Alright I think I am through my writers block and my aversion to writing. It has been a long few rough years and I am sorry to every one of you that have been following me. I hope to get a chapter out every few days. Bare with me I am trying a new writing style, outlining. Remeber I own no-one and Stephanie Meyer is lucky enough to have written each one of these people.
The car had stopped completely while everyone in the car was focused on the angry face of Jacob staring them down, tremors rolling through his frame. Bella quickly went to exit the car when Alec's hand shot out and gently grabbed hers. "No Bella, please. You can not get out, that thing looks dangerous, it smells similar to a werewolf but not quite." He said softly. Before Bella could get a response out to Alec letting him know that Jake was her best friend and not dangerous, Jake interrupted. "Bella, don't you dare leave with these leeches without speaking with me." He yelled so Bella would hear him inside the car.
Alec growled lowly as did the other vampires in the car, Bella just shook her head and giggled. "Jake calm down, I will be out to talk to you in a moment." She yelled in response and turned toward Alec. "Let me talk to him, you can wait next to the car if it makes you feel better." she said to him softly. "I'm not letting you go out there alone." Alec said to her.
In the front seat Jane narrowed her eyes at the stinking boy in the street, but before she could use her power Felix stuck his hand in her vision. "Don't Jane. Let Alec and Bella figure this out." He said quickly so Bella wouldn't be able to hear. Jane turned to Felix with murderous eyes, but nodded in agreement. Marcus whispered "Shifter." So that the guard knew what they were dealing with. The guard had been informed on shifters, but really had not had any reason to tangle with any.
Bella opened the door to the car and stepped out as Alec did the same. Before Bella could step away from the car she was engulfed in an extremely warm huge, she immediately threw her arms around Jacob in return. Bella noticed the growling and looked over to Alec glaring at Jacob, teeth bared. She smiled at Alec shaking her head, "Jacob, put me down now." She said to him, Jacob lowered her to the ground and held her at arm's reach looking her over. "Bells, you ran off and now you come back with a bunch of leeches, what's going on?" He asked her a bit harshly.
"Listen Jake, Edward lied to me about being mates." Bella started and Jake interrupted with a "No kidding." He added rudely. "Let me finish." Bella snapped. "When we were brought before the Volturi I saw Alec. It was immediately known to Alec we were mates and King Marcus has confirmed this. I'm still feeling a bit uncomfortable with it all, but I accept it. I need to finish high school and I will. That's why we are here, for no other reason than that." She finished quickly hoping Jake didn't interrupt her again. Alec stood there unhappily while Jake got angry again.
"You are choosing a vampire again Bella. Don't you know you will have a better life with me. I'm the better man, if that is even what he is." Jake said clearly beyond angry now, his vibrations were running slowly through his body as he held it back. "My Imprinting is similar to yours, shape shifter. I have as much control as you do and clearly you haven't imprinted on Bella." Alec said, pissed over Jacob's words. Bella looked at Alec a little taken aback by his words. "Imprinting has nothing to do with my love for Bella. My love would override any imprint my wolf chose." Jake fired back.
"Alright enough!" Bella shouted clearly angry now. "If you want to continue to be my friend Jake, call me. I'm leaving now." She said sliding back into the car and shutting the door. "Let's go please." She said softly. Alec slid back into the car shutting the door without another word. Jake turned and ran into the woods shifting.
Felix nodded to Bella and after Alec was in the car he took off. Bella crossed her arms and slid down in her seat ignoring everyone in the car as she processed the mess that just unfolded in front of her and what it might mean.
