Chapter Ten – Little Voices
August
Summerslam, Las Vegas, Nevada
COLE: Liv Morgan, Liv Morgan is the new Women's Champion!
The fans covered their faces in shock as Rhea Ripley rolled to her side clutching her ribs while reaching for Finn Balor with her other arm. Her vision was blurry, all she could see was the feet of the new Women's Champion and they were still kicking her.
"Was that the finish?!" Rhea mouthed but Balor looked as shocked as the millions of fans watching all over the world.
Finn Balor was trying his best get in the ring but Solo Sikoa was holding him back.
"Get up!" Liv screamed at Rhea. "I said get up!"
Rhea turned to Finn and gave him a look like "What the Hell is going on?" but before Finn could answer, Liv Morgan was dragging Rhea to her feet and cuing her up for Oblivion. Seconds later, Rhea was out cold and the rest of the Judgement Day was being beaten up by the the Smackdown locker room.
After the show, Triple H applauded Roman Reigns and Liv Morgan, the latter of which was holding her newly won title. It was a last minute decision that only Roman Reigns knew about.
"Nice job Liv," Roman said sharing a hi-five with Morgan as Triple H prepared to leave. He wasn't even supposed to be in Vegas as he, Shawn, Seth and the God Girls were technically still in hiding from the US government.
"The show went great, if all goes well I'll see you on Friday," Hunter said to Roman and Liv.
"Are you gonna be okay getting out of Vegas?" Liv asked Hunter as he pulled his backpack over his shoulder and a cap over his bald head.
"I got here in one piece, don't know if I can say the same about you when Ripley comes around," Hunter said and Liv smiled.
"She did not see that coming," she said as Hunter disappeared leaving her with her new ally, who was also about to take off.
"Stay clear of Rhea for the rest of the week, if all goes well with Seth and the God Girls, next Friday is going to be fire," Roman told Liv and he reached out his hand for her to shake. "I'm gonna enjoy working with you Champ,"
"Likewise Roman, take care of yourself okay?" Liv said and Roman nodded that he would and left. Liv looked down at her shiny new title and smiled. "Welcome back, it's good to see you again old friend," she said and she kissed her new Championship before taking a selfie and posting it on her social media platforms.
Penn Station, New York City, New York
While Liv and Summerslam were going viral, Seth and the God Girls were in New York trying to meet with the Damsels of Destruction. There was a warrant out for their arrest but they had managed to keep a low profile by living with a bunch of homeless people in Penn Station.
That meant no bathing, no spending and keeping their heads covered at all times in the blistering New York heat.
"You make a great homeless person Seth," Becky Lynch said to the leader of the God Girls.
"Shut up Bex, where's that mouth wash?" he snapped at the Irish lass kicker.
"Bianca shared it with Charlotte and that was the end of it," Becky replied and she elbowed Charlotte annoyed. "One gargle, one spit, that was the agreement. How many swigs of that mouthwash did you take Ashley?"
"I had to gargle again, Lexi was turning away from me everytime I talked. I'm so sorry guys I didn't mean to finish it all," Charlotte aka Ashley said sincerely. "When are those damn Damsels gonna show up anyway?"
"We have to be super careful, there's a warrant out for our arrest. If anyone sees us we might not make it out of the city. They'll come to us we just have to wait," Bianca said and she noticed that Seth was still ignoring her. "Seth, did you hear what I just said?"
The other God Girls sighed, Seth and Bianca had been fighting for a month. Seth blamed Bianca for Seth leaving Sasha behind in Washington DC, only for her to be rescued by some military friends of Montez Ford. Now both couples were fighting which wasn't great for the other God Girls because Seth usually relied on Bianca to relay messages from God to the rest of the team. Now she was forced to relay those messages to the other God Girls, she hadn't been able to get Seth to look at her for weeks.
"Okay guys can you please just make up already? This fighting is really bumming the rest of us out and we're already bums. Can we at least be bums who talk to each other? Being fake homeless is hard enough," Alexa Bliss said.
"We're not fake homeless Lexi we are homeless. We can't go to the apartment, we can't go to the Sandbox and we can't stay with anyone that knows us. This is as real as it gets, just like my wife giving Montez Ford props for rescuing her when that's supposed to be my job," Seth complained.
"How did Sasha end up with a roof over her head and we're out here on the streets?" Becky Lynch complained.
