Over the next few weeks Bella spent a considerable amount of time with Alec and Marcus. She was learning, training, and then making out in all her spare time. She was learning a lot of Italian and was practicing it everywhere. Marcus was a wonderful teacher and she had learned a lot so far, she couldn't wait to learn more. She was thrilled that she was also allowed to train with Alec and Demitri. This was a huge relief for her as she wasn't completely defenseless.
She was getting close to being done with her schooling and that just made her nervous. She would be seeing the Cullens when she went back to graduate and then they were coming to Volterra. Her plan was to avoid Edward as best she could and at least she had her other friends and the Volturi with her. At least she had a few weeks left before she had to worry about it. The trip was in the works and she was glad some of her Volturi friends were joining her.
Tonight Bella was going on a fancy date with Alec outside of the castle. He had planned a wonderful night for them and she was beyond excited. There was a knock at the door and then the door opened, in came Heidi and Giana. Heidi was holding a garment bag and was smiling widely, "Are you ready?" she asked. Bella looked at them nervously but excitedly, "Let's do this." she squeaked out. Then began an hour session of getting ready and looking fabulous. Starting with a shower and then Bella's hair, a makeup session like Alice used to do to her, and then the dress. The dress was a beautiful green shimmery piece with a slit up one side and only over one shoulder. Bella took a look in the mirror and smiled, "Do you think Alec will like it?" she asked hopefully. She loved the way she looked, they had helped transform her into a beautiful woman. Giana stepped up behind Bella, "You look gorgeous, of course he will love it." she said softly. Heidi sauntered over and added "He would be stupid to not love the way you look." Bella nodded with a smile, "I look amazing." she added happily, "Tonight will be wonderful." she added turning to her friends. "Thank you so much for this." she said, motioning down her body. Giana smiled, "We are here for you." Heidi giggled, "Always girl, we have your back. Tonight is going to rock. On that note, let's dip out Giana, it's just about date time." she added heading for the door. Giana kissed Bella's cheek and winked at her before following Heidi out the door.
There was a knock at the door and Bella knew it was Alec, he is always so punctual, she opened it to be met by a very handsome Alec. It looked like he opened his mouth to say something but was frozen with it wide open. "Is something wrong?" Bella asked, confused, reaching out to him. Alec slowly shook his head no before answering, "No my Isabella, you are just simply breathtaking." Alec reached for her hand and brought it to lips before kissing it, he then tugged her gently into his arms before kissing her softly on her lips. "Shall we go?" Alec asked after steading Bella back on her feet. "Yes, please." Bella answered, stepping out of her room and closing the door behind her.
Their first stop was a small restaurant where they enjoyed a delicious meal, well Bella did and Alec pretended too. Bella would never get tired of the amazing Italian food she now was able to enjoy daily, it was such a change from American food. After dinner Alec brought Bella to a remote hilltop where a basket and a blanket were waiting for them. Alec hand fed Bella fruits as she laid in his lap enjoying the beautiful night sky. Bella was breath taken the whole evening, Alec could be so romantic sometimes. When the evening was finally over they made their way back to Volterra a little hesitantly. Neither one wanted the evening to end, it had been so perfect. Alec walked Bella to her doorway and leaned in to give Bella a good night kiss when Bella deepened the kiss. Bella opened her door and pulled Alec in not wanting the evening to end yet.
