offline and melting it to nothing.
Everyone was shocked at how easy it was for Omega Danger to take down the last remaining Decepticon Wall Crawler.
Arcee remarks, "Omega Danger, is that you?"
Omega replies, "In the robotic flesh, Arcee."
Arcee embraces Omega Danger and they kiss, much to the shock of everyone in the room.
Jack then says, "Fortressimus, I have to say, if this was just an average day with the Autobots, then I don't want to be a part of it. Not anymore."
In the bridge of the Nemesis, Heatheart Prime says to Jetsable Prime as he finishes off with mutilating Steelway's corpse, "Dude... That... was so extreme."
Jetsable replies, "Optic for an optic, spark for a spark, and a denta for a denta."
In the bridge of the Nemesis, as Megatron backhands Victoryjump, he snarls, "Your mindless agenda has resulted in the disabling of my ship, the delay of my plans, AND the liberation of one of our more dangerous prisoners!"
Megatron steps on Victoryjump's head.
And finally for the recap, Ratchet finishes analyzing the Space Bridge schematics before saying, "It can't be. Optimus! Get everyone in here!"
Everyone comes into the command center.
Ratchet states, "I was right and Fortressimus was right; these are engineering schematics for a Space Bridge."
Silverimus states, "And since Megatron already has a Space Bridge, these engineering schematics are for how to operate the thing."
Bulkhead remarks, "The sooner he leaves, the better."
Fortressimus points out, "Bulkhead, all manner of Space Bridges run in two directions, just like a time portal for those like Vector Prime and just like a Ground Bridge."
Optimus adds, "Fortressimus is right; Megatron may not be using his Space Bridge to leave Earth, but to retrieve his conquering army of Terrorcons."
Ratchet questions before trailing off, "The main event Megatron referred to? But the only place where he can possibly recruit that many Terrorcons..."
Optimus replies, "Precisely."
The viewer screen leaves Earth before transitioning to the dead home planet of the Transformers.
Optimus finishes, "...that place is none other than Cybertron."
(End of recap.)
As everyone watches a hologram detailing what will happen if Megatron's plan works, Optimus states, "We cannot allow Megatron to send Dark Energon through his Space Bridge. If we fail in our mission, every deceased inhabitants of Cybertron – including the civilians and generic soldiers that were ever killed in the Great War – will rise, swarm through the Space Bridge vortex, and invade Earth, possibly bending humankind to Megatron's twisted will, or outright eradicating the human race. Thereby bringing a new type of apocalypse that is much different than what human works of fiction and scriptures portray the end of the world as."
The hologram dissipates as Fortressimus states, "I think we can all agree on that one."
Everyone respectively made comments of agreement.
Overscreen then points out as he asks, "But wait. Something doesn't sit right with me. If Megatron sends Dark Energon towards Cybertron, won't that make things worse for Primus' systems attempting to repair the damage Dark Energon did to his spark during the later days of the War for Cybertron? And won't the Grounder Terrorcons be stranded on Cybertron with no means of taking flight to the Space Bridge portal?"
Ratchet answers to the best of his ability, "Considering what you told us about Primus' planet mode being Cybertron and considering the fact that his spark is the core of Cybertron, your first question sounds entirely possible. If it's true, then it'll take even longer for Primus' systems to recover from Dark Energon poisoning. And considering the fact that there's an equal number of Grounders and Fliers that were murdered throughout the Great War, it's also possible that the Fliers will also be stranded on Cybertron unless their flight systems are magically repaired."
Overscreen replies, "I see."
Birdtrack then says, "Everyone, I'm afraid that if we do fail to stop Megatron from launching his Dark Energon stores into the Space Bridge, we would have to destroy the Space Bridge itself to prevent Megatron's Terrorcon army from coming through to this galaxy."
Ratchet gawks before pointing out, "Destroy the Space Bridge?! Even if we could do that, Birdtrack, how exactly would we be able to do it? We don't even possess the technology or the firepower necessary to do it."
Birdtrack answers, "Even if you were right, Ratchet, you won't need technology or sufficient firepower to destroy a Space Bridge fast enough when you have me. I have the power I need to blow up Decepticon weapons and technology without any difficulty and without draining my Energon reserves. Besides, with the armaments and the Dark Energon immunity I've been given – and yes, Bulkhead, I'm well aware that Fortressimus, his army and myself might be the only ones immune to Dark Energon since it's something extremely unheard of – I can easily destroy both the Space Bridge and Megatron's Dark Energon stores with relative ease. To top that off, we may even get the first and only once in a lifetime chance to blow up Megatron and his army to bits in the process. Now, wouldn't that be so sad for the remnants of the Decepticon army scattered all across the 28 galaxies of the universe?"
Optimus points out, "Even though your idea of destroying the Space Bridge is an excellent suggestion, we don't agree with your idea of destroying every Decepticon onboard the Nemesis at the same time. Autobots don't kill indiscriminately."
Fortressimus' optics glowed a searing red as he remarks, "Even if you were right, Megatron's still going to commit many atrocities, he's still going to endanger innocents, and he's still going to murder Autobots, Neutral Transformers, and humans who get in his way. It's as simple as this, and it's just like human superheroes of fictional legend in their own battles against the forces of evil: the longer you continue fighting crime or an interplanetary civil war without killing every member of such an organization for their crimes, they'll only continue to commit their crimes, they'll continue to spread chaos, and they'll continue to break out of prison the more you let them live."
Bumblebee states, "I hate to say this, Optimus, but he's right."
Optimus grunts in response, clearly not liking the fact he knows that Fortressimus was right.
Birdtrack then asks, "Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but is Ironspan going to be put in charge of the Decepticons if Megatron goes offline as long as the rest of the Decepticon army onboard the Nemesis aren't destroyed?"
Cliffjumper answers, "Unfortunately, yes, Birdtrack. If Megatron is ever offline, comatose or absent for long periods of time, Ironspan will be leading the Decepticons."
Birdtrack snorts before saying in a serious tone, "That imbecile Ironspan leading the Decepticons? Well then, it definitely looks like we have something to worry about if he's ever put in charge of the Decepticon army onboard the Nemesis no matter how incompetent or cowardly he seems to be. Besides that, even if I cut him into pieces without really killing him, it'd only be a matter of time before he's completely repaired to continue leading the Decepticons."
Arcee remarks, "It seems you know better than to underestimate all of our enemies, Birdtrack."
Birdtrack explains, "I've had experience over the past 6 million years or so in analyzing my enemies' command chains, fighting styles, strength in numbers, the way generic troops are created, the way generic troops are treated, the way generic troops are trained, the way enemy ships are mobilized, the way first lieutenants of enemy armies handle command of their troops in the absences of their generals, and so forth. Besides that, no matter how cowardly and incompetent Ironspan is, if he managed to mobilize the Nemesis beforehand just before Megatron returned and just before the ship has to take off after collecting Energon, then Ironspan is undoubtedly somewhat smarter and dangerous than one would think."
Bumblebee queries, "So, in essence, you never underestimated your opponents even once?"
Birdtrack answers, "Only once, before I was taught to analyze my enemies further thanks to my commander. Primus rest his spark."
Optimus states, "I'm sorry to hear that your commander is deceased."
Birdtrack replies, "Don't worry; he taught me everything I needed to know before he died on a medical berth due to spark failure."
Fortressimus shuddered.
Birdtrack then says, "But in all seriousness, ever since I started being educated by my commander, I learned how to properly state facts about what I know of people around me as I evaluate the data."
Ratchet remarks, "Your commander must've been a great teacher."
Birdtrack replies wistfully, "One of the greatest of his time and caliber."
Then, Arcee goes to retrieve Jack and the other techno-organics.
Suddenly, two loud thuds came from the medical bay.
After discovering Onorato's new Cybertronian form, the name of Forcescream was decided.
And the same was true for Anatole, now known as Blowwolf.
Meanwhile, at K.O. Drive-In, Jack exits the establishment as Arcee remarks, "I thought I'd find you here."
Jack turns to face Arcee and says, "Arcee, really, Fortressimus made me realize that you wouldn't be ready to say goodbye, especially in light of the fact that our combat training is not finished yet. But Miko is especially the most annoying out of all of us. And tell Optimus I respect him big time, but if we're at war with the Decepticons and Megatron's amassing an army of cannibalistic robotic zombies, there's not much even I can do."
Arcee replies, "First of all, Jack, I'm well aware; it's just that, as Fortressimus surmised, Miko has a deep-rooted inferiority complex. That combined with her wild and chaotic nature happens to equal a need to prove herself in any kind of impromptu bravery test, and she doesn't care if she gets someone hurt, most of the time. And secondly, Optimus didn't send me here, and nobody was going to ask you for help if we thought you wouldn't be capable of contributing to the Autobot cause. But we don't think that way with any humans we meet and recruit to our cause."
Jack then starts to say before trailing off with uncertainty, "Okay, and if we agree that I'm not soldier material..."
Arcee explains, "Jack, I just reunited with a boyfriend I thought I'd lost forever when he was taken prisoner. Maybe it's the past grief talking, maybe you're growing on me. But whatever it is, I'm just not ready to say goodbye."
Jack widened his eyes as he realizes that what Fortressimus said to him 2 days ago was true.
Later, as everyone gathers around the command center, Ratchet announces, "Optimus, I just located where Megatron's Space Bridge is. It's high above Earth's orbit."
Optimus adds, "Out of our reach despite how many Aerialbots and other flying Autobots we have and despite the fact that a big majority of our ground forces are now capable of flight. As well as despite the fact that we had upgraded our Ground Bridge into a Space Bridge several months ago."