"Hey I'm out here too you don't hear me complaining," Bianca said and Seth gave her a dark look.
"Well that's because you deserve to be out here Bianca, I don't. I should be inside in the warm with my wife instead out here with you while your husband plays the role that I've been trying to play for the last two years of our marriage. When exactly were you planning on telling me that you and Tez were having problems anyway?" Seth said angrily.
"When were you going to ask me?" Bianca snapped back and the God Girls sighed as Seth and Bianca descended into yet another soul destroying argument.
"You wanna go and sit on the other side of the street?" Becky asked Bayley, Alexa and Charlotte and the four God Girls nodded and made their way across the street with Becky and left Bianca and Seth arguing in the dark.
"You're supposed to be reliable, you've always had my back Bianca but this time you really screwed up royal," Seth snapped.
"Well you're the Prayer Warrior Seth, you're supposed to pick up on when any of the God Girls are going through heavy stuff. You're supposed to make us feel better but all you've been doing for the past month is making me feel worse. I'm pregnant and homeless and you're blaming me for what happened in DC," Bianca snapped back.
"It is not my job to know what's going on in your husband's pretty head Bianca, that's your job and you're clearly not very good at it," Seth said and Bianca scowled at Seth.
"Oh, you sure you wanna talk about what you're not good at Seth? Clearly it's not at keeping women happy. All you've done with Sasha over the last two years is fight make up and have a baby, fight, make up and have another babyy. If it wasn't for me, ya'll would have broken up a long time ago, don't forget about that!" Bianca said cruelly.
"What else should I thank you for Bianca? For convincing me to runaway to New York City instead of making sure your husband wasn't trying to cheat on you with my wife? Maybe if Montez was more interested in seeing you naked he wouldn't be doing such a great job of scoring points with my wife," Seth retaliated.
"He ain't alone, there's a long line of men that have scored points with Sasha, Tez ain't have to work that hard to make that list." Bianca said and now Seth was livid.
"You stop right there," he warned Bianca but the EST was hurt that Seth was being so unkind. "This is your fault and you need to take responsibility for dropping the ball in DC. You should have come to me the minute you thought Tez was being emotionally distant. You should have told me that he made a face when you couldn't fit into your jeans and you certainly should have told me when he stopped working out with you. This is on you Bianca, if you had come to me like you always do, I would have known not to trust your judgement and I would have prayed for you, instead of flying out of the court room and leaving my pregnant wife scared and alone with bombs going off all around her. I'm a damn good husband Bianca, which is more than I can say for your husband. Now, do you have something to say to me?"
Tears pooled around Bianca's eyes but she refused to let them fall, instead, she got up and shook her head in disappointment.
"Go to Hell Seth Rollins," she said and she walked away, or at least she started to but the Damsels of Destruction were standing right in front of her. The Damsels were also dressed up like homeless people.
"We heard you need our help to take down Shane McMahon," Melissa Turnbull said.
"Yes can you help us?" Bianca asked enthusiastically.
"Come with us to our underground apartment and we'll tell you everything you need to know," Melissa Turnbull said and Bianca nodded with eagerness and she turned to Seth sternly.
"Let's go with the Damsels of Destruction and finish this thing up with Shane McMahon and the DX family. Then, you can go to Hell," she said and Seth rose to his feet and blanked her, leaving her with a cold chill that she hadn't felt since the last time she saw her husband. The other God Girls saw Seth and Bianca following a bunch of homeless people from the other side of the street and wondered what on Earth was going on.
"Where are they going?" Charlotte asked Alexa, Bayley and Becky.
"Slowly insane," Becky replied and Bianca waved them over.
"Should we go with them?" Bayley asked and Charlotte and Becky looked at Bayley like she was crazy.
"Of course we should why wouldn't we?" Becky asked.
"Well you know, Bianca hasn't exactly been firing on all cylinders lately. I don't know if we should be listening to her right now," Bayley said and Becky went to hit Bayley across the head but Alexa stopped her.
"You dope, this is exactly what Bianca said would happen. She said that married couples would start fighting because of the demon that Triple H unleashed back in DC when he kissed a very married Stephanie McMahon. This is all happening because of Hunter and we are not going to turn our backs on her because of what that Bonehead did. We are one team, don't desert her now okay?" Becky said to Bayley but the former Women's Champion was clearly uncomfortable and also pregnant…but more on that later.
