I don't own twilight. What I own is my character's behavior, personality, background, and the plot of my story.

"If I am not her dad, why am I the only person who can donate blood to her?" Edward asks his walls up. He will attack her on all levels.

"What about her dad?" He asks.

"He is not a match," she replies squaring her shoulders and straightening her back.

"What about you? He snaps back.

"I can't donate to her," she replies looking slightly uncomfortable, if the slight jerk of her middle finger is of any indication.

"You are not a match either? How is that genetically possible?" he digs.

"I didn't say I am not a match. I said I can't donate to her."

"What the fuck is that supposed to mean? You have got anemia?" he pauses for a second looking deep in thoughts before a light bulb moment happens and he continues, "or could you possibly have Aids?" he asks. Her eyes burn with fire as she slams her hand on the table. Finally, he has hit a nerve.

The Bella I know is here to play.

"Stop with the idiocy." she reprimands him.

"I am not being stupid. I am trying to understand why you wouldn't donate blood to your own daughter and be indebted to me your ex whom you were so desperate to leave that you ghosted me donate instead."

"Because I am on medication and can't donate blood to anyone," she replies shortly.

"Medication for what?" he asks her sitting down in front of her. A part of him, a small part is freaking out over her possibly being sick, but that part is being overridden by the angry part of himself that is out for blood.

"None of your business."

"You know," he tells her pausing to think, "Maybe I should check just to make sure I didn't get Aids from you."

"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" she asks him calmly, too calmly. Bella is his polar opposite in the sense that when she is angry she is too calm. While he is usually going around smashing shit and throwing them out of the window, she is the person who gets very calm, asks questions, and then sets to work.

"It means that since you stepped out on Me, I wouldn't put it past you to step out on Marco. Given that Cece doesn't seem to have Aids I am assuming that you got it from someone else."

She barks out a loud laugh before telling him, "Are you naturally stupid or are you being intentionally obtuse?"

When he crosses his arms and glares at her silently, Bella continues, "Let's walk your logic for a little bit. So, I dated you but ended up cheating on you and this is how I got Aids and gave it to you, but somehow I never gave it to her. Did I get it right?"

At his continued silence, she tells him, "Edward, for heaven's sake. Put your thinking hat on. I shouldn't have to deal with your attitude and stupidity. That is more than I can handle."

Edward seethes as he tells her, "That doesn't change the fact that you cheated on me."

"I didn't. The timing might be a bit sketchy but I made sure to break up with you before I started dating Marco. You can't be angry at me for what I did. I never cheated on you," she answers defensively.

"Not cheating," he yells then he lowers his voice, "not cheating physically is the bare minimum. The fact that you needed to break up with me to date him shows that you were emotionally cheating on me. You can't tell me that I don't have the right to be angry cause I do."

"You have a right to be angry because you think I emotionally cheated on you? Then what right do I have after what you did? If you have the right to be angry and scream, do I have the right to smash shit up?" she pauses for a second and says as an afterthought, "Oh I forgot you do that all the time."

"What is that supposed to mean?" Edward asks her defensively.

"You know what I mean," she tells him starting him in the eye.

"No, I don't."

"Doesn't Tanya ring a bell for you?" she asks him.

"I didn't cheat on you with Tanya. I started dating her roughly a year after you left," he tells her in frustration. He doesn't like the fact that he is the one in the defense now. It's hard to get what you want from your opponent when you are too busy ducking.

"Really? I recall the fact that Tanya herself told me that you started dating six years ago," she tells him as the smirk on her lips turns into a snarl.

"You are lying. Tanya wouldn't do that," he tells her defensively.

"You really believe that I am lying?" she asks him with the smirk back on her lips.

Bella is many things. An idiot is not one of them. Why would she lie about something that can be easily disproven? She wouldn't. Bella lives for winning arguments and proving him wrong. That is how things were when they dated anyway. That is why she could handle him. When he was a law student, he needed someone as passionate about arguments and debates to keep him on his toes. That is even how they meet, through the debate team.

She wouldn't do something that can reflect very negatively on her ability to win against him.

"I don't know why she would say that but I will get to the end of it," he vows.

"Like father like daughter," Bella mutters.

If he hears her, he pretends he didn't. The last thing he needs is another tangent to derail her from answering his question.

"That doesn't change the fact that you claim that I am not Cece's father, yet didn't donate blood to her, made me do it, and you claim that you didn't donate cause you are receiving medication for something you refuse to tell me about."

"I am not claiming to be sick or taking medication. I am truly taking them."

"For what," he persists.

"It is none of your business," she fires back.

"Give me one reason not to sue you and demand a DNA test."

All he hears is silence from her. She doesn't try to stop him from getting off the couch or give him any reason.

"We will meet in the court," he tells her walking towards the door.

She runs and stops him. "Why can't you take my words for it. Why do you need to test when I am already telling you its result."

"Because your bogus excuse is not believable," he tells her looking her in the eyes.

"It's not a bogus excuse. It's the truth," she tells him calmly.

"Then what are you receiving the medication for? If you want me to believe you then tell me what for," he screams at her.

"You wanna know," she asks him threateningly. "Yes."

"Cancer."

Did any of you see anything in this chapter coming? I genuinely wanna know how good I am at surprising my readers.

This chapter and the previous one were supposed to be one but it ended up being too long so I divided it into two.

I know many of you guys couldn't care less for Bella at the moment. But this is a very relevant part of her story which will be further explored down the line, and the reason why Bella can't donate blood to her daughter which is the primary thing that gets Edward to start doubting Bella's words.

If you are here for the romance, you will have to wait, but if you are here for the drama, on the other hand, buckle up cause it's about to become a very bumpy ride.