Miko asks, "Okay, so some of you guys don't fly specifically in terms of your construction crew and your generic foot soldiers, and your Ground Bridge is now a Space Bridge. But if your Ground Bridge wasn't a Space Bridge, couldn't you just Ground Bridge there?"
Thundercracker replies, "No. A normal Ground Bridge has limited range."
Ratchet adds, "He's right, Miko; if it were stretched all the way into orbit, the vortex could snap and scatter all of us to the stars."
June points out, "But Ratchet, given the fact that Megatron is planning a rendezvous with his Space Bridge in person, I really don't think we have much of a choice. But I do happen to think that since the Ground Bridge is now capable of taking our forces to locations in space, we should take full advantage of it."
Optimus replies, "June is correct. Since Megatron is likely already in transit, I'm afraid we must take that risk and use our Space Bridge to our advantage. Reaching the Decepticon Space Bridge first is our only means of stopping him."
Blow Saber then inquires, "Ratchet, if the Ground Bridge could transport our forces halfway around the world without being supercharged into a Space Bridge, couldn't it work within Earth's atmosphere too?"
Ratchet thinks for a moment before answering, "In theory, it could, but it wouldn't get you close enough."
Triggerimus Prime replies, "Just see if you can get us as close as you can without making the portal too close. We can't have Megatron finding out about our Space Bridge, after all."
Ratchet nods.
Suddenly, a bike horn is heard from the entrance/exit to the base.
Ratchet whirls around as Arcee and Jack return.
Jack remarks, "Hey. Guess who's back in the long run?"
Fortressimus then replies, "Glad to see you took my words into consideration. You're just in time to witness the grand finale of the pilot episode five-parter. And who knows? Hopefully, with any fortune on our side, Megatron will be utterly defeated, even if temporarily. No matter if he gets caught in the explosion of his Space Bridge or not."
Tailgate remarks, "Well, aren't you bloodthirsty, Prime Jr?"
Fortressimus answers with a scowl on his face, "And I'm proud to be slightly murderous."
Fortressimus then says, "Optimus, sorry to disappoint you, but if we're going to survive and if humanity is going to survive the coming apocalypse, we must stop Megatron by any means necessary."
Optimus considers for a moment or two before he then declares, "For once, I agree. Autobots, prepare for departure."
Arcee questions, "Where to?"
Miko replies dramatically, "The final frontier."
Jack asks in confusion, "Space? I thought you guys didn't have any way to get there?"
Corvowing Prime replies, "We actually do, but we're also taking a bit of a big risk to get to the Decepticon Space Bridge. It's our only way of getting there to stop Megatron."
Benjamin quizzes, "Do you think you guys might need additional reinforcements?"
Optimus answers, "If we need further additional reinforcements, we'll ask for it, Benjamin. For the time being, we can't have Megatron finding out about any of you whatsoever. And the same goes for our techno-organic Predacons."
Jack looks at Arcee and inquires, "Be seeing you for now?"
Arcee gently hugs her new partner, causing him to hug her back.
Even Tailgate and Cliffjumper had never seen Arcee acting sentimental towards an organic species that would easily be crushed underfoot.
Ratchet activates the Space Bridge.
Fortressimus then says, "Jack, you and the others stay here. We might need you guys as a backup plan."
Jack replies, "Yes sir."
Rafael states, "Please be careful, Bee."
Bumblebee replies reassuringly, "Don't worry; we'll all be back before you know it."
Miko then says, "I'm so jealous."
Bulkhead warns her in a serious tone, "Don't even think about following me in human form or robot mode. Especially for Fortressimus' sake. But hey, be on your best behavior and both Fortressimus and Corvowing might just take you into space for a first time experience with zero gravity."
Miko nods, showing that she's listening for the first time.
Ratchet turns to face Optimus who has his back turned and Ratchet warns, "Optimus, if you leave me stranded on a planet teeming with humans and techno-organics, I will never forgive you."
Fortressimus replies for Optimus, "Who said anything about leaving you stranded? By my calculations, we'll be back in precisely 4 minutes and thirty-four seconds."
Optimus smiles slightly before remarking, "Until we meet again, old friend."
Clippoint, Optimus and the other Primes slide on their battle masks.
Optimus calls out, "Autobots, roll out!"

Roughlock, Leadwire, and Optimus Prime all transformed to their vehicle modes and their beast modes, and they drove, flew, and ran through the Ground Bridge to the upper point above the Earth's atmosphere.
Along the way, everyone could see that Birdtrack's ground vehicle mode is a mix between a 2014 Chevrolet Trax SUV and a 2014 Pagani Huayra sports car.
Also surprisingly, she had demonic bull horns on her head in robot mode, but they seem to disappear all too easily when she's in vehicle mode.
Bumblebee remarks in shock and awe, "Wow. I didn't know she looked normal when in vehicle mode."
Bulkhead also noticed that in vehicle mode, Birdtrack's wheels are a combination of silver, gold, chrome, bronze, and platinum blue.
Bulkhead mentally remarks, "Wow. Her wheels turned silver, gold, chrome, bronze, and platinum blue. That's cool."
Cliffjumper mentally remarks, "Well, at least I'll be the only Autobot with horns in vehicle mode. At least, if we don't take into account other Autobots that look like me, such as Tailgate."
Arcee observed Birdtrack's ground vehicle mode and remarks mentally, "Well, this is sort of ironic because of the name of the second car she looks like..."
Optimus mentally states, "How can a new Autobot like Birdtrack think about destroying an entire enemy army full of former innocent lives and full of war criminals that can easily change if properly convinced or properly reprogrammed? Even the Decepticons have to have a chance to defect and join our cause if they want to do so..."
Optimus mentally brushed that aside to focus on the task at hand.
As the numerous Autobots continue driving and flying through their own Space Bridge, Optimus calls out to his army, "Maximum overdrive!"
And so, the Autobots start driving and flying at maximum speed.
As the Autobot Space Bridge above the Earth opens, 6/1,000,000 of the entire new and improved Autobot army posted on Earth pours out from the portal as they float towards the Decepticon Space Bridge.
Optimus calls out, "Autobots, transform and gravitize!"
The Autobot army switches back to robot mode and they magnetized themselves to the Space Bridge.
Bulkhead stumbles a bit while magnetizing himself as he says, "Whoa, whoa. Don't look down, or up, or left."
Fortressimus remarks, "Try looking right."
Bulkhead replies quickly, "Nope, I'm good."
Everyone chuckled at Fortressimus' remark, except for Optimus, although Fortressimus could tell that the Autobot leader mentally found this situation slightly humorous.
Birdtrack just snorted in amusement.
Then, everyone's attention is drawn to the Nemesis docking far in front of them.
Arcee quizzes, "So, Megatron's packing enough Dark Energon to raise Cybertron's entire dead population?"
Fortressimus answers, "That's affirmative, Arcee."
Optimus adds, "And since we don't possess pre-prepared means of disabling the Space Bridge, nothing gets in or out!"
The Autobot army brings out their blasters, guns, cannons, and missile launchers, and they aim their weapons at the Nemesis.
On the bridge of the Nemesis, Megatron exclaims before saying, "What?! The Autobots do have lots of new recruits?! No matter; we have a much, much bigger army stationed on the ship capable of multiplying. And Optimus Prime certainly never disappoints. Unlike you, Ironspan!"
Victoryjump replies, "No need for concern, my liege. Soundwave is locking onto Cybertron's coordinates, per my instructions. Heh."
Megatron looks away, clearly not buying it although he's pleased that Soundwave is accomplishing his task.
But then, Megatron does a double take and he sees something he never expected: his prized Combaticons allied with the Autobots!
Megatron growls, "Rrrr! The Combaticons will pay dearly for their betrayal as well."
Megatron then sees Birdtrack and questions as he displays Birdtrack on the screen, "Who is that, Ironspan? Is it another new recruit? Because if it is, I was not aware that Optimus had another Multi Changer besides Springer, Broadside, Sandstorm, and Omega Danger. Let alone a femme Four Changer."
Victoryjump takes a good look and replies, "I was unaware of her as well, my liege. I don't know who she is and I've never seen her before."
Megatron narrows his optics at the screen as he remarks, "Hmm... this merits further investigation."
Megatron does another double-take and he sees the ninety-one additional Predacons.
Megatron mentally remarks, "So, Optimus has managed to recruit his own Predacons, has he? Well, 2 can play at that game."
Megatron then sees Starscream, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Skyquake, and Dreadwing with the Autobots.
Megatron growls softly.
Megatron then does yet another double-take and he sees Optimus' parents with them.
Megatron remarks, "Ah, so Optimus Prime has brought his parents with him. Well, I'm not scared of them like I used to be. I'm now the scariest Decepticon in existence."
Megatron then does another double-take and he sees Jetsable, recognizing him as the one who murdered Steelway.
Meanwhile, back on the Space Bridge, Birdtrack snarls as she reaches for her Demon Slayer sword.
At the sight of the Star Saber-sized weapon, everyone gaped in shock, including Optimus.
Bumblebee exclaims in shock and awe, "Whoa! Is that what I think it is?!"
Overscreen replies, "Yes, it is, Bumblebee. It's the Nichirin blade from the human animated cartoon known as Demon Slayer."
Bulkhead remarks, "Whoa. I'll admit that sword is pretty cool."
Birdtrack clarifies, "Yes, this is the Nichirin blade from the Demon Slayer animated cartoon, but my version is capable of cutting through the armors of Decepticons, undead Terrorcons, undead super soldiers revived by the Dark Spark, the armors of the toughest Decepticons in history which includes Trypticon in his vehicle mode of the Nemesis, and even through Unicron's armor with ease."
