Thank you for the reviews and the follows! Remember I unfortunately don't own these amazing characters, Stephanie Meyer did a great job with them. I jut get to twist this a bit.

It had been two weeks since Bella had been living at the Volturi castle and it had been a huge learning experience. Not only has she been completing her school work for Forks High, Marcus has been helping her learn Italian, Italian culture, and Volturi history. She had kept her grades up high and was enjoying doing things remotely. Bella also had been getting to know Alec slowly, with dates and time alone to talk. They had gotten closer and it was nice to understand and know everything about Alec. He was sweet, shy, caring, but also strong, fierce, and protective. It was still a lot to adjust to though, and she was doing a lot better then she was in the beginning. She had slowly become friends with Heidi, Corine, Felix, and Demetri, although Jane wanted nothing to do with Bella at all and Caius had yet to warm up to her either.

Also Carlisle had been in contact with Aro, letting him know the whole family would be coming to Volterra right after graduation. That was stressing Bella out, knowing she would face the family and her ex-boyfriend Edward, who she still had feelings for. She had hoped to at least avoid them at graduation. She knew that her heart would eventually belong to Alec, she felt the small pull and the gentle comfort being in his presence. Why did things have to be so complicated sometimes?

Bella sat at her computer working on calculus when there was a knock at her door. "Come in." she called while still working on the equation in front of her. Her door opened and Felix stepped in, "We are heading to training and wanted to know if you wanted to come watch?" he said with a huge smile. Bella paused and turned toward Felix, already amused, "I am trying to finish up this math problem." she said. Felix scrunched his nose playfully and said, "You need a break from this gibberish." as he looked over her shoulder. "I have to get my school work done Felix, even if it's really difficult." Bella said looking at the screen then back at Felix, "Although I think I will join you, I need a break." she added with an amused sigh. She rolled the chair back and stood up stretching. "I will follow you." she said, stepping next to Felix. Then they made their way to the training area.

The training area was half indoors and half outdoors. The inside was lined with training equipment and protective equipment, the outside had dummies in random areas far out. A huge training floor stretched from inside to outside with lots of room for sparring. Bella walked into the training area and smiled when she saw Alec. She walked over to him, "More training huh?" she said in a teasing tone. "Always!" Alec answered back jokingly rolling his eyes. Bella paused for a minute then looked at Alec seriously and asked, "When do I start training?" Felix and Demetri flashed over and looked at Bella curiously. "You want to train?" Alec asked, taken aback. "I figure it would be a good idea to know how to defend myself and it might carry over when I am turned. I know that I am not stronger than a vampire, but maybe I can learn moves to get out of the way or to help myself in a bad situation." Bella said with a bit of hope in her voice.

Bella cringed when a sweet voice floated over, "No need to train, it will never be enough or helpful." Jane said, not having a care in the world if she said anything hurtful or hateful. Alec immediately turned on his sister, anger written all over his face. "That's enough from you Jane or you will leave." Alec said turning back to Bella, "If you want to learn I can teach you in a smaller group." He added the anger melting to fondness as he smiled at Bella. "Thank you." Bella responded, doing her best to ignore Jane. Bella hugged Alec and then moved off to the side to watch everyone spar and practice their abilities. Bella loved watching Alec workout, he was lithe, attentive and dangerous. He could almost read his opponents minds while sparring. His power was scary and she was glad he was on her side so she would never experience it.

When training was over Alec came over and walked her back to her room, unfortunately she needed to get back to her studies. "Would you like me to stay awhile?" Alec asked by Bella's door. Bella's feelings for Alec had grown tremendously and she was a bit nervous having him alone in her room. "I think I need to concentrate on my calculus, but maybe we can hang out tonight." Bella said, blushing a deep red and looking away. Alec smiled and took Bella by the chin, having her look at him, "I would love that, I will come by later then." he said. Bella gave a restricted nod then quickly leaned in and kissed Alec on the lips for the first time before. disappearing into her room. Alec turned feeling beyond wonderful as he made his way toward the guards lounge.

Later on Alec met Bella in the kitchen to sit with her while she ate dinner. "How was your day?" Alec asked Bella interested. "It was uneventful with all my school work. I like the days I spend half my time with Marcus. It makes the tedious time less stressful and more enjoyable." She said in between bites of her Caesar salad. "How was yours?" she asked back. "I had a great day thanks. Enjoyed some gaming with Felix and Demetri." Alec answered back a bright smile on his face. Bella nodded her head glad that Alec had a very enjoyable day, she was excited for the weekend in two days. "You want to come back to my room for a movie?" Bella asked, flushing that deep crimson again while looking at Alec. "I would love nothing more." Alec answered back. Bella stood and brought her dish to the sink to clean it up, after it was done she turned and walked over to Alec holding her hand out. He stood and they walked side by side holding hands toward Bella's room.
