"A Night About Adventure "

Double date with Robbie/Cat, and, Jade/Beck, going out to do something different than usual.

The gang loaded up in Beck's truck, while Beck and Jade were going out on a double date with Robbie and Cat. 'Tonight is about adventure', Beck told them, saying he wanted to do something different for their date. They didn't know what was going on, and Jade was anxious about it, but Beck assured her that they were going to have fun.

Jade stared out the window, while Cat and Robbie were in the back seat, bobbing their heads to the music on the radio. Beck reached over, taking Jade's hand, getting her to turn around and smile. She trusted Beck, and figured as long as he was there, she could get down with whatever kind of 'different' her boyfriend had in mind. They pulled up to the parking lot, and Beck opened the door for Jade, taking her hand while the four of them walked down the boardwalk. They walked for about five minutes before reaching their destination.

"What do you guys say to a round of mini golf?" Beck asked.

"Great." Robbie said, followed by a 'yay' from Cat.

"Sounds good." Jade said, simply nodding.

The group checked in for their game, got their clubs and balls, and were ready to head to the course. The first hole was simple, and most of them were able to make it in. The next few were equally as easy, the fourth hole was one where they had to get the ball over a curve, so now they were getting challenging. Beck and Jade were able to get their balls in after a couple tries, for Robbie it took a little longer, and Cat knocked hers in the water.

"Dang it!" Cat shouted.

"Don't worry, I got it." Robbie said, reaching in to retrieve her ball.

He pulled Cat's pink ball out of the pond, dried it off for her, and placed it down for her to try again.

"Here ya go, Cat. Fire away."

"Kk."

Cat took her shot, as the ball went around the curve, and she made it in the hole. She threw her hands up in celebration, her friends clapped for her, and she hugged and kissed Robbie.

"Wow Robbie, I got that in, in fewer shots than you did."

Robbie smirked, a little embarrassed, while everybody laughed, and he turned toward them, pretending to be offended.

"Don't you laugh at her." Robbie said.

"I'm sorry, but she's right." Jade said.

Robbie kept walking, while Cat patted him on the shoulders.

"It's okay, Robbie. There's still more holes to go."

They continued through the course, hitting their balls through the windmill, a crocodile, and the classic clown's mouth. This was definitely better than their usual dinner and movie date, and Jade was even having fun. It took her a while to get warmed up, but she was starting to get really into it. By the time the game was over, Beck won the game, but Jade wasn't too far behind. Robbie and Cat were also close, with Cat having a few more points, but Robbie adored her, and was willing to be the last one if it meant that Cat was having fun.

Their next stop was for food, and the four of them split a pizza, while they sat and talked. Cat and Robbie started dating a year and a half ago, which is less time than Beck and Jade who were on the verge of three years, still none of them could believe how much time has gone by. They would all be seniors next year, and be stressed about preparing for college. It will be a time full of filling out applications, writing essays, trying to get financial aid, while still trying to do their regular school work. A date like this is what the gang wanted to remember most about highschool, before they entered their busy adult lives.

Robbie sat next to Cat, pulling a second slice of pepperoni off of her pizza, while Cat playfully swatted his arm.

"Hey, get your own."

"But it tastes better off of your slice." Robbie jokes.

Beck laughed at them, while sitting with his arm around Jade. He absently played with the hair over her shoulders, as he observed his girlfriend still smiling. He kissed her temple while whispering to her.

"Hey, are you having a good time?"

"Yeah, I am. Thank you for tonight." Jade said.

"Anytime." Beck said, kissing her once more.

They finished the rest of their pizza, and now it was on to their next activity. A few feet from the pizza place was a laser tag arena. They saw several kids running around, and Robbie was the first one inside, taking Cat's hand behind him. As soon as they signed up, they got their vests on, and waited with their group. Robbie had been here before, so he explained where the targets were on the vest, also that once they were hit their vest would light up, and that the wall would have a panel to walk past in order to charge the vest back up. Soon they were let in the room, and ready for their game.

They were told not to run, but sometimes it was hard to remember, with how excited they all were. Cat was usually the one to start running, and had to remind herself not to, while trying not to get hit. Even though she got hit quite a bit, Cat was still having fun, and she didn't let it get her down. Jade opted to find a cozy little snipers next on the top of the ramp, and hid behind a pillar, looking for unsuspecting victims. She could see Robbie down on the ground, and waited for him to pass, before hitting his vest from behind. He looked around for where the shot was coming from, and Jade smiled knowing she was in a good spot where no one could find her. Robbie walked past the recharge panel, before coming back out, and then getting hit again. He still couldn't find who was shooting at him, and he looked all over while Jade chuckled to herself.

Jade kept hiding behind the pillar, getting shots in, when suddenly her vest lit up, and she looked behind to find Beck standing there.

"Found ya."

"Okay, I surrender." Jade said, walking to him with her hands up.

"Ah, that's good, and now you must pay your debt."

"And what's that?" Jade asked, as Beck walked toward her laying a kiss on her lips.

"I'm good with that." Jade said, continuing to kiss him.

In the midst of their kissing, Beck's vest lit up, and they looked down on the ground to see Cat and Robbie standing there.

"I got you, Beck, I got you!" Cat shouted.

"Hey, you two, no making out in the laser tag arena!" Robbie shouted, and Beck pointed his gun to shoot at Robbie's vest.

"Come on, Babe. I'll cover you." Beck said, as they moved to the recharge panel down on the ground, and they kept playing.

They played one more round after this one, and then it was time to finish off the evening with ice cream. The ice cream was enjoyed on the way home, while they kept talking about how fun laser tag was, and how much they wanted to go again. As soon as Beck got Robbie and Cat home, they left, thanking Beck and Jade for the invite. After that Beck and Jade were alone, while Beck drove holding Jade's hand. He liked when he could get his girlfriend to smile. Jade could be hard to read sometimes, whether she was angry or just deep in thought. Beck always wanted her to express herself, and he tried to give her the space to do so. Tonight she has smiled more than he's seen in a long time, and it made Beck feel good about the evening he had planned. When they got back to the RV, the two sat for a while, sharing a kiss.

"Do you want to come in for a while?" Beck asked.

"Yeah."

They head inside to have some time to themselves. The perfect way to end the night, after a successful double date.