Everyone was even more surprised.
Arcee mutters out loud, "That sword retrofitted to destroy Decepticons and other kinds of abominations will certainly prove valuable, especially if we ever do encounter Unicron in the future."
Fortressimus remarks, "Now, that's a sword!"
All of the Autobots stared at him in confusion, prompting him to explain without slipping up thanks to the "4th directive," "In my time, I've always been obsessed with certain Autobots using swords."
Birdtrack then says, "Autobots, I'll commence my attack. All of you take your positions! This fight could go either way, so no matter what happens and no matter who shows up, make your actions today count for something! Cybertron and Earth are counting on us, so we can't take any chances!"
Birdtrack transforms to her bipedal dragon mode, much to everyone's shock, and shoots off towards the Nemesis.
Birdtrack swings her sword with a dragon roar escaping her mouth and she slices off one of the warship's wings.
As the Nemesis tilts and shudders, Arcee questions in confusion, "Well? What are they waiting for?"
Skywarp points to a specific part of the Nemesis and says, "Optimus, zoom in over there."
Optimus makes his optics zoom in and he sees the missing satellite dish.
Optimus observes the whole thing and announces, "It appears the Decepticons have sustained serious damage to their interstellar navigation system."
Fortressimus replies, "You got Bulkhead and I to thank for that."
Optimus states, "Great job, you two. Without the dish, (Over the commlink) Megatron will be unable to aim his Space Bridge at Cybertron."
In the base, Rafael questions, "Don't the Decepticons know where their own planet is, Ratchet?"
The CMO replies, "Naturally. But Cybertron is many lightyears away from Earth. Getting to Cybertron through the usage of a human spaceship would take millions of your years. Therefore, in order to reach their target, their aim has to be astronomically precise."
Buzzimus Prime then says, "Yes, and this is how it would be possible. Since Megatron has went to the trouble of rendezvousing with his Space Bridge in person, that must mean that thanks to Ironspan disobeying his master's orders, he's thought of a backup system, (Over the commlink) one that's operated remotely."
Ratchet scoffs, "Hmph. Based on what I know of Earth's technology, I doubt that there exists a single radio telescope dish on this planet powerful enough to pinpoint Cybertron's intergalactic coordinates."
Needleimus Prime then points out, "Okay, no offense, Ratchet, but just because humans are the size of cleaning drones, not made of metal and can only live up to eighty or a hundred years at most doesn't necessarily mean that they don't have some forms of strong technology, even by Cybertronian standards. Besides, when it comes to radio telescope dishes, even one or three of them are powerful enough to detect a virus in the Pentagon mainframe."
Rafael types a search command into his laptop and asks in reply, "He's right; what about a whole bunch of linked radio telescope dishes, like the giant-sized array in Texas?"
But Ratchet responds with, "Zip buh buh buh buh buh! This is not child's play!"
Optimus replies over the commlink, "Good thinking, Raf. Ratchet, have Agent Fowler alert the array staff to the security hazard."
Suddenly, Agent Fowler exclaims deliriously, "You! Soldier! You're out of uniform! Put on some pants!"
Agent Fowler collapses back onto the gurney.
Tailgate exclaims, "Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Somebody tell me that was captured on video!"
Pyrodragon answers, "Every second of it, Tailgate."
Fortressimus points out over the commlink in a slightly amused tone before adorning a serious tone, "I don't think that's going to be possible, Optimus. And even if it was possible, Soundwave is already there, which kind of explains the security being lax, and the way I see it is this thing can only be done on the inside of the building."
Rafael types a command into his laptop before slamming the desk in frustration and saying, "He's right; the firewalls are too thick for me to get past!"
Ratchet quizzes in a manner that sounds like he's almost about to laugh, "You actually think you can keep the Decepticons out of the system?"
Rafael replies, "Yes, if I could get in."
Optimus replies in return, "The risk is too great. Fortressimus said that the Decepticons are there already. This is much too dangerous."
Jack points out, "Optimus, with all due respect, Fortressimus also said that this is much bigger than one hundred and ninety-eight of our techno-organics recruited this late in the war between Autobots and Decepticons. This is also much bigger than 657 normal humans. We're part of the only ones available to do anything about Megatron's latest plan."
Miko adds, "Yeah, if we let the Decepticons win, we're dead along with everyone on Earth."
Optimus then inquires, "Raf, are you certain you wish to undertake this task?"
Rafael replies, "I want to give it a shot."
Meanwhile, on the Nemesis, Victoryjump states while balancing himself, "Surely, Lord Megatron, the Autobots are up to something."
Megatron gets in Victoryjump's face very carefully as he asks, "Really, Ironspan?"
The Seeker commander replies, "Yes, really."
Megatron scowls before he presses two buttons on the command console, sounding the alarm and activating the speakers across the ship.
Megatron calls out, "All Seekers, attack the Autobots! Crush them! Also, assemble a team to destroy the new Autobot Four Changer! And whoever brings me the heads of the Guardian Knight Autobot, the Autobots' Predacons, Optimus Prime's parents, and the traitorous Combaticons will get extra rations and will be relieved of guard duty and mining duty!"
Suddenly, nine hundred and ninety-nine googolplex, nine hundred and ninety-nine millinillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine nongentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine octingentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine septingentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine sescentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine quingentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine quadringentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine trecentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine ducentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine nonagintacentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine octogintacentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine septuagintacentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine sexagintacentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine quinquagintacentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine quadragintacentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine trigintacentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine unviginticentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine viginticentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine undecicentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine decicentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine uncentillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine centillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine skewer's number, nine hundred and ninety-nine googol, nine hundred and ninety-nine duoquadragintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine unquadragintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine quadragintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine octotrigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine septentrigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine sextrigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine quintrigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine quattourtrigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine tretrigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine duotrigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine untrigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine trigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine novemvigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine octovigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine septenvigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine sexvigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine quinvigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine quattuorvigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine trevigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine duovigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine unvigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine vigintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine novemdecillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine octodecillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine septemdecillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine sexdecillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine quindecillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine quattuordecillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine tredecillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine duodecillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine undecillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine decillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine nonillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine octillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine sextillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine quintillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine quadrillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine trillion, nine hundred and ninety-nine billion, nine hundred and ninety-nine million, nine hundred and ninety-nine thousand, nine hundred and ninety nine Vehicon Jets emerge from the flight deck of the Nemesis in vehicle mode specifically in terms of numbered groups and they fly towards the Autobots while a big enough squadron of nine hundred thousand black, red, and purple Vehicon Jets are deployed to deal with Birdtrack.
Bulkhead remarks, "Whoa. Now that's what I would call a welcoming committee."
Overscreen remarks as well while spinning his Ion Pulse Cannons, "Good. I've been itching for a good fight."
Onslaught points out in realization, "Um, soldiers, I think Megatron saw me and my team, hence the big number of Fliers."
Fortressimus then adds, "And by my own calculations, Megatron saw Birdtrack, Optimus' parents, me and our Predacon allies as well."
Optimus is silently shocked, if only a little bit concerned for the safety of the Combaticons, his parents, the Predacons, Birdtrack, and Fortressimus.
Optimus then sees Birdtrack holding her own against the Vehicon Jets sent to kill her.
Suddenly, much to the surprise of pretty much all of the Autobots, a medium-sized ray gun emerges from the underbelly of the Nemesis, and it shoots a chained stream of electricity at the Vehicon Jets, making them multiply into the googol number range.
Fortressimus exclaims, "Impossible! A Matter Duplication Ray?!"
Optimus is also aghast at what he just saw.
Suddenly, Fortressimus Prime's clones and the generic Aerialbot army showed up with replicas of Holebomb and Bonestreak in weapon mode.
And if that didn't shock everyone enough, one of Omega Danger's visible weapons that he's holding is an Energon-based WMB2x90 Anti-Kaiju Missile Launcher from Pacific Rim: Uprising.
The generic Vehicons continue flying towards the Autobots.
Meanwhile, in Texas, Jack, Miko, and Rafael are bridged to the dish array.
Upon emerging on the other side of the fence, the kids groan in unison as they try to stand upright.
Jack groans while holding his head, "Ooh. That'll take some getting used to."
Miko remarks before shaking off the dizziness, "Oh, I don't feel so good."
The kids recover quickly thanks to being techno-organics and they spot the facility in front of them.
Nodding in unison, the kids rush into the building.
Meanwhile, back at the Space Bridge, the Vehicon Jets split up to fire on the Autobot army and the generic Fortressimus Prime clones and the generic Aerialbots.
Optimus shoots down four to six Vehicons before they transform and land on the Space Bridge ring to fight the Autobots on solid ground.
Optimus dodges a punch and he slams a Vehicon Jet into the ground before throwing him into another Vehicon Jet.
Bulkhead brings out his wrecking ball and slams it onto a Vehicon's head so hard that the head pops off, killing the drone.
But then, much to the shock of pretty much everyone on Optimus' initial Autobot team, Fortressimus Prime and his deployment and Optimus' relatives performed many different attacks that proved effective on the Vehicons that couldn't be reprogrammed.
First, Fortressimus deploys his Dark of the Moon Omega Combat Armor and flies off, blasting every Vehicon that couldn't be reprogrammed for any reason.
Fortressimus riddles some Jets with bullet holes before firing rockets at other ones.
