I don't own twilight. What I own is my character's behavior, personality, background, and the plot of the story.

Author's Note at the end.

Bella walks toward Victoria and her daughter with a wide smile on her face. Cece takes off running toward Maria and drags her toward the swings while Bella walks to the bench Victoria is sitting at and sits beside her.

"You seem to be in a great mood. Care to share?" Victoria asks her in place of a greeting.

"You could say I just received great information right before I arrived," Bella replies glancing at her and then returning her sight to the girls.

Once Bella got over the weird behavior of Victoria and her husband at Cece's birthday, Bella realized that Victoria is a sweet harmless person. She has the tendency to ask too many questions occasionally, but aside from that, she is not bad.

"I am not going to ask you what this information is because I know you don't like nosy people even though I am dying to know," Victoria tells her smiling mischievously.

"And I will appreciate your efforts by staying silent and not incentivizing you to ask in the future," Bella replies with a wink.

Victoria rolls her eyes at Bella, "Okay. So, is there anything interesting going on in your life?"

Now it's Bella's turn to roll her eyes at Victoria's insistent questions. "I am currently working on the design of a project in DC and the zoo's one. That's about it."

When the girls had their first play date together, Victoria told her the story of her life. She told her all about growing up in Texas, meeting James when she was 19 and he was 29, and having their daughter a year later.

Was his behavior creepy? Yes.

Was he trapping her? Most definitely.

Was she groomed? Technically, no, but what happened is still pretty close to that.

Would Bella tell her? Nope. She doesn't know her enough to be able to give her that kind of advice.

So Bella had no choice but to tell her some stuff about herself even though she wasn't comfortable doing so.

Victoria claps her hands and tells her, "That's great. I am very happy for you. Is Edward involved in the zoo project?"

Bella tried to keep what she told her as little as possible but the problem is that everyone in Cece's class knew that she lived with her mum and her dad wasn't around and it doesn't take a genius to figure out that he is her father when they saw them at her birthday party together, so Bella had no choice but to tell her a little bit about her drama with Edward. She didn't tell her why they broke up or why he hasn't been in Cece's life, just that he is trying his best to get Cece to accept him.

"He did the legal paperwork, but there is nothing else for him to do aside from that," Bella shrugs answering her.

Victoria smiles before she pats her hand and tells her, "She will get to forgiving him. Kids are forgetful."

Bella almost tells her about what Cece told her while they were getting out of the car, but decides that Edward deserves to know first and instead smiles and nods her head telling her, "Of course she will."

Bella excuses herself and gets up to call Edward and answers her on the second ring, "No, Bella I am not suicidal. I am not having a mental break down. I didn't slip and drink. Yes, I know that Cece is forgiving. No, I don't think you are secretly poisoning her mind against me. Yes, I trust you to guide her to forgive me. Did I answer all of your questions?"

Bella can't help smiling at Edward's predictability but she stops herself from laughing and instead asks him, "Are you done?"

After a couple of seconds of silence, Edward's gruff voice comes back. "Yes."

"I was wondering if you were free tomorrow afternoon."

"What?" Edward asks in confusion.

Bella ignores his question and continues, "Cece and I were talking about whether people deserve forgiveness or not the other day. A couple of minutes ago she told me that you deserve forgiveness. Now, that doesn't mean that she has forgiven you, but it means that she won't tell you to go away either which is a good start. I thought that if you missed her, coming to the park would be a great place for you to see Cece without her feeling guilty for refusing to interact with you."

Stuttering comes from the other side followed by a whoosh of air and complete silence that lasts for a minute until Edward tells her, "I don't know how to thank you enough for this."

"A diamond necklace wouldn't hurt," she tells him jokingly smirking.

"I will buy you a fucking jewelry shop for what you have been doing for me," comes Edward's immediate reply.

Realizing that Edward's hopeful excited voice will only spell trouble for her, she decides to remind Edward and herself of something important. "I am not doing this for you. I am doing this for my daughter."

Hello lovely people,

So, I am in a slight writing crisis. It's a small one. Nothing earth shattering. I just find myself in a writing cross road with two options, so I am asking for your help and suggestions. So far in my writing, Cece's relationship with Edward and its growth have taken center stage. That said, there are many events planned out for the future of this story, so my question is; would you like me to keep going at the same speed I have had since the start up until Cece accepts Edward as her father? Or would you like me to pick up the pace and finish that in the next one or two chapters?