Silverimus blasts multiple Vehicons with his Cosmic Rust Blaster while slashing and dicing others with his Primax Blade and while blocking even the strongest missiles with his shield, nuclear missiles excluded.
In his super robot mode, Slapimus Prime readies his cannons and calls out, "Come and get it! CYBER KEY POWER!"
Slapimus' Autobot leader Cyber Key activates his cannons' full power and he blasts a wave of Vehicon Jets with it.
Deadimus Prime activates his Powerlink super mode with Slap Haul and calls out while holding his blaster, "Maximum Blast!"
A lot of red and yellow laser blasts fire out of the barrel and they blast several Vehicon Jets to pieces, taking them offline.
Dragimus Prime enters his Battle Mode and aims his ladder while shouting, "Blizzard Storm!"
His Blizzard Storm freezes another wave of Vehicon Jets below -700 degrees, making the statues more fragile than glass. And some of the statues shattered to pieces when they collided with each other.
Ridertimus Prime enters his own super mode and unleashes his multi-fire Energon Blast, disintegrating several Vehicon Jets.
Megaimus Prime combined into a lookalike of the Combiner Wars Optimus Maximus with the added Rodimus for the chestplate by the name of Megaimus Maximus with his five troops: Searchgate, Stormtop, Ramasor, Headburner, and Razorhandler. As the combiner rages through the battlefield, he manages to kill hundreds to thousands of multiplying Vehicon Jets.
Galvaimus Prime entered his Powermaster robot mode and unleashed all of his weapons upon hundreds of Vehicons.
Fireimus Prime entered his own Powermaster robot mode and he unleashed hails of gunfire and missiles at the Vehicon Jets.
Then, Fireimus took out his swords and he sliced up different Vehicon Jets who landed to get physical with him.
In addition to that, Sideimus Prime also took flight in his Zeta Combat Armor and unleashed his full firepower on an armada of five thousand Vehicon Jets.
Wingimus Prime took flight as well and not only used his Cyber Keys, but he also used his Powermaster weapons.
Airimus Prime also took flight in his Super Battle Mode and unleashed both his Blizzard Storm and his Cyber Key.
Swipeimus Prime also unleashed his Combat Deck while occasionally slicing up Vehicon Jets who tried to engage him six to one.
Trackimus Prime enters his own Super Mode and unleashes his Ultra Scatter Blast.
Siximus Prime took flight and unleashed his Beta Combat Armor's full firepower on the Vehicon Jet army.
Burnimus Prime also took flight and unleashed his full firepower while sparingly using his Cyber Key.
Gutimus Prime also took flight in Super Mode and unleashed his Maximum Mega Blast.
Hammerimus Prime also unleashed his Combat Deck on multiple Vehicon Jets while taking flight.
Longimus Prime took flight and sliced up Vehicons while deflecting shots with his Mega Shield and shooting back.
Wideimus Prime simply shot down Vehicons and sliced them to pieces with his Energon Axe.
Downimus Prime also took flight and took out Vehicons by either using his minigun or using his dragon mode.
Redimus Prime entered his own Super Mode and he also took flight while unleashing his own Maximum Blast called Ultimate Blast.
Treadimus Prime deployed his Combat Deck and took flight, with both components shooting down Vehicon Jets and generic Seekers while occasionally slicing Vehicons to pieces.
Macronimus Prime took flight and sliced some Vehicon Jets to pieces with his swords, including his Prime Decepticon Hunter, while occasionally firing missiles and his handheld minigun at other Vehicon Jets to shoot them down. And he also either riddled some Jets with bullet holes, or shot them until they exploded.
Buzzimus Prime used his Ion Blasters, his Energon Shotguns, his shoulder-mounted missile launchers, his Energon Axe, and his Mobile Defense Base inside his trailer to cleave his way through dozens of multiplying Vehicon Jets.
Needleimus Prime used his own firepower and his Alpha Combat Armor to riddle multiplying Vehicon Jets with bullet holes and rocket holes, as well as stab holes and as well as some of them being vivisected and decapitated.
Triggerimus Prime used his Sword of Retribution, his Theta Shield, his Delta Combat Armor, his Mobile Defense Base, his Cyber Key Power, his Blizzard Storm, his Maximum Scatter Blast, his Energon Fire Blast, his Powermaster weaponry, and his normal robot mode weaponry to take out tripe digit thousands of multiplying Vehicon Jets.
Arcee blasts two more Vehicons before kicking another one who tried to sneak behind her.
Then, Arcee deploys her arm blades before slicing two more Vehicons into pieces with them.
Then, Arcee deploys her rotary cannons before activating her jetpack and taking to the air, blasting away any Decepticons foolish enough to come close in jet mode or in robot mode and riddling them with bullet holes.
Bumblebee deploys his newly-rebuilt Energon Swords from his old War for Cybertron body-type and he slices and dice several multiplying Vehicon Jets. And he also unleashes his missile payload while doing fly-bys in jet mode.
Cliffjumper uses his newly-rebuilt cloaking shield to sneak behind Vehicon Jets and plant Thermal Core Detpacks on them and to perform stealth executions. He also unleashes his missiles and laser blasts in jet mode.
Tailgate, meanwhile, gets high enough to snipe down Vehicon Jets before they can sneak attack any of his fellow Autobots. And the moment a Decepticon tries to fire on him, he immediately decapitates them before flying overhead to do fly-bys and destructive hit-and-runs in jet mode.
Onslaught calls out, "Combaticons, combine into Bruticus!"
Onslaught and his Combaticons combined into Bruticus, and he took to the battlefield with everything he's got.
In short, just destroying even Vehicon combiners was all too easy for Bruticus. Simply because, even as a select few combiners in the higher ranks, Vehicon Troopers have weak armor compared to their commanders and other Decepticons.
Starscream did his part by outrunning and outmaneuvering the enemy Energon shots and missiles while planting Thermal Core Detpacks on them and getting enough distance to detonate them.
Skywarp also did his part, but by performing sneak attacks thanks to his cloaking technology and his ability to teleport.
Thundercracker did his part by spawning C.L.U.T.C.H. drones to assist his comrades.
Skyquake also did his part, by using his handheld minigun to riddle multiple Vehicon Jets with bullet holes, eventually taking twenty-five of them offline.
Dreadwing also did his part by blasting Vehicons, shelling them with grenades, and planting bombs on several Vehicons before getting enough distance and detonating them with three second timers.
Ironrider was doing her part by using her Plasma Cannon, her Machine Guns, her shoulder-mounted missile launchers, her arm-mounted missile launchers, her Crab Claw, her Stealth Force Plasma Cannon, her Stealth Force Rocket Launchers, her Toe Guns, her laser cannon, and her battle hammer.
Overscreen put his weapons and combat skills to kill dozens of Vehicon Jets simply by blasting them with shells from his Ion Pulse Cannons, riddling them with bullet holes from his Heavy Iron 1.0. Assault Rifle, blasting them with rockets from his Heavy Iron 2.0. Battle Rifle, blowing them up with his Grenade Blossom ability, blasting away with his Radial Missile Launcher, blasting additional rockets with his Multi Missile Launcher, blasting additional shells with his Iron Shotgun, or by using his Muay Thai skills.
Darksor did his part by using his Crescent Cannon, using his shield, or by using his skills learned from different iterations of Jazz.
Blow Saber did his part by using his Energon Multi-Beam Machine Gun, his Sticky Grenade Launcher, his buzz saw, his Beam Fusion Energon guns, his Energon Machine Guns, his missile launcher, and his energy cannon.
Black Spider and Blackwidow did their parts by infecting several Vehicons with their techno-organic cyber-venom.
Blazemaster did his part by blasting several multiplying Vehicon Fliers and multiplying Ground Vehicon Troopers while also slicing them with his helicopter blades.
Breeze Master and Fireworks Master did their parts by blasting several Vehicons and covering them in explosive gel that automatically detonates upon spreading all over their targets.
Carnivac tore several Vehicons apart using his beast mode, and same with Catilla.
Choppermaster did his part by combining with his drones and destroying the Vehicon Combiners that came after him in full force.
Crystal Widow did her part by infecting several Vehicons with her own cyber-venom and webbing up several Vehicons.
Carzap did his part by zapping Vehicons with freeze rays, heat beams, fire blasts, and electric grenades.
The differently named iterations of the Combaticons combined into their own version of Bruticus to fight more of the Vehicon combiners.

Tightcutter did his part by boxing the Vehicons and smashing them in dino mode.
Gripthroat did his part by blasting Vehicons with his laser vision and slicing them to pieces with his sword and spinning blades.
Daresteel did his part by crushing Vehicons to pieces in beast mode.
Hot Break did her part by blasting Vehicons to pieces and slicing them with his buzz saw.
Steamtractor did his part by tying Vehicons in his wired harpoon, reeling them in, and blasting their heads off with his shoulder cannon.
Laserknock did his part by using the techniques and weapons of all versions of the Generation 1 Megatron with a tank mode.
Hawkshear did his part by blasting Vehicons in jet mode.
Wheelrider also did his part by blasting and slicing Vehicons with his batons that double as blasters and swords.
Aero Raid also does strafe and bomb runs on the Vehicon Jets.
Omega Danger uses his missile launcher that works in the same manner as the real missile launcher from Pacific Rim, as Fortressimus noticed.
Skullsor takes out her own Stormfall Sword and she slices up multiple Vehicon Jets that get in her way.

Tailflight does his part by using his wing-sword to slice up Vehicons, along with using his Null Beam Cannons in his wings to blow up swarms of multiplying Vehicon Jets, using his sonic pulse cannons to break Vehicon Jet frames apart, and using his Null Laser Cannons when Powerlinked with Sonichide to blast Vehicon Jets to pieces.
Beachswipe does his part by slicing Vehicons to pieces and blasting them with his flare launchers.
Grim Magnus did his part by slicing Vehicons to pieces with his helicopter blades.
Fortressimus deploys out of his chestplate another of his Weaponizer Mini-Cons, Metalblaster, and he goes around the battlefield in his fire-axe mode slicing up and decapitating Vehicons left and right.
Jakestreet did his part by blasting Vehicons apart with his Energon multi-rapid fire shotgun and by slicing up Vehicons with his Energon Swords based on the ones used by the Energon Megatron/Galvatron, but only the handheld ones.
Venus did her part by wrecking Vehicons with her swordlike wrenches, her lances, her shield-blasters, and her Chain Guns of Death.
Sandman did his part by wrecking Vehicons with his sandblaster and with his bo staff with a hidden katana blade.
Rotaikey did his part by wrecking Vehicons with his Energon clubs, his Null-Ray cannons, and his back-mounted twin laser cannons.
Boltyin did her part by bombing Vehicons from above and by blowing them away thanks to the power of her jet mode thrusters.
Cloudfin did her part by freezing Vehicons with her freezing gun and then smashing them with her hammer.
Metrofest did his part by slicing Vehicons to pieces with his Energon blades and shooting them to pieces with his particle beam cannon that the Generation 1 Galvatron has.
Bombspeed did her part by slicing Vehicons with her katanas and blasting them to bits with her Energon shotguns.
Bumbleshaker did his part by decapitating Vehicons with his Energon Hooks, detonating sticky grenades on them, and blasting Vehicons with his Rocket Launchers and his Double Rocket Launchers.
Strikeblank did his part by blowing up Vehicons and melting them with not just his acid pellet blaster, but also his Corrosive Slime Cannon.
Gunhold, Crosstrack, Crosspit, Searchcross, Grimwipe, Thundergut, Skullshock, Kickdown, Pointfeather, Bumblebeak, Splashrunner, Laserway, Stakebeak, Mainload, Slugrock, Splashtrap, Tipface, Sparkthroat, Trailgrin, Banzaistick, Divesweeper, Battlebomb, Air Haul, Downcharger, Redpunch, Omegabar, Rollfight, Sandlane, Snapburner, Mudwipe, Thundercharger, Metalstreak, Lazerhide, Lazersteel, and Magmahead all did their parts by either slicing, zapping, and smashing up the Vehicon Jets with their swords, axes, blades, maces, prods, stingers, scimitars, laser rods, laser nunchucks, laser snares, claws, hammers, spears, and sabers, but also by using the guns and other kinds of firearms they have in robot mode, jet mode, tank mode, artillery vehicle mode, etc.
Blazewave did his part by blasting Vehicons apart with his Riot Cannons and his tank cannons while also slicing them apart with his swords. The first one looks like the kind that Bludgeon would use, and the second one looks like the type of sword that the Robots in Disguise 2015 Megatronus would use.
Chasebow did her part by blasting Vehicons with the same blasters and cannons that Cliffjumper and Arcee use today and in the War for Cybertron/Fall of Cybertron video games.
Soarduke did his part by using his Super Megatron/Ultra Megatron hybrid frame to blast and slice Vehicons apart in robot mode, jet mode, and tank mode.

Downbreaker, Blastmix, Crosswind, Cliffcase, Longbuster, Gutcone, Laserface, Powerbuster, and the other Autobots in the deployment for the Space Bridge Battle did their parts in various ways, including the Autobots, Maximals, Predacons and Autobot-affiliated Decepticon-lookalikes who resemble various Autobots, Maximals, Predacons and Decepticons throughout the Transformers multiverse.
In particular, Fortressimus and his fellow Primes took the battlefield to the next level by combining into Fortressimus Maximus as well as Corvowing Prime and his fellow Primes combining into Crowraker Prime.
Jetsable and his fellow Predacon Primes also did their parts by blasting Vehicons apart and slicing them to pieces with their greatswords.
And the other Predacons used their other kinds of weapons to destroy Vehicons left and right.
In short, despite how many Vehicon Seekers there was being deployed, despite how many lead Vehicons of varying colors multiplied their armies and themselves, and despite how many Vehicon Seekers were being reprogrammed, disintegrated, shot to pieces, sliced to pieces, decapitated, burned to ashes, riddled with bullet holes, blown up, or multiplied, it was a complete and total massacre.
Megatron shouts, "DAH! CAN'T ANYONE DO ANYTHING RIGHT?!"
Meanwhile, in the unused computer room, Miko peeks out the door and sees no guards around and no cameras turned on.
Miko remarks, "Security sure is lax in this place."
Needleimus Prime points out over the commlink, "That's because Soundwave turned off the cameras and killed the guards to prevent them from snitching. He's not too keen on leaving behind survivors or witnesses who could potentially snitch to their superiors and potentially expose the existence of the Transformers to the entire world."
Miko replies, "Touche."
Rafael types a command into the computer.
Then he announces before slightly scowling, "I'm in! And so are the Decepticons."
Jack and Miko ask one after the other, "What?!" "How do you know?"
Rafael explains, "Schematics, with the same alien math we saw on the Nemesis. But this time, I can download it."
Rafael plugs his flash drive into one of the slots.
Miko remarks, "It's gotta be the Space Bridge."
Rafael explains further, "The Decepticons are syncing the telescope dishes to the Space Bridge, but I can sync to them."
Jack quizzes, "Will they know?"
Rafael answers, "Considering the fact that Fortressimus said that Soundwave is here, I'm dead certain that they will know."
Meanwhile, in the server room, Soundwave aligns the dishes together.
On the Space Bridge ring, the whole thing starts vibrating and making rumbling sounds, making everyone slightly stumble.
Arcee quizzes, "Whoa. What was that?"
Optimus replies, "The Decepticons are locking onto Cybertron."
Fortressimus flies in while remarking, "But not for long."
On the Nemesis, Victoryjump and Counterheader see the heads up display with the notification that the dishes are locked onto Cybertron.
Counterheader announces, "Mighty Megatron, the Space Bridge is ready at last!"
Megatron remarks, "At last indeed."
In the room, Rafael announces, "Okay, they're locked onto Cybertron. But not for long, and not on my watch."
Rafael types a command and the dishes move out of alignment.
The Space Bridge stops vibrating.
Bumblebee buzzes cheerfully, "He did it!"
Optimus smacks a Vehicon to the ground before replying, "Indeed, Bumblebee. This can only be Raf's doing."
Fortressimus then freezes time and goes to Cybertron to clone the bodies of the dead Autobots and Decepticons, hoping to make new Autobots and new clones.
After having his clone army take the duplicated corpses back to base, Fortressimus goes back to the other side of the Space Bridge and he unfreezes time.
On the Nemesis, Counterheader exclaims, "What the?! The dishes just moved out of alignment!"
Megatron growls, "Ironspan, what is happening?"
Victoryjump replies, "I-I don't know, Master!"
Victoryjump then contacts Soundwave and asks, "Soundwave, what is happening?!"
Soundwave pauses his work to sift through the cameras until he comes across the kids.
But what Soundwave didn't know is that Fortressimus Prime gave the kids commando-style ninja outfits that disguised their appearances, their voices and so forth in every way possible.
Briefly noticing the now active camera, Rafael says, "The dishes are heading back towards Cybertron. I'll just undo that one again."
Soundwave detaches one of his tentacles from the servers and extends it all the way to the underused computer room.
Jack questions, "What happens when the Decepticons realize they're being punked?"
Rafael replies, "We'll just have to deal with it."
Jack notices the door opening, but because Soundwave didn't anticipate Jack being less oblivious to stealth attacks, the tentacle grabs him.
But Jack holds on and starts sawing at the tentacle with his chainsaw, spilling Energon from the gashes.
Soundwave angrily tries to shake off Jack, but he finds out the hard way that Jack has an unbreakable Kung-Fu grip.
Miko grabs an axe and smashes Soundwave's tentacle, only to get thrown into a wall alongside Jack.
Rafael finishes his work as quickly as possible before retrieving his flash drive and dodging the tentacle's smash attack that manages to total the computer.
The tentacle then grabs the axe.
Jack exclaims, "You handed it an axe?!"
Rafael remarks, "This is so not good."
Soundwave makes his axe-wielding tentacle leave the room.
After aligning the dishes towards Cybertron again, Soundwave cuts the hardline with the axe to make the alignment permanent.
Then, the dishes move in alignment again.
The kids rush into the server room, and Soundwave sees them from the roof skylight.
Miko takes out her phone and snaps a picture of Soundwave.
Soundwave does a decent impression of a cameraman as he remarks, "Say cheese!"
And with a Whirrr-snap sound effect, Soundwave takes a picture of the kids, and he transforms to his Predator drone form before blasting off back to the Nemesis.
Miko questions as she removes her mask, "Why is he leaving?"
Rafael observes the severed wire as he answers, "Because he cut the hardline. The radio dishes are locked onto Cybertron. For good."
Jack replies, "Not much we can do about it now."
On the Nemesis, Megatron inquires, "Now, Ironspan?"
Victoryjump replies, "Now."
And he presses the alarm button to activate the Space Bridge.
Back at the battle, the Space Bridge opens a portal to Cybertron, causing the Vehicon Jets to fall to the ring because they don't have rockets on their backs or built into their feet to allow them to fly in robot mode.
Everyone notices Megatron emerge from an elevator to the top of the Nemesis, hoisting the huge crystal of Dark Energon over his head and back.
Megatron cries out, "AT LAST!"
Megatron throws the crystal as hard as he can.
Optimus and Fortressimus try to shoot down the crystal, but even the younger Prime's charged rockets missed.
Fortressimus exclaims, "NOOOOOOO!"
Then, the Dark Energon crystal is shown racing towards Cybertron's surface like a meteor.
Once the crystal makes impact, it spreads purple veins and cracks across the surface of the entire planet, reviving from the dead millions and millions of dead Transformers of every frame and job type, Autobots, Decepticons, civilians, and Neutrals.
Megatron's chestplate, Decepticon symbol, and optics glow a deep purple once again as he exclaims at the top of his intakes, "ARISE, MY LEGION!"
Almost immediately, Megatron's planet-sized army of Terrorcons rises from their graves and they rush towards the Space Bridge portal, except for the Grounder Terrorcons. Because, let's face it, there's no way for the Terrorcons based on Autobot and Decepticon Grounders to reach the Space Bridge portal without having built in jetpacks.
Meanwhile, one of Fortressimus' Animated Blitzwing clones shoots a beam of ice at Megatron, freezing him on impact.
But then, not even six seconds later, Megatron breaks free of his icy imprisonment.
Growling in frustration, Fortressimus calls out to his armies of clones, "DARGH! Clones! Take the Vehicon corpses back to base!"
Complying, the Fortressimus clones took as many Vehicon corpses as they could and took them back to base.
Bulkhead then questions, "So, how are we going to fight and kill an entire planet of the undead?"
Silverimus Prime replies, "It's deathly impossible. No matter what we did, we were still doomed. And sadly, no matter how many numbers Fortressimus and the rest of his troops can create out of anything or out of thin air, any attempt to take on Megatron's planet-sized Terrorcon army would be a suicide mission."
In the base, as Agent Fowler awakens, Ratchet states, "Optimus! I'm detecting a rapidly expanding mass in the Space Bridge vortex, one with a peculiar energy signature."
Optimus replies, "(Over the commlink) Dark Energon. Ratchet, just like Birdtrack suggested, we failed to stop Megatron, so therefore, we must destroy the Space Bridge. (In person) There's enough live Energon coursing through it to achieve the detonation, but Birdtrack is preoccupied and we lack the firepower to ignite it."
In the base, Ratchet replies back, "Perhaps if I knew how precisely the Space Bridge was engineered, I might be able to find a tactical way of accomplishing that task."
Rafael asks while holding up his flash drive, "Um, would schematics help out?"
Ratchet nods before quizzing, "Optimus, I must say, the Decepticon's Space Bridge is one half of our sole hope of ever returning to Cybertron. Are you sure that the Space Bridge's destruction is our only option?"
Optimus replies, "I'm afraid so."
Ratchet replies back, "Then, by all means, (In unison with Fortressimus) let's light our darkest hour!" "Let's light our darkest hour!"
On the Space Bridge ring, Optimus declares, "Autobots, take your positions, and follow Ratchet's lead... while I make my stand."
The Autobot army drives and flies to the bottom side of the Space Bridge while Optimus turns to face Megatron's approach.
Optimus notices Jetsable looking at the fighter jet accompanying Megatron, and gapes behind his battle mask, having recognized this second fighter jet as the Decepticon known as Tideclash, Megatron's 6th adopted older brother.
Since Optimus mentally told Fortressimus through the bond they share thanks to being Primes and thanks to their Matrices about Megatron and Tideclash, Optimus felt Fortressimus' shock and anger over not knowing that Megatron had any siblings and while being informed that, all across the Transformers multiverse and in many mainstream Transformers Generation 1, Robots in Disguise 2001, Armada, Energon, Cybertron, 2007 Movieverse to The Last Knight, Animated, War for Cybertron, Fall of Cybertron, Primeverse, Cyberverse, War for Cybertron Siege to Kingdom, and Earthrise, Megatron never had any siblings whatsoever.
Megatron and Tideclash both transform to robot mode and they land.
Then, Megatron remarks to Jetsable, "I should thank you for disposing of a thorn in my side plate, but Steelway still had some uses and some value to the Decepticon cause."
Jetsable snarls in reply, "Well, you shouldn't thank me, 'cause he suffered the consequences for offing a friend of my High Queen. As the humans say, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth."
Megatron remarks again, "Ha! Finally, I see for myself an Autobot with the ball bearings to exact vengeance upon any kind of enemy. Which is more than I can say for most others. Especially since it appears that your entire Autobot army is wise, Optimus. They know when to retreat."
Optimus replies, "I hold no illusions or insanities about engaging your army alone or with my comrades, Megatron. But I might derail its objective permanently... by removing its head."
Optimus deploys his right-hand sword. And Jetsable takes out his greatsword.
Megatron cackles as he points out smugly, "That is highly unlikely, Optimus, as I am infused with their very might! And I can easily bring myself back to life with Dark Energon!"
Ignoring Megatron's point about the Dark Energon possibly reviving him from the dead, Optimus declares, "One shall stand, one shall fall."
Megatron scowls, before he deploys his sword underneath his Fusion Cannon and charges towards Optimus with a war cry.
Tideclash deploys his own katana and charges towards Jetsable.
Megatron does a spinning jump slash, but his blow is countered by Optimus' sword.
Jetsable does a spinning sword swing towards Tideclash, but the Primeverse/Energon/Last Knight/Machine Wars/2007 Movieverse Megatron in Shattered Glass Optimus Prime colors manages to parry the sword attack.
Optimus tries a backhanded slash and a downward hammer slash, but he misses before Megatron punches his former friend in the face, making him stagger backwards.
Tideclash attempts to slash Jetsable, but Jetsable manages to riposte the slash while jumping over Tideclash before grabbing him from behind in the jump flip and tossing him into the wall of the Space Bridge ring.
Megatron tries a decapitating slash, but Optimus ducks.
Tideclash attempts to fly-ram into Jetsable, but the Predacon prince ducks underneath his opponent and he shoots his Riot Cannon into Tideclash's chestplate, damaging it.
Tideclash crashes onto the floor to a stop.
Megatron tries a reverse slash, but he misses again.
Tideclash gets up and tries to impale Jetsable from behind, only to get punched hard in the face, taking him out for the count.
Megatron tries to hammer Optimus' head with his sword, but Optimus catches the blow with his own sword.
Optimus tries two more slashes before punching Megatron in the face with his sword.
Megatron slides backwards a bit before catching himself.
Optimus runs towards Megatron and tries a hammer slash, but Megatron catches the blow.
Megatron smirks evilly as he tries to slash Optimus' right leg, but he misses again.
The swordfight continues while Megatron's undead army continues swarming closer and closer to the Space Bridge portal.
In the base, Agent Fowler inquires, "These things are getting closer and closer by the minute. That's bad, right?"
Cryodragon replies, "Yes. Very bad, Agent Fowler."
Silverimus comms the base and advises, "Ratchet, we are all in position."
As Rafael types a command into one of the computers, Ratchet replies, "Silverimus, please pay close attention to what I have to say."
Meanwhile, Megatron punches Optimus across the face before smacking his sword into Optimus' tank without really puncturing it.
Optimus readies himself for Megatron's next blow, but the Decepticon leader's sword smacks into Optimus' sword so hard that the upper tip is broken in half and flies behind the combatants.
Optimus is aghast at what Megatron just did.
Then, Megatron uppercuts Optimus with his sword, grabs him by his left leg, slams him into the ground, and throws him aside.
Jetsable punches Megatron in the face, and does several overhand punches before being kneed in the groin and receiving an uppercut.
Jetsable appears to be out for the count as well.
As Optimus' armor starts sparking to signify heavy damage, Megatron approaches his former comrade, poised to deliver the final blow.
Just then, Victoryjump comms him and asks, "Master, are you still there?"
Megatron demands, "Ironspan, what is it?!"
On the bridge of the Nemesis, Victoryjump explains, "I don't wish to question your all-seeing wisdom, but I have reason to believe that the Autobots are up to something again – beneath the Space Bridge this time."
Back at the fight, Megatron remarks, "Ahh... Misdirection, Optimus? You would've made a fine Decepticon."
Megatron raises his sword again and tries to deliver the final blow, but Optimus blocks the blow with the hilt of his broken sword and replies, "You of all people know I am a terrible actor. AND I chose my side long ago on Cybertron."
Optimus moves Megatron's sword out of the way, deploys his Ion Blaster, and fires a point-blank shot into Megatron's chestplate region, sending him flying.
As Optimus tries to shoot Megatron some more, Megatron regains control, switches to his jet mode, and flies off to the underbelly of the Space Bridge.
Jetsable snarls, "Come back here and fight, you silver-armored coward!"
Jetsable jumps into the air and transforms to dragon mode before giving chase.
Megatron says into his commlink, "Ironspan, Counterheader, my army approaches. Rendezvous with the Space Bridge for pickup."
Birdtrack notices this and snarls, "Oh no, you don't, Megatoilet!"
Birdtrack also flies off after Megatron, her Demon Slayer sword sheathed to her backplate like a ninja katana sword.
Meanwhile, on the bottom side of the Space Bridge, Ratchet advises over the commlink, "Now, follow the line from the flow regulator to the Energon pump. There must be a valve."
Silverimus spots the valve and notifies Ratchet, "I see the valve."
Silverimus presses the middle red button and the valve extends as Ratchet replies, "Good. Now, in order to turn all of that power against itself, all you have to do is reverse the current."
Silverimus manages to do so without much trouble because of his enhanced superhuman strength.
In the base, Silverimus advises, "The current is reversed. The Space Bridge is set to blow."
Agent Fowler exclaims before inquiring, "Yes!... Right?"
Pyrodragon replies, "Most definitely."
Ratchet then says, "I'll ready the Ground Bridge."
Back at the bottom of the Space Bridge, Fortressimus calls out, "Look out! Megatron incoming!"
Everyone starts shooting at Megatron.
Megatron tries shooting Arcee and Omega Danger, but they get pulled out of the way just in time, and Birdtrack roars loudly as she slams into Megatron at full speed before grabbing him by his wings and throw-slamming him into a Space Bridge ring part.
Megatron yells in pain as he slams into the ring of the Space Bridge.
Megatron tries to chase Birdtrack, but Jetsable knocks Megatron into the ring again with a fireball.
Megatron flies towards the Autobots yet again, only to get constantly shot at a lot more.
And sadly, because of how many Autobots were shooting at him in a consistent pattern, Megatron decides to flee like the coward he is. But not before Jetsable badly burned the Decepticon leader with his dragon mode's fire breath.
Fortressimus flies over to Optimus, retrieves his broken sword, and picks him up as the Space Bridge ring's floor starts breaking apart.
Megatron flies towards the portal and transforms back to robot mode.
Megatron looks behind him to see the Nemesis fleeing the scene!
Megatron demands, "Ironspan, Counterheader, where is my ship?!"
On the bridge, Counterheader replies hysterically, "We wouldn't be able to make it in time, Lord Megatron! Don't be an idiot! The Space Bridge is going to explode!"
Victoryjump adds, "She's right, my liege! Take flight and retreat back to the ship quickly!"
As Fortressimus and Optimus fly towards the Ground Bridge portal, Ratchet calls out over the commlink, "Optimus, Fortressimus, the Ground Bridge is ready and waiting!"
Then, the two Autobot leaders call out in unison, "Autobots, jump!" "Autobots, jump!"
The entire Autobot army jumps into the Ground Bridge portal and the leftovers are teleported to the base thanks to Fortressimus supplying the leftovers with teleportation disks.
Birdtrack flies into the portal as well, disengaging her dragon mode.
The Ground Bridge portal closes as soon as the last Autobot gets through.
Megatron looks at his giant army of Terrorcons and states, "My legion..."
The Terrorcons seem to be getting closer and closer.
Just then, Megatron's purple optics widen in horror as he watches his Space Bridge just seconds away from exploding in his face.
Megatron shouts, "No!"
Megatron reaches out to grasp the lead Terrorcon's servo.
Just then, from an outside view, the Space Bridge implodes before exploding outward, leaving no evidence that Megatron, his planet-sized legion of Terrorcons, and his older brother Tideclash were even there.
On the bridge of the Nemesis, Victoryjump remarks, "Decepticons. It is with deep sorrow that I note for the log that Megatron's spark has been extinguished along with the spark of his brother and sub-commander, Tideclash. All. Hail. Ironspan."
Victoryjump smirks softly to himself, keeping his expression hidden from the Decepticon troops.
But then, Speedgazer punches Victoryjump hard in the head before throwing him into the nearest wall far from any computer terminals.
Speedgazer then snarls, "You piece of scrap! If you had sent someone to pull my father out of the Space Bridge minutes before it exploded, he'd still be online!"
Soundwave steps between the twosome and plays back a recording of Megatron saying, "We don't have time for a fight or an argument between the both of you!"
Soundwave then plays back a recording of Megatron saying before asking, "Speedgazer, in case I go offline or if I go comatose to the point where only Dark Energon would be able to bring me back online, I want you to take control of the Decepticons for me. Can you do it, my son?"
Speedgazer replies, "Yes indeed, Soundwave."
Soundwave plays back a recording of Megatron saying, "Excellent. Get started when you get the earliest opportunity. Your training will prove invaluable, especially if Ironspan tries to cross the line and finish me off when I'm fatally damaged."
Victoryjump roars as he charges, but Soundwave restrains Victoryjump and snarls in a non-computerized iteration of his real voice, "If you try to usurp control, I will terminate you myself! Do I make myself clear?!"
Victoryjump whimpers before answering, "Crystal clear, Soundwave!"
Soundwave releases Victoryjump before replying and before saying to all Decepticons aboard the ship, "Good. Now, return to your post. Now, listen up, all Decepticons aboard the ship! Until we can recover whatever's left of Lord Megatron's framework for repairs, Speedgazer will be in charge. And if any of you have questions, they will be answered. But do not question Speedgazer's leadership! That is all."
The Vehicons and other Decepticon troops aboard the ship chant in unison, "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!" "All hail Speedgazer!"
In the base, Ratchet and the others are waiting anxiously.
Rafael starts to ask, "Do you think they're...?"
Ratchet checks his life signal scanner on his right arm and answers in a shocked tone, "Up to four quadrillion life signals... all in good health."
First, Optimus and the other Primes emerge, with Fortressimus holding Optimus' broken sword.
Then, Bulkhead emerges.
Miko runs down the stairs and exclaims, "Bulkhead!"
The twosome hugs each other as best as they can.
Bumblebee emerges next.
Rafael remarks, "Bumblebee! You're all okay!"
Bumblebee replies, "I told you that we'd be back before you knew it."
Arcee, Tailgate and Cliffjumper emerge next.
Vince and Sierra transform to their robot modes and they respectively hugged their partners while Jack used Fortressimus' Matter Shifter to increase his height to Arcee's size so that he can hug her.
And though shocked, Arcee manages to hug Jack in reciprocation.
Soon, the rest of the Autobot army – including Vehicon Fliers that were reprogrammed – emerged from the Ground Bridge.
June states a bit tearfully, "You're all okay!"
Fortressimus wipes his own Energon tears before admitting, "Sorry; I'm just a tad emotional during mushy endings."
Ratchet then inquires, "And what of Megatron?"
Optimus replies in a hardened serious tone, "Not even he or his adopted brother Tideclash could've survived Ground Zero."
Fortressimus mentally remarks, "Considering how many times in the past of the Aligned continuity Megatron has come back from the dead before today's events happened, I wouldn't be so sure of that."
Agent Fowler states as he straightens his tie and enters the elevator, "Prime! I didn't get to thank you and your army for the save. I owe you one. We all do."
The elevator closes and Agent Fowler gets to his new helicopter provided by Thundercracker, Starscream, Skywarp, and Skyfire.
Cliffjumper asks in slight surprise, "Did he just thank us?"
Blow Saber answers smugly, "Yes, and he's going to learn to appreciate our assistance from now on."
Bulkhead chuckles in response as he replies, "I'll believe that when I see it happening for real."
Miko then approaches Optimus while being mindful of personal space despite the size difference and she asks, "So, is this the part where you guys say goodbye and tell us we need to forget we ever saw you and to forget that most of us are techno-organics?"
As the Primes retract their battle masks, Fortressimus answers for Optimus, "Considering the fact that we have a Space Bridge, we could easily leave to Cybertron. But considering the fact that we currently have no Autobot ship with vast amounts of Energon for the rest of our troops on Earth and across the universe to make the journey back to Cybertron, considering the fact that we don't possess ready means of reviving the home planet of the Transformers, and considering the fact that there's potentially hundreds to thousands of more Decepticons scattered throughout the twenty-eight known galaxies ready to revive the Decepticon cause in the event of the faction being disbanded or decimated, let's just say we're gonna be here for quite a long time. But we would have to continuously seed Earth with Energon because even if the war ends, we still need Energon to survive."
Optimus adds, "And even if we didn't have those adversities, I don't see any other reason to leave."
Miko just beams in pride.
But then, Ironrider suggests, "Hey, why don't we use the Forge to create an Energon Converter that can transmutate organic molecules from Earth freshwater and from the food that humanity eats on a daily basis into Energon any time we consume said food and water?"
Optimus and Fortressimus' optics widened before Fortressimus face palms as he bemoans, "How could even I have been such an idiot to forget that detail?!"
Later that day, as the kids are picked up from school and the Autobots drive and fly into the sunset over the Nevada desert, Optimus narrates, "Even with a means of leaving this world but at the same time without a means of reviving Cybertron, we Autobots take strength in the bonds we have forged with our 1,711 young friends – true warriors. If not in body, then in spirit. I am Optimus Prime, and I send this message to any surviving Autobots taking refuge among the stars. We are here. We are waiting for you to arrive. So arrive at best possible pace immediately, and do not take too long. And I also send this message to any Decepticon who would arrive on Earth. Even though we did not choose to be of Earth, it would seem that we are indeed here to stay. If you approach this planet with hostile intent, know this: we will defend ourselves. We will defend humanity. We will defend all forms of techno-organics and other forms of Earthly life and all forms of Cybertronian life from harm. We will defend our home."
(Two hours later that day...)
Fortressimus was sitting on the roof of the base, meditating while listening to some soothing instrumental music and the sound of an Earth cat purring.
As the sun was setting, Fortressimus' armor gleamed in the setting sunlight.
Fortressimus took a deep breath before letting it out as he continued to meditate.
He was so deep in his trance that he didn't hear the elevator letting out someone or the sound of pedes walking over to him.
But Fortressimus then felt someone's presence behind him.
Fortressimus looks behind him to see who wanted to talk to him in the middle of his meditation session.
Seeing that it was Ratchet, Fortressimus says, "If you have come to talk, my audio receptors are go."
Ratchet sits next to the younger Prime and says, "I... I actually wanted to apologize about the way I have acted towards you and the other humans and our techno-organics. I'm not used to this type of arrangement."
Fortressimus then adds in a serious tone, "And I'm guessing that your opinion of humans had since soured because of Agent Fowler's attitude towards our troops causing collateral damage to the Earth's various environments and the close calls you all had in your teammates almost being exposed whenever your fights against the Decepticons near where humans could easily see them, complete with Agent Fowler's hot-tempered rants being the equivalent to more than two bots chirping at each other like malfunctioning scrap droids?"
Ratchet looked shocked before answering, "Yes."
Fortressimus then takes a breath again before replying, "You're forgiven, Ratchet. I'm not the type to hold a grudge against someone of your caliber, especially because of something petty and minor."
Ratchet sighs in relief.
Ratchet then asks, "Fortressimus. Even if you and your army didn't have foreknowledge of our dimension's future, do you think you would be willing to do everything it takes to end the war? Even if it means killing Megatron in cold blood?"
Fortressimus answers, "Considering the fact that it would take about another eighteen episodes for Optimus to finally consider killing Megatron for good, suffice to say I would be more than willing to kill Megatron myself in the event Optimus is unable to do so for any reason, other than getting cold feet."
Fortressimus and Ratchet proceeded to stare at the sunset.
But if there's one thing Fortressimus knew, it's that Optimus was secretly watching from the cameras.
The elder Prime couldn't help but smile at seeing two of his friends making up with each other.
Optimus remarks quietly, "(Softly) It's about time this happened."
But of course, Optimus couldn't help but wonder if it really will be a matter of time before he finally decides to destroy Megatron for good.
And if there's one thing that answered Optimus' mental question, it's the fact that Fortressimus Prime is never wrong when it comes to his foreknowledge, but not to the point of becoming arrogant.
Optimus then glanced behind him to see Downshell, one of his reserve scouts, thinking while looking at Fortressimus on the cameras.
But what caught Optimus' optics was that Downshell was looking at Fortressimus like a human femme stares at a human mech with adoration and feelings of romantical love.
Optimus mentally remarks, "This could be an interesting romance in our ranks that makes the history archives."
Optimus turned off the roof camera and went to his quarters to recharge.
However, before he can get very far, Birdtrack came in and laid down on a medical berth.
As Ratchet comes in with Fortressimus, Optimus asks in concern, "Birdtrack? What is wrong?"
Birdtrack answers woozily, "I... used up... almost all of... my Energon... in my... dragon mode... in the... fight with... the Decepticons."
Birdtrack then went into a comalike stasis recharge.
As Ratchet went to work, Fortressimus placed into Birdtrack's chestplate a trio of Energon Rechargers.
The next day, unbeknownst to the Autobots and Decepticons alike, a medium-sized freighter ship capable of transporting up to 50 troops at a time touched down in the Ashley Forest in Utah.
The ramp deploys and one of the passengers emerges.
The femmebot has the same chestplate as Bumblebee, slightly longer door wings, her front wheels behind her shoulders, her back wheels were used for heel spurs, and in essence, she looks like a mixture of about 15 different Grounders from throughout the Transformers multiverse who transform into cars.
But what makes her easily identifiable to most Cybertronians these days is the Autobot symbol on her chestplate.
A male voice calls out, "Necroride, is the coast clear?"
After triple-checking, Necroride replies, "Yes, Voltsmasher. The coast is clear."
Soon, Voltsmasher and 48 other Autobots show up, 24 of them being Fliers and another 24 of them being Grounders.
Voltsmasher then says, "Swiftdreamer, Skyvoid, Moonsmasher, Sunstriker, Worldjolt, Duskblast, Nightstriker, Stellarbeat, Chromefinder, Galaxyblast, Crashmind, Spikefall, Solarbite, Battlebane, Skycoder, Metalfall, Currentshock, Voltcrusher, Terrorgiver, Stellargiver, Chronorunner, Hydrorunner, Battleracer, Victorydrive, Stellareater, Sungaze, Tidescare, Atombeat, Circuitforce, Chromescare, Metalblazer, Starfinder, Terroreater, Moonroar, Worldjumper, Lawsinger, Deathwing, Chronobringer, Riftrider, Swiftfinder, Gearflight, Battlereaper, Spikegaze, Voltstriker, Battledreamer, Victoryblast, Gravityfist, and Sunride, in order for us to blend in better with the humans based on what we saw in our ship's simulator, we will need to scan vehicles based on human technology. And at the same time, we will have to hide our energy signals from the Decepticons just in case they come looking for a fight. Unfortunately, we won't be able to find out where our fellow Autobots are due to the fact that they have a cloaking shield combined with several pedes of solid rock to isolate unauthorized communication from the inside. Don't worry, though; if we can find any Autobots on patrol, we can easily join up with them. Now, move out!"
The 50 Autobots went in different directions, and in no time, they scanned appropriate cars, trucks, and military aircraft, specifically military planes.
Later, on the road leading away from the Las Vegas Strip, Worldjumper in his vehicle mode of a red, green and blue 2009 Honda CR-V sports car drives away from the Strip.
But then, he notices in his rearview mirrors a blue and white 2009 Dodge Charger sports car following him.
Immediately recognizing the sports car as Delta Team member Tailgate, Worldjumper contacts Voltsmasher and says, "Worldjumper to Voltsmasher. I'm being followed by an Autobot."
Voltsmasher replies over the commlink, "What? Which one?"
Worldjumper answers, "The one known as Tailgate."
Worldjumper diverts off into the miles of sand far from any humans driving to and from Vegas.
Worldjumper and Tailgate transformed to robot mode.
Tailgate spies Worldjumper's Autobot symbol and questions, "Who are you?"
Worldjumper answers, "I'm Worldjumper. My 49 comrades and I followed the Nemesis here, and we hid ourselves on Mars until the time was right for us to find Optimus Prime and his team."
Tailgate raises an optic ridge, but before he can ask any more questions, Necroride, Voltsmasher, Swiftdreamer, Skyvoid, Moonsmasher, Sunstriker, Worldjolt, Duskblast, Nightstriker, Stellarbeat, Chromefinder, Galaxyblast, Crashmind, Spikefall, Solarbite, Battlebane, Skycoder, Metalfall, Currentshock, Voltcrusher, Terrorgiver, Stellargiver, Chronorunner, Hydrorunner, Battleracer, Victorydrive, Stellareater, Sungaze, Tidescare, Atombeat, Circuitforce, Chromescare, Metalblazer, Starfinder, Terroreater, Moonroar, Lawsinger, Deathwing, Chronobringer, Riftrider, Swiftfinder, Gearflight, Battlereaper, Spikegaze, Voltstriker, Battledreamer, Victoryblast, Gravityfist, and Sunride show up and they switch to robot mode.
Voltsmasher then says, "Ah, Tailgate. Good to see you again."
Tailgate's optics widened in recognition as he exclaims, "Lieutenant Voltsmasher?!"
Voltsmasher answers, "In the armor plating, so to speak."
Tailgate walks up to Voltsmasher and shakes servos with him.
Ratchet then contacts Tailgate and asks, "Tailgate, what's going on?"
Tailgate answers, "Ratchet, you're not going to believe who just arrived to Earth!"
Ratchet questions incredulously before saying in curiosity, "New Autobot arrivals this early?! That shouldn't even be possible. Tell me who arrived at your location, because I'm detecting 50 Autobot life signals."
Tailgate answers, "My old drill sergeant Lieutenant Voltsmasher and his platoon."
Ratchet then says urgently, "Stay there; I'll get the Ground Bridge to pick you up."
In no time flat, the Autobot Ground Bridge opens and the 51 Autobots emerge in the base.
Ratchet's optics widened in shock to see Lieutenant Voltsmasher, one of the strictest but fair drill sergeants and platoon lieutenants in the Autobot army, standing there as the Ground Bridge powers down.
Ratchet states, "Lieutenant Voltsmasher... it's good to see you again."
Voltsmasher replies, "The feeling's mutual, Ratchet."
Optimus comes up and says, "Welcome to Earth, Voltsmasher."
Optimus and Voltsmasher shake servos.
Optimus then questions, "How did you and your platoon come to Earth, Voltsmasher?"
Voltsmasher answers, "Well, we followed the Energon trail of the Nemesis and concealed ourselves on Mars after we heard Megatron was packing Dark Energon to raise an undead army. And now that he's no more, we took a chance to allow ourselves to be found by a member of your team who I previously trained in the Autobot Academy. And that someone was none other than Tailgate."
Optimus replies, "I see. Well, let's get you and your platoon situated with your surroundings. I'll show you around our base."
And now, Fortressimus Prime was in his quarters, waiting for the Masters & Students episode to happen.
Fortressimus remarks mentally, "Here goes nothing."
THE END. But the show has just begun!
(Author's notes: There you go, ladies and gentlemen; the final part of Darkness Rising. And now, we're progressing further into the story's current timeline. But don't worry; there'll be many adventurous things to happen and to come in this story's future. But not necessarily the same as my other Primeverse story.
Also, in the tenth chapter, the Autobots will encounter a group of Decepticon Seekers. But will they defect to the Autobots, or will they stay Decepticons? We'll find out when that chapter comes.
Additionally, tell me something. Who wants to see the Transformers Prime video game in this story? I know I do! Now, true that the game is non-canon to the show, but it displayed Thunderwing, the Envoy of Unicron, as well as the Tank Vehicons, the Helicopter Vehicons, and the Tanker Truck Vehicons. And even though the gameplay in terms of transformation, combat, Overdrive combat, and so forth kind of sucks, that doesn't change the fact that the story and the options for character gameplay – including the flying Decepticons in multiplayer only – were something that people always wanted in a Transformers Prime video game ever since the days of War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron.
See you all in chapter 30: New Appearances, Powers, and Connections.)
